Launched from Cattlefort Pax and Spades look over the battlefield Morgue picks up the trial and gets a good idea of the enemy count. Posse finds the captured soldiers and the two enemy squads moving them.
Fly off, land, and make the assault plan.
Pax flashbangs the front group of enemies
Morgue lassos the front squad leader around the neck, roped tied to Ziggy’s saddle horn. Morgue drops to the ground as Ziggy carries off the lassoed guy.
Morgue gives the release command to the rope and the guy falls to his death.
Spades jumps off Psyche, gold wings flaring to slow his fall, flashbangs the second enemy squad as he hits the ground drawing his two handed gold flaming sword, shouting, “Prepare for judgement”. The squad leader is pulled from his horse and slain.
Pax zooms in; Jitters, bites the head off one while Pax shoots the other.
Morgue shoots one and Ziggy carries off the last one for a snack before dropping them.
The critter scouting squad comes back
Morgue hops back on Ziggy
Spades kills the rest of the guard squad and half the critter scouts
Morgue does a strafing run, fanning his revolver, kill the rest of critter scouts, but not before they killed one of the prisoners.

Spade’s charges, and immediately kills one squad leader and his horse in one swing. Turns and rips the second off their horse onto his waiting blade.
Pax, blesses the rescued soldiers with accuracy, the enemy soldiers fire, screaming hell-cartridges at Spades, the rescued fire but all miss. Spades, but Mithras protected.

THE END
Speaker A: Popular.
Speaker B: Let's see that. Some like smoke coming out from under the door.
Speaker A: Turn. A fog machine. Yes.
Speaker C: I was kind of wondering how will a fog machine have work in this heat?
Speaker A: Or I guess do you have like just get a bucket of bed of, of like water and then drop some dry ice.
Speaker D: Starts bubbling open, open the door to answer. Oh, perfect timing.
Speaker C: How did he know tonight was the full moon?
Speaker A: It's like the oracle was correct.
Speaker B: And on sacrifice night, no less.
Speaker D: If you'll just go, oh.
Speaker C: Maybe you don't need new windows for Madison.
Speaker D: Windows is the worst. The bugs guys are just fun saying, oh, we like the bugs. And they're like, what?
Speaker A: Don't bother me.
Speaker B: Find the bug guy. 20 minutes later.
Speaker D: Putting bugs out at your house. It's a good one.
Speaker A: No, that was one. I swear. It felt like Eddie came by and.
Speaker D: Like seemed like carpenter ants and there's.
Speaker A: Like a few around and it's like.
Speaker D: For like three weeks he'd like find one like once a week in the house. And it's like, all right, before you want like cameras. No, he's got like a pocket full of them.
Speaker C: Yeah, I was going to say pat him down. That's an interesting value.
Speaker D: Walks around, just empty him out that way. My next character.
Speaker A: Yeah, I was going to say. Yeah. You guys got seats that kind of like got your character name. The little piece of paper is your emerald darter. And then yeah, then your character sheet would ruffle and you can like adjust like however you want to talk or whatever.
Speaker C: But yeah, I'm not sure if I can do squeaky.
Speaker D: I can't do notions.
Speaker A: Oh. And then, yeah, then your boons and laws and your gear all on that sheet. And then your actual stats are on the character sheet. And then those are rough. Kind of like give you an idea.
Speaker D: Of what hel riders look like.
Speaker A: And their outfits. And those are based off your guys character description. So we kind of find. So yeah, so all, all the pel riders you get your standard uniform that's just like pure white with the gold trim. It never gets dirty.
Speaker D: Doesn't matter what you're happy, man.
Speaker A: It always stays clean. Wow. Oh. Then you have your gold belt buckle of mithras which has like provides protection on the phone, pretty much everything. So you guys essentially have V6 armor and then another. Then you have a heavy revolver. So D6H doesn't consume ammo. It's like bound to l. It's bound to you. So kind of like. So you'd actually have to like pass it on or perform rights for someone else to operate it. You all have a silver bowie knife which is the D6L plus strength, but I don't think anyone else has strength, but thanks guy. And then you have a lasso that you can untie when you want to. And each of you guys have some specialized gear based off of what you picked. So like next guy's got a gold saber of mithris. That's a D6 plus strength and it's scale too. And then Steve and Paul, you guys have spy glasses. Blessed spy glasses. And then Steve and Nick have Codex of Mithra. Since you guys are in the Mithras powers, nobody went range, so no one has the blessed buffalo rifle. Yeah, that's. I think that's all your guys's specialized gear.
Speaker D: Can you say like what we want to use the spell for?
Speaker A: Yes. So I was gonna get to that too. And you guys, all your magic is faith based, just using the rough kind of like the way so you can. You have to have a face point to cast it. So to just cast anything period. So I think steam's got the most of like four.
Speaker C: Is that preacher?
Speaker A: Yeah, it came from Creature basically. Yeah. Yeah. The preacher is the closest thing or what hell writers. Without making like a specific background.
Speaker C: I was trying to remember a preacher had the healing. Actually no, theirs is more of a generic because of the faith.
Speaker A: And then. Yeah. So you guys. So when you want to cast something, you can either roll and it based on like, I guess the magnitude of what you want will be the difficulty single target or you just straight up spend a face point and it happens. Rolling is you're just taking time to cast it. Either do or you don't. And then if you want to spend a faith point, you can make the effect hit multiple six other targets, then refills after sleeping and then all of Mithras's powers or it'll be anything associated with light, sun, skill, healing and tool. So fairly quite broad. But in that domain. Let's see.
Speaker B: I think.
Speaker A: That'S basically how I think.
Speaker C: I know they're upside down slightly backwards, but that looks a lot like shock.
Speaker D: Kind of does.
Speaker A: That's the. That's what Nick's. That's kind of like what Nick's guy actually looks like. And then you. You guys can like if you want to read your description. So you guys know it because I I.
Speaker B: So this is probably you.
Speaker A: Yes. Roughly down. Yeah.
Speaker B: I'm Bert Olson.
Speaker D: Morg.
Speaker B: That's a good sign.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: He's only 4 foot 7, 20 years old, Asian Skin and bones, narrow face. I don't know if I can do the German accent, whatever. That would fall back and forth probably.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: And then I did forget that.
Speaker D: Morg.
Speaker A: Has silvered spear spurs because he went mounted.
Speaker B: Oh, I just won't squat while I'm using them.
Speaker A: They're blessed according to.
Speaker C: So you can spot with them.
Speaker B: That's a special skill.
Speaker A: They retract.
Speaker D: Yeah, they retract.
Speaker A: They don't jingle. You don't get the cool. They're just quiet. Yeah, I guess. Steve to introduce you guy.
Speaker C: Character'S name is Pax. Pale ratted PAX. He's about 5 11, 35 years old, Pacific Islander. He has an average body, dynamic face and chestnut brown eyes, shoulder length hair that waves light brown in the breeze. His speech and they said I don't think I can pull us. Yeah, precise Canadians. So be ready for a little bit of strange movie. There's a sporting, unchanging and insincere personality which will probably come off as a lot of sarcasm. But his first impression is tense, symbiotic. I really want to shoot you, but once I get to know you, maybe you'll know.
Speaker D: My guy is spades. He's very tall at 6 8. He's an adult 38. He's African with average body and rectangle face with emerald eyes. Hair is slicked back, dark brown. Speech is booming in bass. His personality is tasteful, progressive and malicious. I guess he has a Russian accent. This first impression is trending.
Speaker C: You know, fashion.
Speaker D: Yeah, apparently.
Speaker A: Yeah. Okay, so you guys rough right now you guys are assigned to cattle fort which is kind of like a forward operating base. You guys are essentially like scout slash rescue forces cattle forts down here. Your current I guess mission that you've received is that this. A couple squads of storm guard have been captured and are presumed on their way to Red river which is up here, which is an enemy fort where they'll eventually get moved from there to abandoned gate and sent through the portal that these slaves are food. I guess you guys don't actually quite actually know that part I guess about them becoming slaves or food. But maybe he would. They were captured about a day ago reports and then of course like this is the messy front line area and yeah cattle forts kind of is based up is based in the mountains here. So yes, your objective is to locate them and retrieve them if possible.
Speaker C: Or do we have a rough idea of what their patrol is, where they were captured?
Speaker A: It was a. It was a part of a battle along the front line, along the lines you know in this area somewhere.
Speaker C: Does the enemy have flyers?
Speaker B: That's my question.
Speaker A: Currently no, but that probably will be a thing.
Speaker C: It's one thing to do search and rescue and you're the only one in the sky on a flying traits.
Speaker A: Well say at this time the pel riders controlled the air. There wouldn't be like there wouldn't be a lot of people flying anyways. Like hell riders are already like a small.
Speaker C: Well I was thinking like monsters. Are there certain flying monsters that might be swarming?
Speaker A: There could be going on that sir.
Speaker C: Vultures with clauses tremendous size. Short legged. Of course.
Speaker A: I would say they're known and if we encounter some we'll see what happens. So yeah that's a potential corrupted dragon for the most part. Co writers don't really give the crap and they're just like hold w go forward, get the job done. There's not much that stands up to them. Oh it's up to you guys too. So yes. Yes. That's the mission.
Speaker D: So in a town.
Speaker A: Yeah, you're calfor. Yeah. They're launched and are in the air.
Speaker B: So we all are individual flying males right now.
Speaker A: Yes.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: You guys all have your own emerald garbage. We have two people that are good at tracking so you might want to start searching. Yep.
Speaker B: Well I guess wherever they were taken we want to. Well I guess we have intel of.
Speaker A: Where they already are.
Speaker B: We can just go there. We can try to figure out. We want a direct trail because maybe they're not doing that.
Speaker C: We don't know where they are but we know where they're going. In theory.
Speaker A: Likely, yes. And you know roughly where. Where they were, where they should have been like fighting.
Speaker B: That's where I would take a look just to see if I could tell where they fell.
Speaker C: How long will it take us to get there?
Speaker B: That's the question.
Speaker A: Emerald darter's cruise at 60 miles an hour. Hope you write comments. Yeah, I was gonna say. So you have probably right at the spot you guys have. Yeah. Roughly about an hour. An hour flight to get to where the. Where they were likely captured or should have been fighting.
Speaker B: Also go over the mountains and come down the other side and see if we can cut them off.
Speaker D: You guys are in the tracks.
Speaker A: They say you don't know where they're at. Okay. You gotta find them first. Okay.
Speaker B: Look out for parties and we'll go.
Speaker C: Outside process to get to where they were captured and then go back from there.
Speaker B: Yep.
Speaker C: Unless we got like some sort of informant that we need to tap.
Speaker A: No, we're up where you're at, this is the. Where you're going is monster controlled. And like the likelihood that you have any informants along the front line is about here.
Speaker C: No crazy smugglers.
Speaker A: There would be but not in that particular area because there's no. There's not really any rivers or railroad or anything.
Speaker C: The fur trapping is good in monster area. You got to be crazy to go up there for a beaver pelt of the equivalent of the beat.
Speaker B: Say let's go to the scene of the car.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: Just take off.
Speaker A: So you get after about an hour flight find the. The fresher battlefield.
Speaker C: Do monsters generally take the bodies for for food or do they leave the bodies where they fall?
Speaker A: I say it depends.
Speaker C: Because if it's pressure battlefield, I'd probably start by looking at some of the fallen bodies to see if they're part of the unit that we're looking for.
Speaker B: You would renege that. I'll take my darter and kind of fly low over the like northern. Where are we exactly right now? Like in here?
Speaker A: Yeah. You guys would be. Yeah, you guys be like dying.
Speaker B: I might fly something shield like maybe a little bit on the northern side of the battlefield and kind of do a little flight over to see if there's like an exit.
Speaker D: What's the name of your guy again? Pax closures, Poly lines, Cherry spades packs.
Speaker A: Spades.
Speaker D: If Pax is going on the ground, that's where spades the mill.
Speaker C: Unless you're just flying over KN it the eyesight's gonna be pretty good. But it's just to confirm that this is the right battlefield.
Speaker D: Yep.
Speaker A: All right.
Speaker C: Maybe pull out a 10 foot pole and nudge people.
Speaker B: Yeah. So I'm just looking for where like if the enemy left try to see like what direction they left from. Because obviously if it's a party, it's not going to be easy to conceal a group leaving with prisoners.
Speaker C: You change your mind, we're going to the next battlefield.
Speaker A: People are coming with us, right? Yeah. So yeah. Paxi land with space and ground and then Morgan give me probably mind and then a career one of those. Probably bounty hunter.
Speaker B: Yeah, that would make any sense. Can I make my king sense in sight and get a bonus back?
Speaker A: Yeah, if you want to. Yeah.
Speaker B: Thinking with him writing all the time, he's good at spotting things.
Speaker C: Oh from that height at 60 miles an hour.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: Well he wouldn't be flying 60.
Speaker D: Back and forth.
Speaker B: There he is from a rolling perspective then. Okay, so it's.
Speaker A: Mind.
Speaker B: And career. So that's plus four. And then I Get like an extra die for the site.
Speaker A: Yeah. And then you use the busted guy two best.
Speaker B: 13.
Speaker A: Yeah. You quite easily spot the leaving trail heading northish. Okay. And then I pull it ziggy pretty.
Speaker B: Hard to make him make like a really loud buzzing noise with his wings like a signal to you guys and then land, get off and start looking at the trail.
Speaker A: Okay. He's doing that tax. Yeah. You do see that there are some like bodies and like blood. You think it forms from both sides. And the shadow orcs, you see humans and actual bodies from shadow orcs too. Which those are the. The other complement of the force that they're like the weird chimpanzee looking things. These, these lovely people.
Speaker C: So monsters have uniforms?
Speaker D: No. You've never seen them though.
Speaker A: No. Your characters haven't. We haven't fought any of them. But yeah, they're like the chimpanzee orangutang. Klingon. Klingon. Yeah. They have a Klingon foreheads. They're like 4ft tall or 5ft tall roughly. And there's like a mix of like bows and like battle axes but then also some like broken guns and stuff. But most of them are armed with like medieval weaponry. Yeah. The few bodies.
Speaker C: The monster side that's committed evil weaponry or did they arm both sides?
Speaker A: No, the, the monsters. Most of them like the few bodies that you find are pretty like mutilated and their like weapons are broken and stuff that. Yeah, they have medieval style weapons. And then you find other humans similar like insignia or uniform on them.
Speaker B: Just so I understand with the monsters there's humans fighting with the monsters.
Speaker A: Yeah, it's monsters and humans but on the same side. Yes.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker D: This.
Speaker A: Go ahead. I was gonna say you guys would know that the, the Twilight wilds and it's also I guess like Twilight hero at all times because the place is covered. That's part of. It's weird. But you would know that Twilight wilds there's. They have conscripts but then there are people that support the monsters and that's more of what the Pell Riders are concerned with is burning those people up.
Speaker C: Are there guns left on the battlefield?
Speaker A: There would be some. Yeah. And they're. They don't. They. They're like standard looking guns. Okay. And you would have encountered.
Speaker C: But I'm not worried about monster humans collecting guns and ammo off the battlefield. No.
Speaker D: Watch out for arrows.
Speaker A: Blam. Buffalo.
Speaker D: Right.
Speaker A: No, any. Any gun. Anything that's been left left here is broken and like pieces of peoples and monsters. I'd See you probably don't find the whole body and you would see like like bite marks and like chewed on feces of flesh and whatnot. Oh and you. You would know you guys would have encountered these before too. But they're called hell scream realms that the enemy has or hell cartridges that they scream and actually like burn when they hit you. So I don't know if you guys ever heard like the like the Aztec like just death whistle or whatever that like it's super disconcerting. Like yeah cartridges that come out that they fire from their guns.
Speaker C: Bigger the cartridges. Are they like a.
Speaker A: They're oversized.
Speaker C: Are they a shotgun shell?
Speaker A: They can come most of their either revolvers or rifle rounds they don't do. Or it would be like a slug. But most of the time they would be rifle rounds and you guys would like would basically be forbidden from using them because there would be weird. They're weird touch. So if you guys collected any of them it would be for research. Like they take back or research. But most of the time you guys would just destroy that stuff on site.
Speaker C: Packs would take some for research but possibly use as a distraction not to use himself.
Speaker A: But.
Speaker B: Someone look at the ground and see if I can tell it roughly how many people went for it.
Speaker A: Give me a role and that will actually probably be very hard.
Speaker B: Okay. Is it determining like method of transport and number possible.
Speaker A: Yep. You can totally do that. Yeah. This would be. Let's roll and we'll see how see how well you do.
Speaker B: And then can I use my sight on that?
Speaker A: Yeah, your sight and bounty hunting. You're tracking.
Speaker B: Oh then.
Speaker A: Oh and I guess you guys do have five hero.
Speaker B: Natural 11. So that's yeah 15.
Speaker C: All right.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: I am not gonna promise I won't play with these. They feel amazing.
Speaker A: They.
Speaker B: I can't do the cool trick where they shuffle them.
Speaker C: I get distracted because I'm trying to figure out how to roll it on my fingers.
Speaker A: So you got a 14.
Speaker B: 15.
Speaker A: Oh 15 total. Oh yeah. So that's. Yeah. So I'll say you would.
Speaker B: They have my friends.
Speaker A: Let's see you do see like you can confirm that there are. You do figure out that there are 20. I guess storm guard boot prints like you can find the.
Speaker B: There was quite a few that were taken in.
Speaker A: Yes. There's 20. And then you can you roughly. You determine that there are like two squads of humans and or transporting them. Slash guardian. And then you also further out probably like 100ft or so. Kind of like a vanguard scout thing. You do see small footprints and like rolling marks, which would be. They're like critter scouts. Slash. And these are like the critters from the movie.
Speaker D: Oh, boy.
Speaker A: And you see that there's probably roughly like a. A group of them. They're usually in groups of ten. So. Yeah. So you see like they're two are on mounts, which you assume are the squad leaders. And there's roughly like 20 soldiers on foot.
Speaker B: 20 of their soldiers or just ours?
Speaker A: They're soldiers.
Speaker B: All right. And then do I see any of the Storm Guard weapons on the ground? Would they have standard weapons or are these going to be like Pale Rider type?
Speaker A: No, they'd all be standard stuff. No, the. The Storm guard. Just human. They're just radio. They're human.
Speaker B: So stuff's all busted right now.
Speaker A: Yeah, there's nothing. There will be nothing useful on the ground. All right.
Speaker B: I get back on Ziggy and I would go up and then take my spy glass out and try to see if I can detect more generally where they've gone.
Speaker A: I would say now that you spotted the trail, so like, you won't have an issue following it. I don't want to see if I.
Speaker B: Can actually see them. See you like in the glass.
Speaker A: Why don't you give me another roll and we'll put this. This is gonna be like 15, 16, because you are in like far, like far. So getting a spot in this. Actually, hold on, let me. Before you even roll. Yeah, you. Yeah, go ahead. Real perfect.
Speaker B: Basically.
Speaker A: Yeah. I was going to say this should be.
Speaker B: No, let it.
Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. You see the tracks, but you do not see any of them.
Speaker B: I fly back over to you guys, park my mountain. All of this the same steps that you guys took to the cranking.
Speaker C: Maybe find a bag of unspent hell rounds. Okay. In that case, once we verify we would have been following, we might have run into you flying far away as we're flying back.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker C: There'D be no reason to. To stay longer. It's just we have a start point to track from. And you got the path.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: That would share the details also Critter.
Speaker A: So you guys can take off. How do you want to follow the trail?
Speaker B: How obvious is it? Like from height? Would we have to be low to follow it or would actually pretty clear from.
Speaker A: I'd say with your keen sight and like the direction I need you and you. And like, even if you guys follow it for like a couple miles and know that it's like it seems to be just straight through. And you can also tell that like this Is a fairly well used trail. Now like you're seeing this. It's a trail that's been used before.
Speaker B: Probably want to follow fairly high. Or we can still follow it, but not necessarily be easy targets.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: So I'll kind of, I guess fly in front. I guess.
Speaker C: Yeah. If you're flying in front like that, I'd probably fly high into the side. So you're. I keep my eye on you.
Speaker B: And that's probably why it's not to.
Speaker A: Be all in that one bundle. Yeah. So you guys, I would also, before.
Speaker B: We leave, I would also have gotten some of the storm guard stuff and like the material like giving it to like Ziggy, like the dog smelling it and give it like different smells and you're like this is what we're looking for. Let's say Ziggy's a hunter.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: Excellent hunter.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: So this is.
Speaker B: This is what the bad guys smell like. This is what our guys smell like.
Speaker A: Yeah. Just I think I like the hunting prowess of real life dragonflies and just make it much big. Big enough for a human to ride on.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: Yeah. So you guys take off then. More lunch and gym.
Speaker B: Sight roll.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: Oh, double sixes. Explosive.
Speaker A: So mighty 6 16. Oh, there you go. You could actually. There you go. Yeah. I'll say you guys mighty advantage would probably be the most useful thing out of a mighty success. Unless you want to bump it to legendary success with one of your hero points.
Speaker B: I'm gonna say because of the nature of the mission, I'll actually spend a point. Just make it a lasting advantage.
Speaker A: What is the last in advance. What is your legendary advantage?
Speaker B: Maybe I could like you said, it's. It's like cloud covered in here a lot.
Speaker A: It's. It's twilight like all the time here. So like the like sun feel like the sun is setting and like there's almost like a. Like a purple blue like nebula, nebulous nebula. Like looking like field over the whole territory almost. So when you like look up the sky is wrong.
Speaker B: So the lasting advantage could just. Because it's not going to be like forever but like I guess for. For this would be like the wind is actually carrying us. Like since we're up higher, the wind is blowing where it's actually carrying us rapidly and masking our sound against the people below because they're in the trees and they're not going to be as affected by the wind. But we're getting a boost.
Speaker C: We're down around for a minute.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: They don't smell us and.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: So it's like a high up wind over the treetops that masks our sound. And our benefits are speed so we can come in with some. With some element of surprise.
Speaker A: Yeah. So you guys, for. You guys fly for like two hours and catch up to them actually within less than an hour. You zoom in and you actually locate the actual troops. And they're about a day's walk from Red River.
Speaker C: Any good ambush spots, you're a little closer to drown them.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: Maybe we got in front of them. I. I would have informed you guys of how many there were because there was 20.
Speaker A: Right.
Speaker B: 20 of ours and like 20 of theirs.
Speaker A: Plus the 10 critters. Yeah. And then two guys mounted on horses.
Speaker B: How are the. Can I tell from where we're at how the prisoners are secured there?
Speaker A: I'll say. They're. So. Yeah. You have a. They're in between the two squads. So you have like riders and they're kind of spaced out. Probably like their rear guard is probably a couple hundred feet back. But they're not the, the people. They're all. I say there's probably. They're like chained around the neck and then like their hands are like chained to the things. They're like very. There's no shot and like it'd be extremely difficult for them to like run away.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker A: They're all chained together with their hands chained up.
Speaker B: If we can make the numbers game very rapidly. You don't happen to have a mass knock spell, do you?
Speaker C: I could. I was just thinking if we had brought guns and ammunition with this additional.
Speaker B: That's why I asked like what was on the ground as well.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: Drop it in the middle of the pack and then harassment. Hope they don't shoot us.
Speaker A: I. I'd say you guys would be like minimal gear. Probably like a day's worth of like rations and stuff because there's that. But also like emerald darters. They're not.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Carry like putting another person on them.
Speaker C: Would severely 100 pounds of ammo and additional guns.
Speaker A: Yeah, that's it. They'd be able to carry like another person.
Speaker C: How about farmers? Little help, little tillers to let.
Speaker B: That's right. This ends up with an unfortunately fat darter. It's got a little bit of a.
Speaker C: Beer belly on it inadvertently goes off.
Speaker A: And blows its tail.
Speaker D: Are they on the. They're still walking towards there. They like what.
Speaker A: Time to pay. Let's say it's probably mid morning.
Speaker D: So they're still marching.
Speaker A: Yes. I would say by the end. By nightfall they'll be back at Camp, they'll be at the fort, so there's.
Speaker C: No time to really lay an ambush.
Speaker A: This is wild west times in there. They're. They're like. I'd say they have, like, just broke camp earlier. You guys got there, like, early in the morning where it says it's as light as possible, which is. It's not great.
Speaker B: But we have some advantage from just this wind. We can get ahead of them and do the ambush thing, but we're going to have a lot of targets on our hands.
Speaker A: You guys, you are able to see, like, this two squad and stuff, but you have no idea where, like, the critter scouts are and stuff. They're only about, like, a foot tall, so they'd be extremely hard to spot.
Speaker B: Could also use our aerial advantage and strafe them. I don't think our garters are, like, super durable.
Speaker A: They have, like seven life and one armor, so they're not super.
Speaker D: They do damage, though.
Speaker A: They can bite people, but if you just want to shoot from them.
Speaker C: What's the weather like?
Speaker B: Well, it's windy up high.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker D: In twilight down low. I'll just say.
Speaker A: Yeah. They say your last day, it's windy and it's raining.
Speaker C: Okay, so they're not moving fast.
Speaker D: No, no.
Speaker A: They're charging along. It'll be a long march.
Speaker D: So how does.
Speaker A: Since.
Speaker D: I don't know, how does magic work? So basically I just say I want to do this, and then it's like.
Speaker A: Oh, this is a. Yeah. Then you're just gonna roll depending on, like, how. And roughly use the magnitude.
Speaker C: Yeah. It's almost negotiated.
Speaker D: And then. Is it mindless?
Speaker A: Yeah, it'd be mindless creature.
Speaker B: By the way, I was thinking that it'd be interesting if you could. If they weren't chained at the neck. I was like, I wonder if all three of us could just carry off the 20 on their chains. But since they're on the tight around the neck, I'm like, oh, maybe that's not gonna happen.
Speaker D: No, that's not good.
Speaker B: Well, we got them back.
Speaker A: They're just dead.
Speaker B: Their necks are broken.
Speaker C: This is more arcana.
Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah, it'd be arcana. It's on the arcana chart, which is like one. All right. It's on like one page 140, but yeah, on the bottom there.
Speaker B: It would be good to know what you guys can do.
Speaker C: Go ahead.
Speaker B: And we're gonna have nasty.
Speaker C: Gives you kind of an idea of the. The rank.
Speaker D: Okay.
Speaker C: Because we're dealing with phase points. It's like one. One Point. We both have some.
Speaker A: Yeah, you. You even have. You could potentially. Yeah, I think you have. Preacher. You have. Because of the order of the rank. I think you have one faith point.
Speaker D: Yeah. Because I. I did two for mine too.
Speaker A: For. And then you guys have. Since you guys have codexes, you have bonus. You have a bonus die for capacity.
Speaker C: If you look on the other side, it's like this is a can trip. It gives you an idea of what a can trip level would be.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: And then.
Speaker A: I see.
Speaker C: So it's more of a criteria. You can do whatever you want, but if it ticks those boxes, then you're looking at a magnitude 2 or 3.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: Which you got.
Speaker A: I would say you guys probably be cantrips in magnitude ones. So I think two is pretty. Gets pretty plus. You have. Plus you can also basically do put boons and veins on stuff because that's how the actual, like the raw rules are for faith points. And you're essentially scaring boons or bangs to.
Speaker C: Can you bane a group or like, if. If you curse the land for a certain thing, can you affect whatever's on it? Or is it like a. A per creature scenario?
Speaker A: It'd be. It's essentially per target. But also remember that it's associated with light, sun, skill, healing, and truth. So, like, you wouldn't particularly be actually like trying to like, burn up the ground or whatever. Like, well, kind of deal.
Speaker C: It's been wet, raining. But if I were to. To do a vein on the ground that all. All monsters which were combating it have a harder time walking through it. So it would drain their stamina more and slow down their progress. Or would it be per monster of does that like.
Speaker A: Honestly, that kind of AOE is probably out of your ability.
Speaker C: Okay.
Speaker A: We can say that stuff. Yeah. So this would be like a second magnitude if you. I guess if you want to roll for it. I always put it at demanding if you want to do that big of it.
Speaker B: Like, how much arcane power do you have?
Speaker A: We don't. They're not using arcane power.
Speaker C: This is faith based. But that gives you an idea of the levels. I printed that out for a Audrey.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker C: Now he's got focus.
Speaker A: He's. Yeah.
Speaker C: He'S probably going to be a bit more dangerous to everything around him.
Speaker A: Yeah. Because like altering the land like that part is like a second or third magnitude spell. Okay.
Speaker B: From the site that I had did it looked like there was a leader of the gang.
Speaker A: Yeah. There's two. You would know that there's two. There's each squad has a leader and they're on horses. One of them is an orc open the leader.
Speaker B: Yeah. In our sneak. We should disorient them.
Speaker C: They do it quick enough.
Speaker A: Two.
Speaker C: Dragonflies could probably go down and just grab the leaders and fly off.
Speaker B: So I'm saying like seriously, like go down there and like him with like a paralyze and then just pick them off the horses. So as you're coming down, just magic them and then we just take off with them. I have bonuses on a mount, so I probably could.
Speaker D: You guys pay mount and I'll go on the ground. Yeah, my guys all fight.
Speaker B: I mean we take them off and kill them and then come back into the fray.
Speaker C: Oh, they're just dragon flex it.
Speaker A: Yeah. I say you're like you. You could. If you don't, you could buzz and try like and just try and have your dragon head bite their head off if you want to just become down to damage or plus if you want to like shoot them and then have the dragonfly come down and as you're going in and bite their head. Like that's totally. We'll just roll it up using the dragonflies agility. For them fighting the head off or carrying the guy. I will say it will like half speed you so it'll give you. If you're carrying someone else. It's a. We'll say that's a penalty die on anything.
Speaker B: You're trying to just use the one person on one mountain. What's the parentheses?
Speaker A: That's scale too. So if you're every. Everything you're fighting down here is will have skill scale one agility. So that means you get a bonus die for your agility roll against all the little things. Yeah, because you have skill. 2 agility because your dragonfly are ridiculous.
Speaker B: But his the damage is only D6L from the Dragonfly jaws.
Speaker C: How hard is it to pop ahead.
Speaker D: Off or would you have to find out?
Speaker A: Yeah, it's D6L now. Like if you. So that's other stuff you can do because like think of like the faith is like buffs and debuffing. It's generally not particularly used for like direct assaults, but like and especially in. In raw for everyone. It's mostly buffing and debuffing people. So think of I guess the pell riders stuff a lot in that or like I mean you guys saw Ramsey like blind a bunch of people too. So like thinking I guess like that kind of not necessarily dealing direct damage because that's what your blessed guns and Weapons are for. Because your guns do, like, shoot gold light or silver light however you feel like your gun wants. However you feel like your gun looks when it shoots.
Speaker C: We can pop the dragonflies.
Speaker A: Yeah. So if you wanted to. And give them, like, better, even more agility or potentially increase their claiming jaws on the son or whatever.
Speaker D: Are they all, like. There's two squads. Are they in a line down the road?
Speaker A: Yeah. Let me pull up the whiteboards.
Speaker B: There's a chain lightning or chain light.
Speaker D: Not my guy. My guy's melee.
Speaker B: He's what?
Speaker D: He's melee.
Speaker B: Oh, okay. Gotcha. You both got power, but yeah, my.
Speaker D: Guy was more melee heavy than.
Speaker A: Okay, that's super tiny.
Speaker D: That's how high up we are right now.
Speaker A: Yeah, you're so high. There we go. Blended. I know. It's kind of like that, like down there. Yeah. These guys actually blended works. So, like, there'd be, like, these guys here. Maybe I'll just make go this full whiteboard.
Speaker D: Whiteboard for me.
Speaker A: Because we know where we're at. So let me just kill these tiles. We know we're in this jungle. Yeah. So, like, so you have that one squad I'm just gonna use. So, yeah, you have basically, like two squads like this, and then there's.
Speaker D: Prisoners in between.
Speaker A: Yeah. And these guys would probably be kind of like space, you know, spaced out a little bit, following the prison, kind of watching the prisoners.
Speaker D: And I can probably take first group.
Speaker A: And then the prisoners are all kind of like just like this in a line.
Speaker D: These are prisoners?
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: These are prisoners. These are guards. Need a generic captain on a horse.
Speaker A: I'll say. These guys are kind of like, spread it, you know, like the squad does kind of marching along the sidewind. And then the 20 soldiers. And then you have, like, rear guard and some magic that's back in the way. There you go like this. This. Yeah, this is kind of like how they're going. Do you want. You guys could put out plastic guys.
Speaker D: You guys want to deal with these dudes? I could probably deal with that. These guys are more spread out.
Speaker B: And this is the head dude.
Speaker A: Yeah, that's the one squad leader. And then this is another squad. Spot the earth.
Speaker B: I'm thinking. I'm thinking just like, buzz by the guy and just laughs on and just like, take him for horizons, drop him off. Like, let him just die from fall damage. Because they're just going to see him get yanked from his horse with.
Speaker D: Lasso. Yep.
Speaker C: I thought it'd be a good distraction, too.
Speaker B: Just thinking of, like, what's max Intimidation factor.
Speaker C: Max intimidation would be if I remember to pick up explosives and just drop them on. Right on the tightly clustered group in the back.
Speaker B: Yeah, I'm up for whatever, but I'll try to take care of him. That front guy.
Speaker D: Yeah, I'll drop down here and deal with those guys.
Speaker B: I'll probably come across, like, just so I'm not like, gonna get a million points of gunfire.
Speaker C: Well, if you come across that way.
Speaker B: As opposed to, like, going over the top on Opus.
Speaker C: No, I was just thinking if you're coming this way, if I go that way, then I would kind of draw the fire. If I stayed out, that would draw the fire from these four.
Speaker A: You'll at least be a surprise.
Speaker B: And what are the four?
Speaker C: These are just.
Speaker A: Just soldiers, soldier.
Speaker D: Same with this. That guy's a squad leader, and that's why.
Speaker C: So you're taking out the leader? I'm a distraction going across here.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: I'm going to say these. The. The guys with the prisoners. You can definitely see obvious guns on them. Like they're walking with guns. This group back here is all. These are shadow orcs. The other ones are all humans. And these guys, you don't say you don't see any guns on them.
Speaker B: Yeah, I don't know what you guys can do as far as your skills.
Speaker C: What is the range or spells?
Speaker A: I don't think they actually had. We'll just say you got line of sight so you can see them, you can affect them.
Speaker B: And when you cast a spell, is it visible?
Speaker C: Yeah, well, I was just thinking it.
Speaker A: Very much.
Speaker C: For the range. If I flew high enough to cover all of them, do the equivalent of a flashbang. All that bright light and twilight, then it would act as a distraction for both.
Speaker B: The flashbang might be interesting.
Speaker A: Oh, yes. Flashbang will definitely require a face point. And yeah, I mean, you can get up to 6.1, so if you want to spend 2, you can go up to 12.
Speaker B: Or flashbang his guys. So he can like, immediately land and then just go full mad monkey on him. A melee guy and a bunch of flashbang people. You probably.
Speaker D: I don't need sex. I have blind combat. I can fight blind.
Speaker C: So of course you could do that on your way in.
Speaker A: Yeah, you certainly could.
Speaker B: I guess it depends on where you're flashbanging, because I can just drop the guys in there and I just drop in the middle of the flashback.
Speaker C: Well, I wasn't sure how big of a line I could make.
Speaker A: It's it your powder limit. Like it's a single. It's single target. Unless you want to spend a faith point and then you can do six.
Speaker C: Okay, then I'll spend one and I'll hit. Are they close enough to be. Get hit on one?
Speaker A: So it. So if you want to hit six, you. You'll just hit six. They don't. There's like. You just be like. It's like individually blinding them. Or if you're just making, like, a big one, you won't be able to.
Speaker B: Hit all of them.
Speaker C: That I was looking at how they're spaced out. That one makes perfect sense. They're all close together. But if I blind this guy and I spend the face point to hit six, does it hit the closest six, in which case I take out the three guys who.
Speaker B: I don't.
Speaker A: No, this is. So this is. I guess this is the. I guess in everyone. This is the difference between arcane and divine magic. Basically. Like, it's. If you. You can see them, which we may roll for that just because they're, like, marching or if you're just gonna, you know, like, buzz the line and just hit them like that or whatever. No, you. You. If you spend the faith point, you can hit six.
Speaker C: Okay. I can choose my targets and.
Speaker A: Yes. Yeah. No, it's. So this is. Think of like, they're. You're just individually, like, blinding them or whatever.
Speaker C: Okay.
Speaker A: Unless you're. Unless you're specifically making, like, want to make a bright light.
Speaker C: No blinding eyes.
Speaker A: But if. Yeah, if you're trying to, like, blind them for a turn or whatever, you know, for around or two, then yes. So let's see.
Speaker D: And.
Speaker C: Yeah, PAX would blind the. The main column, and.
Speaker D: Spades can take that group.
Speaker C: We'll blind them and handle. You can take out the leader and.
Speaker A: All right, so we have. So after this initial, like, assault, then we'll go into initiative. So what we'll do. Yeah, actually, we'll. We'll pull that up after this initial assault because you guys are coming in a lot. And here would be legendary advantage or lasting advantage. Yeah, they won't. They won't hear you. They don't know you're there because the rain and it's dark and you're up high enough that they're not hearing them. All right, so what's the order of operations here?
Speaker D: Morgan goes first, if you want to take him.
Speaker A: Yeah, so I want to.
Speaker B: I want to actually, like, come in like.
Speaker D: Or we'll synchronize it. So you hit here, and then I'll hit here.
Speaker B: Yeah, that's fine.
Speaker D: At the same Time.
Speaker B: But I'll come by and like, try to lasso him and take him up. I'm going to come back around and actually from height, drop him into the column.
Speaker C: The.
Speaker B: That.
Speaker A: That long column is the slaves or.
Speaker B: Oh, I thought these were.
Speaker A: Oh, sorry.
Speaker B: Yeah, I misunderstood.
Speaker A: No, that's right.
Speaker B: I'll just circle back around.
Speaker A: Yeah, the green dice, or if you want to grab the blue soldiers, then we have bags of always soldiers out there. Throw some of those. There's ones right there too.
Speaker C: So pretty much what I'll do is I'll fly through at the same time. You blind these? I blind these guys. They'll be disoriented.
Speaker D: Oh, yeah, we're working.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: And then they'll be disoriented. When you come to here, we'll make those guys take out the leader. Otherwise they might turn and see you coming.
Speaker A: No, here's me.
Speaker D: Yeah, that's fine.
Speaker C: So that way both parties are getting blind roughly the same time.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker C: You don't know what's going on. When you go down in last zone, that should give you advantage for the actual.
Speaker B: So no time when you're gonna do it then.
Speaker A: All right, so we got spades and packs. Yeah, so I was gonna say, I guess so, like, I guess fiction wise, you guys like spot them, go off like a mile, because that's like a minute of flying land. Talk this out, go up, and then execute. Because you guys are professionals.
Speaker C: Yeah, if we weren't, it would be an hour.
Speaker A: Yeah, you guys talk for however, you know, whatever to get sorted out. But we don't have to get out.
Speaker B: Like grass and twigs and map it out, you know, draw it in the trailer. We've done this stuff.
Speaker A: Yes. All right, so we got spades. Impacts are dive bombing with the. Actually, you get close enough to where you can see him and blind them. And then morgue is dive bombing with this last suit.
Speaker B: So if I read this right, I get a bonus die for the lasso and I get a bonus die for my horseman.
Speaker A: Yes.
Speaker B: So I'm blessed with this guy plus.
Speaker A: A bonus die because. Well, we'll see if the blind goes off or do.
Speaker C: So I'll use a faith point just to make sure.
Speaker A: All right, so you're going to burn two faith points. So.
Speaker C: Well, I'm just hitting one group.
Speaker A: So if. Well, so if you want. So you either roll and if you get nine plus your spell goes off, or you can spend a faith point and it just happens. But then you also have to spend a faith point to affect up to 6.
Speaker C: Okay.
Speaker A: So pressure.
Speaker B: It's whatever you.
Speaker C: And that's rolling the D20 or.
Speaker A: No, two D6.
Speaker C: Two D6.
Speaker A: Yeah, two D6 plus mine, plus Preacher. Okay.
Speaker C: And again, next run for the.
Speaker A: And with the codex. Yep. You have a bonus die for your codex.
Speaker C: So that's 3D6, best two.
Speaker A: Yep.
Speaker C: And we got to hit nine.
Speaker A: Yes. Nine or better.
Speaker C: So we've got an 11 to start. That's before we toss in.
Speaker A: Okay, nice.
Speaker C: The three, four, six if we include preacher. So that would be 12, 17.
Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. So you're. They're blind. All right. And then their eyes explode.
Speaker D: So what I want to do is I'm flying in. I want to roll off my. My dragonfly. And then the magic would be like angel wings and like, slow fall, and then land here. And as I land, it's just flashbang.
Speaker A: Flashbang.
Speaker B: It's almost like the Batman boot kick.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: All right. Yeah. So cast a spell. The slow fall, which is what he said. It's just your mind plus creature. Nine. Nine or better. Oh, then you also have a bonus die. So you have another D6.
Speaker D: Yeah, that's already.
Speaker A: Okay. You're good.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: All right. Yep. So you're like gold.
Speaker D: Yeah. Just be gold wings.
Speaker A: I'd say you. Yeah, I was gonna say. Yeah. Whatever envisioned wings you want. Yeah.
Speaker D: It would make it like gold wing.
Speaker A: And then you hit the dirt. And then.
Speaker D: And then as I land, I'd be like my mistress. Be judged or come be judged. Yes. As I land, pull out my sword. All right.
Speaker A: Yep. So you. So roll the cast. That, or you can spend the face point.
Speaker D: Three dice.
Speaker A: Yes. Because you have your. Your codex.
Speaker D: When I bite myself, I can use a point.
Speaker A: Yeah. I was going to say, if you want it. Yeah. You can always permit your o Point.
Speaker D: That's 12 in the box.
Speaker A: Okay. A lot. Yeah. So it'd just be the two highest of those. Yeah.
Speaker D: All that was four.
Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. So easy. Yep. So they're blinded. And then. All right. And then we'll see if Morg lassos this guy off.
Speaker B: So that. So I get an extra die for the blind.
Speaker A: Yes.
Speaker B: I'm rolling five dice to lasso this dude.
Speaker D: One. Here we go. Now.
Speaker B: So I got double sixes plus whatever.
Speaker A: What? Mine?
Speaker B: No, sorry. Agility.
Speaker A: This. Yeah, this would be your agility since you're using the lasso. Yeah. Plus your cowboy, I think.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: Yep.
Speaker B: So that's 18.
Speaker C: That's kind of explosive. Did you just rip his head off?
Speaker B: I would say if I can do this, then what I Want to do is basically come down. I lasso him.
Speaker A: Like around the neck. Yep, totally. At 18. Yeah.
Speaker B: Around the neck. And I have it tied to like my saddle horn on the back of the beast. And as it lassos his neck, I actually slide down off of that. And so the beast just takes off with the dude's neck and I come down on the ground and as he goes up, you just hear me go like bitch. And the lasso unties and the guy just falls.
Speaker A: Awesome. Yeah.
Speaker B: So you just go. And then he goes flying off. I don't know. Can he independently, like, work with me?
Speaker A: I would say. Well, that's how you don't have beast friend. Yes. Oh.
Speaker B: So like, could it be like he knows, like he's gonna come back and fight with me?
Speaker A: I would say. How would you guys communicate with. They're not super intelligent, but there is intelligence there.
Speaker C: He might just find a safe spot and wait for you.
Speaker D: That's what mine would do.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: I mean, if I. Unless I had like kill words.
Speaker A: Well, that. That's up to. That's up to. This is. This is building pel Rider lore. How do they interact with these? And I guess also building Emerald darter lore because these are available for other people.
Speaker B: I think maybe I'd have to still roll to see if the beast, like actually hears me or obeys.
Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
Speaker B: Because it's not like everyone's going to be able to command their daughter unless they work with beasts. But since he has a beast friend skill, it'd be like maybe I can call him in like an animal.
Speaker C: You wave your hand.
Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker A: So that's what I'm I guess asking. How would. How. What would that look like in this? What is it? Like whistles, hand signals? Or you have like a special. Like a special whistle that we've. That people train Emerald darters with this. This would be just like in general, like if you were spent the time to train an emerald darter or do you use whistle? Probably Russian whistle clicker training. Or is it. Or is it. Or they understand words like dog. Like dog level. Yeah.
Speaker B: It would either be like. It would be words, I think, or something a magical enhancement of like how we deal with animals today. Like this is the clicker, but maybe it would be like a pale rider specific sound. So it's not like something anyone can emulate that the animal's like directly trained to like one tail rider to one or one clicker to one.
Speaker C: Kind of like training a dog. It might be trained in Yugoslavian, but you're An American, right?
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: I can see maybe having a special collar with two buttons on it to amplify your click.
Speaker A: Or.
Speaker B: I'm just saying it's just like a thing that you just activate and it comes or whatever, but because like you said, they're not like, the smartest creatures. This isn't like your friends from your other character where you're not talking to their minds. It's just more of a suggestion to the animal. Come in.
Speaker A: Yep. So think like, ver prey or kind of do. I mean, you could. And like, bees are smart. You can train bees. So.
Speaker C: Bro.
Speaker B: With a little bag.
Speaker D: Yeah. Falcon.
Speaker B: Yeah. These are dragonflies.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: Maybe it would even be like a thing that I throw down. Like, it's a scent that it knows.
Speaker A: Yeah, like little scent.
Speaker B: Yeah. You know, like, it's just like, when it comes out, it knows, like, on, like, supposed to chew on some stuff or. Or it goes into target. Yeah. It'd be like a pheromone thing.
Speaker C: A special round or a special gun, like for a dart. You mark the target with that scent and it's like.
Speaker B: Yeah, exactly. Yeah. Or if. Even if it's on the ground next to him, it's like, you're screwed.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Yeah. That's cool.
Speaker C: Dragonfly hand grenades.
Speaker B: I was thinking more like the darker being more like a bug. It's not less like a dog.
Speaker C: A resin bag and hit it, and it just kind of marks their descent on them.
Speaker B: Yeah. So, Yes. I would take one from my belt and toss it over the line towards that guy.
Speaker A: All right. Yeah. So we'll do. So all that. So that one dude, he's going. I'll say he's toast. And then. Yeah. All right, so let's. So you guys definitely will be rolling initiative with advantages because of how you set up this all up. All right, let's see. Start engagement role, which you guys already did. You already have the bench. Yeah. Okay. Priority roll. So it's 2D6. Mind play, plus initiative, plus. You all have bonus deck. Yeah. And this is just basically to see if you. The order if you go before all of them.
Speaker C: Well, shame it's not explosive.
Speaker A: All right, so anyone. Everyone's got better than nine or better.
Speaker D: Oh, yeah.
Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. So you guys are all up. So you guys. All you guys have. And they're all blinded. So you have bonus guy. So you guys can act in whatever order you want. And then I guess PAX is still in the air. All right. Yeah. You guys can do what you want.
Speaker D: My guy just, like, walk up. They're blinded. He just pull that guy off his mouth.
Speaker A: Yeah. They're like, you know, like that's. That's like flashbang. So you have like a few seconds. So you're just in there. Oh, yeah, I forgot that guy's on a horse.
Speaker D: Yeah, yeah.
Speaker B: Do we know how long the flashbang will last?
Speaker A: Well, it's. Let's say it's this round, and then it's gonna be cleared. Unless someone wants to fire it up again. But yeah, essentially it's like one round. Yes.
Speaker D: And just drink plus melee.
Speaker A: Yes.
Speaker D: Plus brave.
Speaker A: No. Just strength in melee.
Speaker D: And it's 2D6.
Speaker A: Yes.
Speaker D: Plus the bonus D because.
Speaker A: Yes. Invest of those.
Speaker D: 13 to hit.
Speaker A: Yep. That hits. And then your damage is scaled too. So you actually need to step it up two steps on the damage track, since you have one right. Right here at the very bottom.
Speaker D: D6.
Speaker A: D6 plus four. So it would go up two steps. So zero to D6. So that's two D6. Yeah. Plus your string, I think.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: It's two D6.
Speaker A: Plus my strength, which is four.
Speaker D: Right.
Speaker A: What does this look like?
Speaker D: It would be just like, as he's pulling them off, he just runs them through. Like, just. He's done this so much.
Speaker B: He's not slowing down.
Speaker A: No, no. All right. Yep. That guy's toast.
Speaker D: And then if he died, he just say, like, I deem thee guilty.
Speaker A: Yep. He's toe. He's dead.
Speaker D: I have a plus two with my hatred of the beard as well for melee attack.
Speaker A: Oh, yeah, I forgot about your hatred.
Speaker D: And then he would just, like, move along.
Speaker A: Oh, yeah. So, yeah, hatred. Oh, yeah. So you have minus two defense, but you have plus two melee attack. Your defense is just Vero. Yeah. Okay. Everyone else's defense. Okay. All right. Yeah. So whoever wants to act next, you guys are all going before the tufts and. Right. Rabble.
Speaker C: If I didn't see the scent going down, I'd be aiming for.
Speaker B: I haven't. I haven't thrown that yet. Because we had to first.
Speaker A: Yeah. So, yeah, it's basically. So we're rolling in.
Speaker C: So I'm having the dragonfly come down and hit that guy in the head.
Speaker A: All right.
Speaker B: Can he act in addition to the Dragonfly?
Speaker A: Yeah, I'd say because it's.
Speaker B: What's.
Speaker A: Your mounted was your second one. I would say, if you wanted. If you want to do something besides just drive the Dragonfly, that you'll. Whatever action that takes will be with a penalty die. So which is essentially you roll three and use the two lowest. If you take an independent action of just aiming. Driving your dragonfly.
Speaker C: Yeah, I'd have the. If I could do that, Dragonfly would be trying to bite that guy in the head, and I'd be shooting that guy.
Speaker A: Okay. Yep. So let's. Let's roll your shot as you're diving in.
Speaker B: It's going to assume we agreed that you're taking that side, I'm taking this side.
Speaker C: Okay.
Speaker A: There you go.
Speaker C: Well, you'll see him go down and it's like, well, maybe not. And if I miss, like. Oh, crap. Okay, so.
Speaker A: Your dragonfly, it would be agility.
Speaker C: Two. So that's an extra.
Speaker A: That's just. Yeah, plus two.
Speaker C: Okay. So he's. Are they still blinded?
Speaker A: Yeah. This round you have bonus die.
Speaker C: Okay.
Speaker A: Yeah. And his melee is two, so that's also plus two. Oh, your agility is up. So that's another bonus die. So you have two bonus die and then you add. So it's the best of the best of the best. Two of that plus two for your melee attack. And then we'll see what damage you get with your jaws. Let's see.
Speaker C: 11. Yeah, that's what's the agility. And that was a D6.
Speaker B: Large or D6.
Speaker A: D6 low.
Speaker B: So you two would take the lesser.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: Three points.
Speaker A: Yep. His head's off.
Speaker C: As he's coming down. He's steady. This one's going for the child. Yeah. And I'm shooting the other one. So that would be 3. D6. I'm rolling for that one.
Speaker A: Oh, yeah. Well, yes, because. But then you use the two blows because of hell. Well, I guess. Actually, no, they cancel out because he's blind. So you have a bonus die. So you're just rolling flat two D6 plus agility, plus range.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker C: So 6, 8, 9, 10.
Speaker A: Yep.
Speaker C: That's the west heavy revolver.
Speaker A: Yep. D6H, I believe.
Speaker D: Yep.
Speaker C: So that would be six. I roll a six and a five, so.
Speaker A: Yep.
Speaker C: So you hear. Hear the hum on the other side. The dragonfly comes down. You just hear the jaws close and the gunshot back off again.
Speaker D: All right.
Speaker A: All right.
Speaker B: He'll take one of those things off and he. I guess he just throw it at the guy that's in front of him. I can only do the one thing that I know I can't shoot.
Speaker A: Yeah, you get one action, essentially. Yeah. So if you want to throw the scent back and then. Then you can. Then your dragon fight can come. Yo.
Speaker B: So can the dragonflies grab and take off?
Speaker A: Yeah, if you wanted to carry off. Carry the. Just carry the guy Away.
Speaker B: Yeah, I want to kind of try to have him do the same thing that we did with the other guy, but without the lasso. Would it be possible for me when he comes down to grab him, that I could mount it.
Speaker D: Or would it.
Speaker B: Just be a flyby? I guess it'd be a flyby because he's not intelligently waiting for that. It's gonna be a flyby.
Speaker A: Yeah. But if you want to time it, we can say that the. The bad guys are still I. So you. We could time it so they're coming down, but he's going to be in danger as well.
Speaker D: Right.
Speaker A: Because you're coming down and then he's just moving there.
Speaker B: Get out of there. So that's just.
Speaker A: The agility and melee. Okay, so yeah.
Speaker B: This is agility. Go up another two because of the small target.
Speaker A: No, you just. Well, you just get a bonus die.
Speaker B: Oh, okay.
Speaker A: Yeah. Okay. That's.
Speaker B: 10, I think.
Speaker A: Yep. That's enough. Okay.
Speaker B: Yeah, so he just ground and just takes off. He's gonna have the same fate as this guy.
Speaker A: All right, so he just comes down.
Speaker B: And grabs him and like just goes over the line.
Speaker A: Well, that guy will get to act, so he's okay. All right, so you guys have all gone. So. So we'll go with the guy that I grabbed with. Got grabbed.
Speaker B: I think he's just.
Speaker A: He rolled a flat nine, which I don't. I don't know if it gets past you.
Speaker D: Like, go with me.
Speaker C: Like what?
Speaker D: See if he's smart enough.
Speaker A: Yeah, so that's the. Yeah, the emerald darter. He's struggling and does not get out of its grass. That was his actions. You can't. Okay.
Speaker C: So pretty above the clouds.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: This guy goes and shoots at Morg. He hold a nine isn't gonna be enough because he defenses two, defense two. So that puts it to a seven. So you hear one of those L cartridges go by. Terrible screaming. You see, like feel a little bit of heat if it misses. All right, that's right. This guy's dead. Then spade. These four guys, I'm not sure if they have this round. There's three. Four of them equals not enough. So. Yep. So they're rushing, trying to hit you. Some of them. Some of them have a big act, like a two ended battle ax.
Speaker D: Just stepping out of the way or deflecting with the sword.
Speaker A: All right, you guys are back up. They say you guys can go simultaneous if you want since you're in.
Speaker D: Yeah, I would have like deflected this guy and just like parried it and then turned it. Six plus nine.
Speaker B: We have any bonuses now?
Speaker A: It's just straight right.
Speaker D: Be a lot.
Speaker A: How'd you get nine or better? Unless you roll the doubles or spins. Spend a hero point to turn it into a mighty success.
Speaker B: Nine to hit.
Speaker A: Yep. That hits almost 2d6.
Speaker B: Five damage.
Speaker A: He's dead.
Speaker B: Whistle for my teeth to come out.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker D: Take 10 damage. I just cleave them through.
Speaker A: Yeah, he's cutting that every time. That guy.
Speaker D: That guy's got a gun that won't work.
Speaker A: And what's.
Speaker C: I take a quick look. We made a lot of noise. I want to make sure we don't have incoming critters. And if we do, I want to be able to.
Speaker A: All right, people on the ground, give me a goal. It's mine. Bus bounty hunter for tracking.
Speaker C: Okay.
Speaker A: I was zooming around, looking, scanning, licking the brush.
Speaker C: Oh, wait a minute. With mine.
Speaker A: Yes, Mine. Okay. Yeah, you do see under brush from, like, both sides. Like, a little bit of moving. Like, you see 10 different. Like, little roughage. That's not just rain.
Speaker C: Okay.
Speaker A: I mean, I'll say they'll be in next round.
Speaker C: So once I spot that, I don't know, would you. Would they be able to hear over the sound of a dragonfly?
Speaker A: We can. You can shout, and then we'll have. Both of them. Can do. You can do an appeal role. Okay. For communicating. And then we'll have the other two guys do mine or appeal. Let's see if you hear it. So I think appeal is the perception one, basically.
Speaker C: Okay, so that'd be 10 critters from each side or five critters from each side.
Speaker A: I'll say five from each side.
Speaker C: Ooh, double fives. So if they appeal, that would be 12.
Speaker A: Okay, then what you guys. Oh, actually, we'll just say that's this. This will be part of your actually communicating that you moved around, shouted whatever. So you've communicated.
Speaker C: Okay.
Speaker A: That Krager's coming from both sides. Actually, I guess they're actually coming towards where you guys would actually be on the draw. All right.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker A: So everybody's gone. Okay. These guys haven't arrived yet. They haven't arrived yet. They'll be after this comment round. All right, so these guys. All right, so the shadow one.
Speaker B: Fat one.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Shadow Oryx takes place. Wow, that is a freaking terrible. Well, even with their bonus for being in together attacking you. No shot. Yeah. So you get dodging. All right.
Speaker C: You dance divinely, guys.
Speaker B: Probably laughing. Yeah.
Speaker D: Oh, he's doing, like, the warhammer thing. Just talking About Mithras and he will be judged. So.
Speaker A: Yeah. Because his character is a fanatic. Fanatics filing paperwork.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker B: This is a normal day.
Speaker D: Yeah. And every time you, like, kill someone, it's like this versus do guilty. The unclean will be purged and all that.
Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. I forgot to mention that. That Steve's guy is not a fanatic.
Speaker C: Yeah, I was gonna say.
Speaker D: And then my guy also has Savage. And then it's like Elon seamlessly relish for combat bloodshed which unnerves those unused to your waist. So he's just like.
Speaker A: No, if these are humans. Actually, I forgot about the morale. Actually, let me roll. Let me do that. I need. Forgot about that. I need to roll that.
Speaker D: My guy's just like Darth Vadering through people. Just like it doesn't care. The rogue one hallway thing. Yeah.
Speaker C: I could see that being a balloon on your blade. Not only does it cut it cauterize.
Speaker D: Could be holy flame.
Speaker B: Battlefront 2 thing where somebody accidentally recreated that scene in Battlefront 2 is like a smoky hallway in one of the ship interior things that invader was chasing. Like, it was even like the basic troop. He comes through the door and it's like the lightsaber through the smoke and then deflects like 12 blaster shots. And it, like, kills guys. You know, people are like, hey, you accidentally made that scene from the film again.
Speaker D: Blew off again after Andor.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: And they just had Revenge of the Sith.
Speaker B: It actually is a pretty fun game. It looks amazing.
Speaker D: It was fun. I like the Ewok mode.
Speaker B: They're so brutal, though.
Speaker D: Yeah, that mode was just fun.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: Was it there one Ewok?
Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker D: You all started as stormtroopers on Endor, and there's one Ewok, but then if the Ewok killed you, you turned into an Ewok and had to kill the other people.
Speaker B: It was zombie mode.
Speaker D: It was. It was fun.
Speaker B: That's from the Call of Duty Zombies, where one zombie, you try to be the last person standing.
Speaker A: All right.
Speaker D: We had the horn too, so I just.
Speaker A: Right around. All right. Yeah. So the. The critters, or you see them coming and they're like rolling up to high speed, but yeah, you guys are swinging.
Speaker D: Keep working through.
Speaker A: Yep.
Speaker B: What were you saying about the morale?
Speaker A: I was looking for. And I thought the system had one. Okay. I don't think. I don't think it does.
Speaker D: I got double threes. Does that do anything?
Speaker A: Double threes? No.
Speaker D: Is it just double sixes?
Speaker A: Yeah, double sixes.
Speaker D: That's a lot.
Speaker A: Like 15 jobs. Yeah.
Speaker B: I called for my. I called for my.
Speaker A: Yeah. So yeah, he is cool.
Speaker B: And as I hop onto him, I told you guys, I just. He's all business. He's like, careers are coming. Have faith. Circle up.
Speaker A: Use your feet.
Speaker B: And it takes off and tells these guys to like, circle up.
Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. Like.
Speaker B: Yeah, bunch up in a circle.
Speaker A: Takes off. Yeah, you can.
Speaker D: Guys are like, more unclean. He's like, covered in blood temporarily.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: Trying to get like Roman style. At least get their feet out there where they can.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: Stuff.
Speaker C: Failing.
Speaker A: So feet.
Speaker B: But as opposed to a meal train.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: For the critters. It also gives us something to defend because I. I go up and I'm starting to. With your information, I'm starting to like, patrol around. I'm looking for any targets.
Speaker A: I would say you would. When you were on the ground, you. You saw them coming. So if you wanted to shoot at them before you like.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: Instead of getting on your mount. Yeah, you could do that instead of.
Speaker B: Getting on the mount. Because he would. He would definitely be getting on the mount.
Speaker A: Oh, yeah, that. That would be your. Your movement.
Speaker B: I think that's his whole thing is telling them while he's mounting up if they're coming.
Speaker A: But yeah, you saw them rolling in. So they're. They're in combat now. They're in the thing to have to.
Speaker C: Fly down and shoot at one of them. They're small enough. I'm not sure. Would the dragonfly be able to just safely branch them or would that be like mouth to mouth, teeth versus mandibles?
Speaker A: I say if. If you want your dragonfly to attack one, then you definitely will not be able to do anything because you'll need to be able be like hanging on. Because they are like a football and they're rolling and they're the ones that he left. Yeah. These guys up here are rolling beelining for their prisoners. Yeah.
Speaker C: So I would be better off shooting at those than having the dragonflight attack.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: That's what I was debating. Is there such a small target? Dragonfly's got agility, but if I'm steady on a dragonfly, shooting would probably make more sense.
Speaker A: And you guys do. If you. I forgot about this. You can fan your hammer and we'll say your gun needs. Will like recharge after the next. For the next round. If we recharge, only cowards. So if you want to fan the hammer and do six shots, we can do that.
Speaker D: Use again.
Speaker C: In that case. I should have taken your revolver. Yeah.
Speaker A: No, that. Those Are personal. He has one like it's standard equipment. He just chooses not to use it.
Speaker B: How many targets do you hit?
Speaker A: Well, all what we'll do is we'll add a difficulty per target.
Speaker B: Gotcha.
Speaker A: So let's keep. So if you want to try and shoot all five of them, that's going to add four five to the goal. And what we'll do is you hit that. If you meet it, you'll hit all of. You'll hit all of them. And then anything below between nine and the target number, you'll get.
Speaker D: I got you.
Speaker A: Where's. The person.
Speaker B: Wants to make sure the light goes out.
Speaker C: Must be seen. Light must be collected.
Speaker A: So that's an option. If you want to fan the hammer, it does induce. Let's see. Fighting this pr. You also would have a minus. I want to. From shooting.
Speaker B: Back in the.
Speaker A: Yeah. So to fan the hammer, you have a minus four from the back of your dragonfly to hit stuff and.
Speaker C: Okay.
Speaker A: Or you can just shoot regularly and have minus two. I didn't realize. I forgot there's Friday from horseback.
Speaker B: Because.
Speaker A: Never mind. Cowboy cancels that. You have Cowboy, right? No, I've got Gunslinger.
Speaker D: And.
Speaker A: Oh, Gunslinger also cancels that. Is that Lawman? Yeah, everyone has Lawman. That's the final. Because you guys are Per se. Yeah. You guys are all zero. That's like the. The bottom.
Speaker D: He's Executioner, Grub, Pale Riders.
Speaker C: We haven't quite ranked up. Okay.
Speaker D: He doesn't really follow along our skill.
Speaker A: All right, now, I guess Gunslinger would cancel your penalty from fanning the hammer, but you'd still have the fighting from horseback since you don't have brave calvary or calculated backgrounds. Yeah. Okay. So, yeah, you just do minus two. If you want to fan the hammer.
Speaker C: I would do that because it would stop the progression briefly, if nothing else. And would I use Gunny Hunter with that?
Speaker A: No, it's just straight up and then.
Speaker C: Or just Gunslinger. Or is it just flat?
Speaker A: Well, no, it's. It's just your agility and range, But I forgot these guys are tiny. So you actually have a penalty. Let me check size real quick. I think you do have a penalty die because they're tiny. They're smaller than you. Yeah. So they. You would have a penalty bag shooting at them regardless of what you're doing. Wow.
Speaker C: Okay, so the. The goal is to roll an 11 because there's minus two shooting from. From outback.
Speaker A: Minus.
Speaker D: Be hard.
Speaker A: Yep. No.
Speaker B: More magic in you.
Speaker C: Well, we got a long walk back.
Speaker B: Is there like 10 coming out or is it five.
Speaker A: It's five or V lining for the prisoners and then five are rolling into.
Speaker D: One here.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker D: I have on me.
Speaker A: They're. They're basically going to act as like a single unit. Okay, so.
Speaker C: Can I pick out the. Can I pick out the bat?
Speaker A: They look pretty much identical. And since you're like moving or whatever that was.
Speaker C: No, but they have a commander.
Speaker B: That is that one.
Speaker C: I'm sorry, but you matched out Critter War.
Speaker B: Oh, there you go. I actually haven't seen a Critters film since college.
Speaker A: You can watch all four of them on Rob.
Speaker B: They're pretty old, aren't they?
Speaker A: Yeah, pretty sure it was Colin for.
Speaker B: You when I lost.
Speaker A: Yeah, they're like 80s. Late 80s, I think.
Speaker B: And it was only. It was like. I don't even think it was the first one. It was like a B movie night in college where they don't even take.
Speaker A: The first of the series.
Speaker B: It's like Leprechaun 2. There's no reason to watch the first one. You don't need to, like, get the Baku or the B film. Maybe I'll put that as a second screen.
Speaker C: So if I did. A boon of agility. What does that buff agility buy?
Speaker A: It'll give you a bonus die, I guess, on your, like, next turn.
Speaker C: Okay, I'm going to do that.
Speaker A: Roll.
Speaker C: To set the agility and then if we spend a faith point to up the three Pale Rider characters. Agility.
Speaker A: Yeah, if you want to. Okay.
Speaker C: Nine, ten, eleven.
Speaker A: Yeah, you just need nine or better. Yeah.
Speaker C: So all of a sudden you. You notice you glow a little bit.
Speaker B: Just a grin.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: And you can feel you're. You're moving a little quicker. You're dodging a little better. Now for. For six on a faith point. Could I also do that to the. The dragonflies?
Speaker A: Yeah, as well.
Speaker C: Okay.
Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. Their agility some more double bonus die. Actually against. So against the Critters, they would already have. Oh, never mind. Question. Yeah, never mind. Yeah. All right, so you guys have all gone. Okay, so next turn here, they'll have a bonus to your agility or bonus die to your agility. All right. Yeah. So the printer roll into these guys.
Speaker B: I guess they're.
Speaker A: Oh, yeah, that's right. I don't know. I can put the guy on the other side of their debate. Yeah, they roll in for. These dudes just have a bonus guys. They eat one prisoner.
Speaker B: Did they get a bonus for being clustered up in defensive?
Speaker A: No, that would just be like flat. They don't really have a Defense against. They're just like in rags. I mean just like even kicking at them. I mean critters don't really stick the.
Speaker C: Chain in their mouth.
Speaker A: Well the. The chains there's all around their neck. And then their hands are like. Yeah. Or tied up to their. So no, they're pretty defenseless. All right. And then. All right, so the nitrators plus the oracle guys come in I think. Let's see. Nine plus nine plus four plus sixteen. Yeah. So yeah. So they damage. Since it's four rules. It's D6L and they rolled a six and a one.
Speaker D: So Tious.
Speaker A: So all these guys are branding you. It's out. It doesn't matter.
Speaker D: I roll the ones my armor.
Speaker A: Yeah. So like the gold, like gold. Like you see like little gold flashes on around spades as like traders are like hitting them and like bouncing off and trying to bite them and dodging. Like slashing, blocking and dodging. Yeah. That was all of them because they're. That whole group is just acting as a single horde trying to attack you. All right. So yeah, we're back around to the top.
Speaker D: Continue on my 14 hits.
Speaker C: You get that extra fragility too.
Speaker D: Agility.
Speaker A: Base your melee. No.
Speaker D: 9 points of damage on this guy comes run.
Speaker A: If you want to spend hero points, you can bump those to a mighty successor. Then it gives you cleave and go.
Speaker B: Through both of them.
Speaker A: Yeah, Cleave and second guys.
Speaker D: Yeah. Just transfer the damage.
Speaker A: Yeah. I'm double checking. Mighty success. Carnage immediately make another attack against the same or different. Oh, hold on. There's. Where was it? Oh, Rattle Slayer. Your damage result is the number of rabble opponents taken out. Oh, how much damage did you do?
Speaker D: Like nine.
Speaker A: They're all. Everything there is just laid waste.
Speaker D: I'm gonna pulled out my bowie knife.
Speaker C: And the critters jumped up right at this one swing.
Speaker A: Yep. There. All that stuff is toast.
Speaker B: You see you go through both those guys and just turn around with his bloody sword.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Because all that stuff was rabble. Jeez.
Speaker B: Wait, these guys are dead too.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Everything he's cleared. It's clear Anime stuff. Yeah. Jeez, I forgot Ravel. Slayer.
Speaker D: And then you start walking or going that way.
Speaker A: Oh yeah. I assume you're probably just running and.
Speaker B: Screaming as you come this way. You see, I'm like. I feel your glow. So I'm just going to describe what I do and you can help me figure out if I can actually.
Speaker A: Totally.
Speaker B: Yeah. So he's. He actually when he mounted he flew around. He sees them come down he actually comes in and he's. It's like slow mo for him now he's gonna turn sideways with his darter and he's gonna use his blessed spurs and like, dig in. And then he's just. As he's coming by, he's like sideways on his mouth, just fanning into all of the critters along the crowd. So he's just like. And then just pulls this gun out. So the spurs when mounted, is that only when doing mounted things or is that just generally he's getting.
Speaker A: I say you're doing a mounted. I mean, you're fighting from your mount, so. Yeah, definitely bonus for a horseman.
Speaker B: If I'm doing range, they get a bonus on the range attack.
Speaker A: Yep. That works. Okay.
Speaker B: So is that 2. 2 bonus dies then?
Speaker A: Yes. Okay.
Speaker B: And then what minuses do I have?
Speaker A: It's probably a bonus to agility. You'll have a penalty die because their guys are tiny. So you. Yeah, and then I don't.
Speaker B: I have cowboy and lawman.
Speaker A: Yeah, well, your careers wouldn't.
Speaker B: There were some minuses. You said on mountain.
Speaker A: Right. Which. Yeah, the cowboy would cancel that out for the minus two for shooting. But then I think also isn't the.
Speaker C: There was a size differential.
Speaker A: Yeah. Which we. We count. That was just the penalty dice. So that's remove. Like that. Yeah, yeah, those canceled each other out. And then. Yeah, okay. Yeah, I think that's it.
Speaker B: Okay, now was your thing an additive die or up on this?
Speaker A: It was a bonus. Okay, cool.
Speaker B: So I have four dice plus agility and ranged. I don't know if no skills count in here, do they?
Speaker A: No, it just be agility and range. Okay, bonus die.
Speaker B: 11. How. So what's the thing for hitting targets?
Speaker A: You. You just need nine. Nine or better.
Speaker B: And then how many targets does that hit?
Speaker A: Oh, I was going to say with the fanning the hammer. What we'll do is it's a nine and then up to the toe. So there's five targets you're shooting at. So we would just make. Add four to that. So if you get it, nine hits.
Speaker C: You the first one. Ten hits you the second one.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: Eleven hit you the third one.
Speaker A: Yeah, we'll just do that. So you need 14 to hit all five of them. Or burn. Or burn a hero point and just do Rabble slayer all your damage because you hit.
Speaker B: Yeah, let's do that.
Speaker A: Six. Yeah, that. That would look insane. But you guys are pell r.
Speaker B: Yeah, because he's feeling the glow from Pax.
Speaker C: They got there just in time. To see all these critters just explode.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: Yeah. And he, like, buzzes by you and he's like.
Speaker D: My guy's face would be bloody. And that's like, it. Our clothes don't get dirty.
Speaker A: On your weapon. And then you're like, base.
Speaker B: Actually, he'd probably stay up. Actually, I'm thinking about it.
Speaker A: Looking for additional reserve.
Speaker B: Be scanning for additional things that maybe we didn't know about.
Speaker A: All right. Yeah. Once you give me a role as you scan, check the area. Area.
Speaker C: I probably do the same country scene.
Speaker B: Everything just like, mind.
Speaker A: Yeah. Mine plus, you can. And then I guess, Steve, if you want to just contribute a bonus, die. As you guys are doing teamwork. Yeah.
Speaker C: Okay. Add six.
Speaker A: So. Yeah. So you rolled a six.
Speaker B: Sixteen.
Speaker A: Oh, you're clear.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker A: Say you didn't see anything within, like, two miles.
Speaker C: Okay. You motley crew, start marching the other direction.
Speaker B: I'm going to be looking for keys.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker B: On the bodies. Yeah, actually, I probably would, actually.
Speaker D: I had to check the captain over here.
Speaker B: Look for a key. I know where I dropped him.
Speaker A: Yeah, well, then with the flying around, you'd find him. Yeah. You find a key on the front. Human.
Speaker B: Okay. Yeah. Fly it back and start trying to unchain everybody.
Speaker A: Yeah. You get everybody unchained. No problem. The key.
Speaker C: Check their status, See if healing needs to be done.
Speaker B: They're.
Speaker A: They're beat up and, like, tattered clothes and stuff. But there's no, like, serious wounds or anything. They're still in, like, marching quality.
Speaker B: If he had any weapons, I'd bring those back.
Speaker A: Yeah, those guys all had, like, rifle, guns, sidearm.
Speaker B: I'd bring all that back and start collecting weapons to give to the guys. The storm guy.
Speaker D: Find a guy that's not scared to give him a gun just by looking at him. Look who. The fighter's thing. That guy's big.
Speaker C: I was looking how he's swinging his rifle.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: Revolutionary.
Speaker D: There's one shot.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker D: I hit someone.
Speaker C: There's no time to reload.
Speaker A: Oh, yeah. I was gonna say. So you. You would find five rifles and five sidearms or five pistols, aimed them out.
Speaker C: Yep.
Speaker B: Choose the word yeah.
Speaker D: For the fighter. The people that fight. In their eyes.
Speaker C: Is there a leader amongst the. The people that were captured, like, a higher rank?
Speaker A: Sure.
Speaker D: You might just ask, like, who's a good shot?
Speaker A: You get a couple. But I said I'd say further. I said this would probably be like a mix. A mix of, like, conscripts and regular.
Speaker B: And I would tell him, take turns carrying your brother. He will not need food because they had one that died.
Speaker A: Yeah. So you had the. I guess the high ranking guy in this group. Everyone like points or a couple people say big ears and they point to. Yeah. And he actually does have like quite large ears. But he's a. He's an older guy.
Speaker D: You know about the Rules of Acquisition. Some downplay character actually does. Some of them are crazy and a.
Speaker C: Lot of them cancel out each other.
Speaker A: Uhhuh.
Speaker D: Like 50 of them. I think they found it.
Speaker C: Merchant back down.
Speaker B: You just can't play the female character. You have to walk around naked all the time. Was that the females?
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Yes.
Speaker D: Deep Space Nine dealt with that a little bit.
Speaker B: I love Deep Space Nine so hard.
Speaker C: I am not chewing your food for you.
Speaker A: Yes. And you guys are.
Speaker B: Oh my gosh.
Speaker A: Yeah. So you guys have like 60 miles roughly to like get back to.
Speaker C: Were there any rations on the guards that we dropped?
Speaker A: Yeah, there'd be some. A few. There's definitely not enough fur, but it's a sturdy one. Yeah.
Speaker D: You can always hunt.
Speaker C: Well, that's what I'm thinking is Tuesday with them, one goes out to scout and hunt. We're not going to be making a lot of time.
Speaker B: Are critters shadow creatures? Like do people eat those?
Speaker A: I was gonna say you guys probably wouldn't because you would know they have. They're like semi intelligent. Okay.
Speaker B: That's what I was.
Speaker D: Right. I have hatred for the weird stuff.
Speaker B: I wasn't sure if they were weird, but they were just like animals or something.
Speaker A: No, these are. These are. You guys would definitely. These would definitely be considered the weird because they are not from Sabicola. Same with the shadow orcs.
Speaker B: Do we need to burn things?
Speaker A: That's up to you guys.
Speaker C: Spade kicks from other figures. Hey, Spade headband.
Speaker B: But it's not like stuff coming back to life or anything.
Speaker C: Not taking the chance.
Speaker D: They're not coming back in life.
Speaker B: The two halves come back out.
Speaker A: I was gonna say that would probably be a. Probably one of the features of just your blessed weapons is like. And you guys would probably like. As you were shooting them. So you're like shooting gold and silver like light out of your guns. Basically.
Speaker B: It's like burning them.
Speaker A: It's. Yeah, it's burning them. Turning to ash.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker A: If.
Speaker C: If they're closed and piled into one. Body packs would probably do a purification.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Yeah. You guys could gather them up and.
Speaker C: And I. I don't know if that. It probably just turn them all to ash and drop them in. Wouldn't be a lot of smoke.
Speaker A: I was going to say. Yeah, I could. I could see this being like a. A posy ritual where you guys like make a triangle or whatever and then you guys do the rights and it's basically like burns the symbol into the sun. Like. Yeah. You like, consecrate the ground with the symbol of Mithras and it like burns the. The ash.
Speaker D: Works for me.
Speaker C: Except for maybe that headband. If you kept it.
Speaker B: Do you want it?
Speaker D: I want to keep it. That's unclean.
Speaker C: It was insincery.
Speaker D: My guys do crazy.
Speaker A: And like this like. And I guess the harken back to your guys is the Fel Riders. Like when you were in the Hellrider, all like, you heard like this was kind of like the schism you guys were hearing was between people. Like the fanatics. Like people like Pax kills them all. Not packs, but spades and morgue. Like being like the more fanatical Warhammer 40k type people versus the other non fanaticals.
Speaker C: They're gone now. They're far too.
Speaker A: Yeah. But I'd say, like, your guy is more of like the original intention of what the Hellwriters were and the original traditions and stuff. And these guys are more of the new Trinity. Trinity style of. That's been gaining more and more, I guess, becoming more and more normal over the last 200 years.
Speaker B: Start leaning back. I'll scout forward a little bit. Still inside of everyone, but like looking glass forward. Make sure the way is clear.
Speaker D: I'll stay on the ground with these guys.
Speaker A: M be in between.
Speaker B: So I guess I'd be kind of like serpentine a little bit back and forth. And then using my spyglass too, if.
Speaker C: If you find any good hunting.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker D: For food too.
Speaker B: You might see me dive occasionally.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker B: Take something.
Speaker C: Are there any other villages around this path that might have been taken out by the war?
Speaker A: No, this is kind of like a weird. It's mostly some border dispute and then probably also kind of like trying to like, control some of the mountain. Yeah.
Speaker B: It's probably war torn.
Speaker A: Yeah. This place. Yeah.
Speaker C: I was thinking, even with war torn, if there were villages before it broke out, there might be something to scavenge.
Speaker A: On the way back.
Speaker B: Like, no people, but things.
Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. Now, this is a fairly. Other than Red river and Cattle Fort, those are pretty much the only settlements.
Speaker D: Okay.
Speaker A: That were there.
Speaker C: That's not like we can take them down the river.
Speaker A: Take us their own direction.
Speaker D: They can go on their own and then go up there. It's only a day away.
Speaker C: Run interference.
Speaker B: Yeah. How Here it Took our way or fanatical every like. All right, get your guns. We're gonna go take out the fort.
Speaker D: My guy be like, let's go.
Speaker B: Except for our mission orders.
Speaker D: We should bring them.
Speaker A: Yeah, I'll use this one. So there is. There is actually an old, like, old trail or a trail between these two, I guess.
Speaker B: Specifically what were our orders?
Speaker D: You guys go back.
Speaker A: So it was to go rescue them. Which, depending on how you feel like, this could be like, all right, they're rescued. They walk back.
Speaker D: Mistress provides.
Speaker A: But you guys were close enough. Like, so we'll say you guys haven't set out yet. Like, I mean, you're 20 miles from the fort.
Speaker D: How big or do we know how big that fort is?
Speaker A: You guys would probably. I mean, you guys would have ran if not you other wind runners. It's around. There's a. There's roughly a legion there. So we're not taking it. I mean, how many.
Speaker D: How many troops are they considered rabble. That's so real.
Speaker A: So we'll break it. So, yeah, so. So there's a commander, and that's essentially a rival, which would be like equal to what you guys are character. Like that you guys are playing. And then there's the 200. 200 lieutenants, which are toughs, which were the two guys that you picked up. So they have more HP and there's like 800 grapple regular. They wouldn't necessarily be all there. Like, they wouldn't probably be all there, but that's like, roughly what station there.
Speaker B: It would be challenging.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: And it is like that. It's a forward operating advanced R multiple sessions.
Speaker B: So I was thinking that Morph's feeling, you know what?
Speaker A: Right. But if you want to do a hit and run, you guys totally.
Speaker B: I'm gonna actually call out. My flaw here is he's arrogant. Throw a penalty die. In a social interaction where the GM believes your character's arrogance will have a negative impact on the situation. If we're this close to a fort and I just got the high pro glow from my friend, it might be.
Speaker A: Like, we have guns and you guys. I mean, this wouldn't. I would say this would not be out of the ordinary.
Speaker D: I. My guy is savage for weird.
Speaker A: So are you cool with it if you guys want to go?
Speaker B: Well, I'm just saying, like, I want to have more roll. Either his boastful or his arrogance about, like, making a suggestion out loud to his friends about maybe we should or.
Speaker D: Just maybe let's go.
Speaker A: But yeah, if you are. If I mean, that's if you guys would be. That would not be out of the ordinary for fanatics now.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker A: You might just pretty much.
Speaker C: No, I'm dealing with wounded here.
Speaker D: Pax can deal with that. We can go deal with that.
Speaker B: So penalty is subtracted.
Speaker A: It'd be a penalty die is what.
Speaker B: You just take your. Your lowest.
Speaker A: Yeah, you two. Your two lowest. Okay.
Speaker B: And so is this an appeal rule?
Speaker A: Yeah, if you're appeal. Yeah if you're appealing. So yeah we do opposed roles though. So if someone's. Oh yeah, it's not going to be.
Speaker B: A very confident role because that's. It's a four. Maybe he brings back some meat and it's like you know, we're not that.
Speaker C: Far from the tax is cocky enough. You. You think you could.
Speaker A: No. So you guys would know like the fort has a. Like a wall. It's actually here. I'll just.
Speaker C: Maybe if we get some explosives we can do some high fly bombing range.
Speaker B: My convincing is not very good.
Speaker A: So this is like what the place looks like. Roughly fortified on a river that's big. It's lit by like glowing plants that shift colors kind of. There is an infirmary there.
Speaker B: I failed my role.
Speaker A: And there's an observatory.
Speaker B: I mean I guess you guys have to roll. You said it's opposed.
Speaker A: I was gonna say if you're. If you. If your character would oppose it, then do it. No just to see because you never know.
Speaker C: Yeah, mine would definitely oppose.
Speaker B: If I convince you on a four.
Speaker A: I'm gonna Let's no.
Speaker C: Roll the nine. That would probably involve an appeal. So that would take it to a. Almost 11.
Speaker A: Well then you could also use your. Your career, whatever career.
Speaker C: And the preacher says no.
Speaker A: Yeah, a proper career would be applied for that.
Speaker B: Even with bounty hunter I don't get six.
Speaker A: Yeah okay.
Speaker B: I'm just like well we have the opportunity.
Speaker D: We'll go next time.
Speaker A: But no like. And then like just as doing hit and runs like you guys could hit for a blank. Like fly in there and hit a building or something. Like wipe out some troops and then bounce like you guys are fast enough.
Speaker C: Don't go pooping ant nest. We'll come back.
Speaker B: Yeah, maybe more just makes a arrogant comment of these were so easy. We only need maybe two or three more of us. We can take the whole city. But hopefully maybe we'll come back in the morning after after some brew.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: So little bit of coffee.
Speaker C: I'm sure you can.
Speaker B: They can't stand before us little morning glow brew. They need to be educated.
Speaker D: Light.
Speaker C: In the Twilight, the light shines all the brighter.
Speaker B: Well said.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker B: Reluctantly I go back to flight the.
Speaker D: Other I just stay on and grounded.
Speaker C: Bring my food.
Speaker A: So once you. You're scouting. So give me a roll.
Speaker B: Is this like a mind.
Speaker A: Yeah, this is what he did mind about.
Speaker B: And then. Okay, so be. And then a psych bonus.
Speaker A: Sure. Yeah.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker A: Mount.
Speaker B: It doesn't appeal to this, I don't think.
Speaker C: Does it?
Speaker B: No, because that's Ranger.
Speaker A: You're not.
Speaker B: You're just.
Speaker A: 15.
Speaker B: Oh, actually sorry.
Speaker C: No, that was getting that for. And all of a sudden they send people out.
Speaker A: How dare you.
Speaker B: No, no, no. I can't do math. Sorry.
Speaker D: One equals us.
Speaker C: The level of on your side as well.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Oh, well, I met r like rival is basically like. They have a full character sheet. So they. They could be. They're asy like.
Speaker B: Yeah, it turns out.
Speaker A: And you would know that they would. There would be some sort of commander there that's using ant like and that's worse when you're outnumbered using powers.
Speaker D: Just playing.
Speaker B: That's right.
Speaker A: So yeah. 1212. Okay.
Speaker C: That's where the sword's hidden.
Speaker B: We're taking it back.
Speaker D: I don't like that problem.
Speaker A: So. Yeah, I'll say. You guys don't run into any. I guess. Are you guys using the trailer? Are you bushwhacking? I'd use the trail. Trail?
Speaker C: For the most part.
Speaker B: Yeah. It would just be way too slow. Slow.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker C: Especially with their. Their current physical state.
Speaker B: And we've kind of covered this trail.
Speaker D: A little bit already.
Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. So you guys are zooming out from there. You guys say you make about 15 miles before you need to stop for the night because these guys aren't in condition. Plus your daughters need rest too. And I would say you guys probably like every hour you hit, you land and rest for 5, 10 minutes to let them rest up.
Speaker C: Do we know roughly where any other units would be in the.
Speaker A: Yeah, you would assume, like, since this is like a. Across a trail slash road or whatever, there would probably be constant fighting. And we'll say these guys got captured as they were like retreating from. So you could potentially find.
Speaker C: I'm just thinking if we came across another unit with wagons or whatnot, we could hand them off.
Speaker B: Go back and.
Speaker A: Take the fort possibly. Oh, yeah. How do you guys want to do night watch?
Speaker C: Probably split it up not only between us, but those that are in better shape.
Speaker D: My guy would just take double one here. Just do the soldier thing where it's just like I'm awake, you know, I'll.
Speaker C: Sleep When I get back.
Speaker D: Yeah. It's the discipline Mithras provides.
Speaker C: Give you a blessing of stamina.
Speaker A: Yeah. If you want roll it up.
Speaker D: I be discipline.
Speaker A: Tireless.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker C: Yeah. So nine and six for the creature and the nine. This is six. Roll the nine.
Speaker A: Nice. Yeah, that's. You just needed a nine or better.
Speaker C: You're staying up all night. I don't have coffee. When I got a little mes.
Speaker A: Give.
Speaker D: Me a watch which is garbage.
Speaker A: Yeah. We have camping stage start. Actually. Let's see now it's just making. Yeah. So that's just. Okay. It's mindful career.
Speaker D: Be brave. If I could.
Speaker A: Yeah. Quiet night. All right. In the morning.
Speaker D: Here they have a book, don't they?
Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. Like codex. It's got like rituals and all of that. And I guess also the teachings of.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: First not to go look ahead again. And also look for animals take actions.
Speaker C: Trust me, they're not picky. It's not clear bow eggs would be nice.
Speaker B: But.
Speaker C: It'S an enchanted bolt.
Speaker D: Maybe morning it just eggs. Oh man. We missed our chance.
Speaker A: Yeah. If you're. If you're scouting, you go ahead and give me a line. Plus violent hunter.
Speaker D: Use the eggs before nightfall. So disappear. Can you just go through town selling eggs? Everyone's like, oh, I got all these eggs and just caught in the morning.
Speaker C: The only eggs are in the bowl.
Speaker B: Yeah, I'm sorry. That's seven. Eight. That's eight.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker B: I should.
Speaker A: Said you can spend it here at 0.3. It's going to be successful.
Speaker B: We were one or all.
Speaker A: It's all of them. I think. Yeah, I think it's. Any guys. Ouch. It's still eight. Yeah. Three.
Speaker B: One. One and two. One.
Speaker A: One.
Speaker D: Good dream.
Speaker B: That's right. Oh, you can set one of the bold dice to a four.
Speaker A: Yeah, that's gonna.
Speaker B: So that's the case.
Speaker A: I could just make it a 6. 79.
Speaker B: 10.
Speaker A: So it's a 10. All right.
Speaker B: I just need to be successful.
Speaker A: All right. So let's see. Scouting ahead. All right. So you have to pick one of these. Get the drop on whatever lies ahead. Discernment beneficial aspect from the train. Make a discovery or notice a sign. What is this from?
Speaker C: Those are dungeon world.
Speaker A: Yeah, this is very dungeon.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker A: Then you notice a sign of nearby danger. Which one of those would you like?
Speaker B: I missed those.
Speaker D: Sorry.
Speaker A: I missed the first drop on whatever lies ahead. Discern a beneficial aspect of the terrain. Make a discovery or notice a sign of nearby danger.
Speaker B: I guess we can avoid it. I know the knows the sign of Danger.
Speaker A: I say yeah. You spot a squad or did I? No, I don't actually. Yeah. So you see the squad leader with 10 guys following them. I actually had less guys.
Speaker B: 10 guys or like bad guys are more prisoners.
Speaker A: Bad guys.
Speaker B: And I would find that to the group and like go off to the side and let him pass. Continue on or bushwhack them.
Speaker D: Bushwhack fanatics. My guy would.
Speaker B: I could let him start to pass us and then I was gonna say.
Speaker A: You had spot them like far enough like a mile or two away like because you're, you're zooming, right.
Speaker B: And I have my spyglass.
Speaker A: Yeah. Like. And you know what, you're a tracker. So you know when the jungle moves.
Speaker B: And they're on the trail coming our way.
Speaker A: No, I would say they're, they're like heading towards the trail like from like a different squad that's moving in to like help fight at the. Or engaged with the trailhead again.
Speaker B: Would we be able to like get ahead of them and get set up?
Speaker D: Are they gonna get on the trail and come towards.
Speaker A: I say they, I'll say they're heading in your direction but they're like a two miles out.
Speaker B: That'd be like, okay because of your last response to me. I'd like land next to you and be like, hey.
Speaker D: Squad coming. Meet them here and go meet them.
Speaker B: I'd say we just set up. These guys have some guns. Let's just ambush them on the trail.
Speaker C: Disappear. I have no idea where y' all went.
Speaker D: We're just talking on this.
Speaker B: Oh yeah.
Speaker D: During one of your breaks?
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker D: You just got back. I'm like, let's meet up here. We can set up ambushes in the book. Like get the guys in the bushes.
Speaker B: And we can take their guns and rations and equip the rest of our guys with funds and or more of them. And then I tell you with you present. Yeah. Hey, we've made a decision.
Speaker D: I'm doing nuts.
Speaker B: Let's get set up on the trail and just kind of like one sided.
Speaker A: Just like, oh, I'm gonna stay on the trail.
Speaker D: I'm just gonna stand there and wait for them while everyone's on the side.
Speaker B: So it'd be like if you're on the.
Speaker D: I'm doing like the anime like or thing where it's just like I'm just there waiting.
Speaker B: We're just in the bushes on the side like all line death. Like the British like ready to go through. Although I probably would stay somewhat known.
Speaker C: They come up and say there's some weird guy in the middle of the road.
Speaker D: We'll see what happens.
Speaker A: I would say you guys would know like from fighting the shadow orcs particularly like they hate you. Like I say it would be like the same like. Yeah, it's. It's light versus dark. Like that kind of like basic. And they might not their shadow.
Speaker D: There's one of them. Let's get them.
Speaker A: And then they very much would like. And then like killing a pel Rider is like my guy.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: So you. Yeah, I would say you would. This would be something you would have totally done in the past.
Speaker D: Oh definitely my guy.
Speaker A: Hatred like and you're huge too. Like you're almost like six, eight. Yeah. You're like three feet taller than I guess two. Two whole feet huge back then. 3.5. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker B: I just go like find a fairly tall tree and my daughter just like sticks to it.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: Wait for him to come by.
Speaker A: Yeah. There would be. Yeah, that would totally be a student.
Speaker C: It's the hunting blind.
Speaker B: What's that? Well they can't see me, but I can see that.
Speaker A: Okay. So let's.
Speaker C: I guess I'm giving command to that.
Speaker D: You're in the ambush somewhere.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker D: Unless you want to sit in the.
Speaker C: Middle of the road.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: I was gonna say we've got all these wounded.
Speaker A: They can.
Speaker B: They can be back in the trees and we've got five guns.
Speaker D: Right?
Speaker C: Yeah. But they need somebody to keep them from going off early.
Speaker D: Right.
Speaker A: Right. Yeah. They would have 10 guns. They would be. I'd say the. The storm guard. I mean it's pretty. It's fairly disciplined. I mean they're not. They get put as soldiers before they go in there. So like they would know how to fight.
Speaker B: Just give them that glow.
Speaker D: You gave us.
Speaker A: Your faith points too. Well, all your any use points are refilled. That'd be part of like your morning.
Speaker C: 19 of them.
Speaker A: Yeah, there'd be 19 of them. Bye bye. You'd have to burn three faith points to hit. To hit 18 of them to get might be all of those massive.
Speaker C: But the blow from the brush would ruin the surprise.
Speaker A: I said you would. It wouldn't. I say it's obvious when you're doing it. But like what's the. Like what's left over on them Wouldn't necessarily have to be obvious. So you could bless them and it would. It wouldn't have to be like Sampora or anything. It's when you're doing it, it's like people's like oh, that guy is coming in or casting you. Okay. So yeah, if you want to bless 18 Noble.
Speaker C: Kind of fear.
Speaker A: Morale.
Speaker C: Make them fearless or up their agility. No, for sure. Yeah. Agility is for shooting.
Speaker A: I say you could. I mean you could even up like there. Because these guys basically like so stat wise they would be like all zero. Like all flat rolls. So if you gave them a bonus, that would be huge. So I mean you could just make. So you can just make their. You could make their shooting like you could improve their site.
Speaker B: Gatling guns coming out of the trees. Yeah, it's a light gap. It's mounted on the. On the darter.
Speaker D: So the guy on there with it.
Speaker A: That's actually a really like sick idea. Maybe that will be something that goes.
Speaker B: On the fat darter.
Speaker D: A darter.
Speaker A: You could. I would say you probably could actually.
Speaker C: One pistol on each leg.
Speaker D: There we go. Training to shoot guns.
Speaker A: Gatling guns do exist in the blood sundown. So you can actually I just.
Speaker B: They had a picture of one in there too.
Speaker C: So yeah, there'd be a sort of.
Speaker A: Field cannons, but that'd be much too heavy for a dart. Maybe put that on a talent. Yeah. So you gotta bless all. Yeah. Hit 18 of them and then tell one guy just to watch the body.
Speaker B: Or just bless the ones with guns.
Speaker D: Yeah, that's the ones with guns.
Speaker A: Yeah. So there are 10 guns.
Speaker C: So we bless the ones with guns. So that would be two.
Speaker A: Yeah, two.
Speaker C: Well, so that would include you two.
Speaker B: Oh, okay.
Speaker A: Yeah, there you go. That would work.
Speaker D: The other guys that don't have guns.
Speaker B: Or yourself and leave me out. I have some bonuses for being on the mount.
Speaker A: That's true. Yeah. They say however you guys want to fight. Yeah.
Speaker B: Bless yourself in that and then that'll optimize. Everyone will have some kind of boon.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker B: Oh, dang. Got nine natural.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker A: Better, because here you're burning the faith points. All the get the run.
Speaker B: My brothers feel the power. Look at each other like.
Speaker D: Let'S call everyone brother.
Speaker A: He ch.
Speaker C: Channels his inner preacher. You have been summoned. Routing rails. Now how would I time that if that's only good for one round.
Speaker D: Right before you shoot?
Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker C: The word of encouragement.
Speaker A: Or you wait till they actually he gets engaged and then you're just like.
Speaker B: Yeah, it's the command of fire. But it's like the big command.
Speaker C: It's the enchanted command.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: Because it says open up the gates of life. Because yeah, you guys, when you're casting and you're speaking Latin.
Speaker B: Mostly said the encouraging words.
Speaker C: Unfortunately we have no holy hand grenades.
Speaker B: That's what we needed.
Speaker D: A holy hand grenade.
Speaker C: But yeah, there would be a. Don't fire till you hear the. The blessing of the earthrisk be upon you.
Speaker A: Yeah. Or like when party like when I say now. Or. Or you could just use. You do your spell and then you say fire and then. Yeah. Smite. He also might let him have it. Okay.
Speaker C: Pick an advantageous ground. We want the high ground.
Speaker D: Yeah. All on one side. Don't hang, shoot.
Speaker B: That's why I was saying you line them up like the British.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Just the more hidden patriot.
Speaker C: Everybody gets one tomahawk, one single fire pistol. Yeah.
Speaker B: I haven't seen that in ages.
Speaker A: Yeah. Okay. All right, so you guys get set up and we'll do engagement role.
Speaker B: This opening, is it like a two handed sword saber.
Speaker A: Okay. Calvary saber. But it seems old and I'd say probably like when you're actually like dried out, it actually like it has like gold plate.
Speaker C: You know, take so long. We probably get a chunk of wood or something for you sit on in.
Speaker D: The middle of the room.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: Ah, it's about time you got here.
Speaker D: Pretty much. It's just sitting, waiting like.
Speaker A: All right. Yeah. So engagement roll 2d6 plus mine plus an appropriate career. So this is like getting an advantage on your priority role.
Speaker B: Be brave and shiny.
Speaker A: It's always rain.
Speaker C: Hit your blade.
Speaker A: Oh, it's actually only cloudy.
Speaker D: But the rain doesn't bother our clothes.
Speaker A: Oh, they might get wet but they don't get dirty. I said maybe even like yourself doesn't like your skin and stuff doesn't get dirty. I don't know.
Speaker D: It's a pinch of blood on it.
Speaker B: It's like the opposite of like dragon age or like you're cut scene.
Speaker D: You guys like covered in blood does the same thing.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: All right. Yeah. So why don't you get. I guess we'll have spades make the engagement role because he's. So is this makes sense?
Speaker D: Is it mine plus plus appropriate career which mind an initiative or is it.
Speaker A: Mine mine plus appropriate career which probably braves your thing. You're just still on there waiting. So let's see.
Speaker D: 13, 13.
Speaker A: Okay. All right. Yeah. Yeah. So you guys. So that means you guys notice each other at the same time. Yep. So we do. So yeah. So now it's initiative role for. For you three guys. So this is mind plus initiative six for all of you guys. So it's basically just to see if you go before or after the tufts.
Speaker C: There was no bonus to that.
Speaker D: It's nine plus initiative.
Speaker C: No.
Speaker B: I rolled three dice.
Speaker A: Oh, yeah. No, you.
Speaker B: So you.
Speaker C: Three. It's like. No, that doesn't feel.
Speaker A: 11. Yeah, yeah. Just says nine or better. So. Yeah, so you guys are all.
Speaker C: Initiative is three.
Speaker A: Yeah. So you guys are all acting. So there's two. There's two mounted guys and then 10 on foot. So the mounted guys are toughs. And then everyone. And the other 10 guys are Bravo. And this is a split human Shadow Orc group. So, like, half and half. Yeah, there's 10 and 10 of the regular dudes.
Speaker C: Shadow Orcs are like, imagine the humans.
Speaker A: And these guys all are armed with guns. Then you see some of the shadow works. They do still have, like, axes and stuff. They still have some medieval weaponry on them. But all the. Everyone else. But they all have rifles. They're moving at a decent. You know, they're marching. And then they see you and just like.
Speaker D: What?
Speaker A: And then you hear the orcs just, like, roar and they come, like, running. But you guys. So you guys are up.
Speaker D: I want to do is. I'm standing up. I want to. If I can cast a spell that I just, like, either move really fast or I just, like. And I'm in front of them, grab.
Speaker C: Them both off their horse.
Speaker A: I say you can also just. You could also just run up there, but. Yeah, you want to run up and strike them. Yeah. You're not that far. Yeah. Because they'd be, like, coming out of the bush and, like, you're, like, onto the trail. Like, you're just there all of a sudden.
Speaker D: 16.
Speaker A: Yep.
Speaker D: That hit it. 11 points of damage.
Speaker A: All right. That kills one of them.
Speaker D: Yeah. I'd probably actually just cleave through, like, cleave out his horse and then just.
Speaker A: Hit him on the ground. I said 11 damage. That would actually be enough to, like, go through the horse and the guy. If you wanted to straight up kill the horse and the dude.
Speaker C: I'm like, we could use that horse.
Speaker A: You're thinking that as you're.
Speaker B: It's rations now.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Oh, it would be. Yeah. So you guys are. You guys are up.
Speaker B: I would probably launch off the tree when you guys fire, like, as the. You're in the. You're the starting salvo.
Speaker A: Oh.
Speaker C: As they get up close. Because they probably run after seeing their guy down.
Speaker A: Oh, yeah, they're coming, like, because they kind of like, started coming. Yeah, I guess they came through and are, like, spreading out and, like.
Speaker C: So my turn is blessing and then smite.
Speaker A: Okay. Yeah.
Speaker C: Fire. So 10 of when I hear that.
Speaker B: Blessing and the fire go off and I like, Launch off the tree.
Speaker D: But can I maybe do the circle behind hero point doing my excess?
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: Oh, they're gonna kill them both in probably.
Speaker D: Yep. I'll do carnage. What, you mean we make another attack against the same or different target. Can't spend hero points on second attack.
Speaker A: Yeah, Go for it.
Speaker B: It's like you go through the horse and, like, discontinue.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Comes around.
Speaker B: That's gonna be more than enough.
Speaker D: Yeah, that's more than enough. On the dice, that's eight plus nine.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker D: Ten points of damage.
Speaker A: Yep. Yep. Kills that guy, too.
Speaker C: And it's worse.
Speaker A: That one wasn't quite kill.
Speaker D: No, I don't think it would have been through the horse. And it's like, going up. So, like changing it and, like, stabbing the guys.
Speaker C: Do you want me to re blast or reroll that?
Speaker A: No, because you already did it. Right. Yeah, no, that's. That's totally fine.
Speaker C: So please drop both of them and I'm speaking Latin into the side. And as soon as I'm done, then.
Speaker B: The firing squad goes off.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Yes.
Speaker B: And I launch off the tree.
Speaker A: All the tufts are dead. So. Yeah. So basically what's happening now is. I was going to say half the guys are actually. I think all of them probably would, because they wouldn't really know the other dudes were in the bushes yet. So they'd actually just see Spade standing there. So they're all going to be focused on him. So what is. What are you doing? I guess Morg, like, as soon as.
Speaker B: I'm on the tree, like, basically, like, I guess if we're all on this side, I'm on the tree, you know, they're all assembled. As soon as they all fire, or he does the blessing and they fire, I pop off the top of that tree, like, come behind, and it's going to start shooting target.
Speaker A: Okay. So I guess you're. You're holding your turn to the rabble symptom. Okay.
Speaker B: Or at the same time as they're firing. I'm launching and firing. Well, it's.
Speaker A: Yeah, it's. Well, it. Like, it's.
Speaker C: He doesn't want to waste.
Speaker A: It's the initiative thing. So, like, so basically you're delaying your turn till the rabble go, which is these guys, and your guys are rabble. So. So the turn order is turn order stuff.
Speaker B: Yeah. I just don't want to give away our turn and. And waste them. Well, waste the surprise of them shooting.
Speaker A: Wait. Well, so.
Speaker B: So that, like.
Speaker A: I mean, it's combat, so it. It won't. We'll say it's. It's not gonna matter. So.
Speaker B: Well then when he starts. You can act. When he starts speaking Latin, I just like pulled off the tree and he's just like, you know, he's up high in the trees, like comes behind and I'm just gonna start shooting.
Speaker A: Yeah. So. So these guys will all shoot at him. At him. So that's five. Five guys.
Speaker C: Unless the shadow works are like flinging axes.
Speaker A: No, they all like. They're rushing but shooting at him. But they. That's a good rule. So plus all those guys is trying to shoot you. So that's like a like 19 they hit. And they have some horde rules. So they have a D6L of damage. So they roll this one and six again.
Speaker D: And I roll the one to prevent that same rule.
Speaker A: Yeah, see you're. So that's all F. Oh, then the. The Wonder Woman, then those and then the. Then the other guys fire anime with no sword. So those guys don't drop the bullet in half. Yeah. So the squad behind so you're the prisoner is all fire. They roll terrible. Even when the bonus die. They rolled a sick. So all their shots are just big wall of fire. Everyone has muskets apparently. So. Yeah. So if you want to. Yeah, you can. As this is all happening. You've launched it or coming down.
Speaker B: I just want to understand. I get. When I'm mounted, I get the horseman bonus for range attack. But do I also get the spurs bonus?
Speaker A: Yeah, because I'm defining that because you're doing a mounted action.
Speaker B: So that's two. And then I'm gonna try to fan targets.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker B: So is that minus a die or. No, they're not small.
Speaker A: No. Okay, so this is flat roll and it's basically nine up to plus six.
Speaker B: I hold 6,664.
Speaker C: Oh well, that's explosive.
Speaker B: Which is the opposite of. I've been rolling four ones in two.
Speaker A: Turns because so mighty success.
Speaker B: So yeah, double six plus this 12.
Speaker A: So 15, 16. So roll your damage. So I'm assuming you're going to do rabble Slayer. Yeah, because this is all rabble that's left. So yeah, just roll your damage and let's see how many dudes you kill.
Speaker B: Can I reroll?
Speaker A: If you want to reroll all of them. Yeah. Well, you can do one or you can roll any number of dice.
Speaker B: So five.
Speaker A: Well. Well, so let's see if that's actually because your fanning roll was like what, like eight? Well, I guess you have six. I guess you would kill. You could Kill six guys. You have six rounds.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker A: Is all you have in your fanny. Okay. Yeah. So we'll just assume. All right. Yeah. So six guys drop as they get straight. His signature like sideways.
Speaker B: Spurs dug into the side.
Speaker A: So. Yeah. And then your gun is like glowing kind of like gold hot as it's. And it's kind of like sizzling so it won't fire next round. Okay. So it'll have to read I think go around as it recharges. All right. Yeah. So we're back to the top of the order.
Speaker B: So heroes, you can't see that Morg is consternated that all 10 of those guys whiffed their shots.
Speaker C: You think Morg's upset?
Speaker D: Keep going through. Yep.
Speaker A: And they're like all like. They're actually bikes. They're actually gonna. They're breaking and running. Yeah. That definitely hit.
Speaker B: Just the noise of all the other guns firing would be intimidating.
Speaker D: 12 damage. Then I'll just spend the thing to make.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker D: Ravel just wade through.
Speaker C: The packs. Just looks like something's good.
Speaker B: There's like you've seen that like in shows where that's like. Just because the guys have pistol, it doesn't mean anything when a guy like that is up close to him with a blade.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker C: That's why Pax was looking at his gun. Huh?
Speaker A: Yeah. I'd say too like when you get that doesn't have to be a calvary saber. So yeah. If you want it to be some older like two handed. Like I just need like a broad sword play more. Yeah. Build two end so that. That would actually change your damage diet. But it's already skilled too. So you've been stepping up your damage.
Speaker D: Yeah. It's 2D6.
Speaker A: Okay. Good. Yeah.
Speaker D: Yeah. It'd probably be like a two hander.
Speaker A: So. Yeah. Freaking laid waste straight from firing squad and then firing squad. So.
Speaker B: It was just intimidation factor.
Speaker C: They got it done.
Speaker A: Intimidation. They did.
Speaker B: But to have him wait in kill the. The two bosses, then have 10 guns go out from the bushes and then a pterodactyl come out and darter come out. Murder bot the back, back row.
Speaker C: Go down and collect whatever rations they have.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: And guns equip the rest of the crew.
Speaker D: I have my horse. I didn't kill that horse.
Speaker A: I killed.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: Hope it didn't run off.
Speaker A: It probably would have. Yeah.
Speaker D: With all the shooting.
Speaker A: But that. But at the same time it might have actually just like stood there or not run.
Speaker D: I think I ran through that horse then like as that guy was about to swing Like I dodged it and just grabbed him. Let's ran them through since I'm 6, 6 8.
Speaker A: And you have giant strength too. Yeah, I could throw this horse if.
Speaker B: It was being difficult at all. I have be spring.
Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah you could. Yeah I'd say you would. Yeah I'll say you could. You track. You could track down the horse and get it and come back.
Speaker D: Put wounded guy or something on there, move it slow.
Speaker B: And if there's not enough guns we could at least give them. There should be melee weapons to the other.
Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. So we'll say the reason those guys like the the firing squad missed so bad is because those guys all were loaded with the hell cartridges. So you just hear the terrible screaming sound. They're just like. And like one like glances off your Mithra shield. Oh yeah. And then those guys are like flinched and all mist. Yeah. So yeah. You guys, you collect. I mean there's 10 rifles there. It is all just like hell cartridges.
Speaker D: Start stacking bodies and do the ritual again.
Speaker B: This was a good day.
Speaker D: Very good.
Speaker C: We don't have a wagon.
Speaker B: We have enough people. We can almost build one. It was a town wagon of bones, right?
Speaker C: Yeah. Well that's what I think is if we hit a. An abandoned town we might be able to find something.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: Usable.
Speaker B: Commandeer it. Yeah. Do the ritual and then start marching. I'll go forward again. Start scouting.
Speaker A: All right. Yeah. Give me a travel. Yeah.
Speaker D: Mine.
Speaker A: Bounty hunter. I guess for found one.
Speaker B: Whatever works Valley Hunter is probably more relevant.
Speaker A: Four so 14. Got it. Nothing option. So nothing happens during travel.
Speaker D: You know what?
Speaker A: There we go.
Speaker B: Answer nothing.
Speaker D: This one no new discovery. I'll never get to our question.
Speaker B: You discover a labyrinth.
Speaker A: Let's go.
Speaker C: We'll take our 10 bob. What are you doing here?
Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. So I'll add that as a traveling that when you're scouting ahead you don't find anything. No, we just got.
Speaker D: I guess that's like discovering things on our last.
Speaker A: Yeah. Andrew.
Speaker D: Vanessa.
Speaker B: Yeah. We found a lot of things that.
Speaker D: Went and she had the best. So she was always scouting and it was always like discover something new.
Speaker B: Yep. Cuz treasure.
Speaker A: Well I guess you guys could do scouting or navigate because you're kind of doing both while you're flying. So. Yeah. So that one does have it. You avoid dangers and distractions and make good time.
Speaker D: So we like take forever to get anywhere. So it was always let's just go for something.
Speaker A: Yeah. Since you're flying. Yeah I'd totally say you can. Okay.
Speaker B: And then we just have nothing to just puff it back.
Speaker A: How's it feel soldier?
Speaker C: Lost everything now you got a gun.
Speaker B: Yep.
Speaker A: So I'll say after like the end of that day you find you run into friend like reinforcements that are coming that are moving up the up the trail to like take over this area again.
Speaker B: We just like that.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker D: Encouraging west and fat and trust in mitras.
Speaker C: People hand of their own and pour back.
Speaker A: Yep. You guys head back and get rest and be ready for your next bishop. So that will be the end.
Speaker D: Go. Pretty sure we met Spades. We met a Spades.
Speaker A: Oh that's right. You guys did. We met Spades.
Speaker B: I haven't remember writing that as a note somewhere.
Speaker A: I'll have to go.
Speaker D: That's where we met Ho because it was all tool names. We're not Ho. But he said.
Speaker A: Oh that's right.
Speaker D: He said something.
Speaker A: Oh and he was a renrunner too. I think we met Spades. Yeah he was because I think he was the guy that was at the train.
Speaker D: Yes.
Speaker A: I'll have to go look that up.
Speaker D: He was also the guy that asked him like who's this? We talked to Spades.
Speaker C: I say does that mean you're Spades Junior?
Speaker A: No. You're probably. That guy's just got retconned into this dude. I think I'll go look him up.
Speaker D: Two handed.
Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. Change that. Say as a two handed sword unique to you.
Speaker D: It's just a guts berserker sword.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: Not Cloudbuster.
Speaker B: Maybe something out of the building.
Speaker D: I did put in Gutsor. There is a gut sword in everything.
Speaker A: Oh yeah.
Speaker D: Three people. That's. It's hard and it's fast. It's way faster now.
Speaker B: So I saw a couple comments that were like what? I'm a soulless experience guy wouldn't die twice.
Speaker D: Yeah. Also they're actually balancing it next week. The solo is not but it's a.
Speaker A: Blast with three people and then. Yeah. So next week. Yeah. We'll be back to do pizza. Is that work for everyone?
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: We still alive?
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker D: Survivor's parent.
Speaker A: No. I think in like in the future one shots we may do pill riders because I think I'm gonna.
Speaker D: I've.
Speaker A: I don't know about you guys. I've had my fill of frontier scum. At least the system one and I want to play more of this everyone look it's all fun to be and if we want to do if we want to do Coyote gang it's not a big deal. I thought we were going to be punching them. I thought about it. But then I was like, that's not going to be that fun. I'd rather that be like, Coyote gang is running from like, Hell Rider seed running from these nasty guys that I drive.
Speaker D: Jason walks.
Speaker A: Jason walks and kills them all.
Speaker B: Yeah, I have.
Speaker C: So you quit coming as we travel. It wigs me out.
Speaker A: I'm always looking for when you do the hunt, that the hunt theme style home.
Speaker D: Oh.
Speaker B: I may have. I don't know yet. Because of the. The job hunt thing. I had some really good conversations this week that came out woodwork, which is awesome.
Speaker A: Right?
Speaker B: But at least one of them might require a travel to go meet some people. I don't know what that schedule is yet, but for now, I'd say nothing's happening. I'll try to work around that. So it's midweek on a weekend.
Speaker A: Should be fine.
Speaker B: But I should be back in Florida soon.
Speaker A: Cool. Just good.
Speaker C: Embracing that downtime. Are you working out?
Speaker B: Because not enough stuff to do the first week. I did, like, almost nothing. Like, as the longest. I'm not done a work thing in a long time.
Speaker A: Long time.
Speaker B: But it took, like, probably my first seven days. It took that long to not dream about code or fit Tensor. You're just in the middle of, like, solving problems all the time. Your brain's, like, sleeping and solving problems. Wake up in the middle of the night going, I can solve this thing. You're, like, super stupid because it's dreamland. I have solved problems in my sleep over.
