====== Session 14.2025.01.18 ====== {{ :savacola:campaign_one:session.14.2025.01.18.mp3 | Recording}} ===== AI Transcribed Audio ===== Speaker A: I might see the one thing that really forces me into Linux is I'm just not ready to have a lot of AI. Speaker B: Yeah, most test site's not even good. Speaker C: Yeah, it's just a dumb chatbot Apple enabled. It's optional for theirs, but I enabled it. Speaker B: It's not very good. Speaker C: It's way early. It feels like beta. Speaker A: Well, that's what you're supposed to use customers for. Speaker C: Yeah, exactly. Speaker B: We have a product. So true. Speaker A: There's one thing I've learned from Windows is that on the data. Speaker C: So. Speaker B: Thank you. Speaker C: That big software internal. That's why most of them, when they want to make a big change, they buy a company and then just an integrate. Speaker A: That PDF fillable PDF that is just messed up their. Your stats are linked with the notes. Speaker C: Yes. Speaker A: In your name and. Yeah, that's just. Speaker C: I can't use the note section. Speaker A: No. Well, you can, but it overwrites your stats up on top. Speaker B: It does. Speaker A: In your name. Speaker C: I did that because I. I saw there was like a zero in one of the fields. I'm like, oh, well. I just backed the zero out and started writing some stuff and I came up and like my strength had this really tiny text stuck inside. Speaker B: Yeah. And the. Speaker C: The pips for Lifeblood and that stuff, they don't seem to. Yeah. Edit them. I can add but I can't subtract. Maybe that's because that's the menu. Speaker B: I'm sorry. Oh, it's not a big deal. Speaker A: I found my name showing up in different spots and my profession was showing up in different spot. It's like that. That shouldn't be there. Go clean it out and totally mess up the formatting and then it's so. I'm sorry. Speaker C: Like the pips, those are stuck there and you can't remove them. I can add pips and it doesn't uncheck, but. But these ones were already in there. I can't remove them. Speaker B: That's special. Yeah. I've printed. Everyone should have a live bread because you'll want to use that anyways. Because you can't mark the damage properly in the PDF anyways. Okay. It's just a stupid checkbox thing. Speaker C: Yeah, it's. The gearbox is. Speaker A: I just feel like a bad salesman. Hey, look, I brought you the best thing since sliced bread. I'm sorry, man, I'm wrong. It's all stale. Don't trust it. Speaker C: You think after all this time with PDFs that editing them would be like standard across apps, but it's not. I've had some of them actually tell me that I had to use after that's paid tool to edit it or some feature in it where it's like no, you need Adobe Pro. Ouch. They're probably like some security features. So valuations. Speaker A: I started looking for the PDF abilities not in different software when I noticed I could do Fox it for free and it was only 20 meg. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: But Adobe wanted me to install theirs and it was like 250 make. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: I think they pulled the same thing that Windows started doing. You get all the versions of their software and your key just unlocks certain abilities. But if you ever decide to upgrade, you got it. Speaker C: That makes sense. Speaker A: But if you never need it, it's just sit back. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker C: Back in the old days when they had the Quake 2 demo CDs that went out and actually had the full versions of like three games on it from iu whoever it was. So they came out with a crap for it. And so everybody wanted this know $2 demo CD because it had all the games on it. Like oh, just rip that out and they'll only know it's a demo. You don't know computer people. Speaker A: That's the secret level. Speaker C: Yeah, secret level. Speaker B: Watched all of those but the last two most so many. Speaker C: The what? Speaker B: Which one? The secret level. Oh yeah. Amazon Prime. Bombs of hard Just like the heck. Speaker C: I like the. The Warhammer one was fun. Speaker D: Warhammer one was good. Speaker B: Warhammer and Dungeons and Dragons have been my favorite. And then same the conc I Concord. Speaker D: Concord is pretty good. Speaker B: Oh, it's pretty good. Speaker D: All right. Speaker B: It's like why did you make a hero shooter? Speaker D: Make a document show that happened that day Conquer. Yeah, they spent like 200. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker C: That'd be an amazing series to go through different games like behind the scenes. The ones like successful. Speaker D: That's what I like about no clip on YouTube. It's like they'll do documentaries and actually go talk to the devs. But I hope they do one on Concord. Speaker C: That would be cool. Speaker D: There's the history of it is not because they had like TV shows and movies planned for Concord and it's like what? How'd this turn into a hero shooter? Speaker C: I mean people get like, like reactive when they see another game come out. That's a challenge. They're like, oh, this is going to challenge our bottom line. So we have to change. Speaker D: I'm guessing it was Sony management. Probably came in was like making a live service hero shooter. Speaker B: Yep. Speaker D: They're like we're making this. They're like, no. And like in a Halo tree. Speaker C: It's probably not happening. Speaker D: Chasing the whales. Speaker C: I watched the thing of that just came out. Nokia unlocked a whole bunch of old documentation and they released documents of when the iPhone came out. And it was their discussions like a couple days afterwards and they had done all this analysis and stuff and I was like, this is a, a nice case of how you do analysis and react to a customer. And they were like, here's what we have. There are strengths, here's what needs to adjust, here's what we think they're going to succeed. Really well measured. But I don't think Engine like probably 95% of game companies, it seems like they're not capable of doing that kind of an exercise. It's always like really weird game choices that you're like, do you not like. Speaker B: Talk to any of your fans? Speaker C: No. Speaker A: You make it, they buy it. That's the deal. Speaker D: After the big corporation, it's just make. Speaker C: Money when you see like, oh, this studio is going to have these like game devs that were part of these awesome games and you're like, okay, who's the parent company? Like ea. Like, they're screwed. Speaker A: It's just. Speaker D: I can't imagine hardware was bad enough at Microsoft. I can't imagine software game dev hardware was stupid and that was like fixed because you had hardware like this is it. Whereas games is like, do whatever. Speaker C: Their game dev seems to have a little more sense than business units because they've had some successes there. But there's still that artificial pressure to move faster than you really need to. It's like what happens? Just complete the game when it's gone. Speaker D: And then the hardware side, I'm like, we have this release date. Yeah, but this stuff doesn't work. This release date. It's like no one knows it's even out. Like they haven't said anything. Speaker C: That's why Starfield wasn't fully baked. Speaker B: Yeah. Oh, for sure. Speaker D: Can't believe. My guess is that year it got delayed. They didn't really have much of a game and then it was like, you need to ship this. Speaker C: You're like, just make this fair. Speaker B: Yeah, but I mean it's. Speaker C: But it's funny because I can see that it's going to get better with time, but mostly through the fans. Speaker B: Yeah, no, I'll be curious if they. Speaker D: Do it this year. Speaker B: Actually enjoyed the game expansion. Expansion. Yeah. Speaker C: There's actually some cool story. It's just funny. They're like, they're doing the Star Citizen thing and not matching certain things where it's like here's this massive new update and all these fixes that come with it. And then like I have this one of the characters heads, whatever in my game just goes invisible. Just her head. Speaker D: That's amazing. Speaker C: Like, and it's just this bug that's been there forever. And they had talked about it being patched and it's still there. So they had the new expansion drop. And so I'm taking her on this mission and her head's gone. Like how do you. After like a year and a half, how does this not affect that other people have the same bug? Speaker A: Because it's a death knife. It's a dull helmet. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker C: It's a special feature. Speaker A: If you find your head then I don't know, maybe you're just released from that reality. Speaker C: She found a genie in a bottle and the cursed wish was she asked for a cloak of invisibility. But it was only about this big. Yeah. Speaker A: That ring true. Unfortunately it probably shows up on everybody else's screen. Speaker C: But yeah. That's a protective ones to keep vision. Speaking of hardware. Yeah. 5000 series cars. Two. Two brand for the 1590. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker D: No thanks. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker A: I was hoping the prices would drop when people didn't really mind for crypto. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker D: They're gonna keep going up. These people are dumb enough to keep buying them. Speaker C: Yeah. And there's unfortunately there's this big like AI agent push right now too. And all it is is a fancy lln. Yeah. That is stitched to automation. Most of it's like not. But it's really. It's not for the big. But some of it's pretty cool. But that's. There's just more AI pushes than ignore cards for. Speaker B: Right. Speaker A: As I get older, I'm waiting for the Luddite versions of Septic. No, the video card without all the AI stuff because you don't need it. Speaker B: We'll come full circle. So you might get lucky with Intel. Yeah. Speaker C: Intel's actually making really fast progress on. Speaker B: There with the arc chips. Speaker C: Is that they're fun. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker D: Oh, it's crazy because like the build a computer, it's cheaper to like go to pre built than actually like build it yourself anymore. Speaker C: Which is sad. Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker B: It's just crazy. Speaker C: Actually. Bryce went out this last time and it was pretty close. Like which is kind of scary. It's like how are you guys making profit? Speaker D: They have special deals for video. Speaker B: They're getting the actual price that video cards probably used to be. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker B: Yep. Speaker D: Let me build a top of the line computer for like 600 bucks. Speaker C: NZXT started doing a subscription for PC and gamers. Nexus went in and tore on the new one. Was like, here's how much you'll pay for the life of that PC. Here's what they promised and here's what they actually delivered. It was pretty messed up. Your computer is getting to the point where it's the price of a decent used vehicle. All right, are you ready? Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker B: Did the role play point so you guys could spend. That's. I print anything on it. Yeah, you can do. You can still do like the plus one to roll. You just spend as many as you want to keep bumping that pull. Speaker C: It's one to one. Speaker B: Yeah. And then you can spend two to refill an arcane phase psionic point. You know, whatever. When you need to refill five, you can refill a spent hero point. And also you can spend five to use your character's weird power without rolling. Otherwise you get to roll. And then if you want it. And then when you can have 10 to gain an XP point to like only level, like when you guys get to downtime and can level up, you can spend five more XP points. We'll see how that is. And if you guys have ideas for stuff too, let me go. And then your weird power. Still know if what we'll do they'll be the corruption mechanic thing or not. I don't know. Maybe that would just be a cost of the six minus. Yeah, let's. Yeah, we'll do that. And it'll just be equal to your result. Speaker C: You kind of like the really baddest in the fade. Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. So that's. Yeah. So on six minus. Yeah, your market corruption, that's just equal to your result. So that you have corruption equal to your resolve. Something that happens to whatever is however much corruption you already had. If you still remember, it's fine. It's not critical. It's six. Or I guess it's E Finance, which is in the. In the system to fill. But yeah, when you do that, I did kind of kind of copy the Dragon Age magical mishap thing when you fail. So there's that plus eMark corruption. Then I named all the calendar months and days. We're in the months and months though. Speaker D: Except the night rain. Speaker B: Yep. Speaker D: Everything's just wet soggy. Speaker B: Yep. And what is today? Speaker A: Sound of your shoes walking across the street. Speaker B: I think today's Buck Day. Buck day. Yeah. There's Gator Day. Miter day. Speaker D: Oh, boy. Speaker B: Croak Day. Speaker C: Leech Day. Speaker B: Bog Day. Read Day. Muck Day. Glow Day. And fend day all small. Just play with and then. Yeah. So on your guys's charts, make sure you cross out you. The extra life limit resolve. You cross those out. So we're here. I guess your numbers equal what you. So. Because the way you mark damage is kind of weird. I just want to. Speaker A: Not in. Speaker B: Yeah, so because you'll actually have to write in this. You'd want to do. You would like. So if this is like your max, you would actually cross out this way. Yeah. You. Speaker A: Because the critical five, I figured that is included in. Speaker B: It's a separate like track. Speaker A: Oh, it is. Speaker B: Yeah. So. So like on here, I don't know if you can even see this, but the. It's left. From the left to the right. You mark off the. Speaker C: I mean, you'll never use it because each of these isn't a pip. It might be a slash. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker C: Or a star or whatever. Speaker B: Yes. You want to do that for your roof resolve also. Speaker D: And these are markers as well. These ones. They're just fine tipped. Speaker B: Yeah. So you can actually write. They'll actually dry erase. Or you can pull the paper out of the. Out of the thing and write on it if you want. You have one too, Steve down there. It's a little easier to write. Speaker A: So used to using this one. Speaker B: Yeah. Probably actually run into combat tonight. Speaker C: Who knows? Speaker B: Like when you take fatigue damage, you actually mark a slash into your far right open slot. And then the other damage is from the left to the right. Worry about marking it when we actually start taking some. You took a fatigue dam. A lasting fatigue damage. Yeah. So on your far right column of your resolve, you would make a star, essentially. Or like an extra little. An extra line through it. And that's a lasting damage. Speaker A: I get a good night's sleep and then I gotta do it again. Figure out what that other coin does. Speaker B: And then healing, basically only when you sleep. Except for right after Call Beth. Okay, that. So. So last time we converted our weird Weird west characters to heaven. And then Orzine told Audrey how to unlock the power, the Scorches Token. Then he was able to unlock one of them. Then Orzine offered to become your guys to patron and let him out of his prison by destroying the six obelisks. Speaker A: That are keeping here. Speaker B: Then Jack got Echo Chart. Do got a Hearthstone. And then Audrey got the Sovereign key. Did you see your Discord? Speaker C: The Discord post? Speaker D: Okay. Speaker A: Yeah, I actually printed it out. Speaker B: Okay, nice. And then let's see. Orzine gave Audrey a clockwork pigeon named Horo Logum. I practice Pronouncing to collect knowledge and communicate with him. And he did tell tells you guys that you can put like things of information into the pigeon like books, scrolls, pages, etc. The pigeon will eat them. Then you can get leave voice messages in the pigeon as well. And it takes 24 hours once you send it away for it to come back and you can. And the. And he also said. He also. I just call it. I just called the Clockwork Row. Yeah. So you guys are still in Orzine's throne room. So what are you guys doing? And if you have any like items of questions about your items too. Speaker C: Talk. Speaker B: About those if needed. Speaker A: So when it's time to leave. Are we just kicked out or do we have to go swim with the Gator again? Speaker B: He. He kind of like. He chuckles a little bit like well do. And it is like raspy Texas voice. He just goes well if you want to go swimming through there again, I won't stop you. But you can also use this door over here. And he like points and you see this like arch open up behind you like in the. In the. In the wall. Speaker A: Can we use this come back again. Speaker B: Later. Speaker A: Or is this a one way trick? Speaker B: I suppose. Just let Ro know so I know when you're going to come back. Speaker A: Don't get me wrong. If I need to swim with Gator. Speaker D: To come back, I'll. Speaker A: I'll probably do it. Speaker C: But. Speaker A: I'll just bring a nice big fat cow with me. Speaker B: Hey, she'd appreciate it. You got a book or whatever. Give it to him. Speaker A: How many books? If I sat roose in a massive. Speaker B: Library I'd be much appreciated. Speaker A: Would Roe be able to bring back everything in the library or. Speaker B: As far as I know. Speaker A: Just books. Speaker C: You're about to make the church really mad. Speaker A: If I'm gonna do it, I gotta do it right. Speaker B: Books and scrolls and for things of information. Speaker C: Grab. You send me a thing for the teleporter thing. Speaker B: But I don't see where it's at. It's in discord. I just added you. It's in the Savicola. Speaker A: They're all listed together. Speaker B: Yeah I can computer. Speaker C: Looking at it. That's going to be a real fat bird. Speaker A: Well that's what I was thinking. Speaker B: Huge body. Speaker A: Still only takes 24 hours. Speaker B: That. What are you guys off to do it now. Speaker A: 100 miles in one of six directions. Speaker D: You go any north towards that coin. Speaker B: Yeah that's. Yeah, I forgot. Yeah. Speaker D: I think there was a coin north. Speaker B: You have for the. Your map is show a coin in the up in the Fortress of Light. And then when you touched his. Your coin to his map there showed it. There was another one, like moving south. Speaker D: That was a train or something. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: Well, we were also talking about taking out the pillars. Those are all within about 100 miles of. Speaker D: We have to find one though. He doesn't know. So we may have to go to the town or city, whatever. Speaker B: Yeah, he said the church. Probably. Mace probably still has their locations in their archives. Speaker D: That's probably where we're going. Because a radius. 100 mile radius is a lot of search. And. Speaker A: Well, we got boom coin. That'll at least get us through the front door. Speaker B: Yep. Speaker A: We might want Doc to set up a getaway someplace. I'm just trying to figure out why one of the coins would be in. Speaker B: It's just hell. Writer probably. Speaker A: Or one of them. Speaker B: Missionaries are selling priests. Speaker D: I'm selling one of them. Speaker B: Or somebody probably found it. Speaker A: But do they know what they have? Speaker B: They probably know it's got the weird on it. And that's enough for them to lock it up. Most likely. Speaker A: I hope they don't do the same for me. Speaker D: We'll get you out. We have friends outside that might help. Speaker A: They just make a glorious mess of things. Speaker D: That we have those rings. I think we're gonna put mounts in. Speaker B: You put your horse in it. Yeah. Speaker D: You put a dog in it. Speaker A: You're in the middle of a hall. Speaker B: Call out your horse. Speaker C: Guess we need a quick getaway. This fills up the entire hallway. I'm sorry. Speaker A: Horse. Close the door. Call your horse. Speaker C: There's no horses that way. Speaker A: I just don't. Speaker D: I think so. Speaker A: Think of something else. Speaker D: There. No. Speaker B: No. Speaker C: What the. These extra little boxes are. Speaker B: Those are for scale. Which. Oh, we haven't talked about that. Speaker C: Which. Speaker B: Yeah, which. Your horses wouldn't have any scaled abilities. Those are pretty much. Oh, you can use. You can use that for your own stats. It doesn't. And those aren't going to change those. Yeah, they won't. Okay. Speaker C: So. Speaker B: Skill. Yeah. So when you guys walk through the door. You up here in the ocean road where you fought the mechanical spiders there. There was no. I mean the water was draining out of this room, so there's still like. There's like maybe like a quarter inch. Like there's water running over the floor, but it's not like filled up. Speaker A: Well, considering the rain, you just might. Look, the drain got flooded. Do we have a tied with a gate? That's the first time we. We came down. Speaker B: I think you had one tied to like a Root or something. Not to the gate itself. So like you have. Yeah. Speaker A: Something to climb up against. Speaker B: Yeah. Yep. So you climb up there and then now you're at the the bottom of the ten foot hole. Yeah. Speaker A: Will be happy to see us hopefully. Roughly how long what do we think we're done in a few hours. Few days. Speaker B: It wasn't any. You guys didn't sleep or anything so it probably just a couple hours to do to do all of that let's say. Speaker A: Yeah I figured the time dilation if there was any that is a beloved places. Speaker B: No I'll say it's a like approaching afternoon. Speaker A: Still raining. Speaker B: Yo. Not a downfall anymore though. It's just rain. So yeah. As you guys climb up you are greeted by womanhood. It's not your horse never tied up relatively close by just like sitting curled up near the top of the hole. And as a low like rumble growling you come up but otherwise doesn't pay much attention to you. Northwest well you can go straight over land. There's a hundred forty miles if you want to go straight to Whisper Post which is just south of Rattle City to catch the train to into the fortress. Speaker A: The fortress is over here. Speaker B: Yeah. Here I'll do the figure. So you guys have a little more idea of where you're. Yeah. So you're down here. Then you hit this is Whisper Post and then this is Rattle City. And then so you catch the train in Rattles City and go into the Fortress of Light which is up there. Which is actually. The Fortress of Light is actually like a mountain fortress. It's like the entire mountain has been turned into the headquarters. You'd know there's like 200,000 people operate live in that place. It's probably one of the largest populations though populated cities. So yeah if you want to go straight over land. 150 to whisper. So probably like five days on horse. Speaker A: How fast could the the hounds travel it? Speaker B: They do 40 miles a day. So you like to cut a day off if you want to ride down. Speaker D: I be d the horses in the rings. Speaker A: You up for that? Speaker C: I mean sort of but yeah but. Speaker A: Considering you helped heal at Mosey. Yeah he might give you. Speaker B: Now say when you whoops and you reach out like you would just reach out to Leu and be like I just know. And then like Mosi Chogun. And then you see like two more. You see Chogun and Tahoma come running. Running. There you go like all kind of like stand up in, kneel down, wait for you to like climb up on their Fore leg and hop on their back and grab a hold of some spikes and cartilage. Speaker D: Put my horse in the ring. Speaker B: Yeah. So you guys put your horses in. Speaker A: The ring and that's the horses and all the gear on the horse. Speaker B: Yeah, everything on the horse is good. You like, you like go like this and like this like, like sapphire colored beam like shoots out and she goes and get sucked into the ring. Speaker A: That's going to be an interesting conversation later. Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker C: Maybe to the horse. Just no time passing, they suddenly go, I'm somewhere else. Speaker A: They're there now. No, you're fine, you're fine. Speaker C: Put the blinders on. Speaker A: I need to switch back. When you get close to Whispering Pine, I don't know if we're going to need to restock provisions or. Speaker B: So look, Pooh does ask you desta. He goes non stop or stop near dirt. Speaker A: How are we feeling? I found a little girl where it's like running through the night or do we want to make camp uncomfortable? Speaker B: They are you like when you climb up on, you actually realize that like there is like a spot on their back for a human to sit long drinking, sleep. Speaker A: You want to sleep on the back and let them run through the night. Speaker D: Yep. Speaker C: That's a trick. All right. Speaker B: So yeah, yeah, you'll have to. Yeah, you'll have to tie yourselves to the. They don't have like anything to actually. Speaker A: Like get between the spines and hang your arms back. Speaker B: Well actually, since these things were engineered. Yeah, actually, yeah, we'll do that. So actually when you like go and like sit up, there's like, like these like little bits of like folds like unfold like around your legs and like kind of like cover up over your legs so your like legs are protected and they kind of like hold you there. Speaker C: Yeah, they are engineered. Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. So. Speaker A: Through the night, probably get within what, 10 miles. Or do we want to bypass Whispering? Speaker C: And. Speaker B: So I guess you guys. I guess you guys would probably like. Well Audrey, you would probably know that that's like. It's like a fort. Speaker A: Whispering is. Speaker B: Yeah, it's like a think of like the old west like fort. It has like a garrison, but then there's also like like the logging stuff. And from the spider, the spotted spider would pass through there on its way up into the, to the railroad. So there are people there. But it is mostly like a garrison supply fort. Speaker A: But at some point we'll probably want to get off the hounds because I'd imagine running those into camp would be. Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Speaker C: I don't think that would Be a favorable way or we just be too. Speaker B: Much top of the town. So yeah, I'll say. Like as you ride through the the night, you get up within like 40 miles of. He does the food checks and like, you know, he put a check while you're riding, but then he's like breakfast or, you know, need food. Speaker A: Food sounding pretty good. Speaker D: Yeah. You have some fun. Speaker A: And then there would also be the rhetorical question to how about you? Speaker B: You need food. Speaker A: You've been running all night. Speaker B: It's just weakest. Yeah. So they slowed out and then like stop. So you guys can like eat rations and stretch or whatever you need to for however long you want to. Speaker A: I'm gonna have to put a whole deer in with my horse. I have it on the back. And that way when we get done. Speaker D: There you go. Speaker A: Figure out a way to feed this growing crew. Speaker B: So it's like the. Roughly the morning, maybe a few hours into sunrise of the next day. And here, thunder. There's a thunderstorm. You have a brief respite as the rain actually stopped for a bit. But you can see in here, thunderstorm rolling in from the east. Speaker A: How bad is thunder in this world? Is it's like a sign of we should really seek cover, or is it just a loud noisemaker that people generally ignore and push through? Speaker B: I'd say it's kind of like thunderstorms here. Like. Like if you're like in it, you want to be sheltering. But if you're like on the outskirts or whatever, you know, a couple miles from it, then it's neat to watch. But if you're in it now, I'd say it's probably near like tornado like ceiling. Speaker A: Okay. Speaker B: Then. Yeah, I'd say the area too, like as it's approaching, it gets like that weird stillness. I don't know if you've ever been heavy storms or even like the tornado like weather. It's a very eerie feeling. Everything just gets like still before it kicks off. But yeah, it has that feeling which you guys have always experienced that because they're not uncommon, but they are quite violent. Yeah. So you eat rations or whatever. I assume you have rations. Yeah. Speaker A: Oh, it's rain. Even the hard tax bounce off. Put some jerky chunks in it. Speaker C: Now it's even more chewy. Speaker A: Too bad we don't have any eggs. Speaker D: Shacks pretty far away. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker C: That was your item you wish for is a ability to teleport to the egg shack. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: Cornucopia that always has eggs. Speaker C: Or it just steals the eggs magically. Yeah, out there is always empty. Speaker B: Yeah, that shack's like a day away. Speaker C: No, I could put the teleporter. Speaker B: And. Speaker C: Then we have to run. Speaker A: That's going to be a challenge is finding a place to put the whole main beacon. Speaker C: Just cover it up. Speaker A: Yes. But as far as a location, if we want to do it before we get to the post. If you want to do it before we get on the train. Speaker C: Yeah, because stuff's not going to bother it if it's out the woods. It's not tasty. So animals aren't going to smell the even half there yet. Speaker A: Yeah, humans are fickle. Speaker C: Hey look. Found a rock. Speaker A: It's shiny. Speaker B: As long as it doesn't get turned off. You'd teleport to wherever it's going to anyways. Speaker C: Yeah, exactly. This is not our house. Speaker B: Supplies. Who are you? Speaker D: Who are you? Speaker A: I asked first. Put your gun down. Speaker C: There's some thief in a jail cell. Anyway, all our courses in this 10 by 10 cell. Speaker A: Drop right into warehouse 13. Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. Speaker B: Yep. So you guys will set off again. So you'll arrive. Well, I guess. Are you guys going to the fort? Are you going past? Are you just gonna ride straight for Rattle City? Speaker A: We made good time. Speaker C: I mean. Speaker A: If, if we ride by, I mean we really don't need to reprovision and we only had days ration. Speaker B: So. Yeah, if you guys else actually I guess right through the night, I want you guys mark two fatigue damage on your. Your lifeblood to the far left. Yeah. Or far right. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: And that's lifeblood. Yeah. In lifeblood far right is just a slash. Speaker C: Like. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker C: Were you covering it like what goes in there? Just so I understand. Speaker B: Yeah. So on your. Well resolve or light flood, this will be light. But it's just your physical exhaustion when you take 15 damage which is typically caused by other stuff and it does heal like generally it's very fast always after combat. But for the purposes of this it makes more sense that you're not actually taking like lasting damage. This will heal as soon as you actually like get to rest. But yeah, so it goes on the far right. Fatigue damage is always to the far right and you just mark it. It's in as you go. But normal and lasting damage start on the far left and move in. But yeah. So you guys still have two fatigue you talked about. Speaker C: There was like slashes and there is. Speaker B: Yeah. So fatigue is slash. Then normal damage is just an X. And then lasting damage is like a star. So like an X with an extra line. And when you mark Lasting damage that always goes to the. So if you have. If you took in like all. All normal damage and you take a lasting damage that actually goes to the far right. So you'd mark. Make that lasting damage and then you'd add another mark of normal damage on the right. It's. It's different compared to what we've done. Speaker A: Before you write again, can I try to figure out what the second Glen does? Speaker B: Yes. Yeah. That's part of your camp. And also too like Le Pooh checked in with you guys and. And then like an hour later, the whole pack shows up and there's two, like two deers in their mouth. So they all hunt. So you guys can have a hunt and like a chunk of a piece of deer to eat and then the rest of the pack eats. See, while you guys are chomping 6. Speaker A: I'm going to do a lot of RP plumes that might be worth spending Hero Point 4. Go for the Revolve. Speaker B: So if you spent the hero point and you still fell, then you would get your RP point, but you wouldn't get two RPS for double B. Can you reset the roll using your burn your drill point? You can use your RP points to bump that up if you want. If you want to spend them to get it to where you need to. Speaker A: I think I might need to. I might need to spend four points. I rolled a five both times. A four and a one. It's like I didn't feel as bad when at least I had to hit a seven, but I've been so far away from seven. Speaker B: Right. Speaker A: So, yeah, let's go ahead and we'll burn some RP to find out what this coin does. Although with my rolls, I'm not going to be able to use whatever they do. Speaker B: There you go. Yeah. As you concentrate on that and reach into it with your. Your mind and the touch of the. Speaker D: And when. Speaker B: That's. Yeah, that's the other one. That's the less weird one. Speaker A: How far away or is it as far? As long as I'm concentrating it so. Speaker B: It'S with the strength of men equal to like. So. Yeah, it's. It's so it'd be them like maybe like people pushing it. Okay. Essentially. So not. It wouldn't. It wouldn't be like violent at least I guess I'm p. Okay. Speaker A: And that's in feet. Speaker B: Meters. Yeah, it's feeder yards. Speaker A: So the force of mine plus one go around. But it doesn't really say how far, just directly. Speaker B: Yeah, I'm like probably like small. The smaller the object, the more violent it's going to get shoved away. Speaker A: Okay. Speaker B: Kind of deal like because you are hitting it with like that many men just shove it like all at once or push it and then. Yeah. And also when you go to actually use the power in a coin, you'll do another arcane roll. Yeah. And then if you roll 11 plus you can use it again. Otherwise it will need to reach it recharges on sunrise. And then if you. And then the failure just fails to cast it doesn't use it up or anything. Speaker A: I just get a headache. Speaker B: You won't get hurt if you try to use it. That's just unlocking it was the painful part. Except for being more in the spirit of scorches is probably more like the thing affects you. Speaker A: I go to click on something and I'm pushed back. That part. Yeah, I could see that. Speaker B: Yeah. Let's see. So the ones that where it makes sense. Speaker A: We need to jump here. Okay. Hold on tight. Speaker D: See what happens. Speaker B: There we go. Yeah. That would be more in line with scorches. Being a troll. Speaker A: I won't know toy that I know it does. Speaker B: Yeah. So Audrey unlocked another the second coin. The. The talons didn't bring deer for them. And you guys. So you guys could eat some raw deer. I guess. Unless you want to cook it 510. Speaker C: Doctor to eat. Speaker A: Do the hounds prefer it raw or cooked? Speaker B: Eat it. They don't care. Yeah, they're more just like. Like crunchy bones and all. Yeah. Sound of a cat with a mouse eating corn fl. Yeah. So then. So you guys. If you. If so are you guys bypassing whisper and going straight to rattle? It's 80 miles. So if you wanted to ride again through. You'll take two more fatigue damage. If you want to ride non stop again without sleeping because you've been awake. Speaker D: For like sleep on. Speaker A: On the train. Speaker D: Sleep on the dog sort of. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: So yeah, it'll be another two. Fatigue damage. Speaker D: Might as well. Speaker B: If you want to ride within you know like half a day and then swap to horses. I don't know. Speaker A: It's so smooth. Fall asleep on the horse. Speaker C: Yep. Speaker B: So you guys ride within 15 miles of rattle City. You guys have entered into storm jungle territory. That's the name of the region. Speaker C: This region. Speaker A: So if I release the hounds sense my thoughts range is irrelevant or do we have to try and figure out a place to. Speaker B: No, he just. Yeah, he's just like when you. Yeah, yeah. You guys had that discussion. But yeah, the range is irrelevant. Speaker A: Just Now I'm really gonna put that to the test. Be a good boy. Don't cause any trouble. And watch out for people in the mountains. Speaker B: He just goes, guess Dustin, call Wendy. And then they just like immediately fade into like the underbrush. So you guys are like right on the edge of like kind of like more like grassy land, savannah stuff and like the tempered swamp area. They disappear off into the push. Yep. You outpace the thunderstorm and arrive at Battle City and Riddle. And it's probably like like 10 a. 10am you guys travel the center line here basically is the train track that runs through here. And you guys are basically kind of like coming in from down here, this southern road into here. Yeah, it's a fairly large scene, around 6,000 people. That's a good stopping point between like Phantom bank and the north. And then in its sister city on the way across the territory to the fortress. So as you guys can get here. What do you want to do? Yeah, do you want. Let me check if they have. They do have. They have regular taverns, fancier tower, like. Speaker A: Oh, depending on the level of exhaustion. Please take care of my horse into the day. Speaker B: Or you can hit a low, low quality one. Speaker A: No organ donations, no. Speaker D: Onion husk soup. Speaker B: Yeah, I'll say. For as far as like credit ratings, the low end is one. The common one is. Will be two. And then if you want like the upper one and not like to just be like normal cost, it would be a credit rating of three. Speaker D: I have four. Speaker A: Others. Speaker B: Too young. Speaker A: It's not too. Speaker B: Oh. And then like the upper class would be four and then the luxury would be like the next. Speaker C: Is that just assuming you just have the money. Speaker B: Yeah, that's. It's essentially what it is. It's. There's. We're not really not going to take. Speaker D: Us to the nice one. Or are we going. Speaker C: I hear you guys negotiating about your rooms and I just come up and split between you and go put some money on the counter like we need three rooms. And I took my hat and wink. Speaker D: That was a nice one. Speaker B: Oh yeah. So yeah, because there is. There is in the luxury quarters. There is a luxury tavern here. Or yeah, let's call them towers because saloons, hotels, whatever. Speaker C: Yeah, I'm heading butt kick lately. Let's go. Let's go someplace respectable. Look at you and say. I use that term loosely. Speaker D: There's the Waffle House, the Denny's and the Cracker bar. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker A: Respectable, I think. Speaker B: Although. Speaker C: Yeah, but she's Waffle House. Speaker B: Never been to one. Speaker A: They're Good. Speaker B: Ch's. Speaker C: Dad will call it Waffle House Theater. Every type of person comes in there. Speaker B: Yeah. All right, so you guys are going to the luxury one. All right. It's the swinging fist. Speaker D: The luxury one. Speaker B: I say that like the prominent thing in there that you would see that there is actually like a boxing ring in the. When you like come in, like you. Yeah, you. You come in and then like, it's actually almost like you come in at like the top of like a coliseum kind of like, deal. And like down in the center is like a boxing ring. And there's probably room for like a hundred people in here. And then like off or on the edges up there is. It's like the bar. And then like, and then you can go up and like, you can check in and get rooms on like the third and fourth floors. Sleep. Speaker C: Sleep. Speaker A: There's always them. Speaker B: Yeah. And then of course, they. You can get food here or you could actually go out to like a restaurant. There's place would be big enough for a restaurant. Okay. Speaker A: Smell it. Something that's wet crossed with a horse and a hound. Speaker B: Whatever those things smell like actually that. Like you walk in the door and you pay for your rooms and the attendant goes, bath or over there. Proceed there before you go anywhere else or you will be kicked out. They give you like. They probably gave you like, get a. Speaker A: Cake of soap or something. Or am I supposed to drown my sorrows in the D? Speaker B: They kind of like give you like a huff and like, what do you take us for? It's all provided for, sir. Really. Speaker C: Wait, what? Just don't need anything in your own. Speaker B: Whoa. Speaker C: Unless we bring it in. Speaker B: Yeah, the. The person's name at the desk. Yeah, the front desk guy. His name's Vincent. Older gentleman, but yeah, it's kind of like hoity toity. It's just like he gave you like the side eyes and then Doc gave him the coin and he's like. Then he like, relaxed a little bit and he's like, all right, to the bath house with you before you proceed anywhere else in our establishment. And then when you like mention like, it's all provided. Speaker A: New set of clothes too. This is all I got. Speaker B: You can visit the tailor in town if you need new clothes. Speaker A: This is going to be the first time I've ever taken a bath with my clothes on. Speaker C: Give him like a slide over, like a tiny bit more to the guy and I just say, I need you to be our friend. Speaker B: Of course, sir. Speaker A: Of course. It's so rainy. Even if I did take A bath with my clothes on. They'd still be wet when I went outside. Speaker B: You know, it's like, what else? You just come check with me. And he's like the desk worker. Like, head. Like, I guess, desk worker. Concierge. Yeah. So as you guys, I just take your stuff to the. Your room, get cleaned up. Speaker D: Your rooms. Speaker B: And then you're greeted by a. You go to the bathhouse. You're greeted by a dove and then head bath person. So if you need anything or personal scrubbing services, please let me know. I'll have those assigned to you as fast as possible. Speaker D: I'd be like, I'm good, but my friend over there would not tell him. I'd be like, I'd desperate on the down low. It's Audrey's, like, first time one of these. Speaker C: All we hear is a yeah. Speaker D: And I'd wait till Audrey, like, probably went into his own to be like, he'll need it. That's a joke. Speaker B: Yep. And, like, they're kind of like. They're, like, curtained off. Like, probably like, closer to, like. Like a Turkish bath house. Like, there is, like, kind of like a general area where you can, like, hang out with other people, but then they do have, like, actual tubs or scrubbing rooms. Speaker D: Just the naked old dudes in there. Speaker B: There probably would be talking business. Yeah. Speaker D: They don't care. Speaker B: So it would probably be a mix of everything. Speaker A: In which case is obvious. Go on. If there's, like, a mix. Almost like a coed bath. He's like, big cities. Speaker C: Wow. Speaker A: I don't think my mom would let me go to a place like this. Speaker B: Yeah, I'll say. Yeah, they would have, like, a coed. And then they do have, like, private, like, sections, too, if you want a private bath. But yeah, so there's kind of like a hangout room. Like, spa bath things. Speaker A: Playing board games. Speaker D: Not playing. Twisting. Speaker B: On a different floor. Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker B: But yeah. So as you guys are. Do you guys. Speaker A: Can you hold your breath? That was really impressive. Speaker B: There probably would be some people that doing. Just playing, like, doing silly stuff like that in the bath, that they're just farting around. But. Yeah. Do you guys go to, like, private ones or you just chill in the. Speaker D: I go to a private one just because it's been on the road for so long. Speaker B: Watch all the brown water go down the trail. Yeah, actually, that would. That's probably. That would probably what happens. You, like, get there. Like, Hilda looks at you and goes to the private bath first. Speaker D: Blood in the mud. Speaker B: Yep. Speaker D: I'm the gator right. Speaker B: Yeah. Your clothes would be like all tore up. It would be all raggedy. Speaker A: We plot the road. The road, was it? Speaker B: Yeah. So you guys are all getting sc. Like when you get in there, there's like, you know, there's like a set of towels, a bathrobe and like soap and crap and running water. Speaker A: Perfume bottles or something. Speaker B: Oh, what's Audrey's is going to smell like? Speaker D: All of them by the time we're done. Speaker A: Hey, doc, you know what this bottle's for? Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker B: Or over the divider. Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker A: There'S some pretty soaps in here. They look like flowers. Speaker B: So what? So who did Jock request? Speaker D: A person like to Audrey? Speaker B: Well, yeah, but no for like male or female or. Just did specify. He just said an attendant. Speaker D: That probably would have been a female. Just a mess with them. Speaker B: Jock requested any specific one that message. Speaker D: There'S a goat. You can send it. Speaker C: Do you actually suggest it probably would. Speaker D: Have as a joke, like female. If you have a goat, you could just send it. Speaker B: She would chuckle. Speaker A: Not a goat. Big cat. If somebody get cleaned. Speaker D: Enjoying themselves on the go. Speaker A: What are you doing here? Speaker D: What are you supposed to do with the goat? Speaker C: He's trying to figure it out. He has to have to use the three shows. Speaker A: So wait a minute. I get clean and you've already sent in the food. Shouldn't it be good first? Speaker C: He's just. He's just gutting the goat right there in the end. It's all over the place. Speaker D: Now we get kicked out. Speaker B: Yeah. As like I assume Jacques hung back for a minute to the request. Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker B: A personal attendant for Audrey. And then when you ask about the goat, the lady, like, it's highly unusual, but I mean if you have the money, we could probably. You may be able to get a goat if they're going to be in here long enough. Speaker D: Sure, why not? Speaker A: If our Audrey was close enough to hear that, it's like you want a goat. And it wouldn't be discreet at all. Just be like, what? Speaker B: I assume that was doctors being discreet about it. So. Yeah. So yeah. So I thought it calls over another. Speaker D: To see if they can find a goat. Speaker C: This is the beginning of them listing the things that we're doing, figuring out. Speaker D: Yeah, he'll get the bill and just be like a goat. And he'll be like, what the heck? Speaker B: And then you see her like take off out the. Speaker D: Out of this, go in my bath and just juggle on my way there. Speaker B: All right. So how long do you guys hang out in the bathroom? Speaker A: Depending on the temperature of the water Audrey might fall asleep. Speaker B: It's. They actually they have indoor plumbing and everything. So it's like warm water. It's like proper fairly modern like tubs. Speaker A: The right size where he could actually get his arms out kind of hang them over to keep from going under. He'd probably do that and fall asleep. Speaker B: It would be like the like the kind of like the standard like faucet tub. Yeah Kind of deal. And they're nice. They probably would actually have a pillow in there too. I have. Speaker C: I'd have cigars and a bottle of whiskey sent to their rooms. Speaker B: We're going to do this. Speaker C: We're going to do it. Good to show up. Speaker B: I wouldn't tell you if this show up. Speaker C: It's been a little long. Speaker D: Yo. Speaker B: Take it. Speaker A: I'll save these for later. Speaker C: They're not the best cigars. Speaker B: They're good enough for us. Speaker C: Nor the best whiskey. Speaker D: We have the best whiskey here. That thousand year old whiskey. Speaker C: That's true. We do have some of that. Speaker B: Everything would probably taste like spoiled after. Speaker A: So one bottle. Speaker B: Yeah. Yep. So I'd say like. Yeah. So Audrey falls us like actually takes a nap and probably like 30 minutes to an hour. Yeah. I'd say like 30 minutes later Audrey you get. You had a nap for like 30 minutes. So you can like take a fatigue down. You can remove one year fatigue damage. I use all you guys can remove a fatigue damage if you're hanging out in there for like pretty smoke a cigar. Oh to their bath house their bathrooms. We sent that stuff to there. Yeah. Okay. Speaker C: So everybody got cigar and a little. Speaker D: Thing to clean up all the wounds and blood and mud. Speaker B: Yeah. So you guys are so. Yeah so like Audrey. Yeah like you were. You were asleep for like 30 minutes and then the curtain like Russell's open. You just hear wakes you up and you see standing there like a 411 like young lady folding a. With a like a regular like goat. She's extremely attractive. Prepare yourself. He goes here's your. Here's your goat, sir. Speaker A: I didn't have for a goat your companion. Speaker D: Dude. Speaker A: I'd hear you. Jed. What am I supposed to do with a goat? Speaker B: That is none of my business, sir. George wanted to be. Do you need any assistance? Speaker A: Sit down the goat. You like whiskey? Speaker B: Sure. Speaker A: Let the goat go play. You can help me drink this whiskey. Speaker B: I'm not too goat in the bathroom. Speaker A: So yeah goat wandering the bath. Speaker B: She actually she tied it to one of the. But you guys would. You'd probably be close enough you'd hear it because it's not like. It's more like just like. Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker B: Privacy. Like, view. Like, you can still hear, like, what's going on. Speaker A: There's a view block, but there's something. Speaker B: Yeah. There's not, like, noise blocks or anything. Speaker A: Yeah. She's really pretty. It's like, yeah, come drink whiskey with me and kind of roll over in the tub. And it's like. So tell me about this. And how did you end up here? As I look around. Speaker B: Yeah. She would introduce herself as Nora. Her hair's up in, like, a messy bun, and she's got. And it has, like, a faint, like, light green to it. Like, color to it. She has, like, a Minnesota accent. Speaker A: Oh, God. Gee. Whitakers. Speaker B: So I guess this will. That will actually be the accent. Stormtrooper. Questions are needed. Speaker A: That's. Do you want to play a game? Do you have board games or. Speaker B: No. See? Yes. Play checkers or chess. Speaker A: Okay. After power napping for a half hour. Speaker C: Got him a. He played checker. Speaker A: Best 2 out of 3. The goat won the first game. Speaker B: Oh. Speaker A: I actually ate the pieces. We had to get it back. Speaker B: But she tells. Yeah. She, like, grew up here, and this was one of the better places to work. Speaker A: So what do you do other than deliver goats? Speaker B: Generally. Whatever clients need. Speaker A: What do they need? I obviously didn't think I needed a coat. Speaker B: Your companion did. Speaker C: Not sure which. Speaker A: Which one, because at this point, Audrey wouldn't know if it came from doctor. Speaker D: That's fair. Speaker B: Geo. I don't know. Ms. Hilda told me to fetch one for you. Speaker C: Okay. Speaker A: To which a mischievous grace, like, do goats get drunk? Speaker B: She would just talk. I don't know. Never tried to get one drunk. Speaker A: Do we want it? Speaker B: Sure. Speaker A: Part of the whiskey is going in the bowl as we're playing checkers, and we just kind of watch to see. Speaker C: What the goat does. Speaker B: It would drink it. Speaker D: True. Speaker A: But would it be a happy drunk or a mean drunk or a sleepy drunk? Speaker C: It's just ram of the crap out of everything. Speaker D: Yeah. In a big bill. Speaker C: That's the same thing you did, though, when you said, like, there was a goat and you said. And he said, In a 411, girl. But he said, In a 411, there's enough of a PA. Speaker D: I was like. Speaker C: I was escaping. I was like, that is a big goat. Like, it's. Speaker B: He's gonna die. Speaker C: He's gonna roll initiative with that thing. Speaker D: Love and thunder. I just imagine that in the hotel. Speaker B: Everybody in the fancy hotel just hears this terrible noise. Speaker A: Goat noise complaint. Speaker C: Sorry. They caught me off good. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: Nora and I are playing checkers, seeing if we can get a go drop. Speaker B: Yep. It would, it would be, it would drink and it would probably start, like, bang and making noise and probably being like, a little sloppy and probably trying to, like, eat anything it can, like, get in. Speaker D: Feed it soap when you have other problems. Speaker B: And then like, once that bottle was, like, gone. Like I slay. If you just between you and Nora and they go, if you, like, drink the whole bottle, you would just fetch another one. Speaker A: Okay. Speaker B: Just keep it like fl. Speaker A: You're pretty good checkers. I, I, this is, this is only second time I've had whiskey. It feels funny. Don't tell my posh when like, thank you and be a chuckle. Speaker B: Yep. She's laughing, like, flirting and just being like, pretty much at your beck and call. Is doing, like, anything that you like ask or playing or even doing, like, more suggestions. Speaker A: I wonder if Audrey would even pick up on what she was flirting. Speaker D: I know. Speaker A: But the laughter. You would know I was having a good time. You don't know what sort of time I'm having, but you would know I was having a good time. Speaker D: Yep. Speaker A: And the goat would confirm this until I passed out. Speaker C: Especially as the ghost's getting more noisy. I don't know what's going on with the goats. Happy. Speaker B: I would probably. I guess it depends on just how long you want to stay. Like an hour or two or three. Speaker D: Like, I would have smoked a cigar and then got out. Speaker A: Oh, Audrey's just having fun. Speaker D: Track of time and all that. Speaker B: So you guys leave and you still hear Audrey, like, laughing or the girl laughing and then goat bang occasionally. And it's all starting to sound slur except for the goat slurring. Speaker D: Yeah, yeah. No, the head lady was still out there. I just say make sure he gets to his room or sir, he's having a good time. Speaker B: She just goes, we have to. Speaker C: Please. Oh, my gosh. Speaker B: Yeah. So you guys leave. Speaker D: I'm probably heading towards the tailor or something to get exchange out some clothes or something. Speaker B: Okay. Speaker A: Something. Your words in the room. Chuckles. Don't take it wrong. I just need the bag. Speaker B: Yeah. So let me see. You guys are luxury quarter. Yeah. You like, head up front and go talk to Vincent again. He does. There's a subplane on Silk Street. Silk street district. There's a tailor. Speaker D: Eventually find out about the train. Audrey, have fun. Speaker A: At some point, be like, I think it's time for me to get out of the tent. Do you know where my room is? You look tired. You want to come to my room. Speaker B: With Me Anything you wish, sir. Speaker A: I'm hoping you know where it is, because I don't know where it is. Speaker B: I'll get that info from them as we go. Speaker A: What are we doing to go by this time? The ghost probably passed out. Speaker B: It probably would be asleep. And she's like, I'll have it brought to the room. Speaker A: You don't have to bring a goat. It should be set free. It should play out in the. In the grasses and the other goats. Speaker B: All right. Audrey wish, my darling. Oh, yeah. So as you guys are, like, walk, like leaving. Speaker A: I was looking. I'm a darling. Somewhere between 12 and 50 years old. Speaker B: Oh, yeah. So. Yeah. So she. She lets Hilda know that the goats to be set free. And then. Yeah. And then Nora takes you out up to your. Up to your room. Speaker C: Hilda had a short stay, but an adventurous one. Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker A: Should play with other goats. I'm not sure how many dots are connecting for Audrey right now. Speaker B: No. If you drink at least the most of the bottle, if not another bottle, like, it would have been whenever. Anytime your cup was empty. Nora was there. Speaker A: He would probably barely be standing. She might have to carry him. Speaker D: As tired as we were. Probably. Speaker B: Yeah. So I guess as you're getting ready, like, yeah. As you, like, go to, like, get out of the tub or whatever and, like, probably almost eat it, a large dude comes in and, like, just picks you up and, like, fireman carries you up to the room, plops you on the bed with. Right. Speaker A: Snuggle into his chest. Like, no, you don't. Speaker B: Yeah, no, he. He just, like. He, like, plops. Yeah. He plops you on the bed. And then Nora comes. It climbs in with. And she just encourages you to, like, go to sleep for. Speaker D: Ask you if you need anything else. Speaker A: Out. At some point, he might turn over and. And just kind of like, if there's anything there, just grab it and pull it in. But that's about it. I mean, be a blanket or. And the next morning and be like, I vaguely remember you. Speaker B: I say, yeah, you would. You would. Yeah. Say grabbing the first thing. Would it? Like, Nora would have made sure you were, like, taking care of in bed and climbed in and just stayed with you for the night. That works for you. If you just passed out and you grabbed whatever. So. Speaker A: Toss on the bed. I wonder if he went. Oh, the nausea, the waves. Speaker D: It's not a water bed. Speaker A: Those lovely brass bark bowls on. Speaker B: All right, so hop over to John Vincent. Lets you know that there's a tailor up on Silk street called in stitches. Take care of your Closing needs. He kind of like looks you up and down. Speaker C: I'd go with that. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: I don't have anything else I'm doing. Speaker B: Okay. So. Yeah. Hunger. So dark and dark and Jacques to the tailor. Yeah. Speaker C: We leave the kid to the goat. Speaker B: You guys would. You guys would like. There's no like, this is a high class play. Speaker D: Josh wouldn't be worried about that. Speaker B: Yeah. There's no danger. It doesn't. Oh. Speaker A: If a babysitter. You're picking. Speaker C: Yeah, there's no danger. It depends on what the goat does. I'm not sure what to go with a hangover would do. Speaker A: Especially if they just release it into the streets. Speaker B: Yeah. Right. Speaker C: That's probably all they did. Speaker B: The back cook's door. Yeah. Or they just brought it down to. Speaker C: The kitchen and do butcher that. Speaker D: I have goat in the morning. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker D: This tastes like whiskey. Speaker C: This is amazing. Speaker B: It's marinated whiskey fed goat pickle instead. Speaker C: Of grass fed beef. Speaker B: Yeah. So you guys, I actually. Yeah. It's a different district so I don't. If you want to. You want to ride there or get a carriage. Speaker D: I'm just riding my horse because I figured that's how we got. Speaker B: Yeah, I think that you would travel. It's in a different district, so. Yeah. So yeah, that's a little drizzle. So. Yeah. See right over there? Oh, that's kind of. It's a modest size store. Go in and get greeted by. Oh, welcome to In Stitches. I'm Lewis, how can I help you? And he's. Speaker D: He's like. Speaker B: He looks like a. Almost like a cadaver. He's like so thin. He's like super thin. He's like five, eight, like an old. He's in his 50s. He's got like amber colored eyes and he's got like shoulder length hair that's kind of like wavy and like charcoal black look like. But he speaks with a Jewish accent. Speaker D: A Jewish. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker D: Jewish accent. Speaker C: Slightly Semitic language. Speaker D: That's true. Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. I'm trying to think of like some TV characters. Yeah, I like that. Yeah. So he's random slang. Speaker C: Every once in a while they're like, I have no idea what that means. Speaker B: I understand. Speaker C: Probably owns half the town and controls the space later. Best business people in the world. Speaker B: But yeah, he kind of actually. He looks at your clothes and he's like, see you at a new wardrobe, huh? Yep. Anything particular styles or do you just want to browse? Speaker D: I'd be looking for like a full on black duster replace mine. Speaker C: So how far is my credit rating? Speaker B: Go here. So yours is what, like a seven? It's a six. A six. Speaker D: Mine's a four. So. Speaker B: So that's enough wealth to buy like a townhouse, light helicopter, environment. Helicopter. It's like. So eight is. Eight is the level of like mansion, private jet. Okay, question. Speaker C: How is it calculated to make sure. Speaker B: I did it right first? Okay, it's. Speaker C: I remember double checking it, but that was when he first started out. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: Plus your high. Speaker B: It's like mine. Plus appeal. Plus your profession. I think so it can be. Yeah. So it's six. Yeah. Speaker C: Because my doctor wants how I make money, which makes it. Speaker B: If I'm a doctor and running around. Speaker C: Town helping people, I probably get pretty decent money. Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because I remember. Yeah, we talked about it. I think you even double checked it. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker B: Multiple times too. Yeah. So. Yeah. So you, you, you. You'll have nothing. No issue. I mean, and then because you're what for. That's like an expensive car level. So pretty good. Speaker C: Though your wealth is mostly stolen and taken. Speaker B: So you like other people's lunch money. Yeah, it's common. It's a common. Speaker D: It's all fake credit cards and fake. Speaker C: IDs, identity and the poker chips to cash in. Local gambling establishment. That's your, your savings account. Just bring the chips in. Speaker A: So we're taking a zeppelin to the mouth. Speaker D: Get that private hose. I don't think I want an 1800. Speaker C: That'd be a special skill. Somebody hands you a chip, you're like, that's this casino, you know, in this town, you know exactly where to cash it in. Speaker D: This one date. This was made now. Was made this year. Speaker B: Right. Speaker C: Tasting it. Speaker A: Where'd you get this from? It went out of business 10 years ago. Speaker C: I know someone that was fatigued. Speaker B: The chip collector. Yeah. Yeah. So you, you won't have like. These are pretty common clothes, like a census retailer. So it'd be pretty standard gear. Like standard clothes for whatever style you want. You know, variety, town clothes, you know, traveling clothes, whatever. So pretty basic stuff. Yeah. Speaker D: I'm just like getting mine all retarded now. Speaker B: Yeah. So if you're just buying new stuff, you just basically just say you just order what you want. Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker B: Either tell him or you just walk. Browse through the racks. Speaker D: All good. Speaker C: I definitely asked something weather proof, not. Speaker B: Just like scared that I did it. Speaker C: It's dry. And all of our crap. Speaker B: Well done. Speaker D: Audrey remembers any of it. Just got me showing glasses. Speaker B: The goat's just dead. Speaker A: Hey, guys, we got a new person traveling with us. Speaker B: Laura. Speaker A: I think I Got married. Our adventures. Speaker B: With your. Your new friends not eating. Speaker D: That's true. Hopefully Audrey didn't talk too much about your new friends. Speaker A: But now that you mentioned I should have kept the goat for my friends first. That would have been like, a snack for one. Speaker D: That's all you're telling Nora I have friends I should show this to? Speaker A: Can I get more? I need five goats. Speaker B: I say, like, any, like, any stories, like, you, like, she's like, 100. Like, as far as, like, anything. Audrey pays 100, like, undivided attention on you listening and, like, any requests or stuff. She either, like, would have. Would have went and got it herself or called an attendant to, like, come and get for you. Speaker A: Oh, wow, she saw my clothes. Speaker B: She'd probably. You probably need some new clothes. Speaker A: You're right. I think I do. When you see me again, new clothes. She's dressed me. I don't have no idea what styles that would be. It might be high end. Really down the middle. There we go. Speaker B: Or she. She would have asked you, like, what you like. Speaker D: Drunk clothes behind her week. Speaker B: Exactly. But, like, yeah, like, they're 100. About, like, meeting customer need. Like, they're near your customer nudes or whatever. So, yeah, so she would ask you, like, what style. And the two. She would have, like, either probably would have just measured her, measured you herself, and just, like, sent an order for a set of clothes. So, like, if you woke up in the morning, there would be a set of clothes there. Speaker A: Probably if he's awake, this would totally happen. And he's like, I gotta get in close. I'm kind of hungry. Are you hungry? Let's get something to eat. I have no idea what your bill is gonna. Speaker C: Find out. Washing dishes. Speaker A: With a hangover. Who sent me that whiskey? Speaker B: Yeah, so, like, all of that could also happen, like, while you're in the bath and just talking. Because she would also been like, like, charisma. Like Nat20 and just know how to, like, talk to people and just talk and listen to you. So depending on, like, how loose your lips were and everything you would, like, that's up to you. But you could also just, like, roll too, if you wanted to be, like, how like, free was Audrey with all that too, of just like, himself, his story, like, everything with this beautiful lady that's 100% paying attention to him. Speaker A: That would be such a new experience for you. Speaker D: Between this one, I was like, you. Speaker A: Make sure you're home in time for bed. And Ramsey, just don't shoot yourself in the foot. Speaker D: I'm kind of Curious. Speaker A: What sort of roll would that be? Would that be a mind roll or. Speaker B: Yeah, it just be just mind Altina. Speaker D: Pear in your scorches coins. Speaker B: Because. Speaker A: If they heated the tub. Speaker B: Careers wouldn't really apply to that. I don't think any of. And you're not in combat, so it wouldn't be any combat stats. Like maybe if you had gambler. I could see being like helping them to like not be drunk. But I don't know if any of your other careers would brave apply to sorcerer. Not like your drunk but. But we'll just. Let's have it. Make that a mind roll. Let's make a Note on that. Speaker A: 7 I failed. Speaker B: Yeah. So I say you got like not super like not blackout drunk, but you got toasted. So we'll use degrees of like success success slash failure for that. And that's only like 2 below the success. So you got toasted, but you'd probably remember most of the night still. Speaker C: So I had a question for the tailor. Like, aside to him be like, well, we're reputable folk. We sometimes tend to get into some scraps. We have any clothing that might be resistant to certain forms of deathly injury. Speaker A: You want to whip Taylor? Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah. Speaker B: So he would just be like. So he's like, what? He'd just be like, what exactly are you asking? Do you want like bullet clothes or stabbing or what do you have? Well, I don't carry that as we just have clothes here. Speaker C: But. Speaker B: If you. The Citadel does have an arm over there that may be able to help you out. Speaker C: Okay. Just thinking, even if it was something that was resistant to get stuck wouldn't be too bad. I'll take a look there. Thanks for being. For now, just make this update. Speaker B: Of course. Speaker C: Let's see how it'll be a tall order with that one slap. Speaker B: HE CHUCKLES no, I just like replace. Speaker D: All my clothes because normally they don't. Speaker A: They've had a lot of road miles. Speaker C: They go to take them off, they just like Thanos out. Speaker A: Comes up, take measurements and it just kind of crumbles. He stretches the tape across. Speaker D: Jacket and shirt would have huge blind marks on it. Speaker C: Yeah, we probably look pretty gnarly actually. Speaker B: Yeah. You really like open wounds and stuff? Yeah, but he would. Yeah, he'd tell you buckaroos in the Citadel. Cool. Speaker D: Buckaroo. Buckaroo's armory. All right. Speaker B: And then like on the map, the Citadel is that walled area. Speaker A: Oh, in town. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: I was thinking the Citadel is when you get to the library. Speaker B: Yeah, it's up here. This Is the citadel. Speaker D: Is that a military type? Speaker B: Yeah, it's actually. That would be the. Speaker A: Actually no, that's. Speaker B: This would just be the. That would be the. The local. There would be a church presence there. Maybe. There's probably. Actually there would be probably a bell rider squad station here in this town because it is big. How do people react to the game? Most people, like are like scared about it, but it's not like something that's like if it happens, like if I. Speaker D: When I got off my horse to go sleep and just put it in my rain in the street, people like. Speaker B: You would know that you wouldn't want to do that. Like in the open. You would know that like, that would spread extremely fast and like you. There would have been pell riders like banging on your door. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Kind of think of like if someone. If that actually happened in. Someone just like hops off a horse and goes like this and it goes to their ring or. Or like someone like shot a fireball out of their hand or their eyes, like literally started going like people would flip out. And that's. That's weird. Yeah. Speaker A: You get out of your roadster and you suck it into your room. Speaker B: Especially in the. I'll just call them civilized, but I like zones. Like now if you're down in like the wilderness and stuff, the tribal people may not. They wouldn't necessarily care a whole lot. They may. They would react less like crazy. But up here in the church zone, the church area, I guess, where they. They've had a thousand years, they're like stamped that out. Speaker D: Oh yeah. Speaker B: Yeah. People doing weird magic stuff that's not like gold colored. They float. Or someone doing magic that's not dressed like a priest or Elrond. All their stuff is generally tinted, has a gold hue to it. Whenever they're doing magic. When you were with Ramses, everything she did had a goal. Gold, the white to it. So yeah, freak out. Speaker D: I hope I can get my clothes. And then. Speaker B: Where I go, I'd say it would probably be afternoon. So if you didn't like eat, you'd probably be getting pretty hungry after like two like really hard days of riding and then taking a nap. And then you guys can like take all your fatigue damage. You can remove all that. Speaker D: Okay. Speaker B: You've done enough like rest and stuff for now. Yeah. So if you wanted to go eat food, you could go back to the tower or to. Speaker D: Probably would just go back to the fists. Speaker B: Yeah, I ate there and then my books. Speaker A: I got a friend of mine he. Speaker B: Like, he needs books. Nora would tell you. Speaker C: That. Speaker B: There's a couple newspapers, novels. He needs it all. Speaker A: Even though lonely shedding. Speaker B: About fable and fiction. Yeah. So, Duncan, New York. You guys head back to the place that you eat? Speaker D: Yeah, I would. Speaker B: Get your meal. Yeah. So at the. At the restaurant, the lunch specials are mutton, oxtail or fish. And then they got apple pie and pecan pie and sweet potato pie. Speaker D: All three. Speaker B: Slice it. Yeah. No, it's letting them, I guess too, like, now that you're like in the main area, you see like all the people that are servers are like all the people that are in like, I guess uniforms are all attractive looking. Speaker D: One of these places. No. Speaker B: Yeah. So you get your food as much as you want to eat. And of course they have coffee, tea, whiskey, champagne and beer. You know, whatever. Yeah. Drink. Let me know when we get 15 minutes from 9 because my clock is on there. So let me see if I can fix the clock. Speaker D: You should be able to just turn on. Yeah, turn it. The auto set and you turn it back on. Speaker C: That's what I have to do. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker C: Hey, you're supposed to keep track of time. Speaker B: Operating system. But yeah. So you guys get your food and. So what do you want to do now? Speaker C: Where are you at? Speaker D: He's in bed. Speaker B: If you don't check on him, maybe you wouldn't. You'd have no clue where he's at. Speaker D: I probably would have went past the front desk and made sure that the young boy make it to his bed. Speaker C: Right. Speaker B: We're not sure, though. The goat kid. Speaker D: Yeah, our friend that was with us. Speaker B: Yeah. Vincent would be. Oh, yes. Nora is taking very good care of. All right, Mr. Audrey. Speaker A: There might even be a sleeping goat at the front. Speaker D: Style. Speaker A: Tongue hanging off the side. Speaker D: The citadel. Like a blacksmith guy. The R. Or is it. Speaker B: Yeah. Buckaroos is in the citadel. Speaker D: I'd probably go to him. Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. Doc Jon was. Yep. Okay. Speaker D: When we're leaving in stitches, though, Jocko said something like, I guess vampires do exist. That guy's look. Speaker B: He would probably. He'd probably see his eyes like bug out. Like what? Speaker D: Or it would have been like a common. Like almost looks like that kid vampire we had to deal with. Speaker B: You. Yeah, you would. Like, you see his eyes, like bug out and be like some vampire. Speaker D: We killed it too. Speaker B: Oh, my good. Speaker D: That's where these holes came from. Some of them. I mean, big ones are from an alligator. Speaker B: A big one you just see like he'd be like. You could tell. Like he's someone that's like grown up in the city and like doesn't. Hasn't like gone hunting or anything. So he's like amazed and like freaked out and like almost like the silly old trope of like women fainting. Like he's kind of like got a deal going on and then he's. He's like you. You definitely should go visit Buckaroos if that's your normal job stuff. Speaker D: He's common. Speaker B: Like, these clothes won't help you much. Speaker C: You might want to save this pattern. Maybe back for a repeat at some point. Speaker D: You need a house so they can just every month just send me a new set of clothes. Speaker B: Right. Speaker C: Open your closet. It's just six or seven outfits. Speaker D: It's like 10 dusters in there. Speaker A: Subscription, monthly subscription. Speaker D: Probably weekly for us. Every week. Speaker C: I'm definitely getting holes putting my knowledge in. Speaker D: No, I'd go to Buckaroo. Speaker C: Yours has been mostly bullet holes. Mine's been mostly teeth and clip. Speaker B: That vampire too, was that. He kept the fangs. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker B: And the claws on the hands. I think you guys kept those evidence. Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker B: He took the skull. Yeah. The skull you tossed to that. Yeah, we gave him the signals guy. I don't remember. Speaker D: I probably would have shown that guy one of the vampire teeth. Like here's one of his teeth. Speaker B: Yeah, he probably actually would have passed out. Speaker D: Well, I guess we're done here. Speaker B: They're like, so like something else was like ran over and like because there was customer like other workers in there. That's. That was a decent sized place. Speaker D: You're like, how did I forget? People aren't used to grab the handkerchief. Speaker B: Fan one of your hat. Lewis's gun over. Speaker A: How long does it take for a hangover to kick in? Speaker D: No clue. It's usually in the morning, I think. Speaker A: Well, that's after your body's been. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker A: Dehydrated. Speaker D: I have no clue. Speaker A: I'm trying to figure out if Audrey went to sleep, he woke up, would he have a hangover at that point. Speaker B: I'd say we'll just roll. We'll just do the mind roll again. Ah, six. Yeah. So you probably have a pretty pounding headache. Headache for the year. Speaker D: The bright lights. Speaker A: How do you get rid of this? Speaker C: So I have a question. As an alchemist, I have extra between adventure activities for creating and repairing non mundane items. And I can do common inventions. I don't know if that's something I could have on hand. Drink this little vial. Speaker B: Yeah, if. Yeah, that could be something. As an alchemist inventor that you could make it. Speaker C: Yeah, it's Like a snake oil cures several hills that might contain some opiate and cocaine. Speaker A: If I see you, I might. Speaker B: So yeah, let's save that off that stuff for when it is actually the next day. Because this is still all the same day. Speaker A: I wasn't quite sure when. Yeah that would hit because whoever he's with, he's like. Speaker B: No, probably the. Probably the last thing. And first thing you would have seen in the. In the evening and in the morning would be Nora. Speaker A: Should be like asking her. And I have no idea what sort of cure she might have online. Anything from the raw egg to. We're gonna stick it back in the tub. Don't worry. Drink the Thai sweater as you go. Speaker C: I'm gonna get the goat again. Sure. Speaker B: What to do? Speaker A: Or it could be the only way to get rid of it is you gotta keep drinking. Speaker B: Knowing that sort of true. Speaker D: Knowing that place. Probably. Speaker A: Carpal blaster. Speaker B: Yeah. So yeah, you guys get up to the Citadel and the. The gates are guarded and there's two guys in uniform. They look like the. I guess regular government, like police guys. And there's kind of like a line to get into the Citadel. And like when they. When you get up there, they just ask you what your business is in the Citadel. Go to Buckaroos. No, it was just a. They kind of like, they both like look at you for a minute. Like not a literal minute, but like I can get like a good look at your face and then. All right, move along. You ride through, make your way to. When you're in here, you do see also. You also do see that there's like a gunsmith and then also like a regular like weapons smith. There's a court building, like a clerk's office for, you know, stuff. And then a high end tailor and carpenter and a library. And then there's a court building too. And then there's. Then there also be like some bloating quarters and stuff like that. But yeah. So you guys make your way to Buckaroos. It's kind of like a IC It'd be kind of decent, but he actually provides armor for off the militia or the police and their soldiers and stuff. Yeah. So you just. Yes. As you walk in, it's another. This place is probably large, but yeah, you walk in and this guy with a Jewish, Jewish accent. He's got slick back, business style hair that's kind of like red, red blonde to it. It's got violet blue eyes, round face, kind of a rotund body, 40 years old. He just goes, welcome to Buckaroos. I'm Spanky. How can I help you? What you looking for? What armor would you like? Speaker A: Imagine a gun fight out with some of that. Speaker D: There's some ghoster on it. Right. Kind of sucks. Speaker B: Which is. Yeah. If it's the D6 minus 3 potential. Yeah. Speaker A: 6 to 4 minus. Speaker B: Actually that might be D6 minus 4. Yeah, that's the might actually. Yeah, that's right. But that's not actually. Yes it is a D6 minus 4. Yeah, forgot about that. This has its. Yeah, that's the best. Says light protection. Light protection in here is D6 minus 3. But this is also a system blood. But it's leather with bullets. So D6 minus 4. Yeah. Makes more sense. So yeah. Speaker D: Carbon fiber duster. Speaker A: Just leave that in behind the letter. Speaker B: But yeah, he kind of. Speaker A: For metal plates. Speaker B: Yeah. He just asks what you're looking for and some white armor. Speaker D: That helping solid bolts. Is it just metal? Like heavy metal? Speaker B: These might be metal plates. You invest metal plates in it. So that would be like a medium. So it would give you a minus. Speaker C: One to your agility. Speaker B: But. And you would know that like that it's just like iron plates put into your job yet. So it can help with bullets. But maybe not necessarily. Not great. Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker A: Might be able to improve your stats that way. All that extra weight get a bonus strength when you take it off. Speaker B: But yeah, that's. He's like. I mean if you want. And we put heavier plates in it. It's. I mean that's so you. So he. He does. I mean if you want to buy the complete lake. Speaker D: No, that takes my agility. Speaker B: Yeah, it would beat your agility. I. Yeah, that's the. At least with the. The default armor. Like. Speaker C: Yeah, it's like you're shooting. Go ahead ranged as you're shooting. Speaker B: Right. Speaker C: So agility would be like dodging. Speaker B: Well, it's. Agility is always factored in. So when you do an attack roll, it's agility plus your combat skill. Okay. Instead of career profession. Yeah. But most of the time not. It's almost always just gonna be. It's almost always gonna be agility plus pointed melee or range. Speaker D: No, I go look through his stuff and see how well he's made stuff. Speaker B: Like you can see it's really high quality. And there is even stuff like. Like night style armor that's made out of like heavy iron. Iron. And there is like stone that's actually like silver. There is some like silver armor. But that would be. No, it's very expensive. Speaker D: Good quality stuff. You have anything not on display. Speaker B: Secret star coming. Speaker D: They made with Elder, right. To see if that triggers any. That's not where she'd react. Like what are you talking about? Speaker B: Yeah, that would be like more of his. Well I guess that's kind of. Kind of more up to you for a lore question as how well this is. Speaker D: He actually provides arms. I would be kind of like if we actually provide stuff to the city and stuff him. I'd be surprised if he. He may know about it but since he's in like a major city, he may not mess with it because. Speaker B: That'S weird. Infused, right? Yeah, no, he. He would. He may know of it just because of his proximity to like where he's at. He's like this is like a go between area. He may know of it. Speaker D: But yeah. And then I'd ask him like where do you. Where do your metals come from? Speaker B: You know most of it comes east from the peaks. It's not necessarily oh why is that still attached? And you, you would like kind of have like a sense of this like you would understand that like he'd say most of like almost all our ore comes out of the peaks of light which is. I mean is this entire mountain range or like a huge chunk of it. And then there's like Grim Creeks further south than Grimwater. So in the north. But yeah, so that's where you'd say that's where most of his. That's where his metal comes from is from the east. Speaker D: I guess I asked. Nobody's heard any rumors of them finding held their right in any of their minds or if even hears any rumors like that. Speaker B: Like there would be like some like I mean these people like have lives outside so they'd be like in towering and crap. So give me a flat two. Give me a flat two. You said. Speaker D: Four. Speaker B: So you're asking if he's heard of. Speaker D: Elder, right Or if he's heard at any recent places. That sounds mostly looking for a location. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker D: Did I say he or does he just get like ingots and then make stuff or does he get the Ross. Speaker B: Oh no, he would be getting ingots and stuff. Yeah. Speaker D: Need more of the people that get the law that'll make hear more about that. Speaker A: But I'll say no. Speaker B: One of his. I'll say one of the like the suppliers he's talked to said the silver they've been having some issues with the silver and silver and near the silver port line which you also call that Ramsay talked about silver or not Ramsey's. It was the other lady Talked to Audrey about Silver Fort was like the worst place she's ever been. I just want to. Speaker A: The pass. Speaker B: Yeah. The pass was a nasty place. But. Speaker D: I don't remember his name. Speaker B: Started Scout. Scout, yeah. Only scout's crew that escorted Audrey had been to Silver Fort, which was east in between the peaks of light and grim. And the grim peaks that pass down there is where Silver Port is. Yeah. So that's what. That's what he tells solar suppliers then having troubles down there. Thought you dock anything you need from that buckaroos. Speaker A: Sorry, I'm back at the hotel. I'd say close with like metal in there for the knuckles. Speaker D: There you go. Speaker C: Some agility. Did you actually get anything? I'd be nice to. I get. This will sound strange but I get happen to get bit a lot dealing with rather large and capable animals. I don't care how anything that's good. I don't necessarily need something, you know, metal plates to chop bullets. But stopping a bite or a blade. Speaker B: Would go a mess. And we do have some like chain mail that would probably help with that. So I guess so not to take it out of role play, but for the table. Do you guys want to have damage types? Whatever the system does. The system can. Or it's optional. We can do that. So if you want to get stuff that's like resistant to like slashing or slash pierce. Speaker C: No, because there's not really a difference between a gun and a knife then. Speaker B: Not necessarily. Speaker C: It's more severity of wound. Speaker B: Yeah. It'd be like it's the damage. But I mean we. We could do two altogether do like if that makes sense to like. Oh, chain mail would be reduced damage from a knife. Then we'll just go with the fixed like friction like that I'm fiction would be better than. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker D: Having to deal with the piercing. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: But all the different types. Speaker C: Yeah. Because if somebody's shooting you with a gun, it's like, sorry, your chain now isn't relevant you here. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker C: Somebody stabbing you or biting you or slashing like with a small blade or something. But if somebody hits you with a claymore, it's like chainmail's not really going. Speaker A: To do anything for you. Speaker B: Yeah. Okay. Yeah. So that. That makes sense. So yeah. So he would say they would have some chainmail there because there would be some guys and I mean just fighting weird creatures and you. You would also. You guys are also. I guess you're not close but you would be. You would have heard people talking in the. Which map? Okay. Yeah, this map. It's pretty far north of you guys. But there is a full on like war going on up here. This. It's like Google Earth for. Yeah. So the. So the Twilight lion is one of those places where the. Where like the portals, they're like raw portals to the island are open. So like demons and monsters and other type of those creatures are coming out. So this is what makes money. Everywhere to go is a monster controlled area and they are. This is an active like front line. Okay. So you would hear people talking about that. So. Oh but yeah, so there's that. Okay. Speaker C: So I don't know what that would look like at first. Speaker B: So there would be. So if you wanted like so chain mail, I would probably consider that like. Like weight wise it would probably be medium. So it probably would give you a minus one to your agility and you could also use the protection. That would be the protection value against like knife stuff. Like you know, like stuff that would like slash at you or whatever. So it would bump you a little bit but you would have the minus one agility penalty. Speaker C: Like does that add defense or like. Speaker B: It'S your adds to your armor. Speaker C: Okay. I don't know how the defense works in this. Speaker B: So defense, your defense stat is actually a negative modifier to someone to an attacker role. Speaker C: Okay. Speaker B: And then you have armor that actually reduces damage. So like when you take damage, you actually roll a D6 subtract 3 from it. So it would be 0 to 3. Or for medium it's a D6 minus 2. So like if someone's chopping at you with a knife, you would just roll the D6 and then subtract 2. Speaker C: I'll just tell them for now. I'm going to think about it. Speaker B: All right. Speaker C: Good to know that you have it here though. Speaker B: Yep. Speaker C: I don't need to ask my horse what he would think about carrying that around. Speaker B: He's trying to talk to our horse. Oh, not ne. Not quite like talk to them, but I'll actually. They recognize this. Speaker D: That rain though, I think. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker D: Allowed us to command. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker C: It was simple commands. That's right. That's right. Speaker B: Yeah. I should actually. I need to send that post that to you. Speaker D: Yeah, we got those rings. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker D: Watch this, mister. Speaker B: Yeah. Grants you guys aware an unspoken bond with the summon Ski allowing silent communication and unwavering loyalty. Speaker D: We get on the train. I'll just go as the train's leaving. Speaker B: So yeah. Speaker C: It's just vanishes. Speaker D: Come on, Knox. Speaker B: Come on. Speaker A: You can do it. Speaker B: So you're a horse. You can. Your horse will Be able to do anything a horse could do that you could ask it to do. So if you wanted to go like untie itself or go like pick someone's, like steal someone's hat or like, you know, whatever they could do with like their, you know, with their mouth or like maneuver thing, there's like, you could ask them to do that and they will do anything without question. Oh, sorry. Speaker D: Surprise escape. Speaker C: You hear the sound of a horde coming. Speaker A: He's dug in underneath. Speaker D: People got to start getting sick. They don't know there is. Speaker C: All the milk sours every. Yeah. Speaker B: So you guys have anything else or you want to skip to morning? Speaker D: I don't have anything else. No, that'd be morning. I'd go sleep if it's dinner. Speaker B: Yeah. You guys, could you like eat dinner? Speaker D: Yep. Speaker C: Yeah. In the evening, I probably prep some. Speaker D: Clean my gums, some healing potions. Speaker B: So we'll. We'll deal with that. I think next session. Speaker C: I'm saying it now that. Speaker B: Yeah. Well worry about the downtime project. So that is. And you guys will also be able to level up and stuff too. So you do. You guys do have 10 XP right now. So if you want to write that down as. So is XP different than the rp? Yes. Speaker C: Okay. Speaker B: Your RP points are a player currency, like a player meta currency. And then you have XP points. Okay. That are actually from the MM system. Speaker C: Okay. Speaker B: Yeah. So you guys like look through that and I'll post the level up advancement stuff so you can kind of have a read of how it looks and then we can do that next session since you guys are in town and have stuff to like, have access to things all night. Speaker A: Audrey probably wakes up and in an embrace. I don't know. You poor Chad Doc, you're getting a hell of a bill. Speaker C: I'll be like, I don't know that boy. Never seen him before in my life. Yeah. Speaker B: Yeah. So we can do so. Yeah. So. Yeah. So Audrey, like you do, you wake up and Nora's embrace with a. A massive. Speaker D: We have our own room, right? Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Speaker C: We come in the room, we're like. Speaker D: Geez, dude, it's just one bed. But nothing. Speaker C: Nothing's happened. Speaker B: We just know that. Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker C: Just walk in on it. Speaker A: Triggers an attack. I've been rocking in the bed all night, slamming against the wall. Speaker C: Whether or not, you know, nothing's happened, is it. Speaker D: That's. Speaker C: That's really. Speaker D: Count your coin in the morning. See how good this establishment. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker B: She probably gets fired. Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker C: Or given a bonus, she gets 10%. Speaker D: See if he has those scorches coins. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: They always come back, though. Speaker B: Yeah, that's true. Speaker C: She'll be disappointed. Speaker B: Yeah. Because I think the only way to take them from someone is to kill them. Speaker D: You know? Speaker B: But. Yeah, so you, like, start stirring, and I actually. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker B: You know, when you, like, wake up or, like, you know, start moving, open your eyes. Nora's cuddling you, but, like, in the corner, waiting, standing on a little stool. Speaker D: Doing, like, a robot thing where they're just not blinking, breathing heavily. Yeah, you like me again. Speaker B: Oh, my gosh. Speaker A: When did the goat come back? Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker B: Yeah. When you, like, stir up, you find Nora, like, cuddling you and just, like, looking at you. Good morning, darling. How do you feel? It's like the. The country, like, darling. Speaker A: Bless your pointed little. It would probably take a while for him to come to and there might be a jump followed with a. Speaker D: That'd be all the time. Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. First bed in, like, forever. Speaker D: Wake up soggy. Speaker B: That's really, like, a first bed in, like, two weeks or. Speaker D: Yeah, a week and a half almost. Speaker B: At least. Yeah. Speaker A: Anyways, the only bed we had previous that was. Speaker C: No. Speaker A: The spider Logging camp. Speaker B: Yeah, the pews. Yeah, you. So she startled. She kind of, like, lets off a. A soft chuckle, then asked if you want more whiskey or to fetch the priests. Speaker A: That'd be one of those things that you could see it running through his head with. Oh, oh, starting to come back. Speaker D: Let's just see. Both will help with. Speaker B: Your wolf can help with your hangover. Speaker A: It almost be a toss because Audrey would be, like, slightly embarrassed for the situation he's in, but he wants the pain to go away. You probably look up at her. It just. She can see the pants. I was like, what do you recommend? Speaker B: Well, she goes, oh, that really depends on how you feel. Do you want to. Speaker A: Do I want to crawl further into the hole or do I want to. Speaker C: Get out of it? Speaker B: You want to drink some more or lighten it up that way? Or fetch the priest and be done with it? Speaker A: At this point, I don't think Audrey would be drinking much for a while. Speaker B: Yeah, you probably would have probably vomited some during the night, too. Yeah. Or over the course of the evening, too, because he did drink quite a bit. Speaker C: 2. Speaker A: Way too preemie. Speaker D: You could go away. Speaker B: So she's like. She goes, all right, well, don't go anywhere. I'll be back. And she just slides out of the bed and glides out of the room. Speaker A: It'd be kind of a dark checkup. Where am I going to Go. And if I turned over and saw the goat, like, why is there a goat in here? Speaker B: No, the goat did get let go. Well, I mean, that was your last name, but if you want it to be there, it can be there. Speaker A: It would just be one of those things of. I don't know if they've let it go yet. Speaker B: I was so drunk. Speaker A: There was a goat. The goat should be with its friends. It needs to be out playing with other goats. Speaker B: Yeah. So it's. Speaker A: And that's probably that drunken stupor. That would make sense. Goats need to play with goats. If it were back in the room, it's like, I thought I dreamed the goat. Speaker B: No, she. She went out, let out, like, a giggle, like, no, de. It was all real last night. It's all real yesterday. But, yeah. So she's studying. What? Are you gonna say something? Speaker A: Oh, I was gonna say, you'll have to tell me about it sometime. Speaker B: She. She giggles. And I'll tell you all about it when I come back. Speaker C: Okay. Speaker A: Hands are coming up. Speaker B: And then. Yeah. So she just, like, glides out of the room. It's probably gone 10 to 15 minutes. Speaker A: Probably have a priest on staff. Speaker B: They do, but. Yeah. So he comes. Yeah. So there's a soft knock on the door, and Nora just goes. It's just me and the priest, Audrey, coming. And so, see, he glides in. And falling behind her is a. A guy dressed in a 5 8, almost 40s, green eyes, kind of fringy, dark brown hair. He sounds like Tim Perry when he talks. Just because I'm priest Francis, I hear you have a hangout where you'd like to be gone. Speaker A: Yes, sir. My friends decided to. I don't know what they decided. Speaker B: He chuckles and, like, looks at Nora, then looks at you. And it's like, I think you probably have pretty good friends. Like, they've taken care of you. Speaker A: I'm glad Nora took care of me. I don't know what happened to them. Speaker B: He chuckled and asked you if this was your first time in the city. Speaker A: Yes. Speaker B: Very sheepishly, like, I assume your friends are well traveled. Speaker A: Yes. Speaker B: And he genuinely lets out a genuine laugh and like, well, sit still for a second and we'll fix you right up. Speaker A: Thank you. Speaker B: And then, like, the similar thing that the other priest guy did to Doc puts, like, his hands on both sides of your head, and then starts speaking in Latin. And then it's like, there's, like, a little bit of glow in his hands, and his eyes kind of have a very faint tint. Gold. And then hear me Hangover is gone. There was much rejoicing. Speaker A: Yay. Speaker B: There you go. All here. Speaker A: I would thank him so much. Let me buy you breakfast. I think I can handle breakfast. Speaker C: Do you want to go? Speaker A: No. Can I handle breakfast? Is that wise right now? Speaker B: Because food's probably good. He didn't eat much last night. Speaker A: No, I don't remember eating much last night. I remember drinking a lot, but I didn't smoke anything. They sent something to smoke. Speaker B: Yeah. She. She glides over to the nightstand. I guess. Cigar. Cigar. The cigar was from your companions. Was here if you would like it. Speaker A: Liza said, no, I better not. Food would be good. Speaker B: Yes. I should go get some food. And so what we'll do is all you guys will show up in the breakfast room at the same time and that's where we'll end or we'll pick up next time. Speaker A: I'd asked Nora if she wanted to join me for breakfast. Speaker B: She? Yeah, she. Like she's attached to you until you dismiss her. Basically. Speaker D: Audrey doesn't know that. Speaker A: He has no idea. Speaker D: Just think you have a friend that follows you around. Speaker B: Yeah. So she's. She like grabs your arm, like, you know, like the hooks your arm or whatever and slides you down the hall downstairs to the large restaurant area. And that's where we will pick up next session. So end of session question. These are for RP points. Oh. Did we learn something new and important about the world? Speaker C: Do we know about the war? Speaker B: No. Speaker A: The war is new information. Speaker B: Yeah. I said you guys didn't know that. Speaker C: That's crazy. Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker B: Do we overcome monster heavy mo? Speaker A: I had hangover. Speaker C: Had a personal challenge. Speaker B: Did we loot a memorable treasure? Speaker A: Nora? No. Speaker C: Is she with you permanently? Speaker A: She could be. Speaker D: You really want we'll find out next time. Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. Speaker A: If it's until I dismiss her. It could be. Speaker C: If it's on my dime. I don't know that I will. Speaker B: Did we solve a conflict without violence? Speaker D: We didn't have any that required violence. Speaker A: I got the go drum. Speaker B: Yeah. And then you guys can get a market RP point for role playing. That was a fun session. Speaker D: That was. Speaker B: Any low lights or highlights, long term goals, anything new. Speaker A: Head into the mountain. Speaker D: Find mines, then eventually bio place. Speaker A: Start a riverboat that goes up and down the river. That way before we come back, we don't know where we come back. Speaker B: Next session. Speaker D: Get on the train probably. Speaker B: Yeah. Level up for that's also a train into the fortress. Speaker D: If Audrey needs anything in town. Speaker C: I. Speaker A: Show up in my fine duds that Nora picked out. Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker B: I'M sure you also in books, I guess with the Clockwork pigeon. What did you guys do with that? Did it. Was it just chilling on your shoulder like Audrey's shoulder the whole time or did you guys stuff it in a saddle bag or did you just like have it on one of your guys's shoulders? Just chilling out? Speaker A: How interactive is it? Speaker B: It's. It's not like when it's just you guys, it like it really just does look like, like a very like intricate, like nice, well made like clockwork pigeon. Like if you're just looking at it. So like it was just. It might like squawk or whatever. Like I'd say it probably even has like a little wind up thing. So you can like wind it up so it looks like it does stuff. But if you actually like talk to it and like throw flies back to or theme and then comes back to you. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: So otherwise. Yeah, like most of the time, like it would just look like if you didn't know what it was. It would just be like, wow, this is a very expensive, like toy or trinket kind of like display thing. Speaker A: I think it would have been in the bag. Speaker C: All right. Speaker B: Yeah. So okay, next session level. Speaker D: I started cleaning that stuff. So my guy gets. Are you drunk? Speaker A: Yeah. If it was Alex, like, I need a book. My bird is hungry. Speaker D: Start feeding it toilet paper or something that just gets rolls and rolls of. Speaker A: Toilet paper with probably quartered newspaper sheets. Speaker D: There you go. Speaker A: Imagine quarter newspaper. Speaker B: Okay. Yeah. So you have to level up downtime. Take train to Fortress and shopping and then anything else that you guys think of off the top of your head. Okay. Speaker D: You trouble get into. Speaker A: I'm trying. Whiskey. I hope this can be reassembled. Speaker D: Sending them random letters. Speaker B: You could write letters and put them in there. You can get them. Speaker A: Well, probably an inclination of. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: Current books. Current times. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: I was trying to decide if newspaper or book. Speaker B: And then it's like anything newspapers would be interesting. Speaker D: So it would be current. Speaker B: Yeah, there would be newspapers. Speaker D: Not beat someone's library. Speaker A: Maybe a fish. Speaker D: There you go. Speaker C: Yeah, sure.
