====== Session Summary ======

  * Session opens with casual table banter before discussion of adventuring gear (potions of knowledge, enlightenment rod, etc.).
  * Recap of previous battle: the party decimated an enemy rearguard, executed their leader, and freed forty-five chained villagers.
  * They learned of Serpent’s Creek, a fortified settlement led by a woman tied to the Sisters of Night Shadow and home to a strange loyalty-inducing pit.
  * The group captured a sniper and convinced him to guide them to Serpent’s Creek.
  * They traveled for two days by horror talon, observing the fortified city from a distance.
  * Discussion on defenses: crimson arcane beacon atop a tower, 15-ft walls with watchtowers and riflemen, sparse gate traffic, and heavy military presence.
  * Party debated ingress methods: posing as locals, going as prisoners, scaling the wall at night, or swimming via the river.
  * Chose to disguise themselves and began scouting for civilian clothes.
  * Shila shape-shifted (cat) to steal clothes; later the talon mounts raided the shantytown for more.
  * While collecting disguises, they triggered a hunting party response but regrouped with ample civilian clothing.
  * Approached Serpent’s Creek’s north gate posing as travelers or traders; succeeded in entering before sunset.
  * Explored the bustling Dusk Bazaar near the city prison and located the one-story brick structure.
  * Devised plan to infiltrate through the sewers; identified manholes in alleys and descended underground.
  * Using druidic senses, they navigated by smell and found a barred outlet beneath the prison.
  * Siti and Kinapak pried open the corroded bars and crawled through the latrine tunnels into the prison’s underbelly.
  * Contact with prisoners established through latrine; coordinated quiet extraction via bathrooms.
  * Discovered three subterranean floors; began unlocking doors to upper sublevels to release hundreds more captives.
  * Noise from lockpicking alerted guards; two approached and were ambushed—one killed instantly, the other thrown down stairs.
  * Reinforcements arrived; Tulu’s eerie drumming and Amak’s illusion of a spectral beast caused panic.
  * Amak and Siti collapsed a wall with a explosive spell and shotgun blasts, trapping guards beyond rubble; continued freeing prisoners below.
  * Guards regrouped and attacked with rifles and dynamite; Siti caught the dynamite midair and hurled it back, blowing enemy ranks.
  * Shila led 200+ liberated prisoners through sewers toward the river exit while others held the defense line.
  * Party exchanged gunfire with pursuing guards until nightfall, then escaped into the river with the freed villagers.
  * Once outside the city, the party covered the fleeing prisoners.
  * Talons created diversions within city outskirts, drawing soldiers away.
  * A foot battalion pursued them; the group ambushed it in the woods, Amak annihilating eight enemies in a single strike.
  * Session concluded with debrief: planning next steps, acknowledging success freeing prisoners of Serpent’s Creek, and discussing next campaign session date.

===== AI Transcription =====
Speaker A: Slippers.

Speaker B: There you go.

Speaker A: They could be blue.

Speaker B: They could be.

Speaker C: Yeah, could be. Matching slippers match the phone case.

Speaker A: It had to be shag fuzzy.

Speaker C: I've seen the worst foam covers. There's some weird phone covers.

Speaker B: There are. Let's see. I don't remember what items you guys do pack. What?

Speaker D: But we got items.

Speaker B: Well, yeah, from the loot that you guys looted the other day or I.

Speaker D: Have the potion of knowledge.

Speaker B: Yeah, they're written down. Yeah, I printed out. Yeah, I think you had that.

Speaker C: Oh, I didn't.

Speaker D: I just have the enlightenment suspended rod.

Speaker B: I thought potion stand in the potion.

Speaker A: Is that the one for stress?

Speaker C: Yes, yes.

Speaker A: I took one at the beginning and.

Speaker B: Then I.

Speaker A: Thought he was going in blind.

Speaker B: Take it out to add some color to it so it doesn't blend into your black background.

Speaker D: That's the problem. Everything black. Well, there wasn't.

Speaker A: If he saw me tip it on, egg it open.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: Like, oh, that's.

Speaker B: Last time you guys fought the rear guard. Then you guys made it the enemy. The rest of the enemy camp where Amok and Tula executed their powerful tag team 49 damage blasting the guy through the campfire.

Speaker C: I can still. I can still hear it in the theater of my imagination.

Speaker A: I was surprised he came back.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker A: Skipped across the water down like, okay, I'm done.

Speaker C: Yeah. It's like we're not sure, but he's unhappy.

Speaker B: Yeah. So then he like ran back in, shouted orders and started killing the prisoners. And then he got bit by a wolf. And so everybody surrendered. Guys found the 45 villagers chained in groups of five up in the cave. And then city executed the leader. Guy tribal leader wasn't very happy about that. And then you guys started interrogating other guys. Learned about the lady who runs who's in charge of Serpent's Creek, which you guys are outside of right now. And then he learned about the pit where people would get thrown into and come back out. Extremely loyal, but changed. Let's see. Yeah. And then the lady is connected to the sisters of Night Shadow. Let's see. And then. Yeah, there's roughly 135 or so villagers. The rest of the people from Kim Nick in most likely already at Serpent's Creek. Let's see. And then. Yeah. And then one of the surrendered snipers agreed to guide you to Serpent's Cree. And then you guys let everybody else go. Took your long rest. And then usually travel for two days by horror talon with a very nervous scout guy riding with one of you or being dragged along by talents. However you Guys travel to.

Speaker A: Script the neck that way.

Speaker B: So basically what you guys will say, you've out. You've skirted like the outside of Serpent Creek with your help from your guide. And you can see. I guess the most prominent thing is you do see sitting out like in the middle of it. I guess you can reveal that spot roughly because you can kind of see it anyways. At least over here is a very like 30 foot tall high tower. And then on the top of it and providing like a crimson glow across the entire fort. It's got like a big beacon, crimson arcane fire that sits on top of it. That's lighting the whole area. This whole surface creek is surrounded by 15 foot high walls, stone and timber. There's watchtowers which you can kind of. Those are the circles on the. On the wall pieces that are manned by archers or riflemen. I guess in. Yes, that's basically where we're at.

Speaker A: Did we see any special defenses on the creek itself when we do patrols.

Speaker C: Like just guards in the water.

Speaker B: There's just guards watching it. I mean traffic still flows through there. As far as like they keep it. It's not like walled off or anything. It's just there's probably extra gardens on there to keep an eye on it.

Speaker C: Do you see people like generally going in and out of the gates or is it pretty much knocked up?

Speaker B: There probably wouldn't be a ton of traffic, but there is some traffic. So I mean there's. There's normal people like I guess citizens like live here in here too. It's not just purely soldiers.

Speaker A: Can we make out the protocol of the gate? Requesting a form of id Is it gold coins? Look to the guard. Show your tattoos. No.

Speaker B: Yeah. Most of the people going in are not dressed or none of them are dressed like you. Yeah. Yeah. And they're all either like. Mostly like. Like farmers, military or like merchants that would have like came from the field because the. There would be a lot more traffic on the north side because that goes to another port that connects to a railroad. And also traffic going up the north river which heads towards the railroad as well. So the north side is way busier.

Speaker C: Okay.

Speaker A: So this is the north side.

Speaker B: Yes.

Speaker A: What direction does the creek flow?

Speaker B: Let's see. From this it would be flowing south. Okay.

Speaker C: Submerging it might be easier.

Speaker A: Easier to float, Turn the canoe upside.

Speaker B: Down.

Speaker A: Pull close to a loud.

Speaker C: Our talent's been small.

Speaker A: Our droid can swim too.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Really good.

Speaker C: Yeah. And permanently.

Speaker B: So I didn't say you guys haven't got within More than like probably 100 meters. That close to us, we'll see probably 3, 400 away. Staying in the. In the bush because you likely get spotted. You would. You would definitely get spotted on riding around in the talon. Else, you know, I. You can see people coming and like going at the gates, but you're not. You're not going to be able to make out what they're doing.

Speaker D: I'd rally everyone first. Everyone needs to rally die. You got to do that.

Speaker C: That would add to her wall.

Speaker B: Yep. Good.

Speaker D: With the druid turn into a spider and like the rope up.

Speaker A: That'S a strong web.

Speaker D: It says you can. You can restrain people with it.

Speaker C: It would have to get close enough to a point where we wouldn't be singing.

Speaker D: Wait till nighttime.

Speaker A: So you bite them so you got the venom. And then you tie them up and.

Speaker B: You just want to happen.

Speaker D: If I would have thought about that, I could have restrained the one guy last session and then bit him.

Speaker C: Surprise.

Speaker B: Yeah. So you guys. I mean, it is. It's like early afternoon.

Speaker C: Yeah. We're gonna do something like that or get villagers.

Speaker D: Is it like just like a wall or is there actually like a walkway up there? We can see.

Speaker B: It's mostly just like watchtowers. I mean, they're. You would. You would probably see.

Speaker C: But can you walk between the points or is it just individual towers separated?

Speaker D: So these are all watchtowers.

Speaker B: Yeah. All the surround circles are watched. That might not be enough. They're manned by a dude.

Speaker A: Do we have any contacts in this area? I mean, other than the guy that we kind of drove along with us.

Speaker B: No, I don't. I don't think there would be no reason for your. Your squad, particularly for you guys to have anything here, I don't think. Okay.

Speaker C: Well, I can't fly and I could talk into my shell and you could trebuchet, but I have no other abilities to get in. So it's either.

Speaker A: So we take out the tower with you and we call it a hole in one.

Speaker C: That's right. Well, I guess we could try to go straight up into a tower and take it over. But we're going to alert the whole city if we do it. Maybe. Or we go underwater. I mean, maybe at night we could stealth over the wall. That would be challenging.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: I'm not really built to stealth.

Speaker D: I don't think any of us are fighting to see.

Speaker C: Well, you are as a spider.

Speaker D: Yeah, I was quieter, but.

Speaker B: A little bit.

Speaker C: Let's see.

Speaker A: There is further traffic to the north. How far away is it to the town in the north.

Speaker B: Yeah, it's probably like a day we.

Speaker C: Can intercept a boat. Yeah. But we won't know any other protocols.

Speaker A: Well, I was thinking if we got hired on and that them take us in and then they do their supplies and we just fade. In.

Speaker D: Fact, there's a lot of like military.

Speaker B: Yeah, the, the. That's a fort. So like two thirds of like the population is military. It's soldiers. This is one of their staging points for attacking.

Speaker A: We're not high enough level to set off a nuke. Even then they probably all fall into the pit and come back.

Speaker C: Who knows what.

Speaker D: Even more.

Speaker B: I'm gonna say your guide would say that either this, I don't know, it might be. Yeah, yeah. That exit, that gate or this northern one is closest to the prison.

Speaker A: But if it's farmers to the south, that might be the least amount of security and the most traffic.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker B: Long ways to go. True.

Speaker C: Do we want to go to the prison or we want to go to the Tower of Sauron?

Speaker B: I think prison.

Speaker A: I'm still thinking getting wet and.

Speaker B: Doing.

Speaker A: The river is probably the easiest way in.

Speaker C: Does swing require checks to swing?

Speaker B: It would probably be strength or agility most likely.

Speaker A: Otherwise it would totally depend on the guards how much they pay attention, if they pay attention, and whether or not there are other obstacles like piranha in the water or something like that.

Speaker C: Kill this guy and some other guys.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: Go over like without being seen by the intermediate guy. Like the towers, are they like far apart or can they see each other?

Speaker B: Oh, they definitely see each other.

Speaker C: Like easily. Like they communicate.

Speaker A: That's B. We would get right to the prison.

Speaker D: Having the scout say, hey, we found these people. Pull Star Wars.

Speaker C: I wonder if he would do that. Just gonna say that him here, he's.

Speaker B: Got no figure out what his name is. Not gonna be. Yeah, let's talk to him about how.

Speaker C: He goes in and out.

Speaker B: What's that? I say, he's like, yeah, if you guys want to be prisoners, you'd have to leave all your stuff behind now basically naked. No, otherwise you're not gonna. Otherwise they'll just strip. Advice from me in the prison or the pit because I brought people with weapons and crap on them and their gear as prisoners.

Speaker A: See you got a two handed sword. Can't really hide that as a staff.

Speaker C: No, see that sounds like the.

Speaker B: Maybe.

Speaker C: When it's on me not spelling.

Speaker A: A snapping your sword. And all of a sudden I've got the theme song for log running through my head. Sounds like a slinky.

Speaker B: Forgot about that. Damn. But the fort this big.

Speaker A: How about we spend one day and see if we can recognize shift changes.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: At least wait till nighttime. Yeah.

Speaker A: Do they leave the the gates open at night?

Speaker B: They leave the gates open at all?

Speaker A: Well they'd have to open in. Yeah but during the day I could see them leaving it open. Unless they're under attack.

Speaker B: No but at night if they leave.

Speaker A: Them open like you do like. No not like BD like they do at Braves Landing. With many guns on the towers.

Speaker B: Yeah. No I say they. They close the the gates at night. Okay then most of them are just open for or generally open so commerce can happen. And there'd be like the shift changes are like every four hours.

Speaker A: Does our guide know the name of any higher ups?

Speaker B: You killed my direct higher up. But. But a bug down there as far.

Speaker A: As a bluffable knee. That's what I'm kind of thinking.

Speaker B: I don't think we're getting in.

Speaker C: Nuts.

Speaker D: Not stealthy.

Speaker A: Not by any standard needs.

Speaker B: It's like Captain Ryan is with my superior superior.

Speaker C: I lost evil could be fun.

Speaker B: It's like you either probably either need to go as prisoners go over the wall at night or posing local town the the warriors.

Speaker A: Is there any special thing that makes them stand out as far as like enemy combatants. Do they all wear a red neckerchief for.

Speaker C: Red in the middle of the.

Speaker A: Forehead like red sashes.

Speaker B: They have a. They're more dressed like like officer type uniforms. They look better equipped than the people you fought.

Speaker A: We were sent to send aid. Prisoners might have escaped.

Speaker D: We go on as townspeople. Do they care if we have weapons or is the townspeople ain't about to go in whatever they have question for.

Speaker C: The scout.

Speaker B: Like the obvious stuff. They would probably not be very happy.

Speaker D: But people wearing their like regular guns.

Speaker B: And knives and stuff.

Speaker D: My stuff looks normal.

Speaker B: They don't mind too much but obviously troublemaking.

Speaker C: But like a great sword.

Speaker B: He nods Yep. That would probably be confiscated at the door to the left.

Speaker A: Rifle wouldn't stand out and the mage is a weapon so I don't know if.

Speaker B: Well they would have no way to do it. Most of these people would be like normal magic's not that known.

Speaker A: So you just have to figure out a way to hide your slinky to.

Speaker C: Wrap it up and drain the guy on a stretcher.

Speaker A: It's a buster sword.

Speaker D: You can do that? We can make a stretcher and have your sword and the guy in the.

Speaker A: Middle.

Speaker C: He'S laying on it.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: Work for me but it Might just take the guy to my sword into the thing and say, get out of here.

Speaker A: Medic. This guy doesn't need a medic.

Speaker C: Must be like get snuck in in someone's wagon or something on his phone. CEOs want to come in with our stuff. Unless we just go over the wall. Yeah.

Speaker A: Merchant scenario. I don't know if we have enough money on hand or if our threat could be greater than what they would experience going through the gate.

Speaker C: Sorry, what was that?

Speaker A: If we were dealing with like a merchant's wagon, I don't know if we have enough money or if we could make a big enough threat.

Speaker D: To.

Speaker A: To have them maintain composure and not as they're going through.

Speaker C: Say.

Speaker A: Yeah, I got three guys, five guys hanging out in the back of my wagon you might be interested in. But instead of the guy we trying to vegetation for this area that they would use, is there anything like hung on a vine stretcher idea. But instead it would be fruit or meat. It's a little too wide otherwise I'd say we slide it through, have the boar's legs tied.

Speaker C: Are there any tall buildings outside the castle?

Speaker B: No. Everything that would be below the wall was single story. Thinking if we could get creative, that would make it easier to like you could probably jump from a roof to the wall, but. But yeah, nothing's taller than the wall outside of it. Then most of the stuff outside is like. Would be like just like single story. Like farmer farmer buildings and stuff like that.

Speaker A: Roughly how big is this place?

Speaker B: There's around like 3,000 people in it.

Speaker A: Like if we started a major fire on a log or something and sent it down one side, would it cause a green confidence distraction for us to.

Speaker C: Come in on the other?

Speaker A: A log or flaming arrows or whatever.

Speaker D: Something to make a fire.

Speaker B: Said building.

Speaker A: I don't think we could dam the river, but that would be fun too.

Speaker B: No, you would get spotted.

Speaker C: Damn.

Speaker B: You never forget.

Speaker D: Like three weeks enough traffic that would.

Speaker B: Go up and down the river. Just see damage.

Speaker D: The chalk down make a difference.

Speaker C: I was thinking like a.

Speaker A: A flaming V. I don't know. Something that would create a distraction and pull them away from one side so.

Speaker C: That we can go in on the other people. I would just say you set fire to a building.

Speaker A: Well, the walls are wood, but I'm not sure how well they would burn. And I don't really want to set you in to have you pick a fight so that we can sl in on the other side.

Speaker C: I mean, I don't know. There's like 100 plus troops in here.

Speaker B: That's like 2/3 troop. So it's like 2 legions are here. Yeah. Yeah. It's a military base. Stealth is your best. It's your best option.

Speaker D: Go over the wall at night.

Speaker B: Either go over the wall or you.

Speaker D: Pose as we do that when moving.

Speaker B: Photos and just go through the gate like normal people.

Speaker A: I need you to create them.

Speaker B: You just have to make sure your non like rifles and fiscal weapons are basically either non exist or non existent or hidden well enough that you pass the check.

Speaker A: They used to carry stuff on a stretcher. You have the two poles. We could do that with the great sword.

Speaker B: Yep.

Speaker A: And just load all our gear on it.

Speaker D: All my stuff is small. I have a staff.

Speaker B: And then said Ivy because they'll probably. They will rifle through some of it.

Speaker C: Wow.

Speaker B: Especially if you don't have a mark that says you've been here before.

Speaker A: What does that look like? Is it like a clay tablet?

Speaker B: Is some token you get from people in charge.

Speaker A: Counterfeiting is so hard when you don't know what you need to counterfeit.

Speaker B: Yeah. He like kind of like describes it but it's like a metal coin with like a rune on it.

Speaker C: Not anything we found searching bodies.

Speaker B: No. So those are soldiers. Because they would have. Their uniforms would have been enough to have them go through anyways.

Speaker C: I could put you up on something but yeah.

Speaker A: We didn't strip any of them. We just sent them out into the. In the forest.

Speaker C: There's dead ones but they're always away.

Speaker B: Two days away. They're probably eaten by now. Probably. The dead ones are probably gone by now.

Speaker C: We could have our our mounts causing.

Speaker A: Distraction.

Speaker C: On the other side town so we can go over a wall. They could screw up a ruckus.

Speaker A: Oh let them just create chaos for fun and profit.

Speaker C: Tell them go on the other side of town. Scare some people and don't eat anybody. As many of them that send guards to that side of the city.

Speaker D: That be cool.

Speaker A: You tripping me getting enough garbage.

Speaker B: Honestly you're not placed this place is big enough that you wouldn't be able resources from off the wall said it was thousands. Yeah. There's like 3,000 people here.

Speaker D: Okay.

Speaker A: 2,000 of them are warriors.

Speaker C: So.

Speaker B: So yeah. You need to either go in on the near disguises as people or wait till night and climb the wall. Probably. Or swim the river at night because you would probably get spotted swimming up the.

Speaker A: What you doing? I'm washing my shell.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: At this point if we're pretending to be locals using your sword as a A cart almost drag drag behind and loading all our gear on would probably be the only way to get your sword in.

Speaker C: I don't want to necessarily risk it.

Speaker A: I lean towards floating down a lot river. How is there any major battlefronts upstream from here.

Speaker B: Like not really.

Speaker A: You have a few dead bodies floating down the river. We could probably blend in.

Speaker B: Oh yeah. That that wouldn't. That would probably raise eyebrows more than anything Bodies can float.

Speaker A: No.

Speaker B: If the war was oh they're. You're too far. You're where this is located on the the map your days from the front.

Speaker A: Oh okay then that's. That's definitely not.

Speaker B: Yeah no this is like where they like their main depot or one of the main fronts for or their one of their main forts for this war that they started with the Whispering Marshes. The other one is west by a half a day or a day ride.

Speaker C: We're either posing or sneaking or swimming.

Speaker D: I'm fine with posing because I got the most chance of getting in without okay the druid could just turn him.

Speaker B: A spider hides in.

Speaker C: What'S our reason.

Speaker B: For bar.

Speaker D: There'S townspeople want them to buy stuff if they have markets.

Speaker B: There are some markets in there.

Speaker D: My bard has they won't take anything from him. He just has his flute.

Speaker A: If we make him the leader you can be the bodyguard for the troop mage would be part of the the troop go through his traveling.

Speaker B: Yep Hard a whip.

Speaker D: It's a secondary so it's probably whatever.

Speaker B: Making both yeah they wouldn't care too much about that.

Speaker D: This other one's just magic.

Speaker B: So what about my shotgun?

Speaker A: That's why you're the bodyguard.

Speaker B: The regular guns aren't an issue Stuff that's like obviously meant for fighting. Most everyone here has a gun of some kind usually like a revolver engine and or a shotgun or rifle on their back because of the wildlife.

Speaker A: So that will blend the shotgun we'd.

Speaker B: Be okay.

Speaker A: Have your talent care for your great sword.

Speaker D: Tell them can I stand here by hitting.

Speaker C: Yeah we have do we have distance telepathy with our talents.

Speaker B: Yeah go more and more go buy.

Speaker A: Some clothes Acting troop or minstrel troop? I don't know sort of show where we doing.

Speaker C: Well I guess I would ask the guy like if we stole the other weapons like can we lock in as.

Speaker B: We are doing to blend in.

Speaker C: We were just buying stuff in town as traders.

Speaker B: I don't think we trade on your people anymore.

Speaker A: We need to get a set of clothes.

Speaker D: Where do we even get a set of clothes?

Speaker C: That's what I'm asking is, dude, can we just walk in as traders? But it sounds like they're stealing our people.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: They may not necessarily want to trade.

Speaker D: But.

Speaker B: So I said, yeah, you guys need to get like a disguise to go in or go over the wall or swim the river hill or start a fight, I guess.

Speaker C: See how far you make with 2000 people.

Speaker A: Always wanted to have a mighty battle.

Speaker C: I'm gonna need at least 100 times the stress.

Speaker A: I want one stress per where you're in place.

Speaker B: Yeah. My armor.

Speaker D: So I'm gonna take their clothes, look.

Speaker B: Around and see if we find someone on clothesline somewhere. Yeah. Or sneak in and steal stuff from the house.

Speaker C: Doesn't even find a market out.

Speaker B: Gotta roll to find out.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: Catch a merchant. We were robbed. We have no clothes. Don't mind the. The naked bodies running across the screen. Can we.

Speaker D: My guys are sneaky and like steel stuff.

Speaker A: I think you could taco merchant out of some clothes or buying a set.

Speaker D: Of all the merchants I think are insane.

Speaker A: Well, no, they're coming through the gates, especially up towards the north.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: But if we came across the path and it's like we got robbed.

Speaker B: Try it.

Speaker D: If a merchant comes back.

Speaker A: Probably need to get some distance from the town.

Speaker C: Maybe about half day.

Speaker B: Half a day.

Speaker D: Well do like 500ft full distance from the gate. A mile. Just out of sight of the gate outside.

Speaker B: And then.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker A: The good nature of the. The merchant had one coin in my boot.

Speaker B: That's the only thing they didn't take.

Speaker D: I have a handful of coins.

Speaker B: I guess what you started. Yeah.

Speaker D: Yep.

Speaker C: That literally a handful of golden.

Speaker D: Yeah, that's how they have handfuls. And I just marked. Then you go up to bags and then you go to the chest as the final.

Speaker C: No, it actually is marked with.

Speaker B: Just.

Speaker C: Throw money at you.

Speaker B: Right.

Speaker C: Where are you gonna search for clothes to steal or buy.

Speaker D: Yeah. Or you buy them. Unless there's a clothesline.

Speaker B: Look around.

Speaker D: I go, let's go down, see if we find any clothes anywhere.

Speaker C: Wait till night.

Speaker A: And unfortunately all the others are two days away.

Speaker B: We didn't kill him.

Speaker A: We just stripped him down to nothing and sent him into the woods.

Speaker D: Yep.

Speaker B: Oh, so you guys wait until night.

Speaker D: To look for clothes? Are you looking?

Speaker B: I look during the day.

Speaker C: Is it weird for us to be.

Speaker B: Walking around dressed like you are?

Speaker D: I'd just be along the perimeter looking at whatever in all these houses. Okay.

Speaker A: And if you don't find any over the wall we go.

Speaker D: All right.

Speaker B: Yep.

Speaker A: As you wrap your sword with cloth to make sure it doesn't seem too.

Speaker C: Much once it's off this side.

Speaker D: Who's looking and how are you looking?

Speaker A: Would that be an instinct?

Speaker B: I think so.

Speaker D: Let's see things now.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Figuring either that or knowledge. We expect there to be closed here.

Speaker B: Yep. So being average rule.

Speaker D: So I need a 15 or better.

Speaker B: 18. Yeah. It's an AC. It's weird. But I already have fear, so I'm maxed out.

Speaker A: I'm torn with this. He's maxed out with fear.

Speaker B: All right. And then you were looking. Or was it this?

Speaker A: I wasn't sure if it would be a. A group type thing, but yeah.

Speaker D: Divide and conquer.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker A: No, it's.

Speaker B: Yeah. Oh, hold on.

Speaker D: Wait.

Speaker B: Hold on. Make sure you guys are. So Drew is going out looking for clothes too.

Speaker C: I. I would.

Speaker B: Wait.

Speaker A: He can be a spider. Nobody's going to see him.

Speaker D: There'll be a cat. Run around as a cat.

Speaker A: The wolf runs underneath the clothes line and takes off his clothes.

Speaker D: And I may notice the wolf.

Speaker B: Animal.

Speaker D: Just blends in here.

Speaker B: Don't you have the family? The pet animal?

Speaker D: Yeah. That's why I can't. Household friend.

Speaker B: Cat. Don't ring it. Be a cat.

Speaker D: All right.

Speaker B: With that success with fear, you find. You find clothes. And as you're running off with them, lady comes out. Teenage girl comes out and starts yelling at you. The cat. Kitty.

Speaker D: Get over here.

Speaker B: Drop those clothes, and she starts chasing you.

Speaker D: Keep running. All right.

Speaker B: Give me an agility roll. Take it away.

Speaker D: 17 with hope.

Speaker B: Make distance and get away to the bushes with clothes.

Speaker C: How many clothes can a cat get away with?

Speaker D: I'll say.

Speaker B: That was. That'd be one set.

Speaker D: It's gonna be one.

Speaker B: Because it would be hard for house cat to drag off more than one set of clothes. That's what. Assume that's what you are.

Speaker D: Yeah, that's what I said I would.

Speaker A: I guess we should go.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Find your own.

Speaker D: Marge is gonna go out and look around for his own clothes.

Speaker B: You can go. Keep going as they cat. I'm just saying. You. Yeah. One set of clothes.

Speaker D: You will both just go out.

Speaker B: So for the. Or for the. For going out as a person. That's gonna make it a scene of 20 of parts.

Speaker D: That's not possible because you're lucky you're dressed up. Just be my druid then.

Speaker B: In your tribal clothes. Yep.

Speaker D: I'll just be a druid.

Speaker B: 13.

Speaker D: With beer.

Speaker B: Same room.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker B: I was gonna say you find another house.

Speaker D: We're just gonna have to go over the wall.

Speaker B: Why are you guys being like, is everybody just Annoyed with this scenario. What's going on?

Speaker C: I'm trying to figure out like the best way to do stuff.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker B: Because I mentioned like three ways you can do it. Yeah. No, it's just feel like everyone's getting annoyed here.

Speaker A: It's the prep. It's like how do we do this without. So I'd probably. While you're doing that, I've got you.

Speaker D: Like six rolls just for the druid to do it.

Speaker B: Or would you rather just be like no one roll or what? Like because we can change it.

Speaker D: No, I'm just saying it's six roles.

Speaker A: And so it's where you'd start looking for people that are foraging for food in the forest.

Speaker C: Drugged memory. Why are your clothes bloody?

Speaker A: To ask or just make them a deal. It's like you're doing subsistence farming. You're looking for mushrooms. I'll pay you a coin for your clothes.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: I mean if we're going to do clothes in the daylight, the. The Drew's the only one that can do it. But do it at night and be sneaking. That's still dangerous.

Speaker D: People leave their clothes at night.

Speaker B: Yeah. Maybe this time of year they probably would because it is just hot here. Like that's the hot time of the year.

Speaker C: The clothes aren't dry. They're going to stay up.

Speaker A: We don't want bridges. We could probably.

Speaker B: And what do they call that?

Speaker A: A wrap. Single sheet.

Speaker D: Andrew was just grabbing with Eric. So figuring out in the mess.

Speaker A: Send.

Speaker C: A talent.

Speaker A: They want Jack. Could be interesting.

Speaker C: Better. Better at hiding than I would be.

Speaker A: The talent runs through the town taking out clotheslines.

Speaker C: The bushes. He's got like eight things of clothes.

Speaker B: For the whole wardrobe. No, I'm not annoyed actually.

Speaker C: Just figure it out.

Speaker A: I kind of like that idea. Town runs through the farm over here.

Speaker C: Delivers a co op.

Speaker A: The clothes over on the other side of town closer to the prison where we want to go in anyway.

Speaker C: They might be able to stealth it.

Speaker B: A talon wouldn't stealth it. But it would. You can definitely run around and grab those and cause a distraction.

Speaker C: I think it'll be obvious though that closer.

Speaker A: Oh yeah. Because you're caught on all the spikes on the back of the talon.

Speaker C: Yeah. I'm just saying like that they would be checking people up because of course.

Speaker B: No, they're not. That would be. That's way too paranoid.

Speaker A: Does any other group ride talons other than the nooks?

Speaker B: No, they're basically native to the whispering marshes.

Speaker A: So they'd be like announcing our presence.

Speaker B: Yeah. No, no, not. It wouldn't because they run around as they're packs by themselves. It doesn't mean there's not always humans attached to them. All right. That would be. That would be pretty. I'd say fairly new.

Speaker C: But when it gets darker I'm going to send go ahead and grab some quotes out there.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker A: I'll send line two.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: If we send two or three it'll appear more of a path.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: The talon pack is moving through the.

Speaker C: Area with the intent of if it's darker. Trying to be sneaky.

Speaker A: Snipping out looking for food.

Speaker C: We could have some fun with it.

Speaker B: Like I say the talons won't be able to like stealth anywhere near the wall or the town. But they can run her through and get. Because they're too big but they can run around and grab whole clotheslines down and drag stuff into the. Yeah.

Speaker C: I was thinking like outlier houses or something where they can jump out of the trees, run over, grab it and get back into the bushes.

Speaker A: Are there any food warehouses or storage or is it all out here?

Speaker B: Would just be basically like just the farmers houses so that can't afford or got pushed out of the fort.

Speaker A: There's a smokehouse. Get yourself a treat while you're making clotheslines.

Speaker B: Oh.

Speaker C: Yeah. And you guys want keep searching with intruder. Have the talents go after something.

Speaker A: For speed. I'm liking him talents do it and then meet over on the north side.

Speaker C: When we interact with our talents. What kind of role is that?

Speaker B: That's when you're telling to do something. It's either instinct or spell casting role. Let's make this a group role.

Speaker C: What's that?

Speaker A: My caster uses instinct.

Speaker C: Probably better than.

Speaker B: Yeah so yeah whoever whichever character's talent you're doing I guess pick someone do the the final roll.

Speaker D: You can okay the final row.

Speaker A: How many talons are running through.

Speaker B: So that's two.

Speaker C: My warriors.

Speaker A: He probably said okay but.

Speaker C: Tell him.

Speaker A: You follow that one.

Speaker D: Send them out.

Speaker B: Oh yeah. So this would just be for telling him to go get closed at the clothesline. That would just be an easy task for them. So you just need a 10. So everybody whoever's sending their talent out rolls. Yes.

Speaker A: It's a class one.

Speaker C: Do you cope with fear on it?

Speaker B: No. These are just reaction roles. There will be open open fear on final roll.

Speaker D: Druid failed and barn passed.

Speaker C: I passed three plus your ten plus two.

Speaker B: Yeah that's true.

Speaker A: 18, 19, 20 with hope.

Speaker B: So yep. So yeah. So your talents.

Speaker D: Pack up and run.

Speaker B: Through the shanty town ripping off clothes and you Guys went to the north side of the town. Yeah. Obviously, you wouldn't hear anything. Yeah. So you guys would be in the north, partially checking in.

Speaker C: How's it going?

Speaker A: We haven't done anything this fun in a long time.

Speaker C: Did I ask?

Speaker B: Yeah. Because this would just be play for them. Actually, pretty much everything they do is. Yes. So. Yeah. So they rush. Rush through everything, rip off clothes, and then when they loop back up to you, about 15, 20 minutes later, it's like a whole ton of clothes would be. And they. And they do tell you a hunting party has been dispatched. They're trying to get us. They're kind of doing their weird, like, deep venom. Chuckling.

Speaker A: Well, now we can fix clothes of our size.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: Wait till daytime.

Speaker C: Should go in.

Speaker B: As a girl.

Speaker A: With your husky voice, this should be interesting.

Speaker B: I would say if you like, depending you guys, if you. You could have, like, an evening or whatever before the gates are closed if you want to. Like, if you sent them that order. Sent him during the middle of the day. That doesn't. Yeah.

Speaker A: Yeah. If the sun's still up, then he'd be getting on the clothes and approaching the gate and tell them to hide out. Drive the hunting party wild.

Speaker B: It.

Speaker C: I guess it, like, choose the great sword on one of them.

Speaker A: Yeah. Tell to stick near for your call.

Speaker C: Could you meet it other than avoiding the hunting party?

Speaker A: Do these walls wrap all the way around?

Speaker B: Yeah. You guys just weren't able to, like, get and, like, scout around that, but yeah. The whole place is walled. Yep. So as you guys approach the north side gate guard, see the archers, riflemen or whatever upper at the top. And you kind of see other people, like, shuffling in quickly, too, because it is. The sun's going. Sun starting to. We'll say the sun's starting to set, and then they're kind of just like, checking people as you guys come through. You just ask what your business is.

Speaker D: Welcome to pick up supplies.

Speaker A: Have you not heard of the famous bug?

Speaker D: No, I'm not doing. No, I'm not doing menstrual common folk.

Speaker A: Who would have given you the nicer clothes.

Speaker D: There's a town somewhere else we could travel to. That's what his story would just be like. Oh, we're just traveling through, staying here.

Speaker B: For the night.

Speaker D: And looking out, picking up supplies and food and rest.

Speaker A: Once we pass through to whatever the name of the other town is.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker B: It'D be like the fort would be to the west where you're going to the railroad. I'd be happy. All right. I mean, tell like they're like they are watching like everyone that comes in kind of glancing at them a little bit. And then you guys get through the gate.

Speaker D: Come on.

Speaker A: That's when we go out.

Speaker B: You just imagine. Yeah, the, the main bazaar is just down the. Down the street.

Speaker D: Franklin, not drag me.

Speaker B: Start heading down there and as you. And there's. There's quite a lot of people still like funneling in or I guess activity on the streets. Then you guys, the prison is right. So this is the, the Dusk Bazaar and it's kind of like an open like strip mall slash market stalls. Also partly kind of like the farmer's market kind of like it's all open. All kinds of normal items. And then there's also some specialty stalls that sell some interesting things. And then this is the prison right here.

Speaker C: Which is.

Speaker B: Which is about 25 by 45 meters wide and long. And it looks like it's a one story building.

Speaker A: Did we bring the guide in with us?

Speaker D: You wanted to go.

Speaker B: That's kind of up to you guys. I guess if you brought him with you and gave him different clothes so he wasn't, you know, I want to bring him in. Dress like a soldier.

Speaker D: Unless you wanted to somebody recognized.

Speaker B: He.

Speaker D: May not want to come.

Speaker A: Depends on how he feels on the war too.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: His greatest thing says sliced bread. Well, maybe not.

Speaker C: So is the prison just like a pen or is it like a full on covered building? So it was one story?

Speaker B: Yeah, it was like. It's one story and it's. Yeah, it's made out of like stacked bricks and glass lanterns lighted up.

Speaker C: The.

Speaker A: Doors on the outside or the inside?

Speaker B: So we mean the doors, a bunch.

Speaker A: Of doors on the outside so that they can have easy access to the prisoners. Or is it more of a courtyard?

Speaker B: No, there's like one door in and all you guys can see is like there's like some barred windows and like a main entrance. Okay. And there's no guards outside. You'd seen some foot patrols of like six soldiers.

Speaker C: Are there people in the market?

Speaker B: Right. Yep. That's been getting. That's busy.

Speaker A: What sort of wall is.

Speaker B: That's the Citadel. Same kind of wall. 13 foot tall, wooden stone.

Speaker A: Feeling like I'm trying to do a heist and I haven't put the proper amount of time in to research what I'm trying to.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: I imagine they don't have a sewer system or.

Speaker D: Or do.

Speaker C: They.

Speaker B: Certainly could. I mean plumbing existed but I mean.

Speaker A: Large enough caverns like break into the prison from underneath, get the people out.

Speaker B: Yeah. It is 1800. They had sewers existed.

Speaker C: Where's the.

Speaker B: I mean, it had subways.

Speaker C: True. Where's the door that you see? Is it on the side next to the bazaar?

Speaker B: I say that that's not relevant. Okay. It just has a single door.

Speaker C: I was thinking from terms of like, if there's patrols going by, if they're specific to the prison going around it, or if they're just.

Speaker B: No, it's just city guard patrols.

Speaker A: I'm having Warhammer flashbacks of Rat killing.

Speaker C: Other people looking down on it from above. In the citadel, there's like.

Speaker B: Oh, yeah. I mean, there's some gardeners similar. Like the rifleman's up top. I think Aaron, he said Steve came up with the plan to execute it. Yeah, I'm fine with that.

Speaker A: Have we found a way into it?

Speaker B: Say, that's just. Would come down to, like, roles on how difficult. Take it. Find your way through the sewer. I don't know if you find anything in the sewer, but you may know that.

Speaker C: What a lovely spell you discovered.

Speaker B: It wouldn't be hard to, like, get.

Speaker A: Into the sewer society that lives on.

Speaker B: Beans and rice and corn.

Speaker A: Beans and rice.

Speaker C: Was that Trinity is my knees at the. He eats beans and rice in that film a lot. And there's. He actually. For the scene I actually chose to, like, not eat for like 24 hours before he did. The scene of eating.

Speaker A: It does.

Speaker C: It's a good western. Go through the sewers.

Speaker D: Gotta find a manhole way in and.

Speaker A: Figure out whether or not we're actually underneath the prison area.

Speaker B: Yep.

Speaker A: They haven't been here for long, so they should be in. Still in fairly good shape as far as moving. It's not like they're totally emaciated and they've been there for three years, so they're not. Yeah, rainwater and what they can catch.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker C: Are we going back out then? What are we finding?

Speaker A: We've got to do it in the city because we don't know where it drains out of the city.

Speaker D: Yeah, okay. Drains in the river.

Speaker B: Well, the.

Speaker A: The talents are.

Speaker D: I don't know.

Speaker A: Patent mouse with a problem, though. I would have them pay attention. If they get closer up to the wall to see if. Where it would.

Speaker B: I would say no. It would drain into the. Into the.

Speaker C: So don't fill your water flask south of the city.

Speaker D: Someone else's problem.

Speaker A: Where is the pit they were talking about? I would visualize this great big, massive meteor strike of a pit in there.

Speaker B: Oh, they were. When they, like, described it to you, it was like Maybe like only like a dozen foot or less like diameter. It's not like a huge fit. It's like enough to throw a few people into at a time.

Speaker A: I don't want to be in the sewer and play dark crystal and poke that a hole.

Speaker C: I guess walking around the bazaar. Can we see like sewer.

Speaker B: Dense periodically. It wouldn't be hard to find like a manhole to get into the sewer. It's not lost on me that I.

Speaker C: Look like a ninja turtle. And we're gonna go into the secret.

Speaker A: So what we'll probably want to do is find an in at this point, rest up for the night and then into the sewers once things are quiet. No go into the end sooner rather than later. Then in the wee hours of the morning when patrols are scarce and everything. Then go into the sewer.

Speaker C: Sure.

Speaker A: So as not to get attention.

Speaker C: Hey look everybody. I'm breaking up. Get attention for being the only people on the street.

Speaker A: That's why the end has to be close to the park where you want to go in.

Speaker B: I'll say just walking around, you'd find one that's like in an alley.

Speaker D: But.

Speaker B: Flip in through or just do that. Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker C: I only have one fist full of gold, man.

Speaker B: I wouldn't imagine. Oh unless you guys are doing recon, I don't think I would imagine you guys would want to stay here.

Speaker A: No.

Speaker B: Is very long.

Speaker D: All right.

Speaker B: Dirty man.

Speaker C: Hope that's good.

Speaker B: Yeah. Yep. You're down in there.

Speaker A: Once you bend bars and lift gates.

Speaker B: Put it back.

Speaker C: Just lift to the code.

Speaker B: Yeah. So I guess who wants to leave the party under parents blowing the sewer and looking for the present.

Speaker A: Would that be instinct? For actual.

Speaker B: I mean probably instinct or maybe knowledge. Let's see. Yeah. Instinct or knowledge would be fine for me. I'll back whoever that is up.

Speaker C: But I'm not the guy to guide the maze.

Speaker D: I can be the druid or sorcerer.

Speaker A: Yeah. If it's instinct to figure out how.

Speaker C: It'S laid out game properties of the animal. Like in general or do you have a limited set of animals that you.

Speaker D: Can be only have the sick.

Speaker B: I mean they get.

Speaker C: And you have good smellers find out where the fresh air is coming from.

Speaker B: The fresh air. And also like you could smell out your people.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: Dog.

Speaker D: There's track going on. The fish gets navigating fish in the surrounding.

Speaker B: She's the fish to find that animal.

Speaker A: That's even worse than discovering a new smell. Sucking it in.

Speaker B: To find the people to find the prison. No.

Speaker D: I'm been distressed and turn Into a wolf.

Speaker B: Do that and then you guys do have can spend hope that helping out. Yeah. If that makes sense. Spend the hope depending on like how you're helping them.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: Now good dog.

Speaker B: You get bit. As long as the help makes sense. Like I have to describe how you're helping them.

Speaker C: Bend down with my armpit right next to his nose.

Speaker D: That may get worse.

Speaker C: There's your say. Gotta find our people. They smell like us.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: It needs to be a strong scent.

Speaker B: Does that give you bonus or you.

Speaker D: Get advantage contract.

Speaker A: Morale support. But the sarcasm wouldn't be there because that's the personality.

Speaker C: With the advantage.

Speaker D: Yep.

Speaker B: When fear we're not alone down here. Yeah. I'd say it tastes like you probably guys probably wander around down there for two hours until you find a great person. Could like is like just big enough for a personally squeeze through. That is coming out from under like that is from the prison area and it is barred.

Speaker D: How strong are you?

Speaker C: I should try to rip it out. Might make noise. Swimmers make noise. I'll try to see if like if any of the bars are loose at all.

Speaker B: I don't have anything that can.

Speaker C: Try.

Speaker B: To like.

Speaker C: How many is there multiple.

Speaker B: Bars or is it a grid or. Yeah, I'd say it's like the pretty standard. Like there's a bunch of bars. You'd have to like pull each one out. Yeah. It will just be a single roll though.

Speaker A: I'd help you with that.

Speaker B: Spend the hmm.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker B: Oh, see a 20. Yeah. 20.

Speaker A: I have faith in you. I spend my hope for you. That gives you advantage.

Speaker B: So.

Speaker C: Oh, 36.

Speaker B: Plus you also have the inspiration from the bard that you need.

Speaker C: To add to the actually 21, 23 with Hope.

Speaker B: Nice. Yep. I say it takes a while but with the. With the two of you you eventually are able to rip out the. Rip the bars out of the mortar fitments old and not well maintained. And then yeah, you climb up into there. If you kind of. You guys find yourselves like under the. Under like the main lake, I guess. Under under like the latrine like where they just like dump the latrines and it just smells like urine and sweat in here and decay. And you can see that like the mortar down here and everything is like kind of like rotten.

Speaker A: Pitted from uric acid.

Speaker B: But yeah, there's like grates above you or like the toilet holes I guess. Actually.

Speaker A: About how high up?

Speaker B: Probably only about like like three or four feet. So like you guys would like having to like rip open those doors and basically like crawl in here and Then like, crawl out of latrine.

Speaker C: Is it big enough for me to stick my head up and look around?

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: I like, carefully kind of like, start to go to, like, one end. To kind of carefully look up, to, like, look down.

Speaker B: As you just. As your eyes across the way, you see someone sitting there, and their eyes go really big.

Speaker C: Is it the prisoner?

Speaker B: Yeah, very much. Like, they're like a haggard.

Speaker C: They just see me go. It's like, motion for him to come over.

Speaker B: I like that because he's, like, sitting up.

Speaker C: I go down. I go over to the toilet next to him.

Speaker B: Here we go.

Speaker C: It's like.

Speaker B: I don't know.

Speaker A: This is the bottom floor.

Speaker B: It's like, two floors above me. Okay.

Speaker C: Does he look like one of us?

Speaker B: It'd be hard to tell. He's, like, covered in, like, dirt and stuff. He may just be. He's just a prisoner.

Speaker A: The tree's not exactly well lit.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: I guess I would ask him, see if he, like, mentions a tribe or something.

Speaker B: How is he? Obviously he's from Shadow from here, but there's not very many. They don't really guard down here. You can't get out. All right.

Speaker C: I would tell them that. Something to the effect that in derogatory terms, like, it's a crap job, but it's better than living here.

Speaker B: I'd rather live in the sewer thing. Might find food.

Speaker C: So just to the side, I guess. As we're, like, coming through the sewers, our plan to get them out, we want to, like, have them basically slowly work their way into the bathroom, like, a couple at a time and disappear.

Speaker D: Out. The guards. What's that? Or we take out the guards. They're not that many.

Speaker C: Can we tell from the outside if the roof is open to the guards on the citadel?

Speaker B: No, the. The. That building was just like a stone, like brick. Yeah.

Speaker D: Okay.

Speaker B: And now that you're, like, in the bottom, you realize that, like, I was imagining it was open.

Speaker C: So I was asking, like, how many guards are inside?

Speaker B: I don't know. Like, only a couple person. They don't even have guards down here. Nobody gets out. Only way out is the way you. Well, I guess the way. The way I came in, there's only.

Speaker D: One door, but there are guards in the building.

Speaker B: There might be a patrol down here, but.

Speaker C: Yeah, talking.

Speaker B: A couple.

Speaker C: 10 patrols.

Speaker B: No, we like you to get food. And then, like, as you're talking, like, another, like, person just, like, comes into the bathroom.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: He sees the same thing. The finger comes up above the lip.

Speaker B: He, like, freaks out. And then like takes off. He's like. And then he runs off.

Speaker C: All right. And I testify to go.

Speaker D: Punch through.

Speaker C: Yeah, start coming through.

Speaker B: I like.

Speaker C: I'll just keep like the whole toilet.

Speaker B: You know, Basically like. Yeah. Because it's just like a wood. The wood. It's just wood. And it's like so rotted that you're able to like keeping just like just pushing up through it. You're lucky you don't like fall in when you sit on them.

Speaker C: Circle everybody in.

Speaker B: And then like. Yeah. As you guys are climbing in, like 10 people come into the bathroom. Come into this like area. And as you're like in here, it is just like this 10 by 10 room with like one entrance. They all start like whispering, like, here.

Speaker C: You're gonna get us out. You're gonna rescue us with them, you know. How'd you get it here too? We're gonna go upstairs.

Speaker D: Oh, but.

Speaker C: But we need to find a way out of the sewers that goes out of the city.

Speaker B: And then some people.

Speaker C: I can't swim like a dog paddle.

Speaker A: Your name is Bob, is it?

Speaker C: So we should probably cover whatever stairs go up and send everybody down into the sewers that we can on this floor at least get them out. But we need to know the way out first.

Speaker A: Two prisoners that can act as guides in the prison.

Speaker B: Yeah. Well, they just were like, like, they're like. There's just a one stairwell down at the end.

Speaker A: Have you been in the epilogue?

Speaker C: Just gone through here.

Speaker B: When threw me down. We kind of. Kind of. We can kind of just move.

Speaker C: Anybody here a guy.

Speaker B: Just tense people.

Speaker D: To start gathering people until they come down the stairs.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker D: There's not that much people. They don't care.

Speaker B: Guards don't seem to care. Yeah. And then I guess I was like. When you're like, I guess crawling like in this, like when you're in the bathroom too. There was just like. He did finally like another like, oh, shoot. That was like another like. Yeah, it just like, wow. Falls like. It kind of like funnels it down into the very bottom where you're at. So you could crawl like if you wanted to try and climb. It's like I said, you guys. Actually it probably. It'd be like a square. Like a one foot tunnel that leads the second floor. Yeah. If you wanted to try. I don't think any go. I guess the tru. You could climb up, but. Oh my God.

Speaker A: At first I was just visualizing open holes straight up. It's like, man, that is a crap job on the bottom Floor. You get it all.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker C: Have you gotten any sense of like where the direction would have been to get out of the city?

Speaker B: Because you. You rolled with what fear on your.

Speaker D: Yes.

Speaker B: Yeah. No, I say you guys didn't find the way out towards the lake, but I'd say it's. He just assumed the sears. Like I said it all kind of like had like a mild like slope towards the river. Okay.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker C: Just tell people to start heading that way.

Speaker D: Druid could stay down with the hole, lead people out.

Speaker B: Yeah. If you want to like work on trying to find the way out, you can do that. While the rest of the group goes.

Speaker D: Be that helpful.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker C: Yeah. Sound like you were saying, have a.

Speaker D: Couple tell the others to start the.

Speaker C: Chain of slowly but surely, you know.

Speaker B: Rounding people up and then tell them.

Speaker C: To warn if the guards look like at them.

Speaker B: I'm just going to say as. As like some of you go out to like talk like to get people. You know. There's like. It is just like down here. It's like they kind of gave some privacy for the bathroom because like you realize it's like in a corner but then the rest is like basically just open. And then it's like solid like stone above you. And then like at the opposite end is like a. Basically kind of like an airlock that goes to a set of stairs that goes up like a stone stairwell that goes up. So yeah, you. I guess that would need to get breached.

Speaker A: What type of door is it?

Speaker C: It's just.

Speaker B: It's like metal bars. It's just like a.

Speaker C: To get to the second level.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Is it well built, still sturdy, or is it decaying?

Speaker B: Like it's decaying like everything down like in here. Like if you're seeing the brick and stuff, it's decaying and worn out. So it'll be.

Speaker A: How hard would it be to pick the lock?

Speaker B: So that would be a finesse move. So if you want to try and pick the lock.

Speaker A: The mage actually had two ways to go and one of them was that shadow skill, which is almost a pick a mundane lock for free. Thought about taking it, but Mar has zero.

Speaker B: Yeah, either. I guess either. Pick it opener, rip it off the wall.

Speaker A: Ripping it off the wall is probably going to be noisy unless it's so crumbly that it really is serving.

Speaker B: That's really good. That would more like come down to the roll of what it did when.

Speaker A: He ink off or.

Speaker B: Yeah. Or xps.

Speaker A: Let's. What's your target?

Speaker C: Am I in info?

Speaker A: I've got 17 hope I was gonna.

Speaker B: Say it would be just an average lock. It's nothing fancy. So it'd just be a 15 instead of 17 with hope would be enough to pick it open.

Speaker A: Stick something in. Trying to open it quietly. Is it just enough to get in? I'm not trying to open it the rest of the way because it's too noisy.

Speaker C: Yep.

Speaker B: So yeah. So you like go in there and you can go up the stairs to the next level and it's just this like a same thing. And then like the stairs still keep going up. You can go all the way up if you wanted.

Speaker C: If you.

Speaker A: Are they individual cells with doors or is it just kind of an open ledge of.

Speaker B: It's just an open. So you like go to the next level and like someone notices you and they like start whispering and so like all these people like start. Because you don't look like a guard. Start like coming up.

Speaker C: I'd be like guiding them down.

Speaker B: That thing. So they're behind a locked door too. So you have to either break it or pick it to get. They get that door. But yeah they start whispering. You see like some tribe people in there. And then there would be one more floor up. Was like kind of like the same.

Speaker A: With them being actually kind of behind us. It's. Who has the key. Does any patrol have the key or is it only held by.

Speaker B: They only bring keys when they're. When they're taking people in or out.

Speaker A: How many doors are we talking about rolling to pick?

Speaker B: Just two more.

Speaker C: Oh, just two more doors.

Speaker B: Second, third or I guess a third one. If you want to go up to the first floor. Where the. Where the surface is which. That's where guards and stuff are.

Speaker A: Are there any cells on the first floor?

Speaker B: I'd say there. There would be a potential. There would be some up there.

Speaker C: Okay.

Speaker A: As far as the people that are already in the prison. Do they remember there being.

Speaker B: I'd say none of them could. No one would know because it's like a sectioned off. That would be like high value. Let's see. That's what they would tell you is like that's where the VIP prisoners are.

Speaker C: Okay.

Speaker B: We're just been drags that are probably get shipped off or that. Yeah. It's in this. We're like the holding tanks to be shipped off or unscripted.

Speaker A: So yeah. Pick the next door.

Speaker D: To me.

Speaker B: Yeah. So I'll just be TN15s.

Speaker A: Got 15 but it's fearful. That's only 18 inch months.

Speaker B: Yeah. So you pop it open. People are like chattering and making some noise too. All start funneling down. Yeah. And they start like, kind of like blood started. The.

Speaker A: The new people I'm seeing off this next Flora. I asked them about the first floor and if there's any prisoners up there and. And what they know.

Speaker B: They're like, I don't. Don't know.

Speaker A: And then it also be. How many guards are usually on the first floor. Do you hear voices or.

Speaker B: I said you wouldn't get any like very valuable information. They're wildly like anywhere from like 2 to 20.

Speaker C: Nobody knows.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: Pushing our left. Go out there. So they alert the city then.

Speaker B: So you've. Yeah, you. You've done the bottom floor and the second floor. Then there's one more prisoner floor and then there's the actual like top floor.

Speaker A: Have we accounted for our tribe numbers? The next one, you know, that determines if we got all our people. Then there's no reason to go higher.

Speaker B: I said with how many people are in there, it would be. She want give me a reaction roll. This would probably be worth acknowledged as you're like counting these people as they go by.

Speaker A: 10 with hope. But it's a reaction. So there's.

Speaker B: Yeah, I'm still there. Yeah. I'd say with that you don't know if you've got all of them or not. Like, you wouldn't. You wouldn't even. Like you wouldn't know who were all from that place anyways. Unless I were like, I don't think.

Speaker C: We can breach the other floor unless we get everybody out first because otherwise we jeopardize everybody.

Speaker A: Well, we take everybody we've got so far and we send them down the chute.

Speaker C: That's what I'm saying.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: And then we get as close to begin to the exit before we determine.

Speaker A: The rest of it. So while we're helping people get down the chute, how's the druid doing on finding it?

Speaker C: Are we at.

Speaker D: Let's find out.

Speaker B: Yeah. So say probably with that like 30 minutes go by as you find an exit that's into the river and then come back and you can start leading people. Yeah.

Speaker D: Nodded the head of the dog. They start falling.

Speaker B: Yeah. They hurting people down the sewer. And I'd say, yeah, about this time, like it's definitely like gotten like kind of. Oh yeah. So I'll say probably another. It probably takes like 30 minutes to an hour to get like all like 200 plus people through. Through the toilets and down into that. That single file. I'll say, yeah, probably like two hours. And I And then in that process, you learned that, like, the guards do, like, distribute food in the morning. And then like, and you guys got here after the evening meal, an hour after sign up, they distribute, they bring food. So. Yeah. So yeah. So a couple hours pass was. We'll say it's like 10pm so you've emptied two floors.

Speaker C: Next floor guards.

Speaker B: No, that is. There's one more floor up above that. Yeah, there's three sub floors. Yeah, there's three sub floors.

Speaker A: Was garbage.

Speaker B: That's what I was thinking too. No, no, it's. It's three subfloors. And then the ground floor, the building is four stories tall. It's just three of them are underground.

Speaker A: Okay. Yeah, yeah, definitely be picking that.

Speaker B: And if we get guards, we'll see what happens with this real quick. We've had two fears so far.

Speaker A: Didn't quite pick it.

Speaker D: Nine.

Speaker A: And this one is beer.

Speaker B: I will. I will say as you're picking this lock, you do end up. You do pick it, but it makes a lot of noise. And it makes a lot of noise when it opens. And then you hear a metal door, like up the stairwell open. They start hearing two sets of like two people coming down the. And they're kind of like, like, what was that noise? That was strange.

Speaker C: Are these stone stairs or wood stairs?

Speaker B: They're spelling. And then as. As they like you've opened it and people are starting to like shuttle down. You have two guards coming down the stairs from the floor above you. You hear their. And then as they relock and start coming down and they're kind of just.

Speaker D: Like.

Speaker B: Chitchatting about what was like, what are they up to now? Making noise.

Speaker A: How. How is the area lit? Is it like torch every 12ft? Is it.

Speaker B: It's very dim, like purple violet light. That kind of makes the place feel sick.

Speaker A: Okay, is the. The door that opened, is it like there's one of these purple lights to either side of the door or it's.

Speaker B: Like one on the stairwell? Basically, like pretty much only the only light I'll say is probably that at like each like, door. So like the stairwell is like barely lit. There's like maybe like one or two lights in the hole. Okay. Place that gives it, like barely lights it.

Speaker A: My warrior quickly takes off his jacket, jerk it, and he smothers this purple light. He covers it so it's just a black pit when you're looking down, and then goes back down on the other side of the door. Hides to either side.

Speaker B: Good, good. So sorry, did you let the People out or you blocked them. So there's. They're funneling out. There's probably like 50, 100 people in the. In the cell, like, finally out. So you blocked it off and made it dark. So, yeah, we're just.

Speaker A: We blocked the light. The door's still open, so they're still funneling down.

Speaker B: And then you have two guards coming down from above.

Speaker A: And the. And the other lights are still there. So it's just a. A dark spot.

Speaker C: Are they coming down? Like, are the stairs such. Where they're coming down and there's like.

Speaker B: I'd say they're like this. So they're like. And it's stones. They're like. They won't really know it's dark until they hit the landing. They come down to the. So they like. I'll say they hit that landing and they're like, what the heck? And then they, like, hear people shuffling and they're like, what's going on? And then.

Speaker C: Because then my question is, if they're coming down, will I be able to. Would I be able to see? Like, if I crept up to watch them come down, would I be able to see their legs before they saw me?

Speaker B: No, like, because it's. It's like there. You can't see up the stair. Like, it comes down, there's a landing, and then it like, cuts back underneath the stairs. So it's like, think like a wall. So you have to go to the landing to see up the next set of stairs. But I'm gonna say they're gonna come down at that landing and see that the light's out. And those then be cautious. And then they would hear people shuffling down the stairs. So you have a few moments to react here.

Speaker C: So what do you say to me? Who was in there with us?

Speaker A: Is it Yumi, the sorcerer in the.

Speaker D: In the Bard is everyone but the druid.

Speaker A: The personality of. Of this tribe, is it aggressive over the top or is it cautious core from our dealings? I mean, like, the guards. If I were to make guards over, they come out or would they freak out because the lights dim and send.

Speaker B: People back up top to, you know, that we can.

Speaker D: So we're like pitch black where we're at.

Speaker B: It's pretty stinking dark now with that light covered. Like, people are having to, like, move slower because it is dark in there. But also, like, yeah, you come down the landing and it's just like black. And then.

Speaker A: And then you'd see the next light.

Speaker B: And you'd see a little bit of light and they'd see shadows passing into it. So yeah, they say they. They come down there that landing. Be like, what the heck? And then they see the people out of the cell and they'll probably see like shadows moving down the the steps. And you know, they'd be like, oh shoot, we better. They'll lift the others. And then they would take off. Right.

Speaker C: I go charge up after them. I don't know if they would even know I'm there. What's the rule on like melee damage.

Speaker B: Without what, like fists? Yeah.

Speaker C: Or if I use my shotgun as a blown instrument. So I don't want to make a bunch of gun life.

Speaker B: No, we. We just make that like a club. Whatever damage it clubs does. If you're just clubbing people with your rifle.

Speaker A: Goodbye. Makes the pop on them and get into very close range as the people are coming down the stairs. I mean, just kind of working their way back up.

Speaker B: Or did you like. So I imagine you guys put yourselves in front of between you and the guards. So you're.

Speaker C: That's what I would imagine.

Speaker B: Okay. You're pretty. You'd be in close range.

Speaker D: Because they're.

Speaker B: Gonna like you have moments to react because they see the. The lights out and then shadows at the other landing moving. And then they go, crap, we need you alert the boss. And they take off.

Speaker C: So this is like a maze. I don't see club.

Speaker B: It'd be a mace then probably. It'd be sufficient.

Speaker D: Seven points of damage.

Speaker B: All right, that hit the.

Speaker D: Get one of them.

Speaker B: And that was a. With your damage died max. And then added another damage and you got seven. That sucks. All right. He cries out as that spike hits him. Oh.

Speaker A: Then sorcerer guards moves into a very close range and sets off a ring of blades. Detect both of them and then view it with a. With ice as well.

Speaker C: Add.

Speaker A: To roll crit. Wow, that's a pair of nines. So the base of that is clear stress D8 plus 2. So that would be 10.

Speaker B: Yep. Let me add another D8.

Speaker A: 16. So these icy glowing phantom daggers rip into both of them.

Speaker B: Both of them. Okay, that's severe. When one guy dies shredded. The other guys screaming and starts and it's like limping.

Speaker C: I'm gonna call her and just be like. Put my. Like restrain him around the neck like where he can't scream and pull him back.

Speaker B: All right.

Speaker C: Actually, actually what I'll do is actually I'm just gonna grab him and chuck him down the stairs.

Speaker B: All right, give me a minum.

Speaker C: All right, let's grab him as he starts to go. Chuck him down the stairs onto his face. I'm like, aiming to, like, have him, like.

Speaker B: And then hard at the mom.

Speaker C: So whatever distance that drop is.

Speaker A: Is that a goofy screen?

Speaker C: No, no, it's just. And then he's gonna turn him, like, grabbing him, and then just turn around the corner with him and.

Speaker B: Oh, well, I said he threw them. Like I was going to look up the.

Speaker A: How much damage you get from flight?

Speaker B: Just the melee damage. I know why. That's like something like. Oh, there it is. Unarmed attacks. They roll me a D4 plus your straight. That's six. It's just enough to break into his major damage. So, yeah, he fling him down the. Down the stair into the wall and just hear a wet, wet smash. As his face compacts and he stops with.

Speaker C: I move to the next. I just like motion and be like. You know, when I go up to the next threshold, I'll peek around the corner for the next stairs.

Speaker B: All right. You do hear a lot. A fair amount of ocean upstairs.

Speaker D: Without the light.

Speaker B: What's that?

Speaker D: Put out the light. It's even darker in that area. Yeah, they should have be lit up there. So, like, if they open the door, they'd. Yeah, it still went.

Speaker B: Okay. So. Yeah.

Speaker A: All right.

Speaker B: You make it darker. And then I would say the next thing you see is probably like, a hand guard come out with, like, six guys behind him.

Speaker A: How many more people need to slip through this door before you can close.

Speaker B: It that you can't block off like this? The cells that are cut off, and it's just a single stairwell.

Speaker A: But the people that are still coming down, how much longer till they've completed.

Speaker B: And then.

Speaker A: I can close the door that we open to let them come down.

Speaker C: Does that make sense?

Speaker B: No. I'm confused.

Speaker A: All right, so we open the door, people started coming down. How long till they finish and I can close the door?

Speaker B: Closing that door won't help you in any way because it just goes to the prison, like, and then it goes up.

Speaker C: So each floor is closed off on its own. But the stairs from their door they locked go all the way down?

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Okay.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: There's no gates.

Speaker A: The landing has a door that goes to where the prisoners are. But the stairway is open.

Speaker C: Yeah, the stairs were just blocked for each floor. All right, so they couldn't wander the stairs, but the guards could go to empty floor and go to avoid.

Speaker B: Okay, yeah.

Speaker A: I had that airlock thing in my mind as far as this door.

Speaker B: It opens up.

Speaker C: How wide are the stairs?

Speaker B: They're like Five foot wide. You barely fit two people side by side.

Speaker C: So how close are they to come into my corners?

Speaker B: So they would be in close range as they come out the door and around the.

Speaker C: Does my venom only work, like when it says one use? Is that a duration or only hits one target?

Speaker B: I think it just says your next attack. Okay.

Speaker C: Oh, you're right.

Speaker B: You're right. I think once. Yeah.

Speaker A: What sort of condition are the walls from the stairs?

Speaker B: This whole place is pretty rotted. Like, the mortar and stuff is pretty bad. As I said. Yeah. You see the head guard come out and behind him, like four bladed dudes. And then behind him, like some rifle guys.

Speaker C: But I'm at a corner, right?

Speaker B: Yeah. And, like, you can, like, be like, peeking around.

Speaker C: I'm gonna trigger my unstoppable. I'm gonna club him because this is gonna hurt.

Speaker D: Spin three hope and temporarily distract them. But start playing the drum and then start doing some messed up, like, growling noises in the dark. Like messed up throat singing. So they have a minus two on their difficulty.

Speaker B: All right. All right. Yeah, so you go ahead and. Yeah, I'm gonna say the head guard is right there. He's coming down first. Followed by Like4Swordsman's. And then you see coming down around the thing, like for rifle.

Speaker D: Then it would have been. As soon as that door opened, it would have just. This music would have just started.

Speaker B: All right. Do you have to roll for that or is that just. I don't. What's it.

Speaker D: I just spent three hoping. Distracted target. But it would also be like an intimidation.

Speaker B: Right.

Speaker D: Performance to try and make them scared.

Speaker A: Does an illusion of a beast.

Speaker D: There you go.

Speaker A: This beast head is. It's human size and it looks like it's coming up the stairs at them.

Speaker C: But they do that before me. That I don't need to pop out yet. I was curious what they do first. I imagine, like, they can't see me. I'm just waiting for them to come around.

Speaker B: Yeah, but if that stuff's coming out.

Speaker C: Yeah, but if that stuff's coming out.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker C: I'm just waiting, I guess.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: This is a. A spill roll. Just have her attend.

Speaker C: Mine's just an RP thing.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: I don't have any intimidation songs anyway.

Speaker B: You can do that. Yeah. So you make your illusion.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker D: Make it something of some fable. Mythology in this culture.

Speaker B: Yeah. I was gonna say. Yeah, you go ahead and roll it.

Speaker D: Up and then.

Speaker B: Have advantage with the barge noises behind you. Yeah.

Speaker D: And the drum.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: Or a pan flute. Whatever. You sound more scary.

Speaker A: 18 now for the advantage role. That doesn't tip between hope and fear. It's just.

Speaker B: No, it just adds to your total value.

Speaker A: Okay then that's with fear. And it's just this mythic beast lizard. This dragon head type thing. Something that.

Speaker D: They would be like down here. Their souls will be lost.

Speaker B: So you hear them like stop. And then you hear the. The head. The head guard just yells at his. I'll just spend a fear to. He's not intimidated. Where he does yell at the rest of his guards.

Speaker A: You babies get down there and find.

Speaker B: Out what that is.

Speaker C: Is he right around the corner?

Speaker B: He's further up the stairs. Though I'm gonna say he's probably at the top of the next landing. Because you guys had this stuff come up around.

Speaker C: And then it's like he was at the corner. I'd be like. I just grab him and pull him behind that illusion right as he says that.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Just the illusion. Looks like he's being chewed.

Speaker B: Yeah. So. Yeah. So he. So his four. The four bladed guys go. Start heading. Go in front of him now.

Speaker A: Let me know when it shifts. Oh, that was that. The spotlight shift as they're coming down.

Speaker B: Yeah. So I mean like what. What are you. What else were you.

Speaker A: The sourcer unleashes a chaos bolt. That prismatic fireball. But he's not aiming for the guards. He's aiming for the. The wall that's ready to collapse anyway to try and drop it in and seal off the stairs.

Speaker B: All right. Yeah. I was gonna say that's what they're moving.

Speaker A: So this the drum saying how they're all gonna die.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: The law opens up and.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: So how close am I to where you're aiming?

Speaker A: Beyond you.

Speaker C: Where the.

Speaker A: They're getting ready to come down the stairs. And the wall is showing pits. So.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: You're out of the blast radius.

Speaker C: I'm just wondering if there's any way I could help demolish.

Speaker A: Strike the walls.

Speaker C: But the shotgun will be loud in here. Wonder like they carry it outside.

Speaker A: Outside.

Speaker B: And probably not. You're like you're a foot underground. Like you're on the first floor underground.

Speaker C: That's true. And I probably won't hear it. They won't hear it over your.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: I can take a shot. Or do I just roll it as a hope or.

Speaker B: Yeah. Send a hope to give him this assist to cause damage to give him an advantage. Yeah.

Speaker A: Look at the dice right in front of. So we have.

Speaker C: Wow.

Speaker A: 27 with fear. And we're unleashing the full blast. 13 yeah. 13 points of prismatic.

Speaker B: Or does the game is. Well, that was advantage for the gold. But you can add your damage to the violent deck.

Speaker C: Another five damage.

Speaker A: So 18 points of.

Speaker C: Actually seven damage.

Speaker B: Yeah. 20.

Speaker A: 20 points of explosive damage against the wall where I'm aiming and where his shotgun hits.

Speaker B: I say even just I guess with the 27. With hope. Wait. No. You have fear, right? Fear. I'll say it. Yeah. The fireball strike and the shotgun blast strikes, and it, like, crumples out, like, half the blocks most of the way. And, like, rubble starts coming down towards you guys. But you could still, like, fall over the top. But it is severely limited there.

Speaker C: Does it look like there's more that's weak that just hasn't come down?

Speaker B: I mean, potentially, that's hard to ice roll. Yeah. You want to attack the wall some more?

Speaker C: Yeah, they would see me. Then I guess I'll just start retrieving and do it.

Speaker A: Honestly, the source were kind of weight. If the music's still going on.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: When the drums the explosive is come. Come and be cursed. Enter the darkness with me.

Speaker C: Can only one person go through at a time right now?

Speaker B: Through what?

Speaker C: Through whatever. This whole.

Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, that's all. Yeah, that's what I said. Like that. It's blocked it enough to where only a person can crawl over the top of the rubble.

Speaker C: So I'm gonna actually. If it's dark, I'm gonna go up to the other side of the rubble and wait for the first guy to come through the hole.

Speaker D: Yep. Might as well.

Speaker C: Would they be considered vulnerable coming through the hall?

Speaker B: I would allow that. But you hear that. You hear the guard, like, through that rubble. Get busy. And you hear guys start pulling, like, start pulling the rubble away instead of trying to, like, crawl over.

Speaker C: But there's still guys going down.

Speaker B: The people are. Yeah, I mean, it would take a while to move for 100 people to shuffle through a place. But then you hear one guy, and they hear the guard go, you go get some more guards.

Speaker D: We need help clearing this rubble.

Speaker C: Stick my shotgun through the hole and I shoot them off.

Speaker B: All right. Yeah. You're gonna roll.

Speaker C: What do I need to do with this?

Speaker B: Oh, it's an attack roll. So you tell me what your number is.

Speaker C: I don't know if I need to try roll my. Do I roll my other die?

Speaker B: It's 11. No, it would just be your flat. Unless you're out. 11. Yeah.

Speaker C: So I have my ad die.

Speaker B: I can add it because your shine shoots. It hits everyone in front of you. That it would hit. So that's up to you if you want to throw that in or not. Yeah.

Speaker C: Just to make sure it's bad. 6. So 17.

Speaker B: Yep. That last catches everybody.

Speaker C: All right.

Speaker B: Minus the guy that's running. Running up the stairs, I do three damage to him. Okay, everybody.

Speaker C: And I'll just keep pumping shots through there as much as I can. And that was with Hope, by the way.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: Unless I'm doing something else, I'm just going to keep pumping shots because they're captive audience in the hallway.

Speaker B: I will spend. Actually, I'll spend the fear to interrupt. And then.

Speaker C: They take one more damage because of my unstoppable. Oh, so they would take whatever it was. Four damage to.

Speaker B: Okay. I don't think. No, that doesn't. Oh, actually it doesn't. Let's go. So they would take two. Yeah. Spend the fear to activate the leader, the head guard. And I think I'll spend a mode appearance. This command ability. And he yells at his rifleman to return fire. So pretty much shoot at you with disadvantage.

Speaker A: You're trying to ricochet off the ceiling.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: And to hit nine or better.

Speaker B: Yeah. They only rolled a seven.

Speaker C: Rare miss.

Speaker B: No, you just see a bunch of bullet. Several bullets come through the. Where you had just popped up and fired. They shoot back. And you still hear.

Speaker C: Step music still going through the thing.

Speaker D: Oh, that's all I can do.

Speaker C: That's great.

Speaker B: Because. Yeah, these guys are still digging, trying to. Are still shuffling rubble out.

Speaker C: They should have a hard time because I'm shooting at it.

Speaker A: If you ever get to the point where you step back, I want, you.

Speaker C: Know, the.

Speaker A: Right at the ceiling. And if there's somebody in the hole, when that happens and it didn't.

Speaker B: I.

Speaker C: Mean, I would shoot. Cover and shoot.

Speaker D: I don't have anything to do.

Speaker B: All right.

Speaker C: Are you trying to throw something through the hole, or should I shoot again?

Speaker B: No, feel free. When you back off, when all the people.

Speaker C: They're in the hallway.

Speaker A: Down the hallway.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker C: 19 with fear.

Speaker B: Or.

Speaker C: But actually since I grew one, that's 2, 3, 4, 5. I still do six damage to everybody in the con.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker C: Unstoppable ticks one up. And then I get to add that to my damage until it goes away.

Speaker B: That four. Yeah. With that, you see. Watch. That guy's just not even here anymore. He ran off.

Speaker C: By shooting at him, is trying to prevent them from being able to actively clear R. Yeah.

Speaker B: No, after. After that one, you hear the. After that round goes off, you hear.

Speaker D: The.

Speaker B: Head guard go, fullback, fullback. And they all start. They all start backing. They all trying to like, run up the the stairs. Can get another shot off that to get away. Maybe you can try. Actually it was your previous role with people. Obviously they all use their movement and get up the stairs and around the corner before you could. As they're like shooting at your hole too. But none of them are actually doing. None of them are actually attaching. But yeah, so they all retreat up the and out. Up and around the landing so they can't get shot at anymore. Right now they're going.

Speaker C: We'Re gonna have company here.

Speaker B: You got company.

Speaker A: I'm looking at the sea of people making their way down the stairs.

Speaker C: I felt obed to say that since we're trying to get people up to garbage shoot. Well find out down here.

Speaker B: Thank you.

Speaker C: How are you?

Speaker A: Fancy meeting you here. I thought you were on the second floor.

Speaker C: When did you get moved up?

Speaker B: So I'd say like every. Like every like five minutes or so, you would see someone, like, poke their head out around the corner. Shootable. I mean, like I say out of range for this shotgun probably, because what's the range on the shotgun?

Speaker C: Pretty close.

Speaker B: Yeah. It'd be like right at the very edge if it. Actually, I would probably be just out of range.

Speaker A: If we're just kind of holding the point, the warrior would probably slip up with his rifle and just kind of lay it down on the rubble and wait for a head to come out.

Speaker B: If you want to try and shoot one, you can go with the with disadvantage. That's when a guard, like, peeks out real quick and he like, looks to see. See if it's safe yet.

Speaker A: No with disadvantage. So be subtracted 13.

Speaker B: That hits.

Speaker A: And that's with fear.

Speaker B: By one. I will. I'll say with the fear result. One of the guy that peaked out returns fire. But he has disadvantage because you get to try and try to shoot it.

Speaker A: And that's eight points of damage.

Speaker B: Okay. Does a 15 hit you? Yeah. So you both looked at each other long enough to get shot for four. Physical damage.

Speaker D: Okay.

Speaker A: I had fallen to the the minor.

Speaker B: So that there'd be one hit point. Okay. Unless you spend an armor slot to negate it.

Speaker A: When it's just kind of tie him down.

Speaker C: Did you get one?

Speaker A: Yeah, I got him.

Speaker D: He got me.

Speaker A: I shot him for eight. He shot me for.

Speaker C: When you go up to do that, I would run down the stairs to go see how the prisoner thing was going.

Speaker A: Make sure we don't have a clog.

Speaker C: Are they all trying to, like, shuffle.

Speaker B: Down the one hole. Well, there is, like, they can get underneath the latrines, but then there is just the. The one drain out is. That's like the biggest bottleneck.

Speaker C: But is it like. Yeah, I guess it wouldn't necessarily matter because I'm like, it could open more toilets, but it's still the way out.

Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. That's the bottleneck of that. Yeah. Never mind.

Speaker C: Who doesn't know Hang out with the warrior.

Speaker B: Yeah. So, yeah, so that goes on for, like, I guess probably 20, 30 minutes before I say maybe more like 15 minutes or so before a new set of guards comes up with. They have, like, metal shields and they start coming forward to come and, like, block the hole so they can clear rubble and not get shot. If you're. If you shoot at, like, if anyone shoots at them all there. I can.

Speaker C: You want to shoot at him first apology.

Speaker A: I want to see how big because.

Speaker C: You have longer range, so you would. You would actually get a shot on before I would.

Speaker A: So, yeah, I'll take a shot just because it's been a while since I've seen anybody come at a gun with a shield. 14.

Speaker B: That hits.

Speaker A: Sadly, that's with fear, but.

Speaker B: Yeah, it is. Wow.

Speaker A: 4 11.

Speaker B: Yeah. So you do. You do clip a guy like this, holding up the. The shield, but they still keep coming forward, and I'll save. Then you see one of them take out a stick and dynamite and light it and throw it, like, pull you back, like, run. So I'll see if he even.

Speaker C: So he throws it at the hole.

Speaker B: Yeah, he's throwing it through the. Like, throwing it through the hole at you guys.

Speaker D: Question.

Speaker C: What would it take to actually block it since it's going to a very obviously small location?

Speaker B: Well, it's not like that small because a person can, like, crawl through it, so it's still decent.

Speaker A: If my sorcerer sees it being thrown, can they do a spell in that direction that would hit it? Would they be able to react to it?

Speaker B: I will say my. I guess my spy was him throwing it into the hole. So the dynamite while to see if it actually. How accurate he was. And then. Okay, it will go back to you guys to see.

Speaker D: Yep.

Speaker B: He. So yeah, the dynamite has. Is on your side of the wall.

Speaker C: Try to grab it and throw that.

Speaker A: If it's just barely on that side of the wall, one of one of the warriors would definitely throw it back.

Speaker C: If I can.

Speaker B: Yeah, I'm gonna say you can give me an action. It'd probably be agility or finesse to get that and throw it out back over before it blows up.

Speaker C: Oh, crit for 19 double nines. It comes through and it's almost like in my hand.

Speaker B: So, yeah, you probably just catch it, throw it right back.

Speaker C: I'm going to actually, like, catch it and I would, like, throw it so it, like, slides underneath their shields.

Speaker D: There you go.

Speaker B: Like this. Just behind that or over. Over them would probably. Yeah, either way. Yeah, you can get it behind them.

Speaker C: I just skip it underneath their legs on shields.

Speaker A: L. My warrior would be mimicking one of the. The eastern foreigners in a French accent.

Speaker C: It's.

Speaker A: We don't want any.

Speaker B: But then I.

Speaker C: Then I get out of the way.

Speaker B: I just say, yeah. Then that. That actually you hear them go. You hear people running. And then. And then you hear, like, more rubble from where you crack. Like, broke. The whole crashes. And you hear more on their side crashing. And you can see, like, above you. It's starting to get sketchy.

Speaker C: I like, tap you like.

Speaker A: They'Re just being nodded, like.

Speaker C: Yeah, those are pretty well blocked right now.

Speaker B: Oh, it's. It's kind of like there's. Well, you can't even see now because there's, like, tons of dust and you heard a lot of earth move.

Speaker C: All right, let's roll.

Speaker B: He probably heard. He heard some screams too, as I'm sure as people get caught.

Speaker C: Get the heck out of here before they bring cannons.

Speaker B: But I'll say, yeah, you get. You, everyone. All the prisoners have made it down to, like, that bottom floor. But I'll say it probably takes, like, another hour or so before you finally get, like, everyone, like, actually, like, in the sewers during this time.

Speaker A: Has anybody on the first floor even thought that somebody might have come in from underground?

Speaker B: I was. You'd have no clue. But also, like, just running around in the sewers, like. But.

Speaker A: I mean, not that it's a. A favorite hideaway or anything. Vacation spot, but other than, say, the.

Speaker B: Sewers probably aren't, like, super big either. Like, you're probably, like, running around, like, running around under there, like, hunched over.

Speaker C: Okay.

Speaker B: Like, it's terrible. Yeah. So I'll say eventually you get everyone into the actual sewers. And we'll say it's like, after midnight now.

Speaker A: That dynamic probably rattled in place.

Speaker B: Oh, yeah, There's. You can definitely assume that, like, stuff is, like, on alert by the prison.

Speaker C: When that dynamite went out, too. I would alert my talon to start heading to the south of the river, avoiding hunting parties. But there's going to be prisoners coming out. That'll be protection.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: So, yeah, so you guys get here. I'll say the river is probably like several feet below. Actually probably even more than that.

Speaker C: It's probably like, oh, this comes out still in the city.

Speaker B: Yes. They're having to swim. So it's basically like a direct line.

Speaker C: Well then. Yeah.

Speaker B: And yeah. So people start like it's. It's after like midnight. Then you're. The river's mostly like in shadow and has like a red like everything kind of has like this blood red, like crimson tint to it because of that beacon. Oh, people are like piling in to the. The river starting to swim down. It's about 5 to 10ft below like the bank. This is almost like a canal here kind of set up. And there's a couple bridges that you guys would be. Would be able to.

Speaker A: What value is the beacon to the city? Is it like a guard thing does it moving? Is Sauron type thing trying to spot intruders or a nightlight.

Speaker B: First glance is like a nightlight. But I'd probably say as you. You guys that have spell casting traits would definitely feel that there's like. There's some sort of. And when her magical power like emanated from it. As people start like getting into the river and swimming south behind you guys, I guess you kind of think if.

Speaker A: There'S lots more questions.

Speaker B: I'm wondering.

Speaker A: We need to take out the beacon so that people can.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: Make it out.

Speaker B: Maybe.

Speaker A: Send them all down the river and we'll meet them there.

Speaker C: But.

Speaker A: Only we had some dynamite.

Speaker D: Need our other characters.

Speaker C: Cash.

Speaker A: Where are you?

Speaker D: Definitely need cash.

Speaker A: Need to know more about the tower. This struck with a bolt or something. Could it be tipped? So the tower construction, is it like open wood or is it like a box wood rock. Gotta go up the stairs on the inside to get to it.

Speaker B: Oh, it's.

Speaker C: Let's see.

Speaker B: Yeah, it's. It's stone. It's like 30ft high. It's roughly like 60 by 60. Like it's a fat.

Speaker A: That's a rook of the tower.

Speaker B: Yep.

Speaker D: You just have to go back or whatever which way we're going on this river.

Speaker B: You go south, you would, you know, swim. Go south.

Speaker D: I don't think we could take. I don't have anything to.

Speaker A: If it has a door.

Speaker B: Well, if you're like you're down in the river, you wouldn't be able to see anything other than like the upper part of it anyways.

Speaker D: Right in the river.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: So I'm assuming it has a natural current.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: So till of how many ants going down the river 200 and it's probably.

Speaker B: Closer to like three to 400.

Speaker D: People are like starting to like be.

Speaker B: So loud and be screamed.

Speaker C: Well if they're just riding the current, it would be so bad.

Speaker D: Yeah, but you have to jump in.

Speaker B: No, you would basically just like slide in because so loud at night.

Speaker D: So loud in the middle of the night.

Speaker A: Some of those people like. But I don't know how to swim.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker B: Get the people that panic.

Speaker C: This is moving water though, right?

Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker C: If it's moving water might not be quite so bad.

Speaker B: Splashes. That's why we'll. We'll do a. Do a big group roll here to see here. Go. Who wants to I guess do the final.

Speaker D: What's the stand?

Speaker B: Probably be swimming. Probably be. I'm probably agility. Strength agility or finesse. I think they just. Oh, nice horse riding. They have. It's under finesse. I think so. I'm fine with any of this. Stat.

Speaker A: Where has a plus two fragility.

Speaker C: I have two.

Speaker D: Yeah. Warrior leader, Tank queen.

Speaker C: You do it.

Speaker B: Give me the.

Speaker C: So you guys have to roll.

Speaker B: Yeah. You guys do first. We'll just put this as a.

Speaker D: 15 minutes.

Speaker B: Yep.

Speaker D: And use all my rally guys for this.

Speaker C: Already burned mine.

Speaker B: Little bit.

Speaker D: Barney. Panthers 24 and the Druid. Riley Knight.

Speaker A: And 14 Warrior.

Speaker B: I'm gonna roll once for each group of 100.

Speaker D: None of them.

Speaker B: They all. None of them got.

Speaker D: There goes our success.

Speaker C: But none of them got 15. They all failed.

Speaker B: Yes.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker B: So you have a minus one on 15. Yeah. From your mirror. From all the people in the air.

Speaker C: So I go with 13.

Speaker B: With fear. With fear.

Speaker A: Grateful you saved us.

Speaker B: But we're in now. I'll say. Yeah. As you guys are floating, floating down the the river here, you hear one of the. You hear up above both like the watchtower. So just goes like what the hell? And then you hear him like ring the. Ring his bell and start shouting. There's like people in the river. Tons of them. Start hearing like a larger commotion from like some of the buildings. Especially with the guy ringing his alarm bell.

Speaker D: And then.

Speaker B: Guys above the river on the two watch hour guys start shooting. Just shooting into the crap shoe.

Speaker A: I love my fish in the barrel.

Speaker B: Yep.

Speaker D: You just start standing open.

Speaker C: You shoot back in the water.

Speaker A: How does it work with recoil? If you're like floating with your feet pointed downstream.

Speaker C: Magic. There's limits to that.

Speaker B: Let's say shooting with your. Your guns would be with disadvantage. To even try and hit them.

Speaker D: You shoot ice spikes at people. That's All I got. My druid doesn't have anything.

Speaker A: See, that's walls are wooden dirt.

Speaker B: Like, there's like, stone and wood.

Speaker A: Stonewood.

Speaker B: That's pretty fort. That's fairly well fortified. I guess. I'm not sure if it's got ice.

Speaker D: Spikes up the shooters and that's it.

Speaker A: Yeah. That's about all I can.

Speaker C: Feel.

Speaker A: Prismatic.

Speaker D: My druid doesn't have anything.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: I'm.

Speaker A: I'm in the water and I.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: You can the unstoppable scene change.

Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Yeah. That would have been.

Speaker C: Then I would actually tuck in my turtle shell and just float down the river with the current.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: Because I can't do anything here.

Speaker D: It's just RNG on me. Lives and dies at this point.

Speaker A: It's flashy.

Speaker D: I'm aiming for the guy on the.

Speaker B: All right.

Speaker C: 21.

Speaker B: Yeah. That's inspirational words.

Speaker D: You could do anything. Clears the stress. A hit pointer gains a hope. Oh, I got enough.

Speaker C: I don't even. In the water.

Speaker B: Nope. Yeah. Horror.

Speaker D: Challenging it though.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker D: But we're still inside the spy.

Speaker B: No, I said you guys are like, by the.

Speaker C: I did call ours earlier to go to the south side of the city because we had prisoners coming out.

Speaker B: Yeah. I guess I'll give you guys. We'll have one more roll.

Speaker D: We'll just say we'll see what Steve got first.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: So 21 points of prismatic icy damage. As you hear him say. You'll never take me alive, Copper.

Speaker B: That actually the only one. Points of the eye. Yeah.

Speaker C: Jeez.

Speaker A: I just unloaded. It'll take me a stress to recharge it.

Speaker C: Burgundy.

Speaker B: Yeah, actually, he did. Yeah. Yeah. This guy up on the. To do hope.

Speaker A: It was hope.

Speaker C: Yay.

Speaker B: I will say with. Yeah, with that. The guy. I mean, he. He dies and, like, falls into the river. It's dead. I'll say with. With that help. Only 11 people have died as they're just shooting into the water. All right, let's do one more group full as you guys are.

Speaker C: Would I be able to prevent any of those 11, or is it too random? Like with my shield special, like 500 people.

Speaker B: I would say. I would say with that one. That was too like you since you already described yourself as tucking up into your shell and floating. Yeah. You're just floating.

Speaker D: My druid's just underborn. She's a rivet.

Speaker B: There you go.

Speaker A: That's a fail.

Speaker D: Screw in.

Speaker A: And the success.

Speaker D: No failure for the bar.

Speaker C: I would call my talon to come up river and find me. Let's swim up under with underwaters.

Speaker A: White be getting out. And then the deep thoughts is we need 400 people through enemy territory and not.

Speaker D: Yeah, there be like thousands of people that planet.

Speaker A: Or just get them out and say.

Speaker D: You'Re on your own head this direction.

Speaker B: The mass break like this.

Speaker C: That's kind of like what happens.

Speaker B: So, yeah, you will have a plus and zero for the group role, I think.

Speaker C: Oh, this is the next one.

Speaker B: Yeah. One of the groups of people survived.

Speaker C: Is it a flat roll?

Speaker B: No.

Speaker D: Is it strength?

Speaker B: Yeah, it'd be strength. It's only 14, but you crit it, so it doesn't matter.

Speaker C: Okay.

Speaker B: Yeah. So you clear stress and market hope.

Speaker C: Everybody gets their heads down after being shot at. Start trying to go stubble.

Speaker A: People are swimming over towards your. Your floating turtle body and clasping on like a raft or anything to pull themselves at.

Speaker B: I'd say some of your. Some of your talent are actually climbing the walls or on. Up on. On the. The wall, ripping and tearing the guys off, like, just throwing them down because they can do like 15 foot. They can jump that. Oh, nice. Wow, they're big. Like, remember, they're like 7 foot long.

Speaker A: That's true. Stretched out.

Speaker B: They're big.

Speaker C: I thought they were too far because I was calling mine in. That kind of works out there.

Speaker B: No Playtime part of that role. Yeah, they're getting up there and that's. That's how no one else, like nobody. No one gets shot that time because they're too busy dealing with horror talents now that are, like, in their camp in the fort around this area.

Speaker A: The hunting group is not back in town yet.

Speaker B: No, but there'd definitely be people swarming now. All right, let's do one more. And everyone has advantage. And this will be basically to get up out of the river and onto, like, the bank. Sprinkle the woods.

Speaker A: Fail from the 15. Still the number.

Speaker B: Yes.

Speaker A: All right, one success, one failure. 14. So close.

Speaker C: So we're even still.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker B: No, that's a pass. One pass from the group. Oh, another pass. Open up the.

Speaker C: So plus one. Plus two.

Speaker B: No, plus one. Yep.

Speaker A: 15.

Speaker B: With Coke. All right, we'll say another 15 people managed to catch some bullets as the guards are getting. As the place is getting organized. Finally after chaos and it being like 12 in the evening. Yep. So you guys are out of the water and back on my. What do you want to do?

Speaker A: People to disperse.

Speaker B: Yep.

Speaker D: Call our heart, our talons back and then help people start going direction. Try and cover them as much distance as you can. Yep. And then I gotta try and cover.

Speaker A: Are there any other safe havens closer.

Speaker B: Than Pimnic is the only is was the closest. There is another. Another village you guys would have passed through. Which would have been like down here.

Speaker A: Probably. Tell them these are your two spots.

Speaker C: Can you like what from your illusions. Like what can they do things or they just have a look like they.

Speaker A: I think an illusion can make human eyes.

Speaker B: That's right.

Speaker D: It's like minor illusion.

Speaker A: Yeah. You create a minor visual illusion no larger than yourself within close range. This illusion is convincing to anyone at close range or further.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: I was thinking that something gives a distraction. But there's not really anything here.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: My guys will hang back and cover.

Speaker C: Take out my crates.

Speaker A: Climb the walls and start having fun in town.

Speaker C: I'd say we're outside town now.

Speaker A: Yeah we're outside. But to go back for distraction and run across the top of the walls.

Speaker C: I think we'll be in great danger inside the city.

Speaker A: But we're not going in. Just going up the lip of the city.

Speaker C: Yeah. I'm assuming they're coming to us. I just don't know how many.

Speaker D: You were shaved to a wolf. And no hunting with his talent.

Speaker B: Yeah because like the. The pan. Let me see. I guess you guys would have went out on the the western bank. So the closest gate would be up. Further north would be.

Speaker A: But at night find a place to sleep through the day.

Speaker B: You guys are running interference.

Speaker C: Style. Just like do chop some people. Find another group. Run through and chop some people.

Speaker D: It would be interference for the Druid and his talent. Bard would be with the group. But he'd send his talent off to.

Speaker B: Even go hunt the bar.

Speaker A: Find a camping spot and we'll all come back to you.

Speaker D: Keep moving for the rest of the night.

Speaker B: Trying to get much distance. Yeah. Finally unorganized squad actually appears in this for 70 battles.

Speaker A: They finally dig out to get in. It's like where'd everybody go.

Speaker B: Except for the software.

Speaker C: I'm not sure.

Speaker A: I'm thinking that was already illustrated. Maybe he has some VIP.

Speaker C: Go back and look.

Speaker A: They would not expect.

Speaker C: That's true. In the front door of the prison.

Speaker A: The warrior would question your sanity. The source was like this Sounds like fun.

Speaker B: Yep. Yeah. So I'll say that you finally like the first organized group of soldiers that comes out of the gate in this pursuing.

Speaker A: Are they on horseback or.

Speaker B: So these guys are on on foot. Can assume that horseback guys will be later. They would take longer to get ready.

Speaker C: They see us.

Speaker B: That's up to. I'm gonna say that's up to you guys to. I mean whether you're. I guess this is the first group that's come out of the gate and is chasing. Chasing down prisoners or like trying to chase them down or following the trail as they're all running south towards the village and guys told them to.

Speaker C: So we're taking people out or are we?

Speaker B: I would.

Speaker D: My drew would be. It'd be like run bys with their horse. Like they just come through the bushes.

Speaker C: And then I come around with my talent and I'm gonna come by and.

Speaker D: Slice and then my wolf would do the same. We just would come out of the woods like bite someone and run by.

Speaker C: You get like wolf bonus if I hit them, right? Yeah, if you come with.

Speaker B: With me.

Speaker D: Yep.

Speaker C: See, I'll try to do a strike through the middle of the group and kill. I'm assuming that's a similar mage to what we saw previously.

Speaker B: Yeah, I said he would be like.

Speaker C: In his mind, that's the first guy to die.

Speaker B: Yeah. Is that close to the proper distance on the squares? I don't know. That's pretty close.

Speaker C: It's a little bit big.

Speaker B: Like quarter inch big.

Speaker C: Oh, whoops.

Speaker B: It's not moving.

Speaker C: Another one that's actually a lot bigger. Okay, now it's like an ink over.

Speaker B: It doesn't matter if it's that. That doesn't matter. Yep.

Speaker C: No, the other one was like more than the push.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: I can barely make up it right here.

Speaker C: It's like an epoch.

Speaker B: Yep. So you have very far or you have far range, you can move on your talent. So if you're hiding in the bushes with your wolf, that's fine too.

Speaker C: Sorry.

Speaker B: That's fine.

Speaker C: It's a fear night.

Speaker B: Yeah. 19.

Speaker D: How it goes?

Speaker B: That hits. Oh, I hit 13.

Speaker C: Just came out of the bushes.

Speaker B: Yep.

Speaker D: I look at this like night.

Speaker B: So dark. Yes. It would be very dark. These guys do. Would probably have torches, but I will say like, yeah, they would have some. Some light. So I'd say like, yeah, any range attack is a disadvantage.

Speaker C: Let's see.

Speaker B: That was. He said 19? No, I guess. What was your damage?

Speaker C: It was 13. But you don't add strength to the end.

Speaker A: No.

Speaker C: Just wearing the weapons.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: Why just be run by some animal.

Speaker C: Yeah, definitely.

Speaker D: It'd be so dark and they like maybe hear it coming and then like. And then be gone.

Speaker B: Yep. Yeah. You turn to that guy, like almost kill him.

Speaker D: And then.

Speaker B: Okay. With fear ghost.

Speaker A: Rifmen shoot off. Finish the job.

Speaker B: I have one. Just a drone coming from the woods.

Speaker C: The pads.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: I am here soon. You will not.

Speaker B: Roll a zero. So that's zero. Wow. Yeah. I will spend a bunch of my. Yeah, I'll spend one to activate the hexer guy. Mage dude. All right. Yeah. So the. So Sataki you get. The guy draws sigil in the air and then it slams into you. And then you're.

Speaker C: Pleased to roll the hit with that.

Speaker B: No. And you're just cursed. That doesn't do anything to you. Unless you roll with hope. And then the guy can use his magic to turn it to.

Speaker C: Unless you did.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker B: Yeah. Wish I could show the grid and not have gridded movement. The area is special. These guys surround you. Seven. Yep. All right. Eight damage physical. Seven. Physical. Seven physical again. That will be my turn.

Speaker C: You want to think wait and do your run through.

Speaker D: You should hit them first because then.

Speaker C: I get bonus damage unless I miss.

Speaker D: Yeah, I know that. Unless Steve wants to do something.

Speaker B: Great.

Speaker A: I'm not going to worry about running.

Speaker C: Into 24 to hit.

Speaker B: Oh, yeah. They say that the hit doesn't matter because it's a crit, but you do. Clear.

Speaker A: Now how does that work with a.

Speaker C: I'm about to cut them too.

Speaker A: With a curse where if you roll with hope, they can turn to fear. If it's a crit. I. I don't know. If you get a hope and you.

Speaker B: Reduce the stress, it wouldn't matter because there is. You can't. You didn't roll his hope and he didn't. A crit. That's a crit.

Speaker C: Okay.

Speaker B: So you can't change the hope.

Speaker A: It's above.

Speaker C: Even so, as my sword's going through him.

Speaker A: I don't want this. Chris, take it back.

Speaker C: So it's your damage max plus a.

Speaker D: Roll plus your damage roll.

Speaker C: So he's gonna.

Speaker B: Oh, it's just the dice. You max the dice.

Speaker A: Oh, yeah.

Speaker B: And then you roll the dice and then you add the modifier 13.

Speaker C: 13 just did 26 damage.

Speaker B: Oh, yeah. He's super dead.

Speaker C: I like hit in the same spot I hit him on the way through and just.

Speaker B: Yeah, that would have one shotted him to begin with. That was a massive. That would have been a massive damage head. So yeah, he collapsed.

Speaker A: I don't mess with.

Speaker C: With morale.

Speaker B: You guys are still up there you go run by.

Speaker D: Take a bite of 15 with.

Speaker B: Three points. I mean.

Speaker A: So the talents can do far.

Speaker B: Yeah, they give a far. You could be closer. You can basically set your starting point wherever because of. Yeah, you guys like, you guys can go. You guys are waiting for them or whatever.

Speaker A: But it's tortured. Do you have to stop to cast or can you cast on the fly and continue distance from the talent?

Speaker B: I would, yeah. If you want to move.

Speaker A: Well, I. I can see where the source would want to run. Get in close and then just continue on through. Just because they'd be scared of getting surrounded completely.

Speaker B: Yeah. Comments. If you're at far. Yeah, I think you can just move your far and then you do your attack. Roll where it works or just get in and. Sorry, nickel. What was your damage? Only 3.

Speaker A: Getting close and we set off a rain of blades 14 with hope.

Speaker B: And.

Speaker A: 9.7 if it hits.

Speaker B: Who are you targeting? Or is it.

Speaker A: It's a spell. The rain of blades. So all enemies that are very close spend the hope to make a spell. Castro conjure throwing blades and strike all out at all targets within very close range. Targets you succeed against. Take D8 plus 2 magic damage using your proficiency.

Speaker D: Okay.

Speaker A: If target hit is vulnerable, they give an extra D8.

Speaker B: Basically everybody pulling cats.

Speaker C: Death Blossom.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: That's crazy. All right, so then what was your damage?

Speaker A: Those nine points? Oh, but I wrapped it in the ice which gave it to attack through. The damage depends on how you.

Speaker C: Feeling it.

Speaker B: What car is it? Oh, that's. That's the.

Speaker A: It's the actual sorcerer. If you look at it, it's the elemental. You say how you're using the. The element, which I've always been using water, and it will give you a plus. I think it's 2 to hit or 3 damage. Or is it 3 to hit and 2 damage? So we change it from 9 to 10 or 11 for everything in range.

Speaker B: Yeah. So see, it's either a bonus to hit or bonus to damage. Yeah.

Speaker C: I'm going the damage.

Speaker B: Burn hope bad 3 damage. Yeah.

Speaker C: So what did you do to originally.

Speaker A: So went in, did the daggers.

Speaker C: I mean the damage. How much damage?

Speaker A: That's the part I was trying to figure out.

Speaker C: What you said you do a hope to add three.

Speaker A: Yeah. So that would take it from a 9 to 12 to 12.

Speaker C: That's ridiculous.

Speaker B: Let's see. I think that actually killed everybody. Yep. That broke all their major thresholds. And they apparently only. They all only had 3hp. So.

Speaker C: I just stand around look like, wow.

Speaker B: No, those are soft enemies.

Speaker D: I want to sit here and kill 2,000 people.

Speaker C: Yeah. So everyone gather around real close.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: And then bush over here. And when they come in, just acting.

Speaker C: He's in a little. Little pit in the middle of the path.

Speaker D: There we go.

Speaker C: Puts his hands up.

Speaker D: You grind her up out Their old pile hamburger.

Speaker C: The grass is all red. All the bodies up.

Speaker A: Explodes.

Speaker C: That's amazing.

Speaker B: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.

Speaker C: Eight in one blow.

Speaker D: That's crazy.

Speaker B: That is. I didn't realize they were all squishies. That's hilarious.

Speaker A: We're screening out an opinion. It's like.

Speaker B: Yeah, it's definitely a blender.

Speaker C: Called the gravel Control.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: Yeah. With the Rebel Slayer.

Speaker D: Yeah. Okay then head down.

Speaker B: Yep. You guys keep breaking. So we will actually finish this series on the 8th of November. Because that was another. That's like Wes's last scheduled absence. But. So I just end this session. We learned something new and important about the world.

Speaker A: A flotilla of human beings isn't really a bal escape route.

Speaker C: We learned about the fort and the crazy bridge lighting. We don't think about it.

Speaker B: No. Overcome a noble monster enemy that reason.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker B: Some might say so. Memorable treasure.

Speaker D: 400, 300 and something.

Speaker B: Yeah. Find it more like that. We'll see what happens. I guess the next session and the next family. Yeah. Congratulations. I'm not sure what next week's gonna be yet.

Speaker A: I'm gonna let everybody decide.

Speaker B: Oh, it's up for a vote. I guess to an extent it's really voting either between. I mean. Yeah. I guess either really between Savicola or Bell Riders or if Wes is ready then we'll. If we want to do the one shot instead of Val Riders. Pull on the discord.

Speaker A: It's fun no matter what we do.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker A: Then I saw West Coin. It's like I might not be. I might want to do a different system. It's like. Okay, we'll go with that.

Speaker B: Yes. I just. We don't understand how any plans for. Don't need anything for next session. Yes. I don't know. Well, next week we'll probably definitely do pizza. That works for everyone. We can catch up before game time. Then again, I don't know what. Sure what we'll be doing. So get that sorted by Wednesday though.

Speaker C: It's all fun to me. But yeah. I know some people have talked about someone. At least one person had talked about finishing this out of cola line just so that storyline is wrapped.

Speaker B: Yeah, that's my preference for next week. But okay.

Speaker C: So all the things we do, they're all fun. But like that adds an extra layer of okay cap a storyline so that we're not having come back to.

Speaker B: That way then too. Like when we get back to Fel Riders which may end up even being next year. I don't know what the rest of November. Yeah, I know. November and December looks like will look.

Speaker D: Like for everybody like six weeks away.

Speaker C: I don't think I'll be having any more trouble for the rest of the year. That's cool.

Speaker B: Yeah. So you. Is everyone still like interested in transitioning the Vel Riders to Daggerheart?

Speaker D: Is that still we need to change?

Speaker C: Yeah I like Daggerheart.

Speaker B: So we have to get off of every two op.

Speaker C: Oh that's not secret interest.

Speaker D: Like no one can fail and look pretty good at.

Speaker B: That's super.

Speaker A: Just develop a coin sucking magnet.

Speaker B: And then too after once we wrap that the obelisk thing up there for that piece of art and I filmed this discuss as a table what we want to do for the rest of this. I guess for the. For your guys's main current main characters figure out what we want to do with that.

Speaker A: For Audrey Diabolus are pretty much the quest lines gone out. There's no way he would be able to take out one on his own. And now that the champion's been chosen then doesn't want to go down that route.

Speaker B: No.

Speaker D: Once we figured out more about the guy we're not biting him out.

Speaker A: So if anything after capping out the and getting into that one tunnel where there's a point I don't know what else is there. You'd probably end up looking for information either.

Speaker D: From.

Speaker A: The White Dragon or Nook.

Speaker C: And it's like.

Speaker A: Well while keeping in back of his mind that gotta get coins. Everything will change. I'll be strong enough to actually do something. Like I just gotta get the coins and whatever hell will come back.

Speaker B: Yeah. There's like yeah, like there's the Mithra storyline. Yeah. Then there's Audrey's line and then I don't. I haven't. I. I need to talk to Wes about Cash. I have an idea for his. If he's done with cash Jock is gonna be Tony Stark now. Build weapons for the war.

Speaker A: Yeah, build weapons.

Speaker D: Build bigger stuff. After having two meetings of deities in like one day.

Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.

Speaker D: Like oh crap, there's bigger stuff. Let's build. You gotta build bigger.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: With Cash. I can see where he played a little too much with the warp stone and liked it room we were down in the cave like how long?

Speaker B: Like a year.

Speaker A: So every day. How many times should we roll back time? It's like got a mutation. Don't like this one that got a mutation.

Speaker B: Yeah, he did it every day.

Speaker D: Like he can only do that once a day.

Speaker B: That's basically what.

Speaker D: And so he did it every day. Like do I like the mutation.

Speaker B: No.

Speaker D: And go back.

Speaker B: Yeah. If you look at it change. It talks about that too.

Speaker A: There's so many roles with fear. You still did a lot of damage. And having a guardian who can crit four or five times on any given night.

Speaker D: Yeah, I know.

Speaker B: It's like fear crits. I do hope.

Speaker A: Is this for work or film, Jake?

Speaker B: For work.

Speaker C: Katrina's come with me.

Speaker B: Oh.

Speaker C: It'D be fun. She's not dead over that direction, so then she can work remote. She'll do a little bit of work controlling Stanford.
