Speaker A: That's why I thought Prometheus was actually really good. Yeah.
Speaker B: I have to watch it again because it's probably been 10 years since I've seen it at this point.
Speaker A: But yeah, it has like. There's some definitely alien, like hard to watch stuff in it, but it's like. It's a horror. Yeah, definitely body horror. I'm not a big horror fan, but Fastbender nailed it though. I was kind of excited about the show. Foundation of a similar bit of like long arc stories that are really about. It's about robots. Yeah. It's about the androids over history and how they like progressed. Because all of ASMOV stories went from robots escaping a factory and discovering the world to thousand year old androids that know all this history. And it's really interesting. But they started off pretty strong, but then it kind of fell off. They really kind of departed from the. I haven't read all the books, but it departed from what I remember. The first season was pretty simple actually.
Speaker B: Blade Runner's a hot.
Speaker A: That too. Yeah.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker A: I actually liked 2049.
Speaker B: Oh, I did too.
Speaker A: Yeah. The same feel.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: I read a thing the other day that said Rutger Howard improvised his. His lines via.
Speaker C: Really?
Speaker A: He had stuff to say. Yeah. But he kind of improvised some stuff and the whole cheers in the ring thing was just improvised. When it was done, like they cut the scene, everybody was like, that's. That's way better than what we wrote.
Speaker B: Let's go with that one.
Speaker A: Such a good scene. It is. It's an interesting setting. Yeah. Is Bong coming to it?
Speaker C: No message listed. Yeah, he said on Monday or something.
Speaker D: About life through a curveball.
Speaker C: So don't expect me to be here.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker D: That's all he said listed. That's the Steve.
Speaker A: Yep.
Speaker D: He said he may or may not be in here.
Speaker C: No, he said don't count on it. Yeah, I don't care. But yeah, could be his work. Yeah. Yeah. He just said curveball. Don't expect me to be here. If that changes, I'll let you know.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker C: Roger. Good luck.
Speaker D: Yep.
Speaker A: And like this card, my discord's got so quiet since I stopped doing work. So quiet.
Speaker B: I'll do it.
Speaker A: I get a hundred messages a day easy. And now it's like, yeah, this stuff's still flowing, but it's not like directed at me. So nice and good promise on the work front. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So hopefully this next week I'll move on, but quality of life, not crazy hours. I literally don't want Me to. I don't want to do that. Sounds like a perfect yes. Actually. Do what's I. I can do technical work and I'll still do technical work when I want, but small do that. All other DSS have defined it. They already have a lot of technical. We just need people that can, like, guide them into strategy here. Help them get in the weeds if something's really, really hard. Everything that they mentioned. Yep. That's actual like CIO work. And they have some other cool stuff coming up. So one company's kind of stood out. Okay. Yeah. Thanks. I've enjoyed being off.
Speaker B: I was gonna say it's gonna cut.
Speaker A: In your hair every time. I know. I've played like a fair number of games and hung out with Katrina.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: I've mostly stopped thinking about code.
Speaker C: Again. We'll do say last time. So let's see. Yeah. Oh, I guess review. I guess have a cool campaign plans and I'll repeat this I guess next time when Steve's here is right now. I plan plan to do doc sister story. Then Audrey's or zine story and then Cash and jock Elderite stuff. Slash maybe carousel mission stuff. And then once those I guess four things and then whatever else gets accomplished during the time then check in with everyone and see if we're ready to go do something new or start new arcs in 7 below. So however long that takes. That's the current money. Because I have too many systems.
Speaker B: I want to play relatable because we all do, I think.
Speaker C: And then also I'm trying, like, I guess have more focus sessions and less. That's one thing I've really enjoyed with these one thoughts that we've been doing is guess how focused they are. How or action more focus. I guess so I'll say. Yeah. Last time in Sepicola Cashmere Carousel ate some infinity fruit. Got mass declined in the top of one of the trees to fetch more of them. And then yeah, anything Cash give Carousel is the porcelain mask.
Speaker A: Weird thing.
Speaker C: Weird I guess making faces with it. And then he back with the party he had ate breakfast with Anton and Mo and the librarians. Cash became the acolyte for a carousel. He has a pendant to prove it.
Speaker B: Got my holy text too. I'm ready next time.
Speaker A: I didn't see that.
Speaker C: That's awesome. Oh, no. See? Yeah. Everybody had like a lick of the vanity fruit.
Speaker A: Oh, yeah.
Speaker C: Oh, Cash, you still have two and a half pieces of fruit. Carousel's got a job for Cash which that will show up soon. Yeah. Then Ollie says all in with the bell. I forgot she's with you guys too. And then Audrey told the pack to be up at the lake. See that? And then he has prepped for the mission. Audrey built his analog focuses doctrine as HP potions and gun oil for Jacques.
Speaker A: That's right. I don't remember what they do extra damage.
Speaker C: I think the oil. Yeah. He gave me a bunch of poison.
Speaker A: Alchemist healing potion that deals heals 1d3 light blood damage, not deals. That would be another crap I think I gave you guys.
Speaker C: I think that. Yeah, that would have been last session. See, I'm probably. I probably made it here. I feel like it increased the scale or like the encounter.
Speaker A: Combat encounter.
Speaker D: I think so.
Speaker A: Yes, you're right. That's correct.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: The buffalo gun.
Speaker A: That is what you're like we could one shot.
Speaker C: That's right. Yeah. I forgot you bought the buffalo rifle.
Speaker D: Sex of dangers.
Speaker C: Let's see. Yeah.
Speaker A: And then did all that stuff.
Speaker C: And you guys started traveling by train from the Fortress of Light. Went through a few towns or cities, I guess. And then you arrived in wrath banks.
Speaker A: Where Doc spent one of his credit.
Speaker C: Ratings to buy a on barge. And let's see. And then you guys went across. Spent the day traveling across the lake where Audrey introduced cash to Lau and.
Speaker A: The whole pack plus five new ones.
Speaker C: So it's actually Jacques is talking to the pack and there's the. In case we get into combat. Oh boy. There's all their. They all have the same stats, but all their names are in there with their damage and their beans and stuff. So you guys. The new ones are Hokey, Iota2 Baz and Choo Choo.
Speaker A: I will not remember that.
Speaker C: No, I don't expect you guys to. I don't remember. That's why they're written down. Because I. I'll remember Lapu and maybe like Tahoma.
Speaker A: So with which wrapping up the story.
Speaker C: Oh, I was gonna say that's. That's basically it. You guys all met them. So you guys are heading in early morning. Yeah, I'm gonna say early morning on the other far side of the lake. Introduced to Lapu. And then that's where we ended session. So it is. It's downpour. Of course, because it's that time of year.
Speaker A: A weird question is since.
Speaker B: Steve's.
Speaker A: Since he's gone. If he's carousel, are his animals. Okay.
Speaker C: No, I was gonna say that's. That's essentially what's happened is Audrey's never existed and Jacques is.
Speaker D: I have her hand against control.
Speaker A: Okay, gotcha.
Speaker C: It's destiny could be advantageous.
Speaker A: Go weird with your weird animals.
Speaker C: Yeah. So you guys have. Yeah. So you have 10 horror towns and you have barge which I guess Cash was driving.
Speaker A: Yeah. Got those skills.
Speaker C: Travel time with your barge. I looked them up and they apparently human power slash cell cell ones moved about five miles per hour. You guys can travel five miles an hour basically. Or 120 miles in a day. If you have walk like keep watching.
Speaker A: You get like a couple of animals. So like push and kick.
Speaker C: I was gonna say if you wanted to could have two of them. I'll say that. Which can boost the 10 miles amount. But you would be able to travel actually. I guess you could actually travel 247 because. Well, you guys have discussed going up this river. Up the river to get to here where the portal is.
Speaker A: Maybe pretending to be slavers.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker C: With these creatures they would get. They. They said they would get you to the portal, but they would. Or get you to the the place or the like slash the portal. Depending like how you guys approach it. They won't be going through. The other side of the portal is a massive city.
Speaker D: Yep. Hanging down the river.
Speaker C: Two talons being acting like motors for 10 miles an hour.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: So you guys can cover like 240 miles a day. But. Well, let's say two of them will be out of like. Out of like combat or like resting. That river is like super wide too. So that is almost make it. You would actually make it there in about a day. In 24 hours. Roughly.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: Okay. And so what we'll do is.
Speaker A: Not to mention battles.
Speaker C: Yeah. So let's. We'll do four rolls. So I guess three hour chunks to see if you guys encounter anything. And then for that depending. So I guess what's going on is there's. There'll be two talons resting on the boat, two paddling and then three on each side of the bank. Roughly.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker C: So. So depending on what happens, you guys may actually be controlling the 3.3talons on the side of the bank. And then we got stats for that. So who wants to do the role? The travel. Actually we'll do. We're doing. I said four. Maybe we'll just do three and you guys each do one. Yeah. There are stats. I silly clicking the wrong button three times in a row. There we go. Since nobody is actually. Well actually. So if we want. If you want to scout ahead then you could use Alan stats to do the scout role. Because those are the only people that scout.
Speaker D: I don't think I would going Down.
Speaker C: Or you're just navigating. Yeah. Or you're just gonna navigate, and then that's whatever staff will make the most sense. Probably mind your agility to not, like, crash the boat while it's your turn on the tiller.
Speaker A: Although you have a mental connection to these guys, right?
Speaker C: Yes.
Speaker A: So, I mean, they could scout on your behalf, right? Yeah, if they're better fast.
Speaker C: What is scouting? It's just. Well, that one would probably be mind or agility. Oh, those will be the traveling stats. Yeah. Plus applicable. Oh, so I have mine plus applicable. Co reader, which the talents don't have any. I'm fine with them being centered hunters. Teaching fine or to.
Speaker A: All right, let's go first.
Speaker D: Yeah, you can.
Speaker A: Hello. Yeah. See, you said mind.
Speaker C: Mind or agility plus applicable. Curator doc.
Speaker A: Alchemist for sorcerer. I think I'm really up to those.
Speaker C: For navigating. No.
Speaker A: Unless I was, you know, jet propelling the boat with Alpine.
Speaker B: There you go.
Speaker A: Oh, not 11. So 14.
Speaker C: Nice. All right, so 11 plus you avoid dangers and distractions and make good time. All right, so you guys have made it through, like, one of the most of the hard part. Another frontline battle. All right, did you guys want to wait till night or were you just gonna just look it just go. I mean, the river's like. It's actually freaking massive for being that massive.
Speaker A: I don't know.
Speaker C: No, there would probably actually be other potentially like, other traffic and stuff. Yeah, it's like. It's like seven miles wide.
Speaker D: Yeah, we definitely want to turn that.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: Of see. Yeah. So, yeah, if you were like, in the center, you probably. No one would probably notice you. Was like, they were going down an edge because it would be pretty dense jungle. Tropical rainforest stuff. All right, who wants to go next?
Speaker A: Is through cash.
Speaker C: All right, so seven. So mark XP or mark RP. So, yeah, seven is a fail. So let's. Someone roll me in D6 and divide by two.
Speaker A: Two.
Speaker C: Okay.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: Then roll. Roll it again and then divide by three.
Speaker A: It's too good.
Speaker C: Yeah, not bad. All right. Yeah. So you guys, while you guys are going down the boat, actually give me a stay sharp roll. Which this one could be mind or agility. Same, I guess. Same process. We'll see if you spot what's.
Speaker A: Just a five.
Speaker C: Ouch.
Speaker A: The answer is no.
Speaker C: Yeah. Okay.
Speaker A: I stole all the. All the probability.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker A: From last week because I rolled a bunch of good last.
Speaker C: So, yeah, you guys are going up.
Speaker D: The.
Speaker C: River and.
Speaker D: You hear.
Speaker C: I guess you get buffeted almost by, like, ears start raining like Definitely kind of a ring. And then it stops. And then you see diving down at you for fire bats, which. They're large bats, big enough to carry like a person.
Speaker A: You guys.
Speaker C: Jack. Actually, you guys could give me mine rolls to see. Plus I had like a career possibly. Just see if you guys have seen these before. You definitely. For sure.
Speaker B: Yeah. I have this.
Speaker D: 11.
Speaker C: Nice.
Speaker A: Would a doc career be appropriate?
Speaker C: Yeah, I'll say. Possibly for the wounds they cause. Yeah. So there. So you would know these are large bats there. They have a shadow orc rider on them.
Speaker A: Great.
Speaker C: And they. And you know, you've treated the wounds from the fire bats themselves. And it's always burned. So they can shoot like a stream of like napalm, like a hundred people.
Speaker B: We don't want that on there, by the way.
Speaker C: So we'll go into. I'll do priority rolls, but you guys will have penalty die. You just mirror on top of all r. Yeah. So give me. And there's. There's four of them. And they're dive bombing you. Essentially getting ready to like strafe your boat. See? Engagement role. So your mind plus initiative. The penalty die. So you take your lowest. Yeah, both lowest. Yeah.
Speaker A: I got 10.
Speaker C: Okay, that's good.
Speaker A: Thirteen.
Speaker C: Okay. So. So yeah, so Cash and Jacques and then the bats.
Speaker A: I'm saying, they're going.
Speaker B: I remember those.
Speaker A: Talking to you guys about the wounds while you're getting your guns out.
Speaker C: So, yeah, you guys are up first talking Cash. What do you want or not, Doc. But jockey.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker C: Shooting. Yeah. Is agility plus range. That's it. No, just stay.
Speaker A: Are you shooting?
Speaker C: How close are they? They're gonna be within a hundred feet. Start coming down to mine.
Speaker D: Screen off this burn your boat.
Speaker C: Probably whatever gun you want to use to shoot at them. Yep, that's it.
Speaker D: That's 11 damage.
Speaker A: To the bat.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker C: They said he shoot one out of the air.
Speaker A: Writer false.
Speaker D: Yeah, maybe.
Speaker C: Here, you hear. You see this? The bat crack just kind of like veers off. And you see here the orc guy, like screaming.
Speaker D: Shoot the other bat and.
Speaker C: Then catch.
Speaker A: To go out.
Speaker B: My real.
Speaker A: Never mind. I think we all do have a special die together. We have a special die that could be used to make a dicey automatic.
Speaker D: Six, I think.
Speaker C: Oh, yeah, yeah. I forgot about that. Yeah. You guys do have one used to die.
Speaker D: That's right.
Speaker C: Plus you have hero points too.
Speaker A: I'm good.
Speaker D: Set.
Speaker C: You guys should have all five hero points or all your maximum. I think all. You have four. I think I have four right now.
Speaker B: Should I have Them already?
Speaker C: Yeah, I think so. Unless you use one to not take a flaw.
Speaker B: No.
Speaker A: We have any more?
Speaker C: Yeah, we should have here. If not. I have.
Speaker A: Thank you. Oh, I can't throw.
Speaker D: No, I'm good.
Speaker C: And those you. You will have until. That's the most. Unless you spend RP points to buy more of them. But that's what you have until. Yeah, yeah. So if you. So, yeah, See, shoot and miss. And then. So there. Each of them are going. Each writer picks one of you. Your first guy. Well, plant your defenses.
Speaker D: Two, one, one defense.
Speaker C: Do your two defense and then Cash, one. All right. Yeah. So that guy hit. I need an agility roll for God. I'll just do that.
Speaker D: And on the dice.
Speaker C: All right, so you do not catch on fire, but you do take five normal damage.
Speaker A: You have armor reduction over here. That the D6 win is full armor.
Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker D: That's five damage.
Speaker C: Yep.
Speaker D: Just the dash.
Speaker C: It's normal. So it's the regular, like, slash. It's not a text slash on the left, I guess. All right. The other bat. So let's ten pit. So, captain, need an agility roll from you. Five that fell. So you're on fire now, which you're on fire and take 5 damage. Normal damage. So on your next turn, we'll take a point of damage. And let's see if you put the fire drop jump in water. Let's see. That's five. All right. And then the second guy misses and hits your boat. There is some fire on the boat. All right, doc, you're.
Speaker A: I see you light on fire.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: And I immediately, like, use my hat and, like, scoop water. Douse you, and then try to go after the boat fire.
Speaker C: All right, so you spend your turn putting fires out.
Speaker A: Yeah, if I saw a human on fire, I'd probably do that before shooting.
Speaker C: Give me an agility rule.
Speaker A: Can I add my doc to this?
Speaker C: No, that would really help. So you use bad range would be fine too, since you're throwing water. Yep. You successfully load and cash out. All right, back to the top of the order comment.
Speaker A: I was like, well, that sucks.
Speaker C: Oh, yeah. So Cash and Jack here, Jock, you guys are up.
Speaker D: Aim at another bat.
Speaker A: Hey, I see a thieves. I'm putting out fires in the boat. Yeah, that's usually my role on the team.
Speaker B: Oh, really?
Speaker A: Back running around fixing the boat.
Speaker C: 11 or better to hit the bat.
Speaker D: Yeah, B11.
Speaker C: Okay. That hits.
Speaker D: Seven damage. Oh, I'm just a single target.
Speaker C: Yep. Shoots down another one. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, go ahead. Yeah.
Speaker A: Cash trash you one more time.
Speaker B: But I don't. This is gonna be tough to hit, I think. Oh that's a good roll. I do hit nice.112 total.
Speaker C: Yep.
Speaker A: That hits for three damage.
Speaker C: Right wounds him.
Speaker A: You shooting a pistol?
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: They actually are going to get their whole turn. I can give you one of mine.
Speaker A: I just have regular pistols but I have a repeating heavy rifle that has two six, eight. But I don't have the heavy.
Speaker C: They break off and are leaving. So doc if you want to make a hard shot.
Speaker A: He goes don't judge me.
Speaker C: So you guys. Yeah, I think. Yeah, I think it's a 14 month age. Might only be at 12 agility range. Yeah.
Speaker A: Nope, that is 7.
Speaker C: Yep. Reporting shot and they are gone. So yeah. So one post combat healing. So half of the damage goes away.
Speaker A: Up or down?
Speaker C: It's up.
Speaker A: Yeah. You're getting all your fatigue damage in after normal damage. The physician or doctor can make a moderate well to kill one point of lasting light blood. Mighty success with meal. Two vegetarian.
Speaker B: Yeah, I think we both got two last.
Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah. So you're half getting into that. Yeah. You have two left. Yes. Nine.
Speaker A: Is that all I have to get?
Speaker C: Yeah. And moderate. Yeah, that's nine.
Speaker A: I have 10.
Speaker C: Nice.
Speaker A: Get one more background.
Speaker B: Thank you dog.
Speaker C: Yeah, one more.
Speaker D: What was it?
Speaker C: Mind or agility plus career. You have one that applies. That'd be 11.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker C: Six and two.
Speaker D: Yep.
Speaker C: This close to you on three agility you don't encounter any hostile stuff. So how close do you want to get to? Yeah. So where is that portal? Yeah, I'll pull up the actual. No, I don't want to move both of those things. But you can.
Speaker B: It's down hostile like attack on site.
Speaker A: Hostel or we had a discussion about being slavers for some reason.
Speaker B: That's right.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker B: We're gonna use that as our cover to healing.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: Activate this. So we'll say you guys are left over here to come up to the. Yeah.
Speaker A: That was me.
Speaker C: I went out before sec or before everyone arrived and swept the thing off and it like made me freaking like. Yeah, it's like super blue scratchy and it's like come on. So put you. You guys are over here. Come up to this dock. Unless you don't want to actually go all the way to the city.
Speaker B: No, I think that's fine.
Speaker A: We'll try our cover. Right. So looking to buy the dog's just gonna stay hidden.
Speaker C: They're they basically when you got close, like pretty close. Probably a mile or two out, they just are gone. They went to the city. And they're like, if you start fighting, call us.
Speaker A: They want to fight.
Speaker C: Yeah, Yeah, I guess that. That's. I guess. Yeah, that's like these. They're all about like the hunt.
Speaker B: The war.
Speaker C: Yeah, the hunt. And they're engineered like war machines. And they're like. Yeah, they're like killer. Well, like intelligence. Oh, yeah. Yeah. They have to like kill her. Well, intelligent.
Speaker A: That's pretty smart actually. People watch them do their like tail flick. Like either waxed up or throw it.
Speaker B: Yeah. Bat in a room.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: Or like create a wave and knock a seal off an iceberg.
Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker C: So this. So, yeah, you guys are coming. So you would be entering the chain gate is where like, you're likely coming, but the portal is here. And you would know that, like, there would probably be other boats here offloading, like people and like slaves and stuff. Like people getting shuffled in through the gate, getting sent on their way to get transported to Shadowlands.
Speaker A: And when you say no, where the portals at? Is that a specific building or.
Speaker C: Yeah, sorry that I was pointing at.
Speaker A: It, but I'll try to remember how we.
Speaker C: I forgot how we got this for the library.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker C: Yeah. We learned about in one of my discovery books.
Speaker A: Accessible.
Speaker C: It is.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: I can. Anyway.
Speaker B: Just want to.
Speaker A: Right.
Speaker C: Yeah. So the wall around this place is like made up of like bones and almost like living tissue wall with flesh and iron.
Speaker A: There's a part of me that's grossed out by that. The part of me really wants to go up and check it out.
Speaker C: And then as you're. You're coming up to like the chain gate, like. Yeah, you like. You parked your boat and like.
Speaker A: I guess.
Speaker C: It'S fairly like busy here. I mean, there are. You see, like garden stuff. It's mostly like people, I guess. Mostly barges with offloading, like captured soldiers and other people. And then there's some barges like loading up supplies to get loaded up. And so, yeah, I'll say someone would come up to you and ask, what's your business?
Speaker A: I might have spoke first.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: It ain't cash. He's only got one appeal.
Speaker C: So.
Speaker A: Looking for supplies for trade?
Speaker C: Yeah. This guy, sapphire eyes and like wild pair, average demon height. He is a human. He was. You buying or selling? Looks like you ain't selling. Your boat's empty.
Speaker A: Like to take care of that problem here.
Speaker C: What you're buying goods or people?
Speaker A: We were pretty successful with some people, but I think we're looking at goods this time. See what's. What's coming in. See if we can make A deal somewhere.
Speaker C: It is good. So what kind of goods?
Speaker B: When we get the best deal on.
Speaker D: Looking for elder.
Speaker A: R. You say that.
Speaker D: I'll say it.
Speaker B: Yeah. If we can find it here. Cool.
Speaker D: Elderite. And maybe some slaves to go trade somewhere. Yeah, the front needs more stuff built.
Speaker A: I always ask about the elder. Right? But.
Speaker D: Last time we had a batch of weak slaves, they all died pretty quick digging trenches up there.
Speaker B: What's with all the questions? Can't we just do our business?
Speaker C: Because he's spying. Avoided my questions.
Speaker B: No, I just laugh. No. Who would have a spy on for.
Speaker A: Or I just say he's not bright enough for that. Just kind of laugh.
Speaker D: Oh, no offense.
Speaker B: I can't even count how many slaves.
Speaker C: He just goes. I guess he's.
Speaker A: American.
Speaker C: Southern alto. This speaks kind of slow.
Speaker D: Oh boy. But he's gonna understand it.
Speaker C: Yeah, he just. He just got slaves. We got. We got some new batch from the other world. So they probably dig much better than.
Speaker D: These weak people you get.
Speaker B: Oh good.
Speaker A: So he looked. He looked like a smart van. So they look pretty strong.
Speaker C: It should be better than they look. More durable than other human slaves.
Speaker A: I appreciate the feedback.
Speaker C: I hope you got the money.
Speaker D: It'll be cheap.
Speaker C: And that older beats me. I don't know what that is.
Speaker A: Turns into forest film.
Speaker C: Oh.
Speaker D: It'S a good thing you don't.
Speaker C: Know what it is he does.
Speaker D: That's as well your mom.
Speaker A: Not that I know him.
Speaker C: Pay the doc fee and be on.
Speaker D: Your way.
Speaker C: Down the pier to the next boat. And as you guys are coming up to the gate, as stuff is rolling in and out above the sign, it just says then leave without the butcher's leave. You guys would have heard rumors that he's the main general leading the the war at the front line. Like the main general. And he's stationed in this place or this is his. I know.
Speaker B: In that case, don't eat anyone eat here.
Speaker A: That's probably good advice when the city wall is made of beef. Probably a good idea. I just became vegan.
Speaker C: Yeah. Shuffle through the gate there. I mean there's a fairly dense population, so there's a lot of soldiers here. We also see a lot of like slaves and conscripts going in and out on both sides. As you're like walking by, see like an old church that's like nailed up shut, all the glasses all broken out of it. And you still see like. You actually see like corpses through the windows of people that are slumped in there. Sunday bus still or their. Whatever first day of the week is out remember church clothes. And as you move further into the town and you start to smell like you get like a heavy scent of like blood and roast meat is in the, in the air. And then like south like down here, you see like a giant like a big smokestack that's like just belching smoke out of it. And then as you're continue following the foot traffic and there's. And it's just getting like dirtier and like grosser and more depressing as you see like got people being shuffled around. And then as you're approaching like the town center, you see like a giant tree. It's all like gnarled and dead looking. It has tons of like rotted bodies like hanging from it. Like they just found people and just left them up there. And there's fresh ones too. And they all have like signs on them like there's your urine. Back talker and stuff like that.
Speaker A: Back talker, Yep. Bumble talker.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: And then as you approaching the big portal room where like the vast majority of the traffic is coming in and out of you get like a scent of like sulfur. You see this giant iron buildings made out of black, like black and dire diffused bone. And you actually just see this like I guess just a giant set of doors in front of you and there's people are let in. They're like lines are like, they're getting like sorted into like various different lines based off of some criteria. And you see these like mutated people that are like half, hey, half man. There's nothing. And they're like kind of like watching and organizing and all of them have like a. It almost looks kind of like. I don't know if you guys are familiar with like like hay hooks or bell hooks that kind of have like that. But they all have like something like that like hanging on their side. But it's not just like a. It's actually like fashioned in more of.
Speaker A: Like a weapon, some Minecraft thing outside the metaphor.
Speaker C: Yeah, I know. And then as you like walk in you can see that there's like another area where like new, I guess slaves from the other side have come through the portal. And that's kind of like where you guys are been directed to. So there's like an auction of various slaves. You guys actually see humanoids that you've never seen in your life, which you'd.
Speaker A: Actually see like different species.
Speaker C: Yeah, different species of like you see like your traditional like elf and actually you would see some like dwarfs and you would have been like directed, would have been directed towards this new dwarf lot of people and they don't like, you know, like they're like super stocky and muscular, but they still don't look like that LP had like enough to keep them alive and moving around.
Speaker B: Yeah, we're directed towards them like to buy them or to.
Speaker C: Yeah. Like as you guys would have been like walking and you would have been either directed or asked like what are you. Yeah, what are you looking like here for slaves? Depending on the markets over here. I need to probably see some like also like some of the more. I guess a few of the like more monstrous races from other. Yeah. Up to your guys imagination for whatever's in there. But yeah, you see like kind of the traditional fantasy. But yeah, you guys get directed over to the wars and like the. The portal itself is like probably like 20, 30ft across. It's like a huge like almost like a. Woo. Like almost like an open like scab like wound in the like the earth itself. And like you like walk down into this ramp. Up above it is like an. Kind of like an overseer and he's like a really big like gnarly looking eggman. He's sitting up there with like a book writing in it. As people come out of the the portal or get took in by various groups of other orcs or invisibility spell to come in.
Speaker A: Yeah, there.
Speaker C: There's a fair amount of like chaos.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker C: But so it's not like super regimented but people are like. There are people like around like watching but it's more to make sure nobody makes a run for it like breaks.
Speaker D: Out or two way traffic.
Speaker C: Yeah, no, there's, there's, there's, there's a lot less. The stuff that's. Most of the stuff that's coming out of the portal is more of like supplies or like orcs and like wet like. Or fighting stuff and some slaves. No, coming out of it but into it is mostly people like mostly humans. Fellow cyborg you'd see would be going in.
Speaker A: But they're slaves going in, not general population.
Speaker C: Yeah, well I mean it'd be humans like cap soldiers and.
Speaker A: But like us being captured. It'd be weird for us to go in.
Speaker C: No, because there would be. There you see other. You see groups being led in there by other people. Yeah, no, it's.
Speaker B: That's just like falling behind a group of slaves and look like we're guarding.
Speaker A: Them or shuffling, you know, or even inspecting them. Yeah, yeah. Kind of like we're like walking up the line looking for prospects and let's go.
Speaker B: Keep it moving.
Speaker C: Yeah, because you had like this goes to another world. They're not super. And you would get a sense too that like nobody here feels threatened by like anybody here. Like the. And they all are wearing Heartland here of their. Yeah.
Speaker A: Stuff.
Speaker C: And you would see that like especially the higher up guys are all marked with the Sakari image, which is this. What's it displays. Yeah, you see. So you see this like brand. Either it's either it's been like branded and like a lot of the slaves have that like branded onto like their cheek or forehead.
Speaker A: And we don't know about this. Our characters don't know. Our other characters know about this. I can just tell you it's bad. Yeah, but we don't know about this.
Speaker D: Our path binder manager.
Speaker C: Yeah, Wes. This is. These are kind of like, okay, the core evil people and are in my. I guess our general shared universe multi world setting. Yeah, they're.
Speaker A: Am I talking about getting an arm ripped off on my other characters? Related very much.
Speaker C: And these are this, These the Sakari are the people that actually in. Well, they got called to Frac Terra or other our fantasy planet or whatever. They're the ones that. It caused the war that like shattered the planet and the people had to magic get back together. That's why it's all messed up.
Speaker B: We don't know any of that.
Speaker D: No, this is fine.
Speaker A: Yeah, we'll just go walk along the line like maybe slightly faster than the line. Like if anybody's looking at us. I'll just use like doctor comments to like make investigations of whether or not this is a good slave or not, you know. Yeah. They're too sickly or physical condition. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker C: And you would see some of these like disgusting like hog like housewives mostly. It's like they're kind of like their upper body and like their head is like pig like. And they have like the thick like, like pig hair and like their skin is kind of like leathery. Yeah, kind of leathery. And they like are like snuffling at people and like, like kind of like gnashing their mouths out of it. Like just generally or I guess rough or aggressive. Like intimidation. Intimidating. Intimidating or whatever.
Speaker A: Can I tell as a doctor like looking at them if they're really another species or if they're like they've been purposely mutated from formerly humans or other species. Like could I tell like if there are multiple pig people, could I tell that they were from different species that have been turned into pigs or are they all uniform kind of thing.
Speaker C: They're all fairly uniform, but. But it would be hard to, like, know if they were Savicola slash humans before, because they don't.
Speaker A: Enough's changed.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker A: Okay. I was wondering if, like, some of them had pointed ears and some didn't kind of thing like they were elves.
Speaker C: Oh, yeah. No, these ones, they all look fairly similar, but. Yeah, they don't. Yeah, they don't look like they're like. Yeah, elves or something else that it'd be. Yeah, it's just hard to tell if they were.
Speaker A: All right. Yeah. I guess we just make a way into the.
Speaker C: Yeah. So as you. As you, like, move near this, into the. Into the maw, the air, like, starts to distort, and people in front of you, you hear them, like, actually, like, some of the slaves, prisoners, like, scream, and then nothing as they go into this thing. And it is. As you're, like, walking in dock, you would definitely, like, pick it probably Jacques, too. It, like, it has the sulfur smell, but there's that. There's almost like that iron scent of blood. And you can, like. You can kind of see, like, the edges is. It does actually look like a wound in the earth. And as you, like, walk through this, you're actually almost like, stepping through, like, coagulated blood as you go into this portal.
Speaker A: Lovely.
Speaker C: And then two is, like, the. The viscosity of, like, the portal plane, I guess, as you're, like, breaking through, it is kind of, like, yellow, like.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: And it's kind of like. It, like, makes kind of like, that weird, like, Jello, I guess, when you, like, stick your finger in somewhat congealed Jello, kind of like. Yeah. As you push through this. And then there's, like, almost like a screaming sound as you, like, walk through this portal. And all of a sudden, you're on the other side, and it's almost the same. The building is similar, but it's, like, even bigger. And there's even, like, more of, like, a warehouse. And in this area, you can actually see, like, up above you, there's tons of, like, shadowed orcs up there watching and, like, guarding this place. But, yeah, then people are, like, starting to get, like, shoved and poked up the. Up the ramp into, like, the sorting area. And then as you're coming up, you start seeing, like, other groups, like, the groups that were leading these people, leading the prisoner slaves kind of break off and go into this other section in this massive building. Yep. And then, yeah, these kind of. These people kind of get shuffled. You guys get kind of like shuffled off to like the side into a. Into like a smaller like room area too, I guess. Asked kind of like what? Yeah, there like you. There would be like a section where you can get like people that have come through to like buy our shuffle off into. And then you guys would be greeted by a bulk key. A bulky like humanoid male, about like 5 foot tall. They're kind of muscular, like kind of strong man bug because they're only like five feet long. I have white. He's got like a white robe but all like all engraved on it.
Speaker A: And.
Speaker C: The color of blood or like a bunches of runes kind of with the. The bass like gravelly like hissy hissing voice. It just goes welcome.
Speaker A: Suckish.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker B: Thank you. I feel very welcome.
Speaker C: How can we be of service?
Speaker A: But that's less than adequate. Slaves. Last time. I don't remember what camp they were from. These ones that are out here with camper, they're coming from all over camp. Slaves from the same garbage place we got last time. What was it they died from last time?
Speaker D: Too weak. Take the lash Very well.
Speaker C: You see him kind of like half like smirk and his teeth are like kind of like blood red. Like like if you. When you eat like candy. Like. Like his like his teeth are like have like the stained like blood look. That red suit.
Speaker A: He just pulls out a sucker.
Speaker C: He goes the one that gives you cancer.
Speaker A: Trying to be even using some lingo from like the slaver. Like the stuff I've learned to be like.
Speaker C: He would just be asked. He'd ask you what. What kind of work do you want them need them to do.
Speaker D: Mining in trenches.
Speaker A: We probably need a few that just need to run back and forth but. And runners for supply.
Speaker C: You probably want them dwarfs. Those. Those people digging or stout.
Speaker B: What's a dwarf seed?
Speaker C: He just like. He just goes come with me. And he starts leading you out of this ruin and out of the portal.
Speaker A: But before you do that, from my reading of that book. Should we know what thorns are by now? If we've been here before, I don't.
Speaker C: Think you guys would know. You would.
Speaker A: I mean, shouldn't.
Speaker C: No. There would be no reason for you guys to know what the worst are.
Speaker A: Okay. I was thinking from his perspective. Is it unnatural?
Speaker C: Oh, he know. Like he knew you. Like he would know that you guys came because that portal only goes to Sabico. He would know you came from there and they'd probably know it was your first time being in here.
Speaker A: Okay. I would say really too is that they might want some pretty Girls, if you know what I mean.
Speaker C: I just laugh.
Speaker A: I say, you liked it.
Speaker C: He goes, that could be a rank. You mind if they don't quite look.
Speaker A: Like humans where we're at.
Speaker D: But we're open. Varieties of spice over there.
Speaker A: Yeah. So that would be first. I'd be like, prefer the human. And you see varieties of spice in life. I said, or maybe some other ones too.
Speaker D: Flavor is hard.
Speaker C: Figured out you would have probably grew up around people like that.
Speaker D: Anyways, Jack's trying not restraining himself, but not just wasting burning the place down. Yeah.
Speaker C: So yeah. So you guys, you. Yeah, so you guys come out and he's like, we do have a camp specifically made for breeding. The prettier people usually get good stock out of 14.
Speaker A: They come here immediately, go there.
Speaker C: Oh, you stay here in town. You're not allowed to leave the city first times. And as you guys would like as you walked out into this place, you realize it, it's massive. It's a massive city. And you actually. And it has like a very like savage feel to it, but also kind of like an old feel to it. It feels like it's been here. And you see it's all lit by like this cold white light. And you look up at the sky and it's just like deep like purple like nebula. Like looking. You don't actually see any stars. Oh yeah, there it is. Yeah, it's deep, deep blue nebula. So like everything kind of has like a blue shot like deep blue shadow to it. And now you, now you kind of get why the shadow. Orcs are like their color, the coloring on them. They would blend in really well. And you notice like probably like softball size winged, like little like not quite like pixies or anything, but kind of like larger like blow bugs or whatever. Some of them are like floating around and they have some in like cages and there's like bioluminescent plants that are providing some light in the city. The, the actual architecture is kind of like baroque style, which I think is like Notre Dame, old cathedral, kind of like. Like Gothic. Yeah, Gothic. That a lot of this, like either dark stone or white stone with like blood runes, like blood colored like rings engraved into it.
Speaker D: Oh well, we know what runes are.
Speaker A: We just assume there's.
Speaker C: You would probably just assume it's just like weird symbols. Like they'd look probably a lot kind of like Chinese, Japanese, Korean. Like they'd have like that look to you. Like that looks like it's. Yeah. Written must mean something, but wouldn't really know what it means. But yeah, he just kind of like walks you out into the greater city of it. And you know that this place is. There's around a hundred thousand people that live here. Then you would I guess learn too that this is like one of their. One of the major cities slash military base where they. Where the. Where this Billington portal to Sab Nicole just coming from. Yeah. He'd be just leading you to like towards like a. An in type building.
Speaker B: Do you know where the shadows are supposed to be?
Speaker A: Let's talk about that. Where do we got. Right here.
Speaker C: He's taking you out of the build like out of the big portal room and is heading walking you towards. He's taking you to the visitors in Slavers in.
Speaker A: Coming to us that business in a few.
Speaker C: Yeah. So he get. Takes you to visitors and it's quite large, probably like four floors. Takes you up to the desk and gets you check in. Introduces you to Real Zeb realzip.
Speaker A: Which.
Speaker C: Is like another guy dressed similar. It's like you don't do you're dealing with rails up.
Speaker A: Dealings particular to the camp thing.
Speaker C: Yeah, the slavers you're looking for. Yeah, the slaves. He's one of our slave merchants. He'll take care of your staffing needs.
Speaker A: Excellent.
Speaker C: He just turns around and heads back.
Speaker A: But this is an inn as well.
Speaker C: Yeah, you're at it. You're at it. And okay. And there's lots of other people and there's other like races that you.
Speaker A: Actually.
Speaker C: Another would be really deep here now. You actually just see other humans at this end. You're probably. There would be some like shadow orcs.
Speaker A: Staff.
Speaker C: Moving about this particular. In the. I guess the mess hall room of the. This man. Yeah, you guys each have a room.
Speaker A: So they take this to room they.
Speaker C: They gave you. You got like room to heat or whatever. And they're just right next to each other on the second floor.
Speaker A: Yes. I told that we're looking for slaves. We're looking for ones that are stronger. But I guess I understand got camp of pretty ladies we might be interested in. I might be able to actually make a killing with the contact we had with the privy. How many. How many you have coming from this free kid?
Speaker C: Yes, because. And it's like similar voice, kind of like gravelly like this one's a little tender, more tenor. But he just goes. That's not how it works. Can you tell us how many you want? What you want? And we break them and you inspect and yay your name. And.
Speaker A: I guess some of. I need to know. I Kind of know how much they might have an appetite for. But I kind of need to know how much it costs for these kind of. We don't usually trade too much in praise as much as we do the labor when, you know, kind of look back at you like when you don't whip the fool out of them.
Speaker C: But he, he goes, well, he goes, we have the like normal attractive people and then we have specifically bread tractor people. So which. And those ones are a higher premium, but they're guaranteed to be.
Speaker A: So my sister would not be right.
Speaker C: She may like be. Be in that program potentially, but not like. And again, I guess too like this is close to like one of the lines. Like if that's, if Ms. That is too much, then we'll definitely like change it. But yeah, he has, he says, yeah, they have, yeah.
Speaker A: Pretty women that are being bred to make more pretty women to sell.
Speaker C: Yeah. Specific for specific. You know, however, you know, the same way natural selection. Yes.
Speaker D: Genetics.
Speaker C: Yes. Genetic breeding for that stuff. Yeah. Husbandry for that. And then they also just have. They call them the naturals that are just attractive people that they've just siphoned off and said they'll fetch a better price than being workers.
Speaker A: Where we're from. They're not necessarily yet into alternative forms of people that I've seen walking around here. Although there might be a market for that.
Speaker D: Like the pointy ear ones maybe like my friend here.
Speaker A: And we'll see. But so probably I'm thinking more as normal as possible. Yeah. All right. I start describing, I basically start describing the generalities around my sister. Be like hair color and all this. It's like where we're at, this is probably going to be the more popular. Yeah. Can only be this tall to ride the ride. We don't want them too skinny, don't want them too fat. I said, but you know, we can plump some of them up if we need to. But I would know she would be more like me. It'd be hard to probably make her fat. So but she could probably easily be made skinny if she was like starved or something. Let's just say we're not looking for heavy women. Describe the rest around her height and general bill and stuff.
Speaker B: Hair color.
Speaker A: So this is probably consultant, our particular buyers.
Speaker C: He's like, how many are you looking for? You can just say like blah. You don't have to have specific value.
Speaker A: Well, I guess I would say like appetite wise. Like it just depends on how much they cost. But if the quality I might be able to go back and Convince it for some more. But if we can see how many diet. We can see, you know, a sample maybe, you know, 50, and just kind of look through and see what that's at. If there's that many, maybe a mix of the types you're talking about, because they may have an appetite for the, you know, both of those that you're talking about. I hadn't thought about that. So you said it. We might be able to make some money on this.
Speaker C: Oh, I can get 50 samples for you rustled up for tomorrow afternoon. What about workers? And also, I guess for the attractive people is like, all women or.
Speaker A: Women.
Speaker C: Only, or do you want both genders?
Speaker A: Well, that's a good question. I would say right now, all women. But what I. After this round, we'll go back and we'll ask because there's people with different takes that might have different attitudes towards that. But we'll start with this because we know we can sell them. I might even find that regular merchant for you guys.
Speaker C: He's like, we already have.
Speaker A: Well, that's true.
Speaker C: And you. You would, like, look in this room, and there's probably, like 20, 30 buyers. Other people fan the hammers.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: I would say probably like 80% of them are humans. But then you also do see, like, some other. Other, like, power armor.
Speaker A: Iron man montage. Let's go destroy all the weapons.
Speaker D: Big old space marine warhammer stuff.
Speaker A: I can probably sense your jaw clenching.
Speaker D: Yeah, like my chain soared back here.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: I would ask him on the room things like, do you guys have a suite we could stay in?
Speaker C: He would go only for recognize the buyers.
Speaker A: Okay, well, maybe we'll be that one day next time. Yeah, I like how you think. Okay, so tomorrow. Oh, about the others. Oh, I guess so. You can have them here too, tomorrow.
Speaker C: Yeah, well, he goes. He goes for workers. You just buy a lot. You get what you kill.
Speaker A: Oh, that's. Well, that was.
Speaker C: Yeah, they will work. That's a guarantee. We'll compensate you for any failed merchandise on your next visit.
Speaker A: Oh, wow. You just bring their head back. That's easy to have to ship the whole person back. Much better outfit than a lot of space. I said, okay, well, I'm not sure that might be able to make so much money on this one. I would like to see how much of a lucrative deal that is before you go looking at clients. They've only got so much room. We may just load up on the limit and see how that goes, come back for the workers. I think they'd forgive us if it Came back with a load of the pretty girls. Can we look at the girls first and then decide?
Speaker C: They always got workers getting ready to shunt it out. That's good. I guess too, like when you would. When you came. Like when you enter. I guess when you arrived in that building, you. There is actually like five roads or four major roads. You can actually see like all the way. Basically the exit of the cities. Like just four main arteries coming into this portal and then there's a bunch of districts and other stuff industry around here, around it.
Speaker A: All right. Your hopes greatly appreciate it. Obviously done this before and I'm thankful for it. All right, we'll head to our rooms. And I'm assuming he said what time and where?
Speaker C: Yeah, he said he don't fetch you in the afternoon.
Speaker A: So is there a good place to get some drug here that you recommend? Rocking here.
Speaker C: What's that? He just says right here that the end. Unless you're looking for something more non savvy, like.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: He goes, yeah, if you'd like to try our natural cuisine, there's restaurants from home.
Speaker A: Jerky.
Speaker B: Yes.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker C: He does say, like you just feel. Suit yourself. Put your miss out. And then he like looks like just like his upper like teeth.
Speaker A: Doc does his best. I've seen blood before, kind of. All right.
Speaker C: Goes off to go meet another group of people.
Speaker A: I hope you find your sister. I hope she's okay.
Speaker D: The city we're in the same size as this one.
Speaker C: No, it's like a hundred thousand people. This one's like 10. It's way bigger. Yeah, no, they didn't. Like you saw like other people wandering around and stuff. Like they're, they're. They didn't say anything. The only warning they gave you is like, don't leave the city.
Speaker A: Sure.
Speaker C: Is basically all they said. What, you wonder around? Yeah.
Speaker D: You have to think about if you can't get her in a lot, you're gonna have to go find her.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker A: Or we can say we don't like this lot. We want to see another.
Speaker D: Yeah, that only works so long.
Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah. And then from your research, you did know that your sister was camp freaking?
Speaker A: Yeah, I went down camp questions. So when you get to the room, I will tell you guys, like, hey, that's that camp that I learned about.
Speaker B: And is the camp outside the city?
Speaker C: Yes, it's about it. They're about a day away.
Speaker A: Can I tell, like from what we've heard or seen, can we tell if we are on the same planet, the same plane? Like, do we know?
Speaker D: Can't see the sky.
Speaker A: What I have the teleportation for Dummies and some stuff about shadow. Like. And with some of the entities and creatures and patrons.
Speaker C: You 100 know you're not on Sapphicola anymore. Like, just, just, just the. You. Yeah. You'd have no way to know. Know that.
Speaker A: Well, I was just thinking because I have like the patrons, both beings, entities, creatures. They have some other things about. I was wondering if in any of those it describes some real blood existence. And.
Speaker C: Well, I guess you guys wouldn't necessarily have. Well, you probably have telescopes, but like this. I guess for the. For you guys players, there's nothing like you come out. The air is different, but it's still.
Speaker D: Like breathe here because the humidity.
Speaker A: There's no rain.
Speaker C: Yeah, that. That would be like. The weirdest thing is there's like. It's like a.
Speaker B: It's too dry here.
Speaker C: Yeah. But the weirdest thing is, is like the sky is all like purple. You don't see. You don't actually. Like, you don't see a sun, you don't see any moons, don't see any stars. It just has like that nebula like cloud around the whole sky. Is like if you were looking at some of those like nebula pictures from space is what it looks like. And that's where there's some light comes from that. But a lot of the light is from bioluminescent plants and like these creatures that are like flying around or kept in cages for the light. And you, I guess you. You kind of get the sense that the light is mostly for the. For like you guys because, like, they can see.
Speaker A: From my reading, like, the Slaver's Travel Guide to the Shadowlands, is there anything in there that hints about how we could travel in the area? Or is it pretty much say like knowing you, like go through the portals, you're man here. You get your stuff and you go home.
Speaker C: Yeah. You'd enter one of this, let's say slave city, get your merchandise and leave. They don't let people out of there. Leave. The cities that the portal is in, portals are in.
Speaker A: If you're anywhere like him, you want to burn this place to the ground. I will say, you know, a lot of times, well, keep your mind open to that possibility. If we find her, and there's a way to do that on the way out.
Speaker C: Yeah, I guess you would know, like. Yeah. Where the camp is roughly a day away.
Speaker A: Okay. Can I, Can I tell when we came in? With the nature of the portals being biological, would I be able to tell, like, things that are feeding it along the way. Like, from a doctor's eye, Could I tell, like, how it's fed or powered?
Speaker C: Like, I say you have other than, like, other than, like, the ring of blood and, like, the viscosity of it feeling like coagulated blood. Jello. As you walk through. You have no clue. This would be beyond anything any of you guys have experienced.
Speaker A: Oh, it's got demon materials. We recognize that. I don't know how it works.
Speaker C: I totally forget Ollie was with you guys.
Speaker A: I guess Ollie's robed. Yeah, he's got her a long robe so she doesn't glow.
Speaker C: Oh, she's got an illusion. That's nice. You guys already got four rooms.
Speaker B: Figured out how to get out of the city?
Speaker D: Yep.
Speaker B: We have to do that.
Speaker A: Find this camp.
Speaker C: No, she would tell, like, once while you guys are, like, gathered up in your room or whatever. Yeah, she would tell you it's blood magic. Don't have the means to stop that right now.
Speaker A: Okay, well, you're probably the most experienced here, so you probably need to keep your eye out if there's a way to end this on our way out of here.
Speaker D: Dwarves and other races from that we.
Speaker B: Saw from your place.
Speaker C: She does. You know, we have dwarves and elves on my planet and many others.
Speaker A: So.
Speaker B: You know what they're like.
Speaker C: And she talks. Yeah, she's fast. And with the French accent.
Speaker A: Doc might be curious and ask a few questions. Just about. Are they generally good, bad?
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: In between. What she wants Same.
Speaker C: We just have general. She goes. She just goes doors. Pretty much live under. Underground or in mountains and love to mine and dig. And they're excellent blacksmiths and crafters.
Speaker D: Bring them back.
Speaker A: Maybe a quick fire if you. Yeah. And then just tell them, hey, your lucky day. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker C: Because the elves are almost immortal.
Speaker A: And.
Speaker C: They'Re usually extremely, like, fair for, like, their looks and generally aloof to us mortal people.
Speaker A: Yeah, we don't want.
Speaker D: I don't.
Speaker C: We.
Speaker B: We tried to stage a slave uprising. Would they join?
Speaker C: She, like, shrugs and she goes. And I guess, too, you would see that she's a lot more nervous than you've seen her act since you, like, entered abandoned gate. And especially when you started seeing that Sakari symbol.
Speaker A: And not knowing join them on.
Speaker C: She's like, this could be where they came from. If this is their. This is their, like, home plan. And we have no shot of doing anything here with us. The slaves have no shot. She goes. That guy that. Those guys that we were talking to, those were runes written on their robes and blood. So they're flood pages, most likely. Which is very strong magic and very neat thing. Well, it's not even to the wielders.
Speaker A: That's a way to think outside the box, though.
Speaker C: So no, we need. We would probably need some of the. We would need most of our planet, my planet and their people, especially as she is. So now that we, like, know how to. We can get here from your planet. If I can get back to my planet from your planet, then maybe we have a shot of actually invading this place. There's a chance she would. She goes. That Zendrix would be very interested in.
Speaker B: That's what is. All right. So we just gotta survive and bring the information back.
Speaker D: Yep.
Speaker A: We don't know Zendrick's name.
Speaker C: No need. Have not. You'd have no clue. And if you asked her, she.
Speaker D: What's the Zen accessories?
Speaker C: She goes basic. She goes. She's practically the Avatar of Light and wields a shadow sword and has a dragon trapped in it.
Speaker B: All right, perfect.
Speaker C: What's a dragon? You guys. Yeah, you guys wouldn't.
Speaker D: Actually.
Speaker C: Guys wouldn't know that.
Speaker D: Like this one in the painting from the Renaissance.
Speaker C: Actually, I guess it's. It's. I guess I have to. It's. She has a demon trapped in it. Not a. A dragon, because the lore's change the way the lore has changed. But yeah. So he has a demon trapped in his sword.
Speaker B: Know what that is?
Speaker D: It's probably what demons?
Speaker C: You would probably have like an idea.
Speaker D: Probably wouldn't know if they're real or not.
Speaker C: Yeah, you'd have like, your sense and you'd probably like the stuff you like, kind like seeing here. You have like a sense of, like.
Speaker D: You see guards in the street.
Speaker C: Yeah, there. There would be like some guys patrolling and stuff. Human or shadow or. They're almost everybody here, you see, that's like in a soldier capacity are like shadow Orcs. And you probably. You may see like some Scaven Fratman. Yes.
Speaker D: Oh, wow.
Speaker C: Oh, and then from him, you might see some Skaven.
Speaker D: Stitch himself.
Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. See any with a cane and a hat?
Speaker C: No, Stitch would not join the Sicari. He would probably actually be leading a war against the Sakari.
Speaker A: I would ask Ollie to say, just in case we have to get into a scrape instead of your whole army, how much chance do we stand with pistols and stuff against.
Speaker D: They have melee weapons or guns?
Speaker C: All the. All like the orcs here are basically like having medieval weapons. Oh, yeah, yeah.
Speaker A: As far as the blood mages go.
Speaker C: Oh, Shingos you kill them asap.
Speaker A: We would be able to.
Speaker C: Should. It's like.
Speaker A: Yeah, they're generally.
Speaker C: It depends on how powerful they are there. I mean, it's gonna suck.
Speaker A: Okay. But at least. At least we have.
Speaker C: But if.
Speaker A: If something went south and if there's.
Speaker C: Four of us against one of them, then we have very good odds.
Speaker A: I don't like those numbers, but. Okay.
Speaker C: She goes.
Speaker B: Only four of us.
Speaker C: Yeah, she goes. Blood magic is foul. And if we. We may get lucky and he may kill himself and draw him too much, or he may. Or we may get unlucky. He uses one of us for his power source. Well, he can't use me because I have no blood, but you guys are un.
Speaker A: Hopefully he'll try you first.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: And be disappointed. Well, uses his fat gun to put a hole into the size of my head.
Speaker C: She. She chuckled and say, well, we get fighting my illusions dropping because I didn't spend the energy to keep that up.
Speaker A: Yeah. Then we got bigger problems at that point anyways. I will say kind of from a fallback standpoint, we have to get out of here. Got the thing. I just overlooked it once.
Speaker C: The box.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker D: Okay.
Speaker C: She. She goes, it should. There shouldn't be anything.
Speaker A: And I update her. That's like. It takes about, you know, whatever it was, 30 seconds or something.
Speaker C: A minute.
Speaker A: It's a minute.
Speaker C: Yeah, it's a minute.
Speaker D: Barricade ourselves somewhere.
Speaker C: She's like, I may be able to. Well, it depends on what we're dealing. I may be able to shield us long enough, but I may need some of your guys's life so that.
Speaker A: Oh, what does that entail? He starts talking and stops. Like, wait.
Speaker C: Yeah, it's not your life energy.
Speaker A: Is that a permanent thing?
Speaker C: Spiritual energy?
Speaker A: Is that a permanent thing or a temporary thing?
Speaker C: So you won't, like, cripple you or anything, but, I mean, if we draw. If I have to draw too long or you let me draw too long, it will kill you. It won't age you. If you're worried about that, I have several other questions.
Speaker A: I guess I'll worry about those later because in time I probably won't care.
Speaker C: She goes, If I'm having to use any of you for batteries, you probably won't mind because we're in trouble. We're up to our necks in the shite.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker C: But I don't see that.
Speaker A: If we see that in the mix, that I don't see that we need to just grab or go, but we might be able to just buy her and walk out and then we can get to the boat and then it.
Speaker B: Could be easy and just walk.
Speaker A: But that would be the ideal right now. So. Okay.
Speaker D: Walk around the city, look at the gates.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: If we have to leave.
Speaker B: Exactly.
Speaker C: Yeah. They say you guys have like. Yeah, yeah. You guys have like close to like 24 hours, basically.
Speaker D: And then Jacques would probably. Yeah, Jock would do it, but he would go and try and find if there's a tavern or a bar where there's shadow orcs and see if maybe he'd get a location up Camp 14. You guys, we don't know where that is.
Speaker C: You guys know where it is? Okay.
Speaker A: Yeah, I got that from the map geography thing.
Speaker D: And then Josh would just go and.
Speaker C: Shoot them all up. It's like a day. It's a day. It's basically a day trek from where you drive.
Speaker D: We know where it's at.
Speaker B: Yeah. We want to assess how hard it would be to leave if you wanted.
Speaker D: To go look at the gates or whatever.
Speaker A: So.
Speaker C: Yeah, as you guys like go explore and like walk down this several mile long road, probably, you know, there's. There's no walls or gates.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker C: I mean, there's a fairly, like, there's like, like smaller, like there's small roads, but there's mainly. It's just these four basically highways that come into the city and there's constantly like people and goods moving towards that portal or into the city. And see, it's. It's a manufacturing city, kind of like a war machine city.
Speaker A: From my reading, then how much would I know about the. What it's like between here and there and like, is it heavy traffic? And it would be weird to see us on the road or fraught with creatures.
Speaker C: If you went out on the road, travel on the road, you would just get stopped at the gate. Like you would like, let's say we got. But if you left the city and don't get caught, like, you. You, like, you would be abnormal. Yeah, you especially a human. Like, yeah, you guys being out there without orcs or some like an orc or a blood guy with you or like someone. Some Sakari with no sakari with you. Yeah, you. They'd either kill you or put you in a camp.
Speaker A: I asked Ollie to be like, did you delusion all of us if we had to. If we had to walk out of here.
Speaker B: We can just change your appearance to be like a nice.
Speaker C: So we could try it, but I don't. They may have detection. Detection for. They may even have detection for like people leaving the city. So we may need to like.
Speaker A: If it comes to that.
Speaker C: When it gets nighttime and she kind of chuckles and it's like it may not get darker here.
Speaker D: What is the. Is there vegetation and stuff out? What is that inside the city?
Speaker C: Yeah, there would. I mean there would be fairly like to. The camp is mostly like probably be like grassland. Not a whole ton of like cover per se. But it's like dark.
Speaker D: This thing.
Speaker C: It's dark and there'd probably be like maybe closer to like maybe like more fungus. Like maybe like Zanga marsh style for like the trees and stuff from World of Warcraft. So like. Yeah, way more like fungus stuff that likes to live in the. In the dark or darker or. Yeah.
Speaker D: We get out of the city. Have to wait and see.
Speaker B: They have stables or something like horses.
Speaker C: They would have some sort of. They don't have horses but they have like similar.
Speaker B: Or whatever they call them.
Speaker C: But I mean you guys have your horse rings. They could possibly. Two horses. No, cash doesn't. But you do have two horses which four people could ride on.
Speaker A: So it is a big deal. Just see what the first girls look like.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Then go for another round. They don't get too angry. Maybe buy a few.
Speaker C: That.
Speaker A: Anybody looking for a wife. So you might buy a few. You might be high. Gratitude might change your mind.
Speaker C: All right. Yeah. Anything else you guys want to do in the city before. No, I don't think.
Speaker A: There'S some shopping is.
Speaker D: No.
Speaker A: They didn't seem to know what elder it was. Yeah.
Speaker C: Well the one guy that you talked to didn't but he didn't ask anybody.
Speaker A: I don't know if it's more common here.
Speaker C: Well it may be unique and sound co you just don't know.
Speaker B: I never thought I knew.
Speaker C: You're welcome in other places exist. Yeah. So if nothing else then just get poor and you get summoned. You get I guess brought to kind of like a large building with a bunch of tents and stuff in it. But then like kind of like a stage and there's 50 women in their skivies ready for inspection.
Speaker A: They're in the pens or they're all.
Speaker C: No, they're like up on like a stage.
Speaker A: I guess it'd be like this.
Speaker C: Kind of like an oxy block.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: You would walk around and inspect, make observations. Yeah. And I would say like I guess before you in the plan would be at least have you know if you guys. This is unfortunate as this sounds. If you have some where you're like these are probably the prettiest and we have to buy some to get another 50. At least have some agreement on who those might be so that we can. We've chosen something. I feel sick talking about this, but you gotta do.
Speaker B: All right.
Speaker A: Start walking by. I would kind of keep my hat kind of low, but. And try to like, shot on my face a bit. I don't want to try see her. I don't want her to like, recognize me. And now that she would expect to see me here.
Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. You guys look at all these. Yeah. You don't see your own sister. Then like, after like a reasonable amount of time, Rel says, you know, it's like satisfactory ready to purchase.
Speaker A: Such a surprising. So the. We got many more. So I got a few here that I think are probably standouts. How difficult would it be to see another? And if it's too much trouble, I mean, if you want to back and forth this to the camp, we can just peruse.
Speaker C: He goes, if these ones aren't. If the majority of these aren't satisfactory, then you'll want the specific or like the special. The specialty breeds. And like, you guys know, like, these are all quite like attractive women.
Speaker A: But do I know from his description, like, which group my sister would be in because they're special breeds, they're bred.
Speaker C: No, you wouldn't. You just the. The information you had that she's in 14, but you don't, like, you don't know where these ones were sourced from. You wouldn't know where these came from or anything. Or if they even brought. Would have fetched people from Camp Fort.
Speaker A: Oh, because I thought the guy had said that the pretty girls were in 14.
Speaker C: He says one of their camps. Yeah, but he doesn't. He didn't say they. These came from there or where they came from. Okay. I said that's like one of their breeder camps.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker B: So.
Speaker A: I guess you know where I'm coming from. I'm just trying to figure out how to ask the question to make sure that I'm the most likely to get from the group. Where my sister would be from is that if she's in a camp that is known for breeders, then I would ask for.
Speaker C: Right, you would. You wouldn't have. You would have. There would be no way for you. So I guess what I should say is you need to go to 14 if you want to. If you want to guarantee getting your system and you would. You would realize that after this. And like, if. Because he doesn't seem very inclined to fetch more, if these 50 aren't satisfactory and you would get the Sense like, you would get this. And then I guess all of you would, like, these are attractive women and met like your specifications. So, like, he would get like you and you get a sense that you're insulting them by like not accepting like the lot or being like, oh, these only these ones were acceptable. Oh, because you, yeah, you got. I guess I'm approaching this from like, you know, like, I guess any other reader. They're like, they like, know their craft or whatever. So he knows, like, and they've been dealing with Sabicola for at least 10, like, for 10 years.
Speaker A: Well, if I got that before we had the number, I probably wouldn't have asked for 50. Just on the grounds that if I knew I was going to have to buy something, I wouldn't want to buy 50. It's probably going to be expensive.
Speaker C: And he's, he's fine. Like, it's not like, it's not a big deal that you like, ask to see like 50 samples. You would see that he'd get annoyed if you're like, oh, these ones aren't good enough. Then he's like, well, you should have asked for the specialty brief.
Speaker A: Okay, I guess what I could say then that would be like, yes, I would tell them, like, they don't disappoint, but I'm sure that, you know, can afford the entire line at this point. But I'm interested in your operation. You have a tour how you do these things. I heard rumor of got some breeding that goes on. I'd be curious to know because I have some people that might long term want us to keep supplying them.
Speaker C: He just goes, if you. We can set up a contract for regular deliveries if you would like.
Speaker A: I think I would need to see the operation. Is that possible?
Speaker C: You see like a wicked predator. Like a wicked predator. Not just like a human predator, but like an alpha, like type predator. Like smile, like, appear on his, on his face.
Speaker A: Okay. He doesn't say anything?
Speaker C: No.
Speaker A: Well, I take that as a no. So how much is this lot?
Speaker C: He was. Well, if you want all 50 and then to get all 50, it will be 5 credit ratings, which is all that I have. You guys can pull or you can buy. You don't have to. I'll just say it's like four credit, right? It's 10. One credit rating for 10. And then like if you sold them, you would double or triple your credit rating.
Speaker A: Like, okay, I tell you what, I don't want to waste your time. So If I take 10 of these off the hands here, we can Talk about that special move you're talking about. We can see. See those as well. Well, yeah. Ten of them in the city right now. Yeah. Y.
Speaker C: Have them brought out right now.
Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. Let's take a look at them and then we can just do a collective view on people have.
Speaker C: Yeah. So like, all, like, these ones all get, like, shuffled back off into their pens.
Speaker A: What do I interpret from his friend? Like, suspicion or.
Speaker C: Or danger.
Speaker A: Like, that's not something people ask.
Speaker C: It's probably like, kind of like the sense that, like, he kind of wants you to keep pushing, but not for the reasons that you think. This is more, like, sadistic. A fly going into the spider's web.
Speaker A: It's like, if you go there, then you're staying there.
Speaker C: Yeah. Kind of like, yes, come. Come visit me in my home. No, you. Yeah.
Speaker A: That was not an invitation.
Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, it was.
Speaker A: It was a warning.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker C: Too many questions. Kind of like, you're here to do this and asking more is suspicious because most people are like, just come here, get their stuff. Yeah. So, like. Yeah, so not too much. Not much of a weight. And then, like, 10. 10 more would have been come out. And these are like, make your jaw drop. Like, they're not. They're approaching, like, the uncanny valley of.
Speaker A: Humans, but they're not, like, magically manipulated. They're just.
Speaker C: Yeah. I say you would have no clue, like, how they are, but, like, they like, like all. I guess the ideal of human, like, attractiveness is, like, maxed out on all the sliders or whatever.
Speaker A: Character creator.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker A: Got bonkers.
Speaker C: So it's. It's kind of like a giant, like, stare bounce open or this. You feel like dumb kite.
Speaker D: Dumb, like.
Speaker C: Dumb eyeball. Yeah.
Speaker D: I don't remember what card.
Speaker C: I don't know if that was Roger Rabbit or what that stupid wolf or just old cartoon. But it's like one of those that's like you. You catch yourself staring because it's. It's bordering on, like, the. It's just something you just don't, like, see it. Yeah.
Speaker A: Okay. But my sister's not trying to withhold my disappointment. How you don't disappoint. I've never, almost never seen anything like that. Not in a group like this.
Speaker C: Especially selected.
Speaker A: Do any of them look like my sister? This is a weird question. Any of the 20?
Speaker C: I said no. Not other than, like, they're human.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker C: So, yeah, they're all different.
Speaker A: How do you do this arrangement?
Speaker C: Well, these ones are. So these ones would be like 2 per credit rating. Way more expensive. But you'd also like, these are I guess the normal one. I guess you'd be able to like if you sold them to the right people, could double, I guess, your profit. And then these ones are like triple profit. And he. He would like alter like yes. To be Add some more to the discuss. Would be that like. Like they're also like, they've been bred for like, personality and stuff so that what don't cause trouble and trouble and everything.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: They scarred inside.
Speaker C: You just see like that. He just goes that grin again.
Speaker A: I just look at me. All right.
Speaker C: Because they're perfectly fine. Perfect.
Speaker A: Shoot him. Just make sure you don't shoot him.
Speaker C: Anyone else around. There would be other, like.
Speaker A: That's a good question.
Speaker C: Yeah, there would be like, guards in there and stuff. Like, I mean, you could probably win the fight in this building if you wanted to.
Speaker D: They considered rabble.
Speaker C: Most of them would be, as far as the system is concerned, would be rebels.
Speaker D: All right, maybe on our way back.
Speaker A: And say, okay, how do we know Continue this transaction to your satisfaction.
Speaker C: Like, I got paper here and I.
Speaker A: Just need.
Speaker C: Your thumbprint and the money.
Speaker A: Is the thumbprint the problem?
Speaker C: In what way?
Speaker A: No, no, I'm asking you, like, do I think anything of the thumbprint Pl.
Speaker C: Oh, he like, he has the paperwork and then he has like a little like, thingy. Press your thumb in, but there's like a needle, like in the center of it, a little crook of blood. All her deals are signed. Okay, kids.
Speaker A: Paperwork, Right. She lovely. Now read the contract. Is it just saying? It's if you don't pay, we have your blood.
Speaker C: It's just like, yes, it's just basically to build a cell. It's like, these are your problem now. Like, kind of like no returns, no refunds.
Speaker A: All right.
Speaker C: Once you cross the threshold, you're puzzled.
Speaker A: I look at you guys and say, well, you guys want to spin it on or you guys think we should do some on the workers? We're going to be reaching our budget this trim. Here's how preference we give you some workers. Okay.
Speaker C: Yep.
Speaker A: Are your workers around the same? They're in a different building at the same price.
Speaker C: You get 20 for one. Workers are easy to come by, and.
Speaker A: We don't generally dabble in the limits. So this is interesting. What's in you guys new workers or come back for the women? You want to take one on this round?
Speaker B: Maybe we sleep on it and we'll let you know in the morning.
Speaker A: Would that be acceptable?
Speaker C: Sure. Yeah. He goes, yeah, if you're a Woman, you can tag them so no one else buys them. Or if you don't care, there'll be 10 here tomorrow.
Speaker A: It's just for the night. Then I would tag 2. Credit rating worth 11 from 1 from the. I guess it gets the 10 worth 1 and then 5 that are worth 1. You spent the lot. This is probably what we do.
Speaker C: Nobody here in the morning.
Speaker A: And it sounds like we probably want some of those. You thinking. You thinking dwarves? Oh, yeah, dwarves. I mean mine. They're going to be underground anyways most of the time, so.
Speaker C: Lot of 20 of them.
Speaker B: Right.
Speaker A: Sounds good. Pretty sure.
Speaker C: He does that like the crim. That's one out shotgun of the Phoenix. If not this campaign, one soon.
Speaker A: Yeah, we're going to blaze glory.
Speaker B: We could end. We could see.
Speaker C: Steve comes back, we're all dead.
Speaker B: Cash is ready.
Speaker D: Maybe after your. Should we get your sister?
Speaker A: If you take that one, we could just. Just get him alone. You can teleport him out.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: They'd be like, you're in our world now.
Speaker D: Make him mine.
Speaker B: Do we want to try to get him alone and capture. Force him to take us to Camp 14?
Speaker A: Force the blood mags to do anything without killing.
Speaker D: Sneak out.
Speaker C: Let's see you guys are back in your room.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: We'Re preparing to resist you.
Speaker C: No, Hollywood.
Speaker B: Ollie, how does blood magic work? Does he need his hands? What if I smash his hands?
Speaker C: She goes, they need blood, and that is all. Okay, well, they. They can use their own.
Speaker A: How close to the people have the blood.
Speaker C: If he can see you, he can use you for a battery.
Speaker A: So if he was in a room and somebody was in the next room, he couldn't use them.
Speaker C: You can't see.
Speaker A: What if you were alone with him? Would he be a match for you? If he has no blood bandage.
Speaker D: I.
Speaker C: Don'T want to find out.
Speaker A: Oh, I was just curious. Well, you know all this stuff.
Speaker C: She goes, I'm all for burning this fracking world to the ground. And this whole race of fracking Sicari, she just like, lets off like a string of expletives for just what they did to my own planet, let alone what they've done to the people they've conquered. I don't know if they're trying to.
Speaker A: Do to your planet. I'm not gonna say like. What I'm seeing here is I just. I love my sister, but she was mostly gone to me years ago. It's only been recently that I even know when she was around. I feel like we're putting so many people. You all Included in harm's way.
Speaker C: Let's go get your sister and then we can burn the planet down with Bella Song and Zendrix and the Sunset 5.
Speaker A: I don't know much of what you're talking about, but it sounds promising.
Speaker B: Cool.
Speaker A: But she's like.
Speaker C: And I want to study that elder, right? Because that doesn't exist on my planet.
Speaker A: All right, well how do we get to this camp then without getting sneak.
Speaker C: Out of the city? I don't know.
Speaker B: Put a bag on the blood mages, man. If you can't see us.
Speaker D: If it gets dark, we'll sneak out.
Speaker A: Can you.
Speaker B: I could create a distraction.
Speaker A: Yeah. Can you?
Speaker D: Dynamite. Always the D. Did you breathe until there's the light?
Speaker A: Oh yeah.
Speaker D: I just had it. Always the dynamite. I got Molotovs. We could burn them place.
Speaker C: Like so when you guys were like walking around the other day like there. There's guards but they're like not. You would get stopped if you just walked out the road. But there's no. There's nothing like stopping. It'd be like leaving Coeur d' Alene or whatever by the side. Yeah, yeah. There's no wall there. They don't. You. You get like they're. They don't care that you're. You're in the city and they just care that you like go out on the road. Like if you go out in the wilderness that it may not particularly care. Like so you guys can go sneak out. Like that's not going to be horses.
Speaker A: And then high tail. It wouldn't necessarily be a day.
Speaker B: How many adversaries do you think there are at camp?
Speaker C: 14.
Speaker B: Like how many guards you.
Speaker C: You. You actually know they're rough.
Speaker B: We take them or distract or cover.
Speaker A: I don't think there's any cover.
Speaker C: You know, there's. There's roughly so there's roughly like a thousand slaves at that camp and they're with about 200 guards. So I'll say in the west. You didn't see this last. This last session we actually did some. Finally did some like legit everyone combat. And most of the stuff you fight is gravel. And there's. You can spend a hero point and kill gravel equal to the damage you roll.
Speaker B: Oh, okay.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker C: So like so the. And everyone. You guys are more like. It's more Pulp Fiction slash. You're more heroes. You can be. So no you guys could probably actually.
Speaker D: I'm down boy.
Speaker C: You would get. You'd probably get beat up and hurting you guys. You may go down, but I wouldn't Surprise me if you actually. If even if it was all like fighting them all at the same time that you could probably, probably actually win people.
Speaker A: That's with blood mages, right?
Speaker C: I guess you would know that there is a sakari priestess does walk, like run the camp, which it's like 10 times worse than the blood hitch.
Speaker A: You came her out first of the buffalo. Yeah.
Speaker D: No, no. I don't see anyone stop a bullet yet.
Speaker C: That's true.
Speaker A: Look at Ollie. Can you put a hole in one of those?
Speaker C: He's like a priestess. They're powerful. I. We probably kill one if it's just a priestess and not a full sakari. Yeah. We got a good shot.
Speaker A: Y' all know from the campus of.
Speaker C: Like open pins that as it's like laid out in like hex. Like hexagons with like pens and then kind of like think like concentration. You can't. Like, it's like they're like wire. Like they're almostly like kept kind of like either in like hits or like separated pens. So you'd have to. And each section is like, just guarded by a small number of like. Like 10. It looks like like 10 days. And then the boot is like in charge of that pen.
Speaker A: I know if the shadow works and stuff how light vision.
Speaker C: They see better. Like, they see pretty fine and low light. It's not like dark dark here. And like as you've spent the day here, like the. It doesn't get brighter or lighter. It's like this consistent like twilight. It feels very similar to like the twilight wilds that you guys.
Speaker A: You can go see.
Speaker B: Let's go.
Speaker C: Yep.
Speaker A: I would be like, we're leaving that now because we're on the clock.
Speaker C: Yep.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: You've got about a day before they call us back out and said.
Speaker B: Which boy put a bag over his head?
Speaker D: I'm down from the bag. Can't see.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: Ollie goes. Yeah. But he has his own blood and magical sight is a thing. So I wouldn't. If you put a bag on his head, probably needs to have dynamite in it. Okay.
Speaker A: Like that's. She's got ideas.
Speaker C: Or just stuff the dynamite down his mouth so he can't talk. At least blow him up.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: All right.
Speaker A: That's it. I'm going to reviews that we're going out on the town.
Speaker C: No. Nobody's like paying attention to you really. Like some like.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: We just take side roads and the.
Speaker C: Guards, like, hardly even like as you like walk out, like, even as you get like deeper into the city, like towards the Outskirts and stuff. He's still fine. Like, there's still guards out there, but there's also still like, slaves being like, put to work and like industry here, where they're like forges and markets and stuff. Like, it is still a city, but, like, probably half the population is slaves and the other half is like soldiers and workers. So, like, nobody really pays attention to you. So, like, you can get to the outskirts and. And you probably dodge like one or two patrols and they would be have patrols around, like going around this outside of like the city, but there's no wall. They're not super concerned.
Speaker A: Let's do it. Let's.
Speaker B: All right. Yeah. Pop your horses.
Speaker C: Yep.
Speaker A: What the heck?
Speaker C: I'd say. Yeah. With the ring, since they give you that extra, like, bond communication with them. Yeah. You almost get like, the crap. Put me back in my. In my craft field.
Speaker A: I'd be like, okay, of course. Let's go.
Speaker D: Let's go. Chuckles.
Speaker C: Versus Chuckles. Yeah. So you guys set out. So do you guys just want to navigate or just one of you want to ride ahead to scout?
Speaker A: Probably wouldn't separate.
Speaker B: There's only two horses too.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: All right.
Speaker A: Now I have a night sight room. Would that actually help see farther ahead?
Speaker C: Yeah, I'd say that would give you like daylight vision while you're wearing that.
Speaker A: Yeah. So I'd put that on. So at least we can.
Speaker C: So you'd be going on the road. Yeah. You'd be on par with the works then as far as like sight.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: So I guess docs, you're probably needing this. So once you give me navigate role.
Speaker D: Oh, Yep.
Speaker C: Mind your agility. Plus applicable career if you got one. I'll say. Yeah.
Speaker A: Can I get a bonus back for my book knowledge? Because I do have sociology of Shadowlands.
Speaker C: Right. All right, I'm. Let's see. Nine plus. Yep. So the going is either slow or you encounter a danger, which we want.
Speaker A: Slow. We'd be avoiding things. I'm just thinking we would avoid encounter. Try not to draw attention.
Speaker C: So I'll say you get two thirds of the way there before you need to like, stop and arrest the horses and maybe even rest your guys selves because you've been traveling for like all day through the unknown terrain. So let's make camp and see what happens. So. Yeah, same thing. So my mindful. I have two.
Speaker A: I only one. I'm gonna reroll.
Speaker C: Calamitous failure.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: 12.
Speaker C: That would have been bad.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: In the.
Speaker C: In the wild, I guess you could earn a hero point. But you Might end up spending it to get out of whatever you found yourself at all.
Speaker D: Right.
Speaker C: Then you get. Yeah. So if you got. Okay. Yeah. So your rest time, since there is no actual day or night. So you guys sleep and night passes without incident. Your rest period. All right. Yep. So you guys are fresh. So give me one more navigate.
Speaker A: I'm gonna end up spinning hero points on this trip to get there.
Speaker C: That's what they're 4 11. Just enough.
Speaker A: Yep.
Speaker C: All right. Yeah. So you avoid any dangers or distractions. Yeah. You arrive.
Speaker A: So if we can arrive like at a higher point to be able to look down into the camp.
Speaker C: Yeah, that's whatever. Yeah, there's gonna be.
Speaker A: Because I want to be able to use. Yeah. And see if I can locate her with a spy glass.
Speaker C: Yeah. Why don't we. To. Yeah. Specifically locate your single priestess.
Speaker A: Yeah. We'll survey the whole camp. Yeah.
Speaker B: Any points of interest. Chip links barracks. Where There. It's the.
Speaker C: Yeah. I would say, like. Yeah. So as you're just looking at the structure of the place, you see like there's like a central, like hexagon places or that looks like there's like a barracks and then like a separate. And two other like, separate structures. The reason you know it's like a barracks because, like, as you watch this for like an hour or two, you see guards come and go from there. And then like outside of it, outside, I guess the camper, you see like the individual like hexagon camps or whatever. There's like some like cover slash housing in there for people. And you see like some orcs patrolling around the outside. And then you see these weird creatures. They're like. They're kind of like shaped like a gorilla, but would have like a bunch of eyes all over, like their body that kind of like glow like lanterns under their. And then their actual body is like covered in like these iridescent feathers. And you see like each like pen kind of has like one. And they're like standing like on like a block.
Speaker A: Security vehicles.
Speaker C: You don't. You're not sure what they're doing, but you can like see them occasionally, like doing gestures.
Speaker A: The creature.
Speaker C: Yeah. The gorilla things.
Speaker A: Would. I know what they are from the.
Speaker C: Beast here, give me a mind roll.
Speaker D: That's all we do.
Speaker C: Those are the creatures that compel the breeding.
Speaker B: What's the guards are.
Speaker C: They're like. Like bows are cross. Like they're medieval swords and bows or crossbows. Basically. Yeah. You guys like. And like all. I like you guys would know that you could. You could easily Break somebody out and, like, probably get away without a whole lot of issues. And, like, as long as the priestess doesn't get involved, they're not sure about, like, the breeders, what they're capable of. They might be kind of challenging depending on what kind of magic they do.
Speaker A: Okay. Other than that, I don't know much about what they do from the book.
Speaker C: Right.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker C: Give. If you. Yeah. For spotting the pen your sisters and give me. Yeah, you can give me. This is probably my plus. Probably just fine. And maybe a plus. I should just use this body and scope difficulty by step.
Speaker A: And then with my.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker A: With my employee, my sorcerer authority. What does that allow me to do? Like, is it because I haven't actually used my ability since the converted, so.
Speaker C: That makes it easier to gain less corruption is what it was. What it would be for. Since you haven't built a focus or anything. Yeah, you would.
Speaker A: That wouldn't help me locate it that much. Okay.
Speaker C: I mean, you could use that to, like, guarantee finding her. Oh, and you just rip. You're just taking corruption. I think you're.
Speaker A: I have three slots left.
Speaker C: Yeah. So you're probably almost guaranteed to mutate. Which is it?
Speaker A: A D6 or a D2, depending on.
Speaker C: How well you depend on how the effect and then how well you organize a minimum of a D3 just to keep it consistent with.
Speaker A: All right, Well, I think he would use it if he knew that would help locate the sister images. Mr.
Speaker C: But if you want to roll with the spy last. First before. Since you guys are all observing this. I mean, and if anyone else has this. I don't know if anyone else got a spy glass. No. Okay. Yeah. So let's say you probably do this first.
Speaker A: Just a line two dime roll.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker A: Put the difficulties down one.
Speaker C: Yeah. We'll reduce it with this by Glad. Yeah. As you're observing this. This place for a couple hours, you do spot your sister as she moves from, like, one building to another building.
Speaker A: She's not in a pen.
Speaker C: No, she's in a pen. Like, the pens themselves have some, like, small shelter structures.
Speaker A: Okay. I guess I'd be looking for the possibility of like, you know, could we pull up and use the box and just port her out over a wall? If she just happens to be in range of the space or like it.
Speaker C: It's fairly. And the camp is fairly large. But you wouldn't. You'd get spotted if you just rolled up. I mean, you're gonna get spotted approaching this. I'm trying to get her out because there are. There's roughly like.
Speaker A: And there's no darknesses.
Speaker C: Yeah, there's. There's roughly like 10 guards plus the breeder watching each pen.
Speaker B: Smash and grab. A hole in the wall and grab her then right away.
Speaker A: Yeah. We're gonna be quicker than them. Yeah. We got range and we can shoot them.
Speaker C: Yep.
Speaker A: There's also the possibility of just porting and just fighting for a minute.
Speaker B: Sounds good.
Speaker A: I don't. Because I don't know like how long running. How long we'd have to run until we lose them. Until we lose them.
Speaker B: There's this.
Speaker A: Make them think twice about approaching and then spend a minute. Thoughts?
Speaker B: Your porting power is honestly.
Speaker A: It takes a minute and we fade from one location to the other and then we then back up in the library where we've stashed the box, the source box. I mean it be sort of a smash and grab. But if we have people swinging axes at us while we do it, you have to wait a full minute for it to take effect. Then we might take some of them with us.
Speaker C: You control who goes. Yeah, good one.
Speaker A: I have to look at the device. I think you're right.
Speaker B: In that case, we might be able to get more than just your sister out too.
Speaker A: We would. There'd be anybody in I think 15.
Speaker C: Popping it up to 10 foot cube of stuff that is touching them and they want to teleport.
Speaker A: We all have to touch them.
Speaker C: Touching you. Yeah. Or we could just change it.
Speaker A: Just a temporary cube.
Speaker C: Yeah. I'll just say it's whatever I want to go. Yeah.
Speaker B: All right. So where's your sister? Let's pick a building nearby that we hold up in and just. They're not going to be able to, you know, blow it up or burn it down. They're going to have to come through the door. We just.
Speaker A: It's a fatal funnel and we just keep them at bay to negotiate until we're going.
Speaker B: Until we disappear.
Speaker A: It's not the worst planet in the world.
Speaker B: Yeah, I don't think so.
Speaker C: So, yeah, as you're channeling the. The cube, it does become more and more opaque around you as you're channeling it.
Speaker A: How big are the buildings?
Speaker C: They're. They'd probably be like store. They're basically like storage. They'd be equivalent to like a storage shed that you like for them to like just like sleep in. Okay. They're not. They're not huge, but they're bigger.
Speaker A: They're bigger than the cube that I'd be conjuring.
Speaker C: Not really similar in size, but they may Not.
Speaker A: Yeah, they may not notice it. Yeah.
Speaker C: Yeah. And it would be tight with everybody in there. Yeah, I'd say.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: You'd probably be able to see inside one. And, like, I think it's just like. It's like, probably like triple rack bunk beds and, like, with an aisle in the.
Speaker B: Well, then we can use the bunk beds to create more coma.
Speaker C: It doesn't help west, but kind of like the music camp, like how it was just like a square bunk, reds, with like a 10 by, like a 7 by 7 space in the open middle. Except there would be. I guess there would be, like, a table there. So. Yeah, that's very roughly, like, what it is.
Speaker A: So with the beds there, it probably gets a little bit bigger than my cube, which is good. Okay. I don't think it's a terrible plan.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker A: We just don't know what the weird observers are going to do.
Speaker C: But it's pretty much.
Speaker A: Pretty. That's true. If we do know, they compel does the same. Did I remember anything about how they compel?
Speaker C: It's magical compulsion. Compulsion.
Speaker A: So I think we'd have to kill that Jacques.
Speaker C: You think he was shooting easy.
Speaker D: We got that elephant standing up there. Is that in the open?
Speaker C: Yeah. So they're kind of like, structured like this. And my amazing art with the door there and then. Yeah, that's kind of like what the cat. Like, kind of what you've been able to get a rough estimate of inside through one of the doors.
Speaker A: So does her building have one of those things on top of it?
Speaker C: Like. Oh, the building she's in, like, have what, one of those monkeys? The breeder? No, the breeder is, like, up on, like, a kind of like an overwatch post so you can see, like, the whole camp.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker C: And then there's guards, like, along.
Speaker A: They're just one per camp, so we need to probably take that out as we ride in. They shoot it. That's target one. Everything else is. Yeah, a problem.
Speaker B: But we get the system stuff to get troll and hold out for one minute.
Speaker A: It's just a ring that I channel. You guys want to do this?
Speaker B: It's gonna be an open field around us.
Speaker A: Well, if you survive, I owe you just about everything.
Speaker B: I want to kind of come back.
Speaker A: And.
Speaker B: Kill some more of these guys. I didn't know I had such a strong moral compass until today.
Speaker A: I don't disagree. And obviously, if we're successful in this, I'll. I'll join you in that. It's the least I can do for you guys and for all These poor folks.
Speaker D: Get that Elder right and come back here.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker B: Now I have a reason. We really want the Elder.
Speaker A: I need to get some friends to help him. Sound always talking about.
Speaker B: Yeah, I don't know what any of that means.
Speaker A: Well, she seemed pretty happy about him, so that might be good. All right, so, yeah, just. We want to, like, charge down.
Speaker D: Yep, let's open.
Speaker A: I'd ask Ollie, like, could you give us magical cover for a time that they wouldn't see or hear us coming until we got closer? Well, that's not a bad idea if I want to take the bird out. We just don't want to kill any people.
Speaker C: She goes, I believe so.
Speaker A: Let me.
Speaker C: Let me see here. And then she starts. Actually, she's a rival, so she's gonna spend one of her 5.5hero points to reroll her. Snake eyes. Okay, that's better. Yep. So she starts her illusion drop. So she's back to, like, the green, like, flaming skeleton in a duster.
Speaker D: Yeah, bud.
Speaker B: So cool.
Speaker C: And then you guys all kind of like, shimmer, and she's like, all right, we're mostly invisible.
Speaker B: All right.
Speaker C: As long as I don't get. As long as we don't get hit by anything that break the illusion, we'll be all right.
Speaker B: How far from the first wall we can reach to that building?
Speaker A: Is it.
Speaker C: I'll say. It will take you like, a round of movement to get there.
Speaker B: So back or on foot?
Speaker C: On foot. So, like.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: So that's not bad.
Speaker C: Yeah, so I guess it's. The compounds aren't like, super huge, so like. Like, where you guys breach will be close enough that you'll be able to, like, run there in one turn.
Speaker A: So we got cloaked or.
Speaker B: Yeah, she clicked us a little bit.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker C: Mostly invisible. She. Yeah, she's like. As long as I. As long as we don't get the bubble that gets. Doesn't get pierced, we'll be able to get right on top of them pretty good.
Speaker A: Pierced by.
Speaker C: By stuff coming in or out.
Speaker A: Okay, so. So when you shoot, it's done.
Speaker C: So. Yeah, so hold your stuff till we're close.
Speaker A: So from a priority standpoint, everybody needs to kill that creature. Secondary would be, well, obviously, if the queen lady comes out, but we gotta. Whatever those gorilla guys are.
Speaker C: Yeah, but it's.
Speaker A: Kill the magical creature, get in the shed. I start channeling, and everybody absolutely murders anything.
Speaker C: If you guys want to get, I guess, a tan guy out for the breeder and then like, 10 blues for you, just dump them on the. On the table or Whatever. And those would just be the. The guards. The rabble that are gonna come attacking us. And you have a breeder. Yeah. Brown guy for the. Then brie. Oh. Beats you with this gun reader stick. Yeah. It's like Minecraft. Oh yeah. They said. Yeah. However they're kind of just all around so you won't. You only have to like engage with one or two. Right. Right off the rip. So what we'll do is as soon as you guys like fire, like initiate combat, will roll priority. And then after that we'll just do combat. And then when you start channeling, that'll be 10 rounds. 10 on it. 60 seconds. Like six second rounds. We'll just go with 10 rounds.
Speaker A: Can I take other actions while I'm channeling or are they gonna have to defend?
Speaker C: Actually, I think you. I'll just say you turn the thing on and as long you have to maintain contact with it.
Speaker A: Sure.
Speaker C: With one of your hands. So. Yeah. You could shoot your rub all or. Or whatever.
Speaker A: I could like do a rifle on you. I'm one handed dedicated to the thing.
Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah. To make sure it. Because you're like basically like keeping it going and communicating what goes with you that's in the box.
Speaker A: Like this. Yeah. That's what he's writing playing in your head.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: All right. Don't forget your D auto V6. As if we can.
Speaker C: Yeah. And hero points.
Speaker D: You'll be fine.
Speaker C: Yeah. You guys down to three. You guys should be totally fine for this.
Speaker A: All right. Driving the brigade. Let's go. Tip my hat. Thank you. Happy hunting.
Speaker B: Do this.
Speaker C: There.
Speaker A: You have them?
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Nice.
Speaker D: Let's go.
Speaker C: All right. Yeah. So you guys start galloping in as you get closer. What's. What's this order of operations? Because I'll say you guys. I guess he's.
Speaker A: I guess we kind of plan do the best shot. Yeah. You and Ollie probably taking out the.
Speaker D: What is the buffalo gun stance.
Speaker A: It was scaled though.
Speaker C: Yeah. I think it's. It's.
Speaker B: What is my poison plus 2D6 all day.
Speaker A: So that's.
Speaker C: Yeah. So if you applied it on your.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker C: Pickaxe.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: I will.
Speaker D: Put the gun oil on the buffalo gun.
Speaker C: Yeah. You could soup up your revolvers too. I'll just bend it on. Do that.
Speaker D: Let me. Buffalo gun. That's going to be the piston.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker A: Yeah. Because the buffalo gun requires reloads, right?
Speaker C: Yeah. It's single shot. Oh. So yeah. You reload on your next pack.
Speaker D: One shot with that pistol.
Speaker C: Yeah. That's D6 scale too. So.
Speaker D: And then Gun oil scales it up again.
Speaker C: Yes. It would bump it up to skill three. So you'd go up four on the damage track.
Speaker D: Stafood 6H.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker A: That's crazy. You both have one injury right now.
Speaker D: Yes.
Speaker C: You would actually have no heels because you've slept since.
Speaker A: No damage. Okay.
Speaker C: Yeah. You guys slept since the fight, so. Yeah, you guys. And you would have made sure you.
Speaker A: I give you each, though, an alchemist healing potion.
Speaker D: Okay.
Speaker A: Which is a one D3. If you drink it, you get a D3 instant. Like, with you.
Speaker C: Yeah. So, yeah. Tori, you're. You're going before steps against anything. That's lifeblood, obviously. That was.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: Which if it's not, I'll tell you scale one. Okay, so. So just roll that max damage unless I say otherwise.
Speaker D: It's 2D6 and you roll three. Three and you take the highest.
Speaker C: Yeah. Because it's two on six. H, yeah.
Speaker A: Brutal.
Speaker C: What did you have?
Speaker B: And then I have. I. I have a miner's helmet, don't I?
Speaker A: Like a candle.
Speaker B: All right. I like the candle just so it's lit. And then I got fuses on my dynamite so I can be ready. I got pickaxe in one hand and dynamite in the other.
Speaker C: Oh, yeah.
Speaker A: Cash money. Let's go.
Speaker C: Yeah, buddy.
Speaker A: That's gonna be sick.
Speaker D: All right.
Speaker C: Yeah. So you guys smacking your face and you're like, all right, G. Start sparking.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: What a way to go, though.
Speaker D: Be cool. It look cool.
Speaker B: I do really love it.
Speaker A: Oh.
Speaker C: All right, kick it off. Who is What? Yeah.
Speaker D: Shooting the breeder guy. He's out standing on.
Speaker C: Yeah, he's up on, like, a thing over watching.
Speaker A: And I would ask all you too. I guess in the plan that you would be a magical creature, I would assume it would help to have magical damage. Just. Just hammer it.
Speaker C: Okay.
Speaker D: That's range and agility.
Speaker C: Yep.
Speaker A: Do we all get, like, initial attacks?
Speaker D: Yes.
Speaker C: Yeah. You guys all. You all do your initial round run. So whatever you. Whatever you want to do for that. And then we'll roll priority big 15. Yeah.
Speaker A: With the elephant, then.
Speaker C: No, that's just the Hit the breed area or the.
Speaker A: Yeah, the big one. Buffalo.
Speaker D: The eight points of damage.
Speaker C: Describe this. I have to shoot him in the.
Speaker D: Face, like, as I'm riding up. And it's human.
Speaker C: Yeah. So I. So, like, I see jock like you. You're, like, on the saddle. Like, I don't know if you guys have seen people when they're galloping. They ride so good. They're, like, not moving.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: You just see jock like that feel rifle. Boom. And then you just see that thing's head. Yeah, you just see that thing's head explode and gone. And then it drops. And then you see the orcs, like, look around, start shouting. Then your. Your bubble is shattered. So you guys are. And then like. Well, actually, one hasn't spotted you yet.
Speaker D: Just looking in a holster and draw his pistols.
Speaker C: All right, so. Yeah. So, jock of yawn.
Speaker A: So we get our.
Speaker C: Yeah, you guys get your initial.
Speaker B: I'll throw on dynamite. I might want to throw in a group of forks or whatever.
Speaker D: And also.
Speaker C: And to blow the fence up, right? Oh, yeah, yeah.
Speaker A: I have to dominate the dynamite.
Speaker C: Yeah. Okay, so let's. All right, I'll say you're gonna. You'll hit. You'll likely hit two orcs as they're, like, rushing towards this. They see you. So, yeah, range and. Yeah, agility. Range to chuck that dynamite.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker B: Ranged and agility. And I have fist full of dynamite, which gives me a bonus die for everything.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker B: So take the best two. So that's 10, 11, 12, easy.
Speaker C: And then what's the damage on that?
Speaker A: I have no idea.
Speaker C: A lot.
Speaker D: It's probably 20.
Speaker C: Let's see. Dynamite 2. No, it's D6H plus 2 out to a distance of 10 yards. Oh. So.
Speaker B: I don't know if that's a minimum safe distance.
Speaker C: I'll say you like what Good throw there. You would know. And you. You only need nine or better. And you had what, 13 or something like. Yeah. Oh, that's eat. Like, you chuck that, Dan. You're, you know, dynamite, so you chuck that. I'll say, like. We'll say. Yeah. Then what. What happened? So, like. Right. What happened is you. You, like, chuck this dynamite out there. Jacques fires. That guy's head exploded. Yeah. It lands, blows a hole up and blows a hole in the wall. Fence splats. Two orcs. He knock out two blues. I guess then tan man's gone too. Good. And then. And now I have one of my.
Speaker A: Revolvers out, and I like, fan it at whatever is standing as we're going to the door.
Speaker C: All right. Yep. So you can fan it so nice. Minus 2 on the fan if you want a fan. Are you just gonna shoot or. Oh, so you're hitting the ground and running for the. So sorry. This is like if you're riding up. So I don't know, are you single shot at a guy or are you.
Speaker A: I guess if I can only single.
Speaker C: Shot if you have a rifle instead dropped off the horse. Because if you'd Be.
Speaker A: I don't know, timing wise. Because of the actual.
Speaker C: Yeah. If you want to wait till you're close enough to fan somebody down or just do a single shot at somebody.
Speaker A: I guess I could Single shot.
Speaker C: Because if you do fan, you're going to be empty. So your next round, I have two villains. Okay. Or. Yeah. Okay.
Speaker A: I'm gonna use the PRE6 to get a hit on this, which I'll make it a 13.
Speaker C: Okay.
Speaker A: And then it's.
Speaker C: Spin it.
Speaker A: This is my sister. There we go. Kill more people.
Speaker C: I'm going another adventure kills three. Oh, you went for rabble Slayer.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: So if you spent. If you wanted to. So you would spend the point to make it mighty success. So whatever your damage was, you wouldn't reroll your damage if you wanted to spend the year. Or was that your rerolling your damage?
Speaker A: Oh, well, in that case.
Speaker C: So you probably.
Speaker A: In that case, I would spend it to make it a mighty success. And then I would actually use my D6 to make it six. Damage.
Speaker C: Was your initial role of success.
Speaker A: It would have been a success. Just not as high.
Speaker C: Okay. Yeah. Okay. That's fine. Yep. So, yeah, low down three would have been nine docks on fire. So though it took six total out. Yep. So there's two orcs left in there. Are actually breaking and running.
Speaker A: That makes sense.
Speaker C: Shocking off, actually. Let's see.
Speaker A: They pulled that pistol in and pull the other pistol out on my John Ringan.
Speaker C: He's Ollie. Almost critted.
Speaker B: Yeah. Give him Ollie.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker C: Ollie. Yeah. You see a. A green like Fireball. Her hand N is a success, though, right? Yes.
Speaker D: Okay.
Speaker C: And catches.
Speaker A: I was getting Dungeon world. Had to get 10 bucks.
Speaker C: Oh, she's D6. I.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker C: Yep. And she blows one of the guys that's running away. So one guy was running off. All right. So, yeah, you guys hit the ground. You hit the whole let's roll priority as you're arriving. That's the mine plus initiative. Yeah.
Speaker A: Oh, damn.
Speaker B: What happens when I roll two sixes?
Speaker C: It's a mighty success. So you. I'm not sure if there's.
Speaker A: Combat advantage. Yeah.
Speaker B: I don't know if there's anything for initiatives.
Speaker A: Well, in combat advantage is you gain a bonus die. If you attack them next combat round. They suffer a penalty die against you on their next attack.
Speaker C: Yep. There we go.
Speaker A: Okay. Or mighty advantage. You did something that provides you with a temporary advantage. Gina bonus die in your next role involving this advantage.
Speaker B: Three.
Speaker A: I don't know. Yeah. I don't know what initiative roles at that time.
Speaker C: I I'll say we get a mighty advantage and you guys will have two rounds of nobody.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker C: I like it because, like, that's just massive shock and awe. That guy's running the crap away. The camp doesn't know. Yeah, that dude's gone. Like, he's booking it. 2. The last two guys were booking it for to go get help because massive explosion just went off and then all these dudes just dropped down, died from loud noises. Oh, yeah. So you guys. Yeah, so we'll just say yeah. Yeah, so we'll have two rounds. So, yeah, you guys have two rounds to do whatever you want before people show up. I'd go find people show up.
Speaker A: Well, I was like, we have to get in the door and get out of here.
Speaker B: Start channeling it.
Speaker C: I was gonna say he has to start channeling it. So. But you guys only a minute.
Speaker B: You grab your assistant.
Speaker A: But it's only a minute. I need you guys to be with.
Speaker D: Me because if you're Jalali bank, don't worry about it.
Speaker A: It's going to be a minute. If I pour it out, I can't.
Speaker B: Come back and tell that glory.
Speaker D: Yeah, I'll be back.
Speaker B: All right.
Speaker A: Can you count? Because when I go in the door, I'm gonna start channeling this.
Speaker D: Yep. All right, I'll be back.
Speaker A: So, yeah, I go in the door.
Speaker C: All right. Yeah, so you. So, so what do you. So I guess first round, what do you guys do?
Speaker A: I go to the door.
Speaker D: Yeah. I'd wait. I'd make sure they get in.
Speaker B: I. I'm gonna go the most likely avenues and approaches because it is a prison. So there's like pretty clear corridors. I'm just gonna go start planting dynamite.
Speaker C: Yeah, I'll say there is. I'll say there is, like back here. Like, that's like, to get in the pen.
Speaker A: Sure.
Speaker C: There is like maybe like three, like, gate. So you have like the hole you guys blew open.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: On the front over here, and then behind, like, the cabin is like the actual entrance into this head. I'll say it's probably like con, like stone work or whatever. So you guys just blew a hole in the stonework that's with like top twist, like barbed wire type fencing.
Speaker A: Oh, yeah.
Speaker B: I'm just gonna go plant dynamite, start spooling it out so I can detonate what I want.
Speaker D: Put my horseback in my ring.
Speaker C: Yeah. All right. Yeah. So you guys dismount. Ollie goes with Doc to provide.
Speaker D: Make sure Doc find assistance.
Speaker A: Let me track her to this room.
Speaker C: So, yeah, she hasn't Left it. So you. When you get in there, there's also 10 other people in there.
Speaker A: Nice. Okay. Like stick on her rescue. I just say roll it out loud. I realized I never named.
Speaker C: I was gonna say. I think it's like.
Speaker B: This stuck.
Speaker C: I think I might have gave her his name. If you did.
Speaker D: She has one.
Speaker A: But.
Speaker C: Yeah. Let me get your feet up there. I didn't.
Speaker D: Dark sister.
Speaker A: Yeah. Rolling and roll.
Speaker C: So you'd probably get. She'd probably. She'd spin around and probably. It's been what, years?
Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, it's been.
Speaker C: Yeah. She would probably like double take. Like.
Speaker A: I'm like, I have friends. Get close. Trust me. And then I said. I said this is my friend here, so don't worry if you see anything strange.
Speaker C: I said, Ollie is. Is a. Is like a skeleton with green like flames kind of like breathing her. And then she's got like a duster and cowboy hat and be like, this is a friend. And you and you trust me and.
Speaker A: You can trust her. Like, get close says it's going to be strange. Oh, we're getting you out of here.
Speaker C: Everyone in there, even your sister, like, she's in shock. And they're like all kind of like cowering. Like they've all like moved into the back corner.
Speaker A: I just moved towards them a little bit. I mean, they're going to be in my ten foot.
Speaker C: Yeah. Yes. Yeah. Basically that whole. Basically the whole cabin is pretty close.
Speaker A: And then start going.
Speaker C: All right. Yeah, so. So we'll have.
Speaker A: I'll be like, stay here.
Speaker C: And then.
Speaker A: And of course with Ollie probably in front of us or the two of us in front.
Speaker C: They're not going to go past Ollie, I guess. Do you, Wes, do you need. Does anyone need to go. It is nine o' clock. Okay, so you guys are good to finish this. All right, let's do it. I mean, it shouldn't.
Speaker B: 10 rounds.
Speaker C: Yeah, it shouldn't take very long. All right, so yeah, so we got.
Speaker A: Reload my other revolver log. Waiting for the.
Speaker C: All right. Yeah, so we got the. Yeah, so. All right. So yeah, so that'll be the two rounds. So we're at one round of channeling. So what, is Doc and Cash or not, Dot? Doc is sitting in his house. Jock and Cash, what are you guys doing? Let's say this is round three.
Speaker D: I'm just yelling here, piggy, piggy, piggy.
Speaker A: I'm in the house. Just laughing like that's one of my friends.
Speaker C: Oh, okay.
Speaker B: I. I'll. I'll. At this point, I've spooled. My dynamite back to the. Probably in the house.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker B: So like. And then I'm just like pulling out the table and like setting up a barricade.
Speaker D: He's like full on. Just murder. Like here come.
Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
Speaker C: Dinner.
Speaker A: As long as it's not going to hurt the building.
Speaker B: No.
Speaker C: Okay.
Speaker B: It's way out there.
Speaker C: I was gonna say. Yeah. Cash knows what he's doing.
Speaker D: Cash has all his fingers. Jock fingers. He knows what he's doing.
Speaker B: Oh, I set a couple more next to me so I can quick throw.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: This is gonna be raining dynamite. I got. I brought 25 sticks.
Speaker C: I forgot you had bought a box. That's crazy.
Speaker A: It's just like.
Speaker B: It's incredibly hazardous shot there. It's over.
Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
Speaker D: Insurance jock smokes all the time too.
Speaker A: Yeah. It's like. Like a natural. Oh my gosh.
Speaker D: Do it as a joke.
Speaker C: Watch out. Okay.
Speaker D: Just waiting.
Speaker A: We need to get you a rifle that has like an under. Period dynamite launcher when you get your stuff up.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Makes a little noise.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Amazing.
Speaker C: Yeah. So, Jacques, you see a squad of like two lieutenants and 40 guys rushing like down the. Rushing towards the gate. It was the one like I guess starting like. Yeah, he's rushing towards the gate.
Speaker D: Yeah. I got my targets. When. Two pistons, double fives.
Speaker B: Nice.
Speaker C: Yeah. Let's say that day 16.
Speaker B: That's my friend John.
Speaker D: And then with my pistols, it's D6 high because of the oil.
Speaker C: Yup.
Speaker D: Oh, and then it's 2d6.
Speaker A: For that trash.
Speaker D: 8 points of damage with the pistol. And I'll do a hero point.
Speaker B: All right. 7% killing all.
Speaker A: You like shoot through a guy and kill another guy.
Speaker C: All right, so. Yeah. So you just. Yeah. So there's 32 of them left. And then do you move or you hold? Because there they'll be up. Well, actually, most of them don't have any ignition.
Speaker D: I actually would have been up by Cash's dynamite.
Speaker C: If you guys want to put yourselves with either dice or your other figures here. Just so like a rough.
Speaker D: Yeah, I would have been.
Speaker A: Looks like a pipe that you're blowing.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker A: I love it.
Speaker D: Yeah. Cuz we're watching down this way or that.
Speaker C: That they square as the gate where they're coming in and kind of like. So I guess you would have been like standing there just waiting for Being.
Speaker D: Like, here, piggy, piggy. You know, because.
Speaker C: Yeah, the. The fence is. It's like stone like four feet up and then fence.
Speaker D: And then I would be walking like luring them into the dynamite.
Speaker C: And then. Yeah. You dusted them and then run away?
Speaker D: Yep.
Speaker C: Okay.
Speaker D: And I just wait outside the dynamite again. All right.
Speaker C: And then a cash. You want to do anything or are you just holding?
Speaker B: I'll hold until they get right in my kill zone.
Speaker C: You want put a hole in the building the back so you can see.
Speaker B: Oh, yeah, probably.
Speaker C: Okay. Easily enough. Done with your pickaxe a little.
Speaker A: You're inside with us right now.
Speaker B: Yes.
Speaker C: Okay. And then I said. That's right. There was 10 people in there with you.
Speaker D: We're on round four.
Speaker C: This is round three.
Speaker D: Round three.
Speaker C: Yeah. So you guys went. So they come. Yeah, they just come. This group comes rushing, like rushing up. And they start un. Unhooking the fence.
Speaker A: Oh.
Speaker C: Like not defending the gate. Like so. So both squads are like stacked up on the gate. Ready. Yeah. To go. So, yeah, they're undoing. So the front will be. They spend their action and movement getting to the gate and undoing it. So now we're.
Speaker B: Or.
Speaker C: All right, you guys are up.
Speaker B: So they're right up on the gate.
Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker B: All right, I'll hit it.
Speaker D: I probably would. Just went here then to get around.
Speaker A: The corner and out of the blast.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker C: Noise zone.
Speaker A: Don't get trouble.
Speaker C: Yeah. Okay. So that's going to.
Speaker D: Okay, you have the plunge. Awesome.
Speaker C: That's true. Is it a fuse or is it like. Or do you actually have one?
Speaker B: I didn't write any.
Speaker D: Cool.
Speaker B: If it was a little electric.
Speaker C: Yeah. The current that goes through that makes it 25 sticks.
Speaker B: It comes with it.
Speaker C: Okay. Yeah. It's a. You have a. You have the one that generates the. So it's fast because otherwise it'll be a turn. Yeah. So that just goes off. How many dynamites did you have attached to that?
Speaker B: I put 10 out there.
Speaker D: There's a crater now.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: Well, roll your 10D 6H. Which is. Yeah, I guess it really would just still be D6H plus 2.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: Roll that up. We'll just like Times that by 10. No.
Speaker A: Well, some people would take only damage from like 3st or whatever.
Speaker B: So six plus two is seven damage.
Speaker A: Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Speaker D: Or you could use your one die extra six days.
Speaker C: You haven't yet. No, that. Honestly, you wouldn't. You wouldn't need to because this is. These are just toughs and rabbles.
Speaker D: Missed them.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: So was it 10 yards?
Speaker D: Can I use my weird power and summon a gunship C130?
Speaker C: Well, actually. And I'll just say that whole. They're just gone. You just.
Speaker A: You.
Speaker C: You explode. And as you're Looking through the hole in Jock, you just see this massive explosion. Then you just see smoking red. And then you kind of hear like as it's starting to like some blood.
Speaker A: Once that goes off I go, that's my other friend.
Speaker C: Oh, he's in.
Speaker A: Yeah. You come in.
Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. So yeah, that's gone. The. There's no more. You like blew up like the fence. The. Yeah, the fence is exploded so that it's like twice as wide now. But yeah. So we're around. So we'll say that was four, five. Yet nothing shows up. Six, nothing.
Speaker D: I'd just be sitting by the house waiting.
Speaker C: Technically seven nothing.
Speaker A: You have to see the okay, because.
Speaker C: These are six seconds. I'll say. Yeah, we get all the way to 10.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: Be like before you get to this. Yeah. So I will say as like cash as you're like looking through your hole or may even Jock as you start booking, booking it around to get in the cabin, you do see like a seven foot tall. Oh, very light female with like eight like spider legs. Like up on these spider legs rushing. They're like carrying her. So kind of think like Kerrigan from Starcraft, except they got her. But these are like 3 meter legs. So she's actually like up on these rushing on these like nasty spike lace, like in black carpets. And you see like six, like eyes, like I said. Yeah. If you want to take a shot at her as you're booking around the corner.
Speaker D: Yeah. Feed 16 to hit.
Speaker C: Yeah, that's gonna hit.
Speaker A: She's still pretty far away though.
Speaker C: You guys will get out just in time is what's happening. Oh yeah.
Speaker D: So I did 12 points of damage on that one.
Speaker A: Dang.
Speaker D: All right, Max damage.
Speaker C: So what do you need you to step your damage. So it's just normal damage for your.
Speaker A: Oh, because it's a large.
Speaker D: Okay.
Speaker C: Oh, it's a scale.
Speaker D: It.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker D: Whole damage. Well, double six is on the dam.
Speaker C: Oh, wow. Yeah.
Speaker D: That doesn't exploit, does it?
Speaker C: No.
Speaker D: That was from my double pistols.
Speaker C: 12 damage and then I spent a.
Speaker D: Coin to do carnage, which if you immediately make another attack against the same or different target.
Speaker C: Yeah, you're hyper. Yeah. So go ahead and just roll the. Roll your damage again.
Speaker D: Only five.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker A: So you 17 damage that thing though.
Speaker C: You see the.
Speaker B: No, you see like.
Speaker C: No, you see them. Like it. Like your second shot just deflects off, but the first one does hit her and you see her like, like wins a little bit, but doesn't slow down. Then you start seeing like this nasty like dark red blood, like Globule like start forming your hand. And then you hear like this awful like scream. And you guys start hearing it too. And then all you start hearing. Ollie starts cussing like horribly as your. As their cube goes opaque. And then.
Speaker D: Yeah. When Jock would have said samicoma says hello. I couldn't have said that.
Speaker C: And Yep. And then.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: And then with like a weird like you kind of feel yourselves compressed.
Speaker B: And.
Speaker C: You find yourself in the very top of the library. And that is where we're going to end. All the people you rescue just died.
Speaker B: Everyone dies in this library.
Speaker D: Oh, dang. Yeah, the dynamite gets planned.
Speaker A: I totally forgot you had like a whole box.
Speaker D: I didn't know it.
Speaker B: I need to get more dynamite. That's the first time I've had it. Have it all in the library. Yeah.
Speaker C: We're in trouble. Oh, it's a church.
Speaker B: Why are all these monsters? I know.
Speaker A: We're honestly in the safest place.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: In Sapicola probably.
Speaker C: I was gonna say now you know what you're fighting though.
Speaker A: Yeah. And you know how good your guns are against it. Because one of those shots deflected out with a five damage.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker C: Did we learn something new and important about the.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: RP1?
Speaker C: Did we overcome a notable monster enemy? I think so.
Speaker A: Yeah. I think so.
Speaker D: All the guys. And we almost found out what that thing does.
Speaker C: And the breeder thing. Yeah.
Speaker D: It's just gone.
Speaker B: That was exactly what I wanted. Very satisfying.
Speaker C: That was awesome.
Speaker A: And the first shot with the buffalo gun.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: Did we loot memorable treasure? False cyst.
Speaker C: Now it makes company in there. But yeah.
Speaker A: You guys want to say that's treasure?
Speaker C: I will. I will say it is treasure. And you will find out next time.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker D: And the starter farm boy.
Speaker A: Definitely loyal.
Speaker D: Yeah. They can help.
Speaker C: Oh then yeah. You guys get bonus point first.
Speaker D: We'll play.
Speaker C: That was excellent. Any low lights or highlights?
Speaker D: Jock didn't get kill enough.
Speaker B: I feel like we gotta go back.
Speaker D: That's Jock. He was really gonna stay if they were all there. He's gonna fight his way out. All the way back to the portal. I didn't care.
Speaker A: Coming back.
Speaker C: So you got a mission now for.
Speaker D: He's got weird powers.
Speaker A: It sounds like with Ollie we might be able to call in some reinforcements. Not to mention upgrade our own stuff. Get some alternate going.
Speaker C: Yep. Got any new long term goals?
Speaker A: Forgot to get dwarves.
Speaker B: That would have been cool actually.
Speaker A: Hey, come on.
Speaker B: You want to go mine?
Speaker A: Yeah. You can mine as much as you want.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker B: Long term goal. I think we do want to go back and destroy that portal one way or another. Honestly.
Speaker C: Y. Oh.
Speaker D: I think we have to now do I?
Speaker B: And that that could be the culminating thing of the entire yeah.
Speaker D: SAA I think so.
Speaker C: That sounds really good.
Speaker B: We build our arsenal. We gather our allies and we roll in and yeah.
Speaker D: That sounds good.
Speaker B: That's kind of our goal now.
Speaker C: Cool. Just plans for next session.
Speaker A: Let's see a check on everyone's condition because we don't know the state of yeah. The people that we brought back. Were they all women?
Speaker C: No. It makes company.
Speaker A: Okay. Well maybe there's some dwarves in there.
Speaker B: Maybe some brave dwarves.
Speaker A: They're like we want you to mine now.
Speaker D: They're like what?
Speaker C: What?
Speaker D: Their hands are too soft.
Speaker A: Man. We got dainty dwarves. Like really.
Speaker B: It's more of a gnome than a dwarf.
Speaker C: Really heavy note.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: No.
Speaker A: I think then talk to the what's the library guy.
Speaker D: Yep.
Speaker C: Anton.
Speaker A: Anton. Figure out how we're getting out.
Speaker D: It might be going on to or Z. I I I thought so too. After this.
Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker B: I mean aftermath of whatever we just.
Speaker C: Did and then Yeah.
Speaker B: I think we missed our main progress for that.
Speaker A: Yeah. Cuz we're going to have to find out where to put these people out. There's 10 that we just rested. We got to put them up somewhere.
Speaker D: So Jock has a plan. That town we started in with.
Speaker C: Oh I don't remember who lived there. Well he didn't live there. He just owns it. So work.
Speaker D: Jock was thinking about taking that over and turning that into.
Speaker A: I don't think we would stop you.
Speaker D: Because that place kind of sucked.
Speaker C: Yeah. It was like a semi slave camp. Plus Ramsay was there and Giggles was there. Oh yeah.
Speaker A: Yeah. Ramsey's will back us.
Speaker C: Yeah that's true. Yeah.
Speaker D: And then that's connected to the vine because we're going to need a town.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: That's a great idea.
Speaker D: And that would be where we could take people and start building our Start.
Speaker A: Your saloon and retire.
Speaker C: Let's say one year. This is in Ragged Bend. So if I zoom out. This is where one of our coyote games this is Vicious Creek. Okay. I guess your guys it's a raggedy thing. Yeah. There is a known elder right find here now then I guess you guys would have learned that in the library. So that's one of your places. And then wherever else. But yeah. So that that's there but no. Yeah. Yeah. Totally. Taking out Brave Lanya would be sick. Turn that to your home base.
Speaker D: Yep.
Speaker C: Then we have the mine all the way down here. This is where we originally started okay. And this was their very first place. They had to go to Black Rock. Black Rock Gold mine.
Speaker D: Ancient.
Speaker A: So how far is the mine from.
Speaker C: Braves Landing a day?
Speaker A: It's not bad at all.
Speaker C: No. Yep. And then you guys will be going to Nightmore again. Is that on here? Yeah, this here.
Speaker D: That's the house that moves.
Speaker C: Yes, there. And there is. There is an obelisk there.
Speaker A: By the way, Doc is buying replacement dynamite.
Speaker D: That's open.
Speaker C: Yeah, of course. That's why it's like. It's like 10 sticks like strewn out there. Yeah, they're third dead. They're all just dead.
Speaker A: Unrecognizable.
Speaker C: There's no dental records here.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: No. Then I was like, well, this is only 6 second round, so there's like no way they might have a response reforming after they all just got. Yeah, it's like. No, that would definitely bring out the boss lady.
Speaker A: Well, you definitely caused a distraction. Distraction in the middle of the fight. That's amazing.
Speaker C: That was awesome.
Speaker D: Good stuff. Yeah, that was fun.
Speaker A: Steve has to listen to this.
Speaker C: Violence.
Speaker B: Violence does solve problems.
Speaker A: Mass violence.
Speaker C: No, I'll. I'll message it. Should listen to this at least the last hour for sure. Yeah. Get a shot. Yeah.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker D: All things here.
Speaker A: Thank you.
Speaker B: Yeah, Our pleasure. That was fun.
Speaker C: Thank you.
Speaker A: And RP next. Oh, my.
Speaker C: Start making some wild elderite stuff.
Speaker B: Yeah, I want to be like elderite skin or something.
Speaker A: Now you. Now you don't even have to let go of the dynamite.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker A: Just run in the middle.
Speaker B: Repeat, suicide.
Speaker A: Explosion.
Speaker B: I cast fireball. And I just brought it.
Speaker A: Oh, my gosh.
Speaker C: Good rolls too. And get there without any complication.
Speaker A: I will say that when we tilt.
