====== Session 6.2024.10.19 ====== {{ :savacola:campaign_one:session.6.2024.10.19.mp3 | Recording}} ===== AI Transcribed Audio ===== Speaker A: Audio and recording over Bluetooth and now it does this records fine. What does that. Speaker B: Is it like a buff ring? Speaker A: It's something to do with over remote. So actually I'm going to try one other thing. No, it's so thinking janky. Speaker B: No, it's not buffering because it's almost like it's just skipping out. Speaker A: Yeah. It's like these two Bluetooths are like fighting each other for some reason. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: I'm gonna try this local. So. Speaker B: I went ahead and I picked up the Appalachian. To pull information out of the old. Speaker A: Appalachian guns or whatever. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker B: See if I can hook that in. And also I had the core book for Vessen and that one should work pretty well. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: I don't know what is the vessel? Speaker B: The vessel is set more in Europe and from what I've read on it, it's somebody who was part of a society is trying to rebuild it. So mystery cases. You go out and try and figure out what crypto beast of failure whatever is doing stuff. And they've got enough books out for the various locations and more. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker B: That it should be pretty easy to shoe. Speaker C: Nice. Speaker B: Apple actually has a lot of interesting ideas, but the goal is to put the players in a position where they have to decide how they're going to defend something they want. And I'm not sure how you get this that way. Speaker A: Yep. Yep. Yeah. But I like the idea of people getting in different book st. So it's either good or bad. Yep. So that's kind of cool. Speaker B: You're sitting around the campfire and the person I watch, he sees yellow eyes and just kind of not quite sure what it is. Speaker C: Kind of love crafting, but all set in Appalachia. Like 1600s, 1800s. It kind of spans. Speaker B: Yeah. It starts early 1800s, goes through like the 20s and on through of. And each recording is like a different spot in the. In the range. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: So it's everything from Pennsylvania down to. Speaker C: South Carolina and then sometimes certain characters will show up and you kind of have to remember like, oh, that was that guy from that season. Speaker D: It's like a audio weird version of Yellowstone. Like crossing a bunch of periods. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker C: But they're more like the things that show up or creatures or something. Speaker B: It's more like they made a deal and they just show up again later. They made a bargain and they had a bargain. Speaker D: That's where the Lovecraftian comes. Yeah. Speaker C: Or they know how to talk to something in the woods or old magic. Speaker A: Like. Speaker B: Because it's like this is something weird going on. I Gotta sort this out. It's like pulling the thread then. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: But for other tables where it's like closer to dark souls. It's like, hey, there's a mystery going on. Carpet bombing. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker A: Just come. Speaker D: Only way to be sure. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker D: Or kill everything in town. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: Or do. Speaker D: What's a Z? I'm just going to curse this town. Walk away. Speaker A: Just plug it. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker C: It's like, oh, maybe there's this person might do it. Or maybe this creature changes into different people. Let's just kill the whole town instead of trying to find the creature. Speaker B: Kind of like last week where you saw the vampire. Screw it. Dropped a count. You're all dead. Speaker D: I know he's in the ring somewhere. Scorch the whole thing. Yeah. Sorry about your farm hands. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: Guys. Speaker B: And then you just go back and say, meal, we solved it. It's dead. Speaker D: Or 20 of your hands, but yeah. Speaker B: And all your cattle. Speaker D: 50 of your cattle. We're gonna lose those anyways. We didn't do anything. Speaker B: Exactly. Speaker D: Opportunity cost. Speaker B: Probably in the body. Speaker C: Something. Speaker D: Get out there now. It might be edible. Speaker B: So if you move quick, you might be able to find the blood stains. Speaker D: Steaks for Dave. Speaker B: And I got the books in from that Kickstarter on Never going Home. Speaker C: Nice. Speaker B: I need to go through those. It's card base. It's set. Speaker C: It's World War I. And then because I have the. I was thinking about G a while ago. I have just the digital. Speaker A: Which one? Speaker C: It's called Never Going Home. But it's kind of art style. Like the grizzled. Speaker B: That's what I couldn't remember. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: And then it's set in World War I, but the violence and the death caused a veil to torn. And so you're like part of the squad that you may be fighting in World War I. Then all of a sudden, there's stuff coming out of this veil. Speaker D: Oh, special Squad. Speaker C: Yeah. And then. Speaker D: Is it as hard as the Grizzled? Speaker C: No, combat character creation. Speaker A: We were very grizzled. Speaker D: Did you ever accomplish that? Speaker A: No, we didn't play. We beat it with our parents. Speaker C: We beat it with Steve do once we did with three people. We never done it with four. Yeah, four was way hard. Speaker B: No, I think you were here for that because I think you've been here every time I played it. Speaker A: Okay. Speaker D: But I still remember. Speaker C: Yeah, we did it with three, but it's very rare. Speaker D: It's a hard game. Speaker C: We've never done it before. Speaker A: Nor. Speaker C: And then like never go home. Like I think combat you have the deck of cards. Speaker B: Well everything's kind of based on that deck of cards. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker B: Like you've got to get across this river so you have to have a certain combination of cards or a certain number. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker B: To make it across and if you don't and people die while you re roll characters and you keep going. So it's got that. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker B: And then magic is very. It'll take your sanity if you're not careful. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: I bought that one on sale but that sounds interesting. Nine systems easy to do on drive thru. Speaker D: Oh yeah. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: So much that type of deal feels like it's going to steal your credit card information. Speaker D: I know it looks like something from. Speaker C: Like the late 90s. Speaker A: Even their remake it still feels I know I remember. Speaker D: When they updated and I was like wait did the update happen? It looks different but did the update actually happen? Speaker C: Like people are like oh go to drive through and you go there and. Speaker D: It'S kind of like it's updated for Internet Explorer 8. Speaker B: Yeah. I don't know about it's for the hardcore. It's like this is nostalgic. Speaker D: Thinking of a fun magic thing you guys ever watched. It's actually a book series I need to actually read the it's on my like long list of things I need to read but it's thinking of Cool Magic Dr. Strange and Mr. Morel. It's. It's. I think it's on Amazon but it's. Speaker A: Just the older times of magical English. Speaker D: So it's kind of interesting to take this old English and mix it with like you know what makes a man a gentleman and magic and stuff. Speaker A: But yeah Dr. Speaker B: Strange and Mr. Norrell are that might train well with lesson maybe worth watching. Speaker D: Just from like that kind of time period of like how would it mix it's really cool. Speaker B: I made it like two episodes into Andor two and a half. Oh and I totally in my mind Andor and Alderaan had been like co opted and swapped and it's like this is an elder on yeah took me a couple of sets episodes oh yeah I recognize that guy. Yeah. Pre hope. Speaker D: Yeah yeah yeah. The show definitely slow burns but it gets into it stars card man. There's all the acting that's related it's. Speaker C: Like the imperial compliment. What's that Imperials are actually confident. Speaker A: Yes. Speaker D: Yeah. The world is more dangerous and realistic. Speaker B: Bureaucracy guns already seeing that. Speaker C: Let's wait till you see what happens. Speaker A: To the. Speaker B: But they died and we've got to figure it out and everything goes wrong. It's like maybe I shouldn't have done. Speaker D: My boss is going to kill me. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker D: There's a lot of that. And there's what. What makes you take action and are you the baddies? Speaker A: It's not. Speaker D: It's gray. It's not black. Speaker B: That's that same thing you see with cops in general or any authority. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker D: You can mean well, but maybe it doesn't do well. Speaker B: Yeah. The description of the two cops. Worst guy I've ever met in my life. He got in a fight. He picked it with the wrong person. And the other guy's like, he was a fellow brother. He was a cop. He was a glorious man. Yeah. He's dead, but we should avenge him. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker D: That theme is like, through the whole. Speaker B: Thing. Speaker D: Is best Star wars since Star Wars. I liked it, but not everybody likes the slower spy. Speaker C: The modern times that people can't focus as much. Speaker D: Yes. It's a patient show. Speaker A: Yeah, absolutely. Speaker D: There's so much stuff that's like. It's not patient at all. Speaker A: No. Speaker B: I love how they went to places and it's like they created the. The environment. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: They're getting ready to attack the garrison. It's like there's this one spot and they come here every three years. Yeah. And it used to be this big deal. And they give them the book. It's like, oh, and here's some key phrases that you're going to want to know along with anything else regular. Start with just like, I speak all the languages. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: Everything from droid to. Speaker C: Oh, now like a scene in there where, like, a TIE fighter flies over and they make that one TIE fighter actually scared. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker C: It's not like, oh, it's just a TIE fighter. Speaker D: I hadn't really thought about that. Speaker A: But it's true. Speaker C: It's like this one TIE fighter could just whoop them with it. One. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: Or just report on. Yeah. Speaker A: Yeah. I had that feel of the World War II, like getting buzzed by some fighter overhead. Like, hope you don't get spotted or strafed. Yeah. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker D: It helps set the scale of you being on the ground with the rebels. Speaker B: And that's interesting. Speaker D: I feel like Star wars would be much better to expand like that, where there's a mix of feels like you still can be Star wars, but still like, we're going to explore nitty gritty. But because original Star wars wasn't as gritty. It was more, like, supposed to appeal to more people. Like, it had to appeal to kids and adults. Andor's not for kids. Speaker B: Well, look at their animation. They got away From Skywalkers. I mean, even rebels. It's like they're in a totally different sector, and they just buzzed it occasionally with characters you would know. Other than that, it was an entirely different view. Yeah. And you can still. Speaker D: Yeah, some of that was still solid. Yeah. I watched all the bubbles and all of. What was the other one. Speaker A: There's Clone Wars. Yes. And then there was. There was another one that, like, Resistance, I think. Yeah. Yeah. Speaker C: No one likes it. It was okay. Speaker D: I still don't watch Bad Match. Speaker C: First season was good. Second season got Lost. Felt like they had so many episodes they had to do, and so it's just a lot of filler episodes. Speaker A: I watch season three, kind of like Battlestar Galactica. Speaker B: First two seasons, glorious. After a while, it's like, what are we doing again? Yeah, I'd be fine if they just. Speaker D: Did really solid one seasons and that's it. Give us a good, really, really solid long story and be done with it. Speaker C: That's like the weird thing with streaming. Like, bad batch. Season one is like 10 episodes. And it's like, why not just do, like, 20 episodes and just call it one season? Like, right. Instead of, like, breaking into three seasons. Speaker B: You mean classic seasons, 26 episodes. Yep. Speaker C: The anime thing where it was like two seasons was 26 plus time. The story was done. Speaker B: Usually I'm talking about those. Speaker D: Those brothers who, like, they did Wizards of Waverly Place and the other stuff they got. They live here now. And I was talking with them because they did that. Tales dark and grim. Like kids animated show, which actually is really fun. And they said that they went to Netflix to do a second one, and Netflix was like, they don't want a second one. They're like, we had like 40 million streaming hours out of this show. Like, why do you not want a second one? They're like, yeah, we're not running for a second one. We want you to do another, like, ip. And they're interesting for you. If it's different people animating it and. Speaker B: Stuff, that becomes problematic. Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker B: Then it's like. Speaker D: Like they don't understand the feel the first was created with. So maybe. I don't know if Netflix kind of knows, like, hey, you gotta be really sure about second seasons. You know, is it going to be the same career or something? I don't know. It was really interesting listening to them about the demographics of trying to make a second season of an animated show. I said, it's, like, way cheaper. It's like a tenth the cost because you don't have all those Man. Hours of creating the assets. Speaker B: We'll just look at like Last Airbender. How they kept that level throughout four seasons. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: Three seasons. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker D: There's more seasons than that, is there not. Speaker B: Not for the first one. Because he is the book bearer. Speaker D: They're just a lot of episodes. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker D: That's what I'm thinking. Speaker B: A lot of 30 minute episodes. Speaker D: Or the budget's down. Speaker B: Budget. Speaker C: Yeah. Batman on the Amazon. That was a weird show. Which one? The Batman. The new animated thing. Speaker A: Batman Crusader. Speaker C: It was just weird. Speaker D: That sounded good advertised. Speaker B: It's like a mashup of the original animated. Speaker C: Well, not like Batman, but like a side character. It's weird and he kind of sucks. Speaker D: That's bizarre. Especially since that they have the classic animated series. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker B: Popular. Speaker C: More about like Barbara. Speaker B: They take a lot of characters and gender bending. Penguin was the first one. It's a woman. Speaker A: I don't think so. Speaker C: A lot of shows seem to come out at once. Speaker A: Yes. Speaker D: I think we got my plex work in house. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker D: Should have access to everything my dad has. Speaker C: Yeah. No, that format's kind of weird after our modern tv where it's like this overarching story. Yeah. Like, oh, here's a story. Cut. Speaker D: We don't do as much episodic. Monster of the week. That's what we always called it from X Files days was the monster of the week. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker D: He had some episodes where the plot got moved forward and other ones were contained. Monster of the week. And you're like, is this a monster of the week or is this story? Speaker B: It was one of the two interesting. If they did almost a Batman prequel of Gray Ghost. It's only mentioned for one episode in the original. Bruce Wayne is a little kid. He's watching tv and his favorite hero on TV was the Gray Ghost. And later it changes out and some guy bought all the toys and the choosing to blow people up and oh no, Rob Banks. So he's got to go back. Speaker A: But. Speaker B: That would be an interesting prequel. Type of just let you write it, Steve. No, I'll come up with ideas, brainstorm. Speaker A: Writings and whole other beast. Speaker C: Yep. Speaker B: My scripting capability. Speaker A: That's why comedy shows and stuff always have like 10 writers. Yeah. Idea people. And then everyone else take everyone else and mush it together and actually make a show. Speaker C: Comedy shows have to be like SNL and stuff. It has to be insane. Everyone in that room brainstorming ideas. Speaker D: I pretty. It's like 50 crappy ideas for like two good ones. Speaker C: You know, the amount of stuff they probably come up With I was like, yeah, we can't put that on tv. Speaker D: It's a fun journey, but that's not going to go on the screen. We worked ourselves into a corner where just won't fly today. Speaker B: We can do that once. Who wants to get fired? Speaker C: They will find. Can they hit from. Speaker D: Couldn't be the first time. Speaker A: Buddy. Speaker C: More setting the meetings for Star Wars. What's that set in the meaning for Star Wars. Speaker A: The nuance. Speaker C: I just don't get hiring people. I've never seen the thing they're supposed to write for. Speaker B: That is just wrong again. Speaker D: As a guy who's now worked in startups, I go, okay, how would you build that out? Going to buy this IP for $4 billion. Okay. How are you going to treat it? And it's amazing what these companies will do. Like do you not how did you get to this point when you spend. Speaker A: That much money Nostalgia glasses? Because I think almost everyone's in the show. I think the way the original Star Trek generations ended with them like playing cards at the table or something. Playing poker. But they brought like everybody like back in Picard. Speaker B: The end of Enterprise. Speaker D: They rushed the end of Enterprise. Speaker B: Oh, they did. Riker's cooking in the kitchen for the captain. It's like holodeck program. Speaking of the Federation, this should be good. So wait, what. Speaker D: You want coming out too section 31. It's not Michelle Yeoh. And I actually like Michelle. Speaker A: Yo stuff usually she's been discovered. Speaker B: Discovery. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker D: I think it's the same character. Speaker C: I watched a little bit of Discovery. Speaker D: I was just like, yeah, like Discovery is weird because I had like a lot of polish but it just did a lot of stuff that wasn't Star Trek. Speaker C: Didn't feel right. Speaker A: Yeah. Well. And like I guess some of my issue too with a lot of the like prequel type Star Trek shows is like everything feels too clean or like too like shinier. Better than the older. Speaker C: All that. Speaker D: In the original Enterprise, you're trying to make something still be futuristic, but how do you still make it retro? That's really hard. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker D: Because they did that all the viewers Star Treks for that way. Speaker C: And. Speaker B: Strange new worlds. Speaker D: I actually like strange new worlds. Speaker C: My first season was good. The second season was okay. Speaker D: I haven't done a second season. Speaker A: Wandered. And then it like finally started kicking off like in the last. Speaker C: I do a ton of people's backstories, I think in that one. Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. Speaker C: And it's kind of weird for the second season. It's like, okay. Speaker D: Weirdly, I think strange new Worlds benefited from having all the new Star Treks that did that future tech thing because theirs weren't quite that advanced. Still advanced, but more like classic. Just shields and tachyon beams and, you know, phasers and torpedoes. Like it wasn't as much. Speaker B: Time travel is one of those. Yeah. Speaker C: That annoys me the most. Star Trek time travel. Like. Speaker A: No. So I think they did some in the second season. Yes. But it wasn't time travel. It was. I think it was alternate universal travel here. Speaker B: Dark Blake in the original series. Yeah. Speaker C: Yeah. Because they did the multiverse. But I think someone that died was back somehow. Speaker B: Oh, Next Generation. Oh, yeah. No, you're dead. Speaker C: What? Speaker B: He. Well, there was a quantum rip and she went back in time on this one because all of a sudden she's alive again and the Romulans got her. Speaker D: Yeah, Tasha. That's right, Tasha. Speaker A: I think Deep Space Nine had the best, like alternate universe versions of themselves. Speaker D: I watched the crowd Space 9. Speaker A: That's Star Trek. Yes. In my opinion. Yeah. Speaker D: The whole Dominion Wars. And I had a lot more of those great characters too. The Duke. Speaker A: Duke was probably one of the best characters probably ever in Star Trek. Just because I would think even closely, maybe sci fi. Yeah. Speaker B: He grew and he changed. Speaker A: He grew, but he also like, under like you there. He had enough time too that he like, under like you could. His view was. His view of reality or whatever was walk. Like you could understand why he was the way you like the way he was acting. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: It's like Thanos. You understood him. Yeah. He's not just the evil man that's doing stuff. Speaker D: A lot of those. What were their names? The Dominion. Speaker B: That one episode where it's like he goes along during the Dominion War to do a follow up, either a movie or a season because Odo went back to his people and Cisco's pretty much embracing his temple experience. Everybody has almost a deity level, 20 D and D characters as they ended that series. Yeah. The whole Dax and board thing is interesting. Yeah. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker D: All of that was interesting. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker D: It's hard to find. Seriously. Speaker C: Dr. Julian or whatever that was from. They were like genetically modified or whatever, like super people. Speaker B: And he got the aces that worked for him. The others. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker D: I wasn't sure about his character initiative. Speaker B: But it turned out. Speaker C: I just like O'Brien. And then they make. Once they find that out, he has to play darts further away. Speaker D: I talk about a great spin off. Speaker C: Character, that guy back in all of them. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: Well, they did well by pulling those characters out of Enterprise. They brought O'Brien over. Brought Worf over. That just kind of enhanced because you had all that history and they just plugged in. Yeah, it's hard. That's probably one of the hardest things for any series. MASH pulled it off. Hey. Doctor got shipped out. That one got killed. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: We've got a new commanding officer. And they made it work. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: Yes. Speaker D: I gotta think of it. Once they got. What's the. Their other roommate. Speaker B: Oh, Winchester. Speaker D: Winchester. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker D: Like, once they got Winchester in there, it was, like, 10 times better for me. Oh, completely. Speaker B: Different personalities, too. It's not like. Speaker D: But he wasn't all bad. You and I talked about this before. It wasn't all bad. Speaker C: No, no. Speaker B: He had the subtle things, like, what'd you do selling all that chocolate to the black market? Well, I can make him happy for five minutes, or I can buy cabbage and feed them for. Speaker D: Yeah, sometimes he's. Sometimes you want to punch him, but other times, he's on the same side. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker D: But bringing in other characters is tough. Speaker B: They did a good job. You could fall under that Sundari character if you. Everybody wants to hate. Nobody's kind of mushy inside. Speaker C: It's scary. Speaker D: I have to put PS9 back on my list to rewatch. Be my second screen show where I'm working on something just happen playing second screen. Speaker A: That's one ended. Get a digital version so I can have it. Speaker B: Been thinking about that, too. Out of all of them, that's one of them. Speaker C: Voyager's good. If you watch one episode. Not even that. You just catch it on tv. Speaker A: Yeah, that was. That was a great TV show. But watching them, like, in a row. Oh, I understand why people don't like it. Speaker C: I like the idea of that show, but it needs to be redone. Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker B: It had so much promise, but there are certain things that they answered in one series, and then they blew it apart and put it together differently. Speaker D: The characters were good. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: I like the characters. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: The characters. Speaker C: I mean, you kind of write yourself in a hole, and it's like, oh, you got blasted so far out here. Speaker D: Right. Speaker A: You're all alone. They're all alone. Speaker C: So it's like we have to bring in different races of people or aliens. Speaker B: And you should be closer to Survivor. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: Instead of Q's Home away from Home. Speaker A: Right. Speaker C: There's like. She always talks about, like, oh, we lost all these crew members in these fights. But then, like, you've never, like, okay, I guess I got new ones. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker B: And the burg is extra fun. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: I think they saved themselves a 7 and 9. Speaker A: Yeah. 7 was a great pair. Speaker B: They needed that Pinocchio character. Spock was it for earlier data was in the next generation. They needed that. What does it mean to be human? Speaker D: But they were trying. They were trying to like I don't know. And like the night. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker C: So she was dating Harry asked her out. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: And so she was like. Yes. Speaker D: Like this is not going to end well. Speaker A: No. And then too they had the. The whole Doctor, the AI being in this considered a mile live. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker A: That I really enjoyed. Speaker D: His character was blast. Speaker A: Yes. Speaker D: I like that when he got stuck being short he was like compressed photos. Speaker A: Be free. Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker B: That was in jets position. They could send back. So you're this huge memory hog. How is this supposed to. And then he gets sent to the other side and said. Speaker A: Probably dinosaurs. That was. That's my favorite thing from Voyager is they found out where the dinosaurs from. Speaker C: Earth went and had a space program. Speaker A: I don't remember that. Speaker C: Yes. Speaker A: They find them before the asteroid hit the planet. Speaker C: The dinosaurs had like a space fairing like film. Speaker A: They had built the spaceship I think and left Earth. Speaker C: They did. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: Is it baby. Speaker A: And they've been like flying around in space I think since then on this giant on the ship. Of course they ended that season with time travel or that series. Speaker C: They did. Speaker A: Yeah. Janeway went back in time. Speaker B: It just ends to take out the Borg and. Speaker A: No. She just goes back in time and it's like makes a wormhole or something and shuns Voyager to. Speaker C: And then she ends up dying because. Speaker A: I think she gets like. I remember they. They get back and like I remember like. I think Seven was killed like like most of the officer like the. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: Senior officer. They could all. We're all dead and stuff. And then like she like uses one of their time shifts and just goes back in time and like makes it wormhole or whatever for them so they can get. Get back sooner. And then the season end. Speaker B: I remember that it's like high tech ship go back in time, meet with the board queen, blow up the war hub. Speaker A: And that's true. Speaker C: They do. Speaker B: Bypass and take the. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: Because they go up the board network. Speaker A: Who? Speaker C: I think. Speaker A: Yeah they do. That's right. Janeway. That's right. Future Janeway comes back and outsmarts the Queen somehow. Speaker B: She's got a virus or something. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: Yeah. Because I actually disconnect a lot of them from the network because then there'd be like. Speaker A: They have lot of premises. Speaker B: Ship goes around just knock them people around. It's like we Blow it up. Resets everything. All of a sudden we've gone back year in time and yeah, it's all back again. Speaker C: They probably were like this is last season. Like oh. Speaker B: I surprised they had said, you know what, let's find an M class planet and have them talk about the. Speaker A: Yeah, that's probably what they would really have done. I don't think you'd actually have tried to fly back. Not that small of a ship. Yeah, except it was small. Speaker B: Especially when they met up with the ancestors of the aliens that met with Dakota's ancestors. I can totally see that string backwards. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: You can't do this in an hour. The montage you can log that. Speaker A: Conversation. Speaker B: The hands have been laid upon quest have been given also on call. Speaker D: But I think I just did all the things I'm gonna have to teach. Speaker A: Well, let's see. Last time you guys were looking at the second body and that Frank brave landings like enforcer dude. And then Doc asked them some questions about the death and then giggles and learned they had some sort of deal with Giggles and to leave it alone. Audrey and Jack Shar on the way back to the stable before Doc and Jack rode out for the ranch. Audrey back to work. Doc and Jack at the ranch see the ranch hands were prepping to trap and kill the vampire baby that had been attacking their cattle which they didn't know what it was yet. Doc and Jack find tracks that they follow for an hour and they appear to be heading in the direction of Blackrock mine. Then Jack and Doc set up them to wait till night time. Audrey met and bowl the old prospector guy who got teleported by a from the grim peaks by chittering dust devil while searching for gold told Ori about eerie echoes and sleeping ghosts seen and heard in the caves over there and then around then back over at the ramp ranch around 2am the vampire showed up. The cow collapsing on the hunt Ranch hand started trying to box it in. Jack spotted movement, shot and shoots and takes the baby's arm off. And the second one punches a hole through its torso. See? Then it turned invisible and ran away. Doc managed to spot movement and landed electric shot and the baby leaped at Doc. Speaker D: Seemed lucky at the time. Speaker A: Claws and fade extended. Then Doc got weird and entered the fade speaking with the creatures of them learning that they needed fire or stake to the heart to kill the baby. He returns and dodges the incoming attack, breaks his rifle stock and tries to stab the baby as it attached. Speaker D: I broke his rifle stock. Speaker A: Sorry. It's good. He misses and the baby bites into his neck inject the paralyzing venom. Jack arrives in time to shoot the baby's leg off. Forcing it to run away. To. To run away. Speaker B: One arm and one leg? Kind of. Speaker C: Yeah. Who knows how things running should shoot. Speaker A: The baby's leg off for hopping. Run away and turn invisible as it. Speaker C: Doing the bunny hop thing. Speaker A: Jack collected the arm and leg the baby with that they shot off at the inch long claws. They stay overnight and then in the morning Jack arrives back in town when Doc and takes him to Barbara Burns who cleans up the wounds and re bandages them. Then Jack takes Doc back to the boat house. Okay. And then see that Audrey went and got his order of silvered items and talked to Ramses. Turned out to be a former pell rider about Doc's condition. She agreed to come see him. Then Ramsey's arrives and examined Doc and decides she can help him if the party will go fetch a relic from night more located in the basement of her old house. Barney agreed to do that sometime. So she touches dock when golden glowing hands and tells he will be fine in two hours. See that. Then Jack goes with Ramsey to get a shotgun measure for his silver bayonet and holy water. And then which would be. Which will be ready on the 15th of August in holy water. So 10am on the 13th. You guys. Welcome to you. Speaker B: Well Audrey doesn't have good work. So he's good. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: Doc too anymore. Speaker A: Doc's up at about. It's 10:00am yeah. Sorry. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker A: Yeah. Finding two hours. Yeah. Speaker C: Then I was gonna get the moonshine or whatever bar timer thing. I was coming in the next day. Speaker A: Yeah, I think I remember that. That he can get you some. I think later today. Sylvester not says. Yeah. 14. That's the 13th right now. Okay. Yeah. Not so sure. The high octane October. So I hope you guys are at the. I'll just say you guys are at the bunk house with Dr. Getting up starting to move about. Speaker B: Moderate. We're not going to turn into one of the knives. You see me wheling on a piece of wood just in case. Speaker A: True. Speaker B: Do you tell any of the cowhands that are still guarding them that they might want to carry a bit of wood with them and brain throw it. You know for the vampire, not the barbecue. Speaker A: That could have been something you guys shared before you left. Speaker C: I don't think we knew that information till after. Speaker B: Well doctor but he wasn't talking. Speaker C: Yeah, that's true. Speaker A: Yeah. So. No you wouldn't. Speaker D: I definitely would share everything that I. Speaker A: Heard you wouldn't have been able to. Speaker B: Tell the calculus that his eyes weren't communicating to me. Speaker A: That's right. Speaker C: What does that mean? Speaker D: That's right. Speaker B: Are you gonna do the moonshot? We want to get empty bottles for like. Speaker A: Yeah, that's how I do them. Speaker B: Should we just go get a few flasks so that you can take a squig and spit fire. Speaker C: That's really. Go get some bottles. Some smaller bottles. Speaker A: They just say is Sylvester would have all that stuff. Like I guess that part of like when you were talking to him about that he was be able to provide some pain for. Of course. But yeah, you wouldn't have to go. I mean there probably wouldn't really be any other place to get alcohol bottles anyways besides the saloon. I guess the merchant might have some but pricey. Speaker B: We're not really beholden to go and help them, are we? Speaker C: The vampire to deal with that hanger isn't coming out till nighttime. Speaker B: Just our less what scalp wants to ambush like a day away. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker B: We found a ravine. Are there any traps that could be set up for vampire? Speaker C: Make one mistake. Speaker B: Make a snare going for the predator. Speaker D: Poison the cow. Put it out near the tree line. Speaker B: Would that affect a vampire? I have no idea. Speaker C: Hang up poison. Speaker B: Attach a fireball into it. Explosive calves. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: You have an idea of holy water. Fill its veins full thing up. Speaker B: Holy cow. Speaker C: A lot of water. Speaker D: I don't have trapping skills so the I mean get help design. But come in and probably do this trapper thing. Speaker B: Would it go back to the mine? I mean it's as wounded as it was, man. Speaker C: That's kind of the direction. Speaker A: Right. Speaker B: Like when we talk where it kind of came from. Obviously the bugs weren't good enough for it. So. Sounds like an all you can do buffet. Speaker A: About a day. Yeah. YouTube. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker C: I just go out to the ranch. Speaker A: And see how bad it looks. Speaker C: I can find any trials or tracks. Maybe didn't go as far. Since it was wounded. Speaker B: It comes back, it's going to be doubly careful. Twice as mean. I think it will remember your dog? Speaker A: Hoping so. Speaker D: How much downtime do we have? Speaker A: Come all day. Oh man. Speaker D: I would not talk to grandpa. Speaker B: Claws. Speaker C: They're only an inch long. Speaker D: Oh, they're short. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: Yeah. Make a brass knuckles. There you go. But they're stronger than that. Then yeah. Speaker A: Pretty hard. If you want. Speaker D: Wouldn't it buy one that would put wooden ones on. Speaker B: I bre be tempted for a pair of gloves. Speaker A: There you go. Speaker D: From high the high ground. The mountains. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker B: Lick that arm and. Speaker A: Oh. Speaker B: Poison. Speaker D: Actually this does say that you always know how and when a corpse died. Plus you're unaffected by poisons on the body. So when I'm working with it I. Speaker B: Shouldn'T be affected by toxins. But you just built up tolerance. Speaker D: That's right. Speaker B: Baby. Speaker D: I'd like to not find out. Speaker A: I was gonna say you wouldn't be able to find like anything new. But you also talked. Just sit there. It was. Was. It was a human child. Let's get. Piss them off and that. You know. They're ferocious eaters. They can eat up and like kill up to like seven or eight cattle in the night. Speaker B: Shame couldn't get him to eat bugs. No. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker B: That'd be useful. Speaker A: They're usually solitary in nature. It would be rare for more than one to form. And then. And they generally. They seldom move from the area. If all the cattle are dominated become dominant and it's. And it's a Used like a us Useful vampire is what. Speaker D: So these are. They only appear as children. Like there's never adults. Speaker A: Yeah. Okay. Speaker B: Can't tell if that's supposed to bring you peace of mind. Yeah. Small child with temper tantrums from hell. Right. I'll definitely sure y'all. Speaker D: Well there's a high chance we know where it lives. Speaker B: How long do you think it would take to travel between the mine and back? Speaker D: You saying it's about a day to get there? Speaker B: No. For us. The thing is it's supernatural. Speaker A: I never say day for flighty. Speaker C: It's a good day for us. So. Speaker A: Okay. Speaker C: True. Speaker D: And we have to go survive the gold thing. Speaker B: Six hours there and back. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: I think I move like that's where it comes from. Speaker B: Or is it like a chance or bursts. Speaker D: Although he took a leg off of it. So it's going to take a little longer to get back because it had. Speaker B: To grow in attracting. If we're successful we can drink the moonshine. You can drink the moonshine experience wasn't all that. Speaker C: A lot of experience. Head out to the rant. Speaker D: Are we pretty sure though if it's daytime it's just going to go back home. Speaker B: Right. Speaker D: So we're not going to go out to the mine. Speaker B: That's probably where it's living. Right? Speaker A: No. Speaker B: You don't know how far out or if it. Because it was wounded. It found a twist and but it still. But we were hollowing tree dug itself a nice little hole. Speaker A: Tree. Burn the tree. Speaker D: Did we get bow water yet? Speaker B: Nope. Speaker C: Nope. Not tomorrow. Speaker A: 15. So it's two days dip all. Speaker C: You can. Get that in alcohol. That's Jack's holy water. Speaker B: Easier to burn too, right? Speaker C: No, but I'd make mistakes. Speaker B: Jack's holy sticks. Speaker C: And then head up to the ranch. Speaker B: Hasn't been really exercised in a while. Speaker C: Let the ranch people know about the states and fire. Speaker B: We have some stakes pre made for your consideration. Speaker A: No, not those ones. All right. So as you guys are getting your horses ready. Woman walks up to their group. Gray, green eyes and a mustard colored hair. Let me just hand you a leather. Just a Jack. Go to walk away. Speaker B: You've been served. Speaker A: I'm a kid. Speaker B: That's what I was kind of thinking. Speaker D: P.S. it's a vampire. Speaker B: We didn't know how to take care of it so we left it out in. Speaker C: Anyone was around. Speaker A: But in the stable. Speaker C: Yeah. Look around. Speaker A: There might be like a stable kid or what to like just take care of a few horses. But there would probably would. There wouldn't really be. Speaker C: Yeah. Adrenaline just looking right. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: None of Emil's people. Then I just read it open and read it. Speaker A: 10 miles north of town. Midnight being there. Speaker B: Is that because I'm pretty? I know I'm not but come on. Make me feel a little better. We'll see if we can get him in the daylight. He should be easier then. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: I'd still head out to the ramp. I don't know if it's still morning. Speaker A: Ish. Yeah, it's only like I don't know if I spent an hour making steaks or whatever. So it's probably getting closer to new. Act normal. Speaker B: No attention to the negative sticks. Speaker A: Yeah, I was gonna say the letter to it just said like your friend from the trail. Speaker C: I would have been. Speaker A: Actually the lady would have said that. Speaker B: What? No postmarks? Hand delivered, address unknown. Speaker A: No, no one. Those doctors, the whole. There might have been some guys that got like you know, bumps and scrapes. The cows running around because of gunshots and herd and stuff like that. But are you guys bright at the ranch? 12 pound. Speaker B: Looking around for what sort of activity? Rebuilding events. Speaker A: The blood fells obvious. Once you find like you knew like what general direction it ran. Speaker C: Maybe it slows down. Speaker A: Ranch foreman Diamond Diamond Diamond Blue Black PO Intel Sandy Brown. It true. Speaker B: Time to get back it goes. Speaker C: I'd do it for like an hour. Nice to see. And then if the blood like dries up. Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. Start following the trail. Probably within like 15 minutes. And you tell it's like. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: And there's like. You can see it like this track's a little More obvious. You can tell it is like. It's like crawling dragging itself. Speaker C: More than. Speaker A: Just walking on us. It seems to be heading back in the same direction we saw the other. Found the other trail. Speaker C: That's it for me. It won't fall. Speaker A: Yep. Speaker B: We have to find it in its habitat here. Speaker C: Well, you want to go to the mine after. Speaker B: That's a very good spot to set up an ambush. Speaker D: Awesome spot for you to trap its bed. Seriously. If it has to sleep, it goes. Speaker B: Back to its bed. Speaker D: Fire bomb. Speaker A: It's bed. Speaker C: Maybe later. We go at night to the mind. Why it's out feasting or whatever. I just wait for it. Speaker B: Gotta be fast. Speaker A: There is fast. It's the flower logs. Oh, I can see an idea. No, they're just really thick darts. Little fins on the end. Yeah. Super heavy crossbow or some sort of. Speaker C: Like weird powered gadget. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: Thinker that can make true. Speaker B: Maybe of how to trap the bed. If that's how long. Speaker A: Well that I guess would be more of a general I guess world or lore world that we would decide is just cool. Speaker D: So midnight playing for now. Speaker A: All right. She is right back. Yeah. Town. Speaker B: Want to go through town or you want to go around town? Speaker A: It's true. You don't even want to bother going back. Oh no reason. Oh. Speaker D: By the last time I talked about when I got better. Speaker B: If I'd be able to use my. Speaker D: Ability to change my moderate. Speaker B: Totally with my surgeon skill. Speaker A: Yeah. Because we'll probably have you take some quick time to do that. Speaker C: Is there any on your home bumping. Speaker B: Around. Speaker D: Playing happy trails. Speaker B: That's scalpel. Speaker D: Do we want to assume that this isn't a setup? That this is the real thing? Speaker A: I'm trusting scalp. I'm not worried about that. Speaker C: If it is killable. That's Jack's mindset. Speaker B: Either way he's getting gold. Speaker C: An ambush. Speaker A: We'll deal with it. Speaker C: Look as an ambush. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: Given gold or given or take the gold. Speaker A: Given lead. Speaker B: Always had them firm believer and give and take relationship. Speaker A: So are you guys writing? Okay. Going back to town or just going straight. Speaker B: On Devious. But we don't go back to town. Have someone spot me going on. Speaker A: Yep. Speaker B: I need plausible deniability. This is getting dicey. Speaker A: Yeah, that's true. Speaker C: We could be out at the ranch for reasons. Speaker A: Yeah. That means out hunting the vampire. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: Cool. Speaker B: Imagine the fun if it followed us over to the ambush. Speaker C: I get interested. I just fall. Speaker B: I thinking about. Speaker A: Even the ranch things. Speaker C: We're just out. Speaker A: Yeah. Record and they're like clear your Tracks. I guess you guys will end up arriving there at like five in this room. Yeah. You know, the wagon's going to Phantom bank. Speaker B: Is there anybody else there? Speaker A: Yeah. So as you're like riding along the river and you're getting close to like the area where you think you should be, the same lady that gave me the letter steps out from behind a tree and just in there. Smoker voice, kind of like an accent, Japanese accent voice. They just go, you're early. Speaker C: Nothing else to do in front of grandpa. Speaker A: I was like, what? Like maybe. Maybe after this job. And she survived. Anyways, it works better that you're early. That means you get some shut eye before we like two hours. You end up like a half a day from town. And then as you're. And then you also like come into some thicker woods. You probably like an hour or so from the actual road. You start hearing like more people like talking and see a bigger campfire and stuff. Here's some horses and people kind of having a decent time in the woods camping. And there's several tents. This looks like kind of like not quite a permanent camp, but one that looks like it's been here for a while. But yeah, as you get up there, then the lady tells her, does it even color bubble? Yeah. Speaker B: Does she look more like a madam or a mess? Speaker A: Probably a mess because she's late 20s, lean, square face, gray green eyes. Hair that's kind of like slicked back but parted in kind of a mustard color. But yeah, you guys arrived there a little bit around like 11 in the morning. No, that's. You wouldn't do that. No. You only red. So it's more like seven. Sorry. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker A: That'S right. He's kind of broke the diamond face and gray green eyes. Hair has like citrine colored highlights from running through it. It's like that. That's right. He's gonna. I'm glad you made it. Oh, there that. There's just six others. Seven total. No coverings of table. Ask Bubba to go get some stew for everybody. Speaker C: What's the plane. Speaker A: I was getting ready to tell you. And he goes, we'll hit him. We'll be watching them when they're about getting, you know, within an hour, less than an hour of a ride from for us on the road. We hit them probably be around midday. As far as we know. It'll should just be three wagons. They got 12 riders then Black's leading the party, so should be able to pull off a decent ambush and get the OR and get up Pretty standard. Speaker C: You guys do this often. Speaker A: It up. Speaker B: Have you had any trouble in a lot. Speaker A: Usually the people are robbed from don't talk either out of embarrassment or because they're dead. Speaker D: Probably a couple thousand. Speaker A: That wouldn't have been fixed. You would have just given it. That would have been something. Speaker D: So we just have. I have a pistol, you have your. Speaker C: Shotgun and pistols. Speaker B: Grapple shotgun. Pistol. Hit my grandma with the bone. Speaker A: No. Speaker B: I do the rifle and the shotgun. If they're far use this one. They're close. Speaker D: I have to give me both. Speaker A: That's scalpus. He probably will want a gun because I guarantee they're all gonna have guns. Speaker B: I got got a pistol. Speaker D: Take your rifle and say although so far I've only shot him. Speaker B: That's true. Speaker D: I'll try to cover you leave you. Speaker B: With a rifle, keep the shotgun. I look at that in the way and all of a sudden I'm thinking scout, do you have a blacksmith in camp? Speaker A: If you want to just be like. Speaker B: I got a shotgun. And now he's looking at like how I'm going to use this. Kind of like. Speaker C: Would be like not very big. Yeah just go on my bag and see. Speaker B: I'd be checking with reject make sure I don't cut it up too short. Yeah last thing I need is the bottles to roll out before I get a chance to fire it. Speaker A: You'd have actual shotgun Chelsea. You went actually have to worry about that. But you could like you could have it like I mean you can have it pretty much as short as you want. Speaker D: Control gonna exit your hands every time you fire it. Speaker A: Use your hip. Speaker C: Hold it. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: Shooting from hip and not from the shoulder. Speaker D: Videos of a shotgun out with one ar. Yeah that doesn't look. Speaker C: Scout what's the exit how what's the exit plan we made back here? Are we going our chocolate ways Ask. Speaker A: Us. Speaker C: Or do we have to take the cart escort the cart comes. Speaker A: No, we'll disappear the cart down the river. Probably. Speaker B: Got a rat. Speaker A: Just kind of looks at why are you asking so many questions? It's just him. It's just him. And like you guys at this table the other people are kind of sit down that campfires are just goop and bothers by someone playing a banjo. But yeah when you ask him like he's like oh you guys are. You're welcome to come with us or go about split go about your ways. Speaker B: I go with them. Speaker A: Cuz your. Your deal is you're here whether it's a success or not. Speaker C: What is the trail look like so. Speaker A: The road from there is. I mean it's. It'd probably be like two wagons wide. So wide trail. And it'd be fair like it'd be maintained but probably like mostly just like a dirt track play. It would be maintained because he would be. Emil would be shipping crap out of there like on a monthly basis probably. So it would be a hard packed trail. Speaker C: They plan on surrounding it or they just going to be like in front of it or they like he just shows out. Speaker A: There's a thick woods by one like thick bush grass by part of it. We're just ambush and shoot them all down. Speaker C: Works for me. Speaker A: The ones that want to surrender, they'll surrender. But with black being there, I don't know. Speaker D: And we should open this party with a bang. Speaker A: We intend to blow up the road or whatever. What would you plan to do with that? Speaker B: Just make a mess. Speaker C: Just an insurance. Speaker B: You had stick it into that pocket. Speaker A: Not that snake. Speaker D: Follow. Speaker B: Depends on how long the news is. Speaker A: He does also mention that there's rumors that deals with the weird. Speaker B: I'm not sure what we're building. Speaker D: Potentially be a weird if I'm just like. Oh I won't say anything but cool. Speaker C: There you go. Speaker B: Strap. I don't know Jack. Does it look right? Speaker A: Yeah, if I'd help you with that. Speaker C: You want it here? You want it like this? Speaker B: Is there a high ground? Is this just an open flat space? Speaker C: Might be open flat face with grass. Speaker A: It's uhuh. There's some trees and tall grass. The spot we're hitting is the closest we can get to the road. Speaker B: I'm just wondering if I need to go dig a hole. Make sure I got some cover. Speaker A: It's an hour's ride from here so I mean you're welcome to head out there or do I wait till morning? I mean they're not leaving. Speaker B: If it's midnight this night. Speaker A: But it's. It's probably like while you guys are like. It's probably closer to like 8pm Now. So it is dark. But you guys have just been talking probably like an hour or so. Speaker B: Digging a hole in the dark it's like. Speaker A: But they're they expecting the. The. They'll hit the wagon around the following. Speaker B: Oh okay. I thought it was around midnight. Speaker A: No, no. Originally you guys were told to meet them at midnight. Another gonna hit the. The wagon doesn't leave till tomorrow morning. So they're. So it has to travel. So they're waiting till about noon. So it's been on the road for several hours. Speaker B: I Probably want to check out the spot. Peace of mind if nothing else you got tonight or going there early in the morning or late at night, figure out the best place to be where the grass isn't too disturbed. You need to drop a tree across the road or. Or if we want to put a couple of sticks of dynamite, just dig a hole and. Speaker C: Fuse. Speaker B: Might be a real good morale destroyer. How do you want to look? Like a magician. I have a feeling if we all hid behind the same tree, that would be just as detrimental. Until then, Ms. Buba, show me where I go in my head. Speaker A: Like looks at you. Then like looks around and looks at the ground. Speaker C: Like hold the spot. Speaker A: Find a spot. Speaker B: Right there. In that case, Knox in you go find a quiet spot. You get a guard tonight. Try and find a defensible spot on wherever we're at. Speaker A: You're kind of like in the. In the. In like a clump. Like the area where you're at right now is like savannah. So it's like mostly grass with like clumps of like trees and stuff. You guys are in like a clump of a thick clump. From an hour. Speaker B: Does it kind of drop the swell? Speaker A: Sure. Speaker B: It's kind of a. On top of a hill. Speaker A: Or it'd be hidden so you wouldn't see like the light from their fires. Right. Okay. So it is like it's a hideout. Like it looks like a good hideout spot. But like where you're. Where the place is getting ambushed is like. Because this. The lighter color on this. This. This color here, this is. This is actually wetland. So they'll be like swampy and mangrovey. So like the road, I guess it's kind of like would be like built up or it's winding through there on like the more solid ground areas. Yeah. So anything else you do? Speaker C: No. While you sleep nine to five, using the saddle for a p. Sleep. Not getting it back from us. Speaker B: Like giggles keep you awake in case he hears that the sun will rattle. Rattle Song of black. Speaker A: Yeah. Okay. Speaker B: So. Speaker D: Down the night. Speaker A: Around 4am when the sun open. Speaker D: Adam Sunny. Speaker B: My luck. Something to crawl up inside so I can rest on. Speaker A: Yeah. So where do you guys. I assume all you guys. Anyone else going? Speaker B: Where are you going? Find out where we're doing the English. Yeah. Speaker C: When I trusted Scalp enough. Speaker B: Audrey wants to find out where the best place to hide is if he goes in. I don't want too many people to recover quickly. Dresses like. You got anything to eat? As we're right now, maybe a little coffee or something. You know just. Speaker A: Points over there and there's someone else. Like the guy that was Mindy minding the stew last night's over there warming it up and has some coffee going. Speaker B: Perpetual stew. I sure hope he kept it hot tonight, otherwise it's going to be painful. Come later, take up coffee and fall it out. Now if it's an hour ride, Audrey is going to try and make small talk. I don't know if he's going to be successful or not. Bubba. How do you get the name of Bubba? Speaker A: That. Speaker B: That sounds like my uncle. And you don't look like my uncle, Ms. Bubble. Speaker A: He just goes. Speaker B: Nervous and he's just wanted to chat. Speaker A: She just goes, that's what mine brothers used to call me. Thought it was fun. Then I took ownership of it and it stuck. Speaker B: What'd your mama call you? Speaker A: Catherine. Sisters. She's still with. Speaker B: Well, this last time I checked, my leaving was abrupt. Speaker A: That's unfortunate. Hope she is well, so do I. Speaker D: Probably check her in. Speaker A: Check in on her after this adventure. As you if you haven't learned yet, you will learn soon. Time is short, time is purchases. Speaker B: How did you end up with scalp. Speaker A: Bringing food to one of the other towns in the territory? I was just handing it out to the pores and other less fortunates and orphans and seem to have the trust of the people there. So struck up a conversation with him. He's cagey, but learned enough and gave me some other jobs to borrow things from those that are more fortunate. Speaker B: You've been with them long? Speaker A: About a year. Speaker B: It strikes me as a man on the move. Speaker A: Yep. And there's probably not much in this territory that I haven't seen in over. Speaker B: This heap of year. Have you ever seen nightmare? Speaker A: Yes. Speaker B: What's it like? I've only heard rumors and tales. Speaker A: It's a place to be avoided. Unless you're a holy man or have handful of silver packed brim with specters in the remains of the people slain there. Speaker B: Can you kill the dead? I mean they're already dead. Can we like redid them? Speaker A: A few we've ran into usually been stopped by enough bullets. Speaker B: Don'T just go all wispy and come right back at you. Speaker A: The ghost folks? Oh yes. They. They don't even care about. They just ignore the bullet. I thought you meant the. The walking dead. Speaker B: Ah, the walk. Speaker A: Which you'll find them when you ride far enough away from the counts. Especially near Nightmoor. Speaker B: You have to make no to that. How do you kill a spirit? Can you? Speaker A: I'm always in her. The Holy men can do it. Silver seems to do something. But we're usually too busy borrowing from the fortunate to give to the unfortunate. Worry much about that part? Don't worry much about that. Speaker B: As long as you're not making any more. Right. Speaker A: Nothing can say with the people really slaying at all. Always rumors that the dead rise again if you don't burn them. But a lot of the rules of nature don't seem to apply anymore. Speaker B: It's a different picture. So what's the most interesting place you've ever been to. Speaker A: But interesting? What do you. What do you mean? Speaker B: If you could go back again where would you want to go? And the other one is interesting in the sense of it was an interesting place to visit. But you'd never want to go back in hell. No way. Not going back there again. Speaker A: She was probably the most entering place I've been. Would probably be the capital in Grim Water. Two rail lines coming in. A massive port. All sorts of amazing sites. Speaker B: And the place you never want to see again. Speaker A: It's the north road that passes between Grim Pipe and the port. Manuel. Let me see this. It's the town between Grim Peaks. Just west of the town that's near between Grim Peaks and and the Peaks of Light. And it lives up to its name Road to there once was. You haven't learned what don't be weird means yet. You'll probably learn it soon enough. Probably even see it today. Speaker B: You got weird folk in your camp. Speaker A: You look at us. Speaker B: You're not just brotherhood Merry man. Or is this that weird that the church gets after you for me. Speaker A: There you go. Speaker B: It's a lot of different types of weird in this world. Speaker A: But it'd be something that we feared. Speaker B: It's just like a gun. It just depends on how you use it. Speaker A: Yes. And the weird does tend to have its own opinion on things at times. It's where the funk of metal that has no and most of the time it does what it's supposed to do. Should you take care. Speaker B: So you can't take care of the weird. Does it talk back? Speaker A: Certainly has. Speaker B: Sounds like a voice in your head. Speaker A: You know where all the minerals are that are valuable around me all the time. Speaker B: That sounds handy. You ever think of becoming a prospector? Yeah. Speaker A: It's usually easier to find it on people that have already done the prospecting. Speaker C: We got a massive paint off m. Speaker A: See what it like all of you guys. Speaker B: Are you up Like Princess Solar. Speaker C: Go. Speaker D: Either he's carrying a lot of gold or he's made of Gold. Speaker B: What other types of weird have you seen? Strange and unusual effects. Speaker A: I've seen Scout make his rope dance. Do things that no rope should be able to do. Speaker B: Yeah, it just kind of get bigger. That sounds cool. Speaker A: It's allowed us to get in out of places that are away from things that we certainly shouldn't have been able to get away from. Speaker B: Is there a defense against the wish? Speaker A: Seems like the church is like a defense. Like what do you mean? Speaker B: Like when. If you're confronted with something weird, is there something you can do to get out of the way or lock it or defend yourself against it? Or is it the end of your bipel riders doing aesthetic duty? Speaker A: As far as I know, you either touched by it or you're not. I don't know if there's any. I certainly don't know of any. Heard any rumors or anything about. About removing the weird from somebody by fire. Speaker B: And if you're attacked by the weird. Speaker A: Well, it seems to be silver. And the holy people from the church seem to feel the ward off against it. Speaker B: You seem to seem to have an act of feeling with spirits and anything. Speaker A: Else. Speaker B: Man, it'd just be small talk for the entire week. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: Because trust me, I could have him asking questions for the rest of the night. After an hour we'd either be best buds or she'd be trying to figure out how to hang you by a tree. Speaker C: It's just keep getting shorter and shorter. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: Come back best friends. Or she might leave me there to keep watching. Speaker A: Arrive at the spot there is. The road is kind of built up a little bit hard through the area where it runs is a little bit higher. So it doesn't get swampy or like it's dry mostly but there's a lot of like swamp and like mangrove type clumps of trees. Pretty somewhat like soggy ground if you go off trail is like squish. Speaker B: Squish. Or is it like knee deep water wading? Speaker A: Some parts of it would be like. Would be like waiting and then other parts would just be like muddy and the other parts that would be more solid. But pretty much especially right now, this part of this time of the season or within rainy season, foggy top pie. But if you're looking for like a spot to like set up and like snipe from or hide in, there's definitely plenty of areas. Speaker B: Is there any spot where like trees are growing up over across the road? Speaker A: No, it's. There's probably like 10 to. Well there could be. I mean what are you wanting to do? Speaker B: High enough and be hidden enough, but close enough to the road to actually get there if I need to. Without swimming. We're going through mud to rip off my boots. Speaker A: Yeah. You can find a tree that's close, fairly close to the road and then. Speaker B: A good spot to set up. Knox not spotted or. Speaker A: He would be fairly far back into the bush. Or if you just want to sit there. Speaker B: It'D be one of those things. Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. She's like, if you want to sit up here, I can take care of your horse. Take them back, lead them back up to our ambush spot at least and leave them there or let them loosen when the fighting starts. Speaker B: I'd probably go with her up to the actual amber spot and set up to wait for everybody else to arrive. Let's cope at the area. Speaker A: Yeah. You can tell like just from like the way the, like the river area bends it. Like, this is like the best spot you can get within like a day. Speaker D: Thanks. Speaker A: Be like super hard to start a fire at this point for like an hour. Yeah. Speaker B: Forward and watching the waterfall go off the end or tipping it back. Speaker A: But yeah, around a couple hours later, around 11, everyone else starts, everyone else shows up, goes over the plan again. We're just going to hit him hard and fast. Someone throws up their hands, don't shoot them. They shoot back. Speaker B: Shoot them dead. Worse for me, they throw their hands up. Isn't that volunteering to be shot? It's like, shoot me next. Speaker A: No, no one will caught you. Speaker B: Shoot them. Speaker D: So if there's anything advantageous for us. Speaker B: Here in the English spot. Speaker A: What are you looking for? Speaker B: Similar. Speaker D: Just looking for good hiding spaces or spaces to evacuate from or where they. Speaker B: Might fall back to. Maybe wanted to cut them off. Speaker D: Like what's valuable to me here. Speaker A: Well then if they try to retreat, they would either. Most likely they're just gonna barrel forward if they're gonna run for it because. Speaker B: Okay. Speaker A: You're not gonna really turn a team of wagons around on this road very easily. Speaker B: See guards trying to though. Right. Speaker A: And like riding off into the swamp is not. You have a bad time, you'll probably end up with a horse. With a disabled horse. Speaker D: How close to the water are we? Speaker A: It just. It's a mishmash of. It's pretty. It's wetland swamp stuff. So you can go 10ft and be up into your knees. Speaker B: Okay. Speaker A: That's why going off the road is dangerous. Like trying to get the right. Speaker B: Specialist. It's wide enough for two wagons wearing like something. Speaker D: We need more time, people like filters or something. Speaker C: But this is just going to be passing around. Speaker A: Yeah. As you guys are. It's almost time. Speaker C: Yep. I'm ready to go. I want it be wor. Oh yeah. Speaker A: But yeah if you don't plan to use your horse you can tell they're all gonna ride in on horses because where they're at like you can get down onto the road like they're pretty. They're only like 20ft. That's why they're at this spot. Speaker D: I know you can't get off the. Speaker A: Road with your wife's not much. Not really for many like that's why they've picked this spot too like they can am like they're just riding in. Speaker D: Okay we're riding in. Speaker A: It's a. I'll leave my first behind. Speaker B: Can I ride behind when you pop. Speaker A: Off. Speaker C: Like 5 minutes. Speaker A: Travel from what the top From Brave Landing to Phantom Bay. So we need supplies now. Speaker C: Not doing our travel with his beans and jerky. Speaker D: Dried fish. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker B: And I'm just craving an MLT what's nice and honey onion rind. Speaker D: Lettuce and tomato. Speaker A: Onion husk. Onion hut soup. Speaker C: I remember that guy's name. I don't remember either Harold there. I don't remember my old guy that just sucked on right there. Speaker B: Somebody did a weird spot. Wagons go in but they don't come out. Yeah like an old chardy man. Yeah it's an 8 bit ambush. Yeah that's all better than AIT AMB. Speaker A: None of that showing on my courses. Speaker B: There from moment I thought we saw the Finland Cadillac. Okay so three wagons. Speaker A: Yeah I'll zoom in. Yeah. So there's. Yeah. So you guys are like hiding out until the wagon's about almost even I guess the the lead wagon is even with you and then. Speaker B: Do we know which one Black is? Is he the solo in the back. Speaker A: There you possible you wouldn't. It'd be hard to like pick anyone particular I guess well my reputation and. Speaker B: If he's leading the band. Speaker A: But actually yeah I was gonna say yeah this dude in the back is on like a black like Friesian like sty like a big horse and he is like they dressed in all black. Yeah they're all. Speaker C: Someone might be miserable. Speaker A: They're plotting along. Yeah and then a meal just like tips his head Scout. Yeah scout. Speaker B: Sorry Heals there too. Speaker A: Yep. Speaker D: He's stealing his own gold. Speaker C: Let's go. Speaker D: It's gonna be easy boys. Speaker B: Black called in sick. Speaker A: Put on my. Speaker C: Wolf mask and bandana. Speaker A: Oh yeah. Speaker B: I definitely put on. Speaker A: Yep. Yeah. So you yeah. Was the bottom part? Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker B: You think you'll recognize me? Speaker C: Want put up my hair? Speaker A: No, I don't have. What's that? Speaker C: Hide my hair? Speaker A: Yep. So yeah, Emil gives the. Gives the order and everyone goes charging out. You guys charging out? I guess I don't know where you want to. Whatever. Yep. So. And they all start shooting and people start shooting back. What do you guys do? Speaker B: Hold on tight. Speaker C: I'd aim for the driver on the first cart. Speaker D: That's according thing. I'll aim with rifle for. Speaker A: No. Yeah. So you had mixed nine. All right. Yeah. So you killed the driver. I'll just. And then Doc shot at the driver on the second middle wagon. Speaker D: I was going to try to actually take out the one with him. Speaker C: The second dude that was sitting on there. Speaker D: Yeah. But I missed. Speaker A: You missed. Speaker D: Okay, so I have to spend some time in. Speaker A: Oh, you just did spray and pray. Speaker D: No even fire. Speaker A: Okay. Speaker D: It just says spend time. Several rounds trying to land a hit, but fire wild. Spend some time. Speaker A: All right, so. All right. Yeah. So you just shoot all your. Shoot a bunch. Jack shoots once chose the driver. Speaker D: I'm all self conscious next to Jack. Speaker A: Minus. Yeah, I'll say you get grazed, you take a level two riders go shots or use the wagons for the COVID All right, let's keep going around. Speaker B: I'm going to spend the. Speaker D: Make it a mix. Speaker A: All right. Speaker D: Honestly, it's glancing is less effective. Speaker A: Without. Speaker D: Putting myself in danger. Speaker B: Are we still riding up closer? Are you staying in line with. Speaker D: I'm kind of hanging back a little bit and trying to shoot at range. Speaker B: So I won't have as many like. Speaker D: Pistol fire people in. Speaker B: I have a rifle. You want to focus on writing and I'll shoot. Speaker D: You didn't write in. Speaker C: I mean, it's not writing. Speaker D: Oh, okay. Speaker B: Well then I'm on the back figuring I'm just gonna end up close in the middle. Speaker C: Yeah, I'll just hop off. Speaker D: If that's the. If that was the plan, then I'd still be writing. Speaker B: But if everybody's staying back. Speaker D: No, it's fine. They all wrote in. These are all writing in. I just won't hang back then. If that was the plan of your own life, then I'll just ride in. Speaker A: To drop you off. Speaker B: No, go ahead and do it. Speaker D: But I'll come towards the. Speaker B: If they get close enough, I'll shoot them. If you want to hang back, then I'll just. No, no, no, that's fine. Speaker D: I would not hang back. If I was going to drop you. Speaker B: Off. Speaker D: That I would shoot it black But I would be writing down this direction so I know if you're shooting. Speaker B: Are you shooting? I got. If they're in pistol range. Speaker A: Yeah, you guys are. It's. You're only like, maybe like 20ft away from everyone. This is. They charge in. They're shooting in there. Speaker B: And yeah, whichever guards closest, the. The greatest threat is the one I'd be shooting. Eight skill. Speaker A: All right, so what do you get? Glancing shot or you're in danger. Speaker D: There's a lot of danger left. Speaker B: There is a lot of danger left. I better go for a. Not as effective or go for glancing. Stop by getting at me if I draw attention. You what? You make a great shield. As I demonstrate a single time. Speaker C: Doctor gets hurt. Speaker A: Yeah. So, yeah, you. You wing one of the guys, but that doesn't stop the. These guys. You can see one dude is ridden up to this. They're riding up to the horses to get to, like, grab them. You can tell that they're, like, keeping them going, like, down the road. You can hear Black shoddy and they keep the wagons going, get faster. And these guys are kind of like, set up like a screen now. Like, they're in front of like. Yeah, they're setting up like a screen, basically. And they're just ripping and firing on thumbnail squad. Shoots down another guy. Whole group here still. Now you're kind of like dancing around, shooting at each other, riding around. Yeah. So just keep going around. You do see. Yeah, Black's going. You see Black go around the back side, moving up the. The line towards the front. All right, so what are you guys doing? Speaker D: And still be pulling down towards the front with the. Speaker A: With the group. Speaker D: Can I see These guys are trying to pull on these horses. Speaker A: And if you want to shoot out them, assume you a disadvantage because you're riding their writing. Speaker B: So. Speaker C: But not. Speaker D: Not disadvantage of these guys. Speaker A: No, because they're all active in fighting. You can tell the. The carts are speeding up. Speaker D: All right. I'm actually just going to shoot the first horse. Speaker C: Okay. Speaker A: All right. And I will. Let's see. Speaker D: Use that point to make it. Speaker A: All right. Speaker D: I'm going to go ahead and, like, put myself in danger to kill the. Speaker A: All right, so you shoot the horse as it's. You see it get shot as you see Black. Yeah, you shoot it and it's. You wound it. It's still running. You can see Black runs up and like, points over, shouts at him. And it's like shouts at those guys to just start focusing more on the. To protect the. The horses, too. Speaker B: When he Yells that out. Am I within range to shoot at him? Speaker A: You can certainly try and shoot out. See with disadvantage because he's like on the back side to the. He's like on the back sides of the carts. Speaker B: He's making too much. Speaker A: No. Speaker B: I will spend a couple of points to get that to a seven. Speaker A: All right. Speaker B: And I'm going to draw attention and. Speaker A: Oh, great. All right. Speaker B: For an effective hit on him. I don't think he's wearing anything bulletproof, but. Speaker A: Yeah, you managed to get a shot on him and hit him. And then also, like, while you're like, what are you trying to do that you do manage to like, like, lock eyes with them. So it's like kind of like that weird moment. Yeah. You lock eyes and you see one of his eyes turn purple. Like it glows purple outside. And then you see two of the guys that got shot down kind of like spring up and they have like this purple glow in their eyes and they come rushing it at you and. Speaker D: Doc, like, not with guns, like just with hands. Speaker A: Yeah, they're. Yeah. And you can see like their chest shots or got shot in pet or whatever, but they're very clearly. They should be dead. I'm running up at you guys a meal. Scalp shoots down there. Shoot down another person. Speaker C: Yeah. Shoot the guy closer and the channel should become. Speaker A: Yeah. Drop another. That guy drops. Yeah. So Doc and I guess and Audrey. Yeah. They're, you know, the guy. They rush up and are trying to like, grab all you guys off your horse. Speaker B: Ride faster in front of the wagon. We'll see if they'll run over them. Speaker A: All right. Speaker D: Like, are they. They're grabbing onto us right now? Speaker A: Yeah, they say they are trying to pull you off your horse. So what do you do? Speaker D: Take the muzzle of my rifle down in his face and just pull the trigger. Speaker A: All right. Speaker D: Just do the. Speaker A: Yep. What about you, Audrey? Speaker B: Oh, that silly. Speaker A: All right, give April. Speaker D: I got a mixed. Speaker B: Nine. Speaker A: All right, so just go poking in the eye. Speaker B: This purple eye. Speaker D: Dangerous. I just put myself in danger and blow his head off. Speaker A: All right, let's see. Yeah. So, Audrey, what are you got seven to nine results. So you have OG and Will offer you. Yeah, I'll say the. See. Yeah, I guess you get. You'll get more like the guy will call back. Actually now, I guess he can become disarmed or. Or the enemy backs you into the corner, which Will takes to mean that he was able to pull you off the horse. Speaker B: So he's dead. But I fallen off the horse. Speaker A: Yeah, essentially. Yeah. Speaker C: Okay. Speaker A: We hurt the enemy and then he hurts you. Speaker B: So I get pulled off a horse and. Speaker A: Just like. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: Yeah, I was gonna say. So, yeah. The guy that you shot, Doc, you see, like, the bullet, like, passes right through his face, but he seems to not care. But his eyes are still glowing. Speaker B: He still has eyes. Speaker A: So it went through his face. So I'm shot right in the forehead. But he is still active. He's staggered back a step. The one that you stab, you see, like the. As you're, like, getting pulled off, you see the. The purple go away. Okay. I wanna. Speaker D: I want to pull up my horse since he's now off. I'm gonna pull up my horse, like, to rear and then just have it and then, like, spur him to go, but so that his hoofs, his hooves come down on the. On the guy in the mud and just squish him and then, like last forward. And as I do that, I'm gonna pull my gun up and try to kill the other horse. Speaker A: All right, give me a fight roll for your horse. Yeah. While you're. How do you do a fight left on the horse? Speaker D: Just normal roll. Speaker A: Yeah. It'll be with your grip or it's a flat roll if you're just relying on your horse. Speaker D: Oh, well, grit's also flat, so I'll spend one to make it successful. Speaker A: Start adding. Speaker D: I just got another point to make this good. Speaker A: Add stats to your horses. Yeah. Maybe next week. Speaker D: So it'll be a mix. Speaker A: Yeah. So you. You trample over that guy and knock him to the ground. But then the other two of the other, like, more riders are coming at you. Because reading you're. They tell it, they can see that they're rushing at the horse. You're rushing at the horse. So then you go and shoot. So. Speaker D: Gosh, Roland, I haven't rolled any successful rolls tonight, so. Yeah, fail. I miss it. Speaker A: So flatness. Okay, so that's just a straight mission. Speaker D: Yeah. Speaker B: Simon's missed it. So if they're coming around for him, I'm off the horse. If they're within range, I want to pop up that shotgun and shoot both of them as they're. They're closing in. So I'm behind your horse. You just see bucks shot right behind you. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker D: Sorry, what was that? Speaker A: Oh, no, I was just going to say. So if you. You straight missed. What was your. Your. Speaker D: I just realized I didn't even actually spend the other ones to get seven because I have a plus one. I was just thinking. Anyways, you were saying. Speaker A: So. So you rolled A seven on shooting the horse. Yeah. Fire, take shot, or. Speaker D: Sorry, no, no, no, no. That I just mismed. Speaker A: Okay. Speaker D: It was a. It was the normal. Like your. A fire. And now I have to, like, spend time to reload, distributing. Speaker A: Okay, so you straight up. Speaker D: I straight up missed the horse. Speaker A: Yeah. You. Yeah. Well, I mean, everything is also, like, moving up the trail because you guys are. It's not. It's not static. Their horses, they're trying to gallop off while everyone's kind of like fighting, racing up the road. So you would probably actually be getting left behind. So I'll say, yeah, you got pulled off the horse. He trampled the guy and is running up at the other horse. You can shoot at the guys that are coming down or shoot out one of them, I guess. Speaker D: And rather than reload the rifle, I just put it away and pull my pistol. Speaker B: Okay, but how far away is it? Speaker A: If I wanted to run to the wagon, I'll say. The way they're moving, you could. You could make a shot for getting onto the middle wagon. Speaker D: Unless you're calling for me, I'll come pick you up. Speaker B: No, I'll do it. I'll run for the middle wagon. Speaker C: There is two guys on that one we haven't dealt with. If I see him doing that, I'll shoot at this two guy. Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. Speaker C: Switch to my pistols and go try to shoot a boat. I got a. I guess I can spend too much. Speaker A: Oh, bump it to seven screen guys. Oddly. Running for the. Running for the. Speaker C: But I got a seven and I'll just place myself a name. Okay. Take out those two drivers. Audrey's running up. Speaker A: All right. Yeah, I'll say you. Yeah, you get both of them. So you're. I'll have you do. React to danger using. I guess your reflexes or strength would. Speaker B: Be either greater reflexes. Speaker A: Actually, no, I guess this would make sense to be reflexes because the danger would be like, we run over. I need you to. You get. You get shot at. So you want to try and dodge the incoming bullets if you're dodging, like. Yeah. If you're trying to dodge them. Or. Speaker B: I'm gonna spend a lot of luck to get myself up to 10. Speaker A: Okay. Speaker B: My worst. Speaker A: Yeah. Okay. You'll take a minor grazing when you get grazed. Speaker B: I get a roller and once. Next time when I'm. I've got another action. Speaker A: Right. Speaker B: No. Speaker A: Yeah. So. So you run up. You get up there, and I. I don't know if you shove the bodies off, push them out of the way, or just sit on them. Speaker B: Oh, I pretty much. I go across them and Black's just on the other side. Nice and close. He's worthy of shot. Speaker A: All right. Speaker B: Give them both barrels. Exactly. Speaker A: Yep. You can roll that up on his omni cart there. Speaker C: Any luck? Speaker B: Only for making a mess. Speaker C: Make a mess. Speaker D: Terrible tonight. Speaker B: The rules now because it's a shotgun and I'm that close. Is there advantage in that or is it just not only. Speaker A: If it was stationary, I'd be fine with advantage. But everything is moving. Yes. And he's not. He's not passive like he saw you do all that stuff too. So he's going to be like reacting to what you're doing. Speaker B: It's a. It's a complete miss. And I've got to reload. Speaker A: Okay. Speaker B: Use the other bodies for the fence. Trying to move them out of the way. Speaker A: Yeah. So you. You did. Yeah. Was this straight miss? Yeah. Okay. Speaker B: And my reflexes are minus one. So yeah, there was. I spent all my luck to get on the wagon. Speaker A: Yeah. So he's straight. He did. He just goes over and shoots you. So a major gunshot wound. So that's. And then I guess he also. You'd have. You'll have being bleeding to Minor bleeding right now. All right. Speaker D: Welcome to my world. Speaker A: Did you have something that you had to react to? Speaker C: Yeah. So I got it. That's my wrathful. The first time you're hurting a fight make this flavor rage. Then you can either and it's just a grit. And then I get anger depend when I roll. But I either go to an enemy destroy a weapon if they're within reach or terrifying enemy in a fleeing or freezing. And I would do that one the freezing. The Terrence I got one anger I could spend. So I do the terrifying enemy freezing. Speaker A: Okay. Are you doing that now or. Yeah. Speaker C: Shot at me with. Speaker A: So does that only apply to the guy that shot you or is that anyone? Speaker C: Anyone. Speaker A: So I will give you the opportunity. Opportunity that like you saw because you're. You're there. You see you shot the guys at Audrey. So you see him get up there, try and shoots at Black misses. So if you want to like cause him to like freeze or whatever. If you want to spend your point. Yeah. Start riding up to avoid Audrey taking the damage. Speaker C: I'd start charging forward. Speaker A: So one of scalps gain guys goes down. So I'll just keep these in a line. Let's do this. Speaker C: Works for me. Speaker A: I guess it's up to you. I'll use my token. Yeah, well, you can use your tokens. Or just like the fix. Like we're using friction. So they just basically the battle lines right now. Speaker C: No, I would be riding up towards f. Shot him. Get shot. Speaker A: Yeah. If you want to, you guys can put Minis like where you're at. Speaker C: I'd be up there. Speaker A: Okay. That's true. Speaker C: York is like up here. Speaker A: Yeah, he's up there. There are guys on horses too. They're big. I know. I almost tried to buy some minis for this, you know. Speaker B: Thought about that too. Speaker A: Buy some like wagons. Yeah. Speaker C: But there's brackets. Speaker B: I didn't see any real western. Speaker A: There's not very much. Speaker C: You have to like go on Etsy. Speaker A: Yeah. Then they're like $20 a figure. Like many actually consider buying a 3D printer. Speaker C: Well, I'm gonna get one then. Speaker A: You're small enough just asking stuff. Speaker C: Or it's all paper. Speaker D: I totally wouldn't. Speaker C: I should have wonder if it's still set up. Speaker A: That's true. So it is 9:00. Do you guys want to pause and pick? Speaker D: Yeah. Probably be a while to finish it. Speaker B: You gotta give a week to see if our dice start blowing. Speaker D: Oh my gosh. Speaker A: I have a right roll. Everything is resolved now. Right. So, Audrey, you don't have any wounds because Jack prevented. Because he froze black when he went to shoot. Froze. And that was enough for you to dot. Speaker C: And then my eyes were like flashed like yellow. And there probably would have been, I don't know, some sort of thing up here for a second in black. But I saw that. And that's what made him. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: Like a shadow creature or something. Just like would have been blackboard. Saw that and that's what made him like freeze or run. Speaker A: You would see that it. He. It'd be like a hesitation. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker A: For him like so you. You would instantly know that like he wasn't. He should have been more scared of that than he was. Speaker C: Yeah. You see the gold in your cart? Which one has the gold in it? Speaker B: As I ducked, I would probably be looking. What am I in here with? Speaker A: You are in the gold car. Okay. So do we learn anything new about the world? Kind of. Speaker B: We're starting to see some of the different types of weird. Speaker C: We kind of learned about the. That pass isn't very nice. Speaker B: The law has passed. Learn more about night more. Speaker C: We learned some stuff. Speaker B: Yeah. Undead. If it's a body, it's silver. If it's a spirit, you know, name priests or whatever. Maybe some holy water. Speaker A: Did we overcome a notable monster? Speaker B: Yeah, we're working on it. Speaker D: Just my own Pride. Speaker A: That is probably no treasure list. Speaker C: Session. Speaker A: Any session or character. Speaker C: Low light settings were notable. Speaker A: Any highlights? Speaker B: Low lights. Speaker D: I can't hit anything. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: This system's brutal. Speaker C: Like you have to focus into that Luck is. Speaker D: Yep. Speaker B: You save your luck if an extended period because you just don't know when. Speaker A: Yep. Speaker B: Come on T.R. beat the tar out of me. I'm gonna need it later. Speaker A: See. Oh and then probably no long term goal stuff. Speaker C: That's finish this heist and hopefully be able to go back to town. Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. Next week. Finish heist. Speaker B: Two more laptop. Then being able to answer questions. Speaker A: Just one. Speaker B: Just one. Speaker A: Just one. No way. Speaker B: I'm rolling tonight. Speaker A: All right. Finish the fight. If you guys all survive. Off to the vampire. Speaker C: Yep. Finish that. Get my gear. Speaker B: Would black come close enough to the wagon if he knows I'm on the wagon with the entirely possible. Speaker C: I'm guess the other ones are just supplies then. Speaker A: But. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker C: Good. Speaker B: But once I see it then I'm kind of wondering. I'm also looking at my skills. I can't hit anything. So there'd be a level of frustration there. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: So if he's close enough. Speaker C: I can. Speaker B: See Audrey jumping on the horse and doing some very crazy. Speaker C: That's true. Doctor keeps getting. Speaker D: Somebody'S gotta get. Speaker B: Figure out what my weird would be and. Speaker A: Tying it in with what is like your. Speaker B: Well, weirdo is like you're weaving colors. It's neither here nor there. So I'm kind of thinking with the idea of I took this the skill your servant when I got the. The fire. So I'm wondering what if his weird would be like detonate an AOE firestorm that would go out to a certain range and incinerate all enemies that burn them greatly. Speaker A: Right. The only thing that. That might step too much on the fighters thing because he has something that just is like can delete bad guys. Speaker B: Well, he's got the one where mine's. Speaker C: Just ripping hair with teeth and flaw. Speaker B: So you would be morphing into something else. I'm just detonating kind of like under pressure. Just. But I don't know. Speaker A: Yeah, I'll. I'll read on that too. Read a whole bunch on the red. The character sheets. A whole lot with the rip and tear. Speaker B: I see that as. Yeah. A single enemy deletion. It would be. What would be. It would be the knife and I would be just. Speaker C: Yeah. Speaker B: The firecracker. Speaker C: Or I would use it to jump between targets if they were close enough. Speaker B: Yeah. Because the dot slot. Speaker C: Yeah. And then. Speaker B: Till the rage runs out. Speaker A: Yeah, probably see that.
