Speaker A: Just open the door. It's like. I'm starting with 11 fear. It's like, oh, that's.
Speaker B: That's.
Speaker C: Just go back out.
Speaker D: You blazing goring now or in later?
Speaker B: Jesus brag.
Speaker E: Yeah. All the fear I have.
Speaker A: Which.
Speaker B: Let's tell our dice that it's a bit hope net, you know, bing power.
Speaker A: Dice or tag team from big boss.
Speaker E: Yep.
Speaker D: You have to yell your dice. If the man in front of you dies, pick up his gun and shoot the Russian style. Right. You have a magazine. If the guy in front of you has no ammo, give you magazine.
Speaker B: That was so brutal.
Speaker A: And that's the tag team.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker E: Okay.
Speaker A: I got the hope. I pick up their equipment and. Yeah, that was.
Speaker C: You good for fists, actually.
Speaker D: Fallen grand fist and these Falling grandfist. No one would make it up. Have like 10 character sheets.
Speaker C: Yeah, just keep generating it in front of everyone.
Speaker E: Just has a laugh. You can use the website.
Speaker C: We have a pad of paper. As soon as one character's dead, we just rip it off and crumple it up and the next one's ready to go.
Speaker A: Which one was it? This is the same guys who did Darkness Rising, where the guy had had a bard and he had this guy sitting next to him making out character feeds as fast as he could as the big bed was just blowing it up left and right.
Speaker D: Old school, didn't you think?
Speaker E: Yeah, we did a.
Speaker D: When.
Speaker B: I guess when Blake slash Mike was visiting, we did.
Speaker E: Kind of did that with goblins in May, second edition. Yeah, everyone had.
Speaker B: Sounds awesome.
Speaker E: 10 goblins. It was pretty fun. It was a sick way to do, like, kind of like a funnel.
Speaker B: Yeah. 10 goblins.
Speaker E: All right. I guess with four, we'll do. I have 11 fear, which we repeat, and then we'll. We'll do some dice rolls for various things happening in the world. So everybody can get out your 2D12 and just roll. Then I'll be still around the table.
Speaker A: Well, this is actually good to know that fear doesn't reset like some of the other character stacks.
Speaker D: That's nice.
Speaker E: You don't know.
Speaker B: Yeah, we're all wrong.
Speaker E: Yep. Everybody needs to roll for.
Speaker D: That's a garbage hole.
Speaker B: Just flat.
Speaker E: Yep. This is just flat. This is just a.
Speaker D: Okay, I rolled in fear, so we're starting off right.
Speaker E: No, none of this. None of this stuff generates here. Yeah, it just.
Speaker D: We got two fear over here.
Speaker C: I got 20 with fear.
Speaker E: All right, let's just. I'll just go around. So 14 with hope.
Speaker B: With hope.
Speaker E: Okay.
Speaker B: It's all down here. Yep.
Speaker E: All right. Steve, what did you get?
Speaker B: Doubles are crits scary.
Speaker E: 13. All right, West 20 with beer. Thanks. Have a. Cole has just been taken over the net.
Speaker D: Seven with fear.
Speaker E: Seven.
Speaker B: You're so proud of that roll.
Speaker D: Jock throwing.
Speaker E: All right, so let's do another round of rolls.
Speaker A: Oh, no.
Speaker E: Yep. Everyone do a round of rolls. All right. Follow it.
Speaker B: I just got his rule. Seven with fear.
Speaker E: Okay, then, Steve. Yeah.
Speaker D: Tonight might be bad.
Speaker A: Eight fear.
Speaker D: Get them out now.
Speaker C: Seventeen with fear.
Speaker E: Okay. Seventeen with fear.
Speaker D: There we go.
Speaker A: I wanted to switch out one of those dice.
Speaker D: Ten with fear.
Speaker E: Well, hold on. For years.
Speaker B: I'm just gonna go home now.
Speaker C: I am afraid.
Speaker E: So that was. That's is how wars were going.
Speaker B: Now we're going to roll. Fearful.
Speaker E: Now we're going to roll. So what Was yours, Nick?
Speaker D: 10 would fear. 10 with fear.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker E: All right. All right. Yep. Everyone can roll again.
Speaker B: Oh, yeah. What are we rolling place?
Speaker D: I got those fingers.
Speaker B: Yeah, I got fear again. What was this roll for?
Speaker E: This is for this railroad stuff.
Speaker D: Jock's building. The river, the mine, the brave landing, the braves landing.
Speaker B: For.
Speaker E: Okay, what do you roll?
Speaker B: 22 created the railroad making some good progress from Rattle City tonight.
Speaker E: I will actually do a summary, I.
Speaker B: Guess if I fail.
Speaker E: Actually I should say. Well, you guys, your players don't know this, so they're your characters. Do you guys want above table information.
Speaker B: For how the general stuff is?
Speaker D: Maybe when we're in the area.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker D: Yeah, we're just out in the world.
Speaker E: We don't know. Yeah, so you won't know if we.
Speaker A: Get in the room with the. The railroads.
Speaker E: Jock would get like a weekly report.
Speaker D: Josh wouldn't send that in.
Speaker B: Hey, guys.
Speaker E: All right, Steve, What'd you get?
Speaker A: 14 with Hope. He has to swap out those decks.
Speaker E: All right, Wes, what'd you roll?
Speaker C: I got a 13th fear.
Speaker B: Okay. All right. Unless you were expelled from the table.
Speaker C: Every time going great.
Speaker D: So.
Speaker E: Actually, yeah, Railroad progress did pretty good. Except for the phantom baked and brave landing.
Speaker D: Everything.
Speaker E: They had issues. All right.
Speaker A: Why do you have a minigun on that wall?
Speaker E: All right, Wes, this is for Cash. It's just a flat roll.
Speaker B: Did you need my roll? No, that's only a six with fee.
Speaker D: Yeah, I don't even know if it's.
Speaker C: Possible at this point. I've never seen it.
Speaker A: So Cash found something scary in that box.
Speaker E: All right.
Speaker A: He has an evil child.
Speaker D: Found the bell. Run.
Speaker E: All right, Steve, I have a couple rolls for you.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker E: Give me just a D6 roll first. Now you found this game and then a 2D12. So I guess you can roll.
Speaker B: Cool.
Speaker E: So what's the.
Speaker D: We don't need to find six.
Speaker E: Six. Okay. And then would you.
Speaker A: And 12 with Pope on the D12s.
Speaker D: All right.
Speaker E: And I got one more for you Steve for a 2D12.
Speaker A: 13 with Hope.
Speaker E: All right.
Speaker A: All I can tell you is Audrey's not quite dead yet.
Speaker B: But.
Speaker A: That'S about it.
Speaker E: Updated going on the goal. Okay, so let's see.
Speaker B: I don't need any.
Speaker E: All right, so this was due last time.
Speaker B: We rebuilt our characters.
Speaker E: I guess you guys did then you did some downtime. Audrey crafted his Reora ring. Ash is minded managing the carnival. Jack's building. Doc's learning about his himself.
Speaker B: We can get up and there's new things he can do.
Speaker E: And then Doc and Ramsey's plan to rally the Hell Riders.
Speaker B: We kind of did a time skip.
Speaker E: Over a month where Cash introduced Junior.
Speaker B: His giant unusual son in quotation marks to the party.
Speaker E: Before leaving for new projects Jock announced his retirement from a directive entering to work on infrastructure appointing Edgar to replace him. Edgar joined.
Speaker B: He's a noble bard.
Speaker E: And then you guys set out for spotted Spider after a desperate messenger arrived asking for help about people being getting disappeared out.
Speaker C: Oh 5J.
Speaker E: Yep. You guys arrived at the kitties cantina. So that's where we pick up now I guess the Ramsay's thing too. She said she'd be back before New Year's which is like two months away for her report on the state of the pell writers.
Speaker B: So.
Speaker E: Yeah. So you guys are at Kitty's canteen which I'll leave that description shortly.
Speaker B: Eaton.
Speaker E: And you have swept Swift Crest is searching the woods. The surrounding woods. And then Steve, I did print you out a new Swift Crest pack thing for the horror talents. I don't remember it but yeah, it's probably right there.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker E: Okay.
Speaker B: So what your spellcasting dream is.
Speaker E: It should be on your character card.
Speaker D: Yeah, your class card, your hero.
Speaker E: Yeah, your class card.
Speaker B: It'll be.
Speaker D: Mine's underneath the title.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker E: Okay.
Speaker B: That's what it says. Yeah.
Speaker D: Strength of spell cast.
Speaker B: Yep.
Speaker D: Panel of the flex.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: Full Metal Alchemist.
Speaker E: Yeah, that's true. There's any. There's any sess character like start session stuff you need to do.
Speaker B: I just had a thing at the beginning of the session. I have to call it dice and go to life.
Speaker D: Were we sitting in here eating, drinking or did we just bargain?
Speaker E: I'd say you guys because you guys did talk a little bit when you got here to kid. No, that's fine. Which we can pick up with you guys arriving, got a table at K's Cantina.
Speaker B: Two stories.
Speaker E: First floor is like bar and dance stage. Tables, gaming tables. Second floors, rooms for encounters, dealings and private games. So there would probably be a set of like cabaret dancers up on the stage dancing.
Speaker B: While you guys are.
Speaker E: I've arrived and walked in and get greeted by Kitty.
Speaker B: He's the owner.
Speaker E: Athletic body, like dancer. Sky blue eyes, Long flowing one black.
Speaker B: Hair, has a Haitian accent. Yeah. So it just goes, oh, what? Welcome to Kitties. What can I do for you? Drinks, alcohol, girls, guys, games, gambling, some booger sugar.
Speaker D: What's booger sugar?
Speaker B: Reduces your stress.
Speaker D: Okay.
Speaker C: Are you stressed?
Speaker D: Not stressed right now.
Speaker A: Are you stressed?
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker B: A good time?
Speaker C: I don't think so.
Speaker D: Maybe later. We're hear about some spider problem.
Speaker E: Oh, it was disappearing loggers. Loggers. Yeah. Yeah. So. Yeah. And he's like, oh, that's wonderful. So I don't remember the. I don't even know if I gave the messenger.
Speaker B: He disappeared, right? Yeah. Let me check my notes. I'm sure he gave him.
Speaker E: Maybe I didn't understand.
Speaker B: Disappears. Pilsner.
Speaker E: All right, so the messenger's name was.
Speaker B: Irma. Yeah. Should make it. Should be really disappearing Lagger.
Speaker C: Yeah, sounds great.
Speaker B: It says lag a little longer, but.
Speaker D: Just disappears when it fills out.
Speaker B: Sounds like disappears. When I drink, this is a good thing.
Speaker A: Butter, beer and the disappearing lager.
Speaker D: Once it gets warm, it disappears.
Speaker B: I drink it quick.
Speaker D: I figure this.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker B: Sir.
Speaker E: J's, like, oh, you guys. Irma got to you.
Speaker B: I guess you're from Braves Landing.
Speaker D: We are.
Speaker E: And she kind of like, I guess, looks at Doc and Audrey and it's like, oh, I. I recognize you guys. Right? You.
Speaker B: You've been here before, I think. A while back.
Speaker A: What's with Ramses?
Speaker E: Oh, yes, that's coming back to her.
Speaker D: Yeah, that was like a year ago.
Speaker E: How's Ramses?
Speaker C: She doing well?
Speaker B: She's been excellent. Better than she's been in many years. Well, that's good to hear. I'm sure Creepy would love to hear that. Creepy? Do I know Creepy? I remember his name.
Speaker E: You just remember his name? You guys never. You didn't meet him.
Speaker D: Why is he named Creepy?
Speaker B: He goes.
Speaker E: I don't know.
Speaker B: He.
Speaker E: That was his nickname, I guess. Is it the Pell Riders?
Speaker B: I don't know. He runs the law, runs the town. He lives in the Tail Riders? Yes, sir. Pretty much like, talk to him. I'll send him. I can send a runner over to.
Speaker E: His house, see if he didn't.
Speaker B: I'll go visit his home.
Speaker E: Well he usually doesn't take finally to unknowns coming through his door.
Speaker B: We have some pop ups in call.
Speaker E: Yeah it's better if I send a.
Speaker A: Message send him to dinner before you go yourself.
Speaker E: He also made It's a good chance he's likely out in the woods looking for the loggers as well.
Speaker B: If he doesn't know yet and he's.
Speaker A: Got an itchy trigger finger, you might make it to the door but no further.
Speaker B: Interesting introduction.
Speaker A: It would be. It would be enlightening to us.
Speaker E: And then she just goes yo, Rodeo, come over here. And you see a tall young.
Speaker B: Got someplace.
Speaker E: I didn't write a gender down so.
Speaker B: She'S a lady now or lady.
Speaker E: She comes over amber eyes and green ivy green hair.
Speaker B: Yes, miss Kitty. What can I do for you? She's like all right, I need you to go send Take a message to creepy and let him know he's. What was your name again, sir? The message for creepy. Friend of. Ramsey's.
Speaker E: All right.
Speaker B: You'd like to set up a meeting. Very nice. All right.
Speaker E: All right.
Speaker B: R. You got that? It's like this ma' am takes off.
Speaker E: The G. Kitty looks back. He goes all right, you guys.
Speaker B: Table some food.
Speaker E: You look like you well traveled.
Speaker C: Can we.
Speaker B: Yep, might as well.
Speaker D: Why we're here.
Speaker A: Yeah, I need to try a new thing.
Speaker D: Table and food and beard or whatever you.
Speaker C: Jelly toast, please.
Speaker B: Sure thing. What's your name, honey?
Speaker C: Junior.
Speaker B: All right, Junior, we'll get you some jelly and toast. There's some junior cops.
Speaker E: I just cracked up.
Speaker B: Sorry.
Speaker E: Anything else for the rest of you guys?
Speaker B: Any drinks?
Speaker D: I take a drink and some food.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: What's hot tonight?
Speaker E: She looks up at the stage.
Speaker A: Yeah, but I can't eat anything.
Speaker E: Or at the gaming table and it's like.
Speaker B: Probably be a little more specific.
Speaker E: You're talking food. Well, we got.
Speaker B: We got some good. We got some fresh mountain oysters.
Speaker D: You should try some of those. Andre.
Speaker A: Think about that. Never been big for seafood.
Speaker E: She chuckling oh, honey, they ain't from the sea.
Speaker B: We're a long way for seafood.
Speaker A: That alone makes him very wary.
Speaker E: It's like if you don't gotta. If you hadn't had a testicle.
Speaker B: Say taste one.
Speaker A: Okay, but only if I'm sharing the experience here with my friends. Nah, that's nothing against your creed.
Speaker B: Oh, it's not about that.
Speaker C: I'll eat identical.
Speaker B: Everything I think personal has to do with. All right, I'll bring a taste a.
Speaker E: Tasting platter of them.
Speaker C: Different seasonings.
Speaker D: Very bored of mountain Oysters?
Speaker C: Oh, they're meatballs, you know.
Speaker B: Essentially pretty much.
Speaker E: She, like, spins and walks off and yells the order to the small kitchen back there.
Speaker B: Starts getting your drinks and comes back sachets up to the table, Sets them down on the tables, like, all right, gentlemen.
Speaker A: Anything else?
Speaker D: We're good.
Speaker A: I need a bowler stew or something. Unless we're done with our taster.
Speaker B: Fresh clam chowder. Corn chowder.
Speaker A: I mean.
Speaker B: Sorry.
Speaker D: I was gonna say I don't eat the clam chowder.
Speaker B: Yeah. You don't have seafood.
Speaker A: I don't have clam. What was the name of that stuff in the bucket when we were doing the Warhammer?
Speaker B: Yes, the. Was the chum bucket restaurant named.
Speaker E: Yeah, it was like. I think it had, like, onion husk soup or something.
Speaker C: Oh, yeah.
Speaker B: And, like, rolled off of a random table. So it's been.
Speaker D: Yeah, that's nasty.
Speaker B: That's all.
Speaker A: When I got called clam chowder, it reminded me of that.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: Order some soup and bread and jelly.
Speaker B: For our friends here. Yep. That's all in one ch.
Speaker A: Quite tasty.
Speaker E: Right?
Speaker A: I think Audrey might still have an old jar in it.
Speaker D: Oh.
Speaker E: A year for preserves.
Speaker D: But that's not a. I don't know in this time.
Speaker C: Unless it hatches tem bet. Sure.
Speaker D: It might look pretty good.
Speaker A: We'll just figure he. He enjoyed that on some fresh bread every now and then.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: Nagger holds up a glass. Like, to life. To the journey and the adventure. And you guys take a rally dice.
Speaker C: Remind me what a rally Dice.
Speaker D: That's a D6 for any role.
Speaker B: Did we have something else to do? We have.
Speaker E: And that's the tag team token. Yeah.
Speaker D: So you can add a D6 to anything. Even damage.
Speaker C: Okay.
Speaker E: For one roll.
Speaker D: For one roll.
Speaker B: Yeah. I have the ability to add an.
Speaker A: Armor, but it's like between rest. So it doesn't make sense to do it now.
Speaker B: But next Monday. Cool.
Speaker A: Tanking out in front, though. We do better in him. True armor as much as we can.
Speaker B: Actually, I think he'll be taken out in front of. I might be hoping. But very much more him time. Your shield in that case. Which is the most beautiful skill on the table right now.
Speaker E: Yeah. So, you know, 15 minutes later, whenever.
Speaker D: Your food arrives.
Speaker E: Dancers are swapped out.
Speaker B: To a different routine.
Speaker C: I like the dancing.
Speaker D: Very good.
Speaker A: It is a pleasant break from our normal routine.
Speaker C: I've never seen nothing like it.
Speaker A: We're gonna have a lot of first, Junior. This comes from Robbie. Where his. He got his first alcohol from a yacht.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker C: So we just gotta go find Some loggers and we're done.
Speaker D: Then we can go back.
Speaker C: And rescue the pale riders.
Speaker E: So how long do you guys want to.
Speaker B: Stay? What time did we get here?
Speaker E: About midday.
Speaker D: Eat up and in like 20, 30 minutes.
Speaker B: All right.
Speaker A: Probably hang out for a bit in.
Speaker B: Case the expectation that creepy was going to come right away or just see if.
Speaker C: If creepy's here.
Speaker E: They went to go. Yeah. Just see if he creepy. Maybe a message. So. Yeah, that's why I was asking like the person will be badly. I'd say that like you guys sit here for an hour. Like. Yeah. Probably within 30 minutes after the rodeo left, she would come back and let you know that Creepy is out and is expected back for dinner.
Speaker C: Okay, well we got time then.
Speaker B: Go, go. Yeah.
Speaker D: See what we can find.
Speaker C: Hooked for loggers.
Speaker A: Do we know what we're hunting for?
Speaker D: We're looking for loggers.
Speaker C: Just looking for loggers.
Speaker E: That's. Yeah. I think there is talk of like a weird mist and like this.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker E: The actual spotted spiders that they like farm or been agitated.
Speaker A: Yeah. So the agitation.
Speaker E: Okay.
Speaker B: Thank the messenger. Head up.
Speaker E: Since. Because you guys did send the talents out last session or I guess so. They are also looking around.
Speaker B: So I'd probably check with them first.
Speaker E: Yeah. Why don't you give me a. A role and if you want to add their Any experience. They do have advantage for tracking but they're not actually really tracking anything yet. So that would apply. But you can spend a. Hope to use their predator. Yeah.
Speaker B: Okay. Give up hope.
Speaker A: Dry it on sheep.
Speaker B: That's true.
Speaker A: It's not flat. That was flat. So that would be 13 with some fear if it applies.
Speaker E: Yeah, we'll say that applies. Yeah. It was an actual. For the. So they're.
Speaker A: Balance between the 3 and 11.
Speaker E: I'll say. Yeah. So I will.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker E: They're running around. I guess they're searching. And you talk to. What was it? It was 13 with fear. Is that what you.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker E: Yeah. So that was a failure with fear. So. Yeah. So you hear from the pooh, they're searching.
Speaker D: Around.
Speaker E: And they come. They find a patch of like mist that envelops. The pack and they all mark the stress. And you hear.
Speaker A: Did we take the whole pack or just.
Speaker E: I think he only took five. Well, no, I don't remember.
Speaker D: Andrew.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker A: Because I know we had the 1 3, 2 US derived. I just want to be able to mark this dress.
Speaker E: Yeah. I'll just say that five of them came out one extra. So you can. It's not quite the. It's almost the Equivalent of a curse.
Speaker D: From a horror talent.
Speaker E: But here that's not magic bad. I. I'd ask him where you would get like a. He says roughly like.
Speaker A: If he can meet us and take us there.
Speaker E: Yeah. He'd say.
Speaker B: Get you close.
Speaker E: We can't proceed.
Speaker B: Too painful.
Speaker A: Understand? Get us as close as we can and we'll. We'll check it from then.
Speaker B: And then.
Speaker A: I would share the findings.
Speaker E: So I guess that too that. Do you want them to come straight into town or are you just. Are you guys leaving to go meet them?
Speaker A: We'll leave with me.
Speaker B: Yeah. We're just in the. We're just in the bars and everybody just calm down. You're gonna see some critters coming in tent.
Speaker E: Really nice.
Speaker A: Find a spot just on the outside by the wall.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker B: Far enough out that nobody's gonna accidentally see it.
Speaker E: Yeah. So I guess what I did. I burnt that. That fear I earned to activate an environment effect.
Speaker B: It was not raining.
Speaker E: It's. It's actually downpouring. Always rain. Yeah.
Speaker C: Doesn't cost anything.
Speaker E: It's a downpour right now.
Speaker D: Always soaked.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker A: You can carry your own small cistern.
Speaker B: On the back of the animal.
Speaker D: I would say that's for sure.
Speaker E: And you guys were probably traveling too fast to notice this, but as you walk out of. Out of town, you'll kind of notice. Edgar's not wet.
Speaker B: What.
Speaker C: What come you.
Speaker B: A gift from.
Speaker A: From who?
Speaker C: I want that.
Speaker D: Have to die to meet them now.
Speaker B: Don't rush yourself. I think you've been alive about what.
Speaker D: Yeah. Don't rush it. Enjoy the journey.
Speaker C: You can come back from dead.
Speaker D: Apparently.
Speaker A: Till then, you're just wet with the rest of us.
Speaker B: I like getting wet. I want to be dead too. Horses there?
Speaker E: Yeah. So I was at you guys like walked like 10, 15 minutes out of town. And then the pack rides right up to you or comes running right up to you. You can see that there's like. It's almost like boils on parts of their skin as it's like it's healing up.
Speaker B: But.
Speaker A: Have they ever run into something like this before?
Speaker E: No. Yeah. So. So Le Poo would just be. Just be like.
Speaker B: Bad admin, bad magic.
Speaker A: From where the mist is. Can they get us up wing.
Speaker B: If.
Speaker A: Possible a high spot where we can look down.
Speaker E: Not with. Since it's like forest and jungly. No you wouldn't. They won't be able to build. They like there wouldn't be a vantage point that you'd be able to find.
Speaker D: Okay.
Speaker A: Well then at least up land.
Speaker C: As.
Speaker A: Dangerous as the mist is, I don't want to pull him back on this tug when you walk into it.
Speaker E: So yeah, so the Pooh's just like, yes, that's done. And all of them might come up and dip their shoulders so you guys.
Speaker B: Can get on.
Speaker D: And always another ride. Another ride.
Speaker A: As we're doing our 15 minute walk.
Speaker B: I want to do the Tarot.
Speaker A: Heavens armor anyway. I'll spend a hope and it'll give a plus one bonus to the armor of a junior. I can do that once per rest. Just to enhance your stack. Yeah, you've got what, 14.
Speaker E: Oh, that's the armor slots.
Speaker C: Yeah, armor slots.
Speaker B: My damage threshold is 10v.
Speaker E: Yeah. So you guys get on and ride kind of like northwest ish northeast. All right. For another 15 or 20 minutes.
Speaker A: That's a good clip.
Speaker E: To the. To like the edges area. You can kind of see like there's like.
Speaker B: The.
Speaker E: It's kind of like dissipated a little bit. It's not super dense right now, but you can see like this kind of like red mist kind of like creeping along the ground, obscuring the ground slightly about maybe like a foot above it as it's like coins. Very similar to like CO2. Like dry ice. Dry ice. Yeah. I kind of like it like billows or the. I guess the nitrogen.
Speaker C: Loggers.
Speaker E: The Pugos.
Speaker B: Death smell.
Speaker E: And he kind of like points toward like in. Deeper into the mist.
Speaker B: Many trolleys you have, I look at you really tell anything.
Speaker D: Is the vegetation like dead?
Speaker E: No, I didn't. No. The area looks normal. It's the only thing that looks abnormal is like this kind of like reddish mist that's like hugging the ground about a foot off and it just goes. You can kind of like see the perimeter of the area, but it's pretty large.
Speaker A: Is there like a path that we can see going into the nest or is it just there?
Speaker E: Would be like. There would be. You would see like, like looking around. There would be like game trails and stuff.
Speaker B: But through the mist. Like the mist is still on those trails.
Speaker E: Yeah, there's nothing. Yeah, there's no pass through any of the mist. It's just there, emanating.
Speaker C: All right, should I go first?
Speaker D: Stick your hand out first.
Speaker C: Me too.
Speaker E: I do it.
Speaker B: Ed sticks his hand out.
Speaker E: It kind of like whooshes around.
Speaker D: Any burning or freezing or pain, I step in, I guess. No.
Speaker E: Yeah, you walk in and it. Yeah, it just kind of like moves away like a. Like, you know, just like the same way. If you like sweep your hand through like smoke, the fog machines or whatever it kind of the air disturbs it but then it kind of just settles back around you.
Speaker C: Seems fine to me.
Speaker D: So the adventure needs. Let's go.
Speaker B: So what hurt the creatures buffered?
Speaker A: Not quite sure. Well biology be completely different and I thought it was something animal related. So it could be there's a portal somewhere in the mist.
Speaker B: Well just so I understand did this hurt them going into the mist or did it hurt them?
Speaker A: I would relay the question I say.
Speaker E: As they were listening. You know Lau would have like just spoken your into Audrey's into your head.
Speaker B: At least I'd be used to this by now. So I would just speak to Leu.
Speaker E: Yeah. So yeah he Lau had just. Missed Rose burned We leave.
Speaker A: Is that a type of plane like.
Speaker E: No mist rose like rose up. Mist rose up.
Speaker D: How high is it right now?
Speaker E: Like a foot.
Speaker B: Oh yeah. It's not.
Speaker D: Seems fine to me.
Speaker C: I'll leave the wood.
Speaker B: What wouldn't want to do if mist rose. If mist rise find the tops of why.
Speaker D: Climb a tree.
Speaker B: Doc's gonna say just a second. We'll see Doc unfurl some golden golden wings out of nowhere just goes. He just flexes and just goes and he goes. Just takes off up in the air.
Speaker C: I didn't know we could do that.
Speaker E: What are the wings look like? What do they look like? Are they like physical or more like they.
Speaker B: They would look like they just materialized out of his back like they unfurled from somewhere. But they are more like once they're formed it looked like you could touch them but they obviously formed out of.
Speaker E: Like nowhere and are like I guess what kind of wings tectonic and so they're more like they kind of like angel wings.
Speaker B: Yeah right. Like a little bit. What's her face from Starcraft here again.
Speaker E: A little bit bony but yeah like this.
Speaker C: I try to spread my wings.
Speaker B: Doesn't work. Just give it time. You never know what you're doing is.
Speaker A: That you pull your arms in and go or you flap your arms up and try and get over top that.
Speaker C: Help me rig my armor.
Speaker B: That's when I go up a bit just to see like if I can see farther out.
Speaker E: Yeah. So as you. As you. You fly up I'd say you'd see it's fairly dense but you don't really see like you can kind of see like it's almost like a sphere that's fairly echoes pretty far. You don't see it like end or anything.
Speaker B: Okay. I don't see like a. I guess kind of a central Source from the ring.
Speaker E: Don't you give me.
Speaker B: What stat would that be? Or some kind of perception, Intuition.
Speaker D: Instinct is perceived sense.
Speaker E: Now I'm say instinct.
Speaker B: Yeah, that's instinct.
Speaker E: Instinct or knowledge. Because you could use knowledge to be, like, analyze. You can calculate.
Speaker B: I guess, crit. Well, that's not an action.
Speaker E: It is an action roll. I am. It wasn't reaction.
Speaker B: I just. 20, 22.
Speaker E: Double 11, double tens. I got to add from clear.
Speaker D: Yep.
Speaker B: It's all a damn.
Speaker E: I'd say. Yeah. As you get fly up and you kind of, like, fly around a little bit, you kind of get a sense of the. The circumference of this, like, circle. And it's probably, like, several hundred yards.
Speaker B: Okay. I kind of just keep a beat on where spook central is. Come back to me. Yes, we see me come back down. The wings are definitely, like, always glowing, but I'm going to try to. I tell, like, where the general center looks like and how big it is. I'm going to try to actually see if I can use the wings and actually try to keep tuft of the red gas away the red phone.
Speaker E: All right, that's. Yeah, let's actually go and see if.
Speaker B: We can do that.
Speaker E: We'll put this like a 10. Yeah, probably. Actually. Yeah, I'll leave it at 10.
Speaker B: This would be easy.
Speaker E: And then. Yeah, I'd say probably. Agility or finesse?
Speaker B: Either one.
Speaker A: 14.
Speaker B: Oh, fear. Oh, fear.
Speaker E: I was gonna say, is it.
Speaker B: It's a success.
Speaker E: Yeah. So you see, like, you kind of, like, are sweeping away, but it does, like, kind of just like fall. Fall back in behind you. And then as you're. Let's see. Yeah, I was gonna say as you're. As you're doing that.
Speaker B: Actually.
Speaker E: No, that was a success.
Speaker B: So it's just with fear.
Speaker E: Yeah, you just. It does, like, sweep it away, but it does, like, fall in behind you.
Speaker B: Okay. I'm like, well, that's not gonna work. So I just need to have a plan. Where was the source? Did you see that source? No, I didn't see one.
Speaker E: Right. No. You just got the rough idea of how big the area the center is that direction.
Speaker B: All right, gotcha.
Speaker C: I head off in that direction.
Speaker B: Junior. All right. If the fog rise, I can carry one person that's smaller than me, approximately my size are smaller. But what options do we have as we go in?
Speaker D: 3.
Speaker B: Get good at climbing. All right. And you can leave.
Speaker E: Right.
Speaker B: What do you still do? Did you take a hit? I don't remember.
Speaker E: Oh, no.
Speaker C: Okay.
Speaker D: Ash likes the voice.
Speaker B: Sleeps with it at night. Yeah.
Speaker A: That might end up being a side quest.
Speaker B: All right.
Speaker D: Just come back and jock like. Yeah, that killed Cash.
Speaker A: He fell to the whispers. Okay. Said she was the most beautiful thing you'd ever seen.
Speaker D: Trying to kill some people.
Speaker B: Start taking pieces. Yeah, keep going that way.
Speaker C: That's what's gonna happen.
Speaker D: Making masks. Someone's making masks.
Speaker E: Yeah. So, you guys, I guess. What's your marching order?
Speaker B: Junior up front.
Speaker D: That'd be next to Junior. I need a shield.
Speaker E: You guys got, like, minis or something? You could, like, lay them out on board.
Speaker D: No, those are from last.
Speaker B: Those are from the one shot.
Speaker C: There's a good ginger on the way.
Speaker B: There probably would be. So what would be a good description for Junior and just the giant or.
Speaker E: Like maybe one of these bored dudes with a big ax.
Speaker D: Big ax. I think there's a strong guy over there with an ax somewhere.
Speaker E: Yeah, there should be an ax wielder over there.
Speaker B: There's an ax guy. All right, perfect.
Speaker D: Yeah, that's the one up.
Speaker C: That's Junior.
Speaker A: There's that one with a duster that.
Speaker B: I used for the warrior before.
Speaker E: I think he got put back. Yeah.
Speaker A: Yeah, that one worked. I think it was a little darker.
Speaker D: Than last time I saw him, but there might be.
Speaker E: They're probably the dark gray version of the one of that guy. Some reason.
Speaker B: But no, this one from hero for there's a top guy, like long arms. I don't remember him. Let me do.
Speaker A: Visualize yourself with wings.
Speaker E: Right. So I don't think I have any guys with wings.
Speaker B: But they do kind of look like dragon.
Speaker A: Dragon.
Speaker B: We'll take it.
Speaker D: There you go.
Speaker B: Hell, yeah.
Speaker D: Dark string.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: These are devil.
Speaker B: Yeah, I'll find something.
Speaker A: I guess you need one with wings and one without.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: Let's take one of the dragons.
Speaker B: It's a big white one. Maybe I'll make like a hero.
Speaker D: They should be having a black pride really soon.
Speaker E: It should be. Yeah.
Speaker D: Right now, if you get one printed, it's like 20 bucks that built Edgar.
Speaker E: Wow.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Years ago I remember getting STL files, but I've never had a 3D printer.
Speaker E: Yeah, because we had Andrew.
Speaker B: Andrew had one, but Google printed a couple ones, but.
Speaker D: Yeah, it might not be set up anymore with a kid.
Speaker E: But. Yeah. So you guys start walking in.
Speaker B: And.
Speaker E: I guess too you like. It's kind of like extra quiet in here.
Speaker B: Just killed everything, probably.
Speaker E: Yeah. So as you guys are walking in, I'm gonna spend a beer and I need all of you guys to do either a strength or Agility reaction as if like all these roots like still TD12. Yeah. TD12 roots. And you shoot out of the ground and like try and grab grab you. And it's 11 or better.
Speaker B: 17.
Speaker E: Yeah. I say hope fear doesn't matter on the reaction roll. So you just need me.
Speaker B: I finally get off.
Speaker C: I know same and I don't get it.
Speaker E: So did anyone fail 17 would fear.
Speaker A: Oh it's useless.
Speaker E: Yeah. So yeah, as you guys are walking, you guys feel the the these roots and vines like try to grasp. You shoot up from the ground. All of you dodge out of the way except for Doc. He gets grabbed.
Speaker B: Oh and I'm going to spend another fear.
Speaker E: And then Doc, as you feel these like vines wrap around your legs, thorns stab into you and draw blood for one direct damage. Which means you can't spend armor to reduce it.
Speaker B: And does the duster protect against it?
Speaker E: That's true. You have to. You could. Yeah. We'll say well I'll allow that for this you don't have to actually doesn't matter. I think it'll block it anyways.
Speaker B: Okay. But if it weren't for the duster.
Speaker E: So I think you can't roll less than a one.
Speaker C: So the nester screens.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker E: Yep. Yeah. So obviously the vines like wrap up and into the duster and stab it and you just see the thing like kind of like shriek and burn up on the repel. Repulse the or prevent the spines from digging into your flesh. But you are still restrained. So yeah. So Doc is tied up at the spot.
Speaker A: Did you say you're fire resistant?
Speaker E: Wow.
Speaker B: Going on questions your friends ask you? Nope.
Speaker E: So yeah, it's so to break out. It's a still strength agility and then if someone wants to help you, they can spend hope to give you advantage.
Speaker C: Question.
Speaker B: For my Dracona ability. Am I immune to my own ability?
Speaker E: So I'd assume so. Ancestry. Be kind of funny.
Speaker B: Burn yourself is the elemental bad.
Speaker E: And just I mean you can use a breath against a target or a group of targets. I'd say I assume you have the control to just like burn. So I would see you wouldn't have to burn yourself.
Speaker B: So you just see my mouth open up and this glow comes out and you just see me go and this fire just goes around your head.
Speaker E: I see.
Speaker B: So it's an instinct weapon.
Speaker D: He's full of surprises.
Speaker E: So yeah she'd be queen stink which is still. It's 11 or better.
Speaker D: There we go.
Speaker B: I failed it.
Speaker A: Or RP points or you know, the.
Speaker E: Hope though yeah, yeah, yeah. I was going to say I'm too restrained. Yeah, I was going to say. Yeah. Between the restraint and then. Yeah, they still like maintain their. Maybe a little bit fire resistant.
Speaker A: So he'd probably be immune to his fire. But any other fire would be Mike cooker.
Speaker D: So big old Ax Jr. Take a swing.
Speaker E: I'll burn another out here, see what happens. Actually, let's see. Let's put it.
Speaker B: Okay. Yeah, yeah.
Speaker E: So the. The vines tighten again to try and pierce your flesh for four direct damage. So that you can use now you'll get a little.
Speaker B: Hey, the arm protects me. Oh, my goodness. His elderite duster is good in both systems.
Speaker E: All right. So.
Speaker B: Yep.
Speaker E: So doc is still trapped.
Speaker B: All right.
Speaker C: Can I try to hack him out?
Speaker D: Yeah, don't hit his feet or his legs.
Speaker E: So you can also.
Speaker B: Would the vines have stress.
Speaker E: In this case?
Speaker B: I mean, dress up too long.
Speaker E: Why like, what are you finding?
Speaker B: Well, just saying that the duster does the screening, but they're not adamant. But the stress would be different.
Speaker E: Yeah, it would. It would cause stress to just answer that question.
Speaker B: Yeah. Okay, cool.
Speaker E: So yeah, Junior, you want to try and chop the vines.
Speaker C: Yeah, I just roll like a strength melee.
Speaker B: Yep.
Speaker E: Your attack roll 11 or better.
Speaker C: 14 with fear.
Speaker E: All right, I'll take the fear and. Yeah. And you successfully chop him out without chopping doc. All right. So Doc is no longer restrained.
Speaker B: So can I just basically fly indefinitely?
Speaker E: Doesn't I think it's Bruce that you pro. You might be. You know, this says you could fly then. Yeah, that's probably what it means then.
Speaker B: I see me after those blinds hit.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: Sometimes go. And I'm like 10ft.
Speaker A: Walk across the tops of the trees and leave us below.
Speaker B: Not that far.
Speaker E: Yeah, yeah. You just fly. You can mark a stress to pick up and carry somebody or spend a hope to deal extra dibs. I remember. Yeah. Because Towson, he was a fairy. He was flying around. It's flying. So. Yeah.
Speaker C: Watch out for those plants.
Speaker B: Yeah. How far did they reach?
Speaker E: I go.
Speaker B: I go up just past that.
Speaker E: So they're just crawling up your lake. They're just trying to find your guys's lake.
Speaker B: So 10 coffee up. We'll say 12. So there you go.
Speaker D: All right.
Speaker B: All right.
Speaker E: So doc's flying and then the rest of you guys keep going. Yeah.
Speaker C: Good job, dude.
Speaker B: Forward. So I'll just kind of take a middle position over the top of the group.
Speaker E: Okay.
Speaker B: Oh, we do have a elevation. Oh, yeah. First time we've used an elevation.
Speaker E: Yeah, you can just re high.
Speaker B: Like 30ft there.
Speaker E: I don't know if there's.
Speaker B: They have. I have much better short ones. Representational. Yeah, yeah.
Speaker E: Just like a bunch of little ones.
Speaker B: Less short. Make it shorter.
Speaker E: I don't think I have. I don't think any of those are in pieces.
Speaker B: Maybe they.
Speaker E: I don't remember.
Speaker B: Yeah, okay.
Speaker E: Yeah, you can take them apart. Yeah, I know that. I just couldn't remember if it's the long one here.
Speaker B: That's really cool.
Speaker E: Yeah. So doc's floating above you guys.
Speaker D: Knocks are moved away. He actually bought him up that way.
Speaker E: Yeah. The fog still sit like a foot. So. Yeah. Yeah. So you guys continue walking into the fog.
Speaker B: I guess I should ask is Mithras. Would it be fire or would it be light or something?
Speaker E: I. I would say generally it would. Whatever it is, it'll be like gold colored. So if you want it to be like lightning or fire or.
Speaker B: Whatever would be the chosen version that myth represents. What would be the bulk in.
Speaker E: Like golden white would be this general themes would be golden white.
Speaker B: So. Okay, cool.
Speaker E: That hasn't been defined for m. Regardless. So if you want it to look.
Speaker B: A certain way, that's what it look like. Sounds good.
Speaker E: All right. Yeah. So you guys trolling along next? What do we do?
Speaker B: Let's do one group. Just a flat rule.
Speaker E: Let's say who wants to. This will be like to find like locate like the source or get to the center.
Speaker B: Well, I went up and saw where it was at.
Speaker E: No, Doc is flying I central. So Doc will be the last barrier. Wants to lead.
Speaker B: That's okay.
Speaker E: So we'll say Doc's leading. So. Yeah, so this would be. This will be.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker E: Sense. So this would be the sense. Yeah. So this will be instinct.
Speaker B: Use my knowledge.
Speaker E: Is it your search like your search like you know, the rough area, but you're searching for like the actual.
Speaker B: I may not be the best buck up here.
Speaker C: I have plus one instance.
Speaker B: I'll try it.
Speaker E: All right, so you'll roll last. So the group roll is everybody will roll.
Speaker B: Instinct. Yep.
Speaker E: That will be. He'll need 11 or better a crit. Yeah. We'll just go so what did you. 11.
Speaker B: But we don't have four thunders, right?
Speaker E: No, not for these. Okay, so that's a plus one then you had crit.
Speaker B: Okay, so that's plus three.
Speaker E: Yeah, well, I think so. I don't remember if the crit. I think that's just a. Yeah, that's.
Speaker B: Just a plus one.
Speaker E: Yeah, let's roll plus one. So yeah, so we have plus three.
Speaker A: Happen now instead.
Speaker C: Instinct 22 with hope.
Speaker E: Really? Yeah.
Speaker C: So I actually mark hope on this.
Speaker E: Yeah, you would get the hope for the sensory. I did the.
Speaker B: Nice. Oh, nice. Okay.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker E: So you guys are trudging along towards the center and you locate a cape entrance.
Speaker B: What's that?
Speaker A: Doesn't this seem to be coming out of the cave?
Speaker E: It looks like. I mean the mist does just come up to like the cave. It doesn't look like it's just like rolling out because it is still like a sphere to this foundry.
Speaker D: Okay. Boundary died.
Speaker B: No, no, I. I forget to uncheck this stupid division.
Speaker E: Think vision boxes.
Speaker B: Into the cave.
Speaker D: Always in the cave.
Speaker A: I was born.
Speaker B: It's like something out of one word. Rat.
Speaker E: Closely.
Speaker B: Can you guys see the grid close enough?
Speaker E: Wouldn't have to be exact.
Speaker B: Just close. It's not close. Third over.
Speaker E: Zoomed out. Yeah.
Speaker B: Oops. That's like just over one and a quarter. In or out?
Speaker C: It's pretty close.
Speaker B: It's an eighth over. It doesn't need to be close enough.
Speaker E: Just means you need to tell me to zoom in or out.
Speaker B: Okay, that's close.
Speaker E: So you just put yourselves like down here.
Speaker D: Is this the cave entrance?
Speaker E: You see a cave entrance up here?
Speaker B: Where did we go?
Speaker E: Down there?
Speaker B: Down there. How big is this cave?
Speaker E: The cave entrance you guys see up here is like five feet across.
Speaker B: I mean inside here. Like I'm not flying in here anymore.
Speaker E: Right alongside. Oh, this is. This is like. Oh, this is kind of like I guess open. Actually no, I guess that is like the hole. This is kind of like raised up, broken down like stuff. This is not. This isn't cave here. The cave is like up here. You spot this. So you could still. Yeah, you're still outside. So while you're sorry, go ahead.
Speaker B: Oh, this is still outside. I thought this was inside the cave. I was like, what?
Speaker E: Not yet. It could be like a huge like a big opening.
Speaker B: But did I unclip?
Speaker E: Yeah, I'll say. Doc, as you guys are coming up here, Doc, you would definitely all start hearing buzzing.
Speaker B: Let's see where docs over there.
Speaker E: So yeah, so Doc, you would see.
Speaker B: Because I'm over the top of the middle of the group. Yeah.
Speaker E: So you would see. Several like several like boards of mosquitoes. They're like fist sized mosquitoes. Ew. Come flying at you. So this is essentially combat now which Daggerheart doesn't actually have combat mode. It's always mode. Yeah. So all right, so what do you guys want to do? So I, I guess for cash, since you have For Wes, since you haven't done this, basically what happens is you guys, as long as you don't roll with fear and I don't spend fear, you guys have the spotlight. Yeah, he hasn't played yet.
Speaker A: Sweet.
Speaker E: What's about to get real. Yeah.
Speaker D: So long as no roll and there.
Speaker E: And there aren't.
Speaker C: Now I don't want to roll at all.
Speaker B: We get to choose what order. We do stuff in the order.
Speaker E: And if you just want to, like, go like, three times in a row, and then everyone else is fine with that, assuming you don't roll fear or I Or like, oh, two is enough. I'm spending fear to take the spotlight. You can do that. It's very fluid.
Speaker B: I can initiate combo moves where we roll together. You spend your token to initiate it.
Speaker D: And someone has to have three hope.
Speaker E: Yep. Yep. You spend three hope.
Speaker D: Initiative protect.
Speaker E: One player spends the three hope or one character spends the three hope to do the tag team. And that is one assession.
Speaker B: You can spend with me, and I can spend all of you. Yeah, everybody gets to spend their token.
Speaker E: Yeah, you get. You can be a part of a tag team as much as you want. So everyone could tag team with Junior if they want, but you can tag team. You can start. Yes.
Speaker B: But our damage unifies as if it's one attack.
Speaker E: Yeah, that's cool. Yeah, you. You. Yeah. Tag team is. You both roll. Yeah, you both roll. Yeah, you both roll, and you decide which which roll you want to use. And then if it's a success, then you all. You roll your damage, combine it into one.
Speaker D: Okay.
Speaker E: And we are using massive damage. So if it double. If you take damage, that doubles your severe threshold. You. You will mark 4hp inst. Yeah, but otherwise, yeah, it's 1hp unless you burn armor to get rid of it. And the different. The next threshold is 2, and then severe is 3.
Speaker B: And you took the. I'm your shield. And what was the other one? Not good enough.
Speaker C: So I can re roll damage dice on ones and twos.
Speaker D: Someone started off.
Speaker E: Yeah, I was gonna say, yeah, they're coming. Like, if I saw them, I would.
Speaker B: Just say, just shoot them bugs, and I would shoot one. Yeah, all right. Shoot it. Unless you guys want to shoot.
Speaker E: Go for.
Speaker B: All right, so fire at the one.
Speaker E: That'S closest to you. Are you selling?
Speaker D: It has to be the damage guy.
Speaker B: I don't know that I'm gonna do that. Oh. 20 with fear. 2081 with fear.
Speaker E: Okay. That. That hits for sure. Yeah.
Speaker B: Because you just need.
Speaker E: I take the fear, so. Yeah. So you need roll damage.
Speaker B: This has been a little bit something. We're still at tier one, right? Yeah. So on a successful attack, the target has to mark distress. On a successful attack, roll an additional damage back. So this is a DH weapon.
Speaker E: No, it's. Let's see other weapons.
Speaker B: It's. On a successful attack, ruin additional damage, die of discard the lowest result.
Speaker E: Oh yeah.
Speaker B: Yeah. Okay.
Speaker E: Yeah, that's whatever John you're using.
Speaker B: Yeah, it's my rifle.
Speaker E: Yeah, that's right. It's time to get there.
Speaker B: Brutal. So eight damage. Eight damage. Okay. Face. That's a major. So they took two and more stress from scrimmage. All the right browns.
Speaker E: All right, so that is so. Yeah. So the spotlight with the fear goes to me. Sorry. I'll say these.
Speaker B: I hate Foundry.
Speaker E: And it doesn't keep your server. This doesn't save your user settings on the server.
Speaker B: Really? What?
Speaker E: Yeah. So if you change browsers, you have to reset up.
Speaker A: Crap.
Speaker E: Yeah. And you guys see several more.
Speaker D: How exciting.
Speaker E: I'm flying and I'm flying towards you.
Speaker A: The older right screen. What? It's back on the menu.
Speaker E: Oh, I'll say this one group that flew close to lies in this one here is going to. I'll use my activation. They'll do their attack roll. So then like Wes, I actually I roll a D20. That's right to do attack. So I'm attacking you with a whopping zero. So. So yeah. So doc, you have mosquito swarms flying around you, but between you flapping your wings and stuff, they're just getting buffeted. Actually you know, I have so much I will spend another fear to activate. Unless we'll have this. This one's fly down. This one flies down to cash. Does a 10 hit you?
Speaker B: The ties it.
Speaker E: Okay, so that hits.
Speaker B: Okay, so.
Speaker E: All right. They. Oh, so that's 10 or no 11. They when they stab in you and start trying to suck your blood for 10 damage or 11 damage.
Speaker C: Okay, so how does this work? I free the elderite. I roll a D6 to reduce it.
Speaker B: Yeah, it's that reason I won. Not bad.
Speaker E: So. So you're still taking 10 damage. So then you look at your thresholds.
Speaker C: What's the base score?
Speaker E: It would be your armor as your base.
Speaker C: So that's how many armor slots I have.
Speaker E: Oh yeah.
Speaker B: That you can spin. So since Your threshold is 10, if it matches it goes to the next one. Is that right?
Speaker E: Yeah, it matches.
Speaker B: So it matches.
Speaker E: So it's a major.
Speaker B: So you can either take two hit.
Speaker C: Points or ice mark an armor.
Speaker B: Yeah. And you can only mark one armor. Unless you have a skill.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker B: That lets you mark more.
Speaker C: Mark an armor and then I'll have.
Speaker B: To mark a hit. Correct. Yeah. So like in this, if someone else is going to take one, you could mark a stress and then marketing number, and then it's like you're taking it. Yeah, yeah. And that lets you do whatever you want. Okay. But they have to be within very close range of them. So.
Speaker E: Yeah, you're screaming.
Speaker B: Sorry, threshold. That's right. That's right. Because you get one, two. Okay. Sure. Yeah. Okay. Sweet.
Speaker E: Oh. All right. So if you.
Speaker C: You mark and I guess it took some stress. I don't know if that's relevant.
Speaker E: Yeah. Actually, all the adversaries have stress because if you wear out their stress, they can. They become vulnerable just like you.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker E: Then they also too, they start working.
Speaker B: They might.
Speaker E: I think they might start working HP too, if they can't mark str. Not sure I'll have to read that. We'll worry about that next time. Okay. Yeah. So. And then you marked an hp.
Speaker B: All right.
Speaker E: So you marked an hp. So I'm going to. So this mosquitoes spend another stress to may force you to mark another HP as they suck blood out of you. And that will be my turn to draw. First blip, I guess, second flip. All right, so you guys, back to you.
Speaker C: Why don't I smush this one?
Speaker D: Go for it.
Speaker C: It's sucking my blood.
Speaker B: Are you over here?
Speaker E: No, I haven't moved yet. And if you guys. You guys can move like, I'm fine with you moving around and then someone doing their turn.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker E: But if you want to move further than Very close for the 10.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: We're ready to spend this rally. Dice too.
Speaker E: The 10 is a miss.
Speaker B: What about 12?
Speaker E: That just hits.
Speaker C: All right, thanks for the rally. All right, it is with hope. So I rolled damage, and it's 13 damage.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker C: Oh, I get to roll an additional die on a Mac. And on a maximum value on damage die, I roll additional die because it's an ultra. So it's plus another three. So 16 damage.
Speaker E: Okay.
Speaker C: And it's scary, so you need strikes.
Speaker E: Yeah. So that particular guy is out of stress, so he's vulnerable.
Speaker B: So you get.
Speaker E: And then let's see those at 16 or so.
Speaker B: So that's major.
Speaker E: So you blast away half the mosquitoes.
Speaker B: In that group.
Speaker C: I don't like these things.
Speaker E: Was that without hope or fear?
Speaker C: I was with hope.
Speaker E: Okay, so it's still your guys's turn.
Speaker B: I did.
Speaker C: I'M maxed out. I gotta start spending it now.
Speaker D: More damage? No.
Speaker B: All right.
Speaker E: I say, yeah, cash can or not cash. But Junior can go again. Or someone else step up and go.
Speaker B: Even look like he's somebody else got something going on.
Speaker A: I'm debating as far as the spacing, do I know how deep the water is at all?
Speaker B: Nope.
Speaker E: I would say you probably wouldn't even actually know there's water. You wouldn't even know there's water there because everything. The foot.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker E: Everything's covered by a foot of this. So. Yeah, you wouldn't even know the water's.
Speaker B: There if I.
Speaker E: So assume that's all just terrain.
Speaker A: That's how it happens. That's where it starts. The raised areas of rock, are those higher? Are they?
Speaker B: That's what these are.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker A: These are probably water.
Speaker B: And you said these are rock. These are rock. Are they? Which is. Which is rock.
Speaker E: They're great. Yeah.
Speaker B: That's rock. And this is water.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker B: Okay. Yeah.
Speaker E: Yeah, these are. This is just rock. But it.
Speaker A: I'm kind of wondering, is it like if I did the equivalent of burning hands? So fire burst out of the fingers. Do I hit these guys up here? If they're in range or because of the rock, I say those too high.
Speaker E: Would be probably protected by the rock, essentially. And this one is swarming around Doc.
Speaker A: Oh, it's way high.
Speaker E: Yeah, it's up with Doc. It's up around him. Yeah.
Speaker B: Okay, then.
Speaker A: Let'S do an ice spike. I think Junior's gonna crush that one.
Speaker B: That's.
Speaker C: Has his attention.
Speaker E: Yeah, those are like swarming around him. So I would say that would make it harder, but probably add another two to the difficulty to shoot.
Speaker A: But for range, I would probably aim for the one that's hovering around off. We'll do a. An ice spike. That's a. Okay, so 216 with hope. Similar ice spike within far range using his weapon Expo cast roll Target's official difficulty set on the success d6 physical damage using a proficiency. So that hit. Do you include your proficiency with the damage?
Speaker B: No, it's just tells you how many.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: In that case, five points of ice bike.
Speaker B: Breaks to major.
Speaker E: So let's land 2 HP. This form here is severely reduced.
Speaker B: All right.
Speaker E: You guys still have spotlight.
Speaker B: Don't worry. You don't want to do anything. I probably.
Speaker D: I don't have much damage.
Speaker B: Oh, all right.
Speaker E: Yeah. So these ones will are flying in.
Speaker D: Post one more support.
Speaker C: Let's try to finish this one on next DNA.
Speaker E: Yeah, I was gonna say they're all flying in.
Speaker B: Oh.
Speaker C: Well, it is with fear, but I rolled.
Speaker E: 17. Yeah, that hits seven. Fear.
Speaker C: For seven. Damage.
Speaker B: Okay, so damage.
Speaker E: They're still flying.
Speaker B: That's so tanky.
Speaker E: But you've smashed, like, almost all of them in that bundle. I'm going to. Okay. Yeah. So it's my turn. I'm going to burn up here to do the environment. So the vines and roots come flashing and burning around. So everyone but document. Can you say, give me an agility or strength reaction rule.
Speaker B: Maybe?
Speaker D: Strength.
Speaker E: Strength or agility.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker E: 11 or better.
Speaker A: I got hope, but I'm not even close to 11.
Speaker E: All right, so you're restrained.
Speaker B: 13. That's fear.
Speaker E: The fear, it's just reacting. So there is no hope or fear. Okay, so, yep, vines lash up, then bind Audrey and Cash, and they are restraints. That means you can't move until you break out. I'm going to. I guess this group that's by the Bard, I think is going to go.
Speaker B: For an attack on the Bard.
Speaker E: That will be my turns for a 10.
Speaker D: This is.
Speaker B: All right, slippery bar, side step, little.
Speaker E: Little chain.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: The arms are free. The hatch is pulled down.
Speaker E: I'll do. I'll spend one more fear. So the two of you that are restrained find, wrap, grab into, pierce your flesh for three direct damage. So give me your duster roll.
Speaker A: That's just a D6.
Speaker E: Yep.
Speaker A: In the trade.
Speaker B: Doesn'T hurt. Roll the five.
Speaker E: All right, so, Cash, you will mark an HP for that OR. Sorry, Junior, no, just one. Because it's still. It's still your damage. Yeah, still your thresholds always applied to the damage that comes in. Direct damage just means you can't use your armor slots to reduce it. All right, so that will spotlight that to you guys.
Speaker B: I reach out from up above you to see light come from my hand and. And you get a hitter point.
Speaker C: What's that?
Speaker B: You get a hit, point back. You see some yellow light. Come here. I'm just going to use my life support.
Speaker D: Ash Jr. Only one that's taken damage.
Speaker E: Yes.
Speaker B: All right.
Speaker E: You guys are still up.
Speaker B: I'm gonna fly over like this. And then you see me. I, like, fly underneath. And I turn around, just go.
Speaker D: Gravel slayer.
Speaker B: Wings. Jock. Shooting mosquitoes.
Speaker A: They would all be dead if shock explosive elder.
Speaker B: Right?
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker D: Somehow he's hit mosquitoes. Each bullet.
Speaker A: Like a flat cannon.
Speaker B: Yeah. All right, I'm gonna use my prayer dice to add to my roll, which gives me 13 to hit.
Speaker E: Okay, that hits.
Speaker B: And then I guess that's for the.
Speaker E: You're shooting at those steps for you.
Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. And then I'm actually gonna add my.
Speaker E: Rally die.
Speaker B: Rally die. Add some damage. Oh, sorry. That's right. Just one.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker B: I was rolling like. That was my right. Does eight magic damage.
Speaker E: What was your. That's right. You already hit. So magic damage.
Speaker B: Yeah, that was.
Speaker E: All right.
Speaker B: So that's so all three of them. All right, Major. I don't know if you're.
Speaker E: Most of. Almost nothing in the adversary books has resistance or vulnerabilities to damage types. So you. You burn up. This last question.
Speaker B: That's the one I hit before.
Speaker D: That guy is pretty good.
Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
Speaker E: Burn stuff. So they're gone. These other ones are not quite. They've been burnt up some. All right. And that was with hope.
Speaker B: That was with hope.
Speaker E: So still your guys's spotlight.
Speaker B: For things that are like a gameplay question. This is not me trying to, like, min. Max the system, but, like, from skills that are magical. Can you use experience backgrounds for those kinds of things?
Speaker E: You can apply your experiences anytime they're relevant. It's just burning. You'd spend a hoe to do it.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker E: And you add it to your role.
Speaker B: So, like, if I have preacher background, I'm doing a magical attack as part of this. Like, I could apply that. If I don't. If it, like, as an example.
Speaker E: Yeah. If it made, like, for, like, attacking people, I would say that wouldn't make sense. But for me, as a preacher, shouldn't be punching people.
Speaker B: I guess everything's been kind of sketchy.
Speaker A: When it comes to.
Speaker E: But, yeah, if the experience makes sense. That's why it's good to have broad experiences. And if you don't, like. And again, like, since we're learning this, I'm fine with changing experiences, like, changing what it is that makes sense.
Speaker B: I just carry forward my back end of the.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker A: I want to do some wild flames. I can hit three targets that are considered very close. So that would be all the vines.
Speaker E: All right, so you're trying to target vines instead of mosquitoes.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker A: Because right now everybody else is.
Speaker E: Right. So you're. So you're trying to shoot yourself and Junior. I'm good. Yeah. Oh, yeah.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker E: You could shoot a mosquito.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker D: Can I move over that mosquito attack?
Speaker E: No, you can move. There's almost nothing. Has attack of opportunities.
Speaker B: Just.
Speaker E: Yeah. So you can move wherever you want.
Speaker D: Does it matter?
Speaker E: Yeah. I say there's like. It's like a massive cloud of mosquitoes.
Speaker D: But kind of all.
Speaker A: Does 11 hit.
Speaker E: 11 takes the vines out and misses the mosquito. All right. Yeah. So what does this look like?
Speaker A: You just see bound, and all of a sudden, the fingers start to ignite. You're not quite sure where the fire is coming from, and it just hits the ground and. And shoots out from there. You just see the vines start to come.
Speaker B: Flame.
Speaker A: They take two points. Fire damage. And they take the stress.
Speaker E: Yeah, the. The. That's the. Your. The in dagger heart. This is like an environment which is kind of like a stat block for the environment you're in. They don't have, like, hit points or anything. So it's. You're just.
Speaker D: You.
Speaker E: You hit them, so they're gone. So the vines are like. You broke the vines.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker A: So the vines, they. They react to the fire.
Speaker E: They withdraw, and you. You guys can move around, too. Like, I guess Junior can't. It's not. They keep saying Cash.
Speaker B: Is moving. He's just in a mindset.
Speaker C: His name is probably Cash ii. Cash Junior. But he just goes by Junior cj.
Speaker B: Yeah, you could.
Speaker E: All right, And. Yeah. So that was hope. Fear.
Speaker A: That was sadly with fear.
Speaker E: Okay, so I'll take.
Speaker B: Thank you. All right, so we're just going to.
Speaker E: These guys will fly in closer. These ones are coming for Doc. Oh. And then we'll have the ones right.
Speaker B: In front of Cash. Junior, Junior, Junior, Junior, Junior, Junior.
Speaker E: I'll say it right. Eventually. I think it's probably too. Because you like talking. I guess you're not really talking about Cash either.
Speaker C: They haven't seen.
Speaker E: All right, so, Junior. Well, that's a three to hit, so I'm sure that misses backpack.
Speaker B: Guys, I want to just try to.
Speaker C: Finish this one off in front of me.
Speaker B: All right, Go for it. If I could. You got Chris. Oh, that's a crit.
Speaker D: Crit Double.
Speaker E: Yeah, double Sarah. Stress and gain a hope.
Speaker C: I have my maxed out on hope already, and I don't have any stress for you.
Speaker B: Yeah, I guess I could spend the hope underneath your hope. There should be a sub skill.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker C: I spent three hope to clear two armor slots.
Speaker B: Yeah. So, like.
Speaker E: Yeah, but I see you haven't been able to. Yeah, he doesn't use too much armor slots.
Speaker D: That one's vulnerable, too, I think.
Speaker E: Yes, it is vulnerable. Yeah. Which doesn't matter.
Speaker D: If you crit, you add your wet. You do your base weapon damage.
Speaker E: Right. See, whatever your max damage diet, you max the damage die, and then you roll your damage like. Okay. Then we add them.
Speaker B: That's a cool skill. 20.
Speaker E: Yep. That was. That. Does a major. Does this look like cat or Junior?
Speaker C: Junior just takes pause Battle ax. And it's like screaming through the air. He was about to crush it, and then he got caught up in vines. Audrey Freedom.
Speaker B: And the.
Speaker A: I'd imagine that this isn't like to the blade of the axe. It's probably the white pad.
Speaker E: It might be.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker E: Turn sideways.
Speaker B: No, I do not a directional.
Speaker D: I just have basically a sub near my 1d6 damage right now. And then another spell. But it's only once per rest. So I kind of want to save it for.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker D: I don't have any AOEs. I can AOE the party.
Speaker B: Your fire goes three things, right? Yeah. If I. If I read it right.
Speaker E: Which card is that?
Speaker A: Well, it's the book of Tafar.
Speaker E: And that's Codex. Yeah. Book of far.
Speaker B: Three adversaries. And melee.
Speaker A: Deep down, I really wanted the daggers.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker B: So is melee very close.
Speaker E: Melee raid. Melee is touching.
Speaker B: Oh, okay.
Speaker E: Yeah. So you'd have to be surrounded.
Speaker B: Good step. Oh. And get at least two of them.
Speaker C: You could, like get in the middle of those two and hit both of those.
Speaker E: Yeah, I'd allow that for those two down low.
Speaker B: Which two?
Speaker E: These two down here. I'll say these.
Speaker B: Okay. Especially after he. I'm gonna fly down. I fly down and I say time for some fire. And I pick you up and I'm gonna spin my multi. And we're gonna line up on this side where you can hit both of them. But I want to like, flame through. I'm gonna blow my breath.
Speaker E: Actually. You guys doing a tag team?
Speaker B: I'm gonna attack team with them. So I stop and pick them up.
Speaker E: And so you. So you spent. So you tag team burn the three hope and spend distress to pick them up.
Speaker B: Yeah. Although. Yeah. Because you don't have any hope yet. You need it for your stuff. I only.
Speaker A: I just got back to three.
Speaker E: Yeah. All right. So yeah. You guys do your attack rolls.
Speaker B: Yeah. I can still my 3, 4, 5, 6. 6. No. Nope. Okay.
Speaker A: So that I had to use the stat. So 14.
Speaker E: 14 will.
Speaker B: So.
Speaker E: Yeah. So that will hit and it hope or fear?
Speaker B: Fear. Sorry.
Speaker A: That's okay. One of us.
Speaker E: All right.
Speaker B: Do I still roll my damage?
Speaker E: Yeah. It's attack team. So pick which roll you use.
Speaker D: Takeover.
Speaker E: And then you roll your. Your damage as you. As your attack team.
Speaker C: Attack team. This would be so sad.
Speaker D: Yeah. Brutal.
Speaker B: I just totally sucked on swung around.
Speaker C: After those crits, I guess.
Speaker B: So they'll still take two.
Speaker E: So you did two damage.
Speaker B: Two damage.
Speaker E: Okay. And then what. What's Audrey?
Speaker A: I did six.
Speaker E: Six. So we had a total of eight.
Speaker B: Damage nine and distress from the fire.
Speaker E: Okay. So we hit five guys doing that's a major.
Speaker B: So they're.
Speaker E: All right.
Speaker D: Got you.
Speaker A: Imagine those daggers because they're swarms in the cities.
Speaker E: There's actually no Miller.
Speaker B: All of them.
Speaker E: Okay.
Speaker B: So I might have to.
Speaker A: When the time comes. Multi class.
Speaker B: I might have to get those back.
Speaker E: All right. And that was with fear.
Speaker D: Still up.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker C: They're gonna spend your fears. You're just gonna pop them on space. Like 6:30.
Speaker D: That'll be the next and count.
Speaker A: So let's see.
Speaker E: This way we'll have. But you guys are.
Speaker D: That's how I'm famous.
Speaker B: How am I wanting as far as.
Speaker E: His.
Speaker A: And then fired. Would we be in motion or would we be where he picked me up?
Speaker B: I guess. Do I. Does our motion end there because of fear or can I land it?
Speaker E: You can land wherever.
Speaker B: Yeah. I just Would land you back down. Just drop them.
Speaker E: She like picked him up. All five of those guys.
Speaker D: Grab a tree on your way down.
Speaker E: Let's say this guy goes to. I guess one mosquito group goes to Sucked on Audrey's blood for a whopping 8.
Speaker A: Was that the attack?
Speaker E: Yeah. To hit you. It's an eight.
Speaker D: There's no protection 12 party. We're S.H.I.E.L.D. and we just transfer damage. All right.
Speaker B: I don't want whoever runs out of stress first.
Speaker D: And then you go to the next person.
Speaker E: I'm going to burn a fear. As everyone is on the ground. The vines comb lashing out of the ground for a strength agility reaction roll.
Speaker D: Not this time.
Speaker E: I don't think.
Speaker B: What do you need?
Speaker E: I pass. If you got 11 or better. I got 13.
Speaker B: 14. I'm good.
Speaker E: All right. So Edgar got wrapped up in vines this time.
Speaker D: Not doing nothing.
Speaker E: All right. You guys are up.
Speaker A: By your hands.
Speaker E: I guess there is three guys we consider in melee range of you.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: Perfect time.
Speaker B: That's the play.
Speaker C: You hit doc too. If you wanted to.
Speaker E: God. I don't cry anything.
Speaker B: Can't control it.
Speaker E: It's like when you open the fire hose by yourself.
Speaker D: 21.
Speaker C: 21 with hope. You want to see it?
Speaker D: And they are very lucky.
Speaker A: Nice and distressed.
Speaker E: What does this look like as you burn? Actually, I guess I'll start. All right. You burn up one group and then two of the other ones are severely damaged. But they're mosquitoes so they don't know any better.
Speaker A: The one that burned up. It was weird. It's almost like fireworks. Just kind of burns out for the inside.
Speaker E: So you get it. Like with the way this works, you can just go ahead and flame blast again, I think.
Speaker C: I think you step forward and hit these three.
Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker E: I'd say. Yeah.
Speaker B: Do it again.
Speaker D: Get closer.
Speaker C: I like the loose initiative.
Speaker D: That's nice.
Speaker A: 20 with hope.
Speaker C: Audrey, you're gonna just carry this comment.
Speaker E: Fine with me. Yeah.
Speaker A: And that's for six.
Speaker E: Six. All right.
Speaker A: Six in stress.
Speaker B: That burns those guys up.
Speaker E: Oh, actually, what does this look like as Audrey just burns up three. All of them.
Speaker A: Hey, just like fireworks. They just kind of burst into flames. They light up and. Except where they pop. Yeah, those have got something to edit.
Speaker D: Junior.
Speaker C: Smells like popcorn.
Speaker E: All right. It's still your guys's good vines. Yep. You're wrapped up in vines.
Speaker A: Is Junior wrapped up?
Speaker E: No, no, only. Odd only.
Speaker D: Yeah, only eggs are really around the mosquitoes. I don't think been hit.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker E: No, they're unpleasant.
Speaker A: Can I step through Junior so that I got the vines in the.
Speaker E: Yeah, you can see that'd be fine.
Speaker A: 15 there is pro. This time for a metal.
Speaker E: All right.
Speaker B: Oh, that.
Speaker E: Actually, I think that's. That's a severe one.
Speaker C: Stress.
Speaker E: So you burn away half the mosquitoes.
Speaker D: How's your stress looking?
Speaker A: No, they get stressed.
Speaker E: Oh, they get stressed.
Speaker A: I had to read that part a few times. Do I take stress with my team and then.
Speaker E: Yeah, and then. Edgar, what if Audrey burned you out of the.
Speaker A: So 12, 14 on the attack, 10 was fear back and 10 points and point.
Speaker B: How you want to do this?
Speaker D: Hang on.
Speaker A: It just points. It's fireworks. You just hit something and it just. The ashes drift down.
Speaker E: I say this doesn't have. But I will cause the vines to come splashing out of the ground again.
Speaker B: To try and wrap you up.
Speaker D: Barely.
Speaker B: I mean, they catch me.
Speaker E: All right.
Speaker A: No, how could they catch you?
Speaker D: I'm on the ground.
Speaker B: Oh.
Speaker E: All right. So Doc's the only one that got wrapped up. So you see vines and roots are wrapped up around Doc beginning to, like, squeeze tighter.
Speaker B: Getting ready to suck his bruin. What do you guys think?
Speaker E: I said you can like. And there is. You can spend a hope to help an ally which gives them advantage. But yeah, you can also. Yeah, I'll do that.
Speaker D: Help pull them out.
Speaker C: I'll spend the hope to give you.
Speaker B: Advantage on getting out of there.
Speaker E: Strength or agility to get yourself breathe on it.
Speaker B: Just like pull the wings out and then this leg go straight up. When you feed on the D, what does that happen?
Speaker E: 11 or better.
Speaker B: I got 10. Did you roll D?
Speaker D: 6.
Speaker E: Yes. Advantage. Oh, advantage is 2D. Yeah, I said either you can roll the advantage.
Speaker B: So yeah.
Speaker E: Break out. All right. Have a moment to rest. If you would like any of the documents. If you want to do a short rest.
Speaker B: You have a moment.
Speaker D: Short rest.
Speaker A: Yes.
Speaker E: Because there are the two types of rests. There is short and long. I think if we do rest the.
Speaker C: GM gains one before fear.
Speaker E: Man.
Speaker C: She's almost a good deal. Because he's gonna probably max out.
Speaker B: For what?
Speaker C: For the tpk.
Speaker E: No.
Speaker B: It's gonna be some guy that could just like relentlessly just straight that you overhomed.
Speaker C: I I took two damage and I had one armor damage.
Speaker D: Yeah. I can do a song that clears one hit point to the party or.
Speaker B: We do a short drive. Did anybody else take me. No I don't have any. We just keep.
Speaker C: I have 5 HP.
Speaker B: I want the director engagement. Yeah. Let's keep it going.
Speaker C: We gotta get out of this mist. Who nobody wants to hang.
Speaker D: No that's. I don't know if we'd rest with their vines keep coming out of the ground trying to get us.
Speaker B: Let's keep moving.
Speaker A: Maybe if we climbed up on top of the rock.
Speaker D: But even doc just has to hold all of us.
Speaker C: Mark a ton of stress.
Speaker B: I can fly you on top of rocks but that's about it.
Speaker D: Stress. You're not holding us up.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker D: I mean the baby carriers for the front and back for dumb.
Speaker E: Did you guys.
Speaker D: We're going to keep going.
Speaker E: Okay. You're not interested? No. Okay.
Speaker A: The Golden Axe sequel where they got.
Speaker B: The dwarf on the back. Yeah.
Speaker E: All righty. So what do you guys.
Speaker B: Do Heading towards the cage of the mine.
Speaker C: I like it on the ground.
Speaker E: All right.
Speaker B: Who's going.
Speaker E: Who's off of your marching order.
Speaker D: I'll be behind Junior.
Speaker E: All right Junior. Give me a reaction as you're watching walking forward because the mist is covering the ground still because you so you don't know.
Speaker B: So put.
Speaker E: I guess start actually starts back here. Because you guys don't know. You don't know where the if there's. You don't know the difference in the ground. So it was here 23 all right. Yeah. You start walking and you like let's say maybe some of your minor inherited. Yeah Mining sense. As if you like realize that there's just a narrow path under the under this fog. Otherwise each side falls into water.
Speaker D: Oh.
Speaker C: Seems like it falls off a cliff on both sides. Step where I step.
Speaker B: Can I fly over and do the wing thing again See if I can like reveal the path.
Speaker E: I would say if. If we hadn't already like done that then yeah, you could have. That might have. It would have been a roll too, but. Yeah. So Cash just walks off, followed Junior and is able to make his way across without falling off. So you guys.
Speaker D: Yeah, like right behind him.
Speaker B: My little person marker here.
Speaker E: I'll have to make tokens for everybody. Here's.
Speaker A: War wizard has the ability. If you roll with fear and you're successful, you add an extra D10 damage. But that's what I do think it's.
Speaker E: Like, wait a minute.
Speaker A: There was something missing here.
Speaker B: I just wanted to open up. When you're flying, you can spend a hope to add it to damage, which I totally forgotten about when I was doing the first attack. Okay.
Speaker E: Yeah. So you guys see in here? We'll just go to the little dude until.
Speaker B: Okay, so this is a shortcake now.
Speaker E: Yeah, this is. Yeah, you definitely can't fly in here. Yeah. So you walk in here and then I'll say that, like the light is. That's about as far as you can see. And you can see like this kind of small little opening. And then there you see it, the opening across the way. And you do see, like, there's like vines and like roots and stuff all like hanging from the ceiling. But yeah, so your. Your light ends up here.
Speaker B: So.
Speaker C: Well, I have low light living.
Speaker B: So those undergoing.
Speaker C: So I'm not worried about it.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker E: Yep. So Cash can see or Junior. Junior, you can see this? I can see well enough. But the rest of you guys, if you don't have a light source. So everything will be a disadvantage.
Speaker B: I want to unfurl my rinsing here.
Speaker C: Is it radiate light?
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: Nice.
Speaker E: There we go. Alrighty. So that will provide sufficient electronic Stop. As you guys creep up over here, do this kind of like you see.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker E: Another chamber that's got exits to the.
Speaker B: North and the east.
Speaker A: Can we see if anybody's been through here?
Speaker E: Give me a instinct rule and we'll put that at a 15.
Speaker B: No.
Speaker A: Close 14.
Speaker E: Hope.
Speaker B: Fear. Fear.
Speaker A: I'm scared I find something.
Speaker E: I'll say with that fear. I'll just immediately burn it as the. The whole, like all the dangly binds and stuff around you guys go to try and grab you. Yep. All of you in here for a reaction.
Speaker A: Can I do the.
Speaker C: No.
Speaker A: Because there's more vines than truth.
Speaker D: Double one to the crit, right?
Speaker E: Yes. Doubles are crits.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: Saved by the double double A game.
Speaker B: Where snake eyes is good. Yeah.
Speaker D: Oh, dang.
Speaker E: Double crits.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker E: All right. So did anyone fail?
Speaker B: Yeah, I failed.
Speaker E: All right, so Cat or Junior I'm gonna start slapping.
Speaker B: I'm as excited about the open stress clearing as I am successful.
Speaker E: And Audrey, you fel.
Speaker A: It's successful.
Speaker E: It's successful or it's react. It's react.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker E: You can crit reactions, I think.
Speaker D: Yes, I think so.
Speaker E: We'll Google that. I'll look that up next time. So for now, crit reactions are the same. I think they are 14 of hope, which there. There's no hope or fear gain on reaction rules.
Speaker B: But we'll double check the crit reaction.
Speaker D: Oh, that was just an umbra special.
Speaker E: I don't. I don't remember.
Speaker C: Well, here on this sheet it says reaction roles work similarly to action rolls, except they don't generate hope, fear, or additional GM moves.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker E: Yeah, so they do. So they do crits.
Speaker C: Yeah, I would think they could, but.
Speaker B: They don't generate them out.
Speaker E: Yeah, well, yeah, we'll leave it. So, yeah, you just like crude react in success. Yeah, it would make sense if they don't generate over their stress.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker E: Yep. So Junior is tied up, strained in the vines. You can like, you can. You can try and get yourself out.
Speaker D: Or someone can help try and get them out.
Speaker B: All right. How many people can eat it?
Speaker E: It would.
Speaker B: Just one.
Speaker E: One.
Speaker D: So you can add a V6 too.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker E: You.
Speaker C: All right?
Speaker A: I got out.
Speaker B: Yeah. Rip your way out of the welding down. Where did one.
Speaker A: Were there any vines down in that cave that's deeper than anybody else?
Speaker C: I don't think so.
Speaker E: That's up to you.
Speaker D: We don't know what's down.
Speaker A: Yeah, I don't remember any mines.
Speaker C: This is cold.
Speaker E: So which way do you guys want to go?
Speaker B: North or east.
Speaker A: Engineer?
Speaker E: North.
Speaker B: All righty.
Speaker E: So you head north and you start getting a very strong smell of iron.
Speaker B: Oh, it smells nice.
Speaker E: To them.
Speaker B: It smells like a wax. I follow it.
Speaker E: All right. So you just keep going. It gets stronger and stronger until you're. Until you near like a near human sized pulsating like cocoon. That's like blood. Like looks like it's got like sinew and like blood.
Speaker D: I think that's supposed to be.
Speaker E: And you. Do you smell more to your delta?
Speaker B: Actually.
Speaker E: Yeah. You're just overwhelmed.
Speaker B: Can we see anything in it?
Speaker E: Looking at it right now, you can't. You want to go up and examine it, get your ear to it and.
Speaker B: Listen to it.
Speaker C: Hold up the light behind it?
Speaker B: Well, that's what I was thinking about doing with my leaf. Like is it like embedded in the wall or like how is it hanging.
Speaker E: As I think of it? Kind of like a human size, like cocoon that's like strapped to like webbed. But the web is kind of like. It's more like fleshy and blood, like, than web. That's kind of just like it. And it's kind of. And it has like a very faint. Yeah. Coagulate, like. Yeah.
Speaker D: Only in five.
Speaker B: Inside of that is one of our.
Speaker C: I said maybe there's a lager in there.
Speaker B: We could drink it. I was up to it. Hey, Junior.
Speaker E: Hang on.
Speaker B: Hold that thought.
Speaker A: It's not the lager.
Speaker B: He's thinking different lager. I don't have to like walk on it to come up to it.
Speaker E: There would probably be some like mesh on the ground this.
Speaker B: It's on solid ground, though.
Speaker E: Yeah, it's kind of like secured like.
Speaker B: To the wall and the floor.
Speaker A: Yeah, that's what it's just gonna.
Speaker B: I'll do like. It's funny you mentioned because it's gonna be the same.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker B: I go up and I'll put one wing on the opposite side of it and like, look through, use the glow of my wing.
Speaker E: Brighten it a bit. All right, give me.
Speaker B: Let's see.
Speaker E: Oh, I will just not really.
Speaker B: Actually.
Speaker E: Yes, the role is interesting. So, yeah, give me an instinct role. Let's say difficulty turning out to not be.
Speaker B: So being used as like my weakest 1312.
Speaker E: Actually I was probably end up burning up. Fear when the environment grabs you all. Well, that's. That's what I would.
Speaker D: Congratulations. You want a chest burster?
Speaker B: Yeah, it's a holy one.
Speaker E: Yeah. So I'll say it. Yeah. So you go up there and put your wing behind it. And as you're looking at it, you do see like. Like two. Like they're not like fetuses or anything, but they're two like globule things, like floating, like, kind of like floating around in there and kind of like looks like they have like a heart. Like it looks like a heartbeat kind of whole thing, but. Yeah. And then as you're doing that, the. The cave reaches out and tries to grab all of you. So get that strength, agility.
Speaker B: Pass.
Speaker D: Oh, we're getting used to it.
Speaker B: Yeah. Get out of here.
Speaker E: Cave all right. Yeah.
Speaker B: So evacuated from all of you.
Speaker E: That does not look good in there.
Speaker B: Whatever it is, it's not our adventures.
Speaker C: What do we do to it?
Speaker B: Is there more of a concentration. Is there of mist in the cave?
Speaker E: It's still here. I'd say it's probably darker red.
Speaker B: Is it emanating from position to emanate.
Speaker E: From this, you're not sure where? You haven't found, like a specific point of emanation yet.
Speaker B: Well, if we do anything to this, there'll be a sure thing that somebody will. It might trigger wherever else, but I don't know. I'm open to. What are you guys saying?
Speaker A: Did your daddy leave you any special fireworks?
Speaker E: No.
Speaker C: He told me those are dangerous.
Speaker B: That's what he told you?
Speaker C: He wasn't worried about anything else.
Speaker B: Playing with that boom boom sticks. He caught you licking the dynamite sticks one day. It was like, maybe that's not.
Speaker E: He's not ready for the.
Speaker B: Hey. Thank you.
Speaker A: Let's go, farmers.
Speaker B: Little helper. Yeah, I mean, we can burn it, but do we want to explore first? We're going to bring this thing.
Speaker A: I'm thinking exploring first might be a good idea because if we crack this open, it might trigger a reaction in the cave. I mean, the plus side, we're close to the exit.
Speaker B: Keep exploring. All right. I go. Nice. We're on to that.
Speaker A: For some reason, I suddenly have a desire for magnetic mushrooms.
Speaker B: But I think they gave that to.
Speaker A: One of the other guys.
Speaker B: Cash or something. Yeah.
Speaker E: So you. You walk up and you find. You see another chamber. Similar thing left.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker E: And then you go up a little bit more and then find a third chamber.
Speaker C: Well, that's good.
Speaker E: And then here, let's say an EC2 directions. You can go from here.
Speaker C: We found the glowy bits.
Speaker E: I guess while you guys are walking, examining. He reaches out and grabs at you again. Yes.
Speaker A: I'm tied up. I was bewildered by the. The bloody iron glow. What is this?
Speaker B: Good song.
Speaker A: Tight end.
Speaker E: All right. Yep. So Audrey gets bound up. Thorns begin to protrude.
Speaker A: Squirm a bit, try and break free.
Speaker B: All right. Nope, they got me.
Speaker E: Good hope or fair?
Speaker A: I hope.
Speaker D: Not bad.
Speaker E: I will burn up here.
Speaker B: Yep.
Speaker E: Vines go to the thorns break out and stab at you for six.
Speaker B: Direct damage as it tries to your shield.
Speaker C: Duster on your shield.
Speaker A: And safe from four. That means two points, which would be below. So that would be one hit point.
Speaker B: Or one armored, actually. You can't spend armor.
Speaker E: You can't. Yeah. You can't burn armor on it. And that's okay. So I'd say. Yeah. In this instance, I don't think I am your shield would work either. All right. Yeah. So then. Yeah. So then. Yeah.
Speaker A: This time I light up my hands. Burning vines. 15 with Hope.
Speaker B: All right. Nice.
Speaker A: So after seeing me square my second, you just see the bottom where the lines are. They just kind of get roasted.
Speaker E: Kind.
Speaker A: Of Like a rocket launch.
Speaker B: All right. I think he's exact. Too bad.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: We want to line up at, like, each of the caves and try to, like, simultaneously burn them all. I can.
Speaker D: I can do one.
Speaker C: Is there another one? We go a little further.
Speaker E: Which way do you guys want to go? East or the north?
Speaker D: Go north.
Speaker E: Okay.
Speaker B: North sounds good. Gather them all, I guess. Look up. Look up north.
Speaker D: Just following.
Speaker E: It's following June. Yeah. All right. As you walk into this and come up to a larger chamber.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker E: As you guys walk up here, you see a large chamber, and you actually see, like, some of the vines and stuff here actually pulsating with Pulsating a little bit. Like, they have a heartbeat over there thick with red Eminem. You see kind of peel out of the. Off the wall, a large, like, amorphous blob. And you see, like, dozens of, like, faces protruding out of it. You see, like, some parts of, huh, logger faces. They're human faces. Human faces. Like, I don't know if you've, like, seen the blob where they, like. Or like, other things where people, like, are, like, pushing out through, like, gel or whatever.
Speaker B: Can we tell if they're dead?
Speaker E: Oh, they're very dead. Okay. There's, like. There's not like, they're flat. Like, there's, like, flesh has been, like, to eat away, like, ass. Like, it's been like acid ate away, like, parts of the flesh.
Speaker D: Gentlemen, I think we found our lungs.
Speaker E: And you also see, like, multiple, like, parts of, like, lint and stuff in this blob as it comes rushing at you.
Speaker B: As a doctor, I think you're correct. And I think that they're dead.
Speaker E: And he's just going to make a.
Speaker B: Straight attack on past June. So the whole thing comes down.
Speaker E: Yeah, the whole thing just peels off and it's just like.
Speaker B: But is it, like. Is it still blob or is it, like, what's it reaching out with?
Speaker E: Walking with, like, it's more like just like, sliding and rolling and like. Like it has, like, appendages. Yeah.
Speaker B: Let's see here. As this thing comes out to you.
Speaker C: Do you think those are baby bones in those legs?
Speaker B: Probably more loggers, probably.
Speaker E: So. Yeah. It plops off the. The wall, and it's gonna burn a stress. And you just hear this, like, it begins to, like, sing this song.
Speaker B: To.
Speaker E: Like, charm you and draw you to it. So I need all of you to make a presence, reaction, roll or lose a hope and move towards it. 16.
Speaker B: I hope 11's in the left right, too. 24. Oh, you guys got a great presence. Plus two.
Speaker E: So Junior, you fail. So you lose a hope and move towards it. So you guys can put your minis.
Speaker D: On the board now in the front.
Speaker E: Yeah, whatever your matching or marching order is. And he run. He just moves right up. Yeah, so he does that. And this has relentless. So I can spend a fear. And he goes again.
Speaker D: Oh, boy.
Speaker B: Oh, we're gonna.
Speaker E: Yeah. So let me know if you need.
Speaker D: Stress or hip points.
Speaker E: It's gonna go after Junior because Junior's the closest.
Speaker D: There we go.
Speaker E: A 19 hit.
Speaker B: Oh, yeah.
Speaker C: How could you even get it?
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker A: Oh, it's a D20.
Speaker B: All right.
Speaker E: And then. Yeah. So then this. So a various opinion. Just come out and smash into junior for 10 physical damage.
Speaker C: So when that at my threshold.
Speaker E: So if it's a meets it beats it.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: So that would be a major. I'll spend an armory making a minor.
Speaker E: And then I will. Since it has relentless, I will spend one more fear, have it go again.
Speaker D: Aaron's the fear.
Speaker E: Save it up for a reason, Junior for a 10 to hit.
Speaker C: And meets it beats it.
Speaker E: Okay, so you. All right. So, yeah. So this thing comes. You see that it's sings to you all trying to get you to come to it. Junior fells runs up, gets clobbered. Then the thing just engulfs Junior. And then Junior, you take.
Speaker B: Oh, that's the wrong pending. That was a good multi.
Speaker E: Oh, that's a good multip. You take eight physical damage.
Speaker D: Make sure you're.
Speaker E: You're rolling using your.
Speaker C: Yeah, that would have changed my last one.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker C: Eight physical damage, you said?
Speaker E: Yes, as it's engulfing you.
Speaker B: Okay, I'll spend another armor. Make it zero.
Speaker E: All right, so then.
Speaker A: The.
Speaker C: He should mark two stress to hit me twice as my older eight screams.
Speaker E: Yep, that's gonna get removed from both.
Speaker B: The armor and the weapon.
Speaker D: Yeah, that one's strong.
Speaker E: That's too strong.
Speaker C: You want to just X that off now?
Speaker E: Yeah, I agree.
Speaker B: It's fine.
Speaker E: It's pretty strong. It's way too strong.
Speaker D: Once they're maxed out, they're vulnerable.
Speaker E: Yeah, that's his big deal. That's too strong.
Speaker C: One fewer thing to remember.
Speaker E: Yeah. And that's. Yeah. So that is his turn. So Junior is engulfed in this thing and is. Is vulnerable. So that means if I. When it attacks you, I have advantage.
Speaker C: I'm vulnerable.
Speaker B: Yes, you're vulnerable. Can we see him at all?
Speaker D: So he got eight.
Speaker E: He got like.
Speaker A: He's like.
Speaker E: And he's got. He's like Covered up in the thing. Like it's trying to digest them, basically. So you can hit. You can hit the creature without hurting him. Unless. I would say. Unless maybe you like crit. Like unless you fail with fear. Then maybe. But otherwise you can safely. Yeah, he's covered up.
Speaker D: You have three hope to spend on attack thing.
Speaker B: Where do you need your.
Speaker A: Actually, I just.
Speaker B: Good enough. I can pull it off. I can tag team.
Speaker A: Would you like to tag team?
Speaker D: Yeah. I can spend my.
Speaker B: The token.
Speaker A: What would you like to do? And what would you like me to do?
Speaker D: I'm going to do arcane barrage where I can spend my hope. And each Hope is a D6A dam. Oh, man. And I'm gonna spend all my hope.
Speaker B: Hell yeah. There we go.
Speaker D: Let's see the once per long rest.
Speaker B: Or once per rest.
Speaker A: The best I got is the fire.
Speaker D: Let's do.
Speaker B: Almost equipped.
Speaker D: I got.
Speaker A: We got 14 on the attack with Hope.
Speaker D: I got 25 with Hope.
Speaker B: Okay. All right.
Speaker E: Either of those? Yep. All right. So that hits spend.
Speaker C: Saving up for this.
Speaker D: I want.
Speaker A: This is refusing to rally on.
Speaker B: Yeah, that's big, mom.
Speaker A: So for me, it's 14 fire and a stress.
Speaker D: 12 points from me.
Speaker B: 12 points?
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker B: Six.
Speaker E: That breaks severe. So you guys do three points of damage to it. And you hear it. You. You see it like scream and like scream it. But it's like multiple faces. Like let out a scream too.
Speaker A: Nice.
Speaker E: As it's writhing and burning while Cash's Junior.
Speaker B: I don't know why that's so hard.
Speaker E: I don't know why that's so hard to remember Junior. I'll get it next time. All right. Yeah. So that is guys with hope. So it is still your turn.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: You use your role.
Speaker B: So I guess you get.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker B: All right.
Speaker E: Are they tag team? You both game, though? Yeah.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker E: Because you're tagging.
Speaker C: I kind of want to go unstoppable. My class feature.
Speaker B: That would be good.
Speaker C: That's prolonged rest. I become unstoppable. It ticks up over time. But I reduced the damage by one threshold for the duration. I add a little extra damage to my rolls and I can't be restrained or vulnerable. I can't be vulnerable.
Speaker E: All right, what does this look like when Cash goes up, Junior goes up.
Speaker C: Does it look like engineer goes unstoppable.
Speaker B: In the middle of the way? Yeah.
Speaker C: Well, he's never done this before.
Speaker B: It would seem natural to him.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker A: He's not an angry person at all, though.
Speaker C: So it's not like he's raging. It's just Sheer determination and will. A desire to protect and his own.
Speaker E: Does anything physically change about him?
Speaker B: Probably. He is that descendant.
Speaker C: Yeah. Actually, you know what it is? He probably, like, gets covered in like a poison or a slime or something where he's like caustic to the touch, but only slightly so as he like secretes it. And it would burn away anything that might restrain or make him vulnerable and.
Speaker A: Hurts other people that touch him and protects him.
Speaker C: So that's how it. Each of the things he gets covered.
Speaker B: In this weird goop.
Speaker C: It's very weird. Putting the weird and weird west.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: Let's go.
Speaker B: All the faces in the creature are like, ew.
Speaker C: Am I able to attack with my battle ax while I'm inside this?
Speaker E: Yes. You're just vulnerable. You're not. Because even when you're restrained, you can still attack. Restrained just means you can't move.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker E: And then vulnerable just means I have advantage. But that doesn't apply to you.
Speaker A: Then.
Speaker C: I'm gonna try to chop my way out then. Nice. With hope for 22.
Speaker E: That hits.
Speaker C: 12 damage.
Speaker E: All right.
Speaker B: You add your unstoppable deck. Yes.
Speaker C: It only has the one for now.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker C: Next time I want to.
Speaker B: All right, Guys. Had hope. So it's.
Speaker A: Is there anything you want?
Speaker B: I would just fire on it in this. I'm just going to shoot out pretty.
Speaker A: Much the same thing.
Speaker B: It's. I don't think. 4, 15. 16 with hope that it pull up the elderite from the door. For. 11 damage. All right. Let's have a major wound. I will actually spend. Oh, actually, never mind. Never mind.
Speaker A: Put some hot hands.
Speaker B: 17 that hits with hope. Here's a hope night so far.
Speaker A: And another eight points in a stress.
Speaker E: All right. See it rising and burning. Also. You guys got good momentum, so.
Speaker A: Else.
Speaker B: Wants to step in. I'll just blast it again.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker A: 14. 15 with 16.
Speaker E: With.
Speaker C: Nice.
Speaker A: For another seven in stress.
Speaker E: All right.
Speaker B: Seven.
Speaker E: All right. As you claim. It. Bursts into flames and me and lets.
Speaker B: Out one final, like, terrible scream. So I need all of you guys.
Speaker E: To give me.
Speaker B: An instinct reactivity.
Speaker D: 12, 16.
Speaker E: Everyone's over 13.
Speaker C: No, I got glo.
Speaker E: Okay. So you go take the full run. Everyone else takes half.
Speaker B: I'm going to actually. I see as it's going to go out, I have this premonition for it. I reach out and I touch you and I pull you back. You feel the surge of warmth go through. I'm going to give reassert once per rest. After an ally attempts to action roll. Oh, it's an action Roll. It's only action, not reaction. Does reaction count as an action? No. Okay, never mind. I can't do this for.
Speaker D: Sorry.
Speaker B: I don't do anything to you.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker E: All right. So on the back you go. Let's see. All right, so Junior, you take seven magic damage.
Speaker B: That's just like.
Speaker E: Scream Assaulter blind. And then everyone else takes three direct damage. And you're blasted by its death song.
Speaker B: As it burns. And dusters don't do anything for this.
Speaker E: No, I'll say. I'll say. This is would protect you because it's not a physical attack. This is like attacking your mind.
Speaker B: Oh.
Speaker E: That thing is just like a. Like an oozing pile of burning goo.
Speaker C: That was gross.
Speaker B: You think that was the bomb? Maybe. Or there's more.
Speaker A: We've got to figure out the rest of this cave system.
Speaker B: We should go kill the children.
Speaker E: Yes.
Speaker D: Let's go back and kill them with eggs.
Speaker B: And you won't hear don't say that very often.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker B: Very much so.
Speaker E: All right, well, I'm thinking we might.
Speaker A: Want to finish the loop.
Speaker D: I'd rather go kill those eggs before they hatch.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: Okay. In case the deaths on triggered them, I'd imagine that that going through the cave system.
Speaker E: Yep. Reverberated.
Speaker B: That's awesome.
Speaker E: Yep.
Speaker B: Before we go, how bloodied up do you look?
Speaker C: I'm missing 2hp.
Speaker B: So I'm fine.
Speaker C: Pretty much I'm. I'm where I'm at was at when.
Speaker B: I started this cave.
Speaker D: I'm gonna say good job, buddy. We're the good guys. And you'll clear an hp. That's an inspirational words.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: We are the good guys. Even healthier than the nature started, kid.
Speaker D: I got tokens I gotta spend every now I know every rest.
Speaker C: I'm like, man, I gotta start using my stuff.
Speaker D: Did they come back after every rest or long rest?
Speaker E: All right. Yeah. So you guys, what do you want.
Speaker B: To do is you walked over to look the same. Yep.
Speaker D: Head down to the cell phone to the left.
Speaker A: Focus in on one, find out how strong it is and then div them up.
Speaker B: Or do you maybe guard the others? If we're going to do that, I'll.
Speaker C: Go guard the others.
Speaker E: All right. Yeah. You guys can move here minions wherever you want.
Speaker D: I am cash to go down go down here.
Speaker A: I guess I'm helping you. And we're going to test out the first aid.
Speaker B: Is this one target or is it multiple targets?
Speaker E: They're in an egg. So this is a single like target right now.
Speaker A: Right now. Like it'll be A two phase.
Speaker B: Yeah. I'm just gonna actually X to, like.
Speaker D: How.
Speaker B: That'S what a flame breath already born in the egg, the club web, everything. I'm going to go alien on.
Speaker A: It's the only way to be sure.
Speaker B: Hatching open my mouth has changed.
Speaker D: Junior became a chess place has gotten weirder. Last time here.
Speaker B: You put these are my daughters in there. Okay.
Speaker D: Probably not.
Speaker E: Yeah. So, like, definitely not. I flamed it. Yeah, you flamed it. And all this in you and stuff like, burns up. And these two basically look like congealed blood blobs. Make some poach days come out and start crawling towards you. I would say, since that was a roll of fear, I will activate this guy.
Speaker B: Did it not take any damage?
Speaker E: They have not. You burnt everything around them.
Speaker B: We do need to kill the kids.
Speaker E: And it was with a fear, too.
Speaker B: So I'm not.
Speaker E: Yeah, no, that's fine. All right. And then so it squishes its way up to you and tries to hit you with its. The blood bloody appendage thing. Kind of just like a glob of congealed blood, like, shoots out of its hand to slap you.
Speaker D: Oh, we have the paladin on ours.
Speaker E: Oh, a seven to hit.
Speaker B: This is just.
Speaker E: All right, you guys are.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker E: Back around to you.
Speaker A: Yeah, that's what I'm gonna try.
Speaker B: So you want to get closer to. You could have two of them. Do you want to, like, get in there?
Speaker A: Yeah, I go in.
Speaker D: Junior move up a little bit to run.
Speaker B: I don't have to do anything.
Speaker C: I just need to be close enough to protect.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker D: I'm just going to stand back there. Keep an eye on those other ones.
Speaker A: That was a failure with fear.
Speaker E: Oh, no.
Speaker A: That's a two and a three.
Speaker E: Failure with fear. All right.
Speaker B: It's not the worst of the night. I had a onew back to back earlier tonight. Most you can roll.
Speaker E: That's true.
Speaker D: You can get one.
Speaker B: One.
Speaker E: Yeah. Okay, so failure with fear. Fear, I would say, as you're casting, Audrey, a vine wraps around your leg.
Speaker D: Burn the roof when we're done on.
Speaker E: The floor and draws. Whoops. Tries to suck life out of you. Or. Well, that is ineffective because your duster would absorb it.
Speaker B: When I go to one and then.
Speaker A: And then it screams.
Speaker E: No, this one doesn't scream. But a smaller version falls out of the ceiling behind you.
Speaker A: A finer.
Speaker E: A smaller, like, blob of ooze, let's say. Actually, it just, like, falls on your head.
Speaker C: My kids have kids.
Speaker E: Yeah. So there's. So now there's like infestation. Yeah. So like, this small one plopped down behind you.
Speaker C: I wish I had a flame.
Speaker E: And then the ooze that you tried.
Speaker B: To burn or one of them tries.
Speaker E: To slap at you. They're still newborns because that's a walking six to hit all the Right. Once you're. I assume this doesn't beat your aging. Yeah. So it's back to you guys. There is a third, like, little.
Speaker B: If I move back here, can I blow fire through here? Certainly can. Without harming my friends. As long as they don't fail.
Speaker E: Yeah. I'm gonna say that will be.
Speaker A: I hear you say fire in the hole. And I run to the other side of the chamber.
Speaker D: All right.
Speaker B: Doesn't actually move. Like, since my wings are out, I kind of like, flow back and then.
Speaker E: Yeah. As long as they're in very close range. Which it looks like all three of them are.
Speaker B: Yeah. I don't have anything else to do. So it's a 13 with fear.
Speaker E: All right, that should be.
Speaker B: Let me double check.
Speaker E: Yes. That hits everybody fourth.
Speaker B: And magic. I'll try to catch his eyes. So question on that. It. Like, with my wings, can I actually. I can't fly in here at all. Not.
Speaker E: No. There's not. The. The cave is. It's like, maybe, like, you might get a few feet off the ground.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker E: But yeah. You wouldn't be able to move around too much. Oh. And then.
Speaker B: Sorry.
Speaker E: The little.
Speaker A: Could he supercharge his fire with a little extra oxygen?
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker B: I can't do any of the wings that pull stuff up.
Speaker E: You did eight or ten damage.
Speaker D: Okay.
Speaker B: That's magical.
Speaker E: You burnt up the little news and then did major to the other guys. All right.
Speaker B: And that was here. Which I took the fear. I am gonna say.
Speaker E: Edgar, you see the sack over here burst open.
Speaker D: There's more of them.
Speaker B: First there's ooing eyes.
Speaker E: And so that will be. I don't know if there's.
Speaker D: Ooh.
Speaker B: Just oozing.
Speaker D: This is gross.
Speaker E: All right, back to you guys.
Speaker A: Fire seems to work on.
Speaker E: Yep.
Speaker D: Fire.
Speaker B: Hey, there we go.
Speaker E: Snap.
Speaker A: All right, so that would be.
Speaker E: So whatever your damage. Die is for that two D6 and stress.
Speaker A: So 22. Roll the pin. 22.
Speaker E: Oh. Just shy of massive damage. That's beer, actually. That burns up those two in there nice. And then you.
Speaker B: He did mark a hope and clear stress.
Speaker D: I'm gonna swing around from your crit.
Speaker E: Right.
Speaker B: Picked up the hooks.
Speaker A: So far, I've been pretty much stress free. Can go for some hp.
Speaker E: All right. That's still your guys's turn. These dudes are, like, starting to, like, make their way out, but. All right, so Junior runs down there. You can run down there and attack if you want.
Speaker C: Let's get a little closer, and then, yeah, I'll attack with my pause battle axe. That other one's probably the worst, too.
Speaker A: I wiped the goo off myself.
Speaker C: 22 with foe.
Speaker E: And I hit.
Speaker C: 13 damage. Oh, and I get to actually roll another i21 damage.
Speaker B: Actually.
Speaker E: Still in the severe realm.
Speaker B: But that's.
Speaker C: Because it is Elden.
Speaker E: Right?
Speaker B: It's deadly.
Speaker C: When you deal severe damage, the target must mark an additional hp.
Speaker B: Oh, snap.
Speaker A: I'm just hoping that when you hit it, it didn't split into two.
Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. Go back to, like, Final Fantasy with different slimes.
Speaker C: 3. Hope to clear two other slots, too.
Speaker B: Since I have seen. Why should I do this one? Don't stretch it. Don't burn. I can just strike.
Speaker E: All right. That was with Hope.
Speaker C: That was with Hope.
Speaker E: Yep. So you guys are still up.
Speaker A: I can go in and do and light it.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker C: I think the AOE is pretty effective when there's multiple target Effective.
Speaker A: So I walk around and get in range.
Speaker E: Yeah, you move them. Got to melee with them both. Okay.
Speaker A: Oh, just hits with fear. And I'm remembering the D10 that comes with it.
Speaker B: Yeah. And what was the D10? Oh, because of fear.
Speaker C: Yeah, because he.
Speaker A: 10, 13.
Speaker B: 13.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker A: It saved me when I rolled a one and a two on the.
Speaker E: That finishes those guys off. They burn up and kind of screech a little bit, but most of these.
Speaker B: Kind of like boiling concealed blood. That was pretty good sound. Yep.
Speaker E: So you got one more left there.
Speaker B: If you want to deal with it or.
Speaker A: I rolled with fear, so technically, it's what you. Even though I was successful in killing them.
Speaker E: Right. Yeah. I. I ch. Oh, so it's my turn. Yeah. So I'll say this. Have them pop open.
Speaker B: Here they go. Oops, wrong button visible.
Speaker E: Let's say that one just pops out and squishes, slides its way up to.
Speaker B: Dock, and tries to punch him.
Speaker E: Oh, this might be a groin shot.
Speaker B: 18 to hit. Yes.
Speaker C: I am your shield.
Speaker A: You're trying to take it in the groin.
Speaker E: All right, let's see. Okay. Damage.
Speaker B: Well, you can mark armor if you have it. I will.
Speaker E: Is six damage. Oh, let's see. And this thing will mark a stress. It'll says successful attack. It will mark the stress, which now I need. Since Junior took the hit, I need you a strength reaction roll. Thanks, Junior Block.
Speaker C: That's what we're looking for.
Speaker B: 20.
Speaker C: Although I guess reaction doesn't match.
Speaker E: Yep, that's right. All right. Yep. So. So that appendage just slashed out and hit you, and you felt it, like, try to drain your strength, but you resisted.
Speaker B: Good.
Speaker E: All right, so we'll be back to you guys.
Speaker B: All right. Throw some fire down.
Speaker C: Kill and die.
Speaker B: So you reach out.
Speaker C: I'm like, I know.
Speaker B: Eighteen with hope. Right?
Speaker E: That hits.
Speaker B: Holy fire damage. Yeah, you're still up. Oh, crits.
Speaker C: Double sevens.
Speaker B: Nice.
Speaker D: All right, so.
Speaker C: I want, like, a kazoo or something.
Speaker E: I'll just have to get a soundboard.
Speaker B: So 13. Nan.
Speaker C: We all have, like, 13.
Speaker E: All right. Oh, that will.
Speaker C: So weird in here.
Speaker A: It's the mini hit. Here's a kazoo that was found in the handle.
Speaker E: All right. That was your. Was that flame attack, your breath weapon? Yeah. Okay, so it does hit the other guy. So that. Yeah, yeah.
Speaker B: It's like.
Speaker E: All right. And it burnt the other one fried like an egg. And now the other one is scratching.
Speaker B: The first hit would have hit both of them too. I did fire both times.
Speaker E: Oh, I didn't realize that.
Speaker B: Yeah, it's just. It's everything in very close.
Speaker E: Okay.
Speaker B: That's why it's just burning the room.
Speaker E: Yeah. So that would burn that guy up too.
Speaker D: He has a lot of fire in this room.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker C: Well, that's good.
Speaker B: Yeah, it's working.
Speaker A: It makes sense.
Speaker E: There you go. All right. Yeah, so that. So you get more fried eggs in there. Is that all that stuff is burnt up.
Speaker B: This feels terrible in here. Yeah. Junior, don't eat anything in here. We'll get you tons of food. Back down.
Speaker A: I head down the tunnel.
Speaker B: I thank you for taking that hit. Are you bloody? What is.
Speaker C: It was bloodied, like, more than half HP or what?
Speaker E: You guys can. You guys can decide above table. However much you want to communicate.
Speaker C: Yeah, I mean, I took.
Speaker A: I had.
Speaker C: I'm pulling up the one HP damage and one stress and two.
Speaker B: Two armor, but I can clear my attack. How much HP are you getting there?
Speaker C: I'm just missing one hp.
Speaker B: Oh, okay.
Speaker C: I just keep using armor and clearing armor.
Speaker B: Okay, that's fine.
Speaker E: Yep. Guardians of. Thank you, boy.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: Cool.
Speaker A: So is this.
Speaker B: Are you good?
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker E: Yes. Yeah, there is. Well, yeah. I'll follow you. Audrey, There's a tunnel up here. Yeah, and here.
Speaker A: Okay, well, let's check out this one.
Speaker D: Before we move on. Exactly.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: So, you guys, that's what most caves were like.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker B: Technically, the mine was kind of like this before. Before we moved in. Okay.
Speaker C: It's okay. We're full of critters that are ugly and nasty.
Speaker E: For that you go to the south.
Speaker A: Is this just an.
Speaker E: No, that is. No, this is also a way you can go. Or you can go south.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker A: But there's not one here, Correct?
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker B: So it's here.
Speaker C: On the outside.
Speaker B: All right.
Speaker E: And if you guys ever want to, like, do, like, listen checks or like, search for things, make sure you tell me. Otherwise, I just assume you're just walking.
Speaker B: But I. I guess when we come back here, I would look for if there's anything in the remainder. They're like trinkets or things like loved ones would want.
Speaker E: I would say you would probably find, like, some, like, bits. There would probably be some, like, bits of jewelry or cloth.
Speaker B: Just something to prove to the veterans. Like, we found them.
Speaker E: Yeah, they're gone.
Speaker B: It's probably the jewelry, but yeah, there's.
Speaker A: Still a ring on it.
Speaker B: Yeah. That in a cloth. Carefully.
Speaker A: I'd be kind of curious if it's got a core.
Speaker C: Oh, I was in there.
Speaker B: There's no clue.
Speaker D: That's true.
Speaker B: You were up close. You're like a professional on this.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker C: Very experienced.
Speaker E: Yeah. I mean, if you, like, dug around it or poked at was like there's the. The only. Like the. The solid bits you find are like. Are bone and like maybe like chunks of tendon and stuff like that.
Speaker B: Not like the ink golem, Correct.
Speaker E: Yeah. Nothing like. Nothing like that. Where. Yeah, there's. Honestly probably with your learnings over the years, probably is just some sort of just mad, like, animated or magical creature. It's definitely not natural.
Speaker B: And then go back and put it.
Speaker A: All the rest of. What do you call that for as a messenger, Mentors. When you kill off something from the weird and then you do the symbols around the ground and like you did for the house.
Speaker B: Oh, I did the exorcism thing.
Speaker E: Or is this purifying burn?
Speaker A: Yeah. I'm not sure if we'll need to do that here.
Speaker E: Okay.
Speaker C: This is just normal weird. This ain't religious weird, is it?
Speaker B: I don't know anything.
Speaker C: I don't know why Junior's talking.
Speaker D: Just putting words together.
Speaker E: If you want to examine, like, the stuff more than it will definitely that would need, like, a knowledge from a doctor perspective.
Speaker B: Doc would be interested. One of his earlier experiences was like, dissecting something to learn about it.
Speaker E: I would say, like, with Doc, you would like. I guess I have.
Speaker B: Plus I have an experience as doctor, so I can.
Speaker E: Right. I. I guess what's. What would you. What are you Looking for.
Speaker B: Because if it's like I want to know, I guess what doc would want to know. So you don't have to guess. Like we should tell you. Right. Doc wants to know what kind of this is. A little bit doctor, but a lot creatures. Like trying to figure out what type of being this is. Like, this is just a gross, you know, mutation, or is this an evil being. Like we've seen possessed creatures, right. Like that's a difference. There's a spirit being and then there's babies and houses.
Speaker A: Few things in between.
Speaker E: Yeah, yeah.
Speaker B: So like is this a spiritual evil phenomenon or is this just a weird mutation?
Speaker E: So I would probably how they classified these things. This would probably be an instinct rule to learn that part.
Speaker A: Cash's DNA.
Speaker B: So every now and then.
Speaker E: Because this is. I guess this is because as the doctor, like, you know, like, this is not. Like this is not natural.
Speaker B: Just like analyzing wouldn't be as useful as like perceiving it.
Speaker E: Yeah, because this is more. Oh, yeah. Because there's analyze here. Let's see.
Speaker B: But your point stands though, is like you're saying if this is more spiritual, the Dr. Side is not going to matter.
Speaker C: The science can't explain.
Speaker E: Right? Yeah, that's. That's what I think. From the stuff that you guys experience, Doc would be able to just like look at this and be like, yeah, that's not natural. Like, you see, like the physical. The natural components it was made out.
Speaker B: Of is like normal under normal.
Speaker E: But like how it was like however it was animated or came to be. That does. I think this would be more of.
Speaker B: A instinct because one of my things, one of my orderborn things is to defeat the darkness. And so like, I need to know, like, what are we dealing with here? Is this something Shadowlands Is this.
Speaker E: Yeah. So yeah. I think this would be more of a perceived sense.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker E: Thing than analyze.
Speaker B: I'm gonna have to change my instincts up because it's terrible. All right.
Speaker E: Yeah. I'm like, that's. If you guys are running it, have a bad stat. I'm fine. If you want to swap it, like, swap it with another one, we can do that here.
Speaker B: I'll spend a bunch to help you ready to go?
Speaker E: Yeah. Because that would make sense for Audrey would be able to help with the instance.
Speaker B: I'll spend a hope. I want to use my preacher sense. Yeah, that works out. I'm on the case. So. 14, 15, 16, 29, 20. And then this is. This is a action. Right? So it's here.
Speaker E: Yes.
Speaker B: Like, we're back where we started.
Speaker E: Oh, yeah. So, so you. What was your. Your total goal is 20. Okay. Yeah. So I will say, like, yeah, as you're. As you and Audrey are looking over this and conferring with each other, you definitely get. That was very much animated with magic and very likely blood magic, because for your little bit of experience when you were in the Shadowlands and that Sicari priestess coming up, you guys. So I. I'd say you. You could. You're pretty sure. And then just. And with the other evidence of the way the vines are like grabbing at you and like trying to like, suck out your life and blood and like. Yeah, yeah. The mosquitoes are on theme too. And just the. Especially this chamber you're in, like, it very much it. There's blood all around you.
Speaker B: A blood filled it. Well, this is something that Ollie talked about so that this is not just like weird, right? This is like stuff that Ollie knows about. Because Ollie talked about blood magic.
Speaker E: Yeah. And you guys found that book of blood. Like, that's one of the forbidden magics. Like, in general, like, magic practitioners are like, no, because it allowed like, it's very much in line with like the dragon age blood magic kind of theme. It's like, it's all about. Generally about domination and control of others.
Speaker B: Does this seem pretty well destroyed?
Speaker E: Oh, yeah. This. This thing's not coming back. Between all the fire and general damage from the Elder. Right.
Speaker C: Where did it come from?
Speaker A: Somebody made it.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker B: Which is not good.
Speaker C: A Blood witch.
Speaker A: That's what it's looking like.
Speaker B: A Blood boy, maybe.
Speaker A: It might have been a Blood boy at once, but it didn't stay that way.
Speaker B: It's a blood man.
Speaker A: Blood blob.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: So once we figured that much out, it continue on to the east.
Speaker E: All right.
Speaker B: Do you have blood at your me? I do. Thought you died.
Speaker C: How do you still have blood?
Speaker B: It's weird.
Speaker C: That is weird.
Speaker E: I don't know how it works. Yeah. So as you guys continue on, we.
Speaker B: Pulled out this napkin.
Speaker A: Then he's got handkerchief and he's like dabbing the blood off the corner of his head, shaking it as he continues down.
Speaker E: Yeah. You guys come approach a large room. Pretty large room. Yeah. And you see like this, you get like the sense that it's very much like this is like set up like an altar of some kind. And there is kind of like blood and scenery, like connected to it. And as you guys are like looking at it, looking around, the chamber. Behind you guys steps out, like large, like, not tall, but like fat, Undivided woman. Steps out from the shadows. She has. She's Fairly tall, almost 6 foot. Oval face, blue eyes. A mohawk that's blue. And she's covered in cured and bleeding flesh and titan armor. And there's like wisps of shadow and red mist drifting off her. And then holding in her hands are wicked curved twin daggers that look like ant pincers. Oh, and then there's like scarab beetles dangling from the ends of those. And she kind of lets off like a little cackle.
Speaker B: I've been waiting, gentlemen.
Speaker E: And that's where we're going to end.
Speaker D: I don't think she's friendly.
Speaker C: Are you a logger?
Speaker E: Cash dies and Nerd junior gets caught.
Speaker B: In the day stuff.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker C: And then I can be Cash again.
Speaker B: And make it easy for you.
Speaker E: I don't know if what is what the deal is with me.
Speaker C: It's because I become Cash over the sessions.
Speaker B: Oh.
Speaker E: So. Yes. So yeah. So this person is behind you guys and you're all right in front of the altar there. And that's where we will pick up next time.
Speaker B: Let's see. End this session.
Speaker E: Do we learn something new and important about the world?
Speaker D: We learn stuff.
Speaker C: You learn the blood magic here.
Speaker B: You actually did discover blood magic for the first time, I think.
Speaker A: Yeah. It's something we've heard about.
Speaker B: But.
Speaker E: Yeah. Now you've experienced it, you firsthand.
Speaker B: Everything's new to me. You got pumped by it.
Speaker C: I had my first beard this morning. That's new.
Speaker E: Did we overcome a notable monster or enemy?
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker E: Did we loot any? A memorable treasure. And I don't think we've solved any problems.
Speaker B: Let's see. Got a feeling.
Speaker A: Are we still having like RP pints and sort of thing?
Speaker E: I'm not. If you got like. Because I'm not sure a good way to like use those without it becoming.
Speaker D: I don't think we should use.
Speaker E: Yeah, that's where I'm at right now.
Speaker D: Keep that instead of adding things while we're still trying to figure out the system.
Speaker B: Yeah, that's probably fair.
Speaker E: Kind of might be something like maybe you get three of them and it'll be like a handful goal or something. I don't know.
Speaker B: We'll figure out new progress towards some objective of ours and an outcome. But yeah, I agree with to figure that out.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker B: Right now we're still figuring it out.
Speaker E: Yep. Any low light highlights?
Speaker D: I don't know if I like the bar. We'll find out.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker A: It feels like good support, but it's.
Speaker C: Really hard to almost see it level Blasted everybody. That was nice.
Speaker D: Yeah. But that's once per rest.
Speaker E: But you can rest I think three times before you take a long rest. So. Yeah.
Speaker D: But that'd be like fight, rest. Fight like.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker A: Which.
Speaker E: Oh generally now like we'll see. The system is like built for that.
Speaker D: We'll see what I'm level 2 and what options go.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker C: And you could stay at your end just with classes if you wanted to.
Speaker B: Yep. Mostly. I like the character.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker B: I'm not picking anything bad.
Speaker E: No.
Speaker B: It needs to be fun for you.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker A: You walk into a light the same but different.
Speaker D: May not just exist carousel happen.
Speaker E: That's true. I mean we. We could do that.
Speaker D: No, we'll see.
Speaker E: I'll see if you need to. It's like.
Speaker A: So here's the quantum everything.
Speaker B: Yes.
Speaker E: Probably. Any new long term goals?
Speaker B: No. I think they all know.
Speaker E: And then next session I guess this fight. But after this what Clear the cave.
Speaker B: Go back up.
Speaker D: Tell the people what happened.
Speaker B: And there was the other thing you mentioned via John. Do anything. Was there another John besides the laundry?
Speaker E: I don't think so.
Speaker D: Doesn't have any come back.
Speaker A: There is one thing while we're doing this because the hounds can't continue forest if there's another misty spot.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: That we might need to go in and do the sand.
Speaker B: Yep.
Speaker A: So yeah. I'd have asked Apu to continue searching. Let's see if there's any more strange places like this.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker B: And be careful.
Speaker E: Yes.
Speaker D: I. Yeah.
Speaker E: Like that can be going on while you guys are doing this. Anyway. So I guess after this adventure which. Which I'm going to like you. Once you finish dealing with everything related to these. This logger thing will level up which will probably be next session.
Speaker B: Potentially. You love hello.
Speaker C: Right now.
Speaker E: Then with Dagger Heart. Unless you. I guess. Let's see. Because you are potentially gone. No, not next two weeks. So next weekend is fine for everyone. Yeah.
Speaker B: And I'll know for sure.
Speaker C: Next weekend is Thanksgiving Saturday.
Speaker E: Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker B: So family started a tradition of going to Elmer's for Thanksgiving. We actually go out to eat as a family because there's too many people here for any one house. So we just go there and just take out. It's actually. They're packed. It's. And we get this back room there and there's nobody else but us in there.
Speaker D: Nice.
Speaker B: It's actually kind of cool. And then we go to someone's house. They have. They actually make a Thanksgiving meal that you can buy but also just so you can get breakfast. Actually last two Thanksgivings I've had breakfast for Thanksgiving, which seems sacrilegious, but it's amazing.
Speaker A: Last.
Speaker C: Last Thanksgiving, I just got a bunch of Chinese food. It was awesome.
Speaker D: Chinatown here, or whatever it is, has a pinky duck. Oh, that's a Christmas story.
Speaker C: Really?
Speaker E: Yeah. Are you out of. You're out of town?
Speaker C: No, I work on Saturday.
Speaker A: All right.
Speaker C: Yeah, I work on Saturday.
Speaker E: So you're here Thursday?
Speaker C: Yeah, I'll be here Thursday.
Speaker E: You want to come eat with us?
Speaker D: It'll be Wednesday, I guess.
Speaker E: I guess Wednesday.
Speaker D: We have to do it the day before your work.
Speaker E: Well, we can always get the duck and reheat it for Thursday.
Speaker B: I don't know.
Speaker C: Yeah, I'm not above.
Speaker B: I don't know.
Speaker D: I've never. I've got one.
Speaker B: I've only had a bit. I was young when I had it too. But it's typical dirt.
Speaker E: We'll probably. I'm saying too. We'll get pizza for Thursday if they're open. No, we just order it the day before because if that repeats final. We get stuff.
Speaker B: But we'll be around for Saturday and stuff, because we're just doing that on.
Speaker C: I'll be coming from work on Saturday.
Speaker B: For the next day, which should be fun, but.
Speaker E: Yeah, Wes. I guess once we figure out what we're doing.
Speaker D: Water, planes, Trains and Automobiles.
Speaker E: That's huge. Have you seen it?
Speaker B: Oh, dear.
Speaker E: That's a.
Speaker D: Thanks. That's like the only Thanksgiving movie.
Speaker B: It's so good.
Speaker A: Is it Thanksgiving or was it.
Speaker D: It's Thanksgiving. It's actually the only, like, real Thanksgiving movie.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker A: I just remember holiday travel.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker A: So random.
Speaker B: Steve Martin. Thing is, when I mentioned Steve Martin to people now he's been at it for so long that generations experienced him in at different stages. For me, it's like it's playing Trains and Automobiles and like Three Amigos. And I. I say. I'm like, he's the guy in Three Amigos. People go, what? Because they haven't seen it. I'm like, well, we have to go watch that. They're like, oh, it's the guy from whatever.
Speaker E: The murder.
Speaker D: Only murder.
Speaker B: Well, only murders if it's newer. But then some people saw him in the 1. What's the family movie with the big family? Oh, remember not Father of the Bride? Although that's one. But there's another one where he's.
Speaker D: I don't know. He's been in the ton of it.
Speaker E: Yeah.
Speaker B: But it's like depending because he's been at it for so many decades. Like, people encounter him at different Times like, oh, he's the guy in this. You're like, yeah, he's done so much.
Speaker D: And then he's like in a band.
Speaker B: Which is really good. So banjo stuff. Anyways, it's funny how I can't say playing.
Speaker D: I can see.
Speaker B: I can't see Planes, Trains or Dirty Rotten Scoundrels or Three Amigos. A ton of people haven't seen those. And I'm like, go watch those right now.
Speaker E: They're hysterical.
Speaker D: Planes, Train. All the original cut was three and a half hours.
Speaker B: Really? I didn't know that. Yeah.
Speaker A: Wow.
Speaker D: Because. Yeah, that's cool.
Speaker E: It's watched.
Speaker D: It's interesting watching, like, because people, they found like the deleted scenes or whatever and they're like piecing it together. Like, the director would just let them go and be like, improv.
Speaker B: Well, with that cat. Yeah.
Speaker D: And they would. Actually, there was like, I was just watching a thing on it. And when they're in like that guy's taxi, they spent a day just filming improv with the taxi driver. And amazing. And it's like, man, those two. So they just spend like a day filming this improv.
Speaker B: I know for tv, they filmed the whole, like, profanity scene. They filmed a whole other TV version of it. It's not dubbed. He literally just says freaking. Like, it's not mouse mouthed over. It's a whole separate scene of him saying it. Because they didn't want to do it, so they planned for television.
Speaker D: Yeah, that movie's great. It only works because cell phones didn't exist at the time. Because nowadays, like, oh, yeah, you just be like, hey, I missed my plane or got canceled. I'm going to be here and I need money.
Speaker B: Right. It's like so many movies like that. I'll find out this week, you know, about whether I'll be gone or not for sure. But yeah, that'll be fine.
Speaker E: When someone can run a one shot.
Speaker B: Or we'll skip.
Speaker E: Something and then I guess. Yeah, then I guess maybe we'll actually do.
Speaker B: I don't know if.
Speaker E: Then I guess. Wes, if you're interested in Steve, same thing. If you're. If you're not doing anything on Thursday, you'd be more than welcome to come eat food. Well, let's go. I guess maybe figure out what we want to do on Wednesday.
Speaker D: Wednesday?
Speaker E: Yeah. You and I will get the duck.
Speaker D: For that because they're closed on Thursday.
Speaker E: Yeah. But Monday we'll figure out. Yeah, I know you were thinking about making stuffing and cheesecake, so maybe we'll get some meat and then I guess. Yeah, I guess Wes and Steve, if you guys are interested in coming, just let us know. I guess. But.
Speaker A: Pretty busy on Thursday. Otherwise I'd probably take you up on the place to get out of the house.
Speaker D: Going out for cigarettes. Make your family wonder.
Speaker B: Cigarettes. Look at the hint.
Speaker A: Pair of cigarettes and maybe something a little harder.
Speaker B: It's code. Yeah.
Speaker E: Oh yeah. I guess. Back to tabletop for. Do you guys know what you want to do next session after this? As far as story direction.
Speaker D: That'd be Docker. Audrey.
Speaker E: But yeah, that's what I. Yeah.
Speaker B: Time wise probably you because. Because I gotta kind of. I mean I gotta talk to creepy in town.
Speaker E: Right.
Speaker B: But I need to check out.
Speaker A: But everything else I can find coin locations.
Speaker B: Yeah. Because everything else is long term with rams. So that'd be more.
Speaker A: Make more sense to me at this point. Jacques map is the only thing that really gives me other locations for coins.
Speaker E: Oh that's only like a 200 mile radius, I think. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker A: But my map only takes me to the mountain and we're not ready to storm that the castle yet.
Speaker B: No.
Speaker D: And you have that map to drop what I gave.
Speaker E: And then Nook is calling you to.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker E: Visit Aqualash.
Speaker A: So that. That might be it after we wrap this up. The forest is safe and we.
Speaker B: Well everybody.
Speaker A: Sorry about your loved ones. But hey, here's the.
Speaker D: Here's their filling. Here's their crowns.
Speaker B: Doc probably wouldn't do that. He would just take Joy. I don't know.
Speaker A: Junior found a pretty cool finger.
Speaker B: I had a ring on it.
Speaker A: That could make a really interesting necklace.
Speaker E: Yeah. So I guess I'll plan to finish this and then maybe some stuff with coins and the Nook. And then the Nook for sure down to Acolyte.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker E: Maybe I'll make some encounters for that or anything encounter.
Speaker A: For that for safety sake for Audrey. Could I have it like every night before he goes to bed. And then in the morning he pulls out that map and he does a check a 200 mile. It's like King Oak grab income.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker E: We can totally do that.
Speaker B: We can start doing that.
Speaker E: It'll be on you to I guess remember to that you do that.
Speaker D: Okay.
Speaker E: To tell me so we can look.
Speaker A: Considering most of the coins came when a minigun was brought to town.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: That wasn't really expected per se.
Speaker D: Kind of killed something.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker E: All right. Yeah. So that. That should be enough stuff. Plus the other things that other stuff going on there.
Speaker B: Don't know the.
Speaker A: Or the coins would hold Audrey's fascination But there's so much going on, I don't think he's actively chasing them because they're coming.
Speaker B: So if.
Speaker A: If he knows. And then later. It might be an active.
Speaker E: Yep. Because your map points to one in.
Speaker A: Like, the fortress guarded behind.
Speaker D: Trying to find it.
Speaker B: Let's go there first. And everything else is just downhill.
Speaker E: Hey. Once you're level two, you might try the front door maybe.
Speaker B: Is everything else.
Speaker E: We leveled up?
Speaker C: We're feeling strong.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: I need the one coin to rule them all. It's got to be there.
Speaker B: They got the gates, tier four.
Speaker E: And then once you guys have more cards. I have a bunch of empty. Yeah. Binders in here if you want to use one. Or even now if you want to use one. To keep your cards handy. A sheet. You can. I can do that.
Speaker A: I'll track down the binder.
Speaker E: Throw it out there. Like, send one to Steve.
Speaker D: That's very handy.
Speaker E: Do you want one fall or are you good?
Speaker B: I'm good for now.
Speaker A: So the top row is who I am.
Speaker B: Yep.
Speaker D: That's kind of what I did. Like Highborne and then my bar.
Speaker E: To read up on how to level up.
Speaker B: But I don't think it's super. It's super easy.
Speaker C: I literally just read it because I.
Speaker D: Was like, you just have to do that's hard for the players. You have to decide, yeah.
Speaker A: I'm ready.
Speaker E: And then I'm fine too. Like, if you pick something, you're like, no, this sucked. I want to swap it out. I'm fine doing that.
Speaker C: In the back is where I'm putting vaults. Once you get past that, swap it in and out.
Speaker B: Yep.
Speaker A: That's true.
Speaker E: You would have enough space since you only have five.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker E: Of those cards at a time. Anyways.
Speaker B: All right, I'm going to stop the idea. Okay.
