====== Session 37.2025.11.1 ====== {{ :savacola:campaign_one:savacola.c1.37.2025.11.1.mp3 |Recording}} ===== AI Transcribed Audio ===== Speaker A: Do you guys want to finish building characters or do some of the other stuff first? Speaker B: You mean what you did in the downtime as we're discussing when we rebuild or. Speaker A: Yeah, that'll be like some of that. So. Okay. And then. Yeah, we might as well just build the characters while we're here. Do that first. Speaker C: Choose your class first. Speaker A: What? Rotating. The Flipping it around. Speaker C: Flipping it around. Speaker D: Let everybody settle on for classes. Speaker B: Audrey definitely fit the. The wizard. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker B: More than store was the only other thing really made sense for. Speaker A: Yeah, that's right. Which barter? The Troubadour. Speaker C: That's the music one. Speaker A: You need the Carter. Yeah. Speaker C: At least for tonight. Speaker A: And then I'll probably make a sheet. Speaker B: A sheet. Speaker A: And then Wes, did you settle on which type of guardian? Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker A: There we go. Then Steve, which wizard? Speaker B: The battle or. Speaker A: Yeah, that makes sense for Audrey. Paul, did you decide which ceremony. Speaker D: Class. Speaker A: And then your heritage, which pretty much everybody is. Speaker B: When you level up in the system, do your base stats change for. Speaker A: Yep, that's one of your options on. If you flip it over on the back in the tier two section there is. You can up your. That. Speaker B: I'm doing good. By writing the numbers small in the corner so that there's space to adjust. Speaker A: Them later if need be. Next. I don't think your initial your choose heritage assigned character. Yeah. So once you use your heritage, I guess. Nick, what was yours. Speaker C: Mine? Speaker A: Your characters. Speaker C: I was gonna probably do a mix. Speaker A: Okay. Speaker C: And do Elf in the Inferno. Speaker A: Do you have that stuff written down? Yeah, I can write it down. Cards? No. Okay. Do you want to look at the two options? Speaker E: Yeah, I was looking at them, but my. Like the Moon Sentinel sounds cool. But I have a spirit weapon and I'm a healer, which is what Divine Wielder has kind of been up to this point. Speaker A: Was it. Was there a different class you were looking at? Speaker E: There was just the two. Speaker A: Right. Speaker E: I was saying, like we had talked about Wing Sentinel. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker E: But the Divine Wielder is what I've been playing and that I have a spirit weapon and I heal people. Speaker A: So I'm kind of like whichever one you want to. I was just saying with the. I said if you went with the flying one, you'd essentially get like, you know, dragon wings that he can just sprout. Intimidate people or whatever. Speaker C: Whatever you want. Speaker A: You know, whatever your role is. Speaker E: I mean, it sounds nice. It just changes. Speaker A: Like. I know another like super crazy. Speaker E: I think wrong. And how crazy Luke is doing. Speaker B: More. Speaker A: Crazy than we're either. Speaker E: I think we're already Kind of crazy. Speaker A: Okay. Cash, you or Wes, I think you were giant, right? Speaker E: Yes. Speaker C: Unless you just want one parody. Speaker A: I don't. You can do the one I. Look. That. That makes sense for your guy. No. And then I think Paul, this was one of the options for your hair. We talked a little bit about that. If you wanted to be able to blast dragon's breath. Something new after your. Speaker E: I like that because of the. Speaker A: Dragon beauty. Speaker E: Yeah. I actually like Wayne Sentinel. It's just a big departure for what I've been playing. Now I have to choose another thing. Speaker A: Let's see. Steve's the only. Do you know what your heritage. Speaker B: I was leaning towards elf. And if I can do a half. Speaker A: I. Speaker B: Yeah, we'll just stick with elf. Speaker E: Let's keep it simple. Speaker A: Yeah. We can also evolve this too, a little bit if play warrant and play if it warrants it. Speaker B: I was thinking. Speaker A: So everyone's got their heritage now. So now you should have character traits to assign, which I think they're on your sheets already. The numbers themselves or not. Speaker B: I have suggested trace. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker A: Yeah. So the array is. Okay. Don't surprise us. Not on here. Oh, yeah. Steve, did you need it? Do you need a carrot search feet? Speaker B: No, I printed one out before I. Okay. Speaker E: Yes, I thought about it asking to. Speaker B: Do it, but I thought if I got enough time to type a message to you, I should have enough time to print out a sheet. Speaker A: Okay, I will write the array off screen. Yeah, it's page 17. Oh, it's true, you guys. So does anyone. Do we need another book? Have my book. And then Wes is good. Yes. The array is great though. It's negative 100 +1 +1 +2. Yeah, get that vein up for you guys. Speaker E: I just remember the extremes. You only get one of each and then two of the others get a two negative one and then two zeros twice. Speaker A: It's yes. Once your array is distributed, then you have your starting invasion, which I believe. Speaker C: Is your class starts at 10. Speaker D: Depends on your class. Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. Hand this down to Steve. So player good. And I guess this too. Your. Your new updated coins. Oh. Speaker E: So your book of coins. Speaker B: Let me know the things that need to be updated. It's like all the coins. And then I thought of all the different things I picked up. And then I found a list of other things I picked up but I completely forgotten about. Speaker C: How's that coin? J? Speaker B: Well, five of them from that one guy with the minigun. Speaker C: Oh, yeah. Speaker A: Okay, so we need to also pick your heritage or your community. Speaker C: Your community. Speaker A: They're stacked in there. Plus they also have Wes's set. We can get out if you guys double up. Actually. Actually I guess triple up because I think there's two of each. Speaker C: I was going to be highborn. Speaker E: Underground. Speaker A: One whatever that one's called. Underborn. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker A: Cause did one of the card sleeves get left behind? Looks like it. Oh just the top left corner right there. Speaker E: Oh yeah. Speaker C: Oh that's mine. Speaker A: Yes. Do that at the top sometimes that's. Speaker E: A good slide to handle it. Speaker C: Practice. Speaker A: That's true. Speaker C: Then our armor is 8 and 17. Speaker A: Right. Speaker C: The start at the base. Speaker A: Yes. Speaker C: The elder right Duster. Speaker A: Yes. Speaker C: Or is the base work we have four armor. Speaker A: Yes. You have four armor. Speaker E: And you add your level to the threshold when you transfer it should. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker E: Above your thresholds it'll say add your current lending to your damage and those guardians your guardian. Yes. You you will. You may have a skill that will add to that. Yeah. Speaker D: Permanent plus one damage thresholds. Speaker B: Okay. Speaker A: Yeah. Because that's like the armor you're wearing. So you'd fill that in on your character sheet for your active armor. Speaker E: Yeah it is. Speaker B: Let's go C4. Speaker E: I just shifted mine because served with one being casting tree half of the strength. Speaker B: Which one was it that was all knowledge. Speaker E: Was that wordle probably sounds involved History, culture and politics of a prominent first place. Speaker A: Well read. Yeah. Speaker C: High born. Speaker B: No that doesn't fit. Audrey. He may have studied but he's not well read. Speaker E: What are you looking for? Speaker B: Oh I was just debating. I was leaning between Seaborne and Wonderborn though. Just because Mystic Flats is out in the middle of the prairie but it's kind of close to the sea as well. And I was like does that fit or is there another one that fits better? Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. Let's say you would. You're pretty much close. Yeah I'd say you could. Seaborn would definitely be fine because you're right on a river. Okay too. We'll stick with that river right to the water. So that's. That's totally fine. Let's see. Speaker E: Riders are probably end up being overloaded. Speaker A: Oh yeah. Like the community and stuff. I think they just expect you to have cars and then. Yeah. I guess once you guys have that stuff recorded. Yeah. Then say you do your character information so invasion and you have to hope to start with. Then you choose your starting equipment. Okay. Speaker B: That answered my next question. I wasn't sure if you picked anything out for Jivar's as far as skills. Speaker A: Yeah. Then we'll after the equipment. Then we do. Then it's the background stuff. Which description choices, which we may skip that. I don't know if you guys need to do any of that. Which stuff? The background. Create backgrounds. Yeah, it's just asking those questions around the background sheet. Yeah, I think we can always do later. Speaker E: Yep. Speaker A: Oh, yeah, this is character description. That stuff was back in the question. Yeah. Yeah. So that could be some lore stuff. If you guys want to add this to your characters or not. That's. And then we won't worry about filling in connections tonight. Unless something specifically pops up for your character related to one of the other existing characters already, since we have two new ones coming in. Yeah. So after your equipment, and if you have anyone has questions about that, let me know. But I assume you guys are basically just using all your current gear and you can find equivalent stats. Speaker B: Oh, where did that crossbow fall in? Speaker A: Oh, I forgot about that. I forgot about making that. That will definitely be a magic weapon. So that's called comment, right? Yeah. Let's see here. I can probably update it. Dagger Heart does have a crossbow already. Probably cost stress to, like, hook down that. You'll see here overload it. Speaker B: I would expect it to cost stress to overload. Speaker A: So. Yeah. So I guess. Do you guys have Elderite versions? And then your guns and melee weapons. There should have equivalents of them already in the equipment list. Speaker E: Did everybody work in the community? Speaker C: I believe everyone got mine. Speaker A: Everyone? Yes. If you have one. Speaker E: The order button. Speaker A: There's two pieces of paper floating around. If I need to print another one, I can. Speaker B: I just needed to copy the stats. Speaker A: It's the same range as the actual Cutlass. It's melee. It's a melee weapon because it's a Cutlass. It just adds the Elder. Right. Weapon attributes on it. And you can use knowledge instead of presence. Speaker B: I guess Comet would be my secondary weapon. Speaker A: That's kind of up to you, I guess. Which one you want to be primary? Speaker B: Well, I figured that the Cutlass would. Because Cutlass is a primary weapon on the list. Speaker A: No, so is LA Crossroad, technically, but it's. It's fine. Speaker B: Fine. As far as picking two weapons. Speaker A: Yeah, you run. You guys. I mean, I assume you guys all have your current gear. It's like. So I'll probably end up doing like for you, Steve. Like, if you're running your Cutlass as your primary and you want to swap out Comet or whatever during combat, that's. It's just distressed. Because that's in the rules. Okay. Two major. Speaker E: Two primary weapons. Speaker A: Well, you have your primary and your Secondary, which you can use those at any time you want. But if you want to pull out another primary, swap your primary for another primary. That's a stress in like during combat. So we'll just run with that. Speaker B: What if your primary is a two hand, like it's a rifle or shotgun battle axe. Speaker A: It still like it still says in the rules. Like you can like your primary and secondary. Yeah, you can. Are interchangeable. But if you have like the secondary weapon type. The primary weapon types and then. So if you're swapping primary weapons back and forth during combat, that is a stress. Pick a secondary. Yeah. Take all the primaries. Yeah. It looks like they do a little bit less damage, but we'll play with that and see how it feels. Since we weren't really worried about it in everyone, it may not matter as much either. So we'll see. So if you have your gear, you have your experiences. So you have any two. Yeah, two narratives at plus two. Oh, if you have. If you picked out your gear, you need to come up with two experiences for your character, which is pretty generalized things that your guys can do that you can spend. Hope to get a plus two on a roll with it and you can stack experiences if they apply. So you could spend two. Speaker C: Hope you have some examples on experience. Speaker A: Yeah. So if we need another print out of that. There's a lot of them actually. Yeah. Yeah. Speaker B: And they're like all. Speaker A: They're all over the place. Speaker B: They're in vague and interesting for a secondary. Speaker A: Pretty sick. Speaker B: Okay. So the upgrade testers mean that minor damage at 8 would be the break and 17 for severe. Speaker C: And then it goes up. Speaker A: So. Yeah. In your armor here. Yeah, yeah. So yeah. You write it. Yeah. On your. Yeah. So here and then. Well, on your character you do add your level to your base thresholds. So it goes up by one or. Yeah. Speaker C: So it would be nine and 18. Speaker A: And then if you have other features that bump those up. Yeah. So once you're done with experiences, let me know and we'll get start doing domain cards and experiences too. Those also you can come up with too. And if you don't like them while we're playing then just. We'll just change them. But Audrey and Doc should have plenty of experience to try. Yeah. Speaker E: So with like the. With the Seraph, their spell casting trait is strength, but Doc's background was not strength. But if I don't choose that, is that kind of like supernatural, my character? Speaker A: Probably not. And I think it might be interesting too as like a character growth thing for Doc. As you're learning this new, like, form of magic, that would be something you could level up. Speaker E: He was mine, which is more like, I guess, knowledge maybe. And his mind and agility were higher than his strength, which I can just make agility and strength more than the knowledge too. Speaker A: Yeah. You guys will have opportunities to level. And we're not going to stay at level one very long. Speaker C: I don't know. Speaker A: No, because number one. Brutal. Because you guys have everyone. But Wes has played four sessions as a level one guy already, so. Speaker C: Number one, you don't know a lot of offense. Speaker A: No, you don't. Speaker E: You looked at my book. Speaker A: I wrote about the season. Speaker C: No. Speaker A: When did you send that to me? Speaker E: But it was fine. It was like. Speaker A: Oh, that's weird. I didn't even get no Enter. That's weird. Speaker E: But I wrote like a whole bunch of stuff that it could, like overboard. Not intending. It's just like options. Yeah. We need to experience. Speaker A: Yeah. I'll look at that after session. Speaker B: Domain. Speaker A: Yeah. You got your experiences. What domain is your valor? Speaker D: And Blade. Speaker A: I think you are sharing with Doc. Speaker B: I think. Oh, you should have some stuff. Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker B: I think the glory one. What's that? Speaker A: Share. Speaker B: As far as gardening in the deck. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker E: The Splendor in battle rails. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker E: Splendor. We can work that out or. Speaker A: Thank you. Speaker E: Tense priority over. Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker C: Yes. Speaker B: No. When you take pride in Splendor. Speaker E: Over. Speaker A: We'll work it out. Uhhuh. Speaker B: I'm leaning more towards Codex and spells, which have to balance out the bard, which. Speaker C: Yeah, we'll see. I may stick with just Grace. Speaker E: I don't meet those. Well, I know. Speaker B: Last time when you were doing the horror. You really like that ice shark. Speaker A: Here's Splendor. So you and Steve can start looking at the. It's just the tier ones. Speaker E: So I want this one. Yeah. Speaker D: That one seems great. Speaker E: Construction ring. Speaker A: And then West. You don't share Blade with anyone. Speaker B: I don't think so. Speaker A: Or does he? Or is that with Sir? Speaker E: No. Speaker A: Okay. Speaker E: I. Sure. Splendor Within. Speaker B: I am your shield from valor. Unless you really were dying for it. Speaker E: Oh, you should have that. Yeah. That will just kill me. Speaker B: See? Speaker A: Then you're Grayson. Speaker C: Grace and Codex. Speaker A: Codex is a book. Speaker C: Grace is like the butterfly. Speaker A: Yeah. You and Steve share this one, don't you? Speaker C: You can look at it first. Speaker A: Steve, when you're ready. Yes. Here's the Valor ones first. Speaker B: Any of these have like, prerequisites if you have that? Speaker A: Nope. Not that I know of. I don't think so. Speaker B: That's cool. Speaker A: Yeah. And it's like. Same with, like, when you multiclass. I don't think there's any. Speaker B: One at a time. No, I give it over to. Speaker E: There's secondary here. Speaker A: Yeah. Yes. You get two cards. Choose two. I know. Speaker C: I like their art. Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. You get two cards. Speaker C: I have to take the inspirational word because that was. Speaker B: That was nice. Speaker C: That was a good one. Speaker B: I'm leaning towards the Book of Dafar and. Speaker C: Go for it if you want. Speaker B: Those are the two I'm looking at. Speaker C: Okay. Speaker A: And then if you guys really are like, this fits my. Need this for my character and you both want it, then we'll get. We'll just get another one out for. We'll just get out of Wes's set. That's just the preferences to start with. Not doubling. Speaker B: No, that makes sense. And that's why I pull them up. Because it's a barge and how he wants to build it. So the Elderite Duster has four armor slots. Speaker A: Yes. Speaker B: Okay. Speaker A: Yeah. That's the only thing I think I don't like in the rule books. I think they refer in the rules as like, armor score for the armor. Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker D: They call it base score. Speaker A: Yeah. But then it's just armor slots on your sheep. Pretty confusing. Speaker D: Proves valor, if you want to look at it. Speaker E: And then on the Elderite rifles, it's just whatever. Or Elderite weapon is. Whatever one we pick, it's over. Speaker A: Right? Speaker E: We just do that damage. Speaker A: Yeah, you add those. The Elder. Right. Stats to whatever guns you're picking or whatever. Like whatever your Elder. No, it's both. Speaker C: You. Speaker A: You pick is physical or magical. So you're fighting because of the way the weapon is. So. Yeah, they did physical magic, so it's. Speaker E: DA+2E, M. Whatever we want it to. Speaker A: Here's. Speaker C: That's basically those for now. Speaker E: Yep. Speaker A: Okay. Then we pick one every time we level up. Yes, I believe so. Speaker E: That one's. That's gonna be tough. Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. There's a lot of. When I like sleeping all these guys kind of reading them. Speaker D: I want like four of them next level and I get one of them. Speaker C: We can go to the library and learn all the. Spend our lives in there learning all the magic. Speaker A: That's right. This code doesn't. Yeah. Speaker C: No, there's some barred ones that's like. Speaker E: Are we done with valor? Yes, we're done with valor. I'll probably just take all. We're picking two out of that. Speaker A: Yes. Two out of your. It should be on your character. Let's see, after that, domain cards. And then it's connections, which really right now the only people that that would be relevant for is Doc and Audrey. But you guys can worry about that later. So it's just questions on the back. Speaker C: Of your character sheet might be next session. Speaker A: And if they're not relevant, we can make up new ones. But we can worry about that stuff later because they're kind of like. Speaker C: Oh, yeah, there's the inventory on the back. Speaker A: Yes. Yeah. On the back of your character sheets. You guys do have some, I think, options to put as well, which I guess only. Really only matters for the health pot and Stan. Yeah. So I'll say all. All of you guys feel free to pick the alter stand. And then. Yeah, whatever. On the inventory stuff, we'll say those are the Doc had crafted the potions, but before has it. Didn't you have some killing pots you made before? Yeah, so that will be fine. If you guys each have one, you start one. Speaker B: Stamina is for stress. Speaker A: Yes. Kind of. Speaker E: What? Speaker A: They probably should have just called it the Stress punch. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: But I don't know, maybe that doesn't sound. Or they should have called stress stamina on your character. Speaker B: That would make sense. Speaker A: Yeah. Those are 1D4. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: Yes. They're minors. Yeah. They're D fours. Speaker B: Double check my thing here. Speaker C: I think it was. Speaker E: Yep. Speaker A: 1D4. The nifty rulers wants to be. Actually, Nina, I wrote how many squares are on that. They need to distance represents to it. So there's some more coming too. There's like three or four more classes in play testing right now. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: Like only warlocks. There's a warlock. There's a Blood Hunter. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: I think there's one other. Yeah. Speaker C: Because I was surprised. There's no warlock on action. That's a staple. Speaker A: So those may be something that people can transition to, but we'll see. Or that'll just be next game. Yep. Next fantasy. Speaker B: Most of them are healing and Audrey is kind of like. Yeah, healing could come in handy. But he hasn't really healed much, so I just saw more of an offensive. So. Yeah, pick the one that fits better. And those are a variety. There's three spells per card. Speaker D: So I'm. Speaker A: Not swap this one. This one's on another focusing that valor. Yeah. You will probably be. Speaker B: Yeah, I'll just take something simple that doesn't cost, though. Speaker A: Oh, you. You can if you want Double Valor. If you don't want flay. Speaker D: No, that's fine. Speaker A: Okay. Speaker D: I looked at him. Speaker A: Okay. Speaker B: I thought about Double Valor, but I. Speaker D: Want Double Valor at like level three. Level one. I got the best one I found. Speaker C: Already. Speaker B: Had a couple of cool cards. One was anytime you roll the one you could enable it. Speaker D: That's what I'm doing. That's what I just grabbed. I just swapped out for that one. Speaker B: That one was very handy. Speaker A: All for tonight. Your. I guess your blade will just be a cut list but you can use strength on it. So it's just the D8 plus 1 plus elder. Right. And then I'll look at your. Most of the stuff will probably be fine because I. All your elder right. Weapons will increase. So when you hit tier two, they all go tier two like because they're essentially end. Speaker E: I put like 10 things up there. So it's just like picking what I think they can do out of that. I made up a bunch of stuff. Speaker A: That may be something that has just evolved. So as you tear up, that's the. Speaker E: First thing it says on there is like open. But then it's like which of those would make sense? I started. I did like a few that I thought would be an order of tears but then I started writing more. I've been working on an RPG too long that I see stuff like that. I start like there's something to computer. Speaker A: No, this. This system is super friendly to homebrew and they do have a homebrew. A whole PDF like dedicated PDF to homebrew. Speaker E: Well especially considering how the system came about. Having a page dedicated to homebrew is kind of a screw. Speaker A: Yeah, they talk about it talks about how to do like basically how to do ancestries, classes, weapons, armors. It pretty much is easy. It's almost as easy as dun World to home brew stuff where you like balance. Like this has a more balance in it. But since damage is generally limited to like a max of four, there's a massive damage rule and like it's still pretty balanced. Like you don't have to worry about giving someone like unless you get like instant gift rifle or something. Yes, I. And then Steve for your for comment. Well right now It'll be a D6 plus one Fire and Magic damage. So we'll set stuff on fire. It's a finesse weapon. And then you can spend a stress to add a damage dice and I'll. I'll print you a little card out for next session. Speaker B: Okay. Speaker A: What's the range far? Yep. Speaker B: Lighter blaze silver knife. Speaker C: I got. Speaker B: Can I count that as a small dagger for my secondary? Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. It would fit as a dagger and. Speaker B: That would probably stay as finesse. Speaker A: Yeah I. I just made the exception for like your main weapon. Speaker B: Yeah, no, that. Speaker A: That fits. But everything else will just use whatever stats they have for their. Speaker E: So the Cutlass would be a inventory weapon. If I was carrying my rifle. Speaker A: Okay. The fungal network. Speaker B: Oh yeah. Speaker C: How you can just communicate with any. Speaker D: So you're dead. Speaker A: What? Speaker C: There's that but then just the on the instinct role. Speaker A: You can like connect to any fungal anywhere. Speaker C: You can communicate across any distance. Speaker B: So if you went into the common Market, you found a shop spilling mushrooms, would you become enraged or would you. Speaker A: Talk to them or angry. Speaker C: Angry. Funny. Speaker B: You're eating my kid. Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker C: Going to restaurant fight the coke. Speaker B: You're chopping up my friend Hannibal. Speaker A: Friday. Speaker B: The dirt full on evolutionist of survival of the fittest. Speaker C: And maybe that would also be another way, you know, they were weak, they didn't survive. Speaker B: Every year you go into. Let's say I want bowl of mushrooms. Speaker A: There you go. Speaker C: That'd be funny. Speaker E: See how this works out. Speaker A: Okay. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker A: And like if. If we. If you have card and you don't end up not liking it. It's not. It won't be a big deal. Swap it out. Speaker B: Trading up that defense card for the daggers was. Speaker C: Yeah, that would be. I don't like other goblins. Speaker A: They're too much like pixel. Yeah, I like the past binary goblin. Speaker C: Yeah, that's my goblin. The warhammer goggles. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker E: Wild. Speaker A: Yeah. So you guys should all have your two hope and the max stress of six. Your armor threshold should be your base plus level. Armor scores, how many slots you pound up. Your proficiency is one. It just means you get one damage days and it may affect some other things. I'm going down starting. Speaker C: Players plus something. Speaker A: Yeah. Can I combine a color? For what? Speaker B: Well, it says you either got a book you're trying to read or a harmless elemental pet. And then decide how you want to carry your spells. Can I make my harmless elemental pet by floating Grimoire? Speaker A: You'd have to. Well, I guess it'd have to need to be something that matches with what Audrey has already. You are converting Audrey. So you'd have to explain I guess how you got new stuff. Okay. Plus I guess up until now Audrey's like just been like learning. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: Learning spells from memory. Speaker C: Hang out with Ollie and make the Grim. Speaker A: No, that maybe that could be something that would happen with you guys did with some downtime stuff. Okay. Speaker B: The RP downtime between. Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker A: Yeah. Because I. Because if we've got. If everyone's characters are basically done building other than like yeah, I'm done. Speaker B: I think I'm done. Speaker A: I'm done. Speaker C: I have cards. I have weapons. Speaker D: All. Speaker B: All the bases. Speaker C: I have stats. Speaker A: Okay. Speaker E: Do that. Speaker B: So down dollars. Speaker A: Go. Oh, gosh. Speaker B: So a downtime project would be with Ollie to make a ring that stores a harmless spirit. And that's where all the spells are. Speaker C: Need to go find a vampire kid when they're ready to go. Speaker A: Hey. Speaker B: We're near the mine. Speaker E: We're really sorry we killed you. The one of your spirit. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker C: You want to be in this ring? Speaker A: Your. Speaker E: Your only responsibility is to travel around with this guy named Cash and just tell Huts that's all you're expected to do. Speaker B: I love it. Speaker D: Oh man. Speaker C: Come out and stare at him at night. All night. Speaker B: Doc would just come unglued. I killed you. Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker B: Does it? Speaker E: I don't know that it's in the ring. He just gave me this gift ring. And they were thrown away. But that's the source of the goblin coming out of the night. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker E: Or the spirit. Speaker C: Yeah. SP comes out every night and stares at you. Speaker B: You just hear a lip smacking. Speaker C: Trying to sleep non stop. Worst white noise ever. Speaker E: That pale rider. Pill rider is so pale. Speaker A: Yeah. I guess we'll do a quick review of I guess some other notes that since we're kind of changing systems and then we'll go to the epilogue stuff. And then before we actually start playing, I'll do the quick overview of Dagger Heart rules again. And then we'll introduce guys and then just figure out what we're doing after that. Plays Time skip. All right. I hope that's for you guys. I guess. Another vision. I guess. How do you guys want to handle missing players again? Like do we still want to just keep what we're doing? Yeah. Essentially just talk about it. Speaker B: Carousel says welcome back. Speaker E: I might find it's more brutal to have particular members gone sometimes. Like our guardian. Guardian might be pork chop sandwiches, but. Speaker B: That might be the only time he has to commune with his deity. Speaker E: Yeah. But will have not known that we ever had a guardian. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: That's true. Speaker C: Huh. We need to hire someone. That's a shield. Speaker E: You open the door. Speaker D: No, you open the door. Speaker A: I guess all. And then I guess right now I don't. I may or may not run one shots in the empty session. So either that will be up for someone else or we'll just skip or do like board games or something. So now we'll just talk about that when it comes up. Speaker B: Empty sessions. Speaker A: Yeah. So like if a player's out and we don't want to be a story but still me, if someone wants to run a one shot for that, like a scheduled absence, I guess cool. Unplanned ones will probably just run the story. Unless the table is like. Speaker C: Yeah, the most. Speaker A: Probably just. Yeah. Speaker E: We're usually pretty good though, figuring that out. Speaker A: Oh, no. Speaker C: How much do we need a tank? Speaker E: Volcano monsters are like. Yeah, there we go. Speaker C: Wait, we need a healer. Speaker A: So. Yeah. So yeah. So that's just that stuff. And then. Speaker E: Yo. Speaker B: We can be parasols. Speaker A: Before, I guess, for your current characters before we actually transferred to Dagger Heart. Is there any, like, I guess, epilogue stuff, RP downtime, time skipping that you guys want to do? Speaker B: I'm gonna probably be at Nightmore now. Carousels, Carnival. Speaker E: How much time are we talking about? Speaker A: I don't know. Speaker B: We'll figure that out. So the downtime, that would let him work with Paulie as well as. Speaker E: That's true. Speaker C: Audrey. Speaker B: It's probably woods on him help set up the underworld. Speaker A: Yeah, I think. I think you guys, like, I guess decide the things you want to accomplish and then we'll figure out the time thing that we would need to skip. Speaker B: Figuring out the map room and then. Speaker A: Figure out, like, what. And then I guess we'll figure out what happens with the world while you guys are doing what you're doing. Speaker E: I feel like we discovered Willy Wonka's chocolate factory underneath an undead town. Doc would be spending time going back to Graves Landing to chocolate Ranesys about the coming rift that's going to happen in the Pale writers and kind of like talking to her to figure out who the true believers are getting allies, figuring out how to approach the. The great city and deal with the situation and update around everything we just. Speaker B: Saw as you're leaving to fill her in on that. Must cash in. Speaker A: Boom. Speaker B: Before the. Speaker E: Yeah, true. Speaker A: Yeah. So that'll be an RP for, I guess, most of that conversation. Because right now you guys essentially, like, you get. We've made it back to imported back. So you're in Brace Landing. I guess that's the start of this stuff. So Doc and Ramses need to talk. Oh, Audrey. You are going back to Nightmoor. Back to Nightmoor. Well, I guess carousel's plentiful now. Yeah. Speaker E: I just need to free this. That's fine. Speaker A: Go on. Speaker E: I can't do that unless I free that. Speaker A: Just free. That's all. Speaker E: We probably have to first free the pale riders and get them unified. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: I get a dragon out of a mountain. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker E: First guys have to overthrow the. Overthrow the greatest political force in the land. Speaker A: It. Speaker E: There'S actually a skill on the. Speaker A: The. Speaker E: The serif stuff that I was like. Speaker A: I want that one. Speaker E: But it's like three or five or something. Like, that's the one I need for this story arc. Speaker A: Right. Speaker E: This one right here. Speaker C: Training montage. Speaker E: It's like, inspiring people and, like, having them follow you. And, like, that's the one. Speaker A: And I. I guess, too, that will be something for you guys to think out of. Out of session, too, is like, where do you think you need to get within this new actually leveled system before you think you can accomplish, like, your. One of your, like, major goals? Speaker E: Whatever's on that card, it was three. That's how far I. Speaker A: Think about that. And then, like, send it to me so I can plan out some stuff. So, Audrey, you went to Carousel's Caraville Carnival to study with Odd or with Ollie? Was that what. Speaker B: Yeah. And we'll make that ring with the. Speaker C: Funniest spirits there was. Speaker E: There was just spare ones laying out sulky things. Speaker C: Open the closet. Hey, there's one. Speaker A: I was gonna say you could. That could be something you could pull out and probably just pull out of the animal. Speaker B: Okay. Speaker A: Because Ollie would knows quite a bit about that. And there are, like, sketchy creatures in there. Speaker B: So a spirit of knowledge. Not a pride, not a, you know. Speaker A: Or. Speaker D: A lot of different spirits. Speaker E: The random spirits. Reminds me there's a British television show of Cargo that moves in, and the wife can see the spirits and hear them and stuff, but the husband can't. And there's like, night, like eight or nine of them that run around, but they always. When they go to the basement, there's some people that died in the house, like, years and years ago of, like, the plague. And so ghosts look at them as, like, the dregs of the ghost world. And they don't ever go down to visit them because they're the plague. Speaker A: I guess you'd need Jock to build you a ring. Speaker C: Doc would build the ring. Speaker B: He's just gonna build things a Jarvis. Speaker A: Probably. Probably be infused with elder. Right. Speaker C: So he can hold the elder. Right. Or work. So no. Speaker A: Unless with cash, you guys could figure out how to. Speaker B: Ring with a warp stone gem in the middle. Speaker C: There we go. Speaker E: Just don't lick it. Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. Speaker C: It's not a ring, Pop. Speaker A: Ollie would probably. This would probably need to take like a month, I think, for what you want to build. To pull out a spirit and then trap it. She would probably teach you or show you how to build souls, like, to build soul stones. Speaker C: Jock starts handing out rings of Power. Speaker A: Trust me. Speaker E: Where this is. Speaker A: That one was made. So yeah, that would probably be like a month project to build an elder. Right. Ring to grow a soul stone. And then Ollie would teach you how to trap a soul in a. Which you would just suck out of the anwin. Speaker B: Well, better in the house. Speaker A: One of their. Like. Speaker D: Your soul. Speaker E: The secret's bacon. And the soul. Speaker B: Smoke the ring and. Speaker E: That'S what attracts the spirits. Speaker B: So then Audrey have two rings in the stable ring and then. Or it could be a bracelet. It's just some form of. Speaker A: So I. I forgot we have. We have this floating brain. Speaker E: Yep. Speaker A: Would Audrey want to have that for his grimoire? Because that's the point of those floating brains. Just follows you around. Speaker C: That will attract att. Speaker A: That might be too weird. Speaker C: I don't know. Speaker D: It's the weird west. Speaker C: Have it in a backpack when we're in town. Speaker D: Well, that's the brain away. Speaker B: It lives in the ring and it just comes out there. Speaker D: Even with the horse. Speaker E: Talking to his brain guy next to him. Speaker A: Okay, we'll go with this spirit and their brain. Speaker C: Maybe after we deal with the pale riders and misras, we'll have the brain follow something openly. Yeah. Speaker A: Okay. I guess that's what Audrey's gonna accomplish. I guess. Cash and Jock, you guys have anything specific that you need to do? I guess on screen or I guess describe or what you guys are planning to do? Speaker D: Cash goes in the mines. Speaker A: Mining? Yeah. Speaker D: Spending a lot of time down there. Speaker A: Working on his projects. Speaker D: And then he'll visit Carousel's carnival every once in a while to get guidance, spiritual guidance. Speaker A: And also too like once chunks of time pass. We'll probably have you guys update like Jack and Crosh and Ash of a million. Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker D: I mean, for all we know, Junior is going to die and Cash is. Speaker A: Going to have to come out of retirement. Speaker B: New from Flamo. It's a new weapon. Not only does they blue, do they. Speaker E: Blow up, they disintegrate. Speaker B: And somewhat deep inside says and you tune into confetti. Speaker A: Yeah, I guess. Forage making. Speaker C: Whatever. Building bigger, stronger things. Speaker B: First dying horse comes to. Speaker A: Maybe. Okay. Speaker B: Motorcycles. Speaker C: Might be cool. Speaker B: All the right power. Speaker A: That's right. Speaker D: They got the screaming engine. Purple trails. Speaker C: Then he probably could. There's not a railroad near Braves Landing. Speaker A: No, that's something you'd want to. Speaker C: That would be with all that money, we'd either build it or we'd tell the railroad company, hey, come down here. Speaker E: We'd start with that. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: And same with the night More or. Speaker B: Carousel now as we're connecting the two. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker B: Maybe down to the mine as well. Speaker E: Yeah. You do the motorcycles thing. We have to like view them all. So it's like a Power Ranger. So it's all different colors. Flame trail. It's like holy. Speaker C: Years. Speaker E: You've been like what color is the warps down? Speaker A: Purple. Speaker D: Colors you can't even describe. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: Flashes all the time. Speaker A: Carousel's carnival. You guys definitely would want to do this railroad spur down at some point. Speaker C: Jack would go use that money to persuade. Speaker E: That's a nice way to put it. Speaker A: You want to connect the mine too. Speaker C: Sure. There's just gold in there. There's nothing else. Speaker A: I mean you could build. I mean you could build a private one that goes from wine to build a different braid has a different gauge. Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker D: Our car works. Speaker E: Actually. Speaker A: Maglev all the right love. Speaker E: We actually had two competing gauges when we were building the railroads originally. Speaker A: Really? Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker C: It was a mess. Speaker E: Sounds it was on purpose. Speaker D: Just like charger plugs for electric cars. Yeah. Speaker A: Just watching the fictional show. Like hell. Hell on the needle. Still. If any of that was remotely true. The whole thing was just a dumpster fire. It was. Could just breathe. Speaker C: Power. Probably would look at building like Eldorite rail somehow. Or Eldrite engine. Speaker A: I said Eldritch engine would make sense. We can also like just scream. You guys want to do like if like Jock and Cash or whatever need to do off screen library trips. We can probably do that. Speaker C: I don't know. Speaker A: They went out of the library. Speaker E: Never came back. Speaker D: I don't know. They rolled a few ones and that was it. Speaker B: Doc sister's like I don't know where he went but he hasn't been back. You need to go find him. Speaker C: I don't know if Jock would go back there. Speaker A: Yeah. I don't know. Speaker D: I love the library. Speaker C: Definitely the server room and all the brains and he had a somewhat understanding of what that probably was. Speaker E: Just get all. You make like a thousand skellies and just take the library over. At least the entryway. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker E: 100 doors. Speaker C: This is ours now. Jock and Cash would never get out of. Speaker A: I was gonna say the library is infinite. Speaker E: Just so you have to only take. Speaker A: Over like by your door. You might be able to like. Yeah. Maintain a certain area here for your own. Speaker E: The library wars. Speaker A: You know a front line for the library. So that's how you try to get. Speaker E: A whole standalone rpg. It's just the fighting in the library. Speaker B: That's almost like a medical drama. You got a virus or something going into the library. Speaker E: It's gonna push it back out. Speaker C: Josh would shoot someone to worker down. Speaker B: That's to make a point. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker E: No one would shoot. Speaker C: We left him in a safe. Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker C: That was brutal. Speaker D: For eternity, I assume. Speaker B: Well, until somebody opens the door. Speaker C: That was one of the most brutal things ever. Speaker E: Even Doc was like, I'm good at this. There's an arc that was fine with murdering us and turning us in. Speaker C: Yeah, he kept running off too. Yeah. Speaker A: Okay. So yeah, I guess we'll do do our recap and then I guess we'll pop to dot. You guys still at Brave Landing while Doc goes talks to Ramsey. So if anyone else wants to tag along for that, we can do that. And then we will do this month time skip and new people will arrive. Speaker D: Yeah, I think Cash has an overwhelming amount of stuff to work on, so. Speaker A: I don't think he's going. Speaker C: Jack's not down with hokey religion. Speaker D: Wish I could be in two places at once, but. Speaker B: Well, if you're working on the ring, that means Audrey would probably be in Brave's Landing for that creation before going to Ollie, so I'd probably tag along. Speaker E: I do need to understand better because it's been a little bit the status of Mithras that we know so far and the role of the. The chains on the beard. Mechanisms we found specific to imprisonment. Speaker A: Yeah. So you know that he's wrapped in the mountain, I think somewhere bound by massive manacles. And they're like. Magical. Yeah, magical. And they had forged in the place we discovered, right? Speaker E: Yes. Speaker A: Yeah, they were forged there. And then Jock learned about Titanium. Speaker E: Dre home. Speaker A: I don't see what else. Speaker E: You are Iron Man. Speaker A: You learned the. You learned three names. Speaker E: I think I did that. Speaker A: Of the church. Like the church leaders that were there at the time when they were talking to sisters. The. The manacles and shackles and stuff did have like needles in them to like bloodlet at all. Make sure I didn't forget anything else. Speaker C: I think that was a big info dump session. Speaker A: It was. That was a massive info dump session. That's. I know. Speaker E: We had discovered Calvich the Nemesis. Demetrius. Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. You guys got the names? I. I have them. It's Wraith Obscura and Morwin. Are the three names you and all. Speaker E: The workers were killed after completion. Speaker A: Yes. And that's what like that was like all the corpses you found and where a majority of the shades vectors came from, which was like two months ago. Cool. Speaker E: I think I have a general understandment and that we consider the three are the likely. The triumphant rate that Run the show right now in the church. Speaker A: Yeah, he did. Learning. Let's see. They just started mass. You learn three names. Yep. But this was also like 200 years ago when that took place. Speaker E: Oh, okay. Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what. Yeah. So you learned the names of those people from that were involved 200 years ago. Alcohol. That was session 33. That that all happened in. So if you want to go listen to audio for that session, that should be there to get all the details Again. Speaker E: Did we learn what the blood was being left for? Just to keep. Speaker A: Yeah. You guys have no clue on that side. Yeah. So last time Audrey had his dream with the nook, you told him to meet Alder, talk and act like Cash had his dream with the little girl asking him to kill more people. Add to our audience Jack been visited by the ferryman. He can tell them to expect a new herald. In Baith Landing. Doc learns that he has a glamour to hide his new float purpose. Let's see. And you guys fought Oros. Doc's horse died. Horse got defeated with dynamite and sustained gunfire. Doc incinerated the corpse. Then Gilbert came out. Mickey Moss Gilbert happy that giggles is dead. Many guys planned the constructing mass of carnival town. Ollie is in charge of taking care of the underground fortress. And then Doc and Ollie perform the ritual to transform his dead horse into a skeletal golden minute. I feel like undead mouth. Yes. Speaker B: So it's just a little bit more interesting. Speaker A: And now we're at brave landing. I said you guys are all back here. It's been two days. So I guess you guys have rested up and have either gone your way separate ways or whatever. And then Doc is on his way to ransom to easily find her at first for smithy. Speaker B: Councilman doesn't pay high enough to talk about the day job. Speaker A: Yeah. And she enjoys blacksmithing. It smite the. Speaker D: Yep. Speaker A: Might be blacksmithing. Yep. So she's like early 40s, 5 11, lean body, Ivy green eyes and mohawk that's deep blue with her booming New York accent. Speaker B: Can't you see I'm forging here? And Audrey brings a critic from the saloon with him. It's like dog's got to talk and you might want to drink. Speaker A: Yeah. She's just probably too much forging. So she talks. Just talks a lot anyways. Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker A: But yeah, she's just like, what. What can I do for you gentlemen? Speaker E: Say we talk. Speaker A: All right. Speaker E: It's important. And then I just let it transform. Speaker A: Her mouth kind of like drops and lets out a few expletives. Speaker E: I said that was my reaction as well. Speaker B: Pulled up a big glass of. Speaker A: He grabbed it and probably chugs it and then hands it back. Speaker E: So I don't think I've ever needed someone as much as I need you right now. I need to start relaying everything we just went through in the depths under the city. I said anecdotally, while I'm telling her all this serious stuff, go. Oh, by the way, I think your house is clear now. But it's a carnival. That was where her house was, wasn't it? Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, that's your original house. Speaker E: But they're not murder clowns anymore. Speaker B: The clowns have been rehabilitated and all the. They were raised that had been exercised. Speaker E: Good news, your house is open. Bad news, it's also inhabited by clowns. Speaker A: I think probably at this scene year. And look, she would very much be like dumbfounded but also like instantly watching the like. Yeah, thousand questions. Yeah, very cool. What happened where you like how I. Speaker E: Talk to her and I just say like, hey, we went beneath the city to cleanse it and the violence, find. Speaker A: Out what was going on. Speaker E: We found an old temple that actually would have some samples we would have brought with us of like the tapestries. I would like roll out the tapestry and pull out the traits of light the book and like lay it out for her to see. I'd like pull the saber, like I'd lay it all on the table and just talk to her about how I knelt before the statue and I was like, you know, you like, don't take this personally, but you started me on this path. I was searching for something, but now I found it. Speaker A: Do we have a problem? Speaker E: And then I go into the whole. Speaker A: I think like before you, like, as you're laying this stuff out and explaining your experience and stuff, I think she would probably actually start tearing up and probably almost crying and like, like keep like whispering or saying that like the legends are true. Yeah. Speaker E: And I would just be not even. Yes, yes. But myth is in great danger. And I would start to go through. I probably would have at least one of the tapestries that would kind of reveal about the Calvich and Orine relationship. I'm trying to give her like the whole picture. Like, yeah, there's this deep, centuries old battle and pretty sure I know where myth is being kept. But the people that would free her are divided. And I would say this is not something that I expected, but I've been asked to lead the pale writers to free Memphis. Then you choose to be waiting so that you can bring the old guard back. Speaker A: I'd say, yeah. Like, she would probably still be like, I guess tears because you've like revealed like this story stuff. You see that she is like a true believer in. In the way that would tell her. Speaker E: That, like, that's why I need. You're the only one I know that I read these things and thought of you. I read the traits of light. I read the traits of darkness. And you embody the light. Darkness, you bled in more blood in peace. Like, how do we. How do we move forward? It's like I've embraced it, but you have lived it. So I need someone to walk forward with me as a. As a champion. But I don't understand how we're going to do it yet. Speaker A: She went like, yes, I guess still like extremely emotional, but also that she'd be like, I'm being extremely honored to walk by your side. Speaker E: So now there's mine. Speaker A: We can restore, I guess redeem the pel. Riders. Speaker E: Or do I see her? Does she have her weapons there? Speaker A: They're probably not. I guess. I guess we probably went to her home to go chat and. Not that. Yeah, you'd probably. Yeah, they'd probably be like on a wall like over, like with her belt buckle and then turn moon and silver or sun and what I call them Moon, Moon, sight and sunset. Speaker E: Yeah, like just in holster. In a holster. Speaker A: They're like. They're like probably like one of those, like kind of like a display case almost. Speaker E: Yeah, I would. If it's open, I would just go take them out and I would bring them to her and just say, you know your captain mit. But we need someone with experience that can direct the guard in the times of darkness and just hand them to her. Speaker A: You got the Alpha. You just replies with like, I guess emotion and hair is like, to the death. That's it. I'll break. Speaker E: I'll save to the death. May it not be required. Speaker A: Amen. What is that? I said amen. And I guess you would share too, that like, he's like, I still know a lot of them up there. I can go and start whispering to them and see what. What numbers we have and if it will be viable to just storm just straight on, just as you reveal yourself and I. And our. And those that stand with. With us and we just fight it out. Or if we need to be more skullduggery, which is not my forte. Speaker E: Well, I don't know from time standpoint because I have new things like incorporating the wings. That might just be a RP thing. Speaker A: Well, so we'll be down here for like. Like this will be downtime like a month. So like this can be something that like as you're. And she may be teaching you some stuff too, but at the same time as your guys are exchanging stuff over this time that like you actually real like learn to like do that you're embracing new skills. Yeah, I. I would say that would be totally acceptable. And same with like the dragon's bread. That's. Yeah. Speaker E: I think just as being a chief of the Pale Riders, that I will just start embodying the aspects of the dragon. That's just part of this. The symbol that might even be in like the traits of light of whoever is leading along. The traits of which would be like the hard new skin, the wings, the breath. Speaker A: Yeah. More of the Avatar essences come out. Speaker E: Yeah. So as time goes on like I'm waking up going nothing's wrong. Speaker A: And then however you want like that stuff to manifest, that's totally up to you. Speaker E: I like the idea of it being with. That's why I love when you were talking about the dragon thing because if Mithras is giving charge, it's just another aspect of like the servant changes. Yeah. Speaker A: And then Ramsey I guess too would be like set up all day tomorrow. I said. Speaker E: I said be extremely cautious. Speaker A: If. Speaker E: If they are there, then there's agents. Speaker A: Of darkness all over the city. I know. That's why I left 10 years ago, I think is what. Let me see. Because she was a power writer for 20 years. She knows them only quit because they had too many of them have like fanatics and more like bullies and not help. Help being helpful. Speaker E: That's what maybe you know, you can find out. But if you've got like key champions in the, you know, other captains, other lieutenants or whatever that would be. Others would follow. Turn one, it turns 20 that she wants to bring some here to Brave's Landing for a discussion or to be that side talent so we can have a true session. Speaker A: Yeah. Well, yeah, I'll go. I'll go head back to the back there and see what's what because 3. Speaker E: Did become 100. Who knows? Speaker A: See if I can track down some of my. My teachers that were good. See if any of the people I wrote with still are still in it. Hopefully. Maybe they've been promoted. And if we're super fortunate, maybe we'll get some of the windrunners. Speaker E: I want to ask a GM favor. I want to actually use my mending touch for her but as like a charge of a pale rider leader, like choosing a captain that like my mending touch is to like, not just heal her, but like as a long term like blacksmith in her age. To like heal her of like, if she's got arthritis, old injuries. Like this is like a restorative pulse to enable her to go do the thing that she needs to do. Almost like a knighting. Speaker C: Fix her hearing. Speaker E: Yeah, right. No, that's endearing. Speaker A: I say no, 100% no. You can describe what that looks like and if it like puts a mark on her or something manifests from it. Speaker E: I would just lay her like her weapons down on the table and have her like put her hands on that. Put my hands on hers and that just go through like the oath with her. I do swear this, but then add to it, you know, as like a captain of the guard. Speaker B: May be blessed with. Speaker E: Yeah. They basically like may be young again and swift as you were in your prime, but with your wisdom you have now. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker E: Right. The youth is wasted on the other. Speaker B: That's. Speaker C: Why do we play these games? Speaker D: Escapism. Speaker B: Maybe caught some. Speaker E: I say as I eat my process the chair. Speaker A: I would say. Yeah. As you're doing that, you have something to. Speaker B: I was just thinking maybe called something like the Mithras compact. We've agreed to do this for Mithras, which was. Speaker E: It'd be like a take on a new convert coming in. It's like reaffirming but then adding to that. Like, you're going to do this charge. Speaker B: But just so you have a name for it for others that are. Speaker E: I'll say this to you. I'll ask this to you. That other skill I was talking about. If she's also like a Sarah that's more experienced. If she could have an aspect of that where she could be able to convince others and have an air about her of. Speaker A: Honestly, maybe that's the. The biggest thing. Like, that's the mark. Like they. She has some sort of the dragon in her now. Like whether it manifests as wings or as breath or like, like even a. Speaker E: Fake tale writer would have to know. Like something's different. Speaker A: They'd probably poop themselves. Yeah. Unfurl these like golden light, flaming wings just appear out of you and chop. Speaker C: Them down with them. Speaker A: But yeah, I mean that could be. I think that would be. Speaker E: She's like a herald. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker E: Not just an acolyte, but like an actual herald. Yeah. Speaker A: He champions Harold. Yeah. Speaker B: Not the one you're looking at, Jack. Speaker A: Harold. Harold with his dry fish. They always sucked on that One. Speaker C: What's that, Harold? I was thinking of the dragon age guy. Speaker E: Oh yeah. What's her. Speaker C: Oh yeah. Speaker A: With his pants. Speaker C: Naked pants. Speaker E: That was fun. Speaker C: Almost gone too. Speaker E: He did. It was really. And he became quartermaster. Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah, I'd say that like. Yeah. The herald of the champion. It's a mark of the dragon along with. Speaker E: I think so. Speaker A: Yeah. Your old guy that you played, the. Speaker E: One playing Dean Shadow, the demon loaded. Speaker A: And Dark Souls that was. Speaker C: Seems like 100 years old. And he just sucked down dry fish. Speaker E: All right, I feel compelled to have to make that noise. Speaker A: Yes. Enough romancing about stuff that Wes doesn't know about. Kind of rude. Speaker D: That's why I'm updating my character. She. Speaker B: Okay, I haven't heard this one either, so. Oh, that's. Speaker A: Oh yeah. Okay. Yeah. Speaker B: But the story sounds hilarious. It does. Speaker A: Well, he was a. He was like. You were deaf too. Like mostly deaf, weren't you? We were playing like a Dark Souls type thing. So like people would just die and the thing would reset and he's like. They go into this room that had like buttons and he was like, what? And he just keep pushing this button and like causing more crap. Speaker C: I would roll perception or whatever status to see if I heard correctly. And he just kept failing. So he's just pushing, activating the traps. And everyone was taking damage. Speaker E: There's a lot of death. Speaker C: And it was really just like I was waiting to see how long until someone on the table was like, all right, enough of this guy. Speaker A: I think. I think my. Besides that one, the other favorite that happened in that Caleb, Paul's son was Planos at the time and he had like a speed up skill or something. But there was a metal brass door and he was going to try and break it down. So he backed up and ran like more faster than like normal speed and just slams into it and dies. Speaker E: It's not the speed force, but did. Speaker B: It ring like a bell? Did he slide down or did he bounce off? Speaker A: He exploded because of the like. Because of the like the distance he traveled. And then like whatever his skill, it was like increase his speed. So according to like the damage rules, it was like near like Max, like damage for falling. And here you're level one. So you had like a single digit of hp. So it's like. Speaker E: Had some big deaths. Speaker B: He has not the Flash or Superman. Speaker A: All right. Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker A: So the herald of the D of. Speaker E: The champion gets a mark. Speaker A: Gets a dragon mark. So. So I'll think about what Ramses would. She would probably actually get end up with like dragon skills would like be able to like manifest that because of a cooler Mohawk. Less flaming Mohawk. Speaker C: Mohawks are cool. Speaker B: Why not both? Speaker A: Yeah. I was gonna say I think skill and flaming Mohawk. I think she can do skills and has like a mohawk turns to like gold fire light or something. But then she like hardens her skin just from all her. Because she is like a frontliner anyways and a blacksmith along with like rejuvenating her body. Yeah, yeah. As you're doing that on her and like blessing her. And then the. Her weapons actually also like you can see them like they're. The engravings on them light up. Then they fundamentally change as well. They're already pretty gross, but they're gonna be pretty close to all the right stuff now. Speaker B: Thanks. To get. Speaker A: Eventually we'll probably get there. I don't know. I don't know what level 10, like tier 4 in this system is probably going to be freaking wild. Yep. Level like 10 characters or whatever. Speaker B: But they're in a line. Speaker E: How far is it to travel to the city of the capital, which. The capital where she has to go. Speaker A: Let's see. I'll do as the crow flies because. Well, you would go north and catch the train at Phantom bank. And then it's like. Like several days because I. Oh, that. That's an express train. I forgot. So I think it's like two days. So in like less than a week. Because it's. It's three or four days from here from Braves to Phantom Bank. And then with the express train, I think it was like two or three, like two days because the train doesn't stop and it Travels at like 30 miles an hour for our express trains. Speaker C: Yeah, buddy. Speaker A: So it can cover like that 300 miles or whatever. Fairly. But. Speaker E: We don't have time to make more rings. But I'm excited for ring to like to bring back our teleporter. Speaker A: The. The Hearthstone stuff. No, that's gonna be a lot. That's a library trip because that's beyond Ollie. Speaker E: Give them the ring to come back quickly. That. That's a very useful tool for us. Speaker A: Oh yeah. That kind of teleportation will be either you get leveling up or do the library. Speaker B: Loner of the ring until she gets there. Speaker E: When she gets back and doctor give it to her and say how to use it. And then it would come back to the basement of the house because this is more important to him than anything. So what she's done, she did this instantly turn with anything in that space. So if she wants to bring back those leaders that have a con pad. They can just teleport back and then travel back traditionally or fly back if they court their. Mount their flying. Mount their dragon fly. Speaker A: So they would probably just fly here. That's actually would say that like if any of the wind runners defect, they'll just fly. If they love it. Speaker B: Flag. Speaker E: That's what I mean. She thinks she'll need the ringer. Speaker A: She's like, honestly, I won't be any danger in me coming back instantly at all. I think it would look weird too. I think if the pel riders just disappear without leaving. Speaker E: Okay. Speaker A: I think it would be better you just keep it. I think it'll be fine. I'll be gone for a month or two to quietly do this. She goes, I'll. I will. We're in seven out of nine months, I think. Let me look. No, I don't. Yeah, we're. How many months do we have more. We have nine months. Oh, how was. Just going. Yeah, she. Yeah, she goes, I'll be. I'll be back before the new year. Also, it's rough lady. And this would be like the day after you get like two days after you rest, and then you guys are having this conversation and then she sticks go. So. Oh, if you need markers, we have. Oh, I didn't tell me they're up here. Okay. They're on Nintendo. Speaker E: I'm supposed to actually pre roll six. Speaker A: Yeah. So then I guess unless we need anything else with time skip a month. I don't need anything. Basically, as Audrey and Doc and Jock are building, I guess Cash is mining and crafting. Crafting in the dungeon in the darkness. Speaker D: Sounds like multiple voices. Speaker A: Cash is the one that forges the one ring, tells him how to build it. Speaker D: Oh, yeah. Speaker C: If you make the new orc race. Speaker A: Make the. Speaker C: Or whatever they were. Speaker B: There is the ring of geheti. Speaker D: Comes out looking like a clown. Did you get that makeup? Speaker B: Pale of skin. Speaker D: Get that red nose buddy. Speaker A: Something like it. Speaker B: After that ring was made, then Audrey would probably go to the carnival, catch up with Holly. So when you leave Graves Landing, just. Speaker E: Pick up Audrey all the way through. Well, I'm not leaving. It'll just be. Speaker B: No, I mean when you do leave. Braves landing. Speaker E: I'm going. I'm assuming we're going where? The same place. Okay. We have an agent going after more pale riders, so I'm with you guys. Speaker B: Figure out how to fix it so you guys can communicate. Speaker E: Yeah, that might be another tray. Speaker A: Later. Speaker B: Visit the library. Learn how to grow worms. Ear worms. Speaker E: We need to go visit the mechanisms. Speaker B: There we go. Speaker A: Okay. Speaker B: How long you want to spend on leather? Speaker E: You know that they find the way out. Speaker A: Okay, let's see. Speaker B: Or I just need to find the rest of those coins. I'm good. Speaker A: All right, so we jump a month. Speaker D: Yes. Speaker A: So let's see here. Which character? Who wants to introduce their character first? You guys. Yeah, you guys are still all it. This would be a Braves landing or a black rock. Speaker B: All right, I think. Speaker D: You guys are probably like hanging out for the evening or something. And Cash shows up. He's got another guy with him. It looks exactly like Cash, but younger, way paler, and probably like twice his size. Twice the size of Cash. Like just a huge version of Cash. Speaker E: Doc's reaction. Speaker C: Who the hell is this? Speaker D: Easy, Jacques. This is my son, Junior. Junior, say hi to everybody. These are the folks I was telling you about. And he just like waves awkwardly at you. Speaker C: Jock would probably make a joke, like, found a woman down there? Speaker D: Well, technically, no. Speaker B: That's what happens when you date. Speaker D: The workstone has given me many talents. Junior year is the first one to grow up, and he grew up really big and really fast and well. Doc, I want to come with you, but I can't. I gotta go raise a bunch of other kids. Speaker C: There's more down there. Speaker D: Yeah, train like an army or something and we'll go close that portal. Speaker C: I don't know. Speaker D: I haven't figured it out yet. Plus, I got to run the carnival and I got to keep mine. That feels right, I guess. Speaker A: Like. Speaker B: Okay. Speaker D: Junior, take a seat. Junior, like, pulls out like a little stool and tries to sit on. It's way too small for him. He's like really unstable now. Junior, this is Doc, this is Audrey, this is Jacques. I need you to take care of him while I'm gone, okay? And he just kind of nods like he understands. You got the big. You got the battle ax we trained with. And he pulls out like this big eldritch battle axe. And he nods. Okay, you got your lasso and your alright duster. And he pats it. He checks everything. He's got it all. And then Cash reaches into his satchel and pulls out one last item. He says, all right. And this is for. If you ever don't know exactly what to do, just take a lick. And he hands one of Carousel's fruits to him. But only if you don't know what to do. Okay, well, good luck with the painted folk and everything. I hope you become the king. I'm not totally clear on it, but I'M sure it'll be great. It sounds important. It really does. Speaker A: Very important. Speaker B: Junior. Speaker D: Junior's gonna make sure you become the king Pope. I don't remember which. Speaker B: Junior. Speaker D: If they try to convert you from Carousel, just ignore them. They're good folk. Outside of the religious stuff, it's not polite to talk to religion. Speaker A: Thank you. Speaker E: I just look at him and say, son, what's your name? Speaker B: Junior. Speaker E: I just got a face that says I was foolish to ask. Speaker C: All right. Speaker D: He just looks happy to be here. He doesn't mind. You see, he, like, bends over and picks up, like, maybe a mouse that was scurrying around and just pets it a little bit, gives it a little bit of cheese or something from one of your plates. Like, he just grabs it off, then he puts it back down. Speaker E: Well, that's encouraging. Speaker A: So. Speaker E: Well, you know, we mostly only try to. If we have to kill. We only kill the bad guys. Speaker A: Oh, okay. Speaker D: Will you show me which ones are the bad guys? Speaker B: Yes, generally we will. Speaker D: Okay. I saw the sun today. It was bright. Speaker E: I just look around. Doc would actually say, like, from a medical perspective, and be like, so, do you eat? Speaker D: I love to eat. Speaker E: What do you eat? Speaker A: Everything. Speaker D: Anything. Speaker A: Cash. Speaker B: Dad. Speaker D: Paul gives me. Speaker B: Okay, that really wants to wrote those names, too. Speaker E: How many brothers or sisters do you have? Speaker D: Oh, I'm bad at the arithmetic. Speaker B: But, like. Speaker D: And he holds out his big hands. He starts trying to count more than 10. Speaker E: They're all boys. Speaker D: I don't know what that. I don't think so. Okay, maybe. Speaker E: Let'S go. I'm not educated. Speaker C: Figure that out. Speaker E: Doc's also very curious if there actually is anything down there to differentiate between man and woman. You just butted like a Ken doll. I'm not sure what's happening here. Speaker D: It's a good question. I'll have roll for it, because I don't even know this. Speaker E: The doctor side of the really curious with about 50 questions right now. Speaker D: So what do we do now? Speaker A: You're hungry. Speaker E: Get some food. Speaker D: Can I get food? Speaker E: Yeah. Food and drink at the counter. Speaker C: Not bad. Speaker E: Yeah, just take what you can eat. Speaker D: Handfuls of bread. Entire loaves of bread. He's trying to wash it down. He keeps trying the whiskey, and every time he's like. But he keeps going back to it. Speaker E: Like, don't overdo it with that stuff. I don't know if you had alcohol before. Speaker D: No. Speaker E: You'll be sorry if you drink too much of that. It'll make you sick. Oh, and it'll make you make bad decisions. Speaker A: It tastes Bad. Speaker E: Come on then don't drink it. Get you some water or some tea or something. Speaker B: A bucket. Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker D: He's got a huge cup of tea. Speaker C: The whole pot like a punch bowl. Speaker E: I bring you a cup and the kettle here is like. Speaker D: I'm sleepy now. Speaker E: That's what the first drink did to you. Speaker A: You wake up the next day and. Speaker D: Junior's awake and he just sits right by your side like a good dog. Speaker A: Basically. Speaker E: Have a puppy. Speaker D: We'll see how he develops. That's where he sat right now with the battle ax. Speaker A: Alrighty, so we got Junior has arrived. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker A: All right. Yeah, yeah, I'll say. Probably a day or two, maybe even like a week later after that. Speaker C: Job. Speaker A: Here, walking in Bridge landing and you see a monarch butterfly. Ripped by. Speaker C: Know what that means? Might be different color than normal one. Like I've seen these before and I. Speaker A: Start falling kind of bleach. Speaker B: I saw a butterfly. Speaker E: It's all black. Speaker A: Yeah. Yep. And as you're following it, you see it that lands on the shoulder of a young 20 something looking guy and you both lock eyes and in that moment you're both surrounded by tons and tons of butterflies and you see kind of like materializing out of the middle between you two off to the side. So you guys are kind of forming a triangle around 8 foot tall matronly woman, mustard colored skin, large pink eyes like Pixar style. And the pupils in the irises are all formed butterfly like or like a butterfly that's just black and teal. Her hair is long and flowing and it's composed of monarch butterfly that's orange and black and it kind of just like flutters all around her. She's clothed in like the 1800s Western style, long sleeve like button up shirt, lace at the collared wrist, riding shirt, cowboy hat. The shirt is, it looks like it's just composed of blue and black butterflies. They're like fluttering there. The riding skirt is all black and red butterflies. Cowboy boots are colored like, are black and red themselves. And she looks at first at you jock, she kind of like nods and he goes, you have fulfilled your role as a reaper. And take this blessing of peace in my calling card if you ever have. Speaker E: Need of me again. Speaker A: And then she turns and looks at the other guy and just says, it is your, it is now your time. Speaker for the dead. And then, then you guys find yourself back like in where you locked eyes. Yep. Speaker C: So standing in front of Jock, he would see like an early 20s, he's standing about 58 with dark brown curly hair. And the tightest cut clean shaven on one side of his face like down like this is an elegant French like masquerade mask that's white with black and gold stencil design of butterflies where the eye would be. Speaker A: It just be black on that mask. Speaker C: And then he's wearing a dark blue coat with gold accents with a high collar and a crest of a raven perched on a stack of books with a parabolic branches on each side. On his right chest under the coat he wears like a button red vest and a white ruffled shirt connected to his vest is like a silver chain pocket watch. Around his neck he wears a silver locket and he had been wearing black like English style riding boots. Speaker E: Stylish. Yeah. Speaker C: Getting old man. Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker E: Gavish would be proud but he might be jealous. Speaker C: Yeah like that it is more nice. He would probably bow bout a Jock but then he'd like start playing his violin and like spinning and be like well I guess I'm up. Kind of speaks in somewhat like a French accent. His mannerisms is like a trained noble. He holds himself and walks with like precision and control. Speaker A: Yeah just something just out. Speaker C: Yeah something's had to do like his. Speaker A: Whole life he's been around. Speaker C: Yeah man. Just do it naturally because that's what. Speaker A: And I would say, I'd say like Jock would take. Take you take him to the saloon and introduce introduces him to the. I mean I'll say cash and Junior there too. Speaker C: So like and you're drinking the whole bar man. Speaker D: Junior's discovered beer. He loves how fizzy it is and it comes in bigger sizes slowing you down. Speaker E: Is it actually affecting him? Probably not. Speaker D: Probably not much. Speaker E: I'm just wondering if it is. It would take a lot would just. Speaker C: Be making his drink stronger and stronger to see. Speaker D: Yeah it will eventually I'm sure the. Speaker C: Beer just keeps getting darker and darker. Then eventually clearer and clearer. Goes the other way. Speaker E: Earlier. Speaker B: No, Dennis did Ethereum. Speaker C: Starts out darker and darker then goes the other way. Oh it might be stronger. This will clean the rust off stuff. Speaker A: Let's see. Speaker B: Junior out. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker A: So yeah. So Jock introduces. Speaker C: Yeah Jock would introduce him I guess. Yeah his name's Edgar. Speaker E: Edgar. Speaker C: Edgar. Yeah, Edgar. Speaker A: Edgar. Yep. Speaker E: With a D or G? Speaker C: Just G I R. Edgar. Speaker E: Okay. Speaker C: Yep. Edgar. Speaker A: And then. Speaker B: Does he like it when people call him Eddie? Speaker C: Find out. Speaker A: Is that Audrey asking so you guys like you can RP this stuff? Speaker B: Yeah, it'd be one of those things. He'd probably just lean over like if he's next to Doc or back. He's not used to seeing this nobility. Speaker C: Yeah. He would bow. Be like, I'm here to help you guys with things. Speaker D: Nice to meet you. And then he tries to like shake his hand. Speaker E: And he's like really hesitant putting his hand out. Speaker D: He's like practicing shaking hands still. Speaker E: It's like he misses that. You're just like don't know what else. Speaker C: He went show him. You're like. Like this son. Speaker D: Oh, thank you. Speaker E: And the arm and the body go. Speaker A: Up. Speaker E: When you say that he's going to come with this. Doc would kind of look at Jacques like raise eyebrow, not saying anything but like no. Speaker C: Jock would explain like my time is done being out in the world. I'll be here in the forge. Because we need to build many projects for what we're dealing with. Speaker E: Doc would say you're. You do need that. But we're going to miss you out in the field. I tell Edgar, Edgar, Eddie. Edgar. Speaker C: In your head you could just hear Edgar, let's see if I can talk to people. And it's like. Speaker E: You have big shoes to fill, but they're really your own. Speaker A: Well I think. I think Jock too would say like he's my place. Yeah. Yeah. Speaker E: That's why I would like raise my eyebrow at Jacques to be like. Speaker C: Because I don't. Speaker E: We haven't really discussed this to this. Speaker C: I was just like, oh we would have somewhat when we were traveling about Jacques would probably spend time talking about projects to build things to do. Speaker D: Jacques, you're leaving. Speaker A: I am. Speaker D: He gets all his eyes get all big teary eyed. Speaker A: Now Junior. Speaker B: He's not leaving. He's settling down. Speaker C: Okay. Speaker B: We'll come back and visit you. Speaker C: Promise. Jack has a cigarette in here. This will calm you down. Tastes nasty. Speaker D: Drink some of beer. Speaker A: I got the bad then. Speaker C: Eg Kind of like, well what's next? Speaker D: We gotta win the Pale Riders. Speaker B: So at this point have we finished making the ring? Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker A: This is like. Yeah. Speaker E: You have your. Speaker B: Okay. So made it. Speaker A: Yeah. It's yeah everything A month. Yeah. A month has. Has passed and then some days. So yeah. So yeah. All your. All the downtime. Yeah. Speaker B: Stuff is. Speaker A: You're squared away. I guess. Speaker D: Have you heard of the Pale Riders, Edgar? Speaker C: I know of them. I think everyone knows about. I didn't know about them. Must live under a rock. May not know about them. Speaker D: Well, I just came out of a cave a couple weeks ago or days ago. Speaker C: Yeah, that seems apparent. Speaker D: I like the caves. This is better though. More beer. He's not dumb. He's just really nude at me. Speaker C: Just Like. Speaker B: I'm just wondering if he's going to take on the abilities of the stuff he eats. Speaker E: Yeah, I don't know. Speaker A: So yeah, I was gonna say as you guys are talking with each other kind of feeling each other out the following day. You guys, he is a messenger from Spotted. Speaker E: What is this place called? Speaker A: From the Spotted. Spotted. Spotted Spiderwoods logging camp. Speaker B: Jimmy, you like their jelly? It's really tasty. O jelly. Speaker A: Sounds good. Arrives and he like burst into the tavern and starts asking around for. For Ramses. Speaker E: He goes Creepy told me Ramses lives. Speaker A: Down here and we need help. Yeah. Is it Creepy King is a friend of Ramsay's. Speaker E: Say Ramsey's is on errand. But how can I help? Speaker A: It's like I saw our loggers have been going missing. We can't find and we can't find them. I mean only been finding like. Like bits and pieces. Sometimes. Speaker B: The loggers are just right here. Speaker A: It's usually just a lot like pieces of the lager and we can't get anyone from the fort to come help us. Creepy said Ramses would help him out and he's like. He's like stressed and you can tell like he's been like riding like almost non stop. How far away is this? Speaker E: But. Speaker B: It was north from Nightmore. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker E: Brewing at Noah. Do we have anything else that we have put on? Speaker D: Can we help them? Speaker C: Well I think that's where we gotta go. Speaker E: You gotta cut your teeth. Might as well do it on this. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker E: I look at go. I mean that mostly about Trigger. That's pretty sure. Junior, you've been alive for about a week. Speaker D: Yeah, you could swear he's like grown even a little bit in the few days you've known him. Like he's not quite finished growing. Okay, let's go help this nice guy. Speaker C: When did this start happening? Speaker A: It's been about a week. At first we just thought it was, you know, just. I mean it happens occasionally. Wildlife gets one of the loggers or whatever. But usually there's a body or traces. This is different. And there's like a foul mist that's been creeping around. Something weird's going on. Spider seem jittery which is unusual. Speaker E: Oh it's better. Speaker B: Go see what's going on. Speaker A: Yeah, I'm down. Oh boy. Speaker E: We happen to have some downtime. Randy's a good friend of ours so. Speaker A: Took a look like all right, I much appreciate it. Said I ready to leave in the morning. Speaker B: Grab something to eat now. Rest while you can. Can you glamour your horse? Speaker A: No. Speaker E: Because it's Imbued, but it's like it's an undead creation of Ollie. Yeah. Speaker B: No, I was just curious. I thought about scaring the crap out of him with the pack, but that didn't seem like a good idea either. Got the horses, but then there was a realization that your versus special, and that might scare the crap out of him too. Speaker A: I think Jock also would have handed you his horse ring. Speaker C: Okay. Speaker A: I don't know if. Would Jock have done that or. No, I guess that's more of your call. Yeah. If he would have handed that to him or if you just. Speaker C: This Jock was gonna need his horse. Speaker A: Yeah, that's true. Well, you'd have your horse, but. Speaker E: Yeah, I'm not jockey. I wouldn't hand that over. Speaker A: Makes sense. Okay. Yeah. So you guys have roughly, like, 90 miles straight, or you take the road. Speaker D: We got to get there as fast as possible. Speaker B: Look, there's more spider. Well, there was a thought of splitting party and having two during an advanced group. Take the hounds, then have the others catch up. Speaker E: You're just worried about them seeing the hands. Speaker B: Well, there. There's part of that. And there's also if we split the group, making sure that, like, Junior would be able to find where we're going. Speaker A: I've never been there before. Speaker B: Exactly. Speaker E: The thing is that that's a Lose, lose. I got an undead horse, so I'm riding the. Well, killer beast or an undead horse. Speaker B: So if we went ahead, they wouldn't see us on the killer bee. Listen. But then they wouldn't know where we're going. Speaker A: Right. Speaker E: So if we split. But you and I know where we're going and they don't. So if we split, one of us is riding the killer beast and I'm running. Speaker B: So you want to run ahead. Junior would probably be good with the killer beast. Speaker E: Junior doesn't care. Yeah, Junior would be like, this is normal. He just came out of the pit. You're like, oh, this is what people write. Speaker B: So if you wanted to run ahead with Junior, because the hounds would get there way quicker. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: Then I'd follow it, and I'd probably turn and look a bit Edgar, and say, can I call you Eddie? No, got Eddie. Speaker C: Yeah, whatever you want to do. Speaker B: He and I will follow on regular horses. Speaker E: People says, we're getting ready. I'm gonna be like, you're going. So how much of your dad's memories do you have? Do you remember anything past when you came to be born much? Speaker D: All I remember is up to the point where you cleared out the mind and then after that I was incubating in the egg. Speaker E: Egg. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker E: All right, interesting. Speaker C: Grow people with eggs here. Speaker E: I'll have more questions about that later. Speaker B: You'll have two days to talk. Speaker A: So if. Speaker B: If you're good with that, then I would send out a message for. Speaker E: Yeah, a pair of hounds and teaching me out to the edge of town, waiting for the beast to show up. And I warn you, like speakers are going to show up. Speaker B: They're our friends. Speaker A: Oh, good. Speaker E: So no axing more friends. Not all of them are our friends. But these are. Speaker A: Okay. Speaker E: You'll know the ones that aren't because they'll try to eat you. Speaker A: I won't let them. Speaker E: That's probably good. Speaker B: And then anything else that you needed to pick up? You just got into town. Is there anything that you need to restock? Speaker C: No, we ferryman provides. Speaker B: There's a nervous laughter. Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker A: And I'd say probably Audrey, you sense energy around him. That's a little different energy around here. Speaker B: Where I get this energy of light coming off Doc, there's this like dark, shadowy maybe that I can't quite place. Speaker D: It's different. Speaker C: It's just different. But Haggar would be friendly and stuff too. Like he was happy most of the time. Speaker A: Yeah. I wouldn't say it's ominous or anything, but it's not. It's different. Speaker B: And we'd have a chance to talk magic or whatnot as. As we're brighten up. Speaker A: Yeah. So I guess Dot and Junior, I. Speaker C: Guess before people would leave, I'd give them some rally talk. Like let's go do this, everyone. He did rally dice. Speaker A: Nice. Speaker C: Which is a D6 and we can add it to anyone Nice. Till the end of the session. Speaker A: And then. Speaker C: All right. Can be damaged too. Speaker A: So. Speaker C: Gotta use that barn skill every session. Speaker A: Oh yeah. Speaker D: Junior's just captivated by what you're saying. Speaker C: Probably that's such a basic speech with Junior. Like we're the good guys and we're gonna go beat the bad guys. Speaker E: Super inspired. Speaker A: All right, so I guess for Doc and Junior, are you guys straight lining it or are you taking the road? What are you. Speaker E: Are you guys gonna take the road? Speaker C: Are you gonna do I take the road? Speaker A: You guys on horse will take the road because going over land on horse. Horses is a good way to get attacked by wild beasts since people are being disappeared. Speaker E: Like what would be the time difference roughly? Speaker A: Let's see. Because towns can cover 40 miles, they will be there in two and a half days because they can just run non stop versus them Versus you guys. Let's see. Roughly like town. Just. Speaker E: I'll take towns and run through the woods. Speaker A: Yeah. Horror towns are known in the area, but they're kind of still like. They're not way less mythical now because of. Because you guys have been rolling around. But I don't. I didn't say you would. Like anyone in this area would know, like would have heard of that. Speaker C: So you guys kept talking about talents. You'd be like, what are these? Sound like you guys have talents or what are they? Speaker E: Because if we mainline it, we get there sooner. But you guys will be like super far behind if we have to kill anything. Let's just. Let's just mainline it through the woods and hope nobody sees us. Speaker C: Okay. Speaker E: And break in the new guys. Is there a ridden talent? Speaker B: How big is your writing skill? Speaker D: I don't know. Speaker A: What? Speaker C: Pretty good since he's a noble boots for it. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: Maybe some of his education is only. Speaker E: Worthy of a new song. Speaker C: You know these talent you guys keep talking about, you guys actually have him? Speaker E: What a funny story. They tried to eat us first, and then he made friends. Speaker D: Oh, I like that storm. Speaker B: So do I. I almost died making friends. But it was worth it. Speaker E: We all would have died if he hadn't. Speaker B: I don't know. You could have outrun him. Speaker E: We did kind of leave you behind. Speaker A: We tried to find him. Speaker B: Let's see. In this world time that was. How many months ago was that? Speaker A: It was like over two years ago. Probably close to. Probably closing on two years. Speaker B: And that was between. That was the spotty spotted spider lumber camp. And yes. Speaker E: The cabin in the woods with eggs. Speaker A: Yeah, that was up on that. Speaker E: Eggs. I forgot about the eggs. Speaker B: That's true. Speaker A: I forgot that's where you guys went though. By the river, I think. Speaker E: Like our first adventure near the beginning. All right, let's ride. Speaker A: Yep. Speaker B: Just be calm. Speaker D: Oh, this one's soft. He like puts his face in. Speaker B: It's like putting your face in a chameleon. Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker B: I'm wondering what the reaction is to poor talon that Junior is rubbing his face back and forth on. It's so soft. Speaker D: It's so soft. Speaker A: Oh. Why did it show the hole? Speaker C: It showed it for a second. Speaker D: It had the right one. Yeah, for a second. Speaker A: I don't know why. It showed the whole journal. Speaker E: That's weird. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: How do you write this? Speaker D: It's like almost the right size for him, basically. Speaker C: Watch how you guys like mouth. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: You're like, okay. Speaker A: Yeah. So what. What are your guys reactions to being seeing these seven Foot tall like murder machines. Speaker C: Hey, like you guys train these or they talk to you, huh? Speaker B: I wouldn't say we've trained them. They're nice enough to give us a lift. Speaker D: They're good guys too. Speaker B: Depending on the personality of her talent for the pack, I would suggest you get a great big tongue kiss. Just right across the face inside the lips. Speaker A: Yeah, I said it'd probably feel like a cat tone. You're just like great. Speaker D: It tickles. Speaker A: You would probably hear that talon just kind of go like. Like this weird like chuffing like sounds like laughing. And then Leo would be like Dusta who this whole. Speaker B: After he finally calms down, Audrey kind of stops laughing enough to say new party members. Cash has become busy doing other things and Jacques has retired. So the big guy, the one who just got kissed is Cash's tries to think of the best word. Speaker E: Smell it. Speaker A: Smell. Smells like. And then. Speaker B: And then I say the other Edgar is filling Jacques role. But we are not quite sure what that role is. Speaker A: You would see something that like hasn't happened before. Le Pooh actually looks at Edgar and like almost you see like an imperceptible nod. And I'd say also then look. And then you would hear just hello. Because you have that skill that you can talk to feel. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: It's a spell. Speaker C: He was saying hello in his head. Oh, you guys can talk this way. Speaker A: The Pooh would like turn back to you. Or I'm just like he different. He speaks. Speaker B: That is good. Sometimes I feel sorry with Pu. Can only talk to me. Speaker A: What are you think. Are you thinking that today here just go. Don't worry, Destin. We talk to all titles. My novel. Speaker B: Big Father. Can I talk to all talents too? Speaker A: No. Speaker B: Understood. Let me just be kind of crestfallen. Speaker A: Yes. Granted that to you. Speaker B: Well, at least I can talk a little. Speaker A: Maybe when you talk to them. Let's do. Speaker B: That is something that we will need to do. Speaker E: Yes. Speaker A: Which you get is kind of weird because you wouldn't have said anything or hasn't said it. Well, actually you did ask him about it. That's right. Yeah. Speaker B: Because I didn't know where. Speaker A: He did ask him about it. Yeah. Speaker B: And it's something that were. If we had had longer, I probably would have done like a. A dash to. To meet and come back. But this has all happened quick enough, so. Speaker A: No, I think you would. You would like that. And the party would realize that that's. That's quite. It's a journey. It would be something you'd want to. Speaker B: It's not a two day. Speaker A: No. Yeah. So you guys get introduced to the tall and basically you spend like the next. I guess that's up to you guys. Do you guys want to just travel non stop and you'll have. You'll each all mark a stress or do you want to camp halfway? Speaker C: Not that urgent I don't think. Speaker A: And I guess obviously now the other. The other. I guess I shouldn't. I see. Speaker B: So it was two and a half days non stop. So two days and then rest and then go in fresh. Speaker A: Yeah, it's. Yeah it's close to 100 miles. So yeah it's about two and a half days on hard thing through the. Speaker B: So a two day stress test to see who falls off the talent. Speaker A: And. Speaker B: Then take a break and then. Speaker A: Yep. Speaker B: The half day. So we would get there around I guess midday. Speaker A: Yeah, midday is fine. On the seventh of that's the clearest drafts. Yep. Speaker B: That way if we do have to do something right away. Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker A: Yep. So you guys take off. Speaker B: So Junior, did you enjoy your ride? Yeah. Speaker D: That was fun. Speaker A: And if there's like any conversations you would. Yeah. You guys wouldn't have had time for. Yeah. Speaker B: Maybe that night's like. Yeah. Speaker D: Around the campfire. Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So if there's any like conversations you want to have while you guys are camping for the evening within your tents as you listen to the downpour. Just that time of season. Speaker B: This is fun. Speaker E: I hope I've got like a big. Speaker D: Poncho on over my duster. Speaker B: You just stick around the corners. Yeah. Speaker D: I'm wearing the tent. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: I'll say you guys camp by the river. Name of that river starts with like the water. Speaker D: At least there are no buds. Speaker E: Bridge on the river. Speaker C: Wouldn't be any bugs away. Speaker B: This thing was yens. Speaker A: How's that handling the rain? Speaker D: Is it used to getting wet? Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: He has a hat like a gambler's hat or whatever they're called. Speaker A: Fedora. Speaker C: No, it's. Oh that's almost like a cowboy hat. But it's like flat. Speaker A: Oh okay. I think it's public. Gambler10. Speaker C: No P would be whatever. Speaker B: It's been a few years at one time Audrey's hat probably would have shape by now. So wet. Just kind of. Speaker C: You have to buy a new hat like every year. Raining season. Speaker A: I had actual like the actual territory. I made these territory maps. Speaker D: Feel like. Speaker B: Junior's hat is almost like a sombrero. Speaker D: It's just so wide. Not quite but you know what I mean. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker D: Like anime large almost. Speaker B: I'm saying Clint, Woody and the poncho. Speaker A: Yes. Speaker C: Well, Edgar would probably ask like, what's in all your guys's story? Speaker A: Like, what. Speaker C: Where are you from? Audrey and all the normals. Speaker B: Listing flats. Speaker A: You been there? No, I have not. Further. Speaker B: Don't realize I'm further. Westside down, west of. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: Graves Landing. Out towards the coast. On the river, life suddenly changed. And now and then a race to see will my quest be successful or will I be ended. Speaker A: Quest is that. Speaker B: Oh, you click and see. I'll fill you in a little later on that one. Gathering items. And other people are trying to gather the ones I've got. Speaker A: And I don't. Speaker B: I understand the basic rules, but I don't understand all the rules. Speaker C: That sounds fun. Speaker B: It has its moments. Speaker A: Like the scavenger hunt. Speaker B: The minigun was one of those moments. Speaker D: Oh. Speaker C: Like the one out front at Brave Landing. Speaker B: Jocks that went up at every entry point. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: Started building them. Speaker B: Somebody had a minigun. He survived. And Jacques used it as blueprints for the others. Speaker C: Nice. Speaker E: It's certainly handy both behind the gun and building them. Were you asking both of us? Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker E: Doc would tell you it's from Fairhaven, which I think is on the other side of the ocean, isn't it? Speaker A: Yes. Yeah. Speaker E: Traveled around as a doctor for whoever would pay attention. People hunting creatures and got touched by the deer when I was young. And I've not been the same since. When we found out there was darkness coming and now there's a war and now I'm helping the side of light. And that wasn't expected. Speaker A: But. Speaker E: But they captured my sister and we got her back. And we're kind of in the thick of it now. Speaker D: Pa said, war good and evil and war of the good guys. Speaker E: Absolutely correct. Speaker C: It is. Speaker A: I'm from Black Rock Mine. Yeah. Speaker E: You're the. I think maybe the first to be said. Maybe the second. Yeah. Where are you from, Edgar? Speaker C: He's from the south. Speaker B: I don't know where that is. Speaker A: Where we were discussing. Yeah. I think it would be good if Edgar is from the sun. From sunbed. Speaker E: When you say that, Doctor, be like, oh, yeah. I can't really see where the sun explained to you. Like, well, the sun does this and that's this direction. Speaker D: Like he wants to know. Speaker E: Yeah. So Doc would just like teach you like north, south, probably the whole time. That's right. Sun rises in the east, it's in the west, or whatever it is here always. Speaker B: I think it's in north. Speaker A: South. Speaker E: I think it was north, south. Speaker C: It seemed really Weird. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker E: Sometime we'll take you down to the. To the new place we found. We can show you more about the world and everything outside of it. Speaker A: Okay, so you haven't sung about us for now. Speaker B: That sounds great. Speaker E: Doc wouldn't weird out. Just answer every question. Yeah, because he's a doctor. Speaker A: How it works now. Speaker C: He'd go in and be like off of some mountain and. Speaker A: Meadows. Speaker C: Meadows. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker E: My parents. Speaker C: My dad was a lawyer, third generation. Speaker A: And my mom taught me how to play music. You were a lawyer? Speaker C: No, I don't. Musician. Speaker B: But he can sing about the law. Speaker E: If you ask. Speaker C: I know a lot for that. Speaker E: That's. Speaker A: Oh. Speaker C: My father didn't appreciate me being a musician. I knew you're a believer. Speaker B: My father was a prospect. Speaker D: You're like, we know. Speaker C: Yeah. Got him back. Speaker D: How did you know Jacques? Speaker C: Nobody met us. Brought us together. Speaker A: Your mom? Speaker C: No. Speaker A: Would you use their name or would you just use. Or their title? Speaker C: Because I don't. Speaker A: I don't remember. Because if you don't know it, I can just tell you. Speaker C: I don't remember her name. Speaker A: No, I mean would you use her name or her title? Probably her title. Yeah. So Herald of Death. Speaker C: Herald of Death. Speaker D: So from. Speaker A: Oh. Speaker E: From a writer's perspective, is she considered of the darkness or she just. Speaker B: Considered. Speaker A: How we know. They may not know of her because. May not know the herald very people because they're the ones that died. But I don't know if any living ones would know. That'd be. That would probably be something. Yeah. I don't. Speaker E: I mean we could feel like old pale writers are like darkness is what's fighting against the light. Death is not necessarily fighting against the light. No, death is death. It's death natural. Speaker A: Yeah. All right. Speaker D: The heralds of death. I've never met death before. Speaker B: You're too young. No, give it a season or two. Speaker E: Don't rush it. Speaker C: She's friendly. Not bad. Speaker D: That sounds nice. Sounds like she's one of the good guys too. Speaker A: Yeah, I guess that would be kind of like a table question. How much would people know of like. Speaker E: Of the fairy men probably shrouded in like wives tales. Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. Superstition. Kind of one of those things. Speaker E: There's true. But you can't tell unless you're in. Speaker D: It, you know, similar to Carousel or something. Speaker C: You know, I don't know what you. Speaker E: Would think on this because your characters. Speaker A: Carousel is like doesn't. Like actually like doesn't exist. Doesn't exist here. Speaker C: That's true. Disappearing. We don't. I don't know or we don't know. Speaker A: Like you're. You're. You're probably. Cash is probably. Technically the only crazy man. Is the only. Would be the only person on this planet. On the planet that would probably know. Besides. I mean this part like. Besides the veil writers. Speaker E: Like he doesn't. Speaker A: He's not like a deity or anything that like people. People. It's more like it's just a force of hatred. Yes. It's part of the three. Speaker B: So other than the chosen, anybody who meets with the Herald or the ferryman is taken to wherever they're going. Speaker A: They're. Speaker B: They don't survive pretty much. So it'll almost fall. Urban legend, superstitions. Yeah. Speaker A: Yep. It would be like a super rare person that either got rejected or turned away or you might find or sent on. Or sent on a mission. Speaker B: Yeah. Wow. Speaker A: By the Herald. So. Yeah, it would be super. Speaker B: I could see there being certain villages that have like a Day of the Dead type. Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah, definitely. Like in the tribal areas, but like in the. And I guess the civilized or railroad connected territories. That. That's kind of like something that she's like. Yeah. Your hokey religion or whatever. You know, that thing. They don't exist. Yeah. So probably hit like probably Edgar speaking. That name be like. Oh. Oh, probably that's real. Speaker D: How did you meet this Herald of Death? Speaker E: Another Herald? Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker E: That's the character name. Speaker A: No. Speaker E: What's your name? Speaker A: Carol. Speaker E: What's your last name? Odeth. Speaker D: Harold O. Speaker A: Death. Speaker D: It's me, Harold. Odette. Speaker A: Sorry. Interrupted. Speaker C: Now he thinks I met her when I died like 30 years ago. Speaker A: 30? Speaker D: You're an old man. Speaker E: Coming from June. Speaker A: Two weeks old. Speaker E: Exactly. Speaker C: Now that's about average. That's not old in this room. Speaker D: How did you die? Speaker C: Riding in a stagecoach on my way home. I got robbed. Speaker A: Somebody killed you? Speaker B: I won't let anybody kill you. Speaker C: That's good. Speaker A: Not again. If you're 30. Speaker D: How old are you, Doug? Speaker E: How long has it been since we started? Speaker A: About a year and a half, I think. Probably post it too. Yeah. Speaker E: So you would have just by like 31. Speaker D: You're old too. Speaker E: How old are you? Audrey was not born yesterday. Speaker B: Audrey has this like stubbly beard growing in. He kind of strokes it. It's like thinks about it. Think I'm about 19, maybe 20. Oh. Speaker A: What? Speaker D: You're so old too. Speaker B: That's why I don't remember it. I'm too old to remember my age. Speaker C: That's true. Speaker D: You did age. Speaker A: That's right. Speaker E: That whole year. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker E: My original thing said late 20s so I'm either 29 to 31. Speaker B: Some of that range. But that's okay. As you get older you get better stories to tell. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker B: I don't have any stories. We're going to remedy that. Yeah. Speaker E: We're about to go. Speaker A: Be quiet. Speaker E: You just seem like you're writing that. Speaker A: All right. Speaker E: You're right. You're writing a talent. You're making a story right now. It's not something many people do in this. Speaker C: In this world how you tell stories or make stories. Speaker D: Been writing of town since I was born. Speaker C: Almost 10 minutes. Speaker B: I have a feeling your dad made extra big packs for you to carry full of food. Speaker E: Hopefully it's just not on a tree like I tons of it. Speaker A: All right. Speaker D: Keep going I guess. Speaker E: Yeah yeah. Speaker A: Knife passes without any problems. Your wonderful bodyguards. Oh yeah. And then you guys arrive at the spotted woods lying camp. Speaker E: About this day we would dismount before. Speaker B: We get to the front gate. Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker A: Right. Speaker C: And. Speaker A: Jump the fence. Speaker E: They could ask you like to tell the talents what's happened too. So they can be on the lookout if something's tearing things apart. See if they can find trail or something. Speaker B: And beware of the mist. Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker B: So unless I'm riding Lepo I don't know if he came along on this trip. Speaker A: Sure. Speaker B: I would be relating that to laud. Speaker A: I say probably like unless you specifically send him on a mission like he. Him and his like core are there package is always with you. Speaker C: Okay. Speaker A: Because that was his. That's his job or his sacred mission as he would see it. Take care of death. Yeah. He'd be like. He'd just go guess this. Yeah. Speaker B: So while we're still out of sight from the walls it'd be. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: All that information and then. Speaker A: Yeah. You'd only have to be like half a mile telling a TPS crappy trail to get. Speaker B: Man walk in and first stop would either be the church or the saloon depending on how hungry you are. If I remember right wasn't paper a priest. Speaker A: There was no creeper creepy king is that he owns the sawmill. But there is. Speaker C: They want to help. Speaker E: Out Pre making He was a friend. Speaker A: He's a. He has a. He's a retired. That's terrible name. Yeah. Speaker C: He's a really nice guy. Speaker A: Yeah. There's. Yeah. Because six is the church of Lou. And then there's Kitty's Cantina. And then in the middle is number two. Over here is the Kitty's Cantina. Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker B: Well I remember eating at the cantina and dealing with the hangovers. We Slept at the church that night when we were there. Speaker A: Oh, I remember also. Speaker C: Hang on. I don't know. Speaker B: Z. Ever been here before? Speaker A: Probably not. Me, I don't. Speaker C: Probably go to the canteen. Speaker A: All right. Speaker C: Chopper's really good at it. Speaker E: Yes, you would. Speaker D: I think I could chip you. This is Paul Bunyan in the making. Speaker E: Yeah, just one shot in trees out. Speaker A: So yeah, as you got. You guys would. As you walk into Kitty's cantina, obey. Speaker B: Screams every time you go down. Speaker A: It is the largest non logging related building in the place. And it's not super busy right now because it's like midday. There's local people I guess getting some food stuff. So yeah, the probably the biggest thing is like all the servers and everybody are attractive people and like move like dancers. So they're kind of like just like dancing and like twirling around the table like between the tables and stuff. Oh then Kitty is manning the. The bar. Speaker C: You guys. Speaker A: Yeah, you guys just passed through here. Speaker B: Last time it was late at night. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: And everybody gave us a table here. Ramsey's didn't want to get rams. Speaker A: And. Speaker B: Then we went further north for rattle to catch a train. Speaker E: Right at that. Speaker A: Yeah. So kitty, Jesus, five foot, is 35, athletic, sky blue eyes with long bowing, blue black hair, hesitation, patient accent. He's just. Speaker E: How strangers. Speaker A: Which can I get you? And then after she says strangers, she's like starts kind of like looking between you two. You guys been here before? Speaker E: So it's been a while. Good memory. Speaker A: It's like. Well, we don't get too many visitors stare at the same basis. So a repeat is a say. Speaker E: Well, it's good to be here. But unfortunately we're under less than ideal circumstances. We heard from there were some strange things going on here. Speaker A: Yes. So. Oh, that's wonderful you guys. Speaker E: We're friends of Ramsay's. Speaker A: Yes, I remember. I remember now tell us where creepy. Speaker E: Is or tell us what's going on. Speaker B: And we'll see what we can do. Speaker A: Creepy's probably over, man. Making sure the sawmill's running logging or disappearing. And there's been icky red mist deep in the woods. Well, she said inky icky. Speaker E: According to the myth. Speaker A: According to some of the people that have seen it when they've been out looking, haven't found. It's like in every of the reports, the gossip I've heard is nobody. They're not animals, they're not natural. Nature kills. And the. The spiders have been. Speaker E: Jittery and kind. Speaker A: Of unedgy, which is unusual for them. He's like. No, the spiders are good. If you said that out loud. Yeah, spiders are good. Speaker C: Here. Speaker A: They make jam for us and others. Speaker B: Can I try some fronics? Speaker A: Sure thing. If you got some coin. Speaker C: Yeah, we do start with a handful. Speaker D: I have a handful. Is this enough? Speaker A: Yes, sir. Speaker B: That'll buy some. Speaker C: A couple of jars. No more credit. Speaker A: Yep. Yeah. For a handful. Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker A: We'll get you a beer and some jelly. Speaker E: If you like a meal to go with here. Speaker A: The rest would order. Speaker D: Oh, I needed to go. Speaker B: You might want some bread for the jelly. Speaker C: No. Usually you put bread. I mean jelly on bread. Speaker B: Unless you're going to get yourself. Speaker D: Okay. Speaker B: Something else to. Speaker A: Be. Speaker B: Long rest on the way over here. Speaker A: Yeah. You guys should be full health. Speaker E: Should we like prep to get hope and stuff? Speaker A: Oh, yeah. Yeah. You guys could do the long term. Yeah. Speaker E: Just in case we're about to face something. Speaker A: It would be nice. I don't know. Speaker E: But we tend to find trouble. Speaker A: Yeah. Yes. Long rest each player. Speaker C: You would have cleared all stress. Speaker E: Yep. Speaker A: Yeah. You guys would have cleared your if wallet. Yeah. You clear all if you pick the move. I guess otherwise you'd have one strap. Speaker B: I said two of the moons. Speaker A: Yes. Speaker D: So we clear all stress and then we have something. Speaker E: And you get fear. Yeah. Speaker D: So I guess I would prepare to. Speaker B: Hope if we're all near that Tao. Speaker E: I'm preparing. Speaker B: Not much else to do unless you. Speaker A: Have a long time. Yeah. Speaker B: 4. Speaker D: Hope he's got a bunch of fear. Speaker A: Yep. I do have a bunch of fear because I also rolled a three on landing four. Speaker E: And you can only do this back. Speaker B: To which one you want. Speaker D: Wait, so is the right side all your. Speaker A: Yeah, you're like maxing out on fear almost. That should be exciting. Speaker D: This is going to be explosive. Speaker B: Oh, you double prepared. Speaker E: Can you prepare more than once? Speaker A: You can only do one. Speaker C: You can only do one. You can't. Speaker B: Well, the says. Speaker E: It says or the same move twice, actually. Speaker D: Should I erase my handful of gold? Speaker A: So you guys. So if you're preparing, it would be. You'd have to like. So I don't know if you'd be able to pick it twice and get four. Hopefully if you're doing it as a party. Speaker B: The elf could try. Speaker A: But I'm fine with this one. Could it be like different? Like how would you be preparing differently? Speaker E: That's what doesn't make sense to get the. Speaker A: To like do the hope again. Like it would be. It would be more of like if doc prepared with Audrey and then. Yeah. Prepared with Junior then he. Speaker E: You would get Four I guess if. Speaker A: Somebody wants to is how you have to like prepare again. Speaker E: I can actually like use my my reassurance before you ask me like or something like that or meditating like that. Speaker C: Might want to June. You might need reassurance. Speaker A: I like if two people like two people could. Yeah so yeah I don't think there's enough of you to get Some of you could get 4 hope but I don't think all of you would get 4 hope because you can only because if you prepare with someone else they're can prepare for their move also. So if someone really wants so yeah. Speaker B: I'm only getting two. Speaker A: Yep. But you have three you can spend. Speaker E: Because you're an elf. Speaker B: Well with the elf you get to do one more downtime. So you clear stress and compare twice. Basically during a rest you can drop into a trance to choose an additional downtime move. So if it's two for longer three so clearly stress prepare. So I'd probably prepare with two people and then if I'm preparing by myself for just one more hope. So it'd be three hope. Speaker E: So how much Unless I'm gonna. Speaker A: If you want I think it'd be. Speaker B: Good just to figure out. Speaker A: Can we keep figging hope. Yeah as long as like so like if. If so you guys are preparing together. So that's each of one of your downtime knows each because you're both preparing with each other. So you would both mark 2. Oh and then if then if you picked a prepare with someone else then you too would be one of your down. Like you guys are preparing your downtime moves to prepare with the to get the double vote is what's happening. So like if you all as a party prepared together then you would all. You'd each that would all of your would spend one of your downtime foods and you would get to vote as a party. Or you could make it more complicated like. Yeah. Because individuals and get more hope that way yourself for yourself. Yeah. Speaker E: So the most you really can get is 3. Unless you were crossing up like you said. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker E: So I would meditate with somebody. I'd go practice riding my undead horse. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: Can't imagine I feel totally different. Speaker A: Like. Speaker E: Driving a Tesla or driving my the Jeep. Yeah yeah yeah. Speaker A: So we'll just end session here since it is right almost at 9 o'. Speaker B: Clock. Speaker A: Let's see one more RP. Speaker B: No more questions. Speaker A: No, we'll still do those because I'm trying to. I'm thinking of something that like it would be something you guys just something you'd have to like plus or minus one of your dice by like a point and you would just have whatever yeses you had for the previous session. No clr. Speaker C: No more credit rating. That's the only down anymore. Speaker A: Yeah. Oh you guys like would be like. Speaker E: Well the town is. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker C: I'll take a chest of gold. Speaker A: Yeah you guys could be carrying a chest of gold if you want. I don't think that's would be fine like just on the horses. Speaker B: The horse comes out of the stable loaded with gold. Went back into the stable angry. Speaker C: Doesn't know about the big pile of golden. Speaker D: I spent all my money. I don't have any more left. Speaker E: So is it that many handfuls equals a bag? Yeah, I think so. Speaker A: I think so. I'd have to go and read it. Speaker B: It's gotta be. Speaker D: It's the only way it makes sense. Speaker A: Let's do a bag because I like I skimmed over that because it wasn't relevant before but it could. It is a little bit now. Let's see. Yeah. So did we learn something new important about the world? Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker C: Your character. Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker A: My lady. Yeah. Speaker E: And egg actually. Speaker D: Well I already knew that you guys. Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker A: And then let's see. Yeah. No enemy is bonded. We loot memorable treasure. Speaker B: No, we made Mitchell memorable treasure in the downtime. Speaker A: Yeah. You're a ring true. Well know if we've solved any problems without violence. Speaker C: Not really. Speaker E: I guess. Speaker B: Yeah we weren't attacked in the night. Speaker A: Due to our. Speaker D: The threat of violence. Speaker A: Yeah. We didn't roll though so there's you know violence see I guess well we have new characters but I guess there's any new long term stuff. New long term goals. Speaker C: Figure out what's going on here. Speaker A: Yeah yeah. Speaker E: Then eventually hear from what the heck's going on with that. Speaker A: Yep. Speaker B: Might be either it's a town of north. Speaker A: That's true because you can go to a rail line and resend a telegram. Let's do run along the rail lines. Speaker E: Where we're generally headed. Speaker A: Oh no. Speaker E: We're helping her friend. Speaker A: Yeah. Plans for next session I guess is this. Speaker E: Yep. Speaker A: And then I guess once this is sorted what are you guys plan to move on for that. Speaker C: Are we going. Speaker B: Down the going way south. Depending on the state of the pillaritis. Yeah. Then Audrey's next thing would be in luck. Speaker A: Yeah. I'd say timing wise this would probably be a good time to travel. Unless you need to go talk to Ramses because she's will be gone. It's still gone for like another month. Speaker E: She's gonna run around secretly talk to people. Speaker A: Unless you wanted to go up to the fortress to go visit people. That would be up to you guys. Speaker B: Noah's already moved down to brave's landing, right? Speaker A: Yes. Speaker D: Girl. Speaker A: Fine. Now. Speaker C: Jock's either at the mine or doing something else. Jacques would have gave me the map. Speaker A: Little the magic map. Speaker B: And occasionally there'd be very check because mine is still stuck in the down the tunnel. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker A: Yeah. So spotted spider then probably Are you. So we're thinking. Speaker B: Yeah just see the witch. She's not my wife. Speaker A: And I guess after that I. I will say it too. After this adventure, you guys will hit level two. So be looking at your level two stuff because this. This will probably should wrap up next time we play. Speaker C: Then. Speaker A: Yeah. So I guess we have spider the nook. And then after the nook I guess Ramsay's will probably be back. It'll be New Year's again for the in world. Speaker B: You might want to spend it with cash as family. Speaker D: New year party. Speaker A: A hundred more now. I really don't know. Speaker C: Don't spend all there's a thing. Speaker E: I'm just curious what happens when catches copies start making copies because you know that only goes out. Speaker C: Data corruption. Speaker E: Yeah. Copy the copy as sharp as the original. Have you guys seen multiple sneak. Speaker A: Yeah. It's been a long time. Yeah. Did I watch it one time. Speaker E: Retcon thing. Sort of Retcon. When I did the whole like blessed Ramsay thing. I think at the end of that when she finished the I would take her emblem and like that would be like the final step of the blessing. And it like would change it. It'd still be the symbol but like almost like a mark where you can like almost like authenticate someone by their symbol that they've been touched. Speaker A: Yep. Speaker B: Kind of like the guns. Speaker A: What's that? Speaker B: Kind of like the guns? Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker E: Like she's going around talking to people like right now. It's not like you guys were like converting people to this. Cause you have a way to be like, okay, you're re engaged and we know who's fake and who's real. Speaker B: Would it lose its color or however if somebody were to steal it? Speaker E: I don't think that would work. Speaker B: So it's bound to the person. Speaker E: Yeah, I would guess so. Speaker B: Looking for an it background. Can it be spoofed? Speaker E: Yeah, right. Speaker A: That's right. Speaker E: It's rfid. Yeah. Speaker A: Okay. Speaker E: Somebody else's medallion. That's pretty lame. Speaker A: And then next week, Wes, you're gone, right? Speaker B: Yes. Speaker A: Yeah. So next week we'll finish the other Dagger Heart, the War Dogs. We'll finish that. Speaker C: Cool. Speaker B: Is there a lot left to that one? Speaker A: No, it's just a single session mostly. It's going to be a boss fight. Testing out some stuff. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker A: Down the line in the campaign. Speaker E: That's right. Speaker A: Well, fine. It could be we're about to head. Speaker D: South, so we could avenge your old characters. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker D: Or we could die too. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: And then I guess. I know, like, holidays are kind of coming out. Traveling anyway. Either. Speaker B: Let's see. Speaker A: Okay. Are you. Are you gonna be around? Thanks for Thanksgiving, I think. Speaker D: Well, so I'll go down to the Bay Area, get back down safe for the day of. Then I'll be back the Friday. And then I'm working this Saturday, I. Speaker E: Think, But I'll be done. Speaker D: I should be done by game time. Speaker A: Already been here. Speaker E: I'll work in post falls. Okay. Speaker A: So I guess 15 and 22 and 29, I guess, is probably fine for everyone then. Speaker B: Yeah, that's why. Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. Speaker B: And then Christmas. Speaker C: I'm not doing anything. Speaker E: You ever traveled less for holidays now that Katrina's folks are just traveling around all the time? Speaker A: Nice. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker D: So the first year, I haven't traveled in a long. Speaker A: Yeah. If I take the last of the first weeks of the year off. So I'm looking forward to that too. Speaker E: Nice. Speaker B: Yeah, I got like four days. Speaker A: I still need to use those by. Speaker E: The end of the year. Speaker A: And then I guess probably. Yeah. If everyone's around in December, then I just keep up, keep going. Unless we want decide we need to take a break because we got. Christmas is the 25th, which is a Thursday, so Saturday is on the 27th, so. And then New Year's is also that Thursday. Yeah. The Coronas. Speaker B: On the weak side. Speaker A: Yes. Speaker C: At least around here people go ham with the fireworks. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker E: It's like a two and a half. Just fireworks. Speaker A: Oh, yeah. New Year's or not New Year's, but freaking fourth of July is. Speaker D: Yeah, I remember that one. Speaker A: The Fourth of July month. Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker D: They're testing them the whole month and. Speaker E: People like a month and a half later will find like, oh, I guess we had a couple left and they'll just set them off at, you know. Speaker A: 11Pm we had like two go off last night, I think. Yes. While we were watching a movie. Speaker E: That one house on the corner where they have, like, the families get together and do it. One of those families buys mortars every year. Speaker A: They'll suck. Speaker E: And they find mortars later on and, like, set them off. Speaker A: Yeah. Terrible. Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker A: So I guess the Plan will be just to keep playing. I just plan on sessions for the rest of the year. I can do it. Speaker E: You can run around the woods tonight. Speaker A: No. Speaker E: No pressure. Just ping me if you want. Speaker A: Yep, we will. Speaker B: Full moon or something. Werewolf stuff. Speaker E: No, no. We were playing that Valheim a little bit. Speaker B: Oh, nice one for tag team. Speaker A: Oh yeah, that's true. Yeah, you guys should have. Oh yeah. You're going to have a coin for your tag team one session. Yeah, yeah, about that. Speaker C: Team is strong. Speaker E: Put my dice on my sheet to remember. Like don't forget these things. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: I have to rally again next session. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker E: That's my reminder to ask for a rally. Speaker B: Next week. Back to two carrot jersey. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker E: Yeah. Speaker A: That session will probably be short because we'll pick up with like you guys are essentially got away and then it's like a day later and then you find something. Actually something finds you. Speaker B: Sweet. I'm glad you clarified that because it's going to be a short session. You're all gonna die. Speaker E: I mean it's gonna happen. Speaker A: If their tier stuff is correct, you guys should win. But dice be dice. So I don't know. It will be interesting and I hope. And then I'll definitely want feedback on it because if it does work out well, you'll be seeing it or in the world. And Jock will find it super interesting if he ever hears a word. Speaker B: We'll be seeing people over there. I just like that adventure where we ran into a green dragon and we weren't quite ready for it. Speaker C: That was just a worm. Speaker A: Like. Yeah. That wasn't even a great. Speaker C: We got dumpsters. Speaker A: No, that's. No, you got it. You guys should be able to fight and win. Speaker B: No, I mean teaching us. It's. Sometimes you need to run. Speaker A: Yeah. It may. It may turn to Japan. What happens with the dice and stuff? Yeah. I don't know. Speaker C: Okay. Speaker A: Okay. Speaker C: Pathfinder. Speaker A: It's like I hated it.
