Iaso (ee-AH-so)

Iaso lived in a low-floating sky city up to his teenage years. Raiders performed a daring attack, gliding into their skytown from a mountaintop. They killed or made slaves of the citizens, sacking the town and causing it to fall from the sky. Everyone he knew died in the town-fall or slave camps, mining, constructing raiders' buildings, etc.

Another raider group attacked their captors' camp one day, and he was knocked unconscious by magic, left for dead. When he regained consciousness, everyone in the camp was slaughtered or hauled off to become slaves for the opposing raiders. His chains were gone, leaving only his manacles/cuffs; they had turned to silver and held the symbol of Irori emblazoned with the words “humility, perfection, discipline”. Iaso knew in his heart why he was spared and now strives to heal, helping others move forward in life better than before. While he has no love for slavery or those preying on the innocent, he continually wears the silver manacles as a reminder of his rebirth and second chance to live a meaningful life.

Iaso joined Bellowsong about a year ago due to their need for healers, and to expand his access to find others in need of rescue or knowledge of a better path.
