Dunderhead head gets captured and his being carried by walking vines to be offered to RotJaw

Church members start chanting join us, join us, hissing snake sounds

Rest of gang at [[token://347|Doc Holloway]]’s getting fixed. Cadaver Kid must stay the night. Other two given tea from the backroom.

Rest of gang sees Dunderhead and negotiates replacing him with Tallow's body and another human body.

Cinder and Tombstone get chased by Hellhounds.

Arrive in time to see Tallow’s body getting offered to Rotjaw, a massive croc.

About 30 people gathered around the dock to watch.

Crowd chanting, "they have arrived" while Rotjaw is on the way. "they are satiated" after Rotjaw ate. 

Rotjaw thrums the water, before leaving, and the crowd sways in euphoria for a few minutes then go back to business.

Speaker A: Downtown Coeur d'alene where like the nightlife, it's like 10x the people.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: And it's just people eating food. There's a really, really good food. Obviously, we. Texas barbecue. That was mandatory. So we went to this place called Terry Blacks. But there's probably three or four hundred people at this place. It was insane. And they're just cattle and people through. And we had like, I think like 8, 10 of us to order this like 12 person thing that they have literally for a party.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: And it's like ribs and brisket and smoked chicken and sausage and a whole bunch of sides. And I just made ourselves silly and I didn't have to pay anything, so that was even better. But. And the ribs were like. I just put my knife against it and pushed away from my fork and it just fell off the bone. Like, it was like I had more ribs. In fact, we ate all that food and as it was going away, people were like, do we need more food? Everybody went ribs. Because the rest of the food was good, but the ribs were next level. I didn't even put any sauces on them. Just that, like, Texas. Yeah. Default rug and smoke was like, funny for me. Plus anymore it's like you go someplace with sauces and everybody wants it to be super sweet. Then someone were saying, like, the original sauces they had there were sweet. I have too much sweet in my life. There was just enough of that, like cured sweet on the ribs. I don't eat anymore. Yeah, that place was amazing. We eat a this sort of Japanese place mostly run by Indian people, but it was. You could order all you can eat or get these like packs of meat and they had two burners at the table and you like, you know, sear your own.

Speaker C: Oh, it's like a sukiyaki place where you cook your own.

Speaker A: Yeah, it was really good and that was nice. Yeah, we definitely spent some money on food. I got to meet some interesting people and everybody knows everyone by their discord names. So it was kind of funny to have people. And I kind of got in some because of my time in Open Tensor where I'm like sometimes nicely calling people on the carpet. For some people, when they hear my name, they go, oh. Another people go, hey. So it was interesting mix of reactions when people found out who I was. Or you would be talking for like 10 minutes and somebody go, that's homination. And they go, oh. Like thinking, what did I say? I'm on. I'm not mean to anyone. But sometimes I do have to like tell people like, hey, your stuff's messed up. I professionally push back on people when they say dumb stuff or false stuff. You've worked with me long enough. Not that I have to say that to you ever.

Speaker C: No, I'm three tiers deep.

Speaker A: I don't think. I don't think ever in 16 years that it ever have to tell you anything.

Speaker C: All the updates for something come down the pipe. It's more of a Indiana Jones warning. Here comes a boulder.

Speaker A: Yeah. Steve, you're one of the finest technicians I've ever worked with.

Speaker C: That's kind of scary.

Speaker A: Never had to. It's like. In fact, you're the person you send when it's like that person's angry. It's like, send Steve. But Steve will take care of it.

Speaker C: Suck it up.

Speaker A: You have the hard skills of the soft skills. Yeah, it was Austin was a good trip. Are we down west tonight? I don't remember.

Speaker D: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Why were a vicious creek which you'll get. Only your guys will get introduced a little bit later.

Speaker A: That's cool. I'm along for the ride.

Speaker D: You have a little bit of stuff we need to deal with first. What's that? Yeah, a little bit of stuff we need to deal with.

Speaker B: Someone forgot it was not a one shot.

Speaker B: Oh, I forgot it wasn't a one shot and did something at the very end.

Speaker B: Yeah, I cut myself by shaving and on a mole and it like hasn't stopped bleeding.

Speaker A: Dude, moles are the worst for that. I've totally done that.

Speaker B: Haven't stopped bleeding for like three hours. Damn.

Speaker A: Yeah, moles are weird. I don't know the math on that.

Speaker B: Yeah. So I was like, put a new band aid on it. Put a new band aid on it. I'm not going to the doctors for.

Speaker A: Yeah, just antibiotic crap.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: I wish you into second cauter. Miss it.

Speaker B: Yeah, that's the next.

Speaker A: That's true.

Speaker D: We could have.

Speaker B: Go to the doctor a day later. Infected. What'd you do?

Speaker A: Anytime anybody ever says cauterized wound, that's.

Speaker D: What I. Yeah, yeah. That's sort of that fuse through his wound, biting it down.

Speaker A: Yeah. They can kill you so fast.

Speaker D: If they did do that and either.

Speaker B: Kill you and be so infected, that's what their.

Speaker A: Their thing was is it would go to cauterize the wound. It would actually cause more damage and potentially blow the wound open.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker A: And then the material is so bad that you would probably get sepsis and die.

Speaker B: Well, so much of that material would go all over inside the wound.

Speaker A: Oh, yeah, I've mentioned your glister. You see that poker at the fireplace?

Speaker C: It's cleaner than the gunpowder.

Speaker A: Probably.

Speaker B: I think the best part is that fuse probably doesn't burn hot enough. Yeah, probably.

Speaker C: Yeah. Just enough to hurt you. You lie, light the fuse.

Speaker D: Let's see.

Speaker A: All right.

Speaker D: Yeah. So, Paul, a lot of. So a lot of stuff that will happen until you get to. You arrive here is just going to be kind of like what?

Speaker A: Yeah, that's fine. All right.

Speaker D: Yeah, so we got separated from the.

Speaker C: Party and now you're trying to catch up.

Speaker D: Sweet. So, yeah, so we pick up with Everybody has made it out West's clap after collapse.

Speaker B: Clap. Click on after collapse.

Speaker D: He GS off with the wand. He's just gone. He galloped off.

Speaker A: This will be entertaining.

Speaker D: He galloped off with the wand. And then the dunderhead was close behind him. And as he came up out of the church cellar, double barreled the priest. That was preaching, not a normal church.

Speaker C: You're supposed to find out.

Speaker A: That noted.

Speaker D: I was going to say everyone else has ran for doc. Always the doctor. They get fixed up because they got wrecked.

Speaker A: So. Yeah.

Speaker D: So Dunderhead, as you blast the priest, he turns like, he gets like staggers. Yeah, he's. He, he staggers. He like burns and smiles with his smile that's too big for his face. And then he opens his mouth and a whole ton, a whole lot of vines come shooting out of his mouth, trying to tangle up under his head.

Speaker B: Oh, and this way. No, I'm not gonna say anything else.

Speaker A: Yeah, no, you're good.

Speaker D: Yeah. So you could.

Speaker B: I got -4 HP so I have to dodge. I think you, yeah, you, you.

Speaker D: Yeah, you can dodge, right? Dodge. Yeah. Slicker luck. Okay. Yeah.

Speaker B: Nine. I don't remember what happens if I have minus four. Eight.

Speaker D: I think if you just take damage.

Speaker B: You roll on the death drop and then you add that. Minus 4.

Speaker D: Yes. Your 90 don't help. Yes. So, yeah, so the vines tangle up around Gunderhead and then you hear the, the people in the pews, they start chanting, join us, Join us, Join us. And it's like a kind of like a hissing snake sound. Oh, yeah, go ahead.

Speaker B: I'd reload my shotgun, shoot again if I can.

Speaker D: All right. Hey, give me. Yeah, this would probably be a dexterity while you're like being tangled up.

Speaker B: Yeah. How's it a nine again? The two different dice.

Speaker D: Oh, then I also. Yeah, everyone also does have an. It's an ace at the start of the stuff I almost forgot about that. All right. Yeah. So you. You. You fumble and drop some of the shotgun rounds, and then, yeah, the vines, like, wrap you up and, like, detach from the priest and, like, plant themselves on the floor. So you're, like, tangled up now and, like, can't move and.

Speaker B: Don'T remember what.

Speaker D: His place was when he popped him up here.

Speaker B: It wasn't great.

Speaker D: Oh, yeah. So with his, like, groaning, Sylvester Stallone Spanish accented voice.

Speaker A: That's right.

Speaker B: That was the one. We couldn't figure out how you would do it with a Stallone, plus the Spanish and Southern.

Speaker D: So, yeah, he just goes, won't you. He just feels like, won't you join us?

Speaker B: Feel like heck, no. So then it's trying to get out or.

Speaker D: All right, yeah, you can do a strength roll as you're trying to break the. The Twisted Vines.

Speaker B: 6Th Dicey Swing Back from Lysa.

Speaker D: Yes. And then he goes, fine, then we will just offer you karachow. And then, like, the plants kind of, like, walk into the corner. Actually, Dahlia, they start walking out towards the. Yeah, well, yeah, they just start walking you out towards the. Out the door of the church, like, through the. Through the people that are, like.

Speaker B: They're sitting in the pews and they're.

Speaker D: Still chanting like, join us. Join us.

Speaker B: Join us. Keep struggling to get out. That's what Dunger has been doing.

Speaker D: All right, you give me one more.

Speaker B: No, it's a savage.

Speaker A: Coming up.

Speaker B: One. Yeah.

Speaker D: Yeah. So I'll say with that that you're just, like, stuck. Dunderhead. Stuck in the vines. And they're like. They've kind of like, are like. Yeah, they just have you, like, your hands and stuff are just, like, strapped to your sides.

Speaker C: This is some bad anime.

Speaker B: Yeah, 100%.

Speaker D: So then we'll go over as. Like that you're moving and, like, the procession going.

Speaker B: They're not.

Speaker D: No, they stand up and follow the. Follow you out. And the priestess, like, leading the way.

Speaker C: How far ahead is the first group that headed towards Doc. Would we notice?

Speaker D: Why don't you guys give me a luck roll and we'll just say it.

Speaker C: I mean, you bolted. We definitely separated the party.

Speaker D: Yeah. Give me a luck roll to see. You guys hear the. The shotgun.

Speaker C: I got in here? That's only a five.

Speaker D: Okay. Yeah, this. This just needs to be an eight or better.

Speaker C: Not one hold a five. But he has no luck to balance it on. So neither one of those two saw it. And we're too busy getting that one guy who is amazingly quick session to the hallway.

Speaker D: So I guess what actually I guess also wits apparently is listed as per. As the perceptions that I just found out. So if wits is better for either of those roles.

Speaker C: Still may be a seven.

Speaker D: Okay. All right. Yeah. So you guys are running straight over to doc Callaway.

Speaker C: You cross the bridge safely.

Speaker D: Oh, yeah, that's true. Yeah, you'd be running across the bridge.

Speaker C: This is pretty much what the place looks like. The church is over here. Then you have a slum the end. And docs are over here.

Speaker D: That central. That'll all get introduced once cinder. Once his guys show up. I'll read over everything again.

Speaker C: Okay.

Speaker D: Yeah. So you guys. Yeah. Get over to the docs. Yeah. We should move the sign that swings on the rusty paint and the paint peeling real older stranger symbols to me. Yeah. So you. You get back in there in greetsu, which is like formal speech with this squeaky Spanish voice.

Speaker C: Oh, you guys are back. You in need of healing now. Yes, sir. Drag in. I don't remember which one it was.

Speaker D: I think it was cadaver kid was actually like dying. It was going to die in like four hours or something like that. Something like that. Dropped death goals.

Speaker C: Corner running out. Cadaver kid was fast as tucked by a fleet of foot.

Speaker A: Yes.

Speaker D: He was getting out of dodge. Yeah. See you get in there. He's like, oh, well, take a seat in the chair.

Speaker A: We'll get you fixed right up.

Speaker C: I guess. You got a place where we can lay him down or you want him in a chair? He's kind of a mess.

Speaker D: Oh, it's right here in my. In my barber chair. Yeah, he just put him in there. Then he, like stretches them out and he starts looking at him.

Speaker A: He's fitting his namesake for now.

Speaker C: There. There are many tales to tell from last session, but can you. Can you save him, Doc? I know he's beat up rough.

Speaker A: Yep.

Speaker D: He'll just stay in the night and.

Speaker A: He'Ll be good as new.

Speaker C: That's prison.

Speaker A: What about you guys? You need some fix?

Speaker C: I think Edward might be really good about him. Aaron seems to be okay.

Speaker D: Okay. Yeah. He just goes, oh, just go sit down in these chairs.

Speaker A: No be with you.

Speaker D: Short.

Speaker C: Kind of sketch. He's like, that's. That's all I gotta do. Yep.

Speaker D: I'll just go in my back room and be right back. He goes back in there. He unlocks the door, and you hear like, wet clicking sounds coming from inside there. Like when he walks in there, there's. There's no, like no light in there. It just looks like it's like dark and like almost foggy. He goes in there and closes the door and after about like 10 minutes comes back with two cups of tea for. For the year. Two people. He just has like. He's kind of like put on like a. I guess operating like clothes, like butcher rogue. Trying to get up on his plastic, like, with like big leather gloves.

Speaker A: Kind.

Speaker C: Of like a butcher apron kind of.

Speaker D: So he said, all right, you guys drink up and you can go skedaddle. I'll take care of Cadaver.

Speaker A: He'll be ready in the morning.

Speaker C: I kind of look back and forth. They're looking at like, go ahead, Deadwood, drink your tea. I'm not sure if I want to drink. You finally take it. You're tempted, like, maybe somebody should stay with Cadaver, you know, just in case. But the other one doesn't want to be alone at the end either. So.

Speaker D: No, the. The doc's like, hurry up and drink.

Speaker A: And get out of here so I can work. Can't do it with an audience.

Speaker D: That.

Speaker A: Would finally get in.

Speaker C: Probably go over to the saloon. He's not sure what that tea was, but it definitely needs a whiskey chaser. What Haram's feeling. Whiskey's not sounding all that bad either.

Speaker D: The tea kind of went from like, like sweet to like, bitter to salty. And then it had almost like a briny, like, ocean like, aftertaste.

Speaker C: If he's feeling nauseous, he's probably going to put his hand on that black pole in the middle of the courtyard. Just kind of brace himself. Otherwise.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: To the. To mercies. Not sure how that tea is going to make him feel. He might be really wobbly.

Speaker D: That's it. Like I said, you don't like. You're not like, feeling any more pain or anything. You guys would probably feel pretty.

Speaker C: What time is it now?

Speaker D: Well, you guys went there like early in the morning, like pretty early in the morning. So like maybe like 8 or 9 in the morning. It'd be pretty early.

Speaker C: That was quicker than you thought.

Speaker D: Yeah. You guys weren't down there like super long. Probably less than an hour, realistically. Okay, yeah, maybe an hour down there, but yeah, It'd be like 9, 10 o'clock in the morning. So I don't think you guys ate breakfast or anything. You just like, maybe did eat breakfast.

Speaker C: Well, we got there fairly late in the evening.

Speaker D: Yeah. But it's. It's still pretty early.

Speaker C: Okay.

Speaker D: In that case, before David.

Speaker A: Probably go.

Speaker C: For breakfast or whatever it might be called breakfast here.

Speaker D: Mm.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: So you head over to The Bone Saloon.

Speaker C: Wait to see if anybody else shows up.

Speaker D: Yeah. As you're, like, walking over to the Bone Saloon, you see the priest walking across the bridge, and you see Dunderhead like, like, strapped, like, in this, like, creeping, like, twisted, like, vine thing walking across them, being, like, towed behind him. And then behind him is like a procession of the people that were sitting in the pews.

Speaker C: There would have to be at least one or two double takes on that. The vines alone would probably so thunder you. You making plans for today.

Speaker D: You'd see he's, like, struggling and, like, freaked out and, like, is not wanting to be there. And then the. You'd hear the chanting behind us is just nice, Joy n. Joy n. And it's kind of like hissing sound.

Speaker C: Audrey, I don't think he wants to join your clan. Any chance you might be willing to let him go? I don't know. Is he showing, like, gunshot wounds or anything?

Speaker D: You would probably see that, like, there's, like, parts of his row have been, like, shot up, and it looks like there's, like, blood oozing out of them. But now he goes, well, I offered him to join us and he said no. So he has to pay the price for the hard he's caused me.

Speaker C: Well, how much is the. How much harm was done?

Speaker D: He goes, he shocked me, interrupted my sermon.

Speaker C: Well, what if you take him back and you listen to the rest of your sin? Would that be a fair recompense for the distraction?

Speaker D: He goes, no, he has offended the one beneath the creek. Recompense must be paid. Unless you have an offering you would like to give.

Speaker C: What sort of offering are you looking for?

Speaker D: Big flesh.

Speaker A: That answer came quick.

Speaker C: I think I might be able to find you something. Did you say eat trash?

Speaker D: No, eat trash.

Speaker C: If I remember right, we ran into some dangerous things that we had to put down. That rocket might like a little bit better than poor, squirming Dunder over there on the bridge.

Speaker D: It needs to be human.

Speaker C: I'm pretty sure this might have been, in fact, Dunder probably be able to lead you better than anybody else.

Speaker D: So what gm? What are you referring to that crazy leech corpse shooter. Oh.

Speaker C: And the other stuff that. That we were battling. I'm just the meathead I know for sure was very human.

Speaker D: Like, yeah, I. It was humanoid, but not.

Speaker C: But we were running so fast. I honestly. But here, my guys would not be able to have said for sure that it was.

Speaker D: Here. This here just got. Anything down you found in there would be unacceptable.

Speaker C: I'm trying to think what didn't we lose somebody down there?

Speaker D: Yes, Tallow died down there.

Speaker C: Talo would. Because he would have seen us go down. It's like one of our crew did fall down there.

Speaker D: He goes. He goes, how about this? You go fetch your comrade and then have a week and provide one more, and all will be forgiven. So you are frontier skunk.

Speaker A: So good reminder.

Speaker C: I. I would look out and I'd say, so, Dunder, how you feel about that?

Speaker D: He would probably be very. He would probably be.

Speaker A: Yep.

Speaker B: Hear me out here.

Speaker C: Sounds like a fair trade.

Speaker D: All right. And so he. The. The vine is, like, dropped down your head and, like, slither like snakes, like, up the priest's legs and down his throat. And then he smiles, too, with his smile that's too big and turns around, and the procession kind of, like, splits a little bit. He walks through, and they're. And then they're kind of like chanting like, yes, sacrifice. Sacrifice. Yes, sacrifice.

Speaker C: At this point, actually.

Speaker D: Well, no, they wouldn't turn around. They would continue. They actually just continue walking through the bridge, like, across the bridge. And the guy go, oh. The priest goes, bring your comrade to the docks. He will do it. And then as they. As that procession, like, walks across the bridge pass you, they just. You hear the.

Speaker C: I kind of give thunder, just a nudge with my boots, like, so what'd you do?

Speaker D: I shot the priest.

Speaker C: And for that, you're going down to get Tallow? And I kick him again. Then we can begin the next quandary. Got to track down one more. And I have a feeling the local populace might not count, but the doc might be able to help us out. If it ever doesn't make it, then. Well, that's already kind of said and done. But if he does.

Speaker D: Check on Neck real quick. Yeah.

Speaker C: And Tom Rocket doesn't want the molecule.

Speaker B: M.

Speaker C: Is kind of cool.

Speaker A: It is cool. You been there?

Speaker C: Couple times. Years and years ago. Dell training, huh? That was one. That's where I got to have my first Indian food.

Speaker A: I actually have heard that there is some curry spaces down there. I have. Two of the guys that I'm working with are part of our team, but the two of the leadership are from England. They're in Manchester area. And I asked them, I'm like, okay, I watch a lot of Brit Box. I've watched a lot of films. There's the stereotype of British food. What is it really like? And he was like, actually, there's been so much modernization in the UK and, like, importing people from other places. Like, we kind of we kind of like a lot of other stuff. The traditional foods though is like you want. You know, there's these.

Speaker D: They're niche.

Speaker A: Like people always talk about haggis and stuff.

Speaker D: They're all niche.

Speaker A: But this is. There's still like, people do black pudding. Black pudding. And they go English breakfast and stuff. And English breakfast spreads are really good. There's a lot of potato and stuff. He's like, there's. There's some good stuff. Your full meat platter. Yeah.

Speaker C: Bacon, sausages, eggs, bread.

Speaker A: Everybody talks about that. Like, yeah, that's really good. But he said that honestly, there's like a big push on. Everybody loves curry there. Yeah. And they've got. There's actually a place they called the Mile and it's a mile long of just curry shops.

Speaker D: Wow.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: And yeah, he says it's pretty amazing. And they have everything from the mild. That's flavorful too. That's like lightning on fire. But he said, yeah, there's all the traditional stuff you see on TV is not as. Especially if you're watching older shows. Then, yeah, it's going to show a lot of that stuff, the beats and stuff. But now it's different.

Speaker C: Maybe it was part of the empire.

Speaker A: Yeah, I think they still have a. Okay relationship. But yeah, that was kind of interesting. Yeah. The food in Austin was built definitely though a party scene at night. Oh yeah, it was crazy. Actually had one place that's. That's. It was a bar and on the outside of it it says adult daycare center on the outside of the bar. But it was definitely a lot of partying, drinking in that town, just walking by places where their music's just hilarious. Like I cannot stand yet those places. But it was interesting to walk around. But a lot of good food places. And.

Speaker C: I was never in that part of Austin, but I always heard it was a music scene.

Speaker A: Oh, definitely art. Like there's graffiti everywhere, but it's like high end quality. Most of it's pretty good graffiti. There's definitely like some of you like, that's just somebody trashing somebody's windows or something. But.

Speaker D: But it's artistic.

Speaker A: Stuff happens. Stuff happens. I get it. I've totally done that before.

Speaker D: Yeah, it's the weirdest thing.

Speaker A: I have a small one on my shoulder and I clipped it playing sports.

Speaker D: Once and I was like, what?

Speaker B: I shaved it.

Speaker C: Well, you'll know that Dunder survived.

Speaker B: That'd be good.

Speaker C: But we got a Fetch Tallow's body for a sacrifice and figure out one more sue the Priest.

Speaker B: New Cadaver kids are mine.

Speaker D: Yeah. He's a doctor getting has to stay there tonight.

Speaker C: He had some tea. We're not quite sure what the results.

Speaker D: Oh you. Your. Your two guys had tea. The doctor didn't give anything to the cadaver kid. Oh I thought yeah the tea was.

Speaker B: For your cadaver or something.

Speaker A: That's why I said he was living up to his namesake.

Speaker B: None of my guys have hats.

Speaker D: Yeah, nobody has hats.

Speaker C: Still have their hats.

There's a pack of four hellhounds bursting out of the bushes that are in pursuit of you. And hellhounds are. They're. They're like large, like, Doberman Rottweiler type, like, spiky collars, and some sometimes have metal helmets on them. But you guys might not have encountered. And maybe or other guys had encountered them before. Yeah. So the way this works is your guy on the donkey, you roll a D6 and the D4, you pick which one you want to use, and you move that many spaces forward. The guy on the horse, you roll D6 plus D6 and pick which one you want to use, and you move whichever dice you pick. You move that many spaces.

Speaker A: Interesting.

Speaker D: You get away from the dogs when they're either all dead or they run away. Or get up to the final space up here, which you have to hit with an exact rule.

They're thrown from the buildings. Lean like drunk men whispering secrets. Rough hewn timber warp planks. Frontier built but twisted as if the town itself is slowly spiraling inward down into something very deep beneath the dust. Hollow eyed faces of children watch from windows that seem just a little too narrow. Welcome to Vicious Creek. Mind where you step. Mind what you hear. And whatever you do, don't look too long at the faces and the windows. As you ride up to the bridge. The church which is number one on your left. The crooked steeple pierces the bruised colored sky and shadows stretching too far into shifting that place. And I guess you see. You see a procession. And I want to say at this point Tala's body has been brought to the bridge and like more people have come out of the buildings. The main people you've seen have all come out and they're all chanting like sacrifice.

Speaker A: Recognize this spot? Either the guys you would probably.

Speaker D: Well there's only one there. You would see that it's.

Speaker A: I mean either of these guys.

Speaker D: Oh either. No, you would recognize Talo. I'd say you guys were in a.

Speaker B: We were in a group together.

Speaker B: That's a cool thing. Very welcoming place. Yeah.

Speaker A: What's the opposite of cool? This. Hot.

Speaker D: Yeah. I love it. And I don't know. Is with the. The other three of you guys be watching this?

Speaker A: Yeah, we're. Because we would recognize you if you were standing because.

Speaker D: Everyone else is just like low HP or negative. But yeah, so. So yeah you would have got your P from Doc and then I don't know if you guys want to. If you're watching it or if you went and like sat at the bar.

And the priest drops some blood into the water. And then like a few minutes later, the chanting kind of like changes to here it comes, Here it comes.

Speaker A: When they cut you through the water, when you hear that, both of us start riding over here.

Speaker B: Thunderhead would watch. They'd be curious to see what comes out.

Speaker A: Same with deadlight.

Speaker B: Like, what's going.

Speaker C: Karim sees you, waves yours, like, I'm glad you made it. We might need you to find our way out of this place.

Speaker A: We'll still have our guns out for. Shot some hellhounds off or something.

Speaker C: Well, supposedly a crochet has been summoned. You might want to get an idea of the size and whether or not you think your vote to do anything to it.

Speaker D: There's probably like 30 people gathered in the town square area to watch this. And then, like, almost any person that you look at, they always smile and they have too many teeth.

Speaker D: And then, like. Yeah. So then when it's the chanting change. Here it comes. Here it comes. You see all like a fair. Like a pretty large, like, kind of like tidal wave kind of like moving up the. Up the river. And then a croc's head, like, surface is like, right. Like, you don't want, like, it, like, comes up, I guess, surface and comes up to the dock and opens its mouth. And from just the size of the head, it's probably like 30 foot long.

Speaker C: Well, good news. We found the relic. Bad news, it's gone.

Speaker A: We're collapsed.

Speaker B: Don't get mat to our hideout or less this guy.

Speaker C: You think that gator was on his tail? The way he flew out of here.

Speaker B: Once we got out, he just took off.

Speaker A: He steal it?

Speaker C: Let's just say he's taking care of it till we catch up to him.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker C: And actually, this is where dunder, when you come back, could probably fill in the details because everybody ran from the skeleton. We had no idea how that fight ended, Only that he came out and ran.

Speaker B: Yep. Yeah, Dunder fell in. We barely made it out and then claps. I think his name is. Was able to use the magic and just blasted it with lightning. I think it was red lightning, too.

Speaker D: I don't remember. I don't think any color, but it could be red light. Red.

Speaker B: I don't remember. He even blasted it and killed the skeleton balls. Then he just booked it for the hideout.

Speaker A: He blasted it with red lighting with.

Speaker B: The relic that he had.

Speaker A: Oh, gotcha.

Speaker C: It was very, very close at the end, from what I remember. By this time, harem cadaver flew. You've never seen him do a chase so quickly.

Speaker B: He did.

Speaker C: He was out and then came, like, right behind him. It was just under. And they turned around and duked it out in the end.

Speaker D: Yeah. So the. The croc there. And you also get, like, this horrible stench of, like, a rock fish.

Speaker A: Tombstone's horse starts dancing a little bit.

Speaker D: And then the. Oh, and the chanting, like, faints.

Speaker B: Change.

Speaker D: From, like, here he comes. It's here, it's here.

Speaker A: Feed, feed, feed.

Speaker D: Yeah. So then the priestess rolls the tal's body into the croc's mouth, and it kind of, like, curls his tongue up around there. The around tallow encloses its mouth, and it, like, vibrates the water. I don't know if you've seen how, like, crocs can do that. Yeah, just does that. And you kind of just like, feel it through the ground in the area. And, like, everyone there, like, kind of, like starts swaying, like, in euphoria. And then the croc, like, sinks into the water.

Speaker A: Sounds like, oh, there's horse burials.

Speaker D: Anybody that's gathered there. It was chance a few times. It is.

Speaker A: Well, it is. Well. It is accepted. Accepted, accepted.

Speaker D: And after a little bit of that, they all just, like, disperse and go back to what they were doing. And then, like, the priest starts walking back with this little group of parishioners following behind them. And they're like, kind of, like hissing. It is sated. It is sated. Yep.

Speaker A: So do we see them? These guys?

Speaker D: Yeah, you saw. You been talking to.

Speaker B: Yeah, we were filling you in on what.

Speaker A: Oh, I missed.

Speaker C: Yeah, at the bar. The old tower.

Speaker C: Haram is just kind of leaning against it under.

Speaker D: The moment you push through the bat wing doors, the air turns Thick this do tobacco smoke, spilled whiskey and something old or something wet the glass. The gas lamps, there's some in here too, burn a constant feverish red. They're light pooling like diluted blood across floorboards that creek wrong as if something beneath this pressing back of each with every step. The bar itself is a long stretch of yellow bone. The tables all tilt at odd angles that the ground beneath them has shifted. People hunch over their. Over their cards. Their face is half lost in the glue. The saloon guys and girls drift between the tables or laughter a touch too melodic. Their smiles never reaching eyes that reflect the light just wrong their skirts and whisper against the floor leaving faint damp trails that dry too slowly. Then you see the piano is playing itself and it's kind of wavering between a drunken real and a funeral dirge. And this up behind the counter in a jar like kind of like the top shelf. You see a. You see a tiny like frog looking thing with like spines on its back. It's pressing it on. Its lidless eyes are like watching you. And it has a five fingered hand that's pressed against the glass. And then see fairly tall like late 30s African woman with deep blue eyes. Narrow face I guess one deep blue eye. One good eye reflecting the lamp light like a cat's. The other socket of the hollow. A hollow where her shadows cling to eagerly. She's got black hair. She greets you with a slow like smoker sounding voice. With an Irish accent. What can I get you gentlemen? Some more whiskey for you.

Speaker B: More whiskey?

Speaker B: I should.

Speaker D: Yeah, we will.

Speaker C: Wesley's character is going to get all lonely and come looking for us. He might have new characters. I'm just trying to figure out how he would.

Speaker A: He would get there.

Speaker C: Unless he's another set of travelers that just came through and unless he's gonna play the ghost of Tello.

Speaker B: Maybe.

Speaker D: Yeah. So next week? Well, we're in south, I guess.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: No bell riders. Unless you guys would rather finish this.

Speaker C: Go. Either way, we made it out of the library.

Speaker D: Otherwise the plan is. Yeah. To pick up.

Speaker C: So I guess it would depend. Do you want to finish off a story arc before moving on or do you want to leave this as a to be continued?

Speaker D: And I'm fine with this being to be continued with. Okay.

Speaker B: Yeah. Then I knew that.

Speaker D: Whatever. But I'll. I'll drop a. I'll just do a hole in the chat and you guys can pick which ones we have western input.

Speaker C: Yeah. I'm good either way. I know sometimes dm. I like finishing off the arc. If I can just for train of thought.

Speaker A: Andrew and Vanessa say hello by the way. Went to. They had their son's birthday. Someone over there and say they're doing good.

Speaker D: It's been a year since their last birthday already.

Speaker A: Yeah, I know. Time is flying. Oh yeah. Because he's like super well behaved.

Speaker D: He's just chill.

Speaker B: Maybe they'll have time and come back.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker A: Because I think part of it is because with her working as a doctor, he works in a home.
