Session 23.2025.04.19

AI Transcribed Audio

Speaker A: Like didn't support it properly. Yeah, it didn't even like work on Windows a lot of time.

Speaker B: There was a short while too where you had to have like specific CPU to even run some of this stuff.

Speaker C: I remember that.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker B: Really rare. It was like the MMX series somewhere in that timeline. Super weird.

Speaker C: Based off computer Upgrade how what DirectX came out because they had a good jump in technology would be like, oh, these games require this one. And I was like, well, we can't do that.

Speaker B: I can't remember the name of the company, but there was a company.

Speaker A: I.

Speaker B: Think they were making something called WebGL. But they were showing like graphic accelerated characters like in web browsers and stuff. They were way ahead of their time because like graphics acceleration in a browser does not even like, why would you ever want to do that? Now all browsers have 3D acceleration in them.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker B: But I remember like it was blowing my mind. I had this 3D Santa Claus living character wandering around the screen and I was like, in my browser, I'm like, that's trippy. That's really cool. But they, they made basically Direct X books with a web plugin. I thought this probably will never catch on.

Speaker A: Of course not everybody runs everything in JavaScript. Yep. Doing a little bit of like JavaScript using like React, it's just like, Sorry, it's. It's mostly just for my learning. But it's like who, why? And then they, the company guys, Pickford guys want you. They use typescripts too. So that makes it a little like easier. But it also like doesn't help.

Speaker B: Yeah. That's why it's. React is such a big deal. It's because like trying to code like just raw JavaScript.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: Are we Westlist today?

Speaker A: Yes.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker A: Yeah, we're in the library and I know next to West. West is. Yeah. Wes. He does not exist to your characters. Never has.

Speaker B: I mean we should probably fill that seat sometime.

Speaker A: Let's see. Huge stuff. Okay. Yeah. So then we'll double check again. So next week is a Coyote gang. Wes is here, but you're gone. Okay. And then the, the third Wes is gone and then you're back. And then we'll do another Coyote Game game. So that may be a two parter or two separate stories. Still thinking a little bit. And then on the 10th we'll be back on Savicola. We may do pizza that on the 10th since we're all like probably finding back together we're not sick. So. So that's mate cheese. It's already made. Yeah. So I guess 10-5-10 end up on the pizza.

Speaker D: Doesn't have a graduation.

Speaker A: And then let's see. Oh, and then for I guess system wise hold action. I'm. I'm fine with it. It's not going to break anything. I don't think as far as like your character on your turn, you want to hold an action until someone like moves in range.

Speaker B: Obviously I support the gm if you're like I think this suddenly is broken. Call his name.

Speaker D: And then big bad pokes his head around the corner.

Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. And I was reading. I was just reading that. The library movement stuff. And it doesn't specifically say you can only go down. It doesn't also say you can't like go up and down walking. So we're just. I'm just ruling that you can go. If you want to go up depth, you can go up depth. If you want to go lateral depth you can go. If you want to go deeper, you can say. And it makes more logical sense to me in this place anyways because you'd always find stairwells or a ladder to climb up to go less depth. Or it's you just walking to the newer areas of the library. I guess. I don't however. And then I guess. Did you just go.

Speaker D: Makes sense.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: You don't have to go down to go back up.

Speaker A: Yeah. And then I see Wes isn't here. But we'll do this, I guess. Double check on progress. I guess. Still have Audrey at 23.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker A: Okay.

Speaker D: Unless there's something in the room. That way I'm probably skiing. The flying books that.

Speaker A: Yeah. If you didn't Mark Carter somewhere. Probably isn't then. And then I got docket plus 23. 24. 24 and then entry. Yeah.

Speaker C: 26.

Speaker A: Okay.

Speaker C: West is 27.

Speaker A: Yep. Yep. And then this is for Steve. That's his new crossbow. And the shroud.

Speaker C: Okay.

Speaker A: After Audrey fired it, that information came to you.

Speaker D: Okay. Grim.

Speaker A: You might have a bigger grim now after you read it. Okay. Last time, let's see. You guys went through the mausoleum holding pens Tearoom actually. I guess the mosum where that's where we started with all again. And holding pen you found observed the five obsidian marmosets. Then you guys went in the tea room with sandwiches and cake. Cake on the floor.

Speaker D: First good meal we've had in a long time.

Speaker A: Jeff found the rest of the dough and desperado Desperate desperados. There it is.

Speaker C: Stolen from the AT radio. He was gone. He went back to his desk to write them. They're just not there.

Speaker D: That's what they're thinking. The library is more quantum. So even though you take it, it's there and it's not there yet. You destroy the knowledge. But somebody else thought of it anyway.

Speaker C: So it's connected to all libraries, though.

Speaker A: Everywhere, all at once.

Speaker C: Very possible. We just took a coffee.

Speaker A: And that probably even means across like time. Like across the time. Like wheels or whatever. Yeah.

Speaker D: Those are dark thoughts that came. I was looking at that evil magic book. If I burn it, it's just going to be in another part of the library, you know.

Speaker C: Yeah. We might find a newer version or.

Speaker D: An older version based on the addition.

Speaker C: Yeah. Time is the end of this now.

Speaker D: You rehabilitate a book.

Speaker C: Doc would just shoot the book.

Speaker A: So you kind of did rehabilitate the book. You disabled it. But the knowledge is not readability. Let's see. You went to the Phantom Punt pump room where you bought the heron monster and found the crossbow. Then you went in the stuffed animals room, which was like taxidermy animals, even though stuffed animals also would be funny. So maybe. Maybe I'll just roll. It'd be 50. 50.

Speaker C: I know they had stuffed animals back then.

Speaker A: They would. I mean. Sewing. Yeah. Oh, yeah.

Speaker D: Oh, teddy bears.

Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. There's definitely a house.

Speaker D: The creepy doll brand.

Speaker A: Plus, you may find stuff in different times here too.

Speaker D: Soft rabbits.

Speaker A: You fought eight black librarians. Yep. Then you went to the chapel with that had taken floor the omnibus of a cult manual and hyperdense dictionary. So if you spend a downtime project, I'll still look at how the magnitude of that. But that can be a plus one to the source chart curve.

Speaker D: Yeah, I'll go that one.

Speaker A: Oh, then the. Yeah, you guys found the porcelain mass resembling the human skull, which is worth a credit rating when stole.

Speaker C: That's right.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: Well, we don't know what happened to it. It disappeared.

Speaker A: That's true. Yeah.

Speaker C: We don't remember finding it.

Speaker A: Then you found that there's a magical throwing knife in the altar. Give you. Doesn't.

Speaker C: I didn't pick up anything except for those coins.

Speaker D: I think it was tingly in my fingers. And I thought, no, maybe I won't give that to the crazy miner. I'll just give him the credit rating.

Speaker A: Yeah. Then he went to the storage vault where he found the three Occultum coins that you got.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: A violin made of glass. The burial shroud of Sears.

Speaker C: We take the violin.

Speaker A: And then.

Speaker C: Yeah, it's just gonna be short.

Speaker A: And that's where you fought the ogre spiders and saved the Three floating brains which are still with us. Yes, they are with you and her friend. Yes, they.

Speaker D: That's here for a necromancer. They told us not to eliminate everything.

Speaker A: Yep. They informed you that they are called silk. And whenever they talk, it's always we silt. Yep. Silt. Yawnings.

Speaker D: So do they have individual names or is it just silt like this?

Speaker A: Silt Like a three floater. They formed like a floating brain core. Survived month. Yep. And then we went in the steam vents. That's where you guys are. And there you fought the three furious books.

Speaker C: What was it?

Speaker A: Is there any books in there?

Speaker C: I don't think we looked.

Speaker A: Yeah, there was dictionaries of current languages and. Yeah, you would have marked. You would have already had. You would have marked progress for that last time, I think.

Speaker C: Yes, I remember that. No.

Speaker A: And then there's. Yeah, so that. Yeah, it's just current languages.

Speaker B: It's pretty amazing the three of us made it down here.

Speaker D: It's gonna be more amazing if the three of us made it out of here.

Speaker C: Going up.

Speaker B: I'm really curious how we got through the ceiling last night.

Speaker A: I don't know.

Speaker D: It's just this.

Speaker A: Hollywood chi. Like, I blasted it. Oh, they did. Oh, you guys don't. You don't have to go through the ceiling anymore. Or travel wise.

Speaker C: There's stairs now.

Speaker A: Yeah, you can just walk up. Yeah. You can find a place where it just goes up higher.

Speaker D: So you're going up as we're walking through the maze. Nice color. Is it possible to make a subspace storage? Kind of like a bag of holding or that sort of thing.

Speaker A: So I would. I would say, would Audrey even have a concept of anything remotely like that magnet?

Speaker D: A storage space? I don't know if necromancy requires a lot of components.

Speaker B: The closest thing would be the bird that eats the books.

Speaker D: That's true.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: Experienced.

Speaker A: I'd say if you could. You could ask about that. Like if she would know if you've even shown her. Yeah.

Speaker D: Oh, she would have seen us being the. The writer and the Dove. The Dove and the Desperate. Where did the books go?

Speaker C: Have to wait for a 10 foot pole from her back and then be like, how you do that?

Speaker D: But it would be a question. Audrey's to this point of we're coming across some cool things, but he doesn't think he can carry it all. And also, if there's a subspace that we can put it in, the librarians won't be able to find it and take it back.

Speaker C: Yeah, all of Us have a book on, like, one book or two on a certain token.

Speaker D: It's like, all right, selling your horse. Load it up in the ramp, which is kind of a subspace.

Speaker A: It's true.

Speaker C: We do have a storage.

Speaker A: Yeah. So if you're asking about the stuff like that that Audrey would have experience with, otherwise, I'd say you'd have. No, Nobody in your world would have an idea that at least where you.

Speaker C: Guys travel, like, one sign. Crazy.

Speaker A: Yeah. So as you. You guys are traveling, are you guys staying here and asking her about that stuff? Are you just kind of like.

Speaker D: It would be as we're walking conversation.

Speaker A: We were still in the.

Speaker C: We're not in the library, per se. We're still in the rooms.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: We haven't found the path out yet, but we're making progress.

Speaker C: We went really deep.

Speaker A: Yeah, you guys went super deep. Still in the tank. All right, so you just go to 28.

Speaker B: 2.

Speaker A: Yeah, she would. She would say that where she's from, that it's. That's, like, a common thing to be able to have spaces for storage.

Speaker D: How easy is it to create them? Is it just a matter of will?

Speaker A: And I don't know the magic for.

Speaker C: That.

Speaker A: But it's complicated, I'm sure.

Speaker D: Okay.

Speaker A: It's out of my area of expertise to create those items, but they exist, relatively common. Okay.

Speaker C: I'd ask her, does her magic work the same way here as it did right where she's from? If it feels the same or she's done some stuff.

Speaker A: Yeah, she's done a little bit of magic. She would. So you would say that it. The source feels closer, but it seems still. Everything still seems to, like, function the same. So as you guys walking up this staircase, you come into another calculation room. Calculation engine plays like the shelves. Way to use machine made of clockwork and steam pumps. Incredibly complex. Machine pisses and creaks and clicks and turns. There's a terminal on the front of the machine, and it's got the keyboard, like the a to Z, 0 to 9 punctuation you guys are familiar with, like that. And then there's four white librarians working on it, like, making sure it's, like, maintaining it.

Speaker D: What's their reaction to us as we walk in?

Speaker A: Say, I need a line. Yeah. The books you see, they're not paid to deal with.

Speaker D: I don't know. There's some security guys in it that make me nervous. For all I know, they've got a dentist. Hung all the cameras.

Speaker C: For help on my printer. My printer's not Connecting.

Speaker A: The. The books. And he likes. Let me put a ticket in. Start rifling through the printer Work printers.

Speaker D: And you. It's in the library. Yeah.

Speaker A: The room on printers you're gonna set fire to this room are all like just collections of like gossip.

Speaker D: Like current gossip or ancient gossip.

Speaker A: All kinds of gossip.

Speaker D: Is there anything about Ory?

Speaker B: Shadow Man's got something.

Speaker A: Tavern's lord.

Speaker B: Let's go.

Speaker D: Confirmation that escaped the burning tavern.

Speaker C: Adventurer bit Sabbath.

Speaker A: Yeah, right. I was gonna say. Yeah, you would. You would probably. You would find bits of gossip about like Orzine or the Shadowland. I said. But it's what it. Like it's not useful because you have no way. You have no clue if it's true. Like there's no way to verify if it's like true or false. No progress mark. But you would find there's last snippets.

Speaker C: And stuff like what in the world.

Speaker D: So there's that one page about my baby that came from the grave. Suck my blood.

Speaker A: I know that one. Then, yeah. As you guys are looking through the books.

Speaker B: How am I supposed to have Shadowlands conspiracy theories unless I take these books with me? Professional conspiracy theorist.

Speaker D: There's a rumor about that.

Speaker B: I could start a cult with one of these books.

Speaker A: Sorry. No, that's fine. It's funny. Jock is here. Like one of the bookshelves swings open to reveal a secret passage leading someone somewhere.

Speaker C: Yeah, I mean, like I have continued passage over here.

Speaker D: Audrey's tempted to ask stupid questions to the machine to see if you can find out more information, but it sounds so much better.

Speaker C: Any other librarians at the terminal?

Speaker A: No, they're just like. They're as you've seen, like the white ones. They generally completely ignore you.

Speaker C: We should at least look at the terminal and make sure it's. And like not just a answer machine.

Speaker A: Like working on it. It looks identical to like the one you interacted with before.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker D: Does Ollie have any questions?

Speaker C: I'd show Ollie. Or tell her how it works.

Speaker A: Oh, she. She would be familiar with it. That's true.

Speaker C: For one moment.

Speaker A: And she's like, I just want to get out of here.

Speaker B: Taking the secret passage.

Speaker A: You guys can stay here and research if you want.

Speaker C: Last time we just got booked.

Speaker D: Yeah. Somewhere in the library.

Speaker A: Progress. Oh, that's the part with the machine. Yeah, you heard progress with it if you ask questions. So you could. You could. You could use this machine to confirm or contradict some of the gossip. So if you guys want to do that, you just enter in, like the story titles and then you guys could all mark the six progress. You guys just spend some time doing that.

Speaker C: I probably would have looked for some Eldrite class up in this specific and ask the computer questions on Eldoret.

Speaker D: Would they call it by name? It'd be like strange ore found in the purple metal turned me into new. But I got better. Now I float like a duck.

Speaker B: My teeth are floating.

Speaker A: So what I'll do is between each progress I'll roll on the event table. So like you guys spend the time running through one question so you get progress. And then I'll roll on the event table in here. See if we get through all of the.

Speaker B: For each of those.

Speaker A: No, just as per round. So you guys do so because it would, you know, it's gonna be like 18. Yeah, that'd be insane.

Speaker D: The odds of being found by the librarians.

Speaker B: And Doc takes his gun out and lifts out.

Speaker D: No, no, don't do that. You'll be a phantom in the core.

Speaker A: All right. Progress. Yes. Yeah. So instead of doing the six total, we're just doing one chunks at a time. So you've done two with nothing happening.

Speaker D: Good guy or bad guy?

Speaker C: Stupid news. Is he really a good guy or is he a bad guy?

Speaker A: Yeah, stupid. So yeah, as you guys finish with.

Speaker D: The justice or hell Rider, it's a.

Speaker C: Picture of him punching a baby. Find out at 5 o'clock before he.

Speaker D: Got his bony busy trip writer was root here.

Speaker A: Four yellow order librarians come in and like start like looking over the books and stuff. These are the ones that maintain the books. You guys give me like either agility or mind plus defense rules to see if they notice you having any looks on your persons. So you need nine or better.

Speaker B: Yeah. Thirteen.

Speaker D: See, I can go pair once.

Speaker B: You need to re roll.

Speaker A: If you keep it, it's a calamitous failure and you earn a hero point.

Speaker C: I got 11.

Speaker D: I'll spend a hero point on that.

Speaker B: One you get the satisfaction of for double sixes.

Speaker C: Oh, dang.

Speaker A: Mighty success.

Speaker C: Yeah. Put it in the.

Speaker A: So you might read check the some of the mighty success tables may be helpful. All right. So they don't notice.

Speaker B: Did you pass?

Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. Two more.

Speaker D: Maybe a mighty advantage. Most of it is.

Speaker A: Yeah. Most combat related. Yeah.

Speaker D: Knock them down. Grab one pure carnage or having an.

Speaker B: Extra role on another. I think it would be good.

Speaker D: Maybe a little charm. No, that's disarm.

Speaker A: Knock down the yellow.

Speaker C: There is mighty advantage.

Speaker B: Right. That's what he was talking about maybe doing. So you get an advantage.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: Yeah. That's probably the best being a bonus.

Speaker C: Guy on your next roll.

Speaker A: There you go. Because I mean, that means you'll roll three dice and keep the best too. You Rebel slayer.

Speaker B: Including six hope for the best are no.

Speaker A: Probably.

Speaker D: The mighty advantage. Gain a bonus die on your next roll. Involving disadvantage. So my stealthy hiding skills, my smuggling ability.

Speaker A: Have to roll again.

Speaker B: Do it.

Speaker A: All right. Yep. So the you guys, they look at, scrutinize you guys, like, put away some of the books you guys had gotten out and then disappear.

Speaker C: Remember where the secret passage was just in case they went over there and closed the door locked.

Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. No, they. They're. The yellow ones are only like, concerned about the book. So they like, came and like, looked at you guys, like, see if you had any books hidden on you. You avoided that. And then they like, took the other books that you had, like some of the books you had out and put them back in the shelves and then just disappeared. So you could type in the proper.

Speaker D: Questions into the computer.

Speaker C: Prison wallet works again.

Speaker B: It's either a small book or a big wallet.

Speaker D: When they come through, did they look at Ollie at all or is it just books? I mean, she's kind of a phantom of cloak.

Speaker A: They do like. They kind of like. This is kind of like the brains. They like, look at them but don't.

Speaker B: They're not the strangest thing.

Speaker D: Okay. You're not causing problem in my certain responsibility.

Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, exactly. The. The librarians are very much like that. They're very like, you didn't burn my books.

Speaker D: You didn't knock down my shelves. I'm okay with you.

Speaker A: You're not breaking the machine. Yeah. You're not like smack breaking door. Like, no. Ollie would. Would tell you that if you guys. If grays show up, you're going to have a fight because they're the ones.

Speaker D: That are looking to collect undead to power the system.

Speaker A: The undead. Yep. And like. And put the. And then. And reds will be after the grays and reds are after the brains because they'd want to put them back in jars.

Speaker B: I have a conversation while we're like, doing the computer. I would talk to Ollie for a little bit and just be like, what were you like when you had your original?

Speaker A: Well, before it, I guess, disintegrated, basically, I was. Ginger describes herself as like around 5 7, Latino looking, 34 years old, kind of average body, rectangular face, green eyes. Her hair used to be ash blonde.

Speaker B: What kind of stuff would you do?

Speaker A: Or our existence.

Speaker B: But she was in her own realm, right?

Speaker A: Yeah. She was in fractera when you were.

Speaker B: Walking around as a skin bag.

Speaker D: Missionary, Santis vendor.

Speaker A: She has mostly traveled collecting knowledge.

Speaker B: I can understand that. I mostly collect medical knowledge. But unfortunately, through experience, fights and bites. I've got other knowledge that I heard the hard way.

Speaker A: Oh.

Speaker D: Andre has all sorts of questions. If we had to smuggle them out, could they hide? If we put them in the. I don't know. How big are the brains?

Speaker A: They're human. They're human brains. And then they have like. The spinal column is like trailing down.

Speaker D: If I saw in my horse and you were riding my horse and I put it back in the ring, would you go in?

Speaker A: Are you asking Ollie that or the brains?

Speaker D: Well, kind of a group question. As far as for smuggling. If we run into Grace or we run into Reds or.

Speaker A: So you wouldn't say. None of you have tried. So I don't think. You have no clue if that will work or not.

Speaker C: Think they could put people in a ring.

Speaker D: So if they were alive.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker D: Yeah. I.

Speaker B: But the horses tend to the magic. Would the magic of the ring. Consider it an object?

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker B: And would it destroy them? And horses can live there.

Speaker D: And that's why I'm kind of like. Would work because the horses are. Are alive, but the ring was specifically designed for the horses. I don't know. So Audrey's kind of talking out loud.

Speaker B: This is a Goblet of Fire moment. How literal can I be with this?

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker D: And it's one of those things of. If anybody wants to experiment and try it. Because Audrey is tossing stuff out there. He doesn't know how bad the grays are, only that he. Same with the reds. We fought wax. But if we need to figure out a place to hide you where they can't follow. But as it's an experiment, we don't know the results. I leave it up to them whether or not they want to.

Speaker A: The Harry Potter book, a long time.

Speaker C: Ago, when it first came out, it.

Speaker B: Always stuck with me. Was them basically packing the goblet. That always stuck with me. I'm like, that's exactly how that would happen. They would just not think about somebody.

Speaker D: Ever throwing a piece of paper with somebody else's name.

Speaker A: Well. Or adding.

Speaker B: They added another school. It was a vulnerability in the.

Speaker A: They hacked it.

Speaker B: They just found an exploit. We're like, oh, let's add another school.

Speaker D: The port key.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: So technically, Gryffindor didn't find it.

Speaker A: It was the fictional Porsche.

Speaker D: They had only one student.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: I'm just.

Speaker A: Hogwarts.

Speaker C: It's just a disaster.

Speaker B: Absolutely.

Speaker C: Ain't it? Like think about anything. Whatever.

Speaker B: The most negligent school ever.

Speaker D: The magic doesn't kill you. It will only make you stronger.

Speaker A: That's right.

Speaker D: And we have a really good hospital wing.

Speaker B: I just made to think of that as like a technicality in the magic of the ring. It's like put a human in there. But how about this severed brain?

Speaker A: It doesn't know what it is.

Speaker D: Or spirit in a skeletal body.

Speaker A: Right.

Speaker B: It doesn't know.

Speaker A: Just looks at it like it's a saddle bag. Let's go.

Speaker D: So anyway, Audrey would propose that if he doesn't know if it works. But if anybody wants to try it.

Speaker A: Ollie. You get a negative from Ollie and from the brains.

Speaker D: Want to experiment? We're only risking your existence. Nothing personal.

Speaker B: I warned. I look at all my other brains and I say, just so you know, this is the not. Not the last creative solution you're going to get from our friend.

Speaker D: In a pinch.

Speaker B: Yeah. But sometimes it pays off.

Speaker A: SHE LAUGHS and like if we had other small animals or something you could put in the saddle bags or something that would be worth trying first before.

Speaker C: Go back to Stinker.

Speaker B: I just go.

Speaker A: No.

Speaker B: Last thing we need is the horses being chased by Stinker in a pasture somewhere.

Speaker C: You just run off.

Speaker B: He's just always stuck in there. The horses are like, don't send me back.

Speaker D: Sinker comes back completely humbled. The horses kicked me all over.

Speaker A: Yeah. So you get your fourth progress and with nothing happening, I'm done. If that was two, your fifth one is fine. Yeah. I'm definitely talking to all. Yeah. And then you get near sixth one.

Speaker D: That gets me to 29.

Speaker A: So we'll put. And then Wes will be the same as you'll put.

Speaker C: So he'll be done as well. I think it's 27.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: We got a long way to go up though.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: Portal the new how to use your local mirror to get into the chapel ads.

Speaker B: I don't ask Ollie long. Or searching for those other answers. Just chit chat and be like. If you ever could go back into your original body, would you want to at this point?

Speaker A: Yeah. It'd be nice to have flesh. Yeah.

Speaker D: Isn't she in her original body right now?

Speaker A: Skeleton.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker A: It's like. And she's like. With the right magic it could rebuild my body so it's. I don't have the bones right here. Where do you.

Speaker B: I kind of eye widen at them.

Speaker A: Like.

Speaker B: Where do you get that?

Speaker A: Energy comes from that. And when it's. Or if you know a dragon or a demon, I guess either of them have the divine magic needed to reconstitute your body. But I would be extremely weary of doing that with a dragon demon.

Speaker B: Yeah, I'm with you there on that we can agree.

Speaker A: So if you find a dragon that old enough, they could certainly do it. So it cost you something, but certainly.

Speaker B: That'S something that you wanted. Something out. We have other stuff that we're doing, but when we get out of here, maybe that's something we can help personally pursuing.

Speaker C: I'm already come around going the.

Speaker B: Yeah. Because it's going to be kind of hard on the outside if you float or wander around looking like this.

Speaker C: Right. Even if we come in the main town.

Speaker B: Yeah, I would ask too, like, did the brains have bodies initially or is this their state?

Speaker A: She would go, yeah, as far as I know, the. The brains were people that just had their brains taken out. It either died in here or they were brought here from something and they stay in the jars. And sometimes as the ages pass or time passes, they develop these psionic skills or whatever it is they have. Interesting.

Speaker B: Well, we're talking about getting a place of our own. We might be able to hide out with some of our less public friends. We have a place in mind that needs to be cleared out from some critters, but I think it has potential.

Speaker D: That's a really cool fungi.

Speaker B: Obviously you all have magic where you are of a different flavor. I just figured out how to use it differently.

Speaker A: I'm surprised your Walden doesn't have much more people that know at least know about it.

Speaker B: Doesn't get killed.

Speaker A: No.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: Like that's. They don't have control.

Speaker A: Interesting. And unfortunately, they don't show it off.

Speaker B: And we're only touched by it. We don't really get to practice that much. I just gotta look over it. He was like, I don't even know what he does. I just know it's not good to whoever he does it to.

Speaker C: When we use it, it usually costs us something.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: I can actually feel it eating at me.

Speaker A: And when we'll do that, if you.

Speaker C: Don'T know the words or have a.

Speaker B: Focus, we may have to talk about.

Speaker A: That because I don't think I'm going.

Speaker B: To be able to use it much more. I just am able to talk to some people on the other side.

Speaker D: What? You mean on this side?

Speaker B: I guess on this side. I don't know where this side is.

Speaker C: Which side?

Speaker B: I guess it is this side.

Speaker D: Although I'm not sure if we want to talk to a library administrator right now.

Speaker B: Definitely not the person I usually talk to. Probably don't want to mention his name in here. I don't know how this place works.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker A: But. No, honey, you get very interested in learning about your world.

Speaker B: Learn more about yours. I apologize for my outburst earlier. I just had a little bit of a hard time with death and things trying to kill me under dead.

Speaker A: Understandable.

Speaker B: I'm generally somebody who tries to avoid.

Speaker A: Death and help people avoid it. Well, that's usually me too.

Speaker B: Kind of jumped.

Speaker A: I snort. But this will be. Will be interesting to see if I can pass through or if I. Well, actually, I guess since I'm balanced with my skeleton now, it should be fine.

Speaker B: Does your skeleton have a focus? Like, are you bound to an item on your skeleton, or is it in your body?

Speaker A: No, she. She goes. I've bound my soul to the. To these bones. Okay. As far as I can tell, this place traps souls. So if you die, you don't pass on. You stay here.

Speaker B: That could be convenient, I guess, depending on what you did in life.

Speaker A: As long as you don't get put in a jar and turn into a phantom.

Speaker B: There's that too.

Speaker A: Yeah, because that erases you. That erases the you, and you just become a battery. Yeah.

Speaker B: Walk this ring.

Speaker D: Started walking through the secret passage.

Speaker C: Yeah. Head towards the secret passage.

Speaker A: Yep. So as you guys are going through this secret passage, it's a stairwell that's. That goes up and is windy and twisty. You come out. That's pretty fun. Another room with you come back. You come out in a familiar room with the. With a calculation engine in it that is constantly phasing in and out of existence. Oh, wow.

Speaker B: That's like.

Speaker A: That's pretty high up there. So on the map, you guys.

Speaker B: That was on the session. I was gone.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: So it's like you came back 13 through 16 somewhere. It's 27 one. That's where you. Oh, never mind.

Speaker B: I do have 27. That was probably the one after I.

Speaker D: Came back, but we stopped there.

Speaker A: So when you came back, you were here? Yeah, they had me on my neck.

Speaker B: It's the it passage. It's the conduit.

Speaker A: Yeah. So you guys come up in here, suddenly corporeal. There's just a single white librarian in here. Let's see if there's anything else going on. Yeah. So that you. Yeah, you get up in here. I scroll or. Oh, yeah. You find that there's the calculation engine that's phasing in and out of existence, and it's just books of epic poetry.

Speaker D: Anything epic, like an Edda or, I don't know, Inferno or anything like that about Orzium.

Speaker A: That's true.

Speaker B: Epic poems could have a lot of information.

Speaker A: And there is a calculation engine in here too. So if you guys want to do like a similar thing again, we can go through and do that as you guys, like, search through epic poems and ask the computer if this is like, real or not.

Speaker D: We'll start with the computer. Is there an epic poem about orazine?

Speaker A: Yeah. You. You get.

Speaker D: And is it in this room?

Speaker A: I say yeah. It just be like data confirmed if. Yes. Yeah. It says data confirmed.

Speaker C: That help look.

Speaker A: Yeah. So if you want to. If you want to. If you're okay. So you said you'll help and be.

Speaker C: On the lookout for librarians and.

Speaker A: Yep.

Speaker D: And I start wandering stacks. I know what's in here. Machine told me it's in here.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: I probably ask the silt if they want to help work as well.

Speaker A: Last move the silt. Oh, yeah. They would. They would float around. So. So there's just. You two guys are okay. So Doc and odd dangers be looking for information. Yeah. So we'll do one progress and then I'll roll an event. Okay. So. All right. So, Audrey, as you're wandering around, you.

Speaker B: Find a spiral staircase behind one of.

Speaker A: The shelves that just leads up. Okay.

Speaker D: I make note of that and continue.

Speaker A: Then y. As you are wandering through the steps and stuff, you find an ominous loft door.

Speaker C: Look like the Helldor?

Speaker A: No, it looks like the other. The other ones that you found. It kind of just has like an ominous feel to it. But the ones you've gone through before have all led you deeper.

Speaker C: Everyone know this door?

Speaker D: Unlock it for you or try.

Speaker A: Yeah, you go in and you just. No resistance or anything from the door as it open. And Ollie, like, sees that. It's like. That's handy.

Speaker D: You have no idea. Of course, maybe you do.

Speaker C: Didn't even know we have it. Well, maybe just deciding to use it one day.

Speaker D: Well, it's not like we have a lot of doors that we needed to get through before.

Speaker A: He's like, I've heard of skeleton keys that. But they usually need an actual lock to go into. This is.

Speaker D: Something that's come in really handy since we got here. I was relieved that it actually worked here. I wasn't sure if it would.

Speaker B: I didn't remember where he got it.

Speaker D: Was he remember the boom when we were leaving.

Speaker A: There?

Speaker C: Stairs that go down?

Speaker A: Yes, there's stairs that go down that.

Speaker C: Guy, we'll save that one.

Speaker D: No screams, no smoky dragon sounds.

Speaker A: No, it looks. It's just a deep spiral door that goes. You printed. That just goes down.

Speaker C: No, just in case, I guess.

Speaker A: All right, so that one, the third scrotting rush.

Speaker B: We've got 300.

Speaker A: Yes.

Speaker B: 71.

Speaker C: Done.

Speaker D: The book is deemed. And for that confirmation might be the actual information I'm looking for.

Speaker C: Do we still have to find those books or did we. Or is this like. We did find those books?

Speaker A: No, this is like you. So yeah, because it's all. It's abstract palette. Like think that you guys are going through there. You're like, you've located those books or you found other ones that are useful to actually like read through. It's kind of. It's just an abstraction of you guys going through finding books, reading them and doing all this research and cross referencing and all that. It's some of the. I guess the extraordinary. Some of the books that you have. Like some of those titled ones. If you want those, you have those. But the. The idea is once you get out of here, I'm either just gonna. You'll just. You'll have the information. So when you ask stuff, I'm just gonna tell you what you need to know kind of deal. Or I'll ask you where'd you find like, where's this at? Now since you know as you are wandering around, you've come upon a chest of drawers.

Speaker D: The stairs going down.

Speaker C: We don't know about mimics, so you want to check for mimics.

Speaker D: 1. One mouth for each drawer.

Speaker C: No open it meets your hand.

Speaker D: And your next invention. Way to bind your gun on it. To shoot it without a hand.

Speaker C: There we go.

Speaker A: Oh, let me find inside. Find like seven glass jars of like poison. So seven doses.

Speaker C: Put them carefully in my back again.

Speaker A: And they 2d6 damage. Okay, so that was number 14. Wandering around this decks. A book flies off the shelf.

Speaker B: Again.

Speaker A: And tries to slam into your head and misses and it rebounds and it's flapping around. As you can see that it's starting to die for you again.

Speaker D: To use my duster as part of my catch. Almost like a net.

Speaker B: So that I did.

Speaker A: All right. Give me the agility, Melee. This is a good night.

Speaker D: Double ones and then double sixes and double sixes.

Speaker C: Rightful nine on these.

Speaker A: Critical success. So do you want anything from the. Your success list there? Yeah, you'll definitely grab it. I don't think this thing is critical success.

Speaker D: Well, I'm not really looking to. To do damage to it. Grapple Target is restrained.

Speaker A: All right, so yeah, you would. You would. Yeah. So yeah, you definitely have it restrained in your duster.

Speaker D: Now can I like read the spine on it at all to know what sort of book it is this time.

Speaker A: Before I. Oh, it's.

Speaker D: Is it the one looking for me that I'm looking for? Or.

Speaker A: I would say this one. It's a no. Bright white and blind.

Speaker D: Ouch.

Speaker A: RS Boundary. It's. See, I say it's about shadow magic. There you go.

Speaker D: So on a scale of the other one, which makes you an enemy to anything, this is.

Speaker A: This would be. It'd be similar just in this. In, I guess this. The world setting or whatever, Light and shadow are opposed. The shadow wants to consume the light. Light wants to dispel the shadow. So. Got it.

Speaker D: So is it like fighting me as I've got it trapped in my.

Speaker A: Yes.

Speaker D: So if I open my duster and pull it out, can I set it back on the shelf and just kind of comment that way? Or is it another 2d6 of no.

Speaker A: Yeah, you'll have to. If you want to use your goal and when. Yeah, you'll have. If you want to actually not like destroy it or break it spine or whatever yet. You'll have to.

Speaker D: Now I need the double one.

Speaker A: So you take six. Corruption.

Speaker D: So that's going to trigger a mutation.

Speaker A: All right. Was it pulsation? Was it half value for what he's doing? It was 2d6 last. Okay, because this is fairly power. It's these. The information in here is what. Is what's making the book act.

Speaker B: You're the first one to go tilt.

Speaker A: All right, so give me a 2D 6. 5. Okay, so you don't get to get the good list. You get the unknown list. You get the wild list.

Speaker D: How much RP do I need to get a good list?

Speaker A: 10 plus. But this, the other list, it could also. Is way more varied. So it could be good and it could be. And if it. And if it's like breaking, like if it's tube mutation, you'll get the option to either accept it or we'll roll again. Or I'm just going to ask you to roll again.

Speaker D: Have my body kind of slides off and I'm skeletal on.

Speaker A: Hey, Ollie.

Speaker B: I'm halfway there, just over again fighting a book, and all of a sudden your skin just sleps off like, what the heck?

Speaker A: All right, give me another D6 roll.

Speaker C: I'm going to do two.

Speaker A: Two. All right, so this is the body function. So now we need D200, I think. Yeah, you have four. Roll this skull crusher too, and roll regular D10.

Speaker D: All right, so the skull crusher is 18.

Speaker A: Okay.

Speaker D: And 15. So that would be 20. 33.

Speaker A: Yeah, it's an 18 and.

Speaker D: And 15.

Speaker A: Yeah. Two hundred and twenty three.

Speaker D: Oh, out of 200. That was a skull and a D100. So that was.

Speaker A: Yeah, well, yeah, combined together.

Speaker D: Combined to get to 33.

Speaker A: 23, right.

Speaker D: 33.

Speaker A: 33. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Sorry, I wrote that. Don't know. Oh, no problem.

Speaker D: I just want to launch you onto a different part of it. I don't know if it's good or bad. Either way.

Speaker B: You fought for something. That's horrible.

Speaker D: Yeah, could be.

Speaker A: Let me look this up. This one may be. Huh. Well, let's save something. It looks like you got an hour, so. No bite. Dropped much? Okay. All right, let's see if we can crash Windows again. Command box is popping up.

Speaker D: That's a serious mutation.

Speaker A: Yeah, it is.

Speaker D: Never read any of the Dresden files. Yeah, well, there's this premise later, they kind of explain it. One of the other books. But those who can do magic, their electrons, like, spin the opposite direction, so they're just foul on anything technology. He's driving like an old VW bug because it's low enough tech, but he's.

Speaker A: So.

Speaker D: Needless to say, his apartment is like candles. He replaces a lot of light bulbs. He gave up on the water tank, so it's a lot of cold showers.

Speaker A: Oh, great. Cold showers. Brutal.

Speaker D: Just fries the element. So I use that example for a lot of our viewers. I just don't think I'm good with technology. It just keeps breaking. I think you're a wizard.

Speaker A: That was what I was with. What's.

Speaker B: His face.

Speaker A: Kept frying stuff. Wait, he kept playing.

Speaker D: A lot of new stuff too.

Speaker B: It was just like phones, printers, his towers power supply would go out multiple times. Like the guy was like.

Speaker D: Yeah, he was probably always interesting though.

Speaker B: Yeah, I'm guessing he just shuffled his feet all the time.

Speaker D: That's highly thought.

Speaker B: Every time you touch something. I have my whole tech career. I've never seen anybody kill hardware as much as him.

Speaker D: So we gotta figure out a way to ground. I don't know. Bracelet.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: Spurs. He says drag. Spurs on the ground.

Speaker D: Attacking the bottom of your shoes.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: USB sticks. Like, that's great. I mean, it just kills that.

Speaker A: I know.

Speaker B: You replaced USB sticks? Hard drive, power supplies, phone, multiple phones, at least two power supplies. I don't know.

Speaker D: We'Ve been pretty lucky.

Speaker A: Okay. No, we're not using that. That's good. It was disease carrier, mutinous carrier of an infectious disease. And then there's. And then there's different stuff on that that's carried in. That's not a good. An interesting mutation at all. So just give me another.

Speaker B: Roll 3d10 and then just keep one as the top die and make it a 50. 50.

Speaker A: So it's a.

Speaker B: If it's a 5, it's a 1. If it's a 6 above, it's a.

Speaker A: It's a 2.

Speaker D: This is 100.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: And you can choose if it's above or below it's 100 or 200.

Speaker A: No, it's from a book that I have that's called the metamorphico provision Provide it has like this a D1000 table.

Speaker D: So that one would be 90. We'll just call it a 94.

Speaker C: Roger.

Speaker B: And I just saying you just pick the digits on one roll. Whatever your first dice was, determine if it's one hundreds or two hundreds. And the other two dice determine where you landed those hundreds.

Speaker D: Okay. So 90 would be high. So that would be in the. The two.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: So it would have been two, 200.

Speaker D: So 206.

Speaker A: Right.

Speaker D: Because it was a four and two.

Speaker A: Then you don't have to do any math.

Speaker D: No matter how we do this, I got to do it.

Speaker B: Right. I guess in that scenario you'd actually need three barriers because you could roll.

Speaker A: A zero and have it be under 100.

Speaker D: If I had rolled a double zero, it would have been under 100.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: And then one to. To five would be first 100.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: For even chance you need to D9. You need something you can divide by three. But D12.

Speaker A: I got a D or a D6.

Speaker B: Do a D6. And then if it's one to two, it's zero. If it's three and four, it's.

Speaker D: It's a one.

Speaker B: Because I'm saying next.

Speaker A: Next roll.

Speaker B: Yeah, fine.

Speaker D: Next mutation.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: That way it's 0, 1 or 2.

Speaker A: All right. So would you roll up so 206.

Speaker B: How much might be in the fun house?

Speaker D: Well, with my dark inky arm.

Speaker B: Is this still dark?

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: It's funny.

Speaker D: Haven't had a chance to clean it.

Speaker A: Off.

Speaker B: Might have take a look at it when he was either just to see what was what.

Speaker D: That ink golem was just kind of pinging, shooting at it. And it's like. Well, silver blade. Let's see what it does.

Speaker B: That's what killed it.

Speaker A: Yeah, that's good.

Speaker D: But it kind of went instead of slicing across my hand went in. So the blade is. Now it's a silver blade, but it's good for stealth missions.

Speaker A: Black.

Speaker D: Yeah, that's like a black too. If you see one that fits Audrey better. You don't have to stick to whatever I rolled.

Speaker A: Yeah, that's what I'm. You got another two minute detailing.

Speaker D: Five.

Speaker A: All right. Everything past about 15ft, there's a blurry.

Speaker D: So now I'm nearsighted.

Speaker C: Glasses.

Speaker A: Myopia glasses to stay clear.

Speaker B: Better than diseased. Sa.

Speaker D: Jeff, I know you're out there somewhere. I need you to make something for me.

Speaker C: What?

Speaker A: Yeah. I don't know you. Would I just say. Yeah, you guys were out. Like, you wouldn't even know that he, I guess, went in the.

Speaker C: No, like we were just browsing. Different shelves.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: Meant to compete. I was just looking for.

Speaker D: If he'd been the other way around. Pull that book at the other end of the hall.

Speaker A: I didn't read something. That's right. We were. You found something in the chest of drawers that we were about to do after Audrey fought the book.

Speaker B: Because you got the poisons out of the chest.

Speaker A: And then there is the ominous door econ. Right?

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: That moves.

Speaker C: Four in the chest. And then I got. I got poisoned out of that chest.

Speaker A: Yes. Oh, that's right. Yeah. You got poison. That's right.

Speaker C: Seven doses.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: Just doesn't have the heart to destroy knowledge. Didn't choose to have that written in them.

Speaker A: Yep, that's true. All right. So that was. All right. So the fifth progress that's made, five black quarter librarians come in. Yeah. Once you guys see if they notice you. Copy.

Speaker D: Is this where I'd spend that? That extra die?

Speaker A: Sure. Yeah. You can run that with this bonus roll with the bonus die. Well, that's been worse.

Speaker B: You get to think of these.

Speaker D: I pair of twos. And then I roll the one.

Speaker A: Oh, gosh.

Speaker C: Your dice are swinging.

Speaker D: But I got two for defense. They still saw me. But I. I look like that little.

Speaker C: Guy read the books. Audrey didn't see him coming.

Speaker A: No. I got two. Okay.

Speaker D: That would have been a success. That would have been a 13. Now that I've screwed over.

Speaker A: Yeah. Yes. So the five libraries. So this just. Audrey was the only one. Yeah. Chelsea, they come into where Audrey is.

Speaker D: Are you here to help me find an epic?

Speaker A: You just hear like they're like kind of like raspy paper voice. This is.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: Give me a engagement. Oh, just two D6 plus mind, plus appropriate career.

Speaker B: Yeah, I just have Doc, alchemist and sort.

Speaker A: No, I Don't think.

Speaker C: No, don't blame us.

Speaker A: Why no, not for this.

Speaker B: Also 11.

Speaker A: All right, so I'll say you guys are. Are able to. You were close enough to see or hear the black librarians across. Audrey has noticed. So they will do priority rules now for combat. So all three of you guys can give me the priority role, which is mine plus initiative. 9.

Speaker C: 10.

Speaker A: All right, so 9 and above. You guys will act to a 4.

Speaker D: So it's the role mine plus initiative.

Speaker A: Yes. You want to spend the RP, bump it to 9 and go before the OR library. Yeah.

Speaker D: Audrey's got to be a serious focus. Just start opening up.

Speaker A: Right? Yeah. So what do you guys want to do?

Speaker D: I want to root them.

Speaker A: Like all of them or just like one of them? All of them.

Speaker D: All of a sudden, the floor just kind of grows around their feet.

Speaker A: All right, so to do all of them will be. I'll say that's not. Would be like a third magnet team spell, I think. So let me. That actually, that may not definitely be too hot. So that's probably going to be another 2d6 of corruption. Unless you want to just try and roll for it.

Speaker D: Can I roll for it and reduce my corruption?

Speaker A: Yeah. So if you roll for it.

Speaker D: Because the second. That's what a 17.

Speaker A: No, that's 17 is like near the normals near the top. Now for this as I'm looking up the magnitude, if you want to inspect multiple ones are probably a.

Speaker C: Hard.

Speaker D: Well, then I'm not trying to. To do anything major like drop a meteor on them or.

Speaker A: Right.

Speaker C: We'll put it.

Speaker A: Yeah. It be a 10 just like. Oh, that's the AP cost. Yeah. So there'll be a minus four on your roll for a nine plus.

Speaker B: Four.

Speaker A: Yeah. Demanding spell to hit all five of these guys that are magic users too.

Speaker D: See if I can do it.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker D: No, let's see. Two, four minus two. So six sorcery is two. So that. That would be eight.

Speaker A: Eight and then minus four would put it at four.

Speaker B: How many RP points you got? Got five RP points.

Speaker A: I could do it. All right.

Speaker B: Does this have to reach nine?

Speaker A: Yep.

Speaker D: Oh, let's do it. I'm not using RP points for anything at the moment.

Speaker A: All right. Yep. So roots grow up out of the floor and then you'll need. Then. Oh, actually, I guess you don't have. So sorry. You'd have to be at 8 minus. Okay, so you'll take. So at 9 plus you take D6L corruption. So you roll two D6. Or if you just want to do not spend your RP points. Then you roll on the more expensive cost label.

Speaker D: The lower cost at this point. Do I gotta take the higher.

Speaker A: No, the lower. The l there.

Speaker D: That's just a one.

Speaker A: There you go. All right. Yeah. So yeah. So all of them. So yeah, you guys. Roots grow up out of the ground trap all of them. So you guys all have a bonus dive in your attack roll.

Speaker C: Add another V6.

Speaker A: You roll the highest. You roll three of them and then keep the two highest.

Speaker C: I'll submit to one. All right.

Speaker A: 9 12. You hit your targets.

Speaker C: One takes three and then one takes four.

Speaker A: And then three and four.

Speaker B: Do I need to spend more to hit them?

Speaker A: Yes, you'll need another if they have two defense.

Speaker B: Or six damage.

Speaker A: Shooting a separate one or one that got.

Speaker B: I probably would just shot a separate one.

Speaker A: Okay, so one of them dies. All right. He was rooted.

Speaker B: Nice. On the bookshelf.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: Yeah. Okay, so each of them is. So they are. Each one of them tries to. Yeah. So I'll need you guys to give me minded defense roles. They try to pass old person on you.

Speaker C: 13 get off.

Speaker A: All right. You all shake it off and then the fourth guy shoots his magic missiles at you. You guys each take a point of normal damage.

Speaker D: On the three of us.

Speaker A: Yes. Get the slash. Yep, just a slash on the left side of the damage. Tr. All right, back to you guys.

Speaker B: Take a shot at another one.

Speaker A: Shoot two targets larger that 11 or better to hit. What's.

Speaker D: Do I have to focus to not keep.

Speaker A: No, that's.

Speaker D: It's just done.

Speaker A: Yeah, it's done. Okay.

Speaker C: Six damage.

Speaker B: Four damage to them.

Speaker A: Okay, so Jock kills the two guys in shot before.

Speaker D: So I would have to use the fire crossbow.

Speaker A: Yeah, I was gonna say. Yeah, you. You need to get close so you can see them or roll with the penalty die.

Speaker B: Did the vines damage at all?

Speaker D: Well, how far away are they? I mean, I'm good for 15ft.

Speaker A: Yeah, I'll say. Yeah, I guess you would have had to have been that close to see them all clear if I'm going to take you away anyway. So. Yeah, one roll of that. So no penalty.

Speaker D: 12.

Speaker A: Yep. Landed.

Speaker D: That's helmet is a six high. So five.

Speaker A: All right, you shoot the one dock shot or you shoot a new one. Shoot the other one, whichever one's closest. That's up to you. That's your no for me with.

Speaker D: With my sight. Whichever one's got the better vision.

Speaker A: This is. I'm telling you as a player, you're shooting the one that's wounded or the one that's not wounded?

Speaker D: Probably the one that's not wounded.

Speaker A: Okay.

Speaker D: I'm gonna say he was the one that was a step closer. Everybody was getting shot from the sides and behind.

Speaker A: Yep. A bolt of fire punches through his chest and he burns up nice.

Speaker B: Actually, get a Whoa for me.

Speaker A: It's going. This guy's gonna try and break out of his. They have. Well, no, he's trying to like, rip out. Rip the vines off his. Off his body and rip some of them, but it's not out. So you guys are back up. Oh, yeah.

Speaker C: He's a weird seven points of damage. Both guns.

Speaker A: Yeah. How do you want to do this?

Speaker B: Shoot him.

Speaker D: Both high and low.

Speaker B: I just love my shot. Like, he's done.

Speaker D: He's kind of waiting too. No use wasting ammo.

Speaker A: All righty.

Speaker D: Any interesting things to loot off these.

Speaker C: How do they die? Do they just disappear?

Speaker A: No, they crop. The bodies are still there. Except for the one that, like, burns, burst into flames. No, when you look through their body, there's nothing on. They're like a Super Gaunt, like 5 foot tall. He like, almost. They would almost be like, almost like anorexic. Like, if you looked at their body. Like, they're barely. Like, there's hardly anything to them. And there's nothing other than the gunshot wounds.

Speaker D: Are the cloaks even viable for a disguise?

Speaker A: Probably for odd. Like, since you're probably shorter, you. You could put one on. It would fit for you, but for Jock and Doc, take one crunch down. Yeah.

Speaker C: How they piss off the whole library, start seeing this. Different colored robes.

Speaker D: You have to walk kind of scrunched over.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker D: How do you find the one with the least amount of damage on it?

Speaker A: Right. Probably the one that Doc shot in the head with just a single hole through the hood. Plus all the Igor, but that's a different story.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker D: Pascal. Yeah. Can you clean this a little bit for me?

Speaker B: And are they humanoids?

Speaker A: Yeah, they. They look human. They don't. They're just like super, like, gaunt and like hairless.

Speaker B: But no items of note?

Speaker A: No.

Speaker B: All the quick, patchy guys and then we probably got here.

Speaker A: Yep. Yeah. So if you're. Actually, you wouldn't need me to do anything because I have to, you guys.

Speaker D: Unless it can get rid of the lingering damage.

Speaker A: The lasting damage. No, that's only sleeping. Yeah, me too. Yeah. My.

Speaker B: My stuff's everything that you do within like an hour of combat, once it.

Speaker A: Sets in, it's good. Yeah.

Speaker C: That time go away. Oh, well.

Speaker B: Well, it says Wait, what kind is. What kind of.

Speaker A: We just get just now normal damage, and then lasting damage is.

Speaker B: Okay, so I can do lasting damage up to an hour after combat. This is up to an hour.

Speaker A: This is.

Speaker B: The wording on this is weird because it's like up to an hour after combat, but it's like. Well, if you didn't do it after that hour, the type of damage doesn't change. It's still lasting. So why is it limited to an hour?

Speaker A: I. I don't know. I'm. I'm fine. If you want to create. Do some triage and like, bandage up some. Yeah. Clean up the wound, you know, whatever on. It's got lasting damage. I'm fine doing it after combo.

Speaker B: Yeah, I just double five it. So that's definitely a success because it's like tools and docks. That'd be a 14.

Speaker D: I got stitch at 17, actually.

Speaker A: 17. So that heals one, right?

Speaker B: It heals one.

Speaker A: Yeah. So for everyone. Yeah. So everyone has one retreat, lasting damage three plus.

Speaker B: And we got the six progress.

Speaker A: Yep. You'll have do your six progress.

Speaker D: Four away, guys.

Speaker A: Yeah. Then like a weird. That weird gust of wind that comes through occasionally, randomly, my room blasts you guys, but. Yes. So you guys got your progress in here?

Speaker C: I waiting to leave.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: Found the doorway. Stairs going up.

Speaker C: There you go.

Speaker A: Yes, that's right. Okay. Yeah. So you guys take the. That stairwell that Audrey found.

Speaker B: Not the one down, but the one up.

Speaker A: Yes.

Speaker C: I'm not going through the ominous door.

Speaker A: Yep. So you got. You start traveling and you guys walk on it, actually. Oh, now this place is weird too. So after about 10 minutes. No, I didn't. Not the selection box. Foundry There.

Speaker B: Drawing.

Speaker A: What? Stop. That's clicked on it. You guys recognize this room? That's the room you entered in with. And you see the door that leads out.

Speaker B: This goes from 27 to 0.

Speaker A: Yes.

Speaker B: This place is wild.

Speaker D: So this is the door on the side that Audrey didn't figure out that. Hey, wait a minute. I got a key that I might be able to open this door with early. When we went into the library, there was a door off to the side, but it was locked, so. Yeah, I wasn't thinking about it.

Speaker A: No, I don't. Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker C: How many more points do you mean.

Speaker D: We might have to go down again.

Speaker A: That's ridiculous. Yeah, I don't even know what that room was. No, no, no. Maps. Yeah.

Speaker D: Hey, maybe we can find some Shadowland maps.

Speaker C: Good luck.

Speaker D: Yeah, because I remember Audrey was looking for where the spire were Maps, the seal, but I don't remember if we look for any Shadowland maps.

Speaker B: I expect stuff that I got. I don't.

Speaker A: I don't know if I gave you guys progress since this is the first room, so I'd be fine marking a progress in here. So from here or this map. Yeah, you guys can go down to 1 1, or you can go to a new location of 1 2. Like 1 2,02.

Speaker D: Go to the.

Speaker C: We go to the new zone. Can we come back to this one?

Speaker A: Yeah, because, you know, I mean, as long as you. I mean, there is. There is the chance that you get lost and lose the way back. That's. But that's a pretty. I don't think that role is. That role has hardly come up signal.

Speaker D: If we went this way.

Speaker A: You can go. You can stay at depth zero if you want.

Speaker C: Let's try going. Staying at depth zero.

Speaker B: Less dangerous, we hope.

Speaker C: Actually coming out with our new friends. How are we going to keep him.

Speaker D: Audrey's wondering if he needs to tie a rope around his waist and then around one of you guys, make sure he doesn't wander up.

Speaker A: It's true.

Speaker C: We probably notice he's, like, bumping in the thing or walking slow.

Speaker D: I'm staying close.

Speaker C: Haven't figured it out yet.

Speaker A: I guess we should really make that zero.

Speaker C: Get out of here.

Speaker A: Back to back to wherever, back to civilization.

Speaker D: You get there, it's like, Audrey.

Speaker A: Okay. Yes, I can.

Speaker C: In like a thousand years. Everyone's dead. This place is, like, buried.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: So you guys can easily access the coin now.

Speaker A: Mountain fell over into dormant volcano. You guys walk into a new. A tea room. So I need 2v10s. Roll. This is what, food and drinks in here?

Speaker C: Something besides cakes and sandwiches.

Speaker D: One and seven.

Speaker A: One and seven. All right, we got. Oh, dang, that's a good one. Scones, jam and cream and cocktails. Oh.

Speaker B: We almost made it out.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: And then the room you walk into is covered, and this place is covered in, like, thick cobwebs stretching across the cord over the books. And it's like very.

Speaker C: Maybe he won't eat any stones.

Speaker A: The food is fresh. It is. Everything else is, like, cobwebbed over.

Speaker D: It's a Halloween party.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: Yeah. And like you, I think you've encountered these webs before, like, similar things, and some of them aren't. Like, there definitely is, like, a spiders that live in here, older spiders, and they're like. They're like regular webs. They like easily. And the books in here are essays about statistical analysis.

Speaker D: Shadowland'S population.

Speaker A: Yeah, look.

Speaker C: Anything for Shadowland. Taste the cockpit. Like, these things taste like fruit and be like, that's gross.

Speaker A: It's not a mash.

Speaker D: It's probably not interesting.

Speaker C: Sour pole or ham. Tell me how old cocktails are.

Speaker A: Probably sense alcohol and juice. I don't know.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: And then Audrey, as they're popular, wandering the stack, they do come across a book of prophecies and what, this. And as you like, flip through it mechanically and then whoever, you guys can also read it too. You can roll a die and you save that result to substitute later. Anytime you can roll one of your D6s. Two, three. All three of them. I can improve a one actually, you know, well, since this is meant for like other systems, so let's just say you guys have at least a six in your pocket. We'll do that.

Speaker B: We can see a result.

Speaker A: Yes, you have a six in your pocket that you can spend at any time. A single one. That'll be more interesting. Okay. Yeah. So you guys are eating some pizza. Scones and gentlemen cream.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: The cocktails are too sweet.

Speaker D: He says. Here, let me show you. Savory martinis.

Speaker C: Audrey might get in trouble. Depending on the cocktails. Might not know there's alcohol. We're so sweet.

Speaker B: Doc might warn them.

Speaker C: Oh, you don't know.

Speaker D: What was those called in high school? Wine coolers.

Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, the Zima and all this. I had a friend who went to babysit at someone's house, and they were like, help herself or whatever, and she drank like a whole six pack of Zimas while they were gone. They came back and she was drunk. The babysitter was drunk, but she was like, I had no idea to do her.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: All right. Yeah. So what do you guys want to do? Stay here and move on. You want to go lateral or down?

Speaker C: I'm fine.

Speaker A: Doc.

Speaker D: He's the force.

Speaker B: We're going down.

Speaker D: I3 munches on a scoring as we're walking down there.

Speaker A: All right. Yeah. So you guys come into a room, the storage vault, and stacks of paper and three ogre spiders.

Speaker B: Found spiders.

Speaker D: Point me at him.

Speaker A: So I'm bigger. The ogre spiders, they're like the size of a dog. So you can like fight them or try and scare them off or.

Speaker D: Firebolts shooting the paper and spiders.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker D: No, that's not gonna impact.

Speaker A: So what are you guys doing? Oh, no.

Speaker C: Trying to scare them away, I guess.

Speaker A: Are you.

Speaker B: Are you definitely Discount.

Speaker C: I have the shooting make a lot of noisy.

Speaker A: You can do that. Give me an Appeal Roll.

Speaker D: Guns are supposed to be about intimidation.

Speaker A: Yeah, I think you have that power too. Like the intimidating glare or whatever.

Speaker C: I don't.

Speaker A: You can add your range attack to that to your one eleven plus range. Okay.

Speaker C: Shoot bomb.

Speaker A: They all scatter and run for it. They run for the vents and climb up into vents and ceilings and disappear into the dark.

Speaker C: Well, human being.

Speaker A: And then. Yeah. And the books in here are address.

Speaker C: Book kind of land addresses.

Speaker D: Yeah, I was gonna say.

Speaker A: Yeah, I'd.

Speaker C: Be like addresses to the pillars.

Speaker A: I mean like because like a longitude. Like what's an ad? Like what's an address. Like realistically.

Speaker C: Stargate coordinates legendary building a GPS system.

Speaker A: So I would be fine.

Speaker D: That is the Shadowlands and the cosmos.

Speaker A: I would be fine. Is that could be marked as progress. It could be like longitude, latitude or like where the portal is that Doc needs to find. Like it's an like the address books. I. I'm fine with progress for that fractera.

Speaker C: Where is no coordinates.

Speaker A: So I. I would say yeah, there's like all kinds of like address books in here. They would probably find like stellar address books. Like regular ones. Like oh, Bob lives on Maple Lane, you know, whatever. In a house block, whatever. Or like addresses to.

Speaker D: Hey, Jacques, get a look at this. I found the muffin man.

Speaker A: So that would be real? Yeah, yeah.

Speaker D: Did you really live here?

Speaker A: So she was lucky. It's like. That's fascinating and highly creepy too. And she's like Charlie up. That was my. That's my home address at the Ironspire.

Speaker C: I would see it. There was an address for Jacques dad that we found. I asked the one lady and I got a territory.

Speaker A: That's true. Yeah.

Speaker C: I asked if my parents were alive because Jock doesn't know my dad was but the mom wasn't. And then I think it was just a territory number that we only know it's there.

Speaker A: Yes.

Speaker C: Other than steroids, monster controlled. I don't think it had a name.

Speaker A: No, it doesn't because it's territory 19.

Speaker C: Yeah, it doesn't.

Speaker A: Because we haven't. I'll add that to my prep list. Yeah. So I'd say. Yeah, you would find. I could say you could find Andres there.

Speaker D: That means you could probably find an address for your sister.

Speaker A: I would look.

Speaker B: I mean Doc would definitely look this ridiculous.

Speaker D: So once we get there, then we know where we're going. Once we get there, if.

Speaker B: If they have her as an address and it's not like prison cell four, you know.

Speaker A: But maybe it's.

Speaker B: Maybe it just knows.

Speaker A: Yeah, that's more.

Speaker C: He's just curious. Like.

Speaker D: Steel number done.

Speaker A: I would say that you would get. I would say as part of the progress that you would have found in here that yeah. You would find the location of your sister.

Speaker B: No way.

Speaker A: As marked as Camp 14. That. Yes. And there is a storage vault into.

Speaker C: Take a look.

Speaker A: There's a lot. Of course.

Speaker C: You're up.

Speaker D: Audrey, pull out the.

Speaker A: Key. So so far in the storage vault you found empty glass like globes and bottles, ladders and like the librarian robes. Several of each color. Like this is like probably like a closet, but later. Then take one of each color just because.

Speaker C: Souvenirs. See if they disappear when we go outside.

Speaker A: Then as you explore more in there, you find a hooded robe that's like in a display case.

Speaker D: Is there a display description on it?

Speaker A: Yes. It also describes that the. What's the wearer see in the dark?

Speaker B: Only 15ft. That's harder.

Speaker A: Nothing.

Speaker D: It's a supply closet. Or maybe a. What do they call it in Harry Potter? The room of necessity. It's like clean ladders, robes of each of the colors.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker D: Which Zaka's Jacques decided to take what? Two of each?

Speaker C: Just one of each.

Speaker D: One of each for a collection. And then there's globes. Empty globes, empty flasks.

Speaker A: And you found a rogue that's called Night Sight. But you can. It says it lets the wearer see in the dark.

Speaker D: Have you gotten any cool gifts out of this library?

Speaker B: What's that?

Speaker D: Have you gotten any cool gifts out of this library?

Speaker A: And then like sitting on the shelf is a. A scroll.

Speaker D: Yeah. I'll take a look at the scroll case.

Speaker C: Cast magic.

Speaker D: The cloak. I. I don't know if doc would be interested in that one.

Speaker A: Yeah, we'll store it.

Speaker D: Before we go. We probably should sell our horses and load them up.

Speaker B: For sure.

Speaker C: We need two more points.

Speaker A: And on the Miss Fell scroll. Oh, it's the words rift of ruin or written on it.

Speaker D: I would show that to all of you. See if she can enlighten me. Does it to use a scroll that have to be torn? Is it something that can be studied?

Speaker A: She goes. At least a lot of time. Yes. You can study and learn it or you can read it and expend it. And then it expends its power. You use it.

Speaker D: Which begs the next question.

Speaker C: What does a rift of rune do?

Speaker D: Is it a small slash? Does it like drop out the floor beneath us? We can stick Mountain Zone 2.

Speaker A: She goes. She goes just from. And then she like actually like takes the scroll out and like looks at it and reads it and you can tell that like it's written. You don't know the language. And then she explains that this is Dream Weave, which are the words of power for the animal. She explains that what that means. She's like. She's like reading through and it's like, well, I see why it was in this vault. But she goes, according to this.

Speaker B: You.

Speaker A: You'll tear a rift in space the size of a small town, creating a pit into another dimension. The creatures and structures take damage from falling into the pit or simply from the pits. Chaos.

Speaker C: You could use it. Yeah, that town.

Speaker D: Spires in there. We'll dump the whole thing in.

Speaker B: Yeah. So much for jiggle factory.

Speaker A: I forgot how ridiculous Dungeon world is that I have a. This is a random spell scroll. So I just use my list. But it's. It's actually. It's a ninth level warlock spell. So. Yeah, that explains why you can just like swallow a small town. And she goes, yeah. As long as you may concentrate on this while you're casting it, that rift stays there. Yeah. So that would. That would be in every win. That would probably be a four magnitude spell because that's like. Well, it's either a third or fourth magnitude spell in everyone where you wouldn't see. You don't see those happens. She's like, yeah, I keep that secure or leave it here. But that's very powerful point where we're.

Speaker D: About ready to leave. I sell on my horse and I load it with all the books and everything on it and then send it back. It's like, okay, I think we're Satan.

Speaker A: Hey, that's pretty handy.

Speaker B: Just can see.

Speaker D: Continue going room.

Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. So where do you guys. I guess everything's dealt with in here, I believe. Yep. Segways up and down.

Speaker D: At this point, Javier's going to let.

Speaker C: You focus wherever Doc wants to go.

Speaker A: Okay. Gonna be a.

Speaker B: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 split.

Speaker D: This is a scatter die. All right, we're going left.

Speaker B: We're going to 1 3.

Speaker A: Going live roll. Look at that.

Speaker B: Starting after my neck.

Speaker A: That was fun.

Speaker D: It is left on your mat.

Speaker A: Yep. So as you guys walk into it, you enter a boiler room. So there's no books in here. Against one wall, a huge black iron furnace over which a tank of water boil. Large pipes channel is steam out for the library. And then there's also a single lamp. Iron lamp post bolted to the floorboards with a lamp at the top that illuminates this. Illuminates the area There are. You do see like footprints that are notes and other signs of passage. Like somebody's been through here. Notebooks.

Speaker D: Do the notes seem important?

Speaker A: You see, you do find like one that said, beware of the Bander snatch, my friend. Just to give it. Just give it what it wants or. Or like any other. Or kill it like any other fairy.

Speaker D: Cold iron. No better than the Jabberwocky.

Speaker A: Alrighty.

Speaker C: Which way now, doctor? Go 03.

Speaker A: Let's go up. All right. That this makes more sense for me operating it like this.

Speaker D: How many rooms did the side.

Speaker A: We're going to go just in case. All right? Yep. So as you come into this area, it's lit by a number of gas lamps fixed to the walls, fed gas by delicate copper pipes that run along the spirit boards. And then like, kind of like in the center of this area is an ornate lectern raised on a slight platform. Open on it is a large book. Each corner of the book's cover is fastened to the lectern and the lectern is left. So like, like giant nails are like pounded into the corners of this book.

Speaker D: Is it fighting it?

Speaker A: The lectern itself is like also like nailed to the ground. And there is. And that book is like shaking.

Speaker D: Audrey wants to know what. What's written in the book. He would. He's kind of glad he doesn't have to touch this one. He's kind of scared he might have to.

Speaker A: Yeah. As you come up there, it's like a hyper dense dictionary and. And you see that it's that as you like kind of look at it. And then Ollie comes up and looks at it too because she's very curious about it. And then she kind of like, that's very interesting but also very dangerous. That's the. The language of the. Of the Hells of the Devils to read it. Not necessarily, but don't know if I would speak it out loud at this point.

Speaker D: I'll read. Turns like we found a lot of dangerous books. Where are the light books? We can't really go up any higher and we've gone down.

Speaker B: Would the Devil's book have knowledge about Shadowlands?

Speaker A: And as you're like. As you like glance on. It's like a literal dictionary. If you wanted to. If you wanted to take the book and read it, you could learn the hell speech.

Speaker C: I don't want to learn.

Speaker B: Zero interest.

Speaker A: That would not be part of his cornucopia. But yeah, as you guys are also like, you're investigating everything around here too. The books in this area are about geology. But the doc. You do come across a detailed set of notes left by a prior researcher. So you can add D4 to your progress.

Speaker B: Just so you know, I might be using a.

Speaker A: Wait.

Speaker D: Some RP points 2.

Speaker B: Which is exactly what I need.

Speaker C: And we can get out easy.

Speaker B: And what kind of knowledge you said was. Is geology.

Speaker A: The books are. The books are about geology. But these are notes somebody left behind. They're notes that someone left behind. Is very strange.

Speaker C: Feel it yourself.

Speaker D: Feeling t. Yeah, I just.

Speaker B: I'm kind of recording notes of where I got my information. So when we're RP later I can drop.

Speaker A: Nice.

Speaker D: And the next time we come in the library, all the rooms are reset.

Speaker A: Oh yeah. This map will be irrelevant. Yeah.

Speaker B: Me.

Speaker C: Yeah. Maybe that's.

Speaker A: The wild thing is I feel like it's just new every time.

Speaker D: I knew I should have been carving initials as we go.

Speaker A: No.

Speaker B: So is it possible for us to move over to 02?

Speaker A: No, because you don't actually. Because it's still. It's kind of like an abstract. You're just in a location.

Speaker C: We can go back, but you can go.

Speaker A: You can go backtrack.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker A: Because nothing's happened yet. So. Yes. If you guys want to go back to 1 3. All I do is. Yeah.

Speaker C: Yes.

Speaker A: Roll on the event table. Yeah. So yeah. As you pass back through the.

Speaker D: What's a Bander stash.

Speaker A: So you can go back into the boiler room. Yeah. You know, nothing happens. Yep. As you're passing through back through to one two. You guys spot.

Speaker B: All right.

Speaker A: No, you spot an ominous lock door.

Speaker D: Audrey has to check it out.

Speaker C: Yeah. One more time.

Speaker A: Yeah. You unlock it and it's there while it leads down.

Speaker D: Maybe next time.

Speaker A: All right. So up to zero. Is that the storage room 0212 of the vault?

Speaker C: 02 is the vault.

Speaker A: Wearing. Ollie is wearing her. A diff. Like a row. That covers her too.

Speaker C: Because if we come out where we're.

Speaker A: It's similar. Like.

Speaker C: And we're going to be in the middle of.

Speaker D: Well, the door out should put us back in the library.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: Sorry.

Speaker D: But getting out of the library.

Speaker C: Yes. That could be in the middle of.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: Yeah. So she looks dead right now.

Speaker A: She's. She's a skeleton that is like faintly. That is faintly wreathed in like, green fire. And then. And then her eyes are. And then there's like her, like soul or whatever is like kind of like swirling, pulsing in the center of her. Like it shows through her hooded robe. If she's fully up, there's like a Little bit of, like, glow on the bottom. You know, like the cool LEDs on cars. Like, there's kind of like that.

Speaker C: And then.

Speaker A: And then her, like, her eyes are, like, kind of glowed up.

Speaker D: Probably like a hospital gown.

Speaker A: Yeah. But she goes.

Speaker C: I get.

Speaker A: I can disguise myself if I need to. Okay. Yeah. I was gonna say she's like the. The brains. Ain't know those guys Ain't those maybe.

Speaker C: Put them on a saddlebag. In a saddlebag?

Speaker A: What on saddlebag?

Speaker C: The brains.

Speaker D: Brains.

Speaker C: Because they have the whole spinal cord with them, too. Or those nerves, I guess.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: All power riders just start getting itchy for some reason.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: Something's going on.

Speaker D: Library is a dangerous place.

Speaker A: Oh. And then as you guys move back into 00, you hear the bookshelf and grind and shift behind you. And that way you just came through is gone to the one two.

Speaker B: Oh, to zero to the entrance.

Speaker A: 02. No. You guys just walked into zeros.

Speaker B: It just went away.

Speaker C: That's our signal, dude.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: Hopefully not get out of this place.

Speaker A: Yeah. When you see Ollie, she starts speaking in a dream weave. And then her actual. Like, it actually looks like she has. Looks like a human.

Speaker C: That's good.

Speaker A: Looks like what she described herself as. But then like. Yeah, go ahead. I'd say.

Speaker C: I'd ask the brains before we leave. I'd actually ask the brains of, like, how are we gonna cover you guys where we're at?

Speaker D: Giving me the cloak.

Speaker C: Yeah. We need that mask. That Cash has the porcelain mask.

Speaker D: Good for wine.

Speaker A: You just kind of hear, like, that echo voice. It's like you're asking what to do.

Speaker C: We're going. We'll all be put to death step. Not with this.

Speaker D: Actually, I wouldn't mind. The director of a library. He might hang on to him just because.

Speaker A: That's true. I was gonna say you guys would know that you. It will be safe to exit into the library.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: Leaving the I. Library was bad.

Speaker D: Going out of the library. Yes.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: So Anton may have some solutions for you too, which you guys. But here. Yeah. I mean, they're. They don't. They want out of that. They convey that they want out of the library. Then we'll deal with.

Speaker C: See if they just flop down once they're out of the library. Die.

Speaker D: Ma Dense and not so dead.

Speaker B: Are we guaranteed if we go out here to go back where we came from?

Speaker A: Yes. Yeah. This is the door.

Speaker B: Maybe one of us should go back to make sure that there's nobody else.

Speaker A: In the room with Anton where that was. You would know that, like, Only librarians would be down there. Like, he conveyed that. Like, this is secret. It. Because he knows the church would.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker D: Oh, that's right. The door was actually not in his office.

Speaker C: It was all the way down the bottom.

Speaker A: In the bottom where blood had been spilled.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker C: Yeah. Really going. Elevated.

Speaker A: Yeah. And then he swiped, like, his car. The car get down there. Right? Yeah.

Speaker B: We definitely give them the warning, like, you can't just, like, leave. We're, like, in the worst place for you to actually leave the room. Let's get out of the library first. Yeah.

Speaker A: They're like, yes, yes.

Speaker D: Let's get out of the mountain first.

Speaker B: Yeah. As we're heading out the mountain, we do have a device that we may be able to teleport everyone to a safer place, because I have to go.

Speaker D: Up to Anton's office and get the.

Speaker A: Pyramid that we stood there. So. Yeah. So they. They're like, yes, just get out of here. Then we can do more things. Yeah. All right, you guys step out. Yeah.

Speaker C: Andre can't see very well.

Speaker D: He's still getting accustomed.

Speaker B: Have you said anything to us about it?

Speaker C: Not really. The only thing we might have noticed.

Speaker D: I might notice of a sudden, I'm getting closer to the books to read them.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker B: I'd be like, are you okay?

Speaker A: I don't know.

Speaker D: I think that m got. Went and got old like my paws. Paws.

Speaker A: All right. I'm going to go to the restroom. You guys can mark two xp. We'll consider that adventure completed.

Speaker D: Sandwich from the other room. It's like just sitting on the floor against the wall.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: Wait and see the song again.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: Be outside.

Speaker D: Get out of the mountain.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker D: I was just glad that the ink isn't coming off like a sandwich, which.

Speaker B: I don't really have a way to sell an Anton.

Speaker C: He's just head library. He's just here.

Speaker D: We haven't rolled the skull crusher to find out how long we were in.

Speaker B: There, but I'm saying we're down below. He's not, like, waiting there for us.

Speaker D: He might be.

Speaker C: Maybe there's a button.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: And if anything, I can port to his office. Exactly. We could port to the office up at the very top.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker D: Or one person couldn't say. Yeah. The rest of them are down below.

Speaker C: See if the book's enclosed. Came with it. No clue how this place works.

Speaker D: Audrey's gonna wait till there's more space for the horse.

Speaker C: Elevator.

Speaker A: So how'd you die?

Speaker D: I got telefragged by a horse coming out of a ring.

Speaker A: Okay. So let's see. Yeah. You guys step out and you.

Speaker C: Are.

Speaker A: Not greeted by Mo who is one of the librarians who's met in here before on about 5 8, 38 years old, Pacific Islander, light green eyes, long flowing auburn hair. And they greet you in there very familiar. Pirate boy. Oh, glad you made it back.

Speaker C: How was your voyage? Well, we made some new friends.

Speaker D: It left it smart.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Yeah. You can see like her eyes go like you go really wide. They let out like a string of expletives.

Speaker C: Still only.

Speaker A: Kind of like.

Speaker C: My brains would be so disturbing.

Speaker A: Yeah. She's like. Well both of them would be very disturbing in this world. Oh, stuffy. Especially the brains for sure. But Ollie since she's covered up wouldn't be as a big deal yet.

Speaker C: But you take Ollie shopping, gather some western time.

Speaker D: Oh grab the materials for some focuses too.

Speaker A: Yeah. But mostly actually let's see.

Speaker D: How long have we been gone?

Speaker C: Yeah. What day is it? A week or month?

Speaker A: Year. She goes that's. That's been three days.

Speaker C: Oh man.

Speaker A: So that's seven. The 17th 100 was sure it would.

Speaker D: Have been a month.

Speaker A: I don't remember. I don't exactly remember. What if it would re inter. Roll something bigger or not.

Speaker D: Oh, the skull crusher. We were talking about rolling but I don't remember the math that was going to be involved.

Speaker C: Yeah I think at first it was just whatever comes up but then.

Speaker B: Yeah I thought also was depending on where we exited.

Speaker A: Yeah. That's why I think we'll just do. We may just keep it real time. So plus a rolling eight. So yeah. So yeah. So it's the 17th. Oh yeah. That's one exit roll would be 100 for the birthday but we're not change that. So that's too much. That'd be a lot. It's just going to be. Could be a lot. It could be.

Speaker D: Well it happened just in one day.

Speaker C: One day for us.

Speaker A: There we go.

Speaker C: 100 days.

Speaker A: I mean do we want to do like we can do that maybe next. Because it is like the n wind. Yeah. Oh yeah.

Speaker C: Only problem is like since Doc's sister.

Speaker A: Like if you roll high it's like. Well it happened. We're not doing the D100. No, what I'm saying is like we can just make it so you like basically exit the same time you come in like you enter, you knock out.

Speaker D: That would be. That'd be a trip.

Speaker C: I'm fine. Whatever.

Speaker A: Like that's I guess up to you guys.

Speaker C: I don't mind if it's just a D8 plus.

Speaker A: Plus the time. The days you actually slept in there. That's not insane. No. So. Well, yeah, we'll just. We'll keep it with that sometime. Or do we want to just keep it the days that you were in there?

Speaker C: I'm fine.

Speaker B: I think it wouldn't be one to.

Speaker C: One and some goodness.

Speaker A: So we'll do that.

Speaker B: That's kind of what we do.

Speaker A: Going in.

Speaker C: Nothing above a D10. I'll find you.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: It's time. Faster on the other side or slower. I figured whatever happened and then when we came out, time was completely fickle. As long as we don't run through a black hole.

Speaker A: All right. So Library. So you guys all made your progress. Yes. Okay. So yeah. Yeah. So you get greeted by Mo. He tells you it's the 17th. It's like late evening. We'll say like 9, 9, 10 o'clock. Yeah.

Speaker C: You sleep once in there.

Speaker A: Yes. And then you spent like. So you guys spent like a whole day like traveling and then you like slept and then he spent like the full day going through there. So we'll just say it's. Yeah, it's very. It's very late on the 17th.

Speaker C: Yeah. The library have anywhere we could be working.

Speaker A: With us but still. Oh, you got pirate voice.

Speaker C: Yeah. That's all I know how to do.

Speaker A: It here below decks we have a bivouac. The iron matees. We can. We can put you up here. I can go fetch some fetchy. Fetch me some beggar and I be letting the Anton know that you may take me back. Anton know if you can bring my Thai item techniques. Yeah, I hope and I'll bring. I'd be bringing some food too if you be wishing.

Speaker C: Sounds good, doesn't it?

Speaker D: Be wishing.

Speaker A: Yar.

Speaker C: All the alcohol they had in there was fruity. It wasn't very good.

Speaker A: Ah. She spits on the grass. You be eating some rum.

Speaker C: Whatever you got today isn't sweet.

Speaker A: I'd be fetching me rum.

Speaker D: Sour Meadow.

Speaker A: Oh, here you go. You're just. I. I'd be back in. In less than an hour. You be needing anything immediate?

Speaker C: I don't think so.

Speaker B: Sit down just a long time.

Speaker A: I be back. She strides over to the. She. Well first she like locks locks and bars the door and then takes off down the. Through some of the winding stacks. Footsteps disappear into the stone. Yeah. So anything meantime, while you wait.

Speaker D: I could see Silt starting to read the books.

Speaker C: I'd be reading some of my books.

Speaker A: That's it. I. That's what Ollie. Ollie like starts wandering around the library and looking through books and stuff that.

Speaker C: Guys be tired and I might even.

Speaker D: Joiner There might be other stuff down here about Orzine.

Speaker B: This was the restricted section, was it?

Speaker D: I don't know the Deep Archive.

Speaker A: It's like the Deep Archives. It's not. It's not mainstream books. Yeah. It's definitely like. It would probably be stuff that would be hidden from the Church but not nesting anything necessarily. That would be.

Speaker C: Once you've been in the library, you have access as you know.

Speaker A: Wouldn't necessarily be like flame. Like the Church wouldn't be happy about it. So there's like.

Speaker D: Not quite restricted but not really me straight.

Speaker A: It's. Yeah. I say it's not. General public's not locked down here like. And you would. General public doesn't even know this stuff exist. Then.

Speaker D: Picking a bag a moment to.

Speaker A: Yeah. And then Ollie like if you were following Ollie around, she would be asking like tons of questions about the place and like I guess like technology like being like in wonder that like. So like especially when she start like saw some of your like guns.

Speaker C: She knew about.

Speaker A: She'd start ask. She knew like about the general principle when you like when you started like. Like shooting and not reloading and. And like especially at the right like all that. She would start definitely be asking more Audrey about all that.

Speaker C: Yeah. Go with her if she was asking question about that.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: With the engineering Audrey be like basic school level.

Speaker A: But it's just general stuff to someone that's from like a medieval time like and is used to like high magic and stuff. So like people like blasting off like elder blasts like magic attacks isn't a big deal. But like bulky shotguns. That's mind blowing.

Speaker D: Yeah. Well that combined with the history. This is why we are. We're not really using magic. And the om one is fairly new things got sealed cracks.

Speaker B: Our introduction to magic was rather violent.

Speaker C: Changed our world.

Speaker A: Yeah. So that's all like kind of going on. And so she's like learning and you can tell that she like loves learning stuff. And it's just like soaking it up and then. Yeah. So then after about an hour, Mo home comes back, comes back with. And Anton is with her. And then also Cutie Pie, who is another librarian, late 30s, Native American, average body, like dark brown eyes. He ball. He has like a Canadian accent. But he's carrying like the blankets and bedding stuff. And then Bo's got a tanker in like a two. Like actually I guess Bo's got a.

Speaker D: Keg on their back.

Speaker A: Yeah. I was about to say she's got a rum barrel like strapped on her back with to.

Speaker C: Ones you see at sporting events over the keg and hose.

Speaker A: And they're just Oktoberfest like six she's got a keg and you can hear like the. The mugs clinking on off her hip. And then she's got two picnic baskets of food. And then add Anton. I'm very excited to see that you guys made it back. And he talks way too loud and he's like very like he's like 6 year old African, 5 8ish skin baboon. Like he's very thin but he's got. He has the dark eyes. His whole eyes are just like black. And he has like a sweet pixie cut Haitian accent and this. And he talks too loud that. He's like oh, I'm glad. So glad you guys are back. How was it? Did you. Did you learn what you needed to learn very much. And then some a little bit extra and he's like. He got. Huh.

Speaker D: Yeah. Does it ever come off?

Speaker A: No. At least I have not seen anything magic could probably like if you. That could probably remove it but natural means. Nope. That leaves its mark.

Speaker D: Yeah. I thought the dagger was pretty cool, but my arm I. Black silver, something new.

Speaker A: And then. Yeah then the bow kind of moves. I made these. Here's here you be some food and drink. And then Mo and his. Or not Mo but QDPI or Arthur. I guess he probably actually called Arthur. Yeah.

Speaker C: Only friends come.

Speaker A: Yeah, he brings his. He brings his. He brings like them the vetting for you guys. Bed rolls and blankets. Toxins. Yeah. And like in this area there would be like. I don't like reading areas or whatever. So I mean there would. You could like move tables and like pop your horses out too if you know that space would be in here. Not like I need to right now, but yeah. So then Anton is just talking to you guys as much as you want to like and just asking about your experience in there.

Speaker D: And unless Warren Audrey would be like so happy to share and answer any questions.

Speaker C: Like he figured.

Speaker B: Is it my first home device?

Speaker A: Yeah, you. You would have. You would have brought that down and like gave it to you. But as he like shakes your hand and yeah, thanks you guys would share.

Speaker D: This numbers machine just kept fading in and out and we talked to skeletons and there are these ghosty things and. And a stinker. Yeah, we ran.

Speaker C: That sound painful. And he really was.

Speaker D: This weird bird thing with a face.

Speaker C: Bird thing with an arm. I Wanted to collect stuff.

Speaker D: That'S a Bander snatch. But he's not snatching anymore.

Speaker A: No, that's good. Says too loud.

Speaker C: For the librarian.

Speaker D: And the doctor ran off and. How long does it take for librarians to forget stuff?

Speaker C: Yeah, librarians are not happy with it.

Speaker D: Well, the black ones aren't.

Speaker A: Yeah, he kind of like chuckles the Alta. He's like that. I don't know. They're not a fan of me either. It's been a while since I've been in there, so it's been a few decades. I don't know if I go in there, if they hold me regard, they throw the heavy thing at me that it is. That's strange. Ollie's still with us.

Speaker C: Or if she's not looking at both.

Speaker A: No, she would have, like. I'd say, like, she would've started looking at you and asking her, and then she would have been like, in there. And then ultimately would talk to Anton, too, and Mo and Arthur.

Speaker C: I'd ask Antoine if he's ever been to Frank Terra.

Speaker A: He shakes his head. He's like, no. Never even heard of it.

Speaker B: Well, now you have. She's from prison.

Speaker A: Wow. Really? Yeah, he would. He would start talking to all thousand questions.

Speaker B: Yeah, I'd ask him too, like, do you play? Do you play music, Anton? Or any of the librarians that pull out the class violence and be like, I think this is going to be better here than on the trail with me.

Speaker A: Yeah, I'd say, Arthur. I'd be like, yeah, I love playing instruments.

Speaker B: Just don't tell anybody where you got it.

Speaker A: Here you go.

Speaker D: Before you go, play a tune, I'm kind of curious if we're all passed.

Speaker C: Out in the stat, drinking ramen, eating, sitting on my bed, cleaning my guns, probably.

Speaker A: Yeah. He would ask, like, do you want something fast, slower, in between.

Speaker D: Something welcoming and followed with a lullaby? Probably faster.

Speaker A: But you got it. And it'd be like. As he starts playing it, you can tell he has skill. But then there's also something like extra about the violin. Had a feeling that it has like an extra, like, ethereal sound to it. It's like the best, I guess, fiddle music. Fiddle slash violin sound you ever heard. You can tell it. He's sizzled, like, this thing is amazing.

Speaker D: He kind of stops and looks at it.

Speaker B: I just tell him that. I'm sure people think that they see it, so just be aware. So I don't know, it's probably worth something, but considering all that you guys are doing for us, it's probably at Least we can do.

Speaker A: So let's take it. He's like, I would gladly put it in our instrument mode. That makes sense because it's gonna get destroyed on the trail.

Speaker B: Surprise. It's actually in one piece right now.

Speaker D: Ethereal bow springs. They don't snap.

Speaker A: I didn't always.

Speaker C: There.

Speaker B: Yeah. I didn't have to dive a whole lot, which I did.

Speaker A: Okay. He's like, man, thank you. I very much appreciate this. Yeah.

Speaker C: Those people with the glass and cases that when they take it off.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: Have the side panel.

Speaker A: Yeah. And then he starts asking, and then I don't. I don't. This, I guess, kind of like, up to you. How long you want to, like, do this? Or like, Anton would probably actually like, maybe after like, an hour. He just, like, looked at all you guys and be like, let's continue this in the morning. Yeah. I want it to be rude.

Speaker C: Like, I'm going to bed. Ask people, because I'd be curious, too, like, what they've seen, because we don't know ever since now we've been in there. But it also be. However long he's around, just pass out once they left.

Speaker A: No, he. He would, like, he'd, like, wait till you, like, like food and drink is done. And like, when that, like, happens, like, then he's like, all right, let's. Let's go. Librarians, we can.

Speaker D: Do they still need to sleep?

Speaker A: You don't know.

Speaker D: Well.

Speaker A: Oh, did they communicate? No, they.

Speaker D: Because if they don't sleep, I can see them being this amazing source of information, and they will probably talk all night long with the librarians.

Speaker A: Oh, the librarians are also tired, too, so they're like, we need. We're going to go to. Wait. Continue this. Like, in the morning. He's like, I'll come and time, like, oh, Mo come get you in the.

Speaker C: Morning and bring you up to my.

Speaker A: Office and if that's suitable. Or we can talk down here differently.

Speaker D: Maybe a bandage. I don't know. My eyes aren't so good since I left the library.

Speaker C: Yeah, he's been running in the thing.

Speaker A: Well, I should go see the eye doctor.

Speaker B: I can take a look at you.

Speaker A: Get some glasses made. Figure out what's going.

Speaker C: Need some sleep.

Speaker D: Get some mystic goggles for something.

Speaker A: El.

Speaker C: Make something special.

Speaker B: There's real big cot.

Speaker C: Auto adjust all the time.

Speaker B: Every time he's walking around, it's always.

Speaker C: Just, please zoom in and out.

Speaker D: Replace my eyeballs with Elderite marbles.

Speaker A: Yeah. So the. The. The three librarians, after like, an hour, as you guys Eat, drink, leave you guys alone. You do see that like the. I guess they also would have been like talking to the brains and who would have been like like talking back to but also just like dumping images of like the stuff they've like seen in the library or anything too because.

Speaker D: They telepathic been absorbing it for who knows how long.

Speaker A: Yeah but they're also then they also like convey that like that they're friends for their existence.

Speaker B: The brain.

Speaker A: Yeah then always like is similar.

Speaker D: You're either going to want to live in the library or escape the mountain with this. Either way always happy to have a good instructor.

Speaker A: Yep.

Speaker D: As soon as I get that stupid See if I get the focus meeting but more questions about that later.

Speaker A: Yeah she would be like books are great but I would prefer to the.

Speaker C: Experience don't get you suited for this world. Clothes, guns, knives, whatever casting fire whatever you shoot out in the middle of the street when it go never in his shock.

Speaker D: Yeah just cast something that looks like a gun with perpetual purple bullets.

Speaker C: Oh.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: We're in a crazy city.

Speaker A: Yes.

Speaker D: Sleeping the stats tonight there certain. No look, Wes comes back finds out he's still in the library.

Speaker B: Where did everybody go?

Speaker A: No that's gonna be like an uber shock for Cash. He talks to carousel and then he just pops up to wherever the heck you guys are at car.

Speaker C: Let's put some back in the library.

Speaker A: I guess it depends on what Cash does.

Speaker D: I think I need to go back to the library. I was trying to find something. I just don't remember what. It was.

Speaker C: Just like trying to find.

Speaker A: Someone in the library sooner later he'd run into somebody.

Speaker C: Jock ain't so sure he wants to go back in the after seeing the.

Speaker A: Ghost and the brains of the jar.

Speaker D: Country might but it'd be have to.

Speaker C: Have a really strong purpose to go back in there.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker A: That'S what it's for.

Speaker D: And part of like all right, I found all this. These dark books.

Speaker A: Where's the light books? Anybody just looking for like. Yeah they would be in there. It was just that some of the encounters are furious books which they should add happy books, friendly books but land on your head. But the place is like a dark library. That's what stygian actually means dark. So I guess the library they would have a preference for the darker things. As many different chapels that we went into. I figured this is gonna get cold. This is gonna be released. I don't know which deity is going to be over the zone.

Speaker D: It's kinda like. Well so you're not over your world anymore. This is the last passion of whatever power you've got. Please don't smite visitors.

Speaker A: That's true. That's actually a good idea for those places. In like the next one, they're basically forgotten. God, no, like follow it. Just been an archive.

Speaker D: Yeah. You come thinking that they're going to get a chance back.

Speaker A: Yeah, no, that's a really good idea.

Speaker C: Max character is just a cleric. And that's what he's calling it.

Speaker A: He goes in there finding all the gonna purge him all send them to their end.

Speaker C: Who's the paladin?

Speaker D: I'm interviewing deities. I'm trying to figure out which one.

Speaker A: I need to serve you still worthy of existing.

Speaker D: The ability to absorb other divinities.

Speaker C: Oh God. With those coins and elder, right May Jock could make something.

Speaker D: Audrey was interested in the coins, but he wasn't.

Speaker C: That's true.

Speaker D: Sure about it?

Speaker C: I'll have to ask. Fans want to be home in the morning.

Speaker A: I forgot. Yeah. So it is morning. No, you're underground. You're an underground part of this service mountain.

Speaker C: We have to wait for a librarian. Or can we get an elevator?

Speaker A: That no, you guys wouldn't have. So I like mid morning.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: Or I guess you guys could have agreed on it. How you know, hey, wake us up when the sun's up. Or like let us sleep and come get us late morning or whatever. But whenever you guys want to. Mo shows up.

Speaker C: We didn't know what time of the day for a long time. Yeah.

Speaker D: At some point make it here.

Speaker B: Strategize this a little bit of. To get all these people out of here properly, like always.

Speaker C: Fine.

Speaker A: It's just the brains, right?

Speaker B: So like, do we want to like. Like I can stay with the brains.

Speaker C: We'll see what Antoine thinks too.

Speaker B: Yeah, well, I was thinking from a strategy.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: We could have you guys take the box out to a location. Even if it's going all the way back to that crazy cave. And. And then teleport everybody over. So at least we're away from towns.

Speaker A: And I'm saying as you guys are Ollie and the brains would be like. Or the brains would be like. We'd be willing to try the horse thing that you were talking about.

Speaker D: Well, I could see the brains are in a new library.

Speaker A: All sorts of different.

Speaker D: And if the library closes at night, it's like we just hang out in the library.

Speaker A: And that also too is like the brain. And Ollie would say, like, as you guys are talking about the teleporter plan that they're both like. She's like I can. I'll stay here too and operate the thing. You guys have something that you need to do.

Speaker B: We just want to get everybody where.

Speaker C: It'S going to be a while and get a place set up for them to actually stay because we have to.

Speaker A: Clear the other place.

Speaker B: Well she could help.

Speaker C: Yeah. And then we beat your sister first. But that's the most pressing supplies.

Speaker D: And focus.

Speaker A: But I can't.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker D: Any of the Anwing stuff. And glasses.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: We'll get you a couple pairs just in case.

Speaker D: Better.

Speaker C: So Jock can have a workshop and make Right.

Speaker B: I'll be wearing glasses that you made.

Speaker D: Various styles. I want hex lens. No, you get round lenses.

Speaker A: So yeah.

Speaker C: Just wait for the librarians whenever.

Speaker A: Yeah. So I guess what we'll do is we'll end suggestion here since it is almost nine. And then talk about I guess what we want to do next sessions. It will be two weeks from now.

Speaker C: I have that one shot too. Or Dragon Bane that I wanted to run at some point. Oh yeah.

Speaker A: That's right. You can get those guys to do.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: Yeah. So it could be. I guess. Oh that.

Speaker C: Unless we want to keep just doing this.

Speaker A: I don't think. No. We can work a one shot in there. That's.

Speaker C: I mean I just want everyone. So you can see how Dragon Vein feels with four people.

Speaker A: But. Oh yeah. Let's do for next time for. So I guess plans for Fel Riders next time we play. What do you like? What do you guys talk to Antone. I think what are your. I guess the next. Your next steps based on knowledge I have.

Speaker D: I want to find out how to get my system.

Speaker C: Yeah. I think that's the biggest. That's one of the most time sensitive.

Speaker A: Okay.

Speaker C: Prep for it. Yeah. Prep for it.

Speaker D: Decide it's going to go for like one bluff.

Speaker C: Yeah. Do some shopping and prep.

Speaker A: Yeah. So I guess Dot you would know that you need to get to Abandoned Gate in the Twilight Wilds. Abandoned Gate? That's the name of the town actually you've learned that it's actually a fort that the Butcher. That's his command center where he's leading the Twilight Wild's armies against the Storm Guard in the church.

Speaker D: Relapping list.

Speaker A: No. So I. I'll show you on the map because you would. You would have learned all of this stuff.

Speaker C: I don't think bend over would and win the military.

Speaker A: Activate bubble. So you guys are down here by the church. Yeah. And where you need to get. Let me leave this. You guys need to cross the front line, which this is all like front lines heavy. Think like no man's land, Civil war, World War I type trench or nastiness all along there. Oh, and it shifts. Oh, and then this is where you're trying to. Oh, it's. Sorry it didn't show up.

Speaker D: Oh, it's right at the very top.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: What we can see.

Speaker A: Yeah, There you go. So this is where you're trying to get.

Speaker B: Well, I don't like my sister that much.

Speaker A: That's where you're trying to get. You know there's a portal in that spot.

Speaker D: Is this a river?

Speaker A: Yes, that is a river.

Speaker D: Which way does the water flow?

Speaker C: Oh, there's a mountain down there.

Speaker A: From here it. From the way this looks, it flows this way because it does get narrower out here. So it would flow towards advantage. So however. So it might flow away from the mountain we're on. Yeah, that's actually true. It would be flowing this way. But you could, you could. You could always paddle up it or whatever.

Speaker D: Well, depending on width and depth, you.

Speaker A: Could be like the Mississippi because you.

Speaker D: Can travel it both ways.

Speaker A: Yeah, it would be pretty wide. Pretty wide here. Yeah. Let me activate this one. So it's easy. Let's give you a little better. And terrain wise. So that river would be pretty freaking wide. Good point. That's a good measure. No.

Speaker C: 5 miles. 4.36 miles.

Speaker A: River's that wide point.

Speaker C: That little marker with.

Speaker A: Yep, that would be. So that's like a massive like four mile wide river. Yeah.

Speaker D: Sort of critters are swimming in that.

Speaker A: Yeah. So that. Yeah. So you could. That. That's.

Speaker C: Yeah, that's boat adventure.

Speaker A: Yeah, you could do that. Actually. This would be pretty.

Speaker D: The easiest way to slip up with supplies.

Speaker B: I have some geological. But that's. Oh.

Speaker A: So here's like kind of like more of like the whole plan picture. You guys are like down here. So I mean you could get around the front lines too. Or even take railroads. Then you'd have to cross mountains.

Speaker C: That might be better than trying to go through like the middle.

Speaker D: Well, the front's always shifting.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: Who knows what the river looks like, where the war is.

Speaker A: But generally. Yeah, this, the whole hashed area is generally like the. Which I think is like several miles of fighting.

Speaker C: I'd be down probably taking boat, figure that out.

Speaker D: So we could do a train all.

Speaker A: The way to here.

Speaker D: They probably do regular supply runs here.

Speaker C: So yeah. Need to figure that out.

Speaker A: But okay. So yeah.

Speaker D: But other than that.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: Either come around over on this side.

Speaker A: And Then I guess. Is there. So I guess you get to the sister that's in there. So that's a shop prep. Anything else really? Or is that what I should just focus prep on? That's it. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker D: Stumble across coins or anything else.

Speaker B: I'm just understanding realistically, like if it's.

Speaker A: A big fort, like, it's. You would have learned that actually. I guess. Yeah. You would actually have a general.

Speaker D: Little C4.

Speaker A: We're good. C4. Yeah.

Speaker B: It would have to be a shock and awe campaign or a stealth campaign.

Speaker A: Oh, it's montage Mitro. It's something new, I'd say. Yeah. Through your notes you would have learned. This is where you're trying to get. This is the portal place.

Speaker D: Is it in the middle of the town?

Speaker A: Yes.

Speaker C: Oh, that's exciting.

Speaker A: I would probably say. I'll say though that it's roughly a town of like 5K. And it's. You know, I'll read a little bit of it. I can type.

Speaker B: I do have a travel guide for slavers and sociology books.

Speaker D: So there could be some things really posed as slavers.

Speaker A: Yeah. So dress like one. Stuff. Yeah. There's. So it's roughly 5000 inhabitants. 75 human, 25 shadow orc. Which you would have also show us too. But you guys also would have discovered what they kind of look like. Yeah.

Speaker D: There was a shadow work body that.

Speaker A: Yes.

Speaker D: Got raided.

Speaker C: Oh.

Speaker A: So that's kind of like what they look like.

Speaker C: That'd be fun.

Speaker A: They're nasty. They're not. They actually have a full body. They're not like ethereal like that picture shows. But that's kind of like a general idea. Humanoid like chimpanzee with like saber fangs. Yeah. So I will. I might actually. Let's see. I might send a lot of this, but the. The band gate that does that wall that's around it is actually. It's 30ft high. It's. And it throbs a little bit like a second vein. It's not made out of mere stone or timber, but a fused bone. Rusted iron in it. Stretch the st. It's got three gates in it. I'll probably just send you a lot of this info because you would have discovered a lot of this through your research.

Speaker C: I'll be okay.

Speaker A: But yeah.

Speaker C: You sure you take. Ollie won't experience the world?

Speaker A: No. Ollie, like, you just got to ours.

Speaker D: We're gonna take you to another.

Speaker C: Ollie can come back.

Speaker A: So like when she. She's.

Speaker C: Or does she always just have to do her disguise magic?

Speaker A: It's an illusion so like when you get up close and she's like even like you know like look it's a Glenn like hollow. Hollow. Yeah.

Speaker D: Second unless we find the right dragon.

Speaker B: Or.

Speaker D: Where the gathering part she needs.

Speaker A: Okay so yeah so plan to do a little shopping and get sister and then so then I guess we'll do end of session questions. So Debbie learned something new and important about the world. Can you overcome a notable monster or enemy?

Speaker D: Stared down some ogre spiders.

Speaker A: Are they notable though? No, I don't think I don't think we had any.

Speaker D: I don't think they were notable.

Speaker A: Yeah. Did we loot them little treasure? Yeah. Yeah. Oh did we solve a problem without violence? Yes. Spitters. Let's see low light highlights. Yeah.

Speaker D: So how many more sessions we'd have in there that magic got shot back to the first floor.

Speaker A: I know that rolled up. I was like no Joe. Right. Well you got like two of them. Like you got one that connected to an existing one and then the one that all the way to the top and it's like like dang.

Speaker C: There we go.

Speaker A: Yeah that was sweet. Any new long term goals?

Speaker D: Pretty much the same.

Speaker C: Okay except now get Ollie in the brain on our crew at some point.

Speaker A: Let'S just put a job I'm always down to like go with you guys.

Speaker D: And do whatever it's the focus and.

Speaker C: The training mostly have her as a kingdom resource for that's after the sister probably just start building can actually use my inventor.

Speaker D: Get rid of a few.

Speaker A: Spires I can do that bring about.

Speaker D: The end of the world and then your invention's really going to come into gang bangers.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: I will look at the downtime project stuff too. So you guys for like if you want to craft like your focus a.

Speaker C: Lot of it we just don't take downtime.

Speaker A: Yeah well downtime can be like a few days or a week just depending on like the project and say how long it would take to do it difficult it would be but yeah and.

Speaker D: I don't know size the focus. It can be a ring dependent or.

Speaker A: Is it like a fetish Polly like very likes because it's if you taught it she's like it's basically whatever you want it to make it. It just needs to a pair of glasses if you want she's like it just needs to be it's something that you cite like sight vendor filter the animal through so you're not just accessing.

Speaker C: The rain the Tony Stark glasses.

Speaker A: Falling.

Speaker C: Like satellite syndrome.

Speaker D: And when bombardment.

Speaker A: And then yeah the the silts too. They're like a silts and all.

Speaker C: They might just have to stay in the library.

Speaker A: They'll help. But always like, I like if we're going. Like, if he is. She's like, I'll help get Doc's sister. You guys help me get up. So help rescue someone. Like, now that you're like back here, like, she's. She's like this. Like. Feels like it's better than not like. Feels more like full strength. Cool, man.

Speaker D: And that money maybe has to get everybody who got the jars. Rebuild his body.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: Kill the Shadow Ape. Get some nourishment from that one.

Speaker A: Mega opelis center of the western continent. Basically going over.

Speaker D: Definitely wants to focus. He might end up with who knows what sort of mutations the rad is going.

Speaker C: You know.

Speaker A: Steve, I will probably send you some stuff too, about orzine and the location of the obelisk. Okay.

Speaker D: Oh, that was right over there somewhere.

Speaker A: Look at it. And then for Jock and Wet, basically, you guys, you know, like, be able to like, pick where your elder right at on the whatever. A lot of stuff I make is.

Speaker C: Just gonna be like whatever I can think of.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: Are you looking for, like, weapons?

Speaker C: Like, some of it. Yeah.

Speaker D: Are you looking. Let's see, offensive, defensive or support.

Speaker C: Kind of everything that he's just gonna invent.

Speaker A: But also. Yeah, that's like a good thing too, is like you guys can all brainstorm for, like, stuff to build.

Speaker C: I have some ideas for stuff, but it's still like, whatever like comes up is like, oh, that'd be cool to make for like orange group needs this. It's like a Jacksonville build.

Speaker A: I'll make a. Let's make a thread in Sabicola on discord for that and just start forge. Yeah. Throwing stuff in there. But.

Speaker C: Mine or somewhere it's gonna be. It's gonna be somewhere secluded.

Speaker A: All the right.

Speaker C: Makes noise when you start forging it.

Speaker A: Well, that's just part of the lore. And you know the velvet prospectors are hunting for. Yeah.

Speaker D: Every time you hammer the screams pretty much.

Speaker C: It's kind of wolfcraftian in a way. It kind of talks because it like that's corrupted metal. Basically.

Speaker D: Whisper sweet nothings. Hit me harder.

Speaker C: And then I get flashes too. When you hit it. Yeah. The colors. Sounds like if you're doing it in a town. Like, people start hearing strange noises or screams and then light.

Speaker A: Just.

Speaker D: That dagger that Audrey pulled out.

Speaker A: That's very good.

Speaker D: He have any idea what it does.

Speaker A: Since you haven't described, like using it? Trying to use It. Or anything.

Speaker D: I mean, he's got it. It's like. It's tingly.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: So next. That's while shopping. At some point, he's probably going to see if it's good for throwing. If it does something else.

Speaker C: Pel. Riders have like magic stuff.

Speaker A: You could. I don't know. J. I'm trying to think if shared that. But you'd also know that they don't. They don't like overtly. Yeah.

Speaker C: They don't like walk by and they're.

Speaker A: Like, oh, you smell like tr. No, it's not like that. It's. They're more there for like obvious. Like it's kind of like.

Speaker D: Somebody used a bit on when in the mountain.

Speaker A: Yeah. Like if you're actively using. I would say if you're like actively, like drawing it in, they could probably sense that.

Speaker D: So the creation of a focus, does that have to be outside the mountain?

Speaker A: No. She see what.

Speaker D: Or shield it in some way?

Speaker A: No, because I guess with your instructions. And what Ollie would help too would be you're essentially inscribing words of power into whatever you're making.

Speaker D: And you don't have to pull an end one to.

Speaker A: Right. Okay. Doing the runes. It's the. I guess the words or runes that actually you produce the energy or whatever.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker D: I was gonna say if you got a second little trickle solder or embossing.

Speaker A: It would be more like. If you were using and when like within visual. It's not like anywhere in the planet or whatever. It's more like if. If they. If they're like looking at you and you're. Right. Like drawing it in or doing. You know, they could see. They could see like the line or something.

Speaker C: The four stores. Like, someone's doing something.

Speaker D: There's a drummer.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: No, it's. And they'd have to actively be, like, looking for it. Not worth.

Speaker C: Cool. When someone opens the portal to another plane.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: That was just our vampire that, like, open.

Speaker D: Hey, we're back. We get our coins back.

Speaker A: Yeah. No, you actually don't get new ones until you start a new adventure.

Speaker D: Okay.

Speaker A: Not yet you don't. Yeah. You don't get points. They don't reset till you start a new adventure.

Speaker D: Shopping for me might be a new adventure.

Speaker A: What is that?

Speaker C: We'll go glasses first.

Speaker D: At least a monocle.

Speaker C: One eye and see. Well.

Speaker D: This one's for long range. This one's up close.

Speaker B: Spins around.

Speaker A: Can see anything now that we.
