Speaker A: That would be an interesting way to do it, class.

Speaker B: It would be.

Speaker C: I probably sign up for it.

Speaker D: How you doing, man?

Speaker B: Good. Good week.

Speaker D: It's weird that summer's almost over, though, honestly.

Speaker B: I know.

Speaker D: Has been for me, too. That's.

Speaker C: Hold on to the illusion the heat will still be here.

Speaker B: Yeah. Yes. Yeah. Nice and warm today. Yep.

Speaker A: Probably be till, like, October before it cools off again anymore. That's what it's been like. Feels like the last couple years.

Speaker E: Yeah.

Speaker C: The mornings will get chilly. Might get some frost overnight.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: But the days. The ketchup.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: It'll be almost a year since I moved out here.

Speaker B: November 1st.

Speaker D: Where was it from again? I was over in Seattle, from Wisconsin. So be less rain. Still cold. Yes. In Wisconsin. It's probably colder.

Speaker B: Yes.

Speaker D: It seems like last year's winter was pretty mild anyway.

Speaker A: It was.

Speaker D: I thought it was pretty shorts.

Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah, exactly.

Speaker A: I think we only had the shovel twice. It wasn't that much yesterday.

Speaker D: Anything for Labor Day. I know you're starting classes.

Speaker B: I know. Yeah, I'll be.

Speaker A: I'm taking off work because I'll. I'm in Malibu.

Speaker B: Thursday.

Speaker D: Katrina saw Dick Van Dyke there. Venom in person. Absolutely. Made a fool of herself. Triple ice cream on his shoes. Like, I mean, it was amazing.

Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Yeah.

Speaker D: I wish I had, like, a recording.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: It was fantastic.

Speaker C: She was a comedian. That must have been providing a lot of good material.

Speaker D: He was so nice. He did not, like, make her feel bad. But she came unglued. She's. She's saying Chitty Chitty Bang Bang to Dick Van Dyke inside a grocery store.

Speaker A: Hey.

Speaker D: Not the whole thing.

Speaker A: Not enough of it.

Speaker D: That I was like.

Speaker B: I love you.

Speaker D: She mentioned all his old stuff. I think he was doing, like, Diagnosis Murder and some other stuff at the time.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: Which she had not watched. But she was just talking about all those classic stuff. He just dreamed. He was super cool about it. Malibu. I guess tons of stars roam around there. He may run into. Where are you guys going to meet at?

Speaker A: Where they rented, like, some Airbnb house.

Speaker B: And we're just like.

Speaker A: All the employees are remote, so we're like. It's like our first. Like, everyone will be in, like, the same location, so we're just spending, like, I guess. I guess it's really, like three, four, three days.

Speaker D: Some of them you haven't met, Right?

Speaker A: I've met all of them, but none of them in person.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker D: It's one of those. When you see people in video and then you see them in person, you're like, oh, you're shorter than I remember.

Speaker B: Than I thought, you know?

Speaker A: Well, that was one of the guys because I guess for the scheduled surf lessons for us.

Speaker B: Oh, no.

Speaker A: So what? So the. I guess the. The founder number two guy was getting like, everybody's like, I guess, height and weight for the wetsuits. And he made a comment in the meeting. I was like, apparently I'm very short.

Speaker D: Most of you guys are tall. That's funny. Is pretty cool, though. It's weird because it's like, I think they have most of Malibu as a requirement where they have to have the same, like, red roof over it. It's like that weird, like, wavy stucco looking stuff.

Speaker C: Kind of a tiled.

Speaker D: Yeah. Because we went down for a thing at Pepper County University, had an event and we went there for it, and I was noticing it driving around and somebody said it was the rule that Pepper Nine had to get permission because they wanted to make the roof of the. Their pool building blue, where they had like, the students could go swim. But then they had to get, like special city permission and they got. And it's that blue. It had to be the tile, but it was all blue. It's kind of interesting, but it looks kind of neat when you're driving by all these places.

Speaker C: It's not so much in HOA except.

Speaker D: It covers the whole city pretty much.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: It's weird. Unless your grandfather did for some reason.

Speaker C: I just bought that house. It's supposed to have that color roux.

Speaker D: I can see why people live there. But keep an eye out for slips.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker E: Barbie.

Speaker D: Just walking on her tiptoes.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: I don't know how much we're actually.

Speaker B: Going to be out and about and.

Speaker A: I think where they had a couple like a lunch or two and then a dinner or two out. And then I think most power is going to be like engineering jam if.

Speaker E: We meet that Mercer.

Speaker A: Oh, yeah.

Speaker D: So in like three days, we saw Dick Van Dyke and I saw Axl Rose, which I only recognize because of like the massive cross tattoo and his entourage with him. But then when I went to New York last summer, I saw the guy who plays Sheldon in Big Bang Theory in a restaurant. So it's like you're not even like you're looking for it. But if you're in the city where they're bad and you happen to go to one of the places, even the supermarket, they might be there out. One guy that went to Pepperdine said he played basketball and did pickup games where Dave Duchovny from X Files and Adam Sandler would show up and they would just. And they were like super nice and just play.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: As long as everybody would, you know, acted. We're like, let's get pictures.

Speaker B: Bang girls.

Speaker D: So it's like they're human.

Speaker A: They have.

Speaker E: And I would just do that on family quote time. I try not to do like Billy Madison or Happy Gilmore.

Speaker D: Every time he scores, you're like, well, we're. Put it up.

Speaker B: Cool.

Speaker D: That's awesome.

Speaker B: All right.

Speaker D: I shaved a guy's face off.

Speaker E: Yeah.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker E: Oh yeah.

Speaker D: Not me personally. I don't do that in real life, in case you were concerned.

Speaker C: Is that why you only work at distance now and it's all zoom confidence.

Speaker D: I just take the heads clean off now.

Speaker B: I don't.

Speaker D: The face looks too complicated.

Speaker C: Two months of surgery.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: And that's pretty much the summary. You guys have fun. Get to night more.

Speaker E: Yeah.

Speaker A: Got the night more. Snuck into the tower without getting noticed. Went downstairs, found the creepy carnival music and screaming. Had a pretty epic fight. Killed all the clowns, shaved off the head clown space.

Speaker E: Saved nine people.

Speaker A: So yeah, that's basically where we're at is the aftermath of the fight.

Speaker B: You guys did the.

Speaker A: Did one year. I guess the initial after fight healing. You have nine. There's nine people with you that are like patched. Like at least stable now.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker E: Stables, you can do that for getting a pound.

Speaker A: Oh yeah.

Speaker B: Narcissist.

Speaker A: Divine healing was helping a lot of that and document.

Speaker C: He had a huge clown hammer too, right?

Speaker B: Yes. Yep.

Speaker A: There's a big. And it's still. It's laying on the ground next to him and it's. And it's still kind of like emitting or dripping.

Speaker D: I have a question though. Do you still have frog legs?

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: I think I doc would be patches somebody up and go, you still have frog legs. Go back to hop over.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: So yeah, that hammer is still. It's a big, big squeaky child's toy.

Speaker E: It's looking two handed hammer that makes.

Speaker A: Squeaky noise when it was hitting you guys. And there's kind of like a faint blood colored like flame that kind of drifts and drips from it still. And the music is still going.

Speaker E: From.

Speaker D: The device from the camera.

Speaker A: You don't know where the music's going.

Speaker E: It's still going.

Speaker B: Yeah. I don't want to examine it.

Speaker A: Yeah. I mean just looking at it. You don't. That's what you see.

Speaker B: I pick it up.

Speaker D: A low frog squat.

Speaker C: Rip it right out of his sleeve.

Speaker A: Your knees are like up here.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: As you grab it give me a mind roll.

Speaker E: Oh boy.

Speaker D: Here it goes.

Speaker B: Not great.

Speaker C: The one hammer to rule them all 8.

Speaker D: Are you becoming the successor to Giggles.

Speaker C: Start to become a clown?

Speaker D: The notes are frogging.

Speaker B: Oh yeah.

Speaker A: As you grab it.

Speaker B: You kind of.

Speaker A: Feel like a little like shock tingle of power. And you learn the weapon's name is get hit.

Speaker B: Get hit. Yep.

Speaker A: G G H E with the. With the little accent on it.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: Isn't that what you do with a hammer?

Speaker B: You get hit.

Speaker A: And you immediately know you can turn. You can control the. You can emit the carnival music. You can turn that on and off whatever you want.

Speaker D: Carousel likes that.

Speaker A: You also can jump like he was jumping around.

Speaker D: Oh, nice.

Speaker A: So you have confetti rocket jump.

Speaker B: Oh, basically. And it does.

Speaker A: It will make horn sounds or the party.

Speaker B: Jump. What was it?

Speaker A: Oh, and you also know that you can just put it. Put it away and pull it. Yeah, I can just out instantly. It's just there. Gone.

Speaker B: Appear.

Speaker D: It disappear.

Speaker A: That's in your hands.

Speaker E: Be a good weapon.

Speaker B: Is it a two hander? Yes.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker B: Yeah, it's.

Speaker A: Yeah, it's a D6H plus strength. Two hands on.

Speaker C: You got mutation for strength. So you can single hand that thing.

Speaker D: Well, I can try to mutate anything. Who knows it'll work.

Speaker E: One giant arm.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: It's actually shrunk. I just pushed all the muscles. It's like a dollar.

Speaker E: You need to rest.

Speaker A: Say it's probably like just a pro. Like maybe like early evening.

Speaker E: I don't need to rest. Out one.

Speaker B: Okay. I got no more duster. I'll be fine. Guess I want to try this out.

Speaker D: Make it appear.

Speaker B: Disappear. Make it appear.

Speaker C: Now it's over.

Speaker B: Music now.

Speaker D: Music.

Speaker B: No music. Yeah.

Speaker A: Honestly.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: The music's whenever like you can. You can control that. But I think every time. Yeah, every time you pop the hammer in and out and it just does that like. Yeah, a party sound with a little bit of confetti.

Speaker B: You're a magician.

Speaker C: And the confetti launches.

Speaker D: I will.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: You can like super jump rocket blast.

Speaker E: Yourself so much.

Speaker B: Perfect for bailing guy.

Speaker D: Assuming it doesn't damage you see.

Speaker B: Good.

Speaker D: News and bad news.

Speaker C: Probably drawing off to the sides. Like do we take these nine people down with us further? Do we try and protect them to get out? Because there's still might be clowns in the area.

Speaker D: They won't be able to go down. Do we completely kill them poles?

Speaker C: Do we completely wig him out? And selling some skeleton protectors.

Speaker E: How many people can we teleport back?

Speaker D: Anything in a 10 by 10.

Speaker B: Can do that.

Speaker D: I could talk to my sister, tell one of them the ring and then we have to manually go back.

Speaker A: Might have to do that all. I guess I can take the ring.

Speaker B: And go back.

Speaker D: Without you or whatever's down below.

Speaker B: What condition are they in?

Speaker C: Can they just stay here?

Speaker D: They could but be back.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker E: We don't know.

Speaker D: But it could be clowns or spirits or.

Speaker A: Yeah, they're. They're. I say they're like, stable, but they're still all wounded, so they're like. They're pretty much defenseless. They can probably travel.

Speaker E: I think we trust Ollie than going back with them.

Speaker B: What's that?

Speaker E: I think we trust Ollie going back. Trust like trust Ollie taking them back with the ring. Back to brave landing.

Speaker D: Because we can pre tell.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: Rolla that they're coming and so it's not like anybody's running away.

Speaker B: Yep.

Speaker D: But if we want ol be with us, I can just give to the ring to one of the people and.

Speaker B: Have them.

Speaker D: Just tell to collect the.

Speaker C: Just takes us a little longer to get down from where we're going.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: I just. I just don't want to lose Ollie in the.

Speaker C: That's why I. I broached the idea as far as like, how do we want to protect these people? He said, hey, you're saved. Walk up the stairs. Very, very quiet. There's more prisoners below.

Speaker D: Question 2.

Speaker B: What if we just leave Ollie with.

Speaker C: Them for now here and then we.

Speaker B: Go check out below, maybe evaluate it.

Speaker C: Then we can come back or keep going without him.

Speaker D: Tell Ollie if you hear a bunch of noise down below, I'm open.

Speaker C: That's why I broach the idea of skeleton projectors. You got enough bodies.

Speaker D: That's true. That's true.

Speaker C: But it Survivors would probably severely wigged out after their clown experience at the.

Speaker D: I would just tell them this is happening to them. Skeleton protectors would be pretty good. I mean, how good are they?

Speaker C: Oh, it's by time better than nothing.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: So after fighting the clowns, they would just run through them without an issue.

Speaker D: They would run through the skeleton.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: At least if the ones that you fought before that when the skeletons aren't great, they combined.

Speaker B: Yeah, they're good lane runners. I'm open. Guess.

Speaker C: Take them with us and protect them, then everybody take out at the same time.

Speaker D: I just don't know that we can.

Speaker E: Nine people, though.

Speaker B: How many tight are these? Cor?

Speaker C: We don't know if there's more down below.

Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.

Speaker D: Well, like, if there's a clown blowing confetti at nine wounded prisoners. It'll kill them all.

Speaker C: That's why I don't think I should come down. I think it's safe for here.

Speaker B: But not totally safe.

Speaker D: Well either I guess. If I gave them the ring, would they be able to use it or would that be not something an average.

Speaker A: Person would be able to do? That should be very unlikely that any of these people.

Speaker D: So we have to set someone back. This is the fox, the cabbage and the wolf.

Speaker C: So while we're discussing this, I start a fire in the middle to warm up some rations, rest a little bit. For what it's worth while we're trying to sight it's because it is early evening and we'll probably be full strength going down.

Speaker D: Well as a doctor they're not fighting anyone. They could wait for a while.

Speaker B: But.

Speaker D: We either need to have someone like all he said in the back over short firepower or we take the chances. But if we have any more that we find, we'll have to cash this point. We'll have to travel back with it with us.

Speaker C: Let's ask some other survivors. Is there anybody else that they know of?

Speaker A: No, they. They don't.

Speaker B: Do you know what's below or.

Speaker C: Or were they black hooded and how.

Speaker E: Far down north goes or how many floors?

Speaker B: No, they don't.

Speaker A: I said they. Yeah, they wouldn't. They would. They don't.

Speaker B: No.

Speaker A: If there's more people out anywhere else like this is. Let's say they were. They would have been. We're all from like the same I guess like caravan or traveling group.

Speaker D: Just assume that we're going to empty the rest of this place.

Speaker B: If we find anybody they're probably going to be on their own.

Speaker D: But this group probably can't leave them alone.

Speaker A: Yeah. As the as doctor would read, these.

Speaker B: People.

Speaker A: Are barely travel condition let alone like a fighting condition is definitely.

Speaker D: Do we mind losing Ollie then?

Speaker B: I think we have to.

Speaker D: And how long did it take to get here?

Speaker A: It's here four days I think. You guys rode horses here.

Speaker B: And then.

Speaker E: We had the pack some like around here.

Speaker B: The what? Well they're.

Speaker D: They're in the area.

Speaker B: Yeah. Oh back that pack.

Speaker D: I was wondering if we have any kind of other teleportation abilities. See this is what having both of those two of them built would be amazing.

Speaker C: Hey, if I reach out to the pack dot, how far away are they?

Speaker D: Yeah or just protection.

Speaker C: There's going to be trauma no matter.

Speaker D: How you do this.

Speaker B: They.

Speaker A: You hear from not look who actually I guess you would hear Director.

Speaker B: Because That's who you talk to that.

Speaker A: There'S a few of them. Like I guess he goes. You just be like, how good? Like or like dust.

Speaker B: Know what we need?

Speaker C: What I'm thinking at the moment is we teleport them all. He goes with to get in there. She has to ring. And then she catches you right back. Because the hounds covers speed distance a whole lot bigger than horses.

Speaker D: So at least we can meet her part way on the way back.

Speaker E: Unless we're down here for a while.

Speaker B: We don't know.

Speaker D: And then she shows up. No, there's reinforcement.

Speaker A: You are roughly like 90 miles away from braves.

Speaker C: And I think the. The hounds are about twice the speed of a horse.

Speaker A: I think they are 40. So there's. It's like two and a half days for them.

Speaker B: Double check. Double check that.

Speaker D: Send it all back.

Speaker A: Yeah, they do 40 miles a day.

Speaker E: That's the plan.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker C: And then have a hound meet her there.

Speaker E: Unless she can teleport herself.

Speaker C: She has now that she's been here before.

Speaker B: Can't she? Yeah.

Speaker A: Honestly, no. She doesn't do teleportation.

Speaker D: I'd ask her if she could cause a skeleton to use the ring.

Speaker B: You know, bummer.

Speaker D: Who might take the ring off. And you'll have to take this to town. And then I might connect with sister. Just let her know that we're going.

Speaker B: To send some ludic back.

Speaker C: Then I'd reach out for the quickest hell to meter a brave landing.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: So it would be late.

Speaker B: It'll be weighted.

Speaker A: I said yeah, there'd be one there.

Speaker B: They might be hidden at night.

Speaker C: I have a feeling that their speed is not hard set.

Speaker B: It would depend on how.

Speaker C: And Ollie might enjoy your backup.

Speaker B: How does Ollie feel about this?

Speaker C: Conjecture.

Speaker A: She'll look forward. She's looking forward to a ride.

Speaker D: Doc would take any of the more intact bodies and move them over like.

Speaker B: In a row.

Speaker D: Just to not leave them here so they can get teleported back with whatever I could fit in the tent. Plus some of these people, probably those might be loved ones. So they can go bury him or whatever. I tell them that you have a home and he's landing. If you want to stay there.

Speaker C: That'S a gentle way.

Speaker D: So if this person's trusted.

Speaker A: Yeah, So I guess a guy named Clayton. Those who you'd be interacting with. He's kind of the leader of the survivors. Mid 40s, tan eyes and he talks like a pirate. I see black hair.

Speaker D: I said they'll meet somebody named Rolla. Do whatever she says.

Speaker C: You'll live longer.

Speaker B: Yeah, I don't.

Speaker D: I leave that part out.

Speaker B: But I thank you much. We'll repay you on. We're not worried about that.

Speaker D: Just good people in our town. Contribute, participate, Find it a good place.

Speaker A: And he's just like super thankful. Yeah, you hear. Get thanks from thank yous from other people.

Speaker B: You know, I think roll it through.

Speaker D: Says nothing personal. We'll definitely miss you. Wish us luck.

Speaker B: I'll be back soon enough. I want to know what's happening so.

Speaker D: We get back even faster.

Speaker C: For our next teleportation device, we need a time function. Press the button, you have like 10 seconds and it sets off like the.

Speaker D: The omega 13. You go back in time 13 seconds.

Speaker C: Oh, not so much to send a button for your ring. You'd hit the stone. Got 10 seconds till whatever's in that 10 foot.

Speaker D: Oh, it's like a minute, I think.

Speaker C: Oh, a minute. But you keep the ring. You could stand on the outside.

Speaker D: Oh, I pull it out.

Speaker B: That would cool. I remote trigger.

Speaker C: Or a feature that would save the last place you teleported from and send you back. Scroll, tap one.

Speaker D: But maybe we'll have options if we can use it.

Speaker C: Yes, these are features. These are features.

Speaker E: We got elder right now.

Speaker D: Or have a box with multiple rings linked to it. Yeah, anybody could teleport back to it.

Speaker B: They have it.

Speaker C: That might be easier to make the.

Speaker B: Rings than to do a whole teleporting.

Speaker D: At least we get two boxes and.

Speaker B: Go back and forth.

Speaker D: It's gonna be like Green Lantern.

Speaker C: Every color.

Speaker B: Yeah. Cool.

Speaker D: We managed to solve that problem.

Speaker B: Ten minutes.

Speaker E: All good.

Speaker C: There's fun playing tonight.

Speaker B: Did we learn something new about.

Speaker D: I learned something about myself.

Speaker E: Want to rest, Simpsons.

Speaker D: That's up to you guys.

Speaker B: Oh, I'm good.

Speaker D: If you need it.

Speaker E: I'm good.

Speaker D: You're the spell master. Do you need it?

Speaker E: Yeah.

Speaker B: Could I use it?

Speaker C: Yes. Do I need it? I can push on.

Speaker B: That's how I feel. Let's go, man.

Speaker C: I'm only down by two for health, and I still have about half power for spells, so. Yeah, do them gently. And I don't do anything difficult like suck the shields off a glass.

Speaker D: How much downtime is required to regain arcane faith?

Speaker A: A night's rest that refills in the morning.

Speaker B: Essentially.

Speaker D: I have one faith left, but I only have two.

Speaker C: And we might find a better, safer spot. This is pretty open.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker E: I don't want to sleep in an arena.

Speaker C: Yeah, you don't want sleep in this clown torture train.

Speaker E: Clown couldn't come up here and see.

Speaker D: Shop rolled into the bar wire last night.

Speaker B: It was awkward.

Speaker C: It's consecrated barb wire. So it's self healing.

Speaker E: Sleep in the bar wire.

Speaker D: Very still.

Speaker B: Let's keep going then.

Speaker D: Where the chaos. That trap caused it. We electrified it.

Speaker B: Whirlwind it.

Speaker D: Consecrated it.

Speaker B: That was amazing.

Speaker C: There were no weapons nearby so.

Speaker B: Oh.

Speaker D: And we bumped it into the air with the spirit stack.

Speaker C: That's true.

Speaker D: It was a softer match in the arena.

Speaker C: They call that game a death ball.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: Only it's not space. It's just bleeds.

Speaker C: That was rolling derby.

Speaker B: Anyway. Yeah.

Speaker D: What was that old film? I think it's just rollerball.

Speaker E: And there's a. Yeah, there is a.

Speaker D: Movie called the 70s. I've never seen it.

Speaker C: I've only seen parts of it.

Speaker D: It's not pretty good.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: It lives up to its cheeks.

Speaker E: Movie.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: It's worth a B movie watch.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: Make some mystery science theater to it.

Speaker C: Just a little worse than running.

Speaker D: It's got remaking that kind of blinking out of his name from my dad. Gosh. He was an open range as one of the two Christians by him. No, an open range was the.

Speaker E: Oh, that's a different.

Speaker D: You can see his face. He can't remember his name.

Speaker A: Anyways.

Speaker D: He's one of the characters.

Speaker C: The name sounds familiar.

Speaker D: Actually. I'm thinking of the wrong guy. Rollerball is James Con. But I haven't seen. I was thinking that it was.

Speaker B: Robert Duvall.

Speaker D: I feel better.

Speaker B: I know.

Speaker C: OCD it is.

Speaker D: Wake me up at 2 in the morning.

Speaker B: All right.

Speaker D: Wanna head down.

Speaker B: As far as I know. Yeah.

Speaker A: So as you guys start walking, it's kind of like a. A spiral staircase and it just feels like old and ancient. And as you're going down like the red like gas lamps start drawing up like every 15ft or whatever. And then as you're. You keep growing down. The ceiling goes from like brick to like these like square grills that are probably like three, four feet across. They're like iron bars. And there's tons of skeleton remains hanging from the like stuck like they're like laid across up there. So sometimes there's like arm shrimps.

Speaker C: All the spirits are coming from.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker E: I think we found it.

Speaker C: We gotta do burn skeletons.

Speaker B: I remember.

Speaker E: Exorcism. I don't know.

Speaker C: And then exercise a little supernatural action. Salt and bone.

Speaker E: Holy dynamite. That's what we're.

Speaker B: Oh, holy.

Speaker C: In grenade.

Speaker D: Or if you could consecrate tnt.

Speaker B: Now that's the bomb that we use.

Speaker C: To destroy the portal.

Speaker E: Counts of three and only three.

Speaker B: To.

Speaker C: Two on your way to three.

Speaker E: Like 15, 20 years still.

Speaker D: I probably watched it with. That's what Katie said. She just went, huh.

Speaker A: So yeah, as you guys are descending in the ceiling transition through the walls, transition into this like strange black substance. It's kind of rubbery feeling.

Speaker B: I haven't touched it, so I don't know. Feels rubbery.

Speaker D: Just like running your hand at it.

Speaker B: Barely touches you.

Speaker C: What does it taste like?

Speaker D: I just look back. You're like dragging your tongue.

Speaker B: He's evil.

Speaker E: Oh, black licorice.

Speaker B: You say that's good.

Speaker E: In planning, ashes are tester like a kid. Hey, don't eat that one already in their mouth.

Speaker D: When you say it's rubbery, I just like like does it feel evil?

Speaker E: And then.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: And then as you near the I guess the bottom, as you've like made your way down like like 50 foot of elevation worth of stairs you've gone down, you hit like the floor landing. And this is kind of like where all this transitioning happens for the ceiling and the. The floor. Oh, all right. The walls and the floor is. There's just tons that's just like covered with like stone rollers about 6 inch diameter, about 2 foot long. And so the floor is kind of sketch to walk on because it's all just with rollers.

Speaker E: This is a fun outside of these the players. That's how I think. Jock doesn't know this. I don't think phone houses really exist today.

Speaker C: I can see a circus.

Speaker B: Around. Weird.

Speaker E: It's weird.

Speaker C: Can you see is it like a. A hallway that's just rollers so you got to get to the other side or is it like a large space.

Speaker A: And there's where you're at it. It's kind of like a hallway that's like maybe like 12ish feet wide. And at the end of it it's only like a 10 foot roughly like a 10 foot square room that's in here. And then at the end of that is a pair of brass doors that basically take up from floor to ceiling the wall.

Speaker B: And then.

Speaker A: Carved into those doors is something looks very similar to like what Ramsey's like drew in the the dirt or sand for you guys when she was conducting her ritual. I guess you would have actually probably done one for you guys before you left. This one too.

Speaker E: Well, I'm wrong, right?

Speaker C: So we just go open the door, right.

Speaker E: Audrey has all.

Speaker C: Oh, Audrey was just thinking a little like this could be fun. Just run and like skate across the top.

Speaker B: I'll give it a shot.

Speaker C: I. I'm thinking ten foot. How high is the ceiling? Is it still coming down, this boat?

Speaker A: Yeah, the room, it's roughly like 10 by 10. Like even looks just like a 10 by 10 cube.

Speaker C: We're back and the hammer is playing music again.

Speaker B: Like judging it.

Speaker C: That's how we recognize the progress of possession.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker E: Crazy hair, big old afro hair. Bright red. Her turn white.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: Either you or I, but we want to have somebody, whoever does take a rope. If the door's got brass handles, maybe tied to the handle just. Just to be safe. So you want to skate across or you want me to?

Speaker B: Either way. You seem like you want to do it. I think you should go for it.

Speaker C: So I grab it, I get a running start. Just, you know, kind of one, one heel down. Give me a healing my way across.

Speaker A: Get some agility.

Speaker B: Oh boy.

Speaker D: If you were actually wearing Heelys, I think it would be a minus one. You get a penalty to item Sound edition.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Come on.

Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker E: So you just get across exactly how you described yourself right up to the door.

Speaker A: And there's probably like, like a little short landing before the doors. So you're not all the way on rollers. Yeah, I'll say. There's like a foot. There's probably like a foot ledge like around the entire room.

Speaker C: I tied the rope off the. To one of the handles and.

Speaker A: Yeah, they're like the big legs, like big rings. They're.

Speaker C: Is it a good anchor if it is?

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: No, you get like they're. It's like solid like that. You go to lift the ring, it feels like it's just solid brass.

Speaker D: Look at the size of those.

Speaker B: Was it. Was it.

Speaker E: I think it's.

Speaker D: Yeah, yeah. Sorry. George Wilder had. What's her name? Anyways.

Speaker B: I haven't seen that movie forever.

Speaker D: He just said he's holding the woman. He says, look at the size of those knockers. He's looking at the door and there's two massive rings on the throne. Anytime I hear somebody adore the massive rings, I think of that movie.

Speaker B: Stop.

Speaker D: Crazy.

Speaker B: I know who you're talking about. Blonde.

Speaker D: Yeah, sorry. I'm not going to get us distracted with more nails.

Speaker C: So I, I anchor the rope there. So if anybody feels unsure that.

Speaker B: Pull costume.

Speaker D: Slide across the outside has a lip all the way around.

Speaker A: Yeah, it's like a foot wide.

Speaker B: When in Rome.

Speaker E: Might as well use this.

Speaker B: Yeah. And here.

Speaker A: And like as you rolled across it, like easy enough, it was like smooth and you could tell like if you're trying to like move around. Definitely like trying maneuvering or like changing direction quickly that it would be very challenging or impossible. They're very smooth rollers.

Speaker C: Ice melts. Rollers are forever.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: So yeah.

Speaker B: 12. Yeah.

Speaker E: Easy slide across.

Speaker C: That's the most fun I've had.

Speaker E: And go back and do it again. We'll find the slide now.

Speaker D: No, no slides.

Speaker E: Have to take the slide if you're in a dungeon. Pathfinder. We found a slide in a big tower and it was like. Well, we have to.

Speaker B: Yeah. We skipped a few.

Speaker E: Few floors on of floors.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker B: Of course.

Speaker C: The portal was rather ominous.

Speaker E: Gotta go down the slide.

Speaker B: Yep.

Speaker A: So I guess what's. Cash, are you sliding across to her?

Speaker C: I'll just yell good hit and then.

Speaker B: Confetti my way across. All right. Yeah.

Speaker A: You give me an agility roll.

Speaker D: Just a seven. Eight, I guess.

Speaker B: Yeah. You.

Speaker A: Yeah, you. You're not used to them yet. So you actually clear and then hit the. Like bounce off the doors and land on your butt.

Speaker B: You still got properties. Yeah. Some poor cow.

Speaker E: Too much juice there.

Speaker C: Wow.

Speaker B: You know, that was too hard. Too hard. Yep.

Speaker A: So you guys are in front of these 10 by 10 heavy brass doors.

Speaker C: Let's open the door.

Speaker B: My rifle. Yep. Get ready. I open it. All right. Yep.

Speaker A: As you. As you're pushing one, you're pushing the door open and see that there is like the same lights are in the room. And as you're.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: As you're opening the door, you can see it's lit by the same like red lamps. And at the. I guess in the far back room, it's a.

Speaker E: It's a large.

Speaker A: A very large room, like 30, 40ft deep. And it looks like a cathedral. As you're pushing it open, there's old like pews. A lot of them are like rotted and broken. And then at the far. At the far side, like, you catch the like the glint of like a massive gold statue. And it looks like. I guess it looks like a. Like a coiled up like gold dragon that's kind of like standing up, I guess not coiled up, but standing like up on its like, hind legs. And it's like wings reach out across the. And touch like, I guess the other sides of the walls.

Speaker D: Would I recognize it from any of my discussions with Ramses about deities or beings?

Speaker B: Probably not. I don't.

Speaker A: But you do see like on like besides the door, but like on some of the walls and like there's actually like some, I guess stained glass that has. That's like lit from behind that has like symbols. The, like the similar symbols More like designed in the glass and. And it looks like there's like almost like. Like story panels like done in the same glass.

Speaker B: What is this place they worship this day?

Speaker D: Church cleanse.

Speaker C: You said that the door had a similar. Was there any other writing?

Speaker B: No.

Speaker A: And I. I think from. With. With some with your. I guess your. The training that you've been doing over the year that like and I. And being around probably Ramsey some but mostly from Holly that. That the symbol is on there are not quite runic, but they kind of have a similar or I guess.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: It's a. It would. You'd surmise that it's like a dialect of runes but insanely like very complex.

Speaker C: Creates that symbol before going in the room.

Speaker D: And then my focus would be on the story panels.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: So as you guys make your way.

Speaker B: In there, you can get the statue.

Speaker E: Out and put it in briefly.

Speaker C: Would that fit in a ten foot.

Speaker D: Yeah, good question.

Speaker A: As you guys make your way in there, you hear rustling from like one of the like a side door. And then you hear like this high pit, like kind of like a high like squeaky voice or voices. And then like behind up hue you see like 17 like almost like little gnome caps. But they glint like deep red. Like they're wet. And you.

Speaker C: Red caps.

Speaker A: You hear them like rushing. And then you see a couple of them like jump like on top of the pew thing. And they're just like. And they're like these three foot think of like, I guess like creepy goblins like looking for you. And they have like. They have like.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: They have like razor claws and very like sharp teeth in their little beady like blood red eyes. They're just brushing at you.

Speaker E: I don't think go to work should.

Speaker A: Give me any priority roles. Just actually, you know, even if you fail, you still act first. So it doesn't matter.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: So don't even worry about it. No priority roll. So you guys can just go first and they will be like on top of you next on their turn.

Speaker B: They'll be able to run up to you still have my.

Speaker A: It's true. Good stuff.

Speaker B: Your gun oil 13. Yeah.

Speaker A: You just need a nine or better to hit.

Speaker D: Six damage to step right.

Speaker A: No, it added for damage. It was a bonus. It was an advantage.

Speaker E: Oh, that's right.

Speaker B: That's what it is. Yeah.

Speaker A: We basically got her to scale.

Speaker B: Yeah. All right.

Speaker D: So I pick one that's like running across the. Horrifically running across the tops of the pews and do six damage to it with the old. Right.

Speaker B: All right.

Speaker A: He explodes.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: He run up to one?

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Did you get nine or better?

Speaker B: Yep.

Speaker D: That's nine damage.

Speaker A: That guy's just. That guy.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: It actually, like, does look cartoony. He's just flat.

Speaker B: He don't see that every day.

Speaker E: I was gonna shoot two of them.

Speaker A: All.

Speaker D: Right, so you need double six there.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker E: Are they rabble?

Speaker A: They are rabble, but these are your only hero points until you're done with this place down here. This is officially a new adventure.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: So you guys should have vault one.

Speaker E: Took five and no one took four.

Speaker A: Their dust.

Speaker E: That was two of you killed.

Speaker C: You feel a breeze come behind your back?

Speaker D: I was like.

Speaker C: And you just hear a clap. I'm using the same playing card to just blow them all back.

Speaker B: They are late.

Speaker A: All right, let me see. I will. Let's see how many are left.

Speaker B: There's 13 of them. I'll do, actually.

Speaker C: So it's not so much a whirlwind around there.

Speaker A: It's focused on them.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Okay, let's see if any. Let's see. I'll do a couple.

Speaker B: No.

Speaker A: Oh, those guys crypt successes. So you, like, blew away half of them. Like, half of them are just scattered and won't be able to get to you guys, but the other half will be able to reach. Reach you this round. So six of them will be on top of you guys. And he blew six of them away. They'll. They'll be back around. They'll come back next round or avoid the whirlwind.

Speaker D: So, yeah, proper bottlenecks. That's useful.

Speaker A: Yeah, he scattered half of them, and then the other half are, like, were able to maintain their grip on stuff. All right, so love to see one.

Speaker C: Like, fly back and the cat acts like a nail and you just stuck.

Speaker A: All right, so I'm just going to do.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Walk through each of you guys.

Speaker B: Nope.

Speaker A: All right, so, Doc, one Mrs. Audrey.

Speaker B: Is saying.

Speaker A: Cash is definitely safe, and then.

Speaker B: Yep.

Speaker A: Jeez. Yeah, so, yeah, the wind, like, disoriented them some, so they all, like, jumped at you guys or, like, climb. But you were able to dodge all of them. So we're back around to you guys.

Speaker D: Jinxed another one near my feet.

Speaker B: I definitely hit him.

Speaker D: For seven damage. Oh, put the gun to his top of his head. Yeah.

Speaker E: I'll aim for two again.

Speaker B: Thirteen. Terrible.

Speaker E: Two and one.

Speaker B: Sold one. Yep.

Speaker A: See? Splat one and win one.

Speaker B: Welcome to the carnival, baby.

Speaker D: You actually say that?

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: Doc would actually snort. David should find that funny.

Speaker E: After we just saw.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: Little levity.

Speaker C: I'm laughing at this. And I take the crossbow out and I try and pick one off to share in pain.

Speaker A: I would say Cash, too. You do get, like, little shivers of pleasure when you've smashed the last one. And you're not sure if it's you or the hammer.

Speaker E: That was nice.

Speaker A: Or excited, but. Yep, that hit.

Speaker C: Five for damage.

Speaker B: Yep. The other one.

Speaker C: So it's like a comic.

Speaker B: Just boom. Yeah, he probably.

Speaker A: That guy probably burst into flame and falls over and is burning.

Speaker B: Let's see.

Speaker E: Hopefully no cave troll.

Speaker D: That's right. He'll only be six foot tall.

Speaker A: Yeah, that's true.

Speaker C: That's what fire is for.

Speaker A: Let's see. Okay, so I'm just gonna roll to see which groups. Okay.

Speaker E: So Jock and Audrey are being attacked.

Speaker A: And the third group is attacking Cash.

Speaker B: Okay. No love from Doc?

Speaker A: Nope, not this time. All right, so this will be the task. Audrey.

Speaker B: Seven. Ten hit you.

Speaker A: Actually, no, it's a nine. No, your defenses. What's your. Okay, so that would. That'd be minus. Yeah.

Speaker B: So.

Speaker A: Nope, you're safe. All right, Attacking cash. That's a 10.

Speaker B: That all.

Speaker A: That misses you, doesn't.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker A: Yeah, that definitely misses.

Speaker B: Yep.

Speaker A: See, they're like, guys are dodging and.

Speaker E: Weaving, these little murder hobos.

Speaker D: Only for three damage.

Speaker C: Seven for me.

Speaker B: Seven damage.

Speaker E: Splats two take four damage each.

Speaker A: That's the last.

Speaker C: Are there anyone.

Speaker A: There's five left. There was 17 total.

Speaker C: Are they grouped together or are they.

Speaker A: They're all around you guys. Yeah. So, like, the only reason he's getting two is because he's dual building.

Speaker E: Yeah.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: But no, no, Like, I guess. What are you trying to do? Like, that's a better way to.

Speaker C: Well, if they're grouped together, I try to. Giant bear trap.

Speaker B: Watch.

Speaker D: They're all around.

Speaker A: They're. They're all around you guys. So if you winded, you'd be winding all of you as well.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: Which I don't want to do trash.

Speaker E: And be a big old kunk ball on there. What's that wire?

Speaker B: M.

Speaker C: Oh, that would have been crazy at the beginning.

Speaker D: All the peas are getting shredded splinters everywhere.

Speaker E: Only have one left and see if.

Speaker B: There'S that many left.

Speaker D: Useful, though.

Speaker A: Yeah, There's. Yeah, there's five, and they're just all. It's. It's melee.

Speaker C: Then I'll aim to hit them or cross.

Speaker E: All right.

Speaker B: Yep.

Speaker A: That hits four.

Speaker C: Four.

Speaker A: Four. That splats one.

Speaker B: Nice.

Speaker A: All right, there's four left.

Speaker B: Actually.

Speaker A: Let's see.

Speaker D: They're all going to attack one person.

Speaker A: That's not A valid player.

Speaker E: Okay, that's Cash the Hammer.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Dodging and blocking.

Speaker B: You guys are up.

Speaker E: How many are left?

Speaker A: There's four left.

Speaker E: Oh.

Speaker D: Baron for five Damage on one.

Speaker B: Yep, yep.

Speaker D: Eat on another one.

Speaker B: Yep. To that level.

Speaker E: Fours on.

Speaker B: Yep, yep.

Speaker A: They're. They are all gone. There's a splattered red cap.

Speaker E: Goblins.

Speaker A: That's it.

Speaker E: Kind of look like that baby vampire we saw once a long time ago, but these are much easier.

Speaker D: Sadly lying. If I said I didn't have flashbacks.

Speaker C: Figured I'd shoot first, ask questions later.

Speaker B: Okay, let's do that A little bit more. It doesn't feel invented.

Speaker A: This is for you guys.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: So as you're. As you. After combat.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: When you, like, look at those little goblins more you. I guess you would have smelled the blood as they came out too, but. Yeah, like, dog. You, like, instantly, like. Like, their hats were soaked in blood.

Speaker D: I have to burn those places to grouse.

Speaker B: And then. Oh, yeah.

Speaker C: It be like, where'd they get the blade?

Speaker B: Maybe the clowns.

Speaker C: Maybe all the people they were torturing.

Speaker B: I don't know.

Speaker D: Well, Ollie was talking about blood magic. And that's what you found on Jiggles, right?

Speaker B: Not part of it.

Speaker C: I'm just looking at creatures under here and wondering what else we'll run into. They might be cannibalistic or. For all I know, they open up a vein for decoration.

Speaker D: So did they just pop up from everywhere or just the side room?

Speaker A: No, there was like, a. Like, a little side room there. Well, you see, like, there's a door, like a side. Like a little. Like a priest door, where, you know, kind of like a. Just like. Just a side room on this cathedral.

Speaker D: Should take a peek in there. They came from there. And see if we can kill whatever source they came from. So we're even dealing with more of those critters.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: It looks like that's the only way out. I'd be curious to see if there's anything with that dragon up front.

Speaker D: I just want to know if there's anything producing those things.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: You play gauntlet.

Speaker B: Yes.

Speaker A: You go into the room, and as you're approaching that room, like, that iron, that heavy iron blood smell, it just gets very thick and dense, like, smelling. And you get in there and. And there's. It looks like, like a nest. So, like, there's, like, Betty. Like, little, like, nests or beds in there, and they're like. And then, like, there's, like, several, like, barrels. That looks like it's just, like, coagulated, like, somewhat coagulated. Blood.

Speaker D: Set fire.

Speaker E: But we're down below on our way up.

Speaker D: Is there anything else in here? Is it just.

Speaker A: Yeah, there's like. You can see there's like remnants. It kind of looks like it might have been like a little office. Like there's remnants of like a desk and like some broken shelves and that.

Speaker B: Kind of stuff, but nothing useful. Yeah. What is this place? How old is this place?

Speaker D: Is there any other exits out of this room?

Speaker A: Out of this room? Just like a little soft, I would say.

Speaker D: I'm going to pull the doors shut and then did the doors open into the room or not?

Speaker A: However you want.

Speaker B: I want them to open out. Yeah.

Speaker A: That's how.

Speaker D: I don't want to like push a bunch of crap in front of the door and just be like, we don't need anything to open this right now. That's the one where critters to come.

Speaker C: Out of that, light it on fire, prevent a backdraft.

Speaker D: I just think. Oh no, I'm saying I don't think we could light it on fire down here while we're down here because it would be like smoke.

Speaker B: Who knows?

Speaker D: It just lights the whole place on fire. Unless you go, you guys want to do that and see where it goes. Otherwise lighter for.

Speaker B: What's that?

Speaker E: I have my lighter for feel.

Speaker B: So.

Speaker D: Are we trying to burn this.

Speaker E: Or are we just going to barricade it?

Speaker B: I'm going to barricade it. You guys will change the door closed.

Speaker D: Just move some.

Speaker C: If there are monsters to be born in the nest.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: Move some pews and grab a.

Speaker B: Brilliant.

Speaker A: Yeah, that's not a big. A big deal to do.

Speaker B: Yeah. Give me a moment.

Speaker A: I can actually show you what the statue is.

Speaker D: If there's any like rope cords for.

Speaker B: Like.

Speaker D: That in the room that can be used to hold the door shut. Tie that off too.

Speaker C: The door is coming into the chapel area. Were sold at. How good are the doors going into the office if the pews are like ancient, rotting.

Speaker A: The door is. I'd say it's a brass door too. And it has like that same symbol on the front that looks similar to what Ramses draws on the ground.

Speaker B: Oh, okay.

Speaker A: Same. Yeah, same with. I mean same with the big door you. And the same with like the. Some of the. The massive like probably like 20 foot tall, 10 foot wide, stainless stained windows.

Speaker D: Like is this like Mithra stuff?

Speaker A: It looks like that. Yeah.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Because I guess. Did you guys.

Speaker D: Yeah, we would have talked a little bit about that.

Speaker B: Yes.

Speaker A: Yeah, that's. Yeah, that's true.

Speaker B: But.

Speaker D: But the dragon would not be familiar.

Speaker A: No.

Speaker C: You'd be reading the story panels and.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: Try and piece together with the dragon thing.

Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.

Speaker D: Once the door is shut, I would definitely be checking that out.

Speaker A: This is what the statue looks like, except its wings are outstretched. Kind of like touch both the sides and like cash, you would immediately know that thing is just made out of, like, solid gold.

Speaker C: Is in nice baggy.

Speaker E: Gotta get back to bracelet.

Speaker A: And like, I guess there might be. There probably would maybe be some, like, ancient lore stories. It's like that might be with some dragons, but I'm not sure how much like, I guess your characters would know what that is.

Speaker D: I've been going through the windows for story.

Speaker C: Some sort of demon, huh?

Speaker D: Maybe it might be a good thing. Doesn't look evil. This place does, but it doesn't.

Speaker C: It's red eye people.

Speaker B: Sound the blood.

Speaker D: On it for this place and that.

Speaker A: I guess that's like, one thing too that you would notice is there's like, no dust decay. It's like, in pristine condition.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: So why don't you give me a mind role with your. But also with your creature for you. And then probably just if you're. If Audrey's looking at it, it's probably just a flat mind gonna.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: So as you're, like, looking through.

Speaker B: At.

Speaker A: These panels, the gist of, like, what.

Speaker B: You get.

Speaker A: I guess, is that this dragon, Mithras, arrived at Sabakola, like, a thousand years ago after it was fighting, like, I guess one of the panels would show, like, this gold dragon, and then like, this black, like, void dragon they're fighting. And then you see. Then it shows, like, Mithras fleeing, arrives at a planet. And then you see him, like, crash into the mountains. And then the top start to glow, which you guys would kind of piece together that. That's likely the piece of light that the Fortress of light is built under or in. I guess it would be more accurate. And then as docs gone by on.

Speaker D: These stories, he's had to have his, like, doctor's notebook out on pages. He's like, sketching what he sees, like, panel by panel recreations as much as he can.

Speaker A: And then I guess a little further down, it shows like, Mithras is wounded and tired.

Speaker B: And then.

Speaker A: There appears. It looks like a human starts attacking him. So they fight, and then Mithras eventually defeats that person, but now he's even more wounded, and he uses. You gather from the last of the. I guess the last of the last couple panels is Mithras Raises the veil over the planet to protect it. But more like hide from the other dragon.

Speaker B: And then.

Speaker A: Goes into like a hibernation and then also like enduring some of that resting. He shares knowledge with the humans that found him. Which is kind of like the birth of the church. And then like the start of this.

Speaker B: Golden.

Speaker A: Error that lasted about 800 years of like progress. But you guys would kind of be on. Are on the. The downturn of that error. I guess it was a couple ended about 200 years roughly before you guys existed.

Speaker B: Yeah. That. Yeah.

Speaker A: That's bad. That's what you gathered from these panels. I guess the. The human noid that he was fighting on the planet. It was a lot. It was a ma. It was a magic fight.

Speaker B: Yeah. And then you. Yeah.

Speaker A: And I guess one of the panels would show.

Speaker B: Then it just shuts down. The.

Speaker C: The human that was fighting the dragon. Are there any identifying markings? Audrey has a sinking suspicion.

Speaker B: But.

Speaker A: I would say there's a staff in his hand that looks very familiar.

Speaker B: What does that mean?

Speaker D: That looks familiar. Does it look familiar to me or just.

Speaker A: I said yeah. All. All of you. But cash.

Speaker C: That's what I. That's kind of.

Speaker D: Ja knows who is it or you know who it is.

Speaker E: Ja knows who it is.

Speaker B: I'm pretty sure.

Speaker E: Not sure we want to let him out.

Speaker C: Be interesting. Definitely take down the powers.

Speaker E: Aimed it Ale.

Speaker B: Yeah. That.

Speaker C: The skeleton guy that cool gifts.

Speaker B: He's. Yeah.

Speaker A: He's the guy that gave you or.

Speaker C: Swimming with his pet gear.

Speaker B: Yeah. Oh okay.

Speaker D: The one that we're sending books to.

Speaker B: Okay. Sorry. Y. Yeah.

Speaker A: That's. Bony fingers grip the weathered staff.

Speaker B: Which.

Speaker A: That looks very familiar.

Speaker C: So Orin fought the dragon or fought Mithras the dragon. Mithras.

Speaker B: Mithras is a dragon.

Speaker C: That's pretty cool. You're a cool gun dog.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: There's a lot more to this story. I'd go up and investigate the statue a little bit.

Speaker E: Rocksman calculations in his journal how far he'd have to dig down and how big of a crane he would need.

Speaker A: You're probably around 100. 150ft underground.

Speaker B: See.

Speaker D: The real question is. But he said is Is it fit in a 10 by 10 space? Because you just teleport the thing out.

Speaker E: Can you do it as chunks? 10 by 10 chunks?

Speaker B: I don't know.

Speaker D: If the person's not totally in. Does it just teleport? It's just how.

Speaker A: I don't remember. I'd have to go look. I don't remember. I think we either. I think we either Establish it doesn't take it or it does take the piece.

Speaker B: Beasts.

Speaker A: So if your stuff is outside, you're out of luck.

Speaker C: I remember organic stuff was. You're either in or you're not.

Speaker B: I don't remember you.

Speaker D: I would assume that it's designed to take whatever you want that's in the space.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: And if it's not? I guess when. For an inanimate object, when is it? Because originally they had to be touching you.

Speaker A: Yeah, they do have to be like. Yeah, that's.

Speaker D: Yeah, I think we changed it to 10 by 10.

Speaker A: It's always been a 10 foot. 10 foot cube of stuff that you want to teleport.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker E: Have someone here and then, hey, I'm teleporting this.

Speaker A: We'll just say it doesn't take parts. It takes. Oh, yeah, no, it's. It's a minute channel. So yeah, you could, if you really wanted to, you could carve your way through stuff.

Speaker B: I guess.

Speaker E: This takes a really long time.

Speaker D: Everyone keep your hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times.

Speaker A: Yeah, we'll say. Yeah, we'll just say it. If you're not in the box, what's outside the box? If it's partly in the box, it's just.

Speaker B: It's just.

Speaker A: Just severed.

Speaker B: Okay. Like that scene. Yep.

Speaker C: Interesting colorization you have there.

Speaker D: I guess I would first go to the statue and like meditate in front of it. I look for writing first, but if not I would like kneel down and like start meditating as you would see.

Speaker A: I guess written on like the, like on like, I guess the. The base of this statue. And you'd be able to make out bits and pieces because it's all in Latin. So you probably didn't get to learn very much of that from Ramses in your time.

Speaker C: Is that the doctoral language in this world too? I mean, Latin is big for medical.

Speaker A: No, Latin is actually. Audrey would be able to read Latin because that's the. Assume your dad is a preacher who would have taught Audrey Latin. So you could probably read it. But now that's like the language of the, like the priest. That's like the divine language language of the church or whatever. And that's like whenever Ramses was casting or any g writers cast that speaking in Latin. Yeah, I think it would. I think it would probably just be kind of like says something similar. Like the sediment is like, like the Loved Mithras kind of like our guide or something like that. And then you, you would probably. You would actually get kind of like a comforting actual like, feel. And you guys might notice like a little bit of like a, A light shining on Doc as he's near, like, as he's approaching it. Yeah, I think you would probably actually.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: There. It's almost like the Doc wouldn't notice this, but per se, you'd feel. You'd feel more, but you guys would see like kind of like the. The movie theater, like spotlights. You see those like coming out of its eyes. It looks like it's coming out of his eyes and back of the panels.

Speaker C: Audrey's not sure if he wants to approach a dragon.

Speaker A: Yeah, I guess.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Your guys, I guess, got reactions too to like the. The dragon is like, that's the terrible beauty kind of feel you want to approach, but you're not sure you want to approach.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: And then as you guys have like exactly looked around the room and everything, you would have found there's two exits, I guess three technically. There's the one that leaves and then there's two that leaves that go elsewhere. And they're. They're sealed with. I guess sealed closed with the same brass doors with the Mithra symbol on it.

Speaker D: Doc's gonna reach out, he's gonna touch like one of the claws at the bottom of the statue and he's gonna ask for a blessing to cleans this.

Speaker B: Place.

Speaker D: That'S been made.

Speaker B: I don't know if that's a good thing.

Speaker D: I'd have to cast.

Speaker B: No, as.

Speaker A: As you reach out and like, as your intention is that whether you're like, I guess how. Like, I guess. Describe how dog. Like, I guess.

Speaker D: Well, he's feeling coming down in here is like he sees this cathedral full of blood and a dragon. Then he sees the story and realizes this is the being he's been like learning about and searching for. Finding is kind of rebuilt purpose in life potentially to become an even greater healer. And this place is just like foul with blood. And we just blew away a bunch of three foot bloody gnomes in a decrepit room that we just blocked off full of other people's blood. Like the place was just found. So he's like partially mad. He might even actually be like slightly weeping at the statue. So he's like just reaching out to him being like, help me end this place. He just cut a clown's face off. I mean, it's just like they're a.

Speaker A: Weird state right now.

Speaker D: He wants to burn this place from this guy if he could. And now he sees the statue. It's like, I don't know, it's Kind of put, like, reality to the stories a little bit, and seeing the stained glass and stuff, like, it's one thing to, like, learn it and be like, this sounds really interesting and there's something there, but now it's like, I'm, like.

Speaker B: Seeing it more concrete. So.

Speaker A: Yeah, I'd say as you, like, touch the statue, it's like, very, like, warm and comforting. Like a hug from a loved one that you've been away from for a while. And then as you're thinking this and kind of like dealing with this realization and this, I guess, desire to cleanse this place, you would see, like, when.

Speaker D: He starts feeling that you would see Don Quake takes his rifle off. He takes his pack down. He's just, like, playing in front of the statue with his arm down.

Speaker E: You.

Speaker A: Get a very weak and, like, strained whisper in your ear.

Speaker B: That.

Speaker E: Brings.

Speaker A: That's comforting and affirmation and I guess a blessing to walk down this path. But then also you get a plea for help. And you can sense that there's. That it was, I guess, trying or painful or strenuous to, like, whisper that to you. There's like, there's. There's pain behind the words. And not like. Not like emotional pain or whatever, but more of, like in distress, stressed, kind of feel like they're in trouble.

Speaker D: When that doctor feels like he sits up and he draws. He has a silver saber, and he draws it. Just lays it at the feet of the statue. And you just hear, doc, I'm coming for you. Like, he's, like, literally, like, crying while he's saying it. Leaves the saber there for a bit, like, puts his pack in, his gun back on.

Speaker A: I was going to say, as you go to pick your saber back up.

Speaker B: Oh.

Speaker A: You again. Through you, it's like, literally like someone's whispering your ear.

Speaker B: But it.

Speaker A: Be blessed. Find my children. They will help. And that will trigger a memory from Luna, because she used that phrase and I. Luna, she was the fortune teller.

Speaker B: Oh, yeah, yeah, that.

Speaker A: She used that phrase and also hand, tongue. And you're phrased specifically. Yeah, that phrase that we are children of.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker A: Like, him saying that find my children triggered that memory.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker A: Those memories of them saying that.

Speaker B: Gotcha. And then.

Speaker A: Your saber is no longer silver. The blade is, like, been changed to almost. It's almost. It's not quite translucent, but now it's, like, almost made out of light.

Speaker B: That's gold.

Speaker A: And you can add a D6 advantage to that.

Speaker C: Now, seeing a divine relic, and then.

Speaker A: Like, as you're holding it, you have that you feel that same, like, warm embrace and comfort.

Speaker B: Affirmation.

Speaker D: You guys see me, like, I'm still holding it. Like, eyes bright and turn around and just kind of look at Joy. I can see that I've, like, been crying. I just said.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: Find the children.

Speaker A: First.

Speaker D: We need to cure this place with this.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker D: There might be a mustache or two along the way. I grew a mustache.

Speaker B: I.

Speaker C: With mutations. I could see Cash growing the mustache, and then it kind of waves at.

Speaker D: You, then he sneezes, and it falls off.

Speaker B: All right, maybe the children are already here. Maybe they're imprisoned.

Speaker D: I know where two are, and they're not imprisoned.

Speaker B: Oh.

Speaker D: But there's probably a lot more.

Speaker B: Hopefully I'll be able to. What? I see me.

Speaker C: All right, let's go.

Speaker B: All right, which way? Left or right?

Speaker C: Are there any signs around the doors.

Speaker B: And where they go?

Speaker D: Are they basically identical?

Speaker A: No, they look. They're like, the same.

Speaker C: From where the doors are. Where's the dragon statue is? Here.

Speaker B: This is.

Speaker A: So this is just a.

Speaker C: Representation?

Speaker A: Yeah, I was gonna say whichever direction.

Speaker C: The dragon is facing, we'll walk towards that door.

Speaker A: Yeah, that's. That's just this. This is a. An abstracted map.

Speaker B: So the.

Speaker A: The boxes on here are just our locations. Kind of a point crawl, but a.

Speaker E: Directed point crawl, I guess.

Speaker A: So whichever door you would like to go.

Speaker D: Embrace the library.

Speaker B: That one.

Speaker E: Audrey and Dark Fleet.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: Dragon's facing. Facing towards that.

Speaker E: We're not all.

Speaker B: Here's my question, though. Doesn't he like orzine? And now he likes Mithras. And they were. Aren't they, like, fighting each other?

Speaker E: Hopefully, I think.

Speaker B: So we're just gonna overlook that. Right.

Speaker D: So there may be. There may be discussions that we need to have.

Speaker E: Mithras got off the mountain.

Speaker A: Right?

Speaker E: Or in the stained glass.

Speaker A: No, the, like, the last panels are him, like, curling up in the. In the mountains.

Speaker C: So Mithra is hibernating up in the.

Speaker E: Mountains or the church is that.

Speaker C: Well, that's where he came down. You don't know if that's where he is. It seems like he crawled back there.

Speaker B: According to that one. Yeah.

Speaker E: The church is built on. That's what Jock would say. According to these, it looks like.

Speaker C: So we just gotta mine them when.

Speaker E: The church is restraining them, because right now they don't like m. Doing their own.

Speaker B: Really.

Speaker D: There's an old guard and a new guard. Ramsay's part of the old guard. Yeah, but the new guard is something else. We're not sure.

Speaker A: They're, I think, loyal to the Trinity, which Is the leaders of the church.

Speaker E: They seem to be more converter die type people. Yeah.

Speaker B: Yes.

Speaker A: That's what you guys would do.

Speaker B: Oh boy.

Speaker E: We got a lot on our list to do.

Speaker D: I'm still learning right now. It's just information gathering.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: I promise I'd help you guys down so.

Speaker B: Much.

Speaker E: And you already helped me out.

Speaker B: Yeah, you already helped me too. Maybe last. Yeah.

Speaker C: Goes to take out the obl. One of them's down here.

Speaker B: Oh yeah.

Speaker D: We're gonna take out the portal at some point.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker E: The war and then probably help the war out or releasing Mithras from hope.

Speaker D: We're figuring out that Mithras is into the shape to help.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: Itching for a fight.

Speaker B: Which side of or behind herself.

Speaker D: Let me have questions for Orzine to say. Why were you fighting Mithras? Maybe Orzine was defending himself and did not know who Mithras was and thought Mistress was an invader. Maybe we ask the question and see what it says.

Speaker C: I mean who's this boy dragon too, right? That's the one Mithras really rivals with it seems like.

Speaker D: But Mithras is protecting our world from this being so it also is disconcerting that it's been 800 years and Mithras is still weak.

Speaker B: It.

Speaker A: Well it.

Speaker C: Over a thousand years.

Speaker A: It's been a thousand years. Yeah, there's eight. Basically 800 years of like golden age progress. And then the last 200 years it's stagnated.

Speaker E: I don't know if Jock would know this but when did the church start changing.

Speaker B: You?

Speaker D: Or maybe Ramsey's told us.

Speaker A: Yeah, I would say Ramses would have mentioned that. Like they started becoming more fanatical. Like even more in her during her time.

Speaker D: So fairly recent.

Speaker A: And you guys. I mean grew up like with the stories. Like the church hates the weird. Like it's trying to like kill them. Like kill. Stamp out all the weird control like information and stuff. And you guys have experienced that in your life and that part goes back.

Speaker B: Further.

Speaker A: But I'd say I don't. I don't think any of you would have done any research into that specifically yet. And there might be like Audrey might have some snippets since you grew up near the Whispering Marshes from the native, like from the tribal people. I'm just going to use that for lack of a better term native slash tribal. Because they're more like. I guess more like Native Americans. The Aztec, like Inca aboriginal, you know, with those kind of like.

Speaker C: And it is a place that's on my go to.

Speaker A: You Might have here. You might know some of, like, they're like legends.

Speaker B: Stuff.

Speaker A: And they're probably. I say you might know, like, want like, a one or two that talks about, like, the church.

Speaker B: Was helpful.

Speaker C: Theology going.

Speaker A: All right, so we going south or last here.

Speaker C: Guys feeling said they were.

Speaker D: Going in the way the dragon is looking.

Speaker C: So let's go.

Speaker A: I guess that's south.

Speaker B: Let's go. That's not the mark that I wanted.

Speaker E: Oh, that was weird doing this.

Speaker C: The three walls. That's a better blade than I thought it was.

Speaker B: No. So.

Speaker A: You guys. I'll just describe the room perfectly.

Speaker B: All right.

Speaker A: Yeah. So you guys start. You go through this, and you start walking through this hallway, and it's. It's same thing. Like, all the lighting and, like, the floors and stuff are that weird. Like, black rubber. One exception was, like, the cathedral was. Actually looks like it was, like, built out of, like, brass and gold and nice. Well rotted hard. Like a lot of, like, hardwood shoes and that kind of stuff. And you could tell that, like, it was at one point very beautiful.

Speaker C: What does the rubber do with your.

Speaker B: Blade.

Speaker C: If it's like a corruption that's kind of coated the walls?

Speaker D: Are you. Are you asking doctors specifically?

Speaker B: Yeah, just kind of touch it.

Speaker C: Does it squeal? Does it scream?

Speaker D: Does it take the blade out and like, put, like, the flat of it a little bit against the rubber?

Speaker A: It kind of like sizzles.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: I guess he would. I would cut it, like, put the point into it. Just kind of cut it to see if it, like, is organic.

Speaker A: It kind of like, as you, like, run your blade through it, it, like, cuts kind of like. Like blubber. Like, well, blubber kind of like. It's like that super dense, like, fat. It kind of parts, but then, like, as you go through it, it kind of just like seals back up.

Speaker D: I say gross, and I'm a doctor.

Speaker E: They go back on my sealer.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker E: Wound sealing.

Speaker D: I don't think my blade's doing that.

Speaker A: Oh, and here, like, this hallway, it's about 50ft long, but there's more like tapestry. These ones are kind of. These ones are, like, molded, and there's, like, blood stains and stuff on them. Like, sort of like cut and torn, but it's more kind of like Mithras stories or like some scriptures. And you start seeing. I guess Audrey would probably help translate some of these, but you actually find one that's kind of like the traits of light, and it lists some various things, and I'll actually DM those to you.

Speaker D: And then Definitely need to not torch this place. We need to come back and clean it up.

Speaker A: And then like. And then again like the ceilings. Actually now this area is. Yeah, now this area is just mostly like the hung tapestries that kind of like cover up the blubber. And then like the ceiling is kind of been. I guess there's. You can see that there used to be like canvases to like kind of COVID the. The skeletons and hanging from the bars and crap. And then like the floor is still like rollers and it's still mostly lit with the weird like gas looking lamps.

Speaker B: Kind of like the airport.

Speaker C: So it could be about its rollers. I take through the hulk cooker.

Speaker A: And then as you guys go down here through this area, you come to a T.

Speaker B: Actually.

Speaker A: I guess first you come to a set of brass doors and just walking through that you come into like this small like 10 by 10 room that is a T. And there's the brass doors you entered in north of you. And then you can go west through a set of brass doors. And again these have like the Mithra symbol on them. And same with the south.

Speaker B: But that is.

Speaker D: Yeah, they don't like rolls are the. Do the rollers look like they're made from the same weird material?

Speaker A: The rollers are stone. Stone rollers. And like I guess along the edge they're on each side down the hall and there's like the one foot track around like the edge of every room.

Speaker B: But I could be like use it.

Speaker C: To move big blocks or something.

Speaker B: I agree.

Speaker A: But they're still like eerily like free moving and out of the fire.

Speaker B: Last thing.

Speaker D: Maybe there's a mechanism that controls them that makes them.

Speaker B: Why would we have a conveyor belt type magnetic. Yeah.

Speaker D: Let's go west.

Speaker B: I go classic. Yeah.

Speaker A: As you open the. Open the doors you get kind of like kind of like a gust of like fresh air. Like kind of like. I guess not fresh air but like.

Speaker D: Cave fresher than what we've been.

Speaker A: Yeah, you get like, like a kind of like a gust of cave bear cool. Cooler than where you've been in right now. It's probably like 60 in here. Maybe a little warmer because of the gas lamps. So you get a little rest of cool air. And then before you is just as.

Speaker B: A.

Speaker A: Bridge that's about 50ft long, about 10ft wide. It's stonework over this chasm that just goes into nothingness. Arm down over the sides. This is like a large chasm. And then across the way you can see like the front like so the chasm's completely blocking. No, there's a bridge across the top.

Speaker D: The bridge is complete though.

Speaker A: Yeah, the bridge is still intact.

Speaker C: What sort of shape is the bridge in?

Speaker B: It's ominous.

Speaker A: It looks old, but it's made of stone and.

Speaker C: Oh, it's a stone bridge.

Speaker A: Yeah, it's a stone bridge. And it's got rollers on it.

Speaker C: Jones flashbacks.

Speaker D: Rope bridge.

Speaker E: Yeah.

Speaker B: Important. And all the rollers are functional. Yep.

Speaker C: Skating across.

Speaker E: Built this place. What it feels, I think.

Speaker B: No. Yeah.

Speaker A: So you guys traverse across and you come into another 10 by 10 room. Almost got three exits. North, west and south.

Speaker D: Continue the same direction. Texas Coast Street.

Speaker A: All right. Heading east.

Speaker E: Go east till you find it.

Speaker B: All right. What's that?

Speaker E: Go east till you find a wall.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker D: Gotta explore it also.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: So you guys start. You go through these doors and you can see about halfway through it looks like there is like a cave in. And along the. There's like some rubble and stuff that would make it bloss the way. But along the side there's like these vast release of like people. And they kind of look. They kind of have like some monstrous.

Speaker E: Features to like their face.

Speaker A: And they look like they're kind of like almost like Han Solo and the carbon or whatever kind of like trapped along there. You see like six of them. And then like the. It looks like there is a cave in or rubble or something has fallen down blocking the path. And then Cass, you could tell that you could dig through this if you wanted to. It does take some time equation.

Speaker B: There are other ways to go as well.

Speaker E: You guys feel pull in any direction?

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: Let's remember where that is in case.

Speaker D: We figure out and go where we can.

Speaker C: Yeah. We're going to have to explore our way out.

Speaker D: Nobody else has gone that direction. So let's go since we're here. If there's any clouds down here, let's take or mini gnomes of bloody doom.

Speaker B: Red. Yeah.

Speaker A: As you guys turn around to leave, the statues kind of like rip off. Kind of like stretch out from the wall and start trying to start plea. Fleeing for you. Pleading for you not to leave. Let us. Let us out or we'll not let you leave.

Speaker D: She said these were humanoid or they're monsters.

Speaker A: Monsters like they have like a monstrous looking face.

Speaker D: But just the statues.

Speaker A: Yeah, they're like. They're kind of like. They look like they're kind of like the Han Solo carbonite thing. But now they're like. They're like coming out.

Speaker B: How do I let you out? I don't know.

Speaker C: How to do that? What are you in here for anyway?

Speaker B: I'll take.

Speaker D: My sword out and I'm gonna actually just flat side touch it to the face. What I want, like, gently. I'm not like, swinging it and, like, touch the side of.

Speaker B: It.

Speaker A: Recoils. They all, like, hissing, scream at you, and they all, like, rip off the wall and come at you. Okay, so roll some initiative. These are. There's six of them.

Speaker B: Nine, Eight. Wait a minute.

Speaker C: It's just initiative.

Speaker B: You have to go.

Speaker A: It's your mind plus initiative.

Speaker C: Oh, mind plus initiative.

Speaker B: Yes. You do a lot better than I thought it. Because.

Speaker A: Surprising, I'll say that. And then just to, like, they start acting up, Doc draws his sword and they all, like, get super pissed. All right, so who got. We got more than nine or better.

Speaker B: Okay. You guys handle this? Yep.

Speaker E: We're gonna mine out the draft.

Speaker D: I'm gonna do a dumb thing, and.

Speaker C: Then you can figure out how to back me up.

Speaker B: Oh, good. That sounds awesome. Yeah.

Speaker D: Just because I have my sword out, I'm gonna try to do melee, which is, like, my worst thing.

Speaker E: You should have put your gun down there.

Speaker A: I'll say as you go to strike this thing. You've. You're in a very, like, calm, comforted state. So you have a bonus die.

Speaker D: I need a golden die. Do we have a yellow dye?

Speaker B: No. Okay. I don't have any.

Speaker E: There might be some black.

Speaker A: Yeah, just say the closest.

Speaker B: Well, it's not a D6. I don't have any.

Speaker E: Oh, here's one.

Speaker A: Oh, yeah, there you go. There's a golden D6.

Speaker D: Wait, I can't use any black dice, so we gotta go light here.

Speaker B: There we go.

Speaker D: Full light. I needed that. I just rolled triple threes, so that means I only have a seven.

Speaker B: All right.

Speaker A: Yeah, they. You'll need an 11 to 15.

Speaker B: Whoa.

Speaker C: Stuck in the wall.

Speaker A: No, they. They have come off. They're like. They come off the wall.

Speaker E: There you go. We got heroes. One.

Speaker B: All right.

Speaker D: Oh, this is going to be even worse first.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker D: Six, seven, eight, nine.

Speaker B: Have to have an 11. Yeah, you.

Speaker A: You'd add your strength and your.

Speaker D: Oh, that's right.

Speaker B: All right.

Speaker D: I'm spending points. I now have an 11.

Speaker B: All right.

Speaker D: And then damage is 2d6 plus 5 strength stays suck. I'm going to do it all either. That's the special there. So I'm gonna do 10 damage, so.

Speaker B: Sorry.

Speaker D: Nine damage. No, 10.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: How do you do this?

Speaker D: Am I hitting just one of them?

Speaker A: Yeah, you're just.

Speaker D: Yeah, so I touch that one to Its face. When they all pull out of the wall, I just kind of. From where I'm at, just kind of go right. Right through its neck and take its head off, maybe a slight trail as I, like, swing the sword.

Speaker B: Oh, yep.

Speaker A: As you do that, as its head is severed, it falls in its body. Like, it whole thing kind of, like, crumbles, and then, like, there's a black, like, entity, like, comes out of it and then evaporates with, like, this screech of agony. And you hear, like, curse you.

Speaker D: When I curse you. When I cut that off, I pulled the blade out to the others.

Speaker A: That's all I can do, right, actually.

Speaker D: Unless it's possible for me to cut through more than one if they're close together.

Speaker B: No, you.

Speaker A: I mean, you'd have to spend a hero point to make another attack if you want to do that or. But I will say with that, you can give me an appeal rule with your preacher career.

Speaker D: A little holy diamond. Just forgiveness.

Speaker B: 11.

Speaker D: I get the sense these are, like, actually foul creatures.

Speaker B: After you.

Speaker A: After you saw that.

Speaker B: Yeah. Okay.

Speaker E: You're for sure.

Speaker D: I would actually, as I come through, I would tell them, I'm like, the name of this sword is redemption.

Speaker B: And you're ending here.

Speaker A: Let me see if. Well, dice to say here. Oh, you rolled a what then?

Speaker B: 11. 11. Okay.

Speaker A: No, so they. They all kind of, like, recoil back and are, like, hissy, and just like. They're like, sing us.

Speaker B: Let us be. You can leave. What are you doing?

Speaker C: Well, if you start to. To back up to the room.

Speaker D: I haven't done anything to back up yet. I just cut them out. They just. I said all that. They just stuck down. Give you a chance to decide.

Speaker A: Press. They kind of. They kind of. They've, like, pressed themselves back into the wall, like, so. Like, the way is open. And from their reaction, like, they don't want. They just want to be left alone.

Speaker B: Now. Cleanse the temple.

Speaker C: Seems like they're still.

Speaker D: Does Cash actually say.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: I. I look. I look your direction, and these words seem to have an effect on you.

Speaker D: I'm not even looking at you. I'm looking at them.

Speaker C: No, what he says. I look at you, and they seem to have a reaction.

Speaker D: If anything, I haven't flinched at what he said because it's absolutely supporting how I feel. You've already heard me say that we need to cleanse this place and not burn it down.

Speaker B: You do you.

Speaker C: Andy's just like, we can go. No, they'll probably hunt us down.

Speaker B: What are you doing?

Speaker C: I fire Comet.

Speaker B: What?

Speaker D: What comet?

Speaker C: The flaming crossbow.

Speaker B: Oh, nice.

Speaker C: For so 11 on the wall not hit. I know it's high, but I wrote double sixes, so that's six.

Speaker B: Nice, Bob. Yes. Depending.

Speaker C: Lets me try the damage type.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: See, yeah, you're just impacts onto them. They don't.

Speaker B: Oh, actually, okay. Yeah.

Speaker A: So that impacts into them. And see, the fire wasn't super. Again, super effective against their stone bodies. As it explodes and hits it, you see kind of like this, like, smirk, like, curl up on one of his. On their face.

Speaker D: Somebody makes note of that.

Speaker A: So they're up now. I'm gonna say they're I think three. Yeah. Three of them are going to go after Doc.

Speaker D: I heard that.

Speaker A: And then. And then two after Audrey. So we'll do. We'll do the three for do. That's two hits. They two of them rolled 15.

Speaker B: Then.

Speaker A: Have one for six damage. Yeah, I was gonna say roll your D6.

Speaker B: Minus five.

Speaker D: So do you want.

Speaker C: Nice.

Speaker A: Yeah. So yeah, that's like. This is like metal or not metal, but stone claws. It's like. And then like the elderite, like flashes and like screams at them. And they kind of like a purple.

Speaker E: Like.

Speaker B: And then. Then the.

Speaker A: Then the other one that clawed you hit you for four.

Speaker B: And now.

Speaker A: And then those two kind of like they. The three that were around you kind of like they look. They recoil a bit. Especially since you like this, like your saber of light is out.

Speaker E: And then I give him the same.

Speaker D: Grin back that he gave to.

Speaker A: And then to the hip four. And then the two that slash it.

Speaker D: In my mind, I'm thinking four.

Speaker A: F you, Cash, what's your defense?

Speaker B: Two.

Speaker C: Two.

Speaker A: Oh, wait. So 11 does hit you. So both of them hit you. And then we got three and three. So two instances of three.

Speaker B: The other dusters that Jacques made or.

Speaker D: That was 10 points of potential damage.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: Okay, so I managed to block three of the six.

Speaker B: Yep.

Speaker A: And that one too, like, where they're like. And they're just like the flashing the reality kind of like. And they're not so sure anymore. All right.

Speaker E: And then Passion Jack gonna try shooting one. Oh, my God.

Speaker D: But then you have Elder night.

Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker E: 16 to hit.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker E: Six points of damage. One.

Speaker A: Shoot the one that's wounded already.

Speaker B: Okay. All right. Yeah.

Speaker A: Bullets impact and chip off chunks of it, but it's still standing. All right, and then Cash.

Speaker D: Cash takes a swing, but he doesn't.

Speaker B: Get a good grip on it.

Speaker D: That just deflects off.

Speaker B: I missed. Okay.

Speaker A: All right, so we're back around to.

Speaker D: Andre that's in the mood. He's got a sword up, so he's gonna take a swing. And he's just, like, spitting righteous judgment statements along the way. You've been found wanting. And he goes after the one that's been.

Speaker E: Intensified.

Speaker D: They suck.

Speaker B: They're hard. These things are hard to hit. Yeah. 11. Yeah, that's better.

Speaker D: So, yeah, I got 12 plus.

Speaker B: Nice six damage. My pulling blade. That's on the winding one.

Speaker A: Yeah, that one blade carves through and it crashes. And again the same saying. The crumbles. And then like the dark spirit comes out of it. Just kind of like shatters.

Speaker D: Then once again, I hold the blade out to her next one. Say, kneel and meet your fate.

Speaker A: They are like, die first before we.

Speaker B: Kneel before the light, maybe.

Speaker A: Oh, I doubt it.

Speaker D: The clown hammer, the calm demeanor.

Speaker B: I don't think that's happening.

Speaker C: So I want to take this turn. I've got the. The Elderite blade, and I want to enchant it.

Speaker D: With light. Whereas.

Speaker A: I'll say to do that.

Speaker B: To.

Speaker A: Give it, like, I guess the divine energy. Is that what you're trying to do? I would say from the arcane perspective, that's not possible.

Speaker C: Something that mimics the divine attribute.

Speaker A: All right, give me. I say this will be formidable. So you'll need 15 plus.

Speaker B: Did it.

Speaker D: I got say die because you're experimenting.

Speaker C: Plus I've got the five, so there's the 15, and then I've got the three. So 18.

Speaker A: All right. And let's see. That's formidable. So yeah, we'll say that.

Speaker B: I mean, yeah. And.

Speaker A: And then three arcane. But that will be on there, I guess, as long as you maintain it now.

Speaker B: But.

Speaker E: Do crazy lightning goes.

Speaker C: At some point, we're going to have to rest.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: So, yeah. So your. Your blade is. Has some sort of energy burning into it.

Speaker B: I see.

Speaker A: We'll say the enhanced Elderite. The Elderite. You've tapped into the. I guess more of the Elder right there.

Speaker B: And it's.

Speaker A: It's like screaming.

Speaker D: Energized.

Speaker A: That's screaming. Or is it screaming? Or is it like the whisk? It's whispers, isn't it? I'd say yeah, it's very intense. Like. Like whispers. And like everybody hears that.

Speaker B: Dude.

Speaker A: And then I'd say probably, like the reality around you is, like, distorted. You're starting to see, like, future, past kind of stuff. So I'll say that it's gonna. Your blade will ignore their armor now, but you'll have, like, minus one to hit with.

Speaker B: It.

Speaker A: Because reality is weird around you. Okay, so that's done. So they're up. So they're going to split their attacks. So they'd be two and two on. Actually.

Speaker B: Yeah, they're gonna.

Speaker A: I think they're all actually just gonna focus dog. That would make sense.

Speaker B: Lovely.

Speaker A: They're all gonna be.

Speaker B: It's been fun.

Speaker A: Yeah, on you. So what's your. Your defense is two.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker A: So an 11 hits you. So all four are gonna claw at you and hit all fours.

Speaker B: On. Hit.

Speaker A: Yes.

Speaker D: This might be the end of Doc.

Speaker B: All right.

Speaker A: So we have three. Three and then six.

Speaker D: Nothing from the three, nothing from the three. So zero. Zero. Now we have to go after six.

Speaker A: Six. Six what?

Speaker B: Four.

Speaker E: So I took two advantage.

Speaker B: Yeah, he's fine. They're.

Speaker A: Yeah, they're. They're just like enraged and they're like.

Speaker B: Oh.

Speaker A: Like, they're just.

Speaker D: Doc was unfaced.

Speaker A: They're deranged. And he.

Speaker E: Sixes.

Speaker D: Oh, it's the hammer.

Speaker B: Yeah, I'm using the hammer. I don't think it has a crit thing, but I can still.

Speaker A: Oh, yeah, you still have the.

Speaker D: The mighty success y.

Speaker E: 11 points of.

Speaker B: Damn.

Speaker E: Still got good one.

Speaker A: 11 points. You blow gaping. You, like blow a gaping hole up.

Speaker B: In one of them, but it's still standing. I'm gonna. I think I do nine damage and.

Speaker D: I think I'm just gonna carnage and attack again.

Speaker A: Okay, you wanna actually 9 damage. Let me see. You can kill the wounded one if you like, or do you want to wound another one?

Speaker B: I'll kill a human one. Okay. Yeah.

Speaker E: See, Jacques and I are learning to work together now.

Speaker A: I going to say this one, even this one does that weird, like, pancake thing and then like, that's going to be when it kills stuff. Yeah, it does. It just makes it flat and then discs of things.

Speaker E: Hopefully we don't need items off them. You have to pick them up and do this.

Speaker C: Inflate them, throw them like a frisky.

Speaker B: Oh, I thought that was so close. Definitely still a hit. Jesus Christ. Another one. Wow. Nine damage again.

Speaker A: Hey.

Speaker B: Not gonna survive this.

Speaker A: Yeah, that one, like, takes it. Its body, like, starts cracking and like, kind of like cracking is. It's like, almost destroyed.

Speaker C: You're a happy hitter.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: All right, so we're back around in the top.

Speaker D: How many are left?

Speaker A: There's three.

Speaker D: Docs, like, just in the zone. Doc just says, this is not your home. Go back to where you came from and not raised that as him. He wants to exorcise the group because they're like possessed.

Speaker A: Right.

Speaker D: By these creatures.

Speaker A: Yeah, that's what it looks like.

Speaker D: So he wants to just cast them out of their bodies using faith.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker D: Or arcane, whichever.

Speaker A: It would be a faith roll.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: And then to hit all of them, it will burn your faith point.

Speaker B: Yeah, that makes sense. To make it aoe.

Speaker D: I just don't want to go through another hack of like, dodge the attacks.

Speaker E: That would be awesome. Our damage rolls would be slow.

Speaker D: Do I get a glow bonus?

Speaker B: Yes.

Speaker A: We'll give you a bonus D on this. It's your wielding.

Speaker D: So this is mind and creature.

Speaker B: Yes. Oh, thank goodness.

Speaker D: So I almost credit 11. That so 12, 16.

Speaker B: Yep.

Speaker A: So what does this look like?

Speaker D: So if they have any orifice, just light, like start shooting out of it. And then the stones would just like fall. However, they would fall like they're no longer animated. So if they were stretched out, they would just like solidify and then just fall over in their place. If they were imbalanced, whatever stone would do if they were emptied in the positions they're in. I don't know if they would make noise on the way out, but it'd.

Speaker A: Be like, that's your. This is your. You can.

Speaker D: It's like burning them out. So we wouldn't have seen it start on the inside, but inside it would have, like from the center just started eating them out, you know, from the inside and passing them back to their. To whatever place they're in, they're from. And then you would see it when it got to the orifices and it would come out. So maybe they would actually start recoiling, but you wouldn't see why until it shown in their faces. And then they was. Once they were gone, they're just rock and whatever form they were in. So if they're imbalanced, then the rock would fall over.

Speaker A: Yeah, I'd say. I'd say, yeah. As you. As you're starting to chant your prayer, then they're all coming at you. And then all of a sudden they just like. They kind of like mid stop attack and then start like twitching and screaming.

Speaker B: And then the.

Speaker A: Then the light comes out of their eyes and mouth in an order for this.

Speaker B: And then the.

Speaker A: You hear them like do like that evaporation scream. And then the rock just crumbles.

Speaker D: I put the sword away and say.

Speaker B: Oh, that was fun.

Speaker D: Rather not see any more of those.

Speaker C: Do we want to dig through the wall or do we want to go?

Speaker D: Probably should keep searching. Andre's walking a little wobbly.

Speaker A: Oh, yeah, it's. It's after combat. So you do heal up half your normal. Half your normal damage.

Speaker D: Is it. I can't remember if you have odd. Is it better or worse for you?

Speaker A: They round you round.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Round up.

Speaker B: Right. Yeah. And then.

Speaker A: Yeah, you get your.

Speaker D: I actually get 2 bonus size on my. So yeah. So everybody who's injured, it's a plus one to your.

Speaker B: Am I able to heal from the previous fighter?

Speaker D: Because I didn't take any damage.

Speaker A: On the lasting damage.

Speaker B: I don't. Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker A: I have to look.

Speaker D: If we got hurt last fight, it.

Speaker B: Would have healed everybody up.

Speaker E: I think we did that.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: Before we ended.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: I can heal one point of lasting lifeboat damage.

Speaker A: Yeah. So if you guys were hurt, no guys would have lost the. You reduced it.

Speaker E: That's why more demons.

Speaker B: I agree.

Speaker A: That was great.

Speaker B: That was.

Speaker E: I think it's okay.

Speaker D: I would like cash and I'd be like, disaster's amazing.

Speaker B: It's Eldritch. Amazing.

Speaker D: Guys gotta keep making some of this stuff.

Speaker B: You have more work to do. Yeah. Jacques is a craft.

Speaker D: Or Doc doesn't hang around long.

Speaker B: Just like, let's go.

Speaker D: He's geeker. Yep.

Speaker A: So you guys head back to the T. So you can go north or south.

Speaker B: South sounds good. Okay. Yeah.

Speaker A: As you walk down this hallway.

Speaker B: There'S.

Speaker A: Nothing particularly remarkable this. But as you get down about halfway to there's. There's been another cave in in this corridor which is blocked by a bunch of rubble.

Speaker D: No statue.

Speaker B: Nope.

Speaker A: Uninteresting corridor. It just looks like it's like kind of like caved in from time.

Speaker C: So it would be equally easy or hard for me to beam through as the other one.

Speaker A: Yeah, the same. Like, I guess we could just say based on what. If you want to dig through it, the time constraint would be basically like your roll. So the lower the wall, the laundry.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: Let's find all the stuff that junk and then come back to the close stuff.

Speaker A: All right. So north or.

Speaker B: Yeah. Okay. Yeah.

Speaker A: So as you get to the brass doors, you open them, you just see and there's like lights lit down there. And you just see like the first, I guess quarter or third of it is like there's just these sites swinging like the traditional, like dungeon trap. Like there's just several. And then past that you see jets of fire. You know, they're tying. And then past that you see like these blades that are just like that, like slash out from like the wall or whatever. So it's like you built this place.

Speaker B: How are they protecting?

Speaker A: So if you want to run through it's an agility check. But if you have a career.

Speaker B: That.

Speaker A: Would make sense for navigating.

Speaker E: Going through this.

Speaker C: I'd be more tempted to go back around to the chapel and take the other door and see if it comes out at the other end.

Speaker D: On the other side. I'm fine with that too, but can we. Can we see to the other end? Like, what's on the other side?

Speaker A: You would see, like, you. You'd get the, like, the glint of brass. Brass door on the other side. So this is just like a quarter. It's like maybe like 10, 15ft wide. That's just bizarre nonsense.

Speaker D: Time for going around. If we have to go through this mess.

Speaker C: This doesn't continue down, does it?

Speaker B: Does.

Speaker A: Yes. There is a south one too. Yeah, south is down there also.

Speaker B: Go back. Go south.

Speaker C: And then if it dead ends, then.

Speaker B: We'Ll come back up on the other side.

Speaker A: I will do this. So to show that you guys look.

Speaker B: Down here and we're like, we'll.

Speaker E: Let's check that out later.

Speaker B: Wait, what? What a mess. Yeah.

Speaker A: So then you guys.

Speaker D: I guess I have a question on that one too. Like, is anything affecting the ceiling?

Speaker A: Well, like, so, like, to, like, do what? Like, what's your idea?

Speaker D: If someone was either climbing high or literally walking on the ceiling, would they be affected by the traps?

Speaker A: Yeah, you would see that. Like, some of them. Like the pendulum ones. No, but like, like some of the flame jets and like, the slashing blades come at, like, weird angles.

Speaker B: Yeah, you get.

Speaker A: Avoid one obstacle by walking.

Speaker B: I'll go if you want.

Speaker E: We got one of these in the mine.

Speaker D: Thinking a danger room. Is it like a training tool?

Speaker E: It's training.

Speaker D: Anybody fails, they just become a minor in the mine. Yeah, that's the retirement plan.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: I mean, if you guys want to go through it. Otherwise, I'd say let's explore.

Speaker C: Say, go back and go. Following you for now.

Speaker A: All right.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: So as you guys walk back and go south and you open the doors, they're lit up, and it's just another.

Speaker B: Room that's blocked out.

Speaker A: Of more tapestries. These ones are, like, seem to be in better condition, and it's kind of a little more bits and pieces of Mithras and kind of like these ones Talk a little bit about this place under here. And this is like one of the.

Speaker B: You can gather.

Speaker A: This is like one of the original, like, church. Like an ancient church, like foundry, fortress.

Speaker D: Ducks writing all these things down as he goes by.

Speaker A: And then here, I think you would finally. You would get you Would gather all. You would you and Audrey would be able to gather all like the traits of light that are like kind of like their ten commandments or guiding principles of the light of the traits of light. So I. I will dump that discord for you guys.

Speaker B: God knows. Nope.

Speaker E: Nope, nope, nope.

Speaker A: I think on this one too. You would. Yeah, I think in here maybe and this one is like cut up in two. But it would be like that you'd probably gather some tidbits and pieces of the traits of shadow which are like the opposite.

Speaker B: Yep.

Speaker A: And it would be like. It'd be. These would be kind of like warnings of like watch out for like these behaviors.

Speaker E: Any of them match or zine that we know of or zines.

Speaker B: Good question. Let me look up real quick here.

Speaker E: Jocks are doing after the stained glass. We didn't really interact with Orzing too much.

Speaker A: No.

Speaker E: He is drinking of expensive liquors, playing games. I'm not hit.

Speaker C: Put in the wall raising dangerous animals as pet.

Speaker A: Probably like the closest one you maybe like maybe like maybe some vindictiveness and like arrogance. Maybe some cruelty could have like. Agreed.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: Justice is served. You might as well have fun.

Speaker B: Yeah. Dr.

Speaker E: I just describing me.

Speaker B: Worshiping the board dragon. Maybe I would call.

Speaker A: But yeah as your guys like. I guess discovery is its. Oh, it's more. It's just like I guess behaviors are character tr. There's no like you don't act like this way or not.

Speaker B: Whatever.

Speaker A: There's no. There's not general. There's not like hard lines.

Speaker E: It's all driving. There you go.

Speaker B: Okay. Oh.

Speaker A: You guys. And again like this. This corridor had like stuff covering like the bones and canvas and stuff that fallen down kind of covered up the area.

Speaker B: Let's see. Yeah.

Speaker A: You walk into this room and it's maybe like a 20 by 2030, 40. But it's a fairly large room.

Speaker B: And.

Speaker A: There'S lots of chains and rusty hooks. They're just like all hanging down in the misty air. It's kind of like a bit of.

Speaker B: A.

Speaker A: I guess sauna feel to the.

Speaker E: Room.

Speaker D: With a little less blood.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: And then you like as you guys are walking in here, I will need agility checks from everyone.

Speaker C: Yeah, whatever. Swinging.

Speaker B: I got hooked. So. Yeah.

Speaker A: Anyone get nine or I guess eight or less.

Speaker E: I just beat it with nine.

Speaker C: Major malfunction. He's rolled a double.

Speaker B: Oh. Oh.

Speaker A: Catastrophic.

Speaker B: So I.

Speaker A: Well I guess I'm a younger. Yeah. So that's.

Speaker C: The purple glowing blade made him a little wobbly.

Speaker E: Under the void.

Speaker A: Well because there's A there's an maybe now. I guess if it's 20 turn of failure into a calamitous failure, you get a hero point. But this is just gonna. So yeah, as you guys are walking through here, everyone has avoided all the chains except Audrey. He kind of just blunders into one and then the door.

Speaker B: Don't mind me.

Speaker C: I'm just hanging around.

Speaker A: You just hear a massive like hiss and you're all blasted by hot steam and take 2 points of damage. And now you need to either run out of where you came or go south and west.

Speaker D: This will ignore.

Speaker A: Yes, this is just straight taking two points of damage.

Speaker C: So there's nothing further down. Straight. We either go back the way we came or we.

Speaker A: No, you.

Speaker D: You can go.

Speaker A: You can go north, south or west from here. So there is.

Speaker B: You could keep going straight. Yeah. If you want.

Speaker A: You can keep rolling, rushing, whoops.

Speaker B: Running down.

Speaker D: Well, if we were in the front, I just go straight. That'd be what it probably would do.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: All right.

Speaker B: All right.

Speaker D: Give me another.

Speaker A: Everyone give me another agility step. Rushing through here.

Speaker B: Pain.

Speaker C: Thirteen past nine.

Speaker B: Twelve.

Speaker D: Nine.

Speaker A: Nice.

Speaker B: Yep.

Speaker A: You guys all get through. Book it through and don't get burnt scalded by any more steam. You should bust burst through the the brass doors into another 50 foot long corridor. That's just tapestry.

Speaker E: I really like building homes.

Speaker C: Inquisition room there.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: And like these ones are similar to the other ones except this one I guess on both sides is. It's like a tapestry version of the giant stained glass windows except it's just too long. Tapestries down the whole thing. They're made out of like.

Speaker B: Gold.

Speaker A: They have like gold thread and stuff in them.

Speaker B: Running.

Speaker A: You come to another 10 by 10.

Speaker D: Room.

Speaker A: And you can go south or west.

Speaker B: South.

Speaker E: There he goes.

Speaker C: All right, let's go south.

Speaker E: Doc's just following Doc. And under.

Speaker D: Do we get one of the points back after coming out of this one?

Speaker A: Yes.

Speaker B: Yeah. You would get copy.

Speaker A: Yeah, I. I guess I will say the south one. There is no door there. It's just a. Like a natural cave or like something carved through it. It's natural occurrence.

Speaker D: I do the healing again. Or is it because it says after combat, right?

Speaker A: Yeah, I'd say that's not combat.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker A: It was just an environmental.

Speaker D: So south you said.

Speaker A: But you know you can go south. It's just there's like there's a. An opening. Like someone carved a hole through this wall. Like through the wall. Then there's a door to your west. So this is like a natural Opening to like a cart tunnel.

Speaker B: Yeah, let's keep going.

Speaker C: It's wide open. Especially if I find another way down to this place.

Speaker D: A natural probably is inhabited by a natural.

Speaker A: Well, this one was like the wall. Like either someone or something busted through the wall into this like natural cavern that you guys are walking down through. There's no, there's no lights in here in this chunk of tunnel. And it as you start you, you travel about 50ft and as you, you can you start to see kind of like a reddish glow at the end of the tunnel.

Speaker D: Does my blade give off some weight?

Speaker A: Yeah, it would give, it would give off a faint blade.

Speaker C: I would sell them some dancing lights.

Speaker A: But yeah, I was going to say you guys.

Speaker B: Cool. Yeah.

Speaker A: And so you guys come into this huge room. It's like similar to the cathedral sized room. It's huge. You got a dome ceiling and there's like a fiery glow in one corner of like molten metal.

Speaker B: Nice.

Speaker A: The air is heavy with the scent of smoke and sweat and hot iron. And then there's like it's. The room has like a flapper team sense of like change and pulleys and heavy equipment and like Jock and I guess some of you guys too like recognize it. Like this is like a foundry or a forge place. You see like some of the ancient anvils. There's some like massive anvils here that.

Speaker B: Are old, pop marked, worn.

Speaker A: And there's still like some. The lamps in here kind of kind of like flickering. There's like weird eerie shadows on the wall. And then even though it does look like it's been abandoned for a long time, you get like, especially you Doc, as you're walking in here, you get a very like sinister, shadowy feel of something that's happened here. And there's like a reddish.

Speaker B: Kind of.

Speaker A: More of not, not as more like deeper, bloodish. Like red is kind of like occupying the corners. It's kind of like a. More of a darkness than a light in the corners. And just like looking at feels like male evidence.

Speaker D: Four corners.

Speaker A: Yeah, it's kind of in the corners is where like is the strongest feel to it. And they kind of like have like a like a pulse almost in time with like hammer blows. If you were working that'll. And you kind of get a sense that it's like waiting for someone or something.

Speaker B: You're squeezing to come back.

Speaker A: So you guys kind of get like that sense as, as you walk in a little bit into the room.

Speaker E: You'Re in special.

Speaker D: Is there any writing of anything or Is it just.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: I was going to say as you go around the room and YouTube jock, because of your.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: You're crafting stuff. You do find. You find. You guys, I guess both kind of gravitate towards like this, I guess area in the center that's kind of like. Like a workbench or kind of like an overseer's place or. You find as a jock, you would see like drawings of like. These are like torn up and kind of like decayed. But you see drawings of like massive like binders or manacles. And then like. And then like as you're looking at these in Doc 2 and Audrey, you would see that. And you would probably find bits of like the forms earlier or the four pieces. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker B: The molds.

Speaker A: That's the word. The molds. And there's runes carved into them. I'm gonna say, Audrey, you can give me a mine sorcery roll because I'm in here.

Speaker B: The thing did it.

Speaker A: You trained.

Speaker B: You've been training in it.

Speaker E: Jacques would be trying to piece. Like if there's diagrams or blueprints, he'd be trying to.

Speaker B: Yeah. Big would these manacles be? Fifteen. How big are they? Fifteen. They're.

Speaker A: They're huge.

Speaker E: That's what Jacques is thinking.

Speaker D: That's what I'm thinking.

Speaker A: That's. I said you. You would probably conclude if there. If the dragon. If that statue is life size or not. Like, they're actually. They're too big for the statue.

Speaker E: Going off the stained glass and the Tapestry of Mithras on the mountain and be like thinking more of like, what's this for the dragon?

Speaker A: Yeah. Wouldn't be.

Speaker C: Incorrect.

Speaker B: And. Yeah.

Speaker A: And as you're piecing these pieces together, the drawings and the molds and stuff, you do see that like they're. Yeah. The shackles have runes on them.

Speaker B: There's.

Speaker A: There's several of them were designed. Some were bigger than others.

Speaker B: And they.

Speaker A: Also have like spikes on the inside. And then you. And you do find like one piece of paper that it looks like there's actually like the spike is hollow.

Speaker B: And then. Yeah.

Speaker A: Audrey, you would.

Speaker B: From.

Speaker A: You would be able to deduce.

Speaker B: That.

Speaker A: These are like runes for binding or suppressing suppression.

Speaker E: M. Binders on not Ventress to Orine. He was just stuck in his place.

Speaker D: Do you remember who stuck in there? The church.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: So that was part of the defeat.

Speaker C: So it sounds like Mithras defeated. Orzine sealed him, but he was weakened and someone found him.

Speaker E: He's up on that mountain.

Speaker B: Probably down the tongue. I would I would.

Speaker A: You would also, like, as you're looking at this stuff, like, a lot of this stuff is, like, ancient, like, hundreds of years old, but the stuff you're looking at isn't that old.

Speaker C: So almost like the foundry's still in use.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: I'd be talking to YouTube. Does it look like there's a way to. Does it say, like, instructions or details on how to unlock these things or open them?

Speaker B: No, I don't.

Speaker A: I don't think you'd be. You wouldn't find any of that. And then, like, the bits of the runes Audrey was able to, like, decipher or at least get the gist of the math, is that they're. They're binding or they're suppressing and holding something for the.

Speaker D: The hollow piece. Can we tell what its use is?

Speaker A: No, the best you could say is it's either used for, you know, injecting something, like an IV would be. And a couple of. Yeah, there's. I guess the. Probably the biggest piece you like, the biggest piece has that in it.

Speaker D: Does it say what material they use to make things?

Speaker E: Yeah, I'd look at the metal and stuff to see if I could determine it.

Speaker A: I'd say yeah, between you and Cash of looking at it and kind of like, smelling it.

Speaker E: I'm trying to break a piece off and.

Speaker A: Yeah. And like, some of the slag and stuff.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: You'Re not. It's like, harder than steel or iron. So I don't know if. So I don't know. Like, I'd have to look up history. Like when they, like, one titanium, like, was actually, like, figured out how to use.

Speaker B: Kind of deal.

Speaker A: But. Yeah, it's. It's not. I'd say it may. It may be a metal that you're not used to.

Speaker D: They may have discovered something that nobody else has yet.

Speaker B: Right.

Speaker E: Out too dark or otherworldly means.

Speaker A: And I think also like you on some of the. The. Some of the plans you made, you would see there's the. The Sisters of Night Shadow insignia on some of the pieces.

Speaker B: Which.

Speaker A: Those were. That was the Organization or whatever that or the Bell.

Speaker B: And I don't know.

Speaker A: I don't know if you guys. Players. The players know this, but I don't know if your characters know.

Speaker B: I don't. Yeah.

Speaker A: I don't think any of you guys are researched, like how the veil is torn or whatever. You just know the world changed.

Speaker B: Yeah. They drop. Yeah.

Speaker A: So you. Your characters wouldn't know. I guess you would know of the Sisters of Night Shadow, but you don't.

Speaker B: Know what they did.

Speaker A: You know, they're vasty people.

Speaker C: Does the darkness feel like a living thing?

Speaker D: I would say with your.

Speaker A: Just an echo of your arcane stuff. Yeah, with your arcane stuff sense, it very much feels like there is some immense magical energy expended in here. This is like the shadow of it. And it's been here for to like 100, 200 year, like years.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker A: We'll say you can kind of carve a date kind of growing.

Speaker C: If it was more alive than as far as the spirits. And what I've learned with necromancy, it'd.

Speaker D: Be like trying to.

Speaker C: To pull something out of the shadow and question it. But if it's a. An echo of things, that there's nothing to question.

Speaker A: Right.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: It's more of like you get this sense that it was immense energy was released in this place.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: There's no way to bottle eclipse geothermal in the spines.

Speaker A: Yeah, I guess. Yeah. That would be like. You would find like the forges themselves are still like, yeah, I'm gonna have hot.

Speaker E: And they're still hot.

Speaker A: And there is still like their. I'd say probably even one of the crucibles. They were like using the heat there. That metal is still actually like hot because it is using like geothermal or lava vents from down below.

Speaker C: Can things other than books be sent via the bird? I mean, it was a way of communication.

Speaker B: Yeah. We had. I don't remember.

Speaker E: I've never tried sending items other than books.

Speaker C: Some of the binding, some of the metal.

Speaker B: And.

Speaker C: And see if he can provide any information on that.

Speaker D: How much we can trust him.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: It just says they communicate with the party, collect information.

Speaker E: The war.

Speaker C: Instructs me as if it is a vindictive. It would be like, I want my foe at the strongest possible because I want this to be fun. I've been bottled up for so long. It's not going to be.

Speaker B: How to.

Speaker D: Keep his opponent in captivity.

Speaker C: He doesn't strike me as that type.

Speaker B: Might be vengeful.

Speaker D: He did lose a fight.

Speaker C: Like dangling them on a string vengeful. It'd be like shocking awe.

Speaker B: And you.

Speaker D: So you never give your enemy information that he shouldn't have. You don't know that he's a friend.

Speaker E: He's not sure.

Speaker B: And like. Oh, no.

Speaker A: Yeah. It's just like books, scrolls, pages, et cetera, to be fed to the pigeon.

Speaker E: Those molds we made out of.

Speaker B: Made molds out of.

Speaker D: Then the binders are probably.

Speaker C: I'm also looking at his storage.

Speaker E: There's Our drone, Corsi.

Speaker A: As I say, it's like pieces of mold. Like, you can tell. I think they were, like, either shattered or purposefully, like, dismantled.

Speaker B: This is a clean dynamite, right?

Speaker E: You might have to.

Speaker D: I still want to experiment with consecrated.

Speaker E: Dynamite when I get back. I bless the paper and do, like, an input for the runes, maybe.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker E: Rubbing. That's what it's called.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker E: And then all the scraps of paper he Stuff in his bag.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker B: Can I.

Speaker E: Can I. Ramsey and Ollie might know something.

Speaker D: Can I try with arcane to actually, like, holistically, like, restore the paper?

Speaker A: I would say that is. What's your sorcery training?

Speaker B: One.

Speaker A: Yeah, that's. That's gone. Yeah, that will be. That would be hard for Audrey to pull off.

Speaker C: Audrey likes the way you think.

Speaker B: How.

Speaker C: How hard would it be to.

Speaker A: To, like, recreate something that you don't have all the pieces to. I'll put that at, like, a heroic. To, like, call back. It's, like, history of itself or whatever.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker D: So that would kind of follow himself right now.

Speaker A: But you do have. You do have someone else in your party that has access to someone that doesn't care about time.

Speaker C: That's true. That's.

Speaker B: I don't know what a heroic number.

Speaker C: For me to roll it.

Speaker B: So.

Speaker A: Cash, it might not be this.

Speaker B: That.

Speaker A: That was for you. Carousel is something different.

Speaker B: So.

Speaker D: Yes, Carousel is something. Well, this would start by me saying, like, I wonder if there's a way that we can restore these documents so they don't, like, fall apart and maybe see what we're missing. Because that would give these two more information on how it was created.

Speaker C: The only person I know that deals with time would be Carousel, who really doesn't care.

Speaker D: I don't know about you, but I'd look at him, then be, like.

Speaker B: From Carousel.

Speaker C: I mean, Origin's more as. As far as we know, more justice, vengeance. We could take it to the. The fortune teller.

Speaker D: Last thing before.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: Which I do want to talk about. Fortune teller.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: Or to.

Speaker B: Anton.

Speaker C: Yes.

Speaker A: The library.

Speaker C: And he would probably be able to look at the.

Speaker B: The rem. Okay.

Speaker D: As long as we can transport them without damaging them. Yeah, we can figure it out later. So you have to do it now.

Speaker E: I'm capable.

Speaker B: Okay. I don't know enough about.

Speaker C: I'm saying, you know what?

Speaker D: Duck probably have, like, some clean claws and stuff that you could, like, store it in.

Speaker C: Did you want me to try to.

Speaker B: Go back in time and look at these?

Speaker D: I think we do that in a safer place.

Speaker C: We might get Everything else back too, in this room.

Speaker B: That would tell us a lot about what happened. Damn.

Speaker D: If you guys want to spend the time.

Speaker E: I do need to rest at some point. That's getting late.

Speaker C: Doesn't strike me as a good place to rest.

Speaker D: At least not at the steam room.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker E: Not like the thing in the corner.

Speaker B: Poor things. I want to try to put it back.

Speaker E: Like the fruit.

Speaker C: The juice of the fruit.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: Doing it too excited.

Speaker A: So you just like reach out to Carousel and try to talk to him or what do you.

Speaker B: I think so. Okay. Maybe it's a faith point. Yeah.

Speaker A: Just to reach out and talk to him. No, you can just. Yeah, you just. You can just ask for them.

Speaker B: Oh, Carousel. Timeless, unbound.

Speaker A: I'm going to say probably like is your mid sentence. You just find yourself in the. You just find his face like in front of you. It's like that's all you see.

Speaker B: And then.

Speaker A: And then there's like this giant mustache that like tickles your face.

Speaker B: Have you seen the hammer I got. I thought you'd like it quite a bit. There's much humors you can take. Little pancake guys on your. So funny.

Speaker A: You kind of like. Chuckles.

Speaker E: I wanna.

Speaker B: Can we take these fragments of plans and turn back the time and see what they originally looked like? Sure. Or we could just go watch. Oh yeah.

Speaker C: Do you want your companions?

Speaker B: Yeah. But first you must pay the cost. Sure.

Speaker C: Read from your holy scriptures.

Speaker D: One for image.

Speaker B: Gotta sound it out. What do you call a fake noodle? An imposter. Good. What do you call a belt with a watch on it? You'll like this one. A waste of time. Other kind of ways. What did the daddy spider say to the baby spider? Probably tell me. I actually don't understand this one.

Speaker C: The answer is you spend too much.

Speaker B: Time on the web. I don't know what that means.

Speaker A: Another place in another time.

Speaker B: Yeah, I guess maybe we'll travel there. Wrong. How can you tell if the graveyard is popular? I don't know. People be dying to get in there. Oh.

Speaker E: That'S a good one.

Speaker A: And then all of you guys, all like you none of you guys know like this is going on. You just find yourself where you're standing in the active place as these vines are being like discussed and crafted and being hammered out. And you're just. You're just like a witness to this. You're like you could you walk around and then I guess you would see there's a little. A little tree like butler like walking or like kind of like standing with you and he's just like, don't you.

Speaker B: Be touching nothing in here. They might recognize you. Okay. You just walk around and observe. He's Peeping Tom.

Speaker D: I just freeze. I'm just like, holy crap.

Speaker B: I just start to watch and look.

Speaker A: And you would see. You see that this place is like alive and full of people and just constructing. Prepping metal. Prepping molds. You see a group. You see three people. I guess you see one group of three people. They're kind of dressed and like high priest type uniforms. Audrey would recognize the deificate. I guess their uniforms as like high level church members. Like leadership. And then. Then you see like another like I guess triplet of these is sinister looking. Like women dressed in like black with like almost like shadow or like ink is like actually like rolling out of their eyes.

Speaker B: I don't.

Speaker A: I guess if it's kind of like from Sea of Thieves that. The curse from the Skull Portal.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: The Order of Souls. But it's been like your eyes are like all black and you have like this black like smoke or whatever kind of like rolled out of your eyes.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: You see like those three people there. They're like dressed in black and they kind of have like shadow is almost like coming off of them and they're. They're talking and they're almost kind of like talking down or at the church. The three there.

Speaker D: There's three of these sinister women.

Speaker A: Yes. And you had. You had. And you guys maybe had some Jock probably has had some dealings with them either as like it's just part of his back history is smuggling stuff for them. You may have ran into. I'd say it's likely.

Speaker E: You would have probably seen them.

Speaker A: Yeah. Seen them as you were like the lower just moving stuff around. But you get. You hear. I guess the leader of the. Those sisters address the other three people as Wraith Obscura and Morwen, the three church people. And like as you're like walking around you do like see them that they have like a bit of like veil or shadow like across their face. But yeah, it's race obscure or. And then you're as. You're like the. The little butler tree guy which is like like 2 or 3 like 2ft tall is actually kind of like narrating like what's going on. Almost like David Attenborough type.

Speaker B: Oh yeah.

Speaker A: Narration here we see.

Speaker B: Three evil sisters.

Speaker D: I see the plans in the room.

Speaker B: The what?

Speaker A: The plans in the room.

Speaker B: The plants in the room.

Speaker E: Like the binder.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: You. You guys are like. You're actually it's almost like a fast forward to as this is. As you're like walking around, you see the entire like planning and the construction and then you see the slaughtering of all the workers.

Speaker B: Oh, and who.

Speaker D: Can we tell who the workers are?

Speaker A: They're just. They just look like like. Just people. They're just like smiths and stuff. They're working in this foundry.

Speaker D: They look like they were slaves or they were just.

Speaker C: They were just hired.

Speaker B: No.

Speaker A: Yeah, it looks like they're hired or they're you know, or were in. There's metal workers and learning like all this stuff. And I guess Jockey would like learn that they're like these binds are like made out of titanium, which is like harder and stronger and lighter than steel.

Speaker B: You know, Man. And then. Yep.

Speaker A: And then you would see, yeah, the bindings get completed and then all the. Everybody in there is slaughtered except for the three church people and the three sisters.

Speaker D: So were the church people named?

Speaker A: No, you never, you never heard. They're just addressed as Sister. Doesn't matter which one that's being spoken to. They're all. Their names are never uttered. They're always just referred to as Sister or Nightress.

Speaker D: Do I recognize any of the faces of these individuals? And are they wearing any special guard.

Speaker A: Church guard, or just high level priest, like leadership level garments?

Speaker B: That's all.

Speaker D: Nothing distinguishing weapons?

Speaker B: No.

Speaker E: Yeah.

Speaker D: I'd make a note of their faces though. But this is the Trinity.

Speaker B: All right. And then. Yeah. And then as.

Speaker A: As they fast forward over like a couple like this just like sped run over a couple years, like I guess a year, A year of time this is done. And then every. Everybody is like all the workers in here were. Are slaughtered and like carried out. Out the east door, I believe or the west door.

Speaker B: There is no east door. Oh. Yep.

Speaker A: And then you guys just. You hear the little. The little golem guys.

Speaker B: I hope you enjoyed that this time.

Speaker A: And then you're just back where you were.

Speaker D: They tell in that flashback why the.

Speaker B: Corners in the room are doing what they're doing.

Speaker A: It's just like near the end when they're actually like. Yeah, it's partly like some of it is that, but it's mostly just from like when the bindings were actually completed and the runes were like inscribed and empowered as just massive flash of energy just poured into it. That's just the end. I'm sure Audrey would have shared. That's just this rune. This is an echo, just a dark place of the. Of the imprints of the energy and the people that Were all the slot it in here.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: I guess where we do next? Yes, I think that's everything. And then I guess for Cash, Carousel would, like, pop up pop in front of you again.

Speaker B: I hope you enjoyed that. Yes, I did. Thank you very much. Hey, how do we feel about Mythmarzy and everything?

Speaker C: Like, what side are we on?

Speaker B: Whatever side you want to be on. Okay. That's cool. Yeah. I do not care. I make time go right and kill.

Speaker D: Those who stop it.

Speaker C: We're like, above all that.

Speaker B: Yeah. Yes. You can exist.

Speaker A: I exist outside.

Speaker C: Well, thank you. Something that stops time, but definitely not something.

Speaker B: He.

Speaker A: I would say, like, when you say.

Speaker B: That.

Speaker A: All of a sudden, like, you see Carousel, like, you actually Carousel actually appears in front of, like, appears in front of you.

Speaker D: Is it just him?

Speaker A: Yes, just him.

Speaker B: Actually.

Speaker A: No, he would actually to all of you. And this would be the Jock is the one that hasn't seen him. You know, that might be disturbing for Jock, but you and happy after this day. But for the three of you that have interacted with Carousel, the tone is a. Is actually, like, spooky. And he just says, don't get any ideas about messing with time or I will send my hunters. And then he just, like. Then he just does, like, a PB Ehrman laugh, and it's gone.

Speaker B: I would never probably want to get hunters. Sounds like. Yes. All right. Yeah.

Speaker C: The mighty hunter of parasail.

Speaker D: Swing around the squeaky palace of the frog legs.

Speaker E: All right, we need to end session.

Speaker A: And then I'll have a couple things to go over a few minutes if everyone has time.

Speaker B: Yep. All right.

Speaker A: Did we learn something new and important about the world?

Speaker E: That's, like, a fine point.

Speaker D: The one we for sure.

Speaker B: Yeah. That was ma. Yeah.

Speaker A: Did we overcome notable monster or enemy?

Speaker E: Not really.

Speaker B: Get two fights.

Speaker E: Yeah, that's true. Gargoyle could have hurt.

Speaker B: I think they were.

Speaker E: Yeah, they were notable. You just absorbed all the damage.

Speaker D: I'm so thankful like, that I actually could have died twice over. Almost three times over. Two and a half times over.

Speaker E: Did we loot memorable treasure in the.

Speaker B: Hammer.

Speaker C: Or does that count as last session?

Speaker E: We didn't loot it.

Speaker A: He didn't loot it, though. It fell on the ground. Yeah, we had.

Speaker B: And then.

Speaker A: Doc. It wasn't looted, but.

Speaker D: I was just making a dedication. It's all right. I wasn't really thinking of those. I was just like, yeah.

Speaker A: Did we solve a problem without violence?

Speaker D: Ask a doctor to put his medical device out there. That's probably what he really would have done if He.

Speaker B: What's that?

Speaker E: I don't think so.

Speaker A: Did we solve a problem without violence?

Speaker C: Ran out of the steam room.

Speaker B: We didn't do anything.

Speaker E: We're not shooting.

Speaker B: We just fled. Yeah.

Speaker D: I don't think so.

Speaker B: I don't think that counts.

Speaker D: Not intentionally.

Speaker B: All right.

Speaker E: With the demons, but I didn't.

Speaker A: Oh, I guess. Yep. And then any other low light highlights that anyone wants to call out.

Speaker E: We ain't going to swing later.

Speaker D: Would exercising the demons count as violence?

Speaker E: We were violent to them.

Speaker B: This.

Speaker A: This is just low lights highlights. Anything extra.

Speaker D: That baby.

Speaker B: And all that other stuff.

Speaker C: We just turned around. Close the door.

Speaker D: No, I think it's this cool docket.

Speaker B: To learn about the light. Fascinating.

Speaker D: Yeah, we're learning a ton.

Speaker E: Two religious experiences in one day.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker E: Same two deity things happen.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker E: I'll put the attitude carousel pops up.

Speaker D: To the point of like it's a war above us, you know, like around us. But not the ox.

Speaker E: Just think about build bigger.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: I build a gun to kill a God.

Speaker B: What's the.

Speaker E: What's that character?

Speaker B: Marvel the God killer.

Speaker D: He makes the sword to kill the.

Speaker B: The powerful beings. Anyways.

Speaker E: I don't know and I haven't seen Thorn.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: Christian Bale. He's actually a character in the comics. He had a sword that showed.

Speaker E: Oh yeah.

Speaker D: All the major beings.

Speaker E: Mom and Thunder.

Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker D: You made a deal with like death.

Speaker B: Death games. Go kill powerful beings.

Speaker E: I was thinking of when he sanity. When Thor makes his new axe.

Speaker B: And.

Speaker E: He has to go restart that star. And that's their force.

Speaker A: I guess any long term. Any new long term goals may have.

Speaker E: To go to the church and figure out m. Yeah. That's where Jock's thinking.

Speaker D: I think we'll need to talk to Ramses first and be like okay, one and show her brain dump everything that we've got.

Speaker E: And same with Ollie.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker E: You could help with the room.

Speaker D: That's true. She might know what the black Dragon is. And then once we got all that information sorted out. Go to the church.

Speaker E: Yeah.

Speaker D: And figure out.

Speaker B: Because like the church.

Speaker E: Well, that's kind of the plan when.

Speaker D: You figure out from Ramses how bad the rift is.

Speaker E: And then if those three sisters are maybe the Trinity.

Speaker B: I think so.

Speaker D: Then I think we need to. Yes. And I think we need to cleanse the. Or whoever those three names are.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: Church people. Do we see if they were men or women? The church people?

Speaker E: Because there was the three women. There were the names.

Speaker A: Or was it. No, it was the three. The three sisters. Their names were. They were Only ever referred to as sister. No. The three church people were named Wraith Obscura.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: But I don't know if they were men or women.

Speaker A: But yeah, there was. Wraith was female. Obscura was male and more when I believe is a female also.

Speaker B: Yes, yes.

Speaker A: You would have. But any like there any like distinguishing like you got that from like their body shape but like their face was kind of like shaped like shadowed. So it got magically shadows.

Speaker B: What side are the pale riders on?

Speaker A: It was.

Speaker D: There's a rift in them though.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker D: So that's what we're talking military arm. Ramsay's like the old guard. Could also be split it.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: So this church civil war, we're going.

Speaker B: To get involved with it.

Speaker A: That's true.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Because Cash wasn't here when you guys went and visited writers Paul.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: And it was very clear that they were all about the church and not.

Speaker C: Necessarily about the was there. He bluffed his way in.

Speaker A: Oh yeah, that's right.

Speaker D: Like first session.

Speaker A: It was your first session.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: It was your first session.

Speaker B: Yes.

Speaker A: Oh yeah.

Speaker E: Cuz we met.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Cuz he got started in the deep end.

Speaker B: Yeah. We all the right culture.

Speaker D: I think we need to verify. We need to purify this town because this is still in the night.

Speaker A: This is Night boy. This is under night.

Speaker E: My guess is we're gonna take this place over afterwards.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: So I was saying this will be city two and we're gonna need to take it over because there's like a.

Speaker C: Spiral obelisk here for you too.

Speaker E: Yes.

Speaker C: Somewhere in this mess there's an obelisk.

Speaker E: Thing and there's a house that moves out.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: If we can cleanse this place then it might be something to talk to Ramses, if there's going to be a war, this might become a training ground.

Speaker E: Bigger than Brave Lane.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Oh, Nightmore. Yes. Nightmore was. That's much larger.

Speaker D: Although it's in danger of the encroaching battle lines.

Speaker B: So.

Speaker A: No, Ninemore is not in danger of this.

Speaker D: Just south is where that Southern light is, isn't it?

Speaker A: Yes, but that's like pretty far on the map.

Speaker B: That's.

Speaker A: That's far.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker D: I just remember it being closer than Frandland.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: Closer to.

Speaker A: Yeah, it's. That's a couple hundred miles.

Speaker D: So where's Night?

Speaker A: You guys are over here on the west.

Speaker D: Okay. I thought it was further over.

Speaker A: No.

Speaker D: So where's Bridge Landing?

Speaker A: Bridge Landing is west right here.

Speaker D: Oh, I thought we were way farther over.

Speaker A: No, we're really far. Or Zine's place is like here where you guys went down the hole to find or clean.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker E: Around the gator and somewhere.

Speaker D: Okay for now.

Speaker A: But yeah.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: So the front line is like down there which is like 300 miles away by the crow. So that's very far. Especially since there's not really. There's no direct trails to.

Speaker B: Let's see anything else right now.

Speaker A: I guess next session. Which is two weeks.

Speaker B: I believe.

Speaker E: I think so.

Speaker B: I think one off. Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker A: That'll be dragon bait. One shot. So I guess you guys will just continue with this, I assume.

Speaker B: Yep.

Speaker E: Figuring out what's going on.

Speaker A: It's the other.

Speaker C: It's down here somewhere.

Speaker A: For I guess upcoming. I guess next week is Dragon Bay one shot. And then other sessions. I know Wes are used to defeated. Would you want to do your aliens one shot on October 25th?

Speaker B: I don't know if it'll be a one shot.

Speaker A: Well, okay, that's fine.

Speaker C: Sure.

Speaker A: Because I was gonna say if. Whether it is or isn't, we could continue that on the first. So your skill still be here.

Speaker D: No, I just want you to know we're a really hard table.

Speaker E: Rural lawyers.

Speaker B: So.

Speaker A: But yeah, I was gonna say if aliens is and turns into one or two shots, that's fine. If it's a one shot. Would you. On November 1, would you want to do your play test?

Speaker D: Can we do. You talked about maybe having a channel in the discord.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: This will be kind of cool. Is I want to drop.

Speaker E: I don't think I can do stuff.

Speaker D: I don't think so.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker E: I don't think I could pen something.

Speaker A: Okay.

Speaker D: Maybe now it's called a play test. And then I want to drop this like some fun tidbits in there. But also occasionally questions I might ping you guys to be like, hey, question about playability. What's your thought on this? And it won't necessarily be specific. It'll be just me thinking through something and use some feedback before you play test.

Speaker B: That'll be fun.

Speaker D: But I'll drop some stuff.

Speaker B: Yeah, I'll.

Speaker A: I'll just make all you guys give you guys all admin privileges because we'll set the players group up so you guys can make threads and stuff.

Speaker D: I don't plan on going crazy soon.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: And I think that's it.

Speaker B: And then.

Speaker A: September for Dagger Heart.

Speaker B: That's gonna be fun.

Speaker A: We're gonna. We'll be in Sabicola.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: And you guys are gonna be.

Speaker E: One.

Speaker A: Of the nooks recently trained hunter squads from the Whispering Flats. Down there. And you're gonna be dealing with some of the war that's going on on their territory over there.

Speaker B: Oh, so that's all.

Speaker A: So you guys. So whatever. And we'll. We'll talk. I'll drop more of this later. But that's as far as the story is. This is all you're going to get. So we'll get some more bore about the dunk and whatever we actually play. But you guys will be mount. You guys will have hard talon mounts with your tier one characters. So. So we'll get to test out how playing Western feels with Daggerheart. So if that's a good fit. Depending on all the stuff that's going on here, like in December next year. Well, depending on or depending or depending on what happens after this Obelisk thing, we may transition to give Daggerheart a run with some more clay. I'd be down either as maybe more guys from Whispering Marshes or something.

Speaker E: Our brave landing or.

Speaker A: Yeah, or you guys can. Well, we can talk about that more later.

Speaker B: Yeah, I think that was. That was. Yeah, that's.

Speaker A: I guess. Yeah, for now.

Speaker B: But yeah, that's.

Speaker C: Do you have that image of Swift Talon or hard talent?

Speaker A: The horror talent.

Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker C: Wes hasn't seen those yet.

Speaker B: I don't think so. Oh yeah.

Speaker A: I think though that was probably like session two.

Speaker E: So that was session one or two.

Speaker D: I thought we were gonna die.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: Then he got slashboard.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: It would have been a while if this was.

Speaker B: Would have been a while ago.

Speaker A: I'm pretty sure we should have west. This looks familiar.

Speaker B: Okay. Yeah.

Speaker A: You're seven foot, £3,000.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Death machine.

Speaker C: I just couldn't remember if you seen it because when it came in it was after we had written in. They didn't want to have anything to do with mountains of light or anything else you can see. I've seen around the town up north.

Speaker B: When you're going up in a vanity.

Speaker E: Twilight, it's gonna be fun going to the church and trying to find the dragon.

Speaker B: Yeah. I mean there was that vault or whatever that you wanted to get into, but they would not let us.

Speaker E: Yeah, that's where the coin was at.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: I wouldn't be shocked that they were like similar.

Speaker B: Right?

Speaker C: It's the most secure place.

Speaker B: In the world. Yeah.

Speaker C: Bringing in a Fort Knox.

Speaker D: It would cause a big enough distraction somewhere.

Speaker E: They're on a mountain.

Speaker D: They just have shock paint, enough explosives.

Speaker B: Any problem?

Speaker D: You two are pretty dangerous together. With your skills. What can I build to just bury the church? Like here's what we're gonna do.

Speaker E: Let's kill high people. Live up there. Just kill like thousands of people.

Speaker A: There's like 200,000 people.

Speaker E: Oh, there goes 10,000 people.

Speaker D: Oh well he's gotta weigh the situation there. Don't tell doc though.

Speaker B: It'll be.

Speaker C: It's just two tectonic plates together.

Speaker D: Not a volcano right on either side of the way.

Speaker A: Just swallows it.

Speaker D: Through some of the causes.

Speaker A: Oh yeah, we do have six. Yeah. So we have two. We have a break and then two weeks do back to back session for Santa Cola 1613. But the rate we're p through that should be enough to get to or seen. And then we'll have dagger hard right after that. I know my parents are coming in at some some point maybe in September next month.

Speaker B: Cool.

Speaker D: So I'm not sure how long just for the weekend or.

Speaker E: No, for I think probably.

Speaker A: I don't know how long but probably like a week.

Speaker E: Find out tomorrow after shows to Skype.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker E: Or zoom.

Speaker D: Earlier is probably better so I don't get chased by the snow.

Speaker A: Oh yeah, yeah. They plan. It's just when are they arriving and how long they're staying. They were before so they will probably.

Speaker B: Be down in here. So. Thank you. Let's go upstairs. Are they going to drive over?

Speaker E: Yes, my dad, that's what he does.

Speaker B: Yep. Yep.

Speaker A: He likes to drive. So they're driving from Kentucky.

Speaker D: They like each other.

Speaker E: It's either Kentucky to here.

Speaker D: I used to drive two hours one direction to Microsoft.

Speaker A: It's like three.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker E: Two and a half to three.

Speaker B: Yeah. Crazy.

Speaker E: It is crazy.

Speaker A: It was.

Speaker B: I did not want to do that.

Speaker E: I did it for two and a half years.

Speaker D: Audiobooks, baby.

Speaker E: Part of your life. It is madness now. Like I would never do that. But you just get.

Speaker B: That's what I'm doing.

Speaker C: It's amazing how normal just becomes.

Speaker A: When I got laid off, I think.

Speaker E: The commute was getting closer to two and a half to three hours.

Speaker B: So crazy.

Speaker E: Then if it rained three and a half he was gone all day. Yep. Oh, that's a second job. Yeah, you just don't get paid for it because I got basically got two jobs where I lived and made more money than not to drive six hours a day. Yeah, well I'll never do it again. You get schedule and that's what you do.

Speaker D: So November one for test likely.

Speaker A: I guess it did. That would depend on the one shot.

Speaker D: It goes longer and that's totally fine if it does. Don't freak out.

Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.

Speaker A: Don't worry.

Speaker D: The time you need for this. These are all going to be fun systems.

Speaker E: Oh, dagger hearts. I'm not dagger with dragon B.

Speaker D: You've been wanting to do that for a while.

Speaker E: Oh, that's fine. Same with that.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Oh yeah. I definitely would plan to.

Speaker E: Dragon band will probably go through the starter book that came with the box eventually all of the table. And that's pretty good.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Because like I. Dagger heart. I have a feeling it will work fine. Probably work fine and feel better than everyone and still. And it's. It's very like laudable. So like replicating your guys's characters I don't think will be that hard break anything. So.

Speaker C: Humans are pretty much standard ways everybody.

Speaker D: You know, it's funny, we played so many systems there. Like some are very locked in, like structured and so not locked in. And we really gravitated more towards like not locked in systems for just hard locked in system.

Speaker E: It was like Pathfinder is fun, but the numbers and then like making custom stuff. I'm like, oh, I want to do this. Like the GM and has to work way more than.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: That's why like building one's been fun because it's kind of like then you could do this, but it wouldn't be fun. Yeah, you could do this, but it wouldn't be fun. Is this going to be fun to.

Speaker A: Make encounters and challenges for players?

Speaker B: How much time do it?

Speaker A: Because that was like the hardest thing with Pathfinder was just building, making encounters.

Speaker D: There's some things that games right now, it's a thing that you do and you don't think of anymore. But it's not fun. Like little things like I think initiatives mostly.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: Like I think there's ways around that.

Speaker A: No, like this is not bad.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: Because just like we're just determining. Agree.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: So at least it's minimizing it. But doing that in any of like the DND systems and stuff, it's just.

Speaker A: Like I'm not a fan of that anymore.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker E: Big encounter and you do like, I'm gonna shoot this guy. And then you sit for like an hour and it's like, oh, I got.

Speaker A: To shoot this guy. Or. Or the fight is like in three hours, entire session. Because we were playing Dragon Age, small Dragon Age and they were. I was DMing and there was just. Then pie was here. So there was four of you guys and. And then there was like werewolves. They went to. They went to the cabin with the werewolves.

Speaker E: Yeah.

Speaker A: And there was like armored knights in there too. And it was like a three. That's one of the Hardest the whole fight. Yeah.

Speaker E: Yeah.

Speaker B: In D and D, I've had such.

Speaker D: Like, fights that last multiple seconds.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: I think that that one might. Or we kicked it off. I think I kicked it off the previous session and just ended with, like, he had, like, the fight is on. And then we came back the next week. Played in that session was just the whole fight. It was just a fight. So it was initiative and rolling, but.

Speaker D: It'S one of those things.

Speaker A: Yes. It was fun.

Speaker D: Didn't have to be as convoluted as.

Speaker B: The system here, because that was when pike got the blood robe.

Speaker E: Yeah.

Speaker A: And ate werewolf tainted meat.

Speaker D: Yes.

Speaker A: Almost Turn started. Almost. Yeah.

Speaker E: Werewolves sitting there eating raw elk.

Speaker D: I sound like, oh, I walk in there and take stuff, like, cook stuff. It's like this thing is on every character he's ever made. Wants to make tea or cookies or bread or something.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: It's part of his fantasies. So he sees this meat on the table and you're like, you know, it's like tainted meat. But he's like, I'm gonna make something out of it.

Speaker E: Wait, take. He just took some and ate it.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker E: And I was like, that was raw.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker E: All the werewolves are like, join us for a vehicle.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker E: Think about the danger it was.

Speaker D: It was his weakness. His characters are fun.

Speaker C: The cursed robe and the wardrobe upstairs.

Speaker A: You know, made out of, like, people's skin together.

Speaker E: People skin.

Speaker A: And then that in Dragon Age stuff corrupts you.

Speaker D: I feel bad with the rogue because there's so many. I've mentioned this before. Like, the best move is like, the backstab if you're not doing range, but it's like you have to do two or three rolls. Oh, you need to do a performance roll to make sure. And then you do the backstab. The only after you try to attack and hit, then you have to choose if you're going to backstab or if you're going to just try to stun them. And it's like you're trying to make, like, a progression of your play. But that means every turn you could roll up to three times.

Speaker B: Yes.

Speaker D: To do, like, six damage.

Speaker C: The process was detail oriented.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: And that's one thing I. I like about systems that aren't locked in because you're able to just flow the story. You're like, okay, this is what you're going to do. Roll it. Let's see how it goes. Instead of, well, you got this and you got to do that. Oh, but before you do that, you got to do this over here.

Speaker A: Yeah, that are like minutia stuff. Like it's really easy to break items or like make items and then they break the gameplay because the system is too math. And then it's like, well, now I have to nerf it.

Speaker B: Not fun. Yeah, that's right. Yeah.

Speaker A: Dungeon World. Well, this one actually is fine for making items too. After realizing Dungeon World's like the best, you just put crazy stuff behind the, the 2D 610 plus 79 minus. It's like, well, and then if you really want to make it fun, you just make it flat roll. So then they're like 75% chance of rolling 10 or less or rolling less than 10. So they always get mixed or they splat fail without the spawn. Daggerheart. After like watching the Umbra series and then reading it, it's got a really good mix of narrative like flow, but with a little bit with some tactical with tactical stuff in it that does bog it down.

Speaker B: And the, the.

Speaker E: See if you can find it.

Speaker A: Yeah, I, I, I can drop, I'll drop the PDF too in the discord so you guys can like start reading it.

Speaker B: And then.

Speaker A: Because I don't, I don't know how available the the book is and then check. I'll drop a link to their website too. So if you want, I'm saying like the starter edition. I come to all the cards and.

Speaker E: Everything, but I see like just the book.

Speaker C: I think I seen the book on Amazon, but it doesn't come with PDF.

Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, that's like if you, if it's, if you want balls. It's best to get it from their website because if you buy the book, you get the PDF.

Speaker C: I think you can get just a PDF.

Speaker A: Yes you can. So that's where I was initially gonna buy it. Then I went and looked at their website. It's like, oh, you get the PDF too. And so I wanted to buy the, the hard book and the cards and stuff too.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: So I was gonna like buy them both, but then I was like went to their website and like, oh, well one but that's a much better deal. Yeah, yeah, I'll drop that so you guys can like look at that. So I guess that will be your.

Speaker E: Standard than I triple gum and parents.

Speaker D: Like you're hosting. Yeah, yeah, I'm gonna hang out to.

Speaker B: My holy bath boy.
