AI Transcribed Audio

Speaker A: That's what I'm looking forward to the next couple weeks. Not getting up.

Speaker B: You'll just get up anyways.

Speaker C: I probably will.

Speaker B: Bodies just. I gotta get up.

Speaker A: Won't bother me. Have the option of laying there if I feel like it.

Speaker C: Right. Surf your phone. Sleep.

Speaker B: I wish I could do that when I wake up.

Speaker A: Oh, just go back to sleep.

Speaker C: Sometimes I can.

Speaker B: Nah, you're awake.

Speaker A: That's usually not.

Speaker C: Yeah. In general. Had enough sleep till your body's like, you know.

Speaker B: Yep.

Speaker C: That you get more dragging your feet on. But it's kind of like kill social in the system. Then you have this thing called novelty surge where you showcase a subnet or some new technology where the CEO is like, I want you to come up and talk about this thing, this new feature. I'm not a developer, but I'm pushing on people because I want the cheating to be done. And he knows I'm like really knowledgeant about it. So I got up there and I was talking about. I'm like, yeah, everybody needs to do this. And at the end I said, it's a reminder. Install version 85 of the software. And you have to commit or hell's coming. I'm coming with it. Everybody's like based. This guy posted it online's like, that's the way copying is gone. The CIO will come after you.

Speaker A: Pretty funny.

Speaker C: It's like amazing how many people try to like cheat the system. So it's like building all these solutions to 1910. A long week longer than it already numbers. But it's good. This is gonna help. I might have a new job in January in the same ecosystem. That's something they offer Garrett.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: He wants to come do the same thing in their company. Everybody kind of knows we're phasing out the nonprofit.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: Decentralized everything. This is timing, but considering last year I was like, I'm not sure if I have a going to get a job. I was hunting for three months. Now it's like I can pick a.

Speaker A: Job.

Speaker C: Based on funny money.

Speaker B: Yep.

Speaker D: Anymore.

Speaker C: That is pretty much.

Speaker A: Hey, if I think somebody was saying.

Speaker C: Like 80% of all money that is in circulation has been printed since the year 2000.

Speaker B: I believe it.

Speaker C: This is crazy.

Speaker B: I got like 40 or maybe $50 in cash in my wallet. That's it. Everything else just a number on the screens.

Speaker C: Yep.

Speaker B: Like, whatever. If that ever goes away, we probably have bigger problems than.

Speaker A: Oh, yeah.

Speaker B: Than money on the screen.

Speaker C: Never checking how much ammo we have.

Speaker B: Go.

Speaker C: Ready to shoot those?

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: Something crazy here. I Think this would be a good place to live? I think most people would be like, let's just keep it fairly orderly here.

Speaker B: There's no resources.

Speaker A: Like, oh yeah.

Speaker C: They can't take the burden of excess at once because I have to.

Speaker B: And they're always importing stuff and all that stuff.

Speaker C: Yep. Here we have wild game and farms and it would but farms. Yeah. Although we have a lot of space. Like if you take out lucky include Boise were 22 people per square mile. Yeah. If you take out Boise, it goes to like single digits.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: There's a lot of animals, but it would disappear pretty quick. You got, you know, one and a half million people in the state, about half of which are in the southern part. So between here in Montana. Yeah. Eastern Washington, you do a bouquet for a while.

Speaker B: You just have to survive probably like up to a month of just crazy. The first month would be.

Speaker C: That's why here wouldn't be too bad because I think if people started, you know, trying to loot or something, they just get shot like nope, that's ending. But it doesn't work because a lot of people would be able to work because stuff is shut down.

Speaker A: You know.

Speaker C: Place with lots of water and plus Katrina has like breakout kit stuff.

Speaker B: I used to be somewhere into that. It doesn't matter.

Speaker C: You just need to be able to survive for a long enough time. That stuff need to be covers or a side is chosen.

Speaker B: I don't think it's that bad where I have to go next door to Kyotan.

Speaker A: No.

Speaker C: More likely you be like, let's just go on a dan that oh yeah. Builds a new city.

Speaker B: Yeah, that's what happened. People start working together too.

Speaker C: Big city though. Man. When you saw they win that gas one when that gas company got hacked, people started going to the gas station or like trying to put gas in like plastic tubs and plastic bags. And like you're the first to go.

Speaker B: I'm had to clean on your car.

Speaker C: I know.

Speaker B: It stinks so bad.

Speaker A: Oh yeah. Stink.

Speaker B: And then it would.

Speaker A: It would just melt the plastic bags.

Speaker C: It was. You could see it while they were like trying to fill a plastic bag.

Speaker A: It was like just.

Speaker B: And then like you never get that smell of your car. No gas just hangs around.

Speaker A: Yes. There you go.

Speaker C: Hello.

Speaker A: Checking Discord see if he left from.

Speaker B: Us.

Speaker C: Wondering we form a team when.

Speaker B: Get that social media people have to touch rest.

Speaker C: Yeah. So we're just talking about the purge.

Speaker D: Which one?

Speaker B: If it came to Idaho, if we. If we logged. If electronics just went away one day through some sort of event.

Speaker C: So we probably in Idaho would be more likely to keep the calm and shoot the people that weren't.

Speaker D: Yeah. We'd probably just embrace it.

Speaker C: Yeah. They'd be like, we don't care about this. Work becomes how good you are at foraging.

Speaker B: Pretty much. What can you do to build the community?

Speaker D: Part of that might be just beating up everybody who's beating on your own door.

Speaker B: Yep.

Speaker D: Make my phone work. No, no, no.

Speaker B: That's gone. That's not a priority anymore.

Speaker C: Tech support is over.

Speaker A: Okay. With this.

Speaker D: I have a feeling a lot of these are just disappear into the forest.

Speaker A: Not sure what I would do if something like that actually happened. Where.

Speaker B: See what it is.

Speaker A: I might just be like, yeah, whatever.

Speaker C: The most fighting is.

Speaker A: See if I survive.

Speaker B: Yeah. Depends on what it is.

Speaker A: I don't know.

Speaker D: Depending on the scenario, you might have plenty of fighting right here. Just depending what little you got.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: A lot of people have to rediscover.

Speaker B: The meaning of community.

Speaker A: Oh yeah. Oh yeah.

Speaker B: That would be the. Probably one of the best things that would happen. You actually have to Talk to people 100% and work together.

Speaker A: Now. We agree.

Speaker D: And your word is your bomb. And that could be a really good thing.

Speaker C: This is starting to sound better than mother.

Speaker A: You always find a big chunk of.

Speaker C: Land and just buy it and then.

Speaker A: Self sustainably see if you enjoy that actual lifestyle.

Speaker C: Yeah, man. It's funny you mention that there's a.

Speaker A: Bruno where the guy who. All right.

Speaker C: Works in some. Oh yeah, it's lower watching stuff. But he. He found a friend was like, hey, there's this land for sale. And it turned out it's like on that southeastern part of Coeur d'alene in the mountains there, like off Fernand and all that, like really good property. And somebody was just private selling it. And they had like like three hilltops basically all like interconnected of land. And he was like, I gotta make a phone call. He called like one of his friends and then some family members and were like, pull your money. Here's the deal. We're buying this property.

Speaker A: Let's figure it out.

Speaker C: So but they bought this contiguous land down there and his is like right on top of a little like hilltop.

Speaker D: Oh, if it's got water.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker D: There's a lot of sweet looking land. But it's like, how you gonna live on it?

Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. Almost all of us have special tanks and stuff. Yeah. But it's beautiful where he's at.

Speaker D: My dad held onto one piece. He's. He got suckered in for executor of his mother. So my grandmother and she's like, I really want to hold on to the trailer because it's got a spring in case everybody's got to come back. Well, now all that's left is this trailer that probably should be conditioned, right? Yeah.

Speaker B: Nobody should go in there. Yeah.

Speaker D: And so many neighbors have moved in that there's no way to legally put in a well anywhere. And you can't borrow money on a spring.

Speaker A: Yep.

Speaker C: Go back to the trailer and a giggle clown comes out. You like it.

Speaker A: Long, long house. Don't lose.

Speaker D: They need a good fire.

Speaker B: Talking about, if it gets bad, we just go to errands. And it's like, we're in Idaho.

Speaker A: They're in Kentucky.

Speaker B: I ain't going there.

Speaker A: If it gets bad, they're not doing Oregon trail in reverse. Yes. Kentucky Trail. It gets bad.

Speaker B: It's like, I'm not.

Speaker A: You know how far that is to walk.

Speaker D: What was the name of that movie? Wagons East.

Speaker B: Oh, yeah. No, yeah, I'm gonna take that too. I love you off. Society got stupid. Like, I'm not be like, the last of us. We're here trying to get somewhere.

Speaker D: We're in a good spot with the dams and the hydropower.

Speaker B: The zoomers would all die because they don't have tik tok to withdrawal.

Speaker C: Did you guys watch that Idaho comedian? I went to New York. He talks about that because New Yorkers are like, if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere. Like, I'm from a town of a thousand people in Idaho.

Speaker A: I'm pretty sure you're wrong.

Speaker C: He was like, you come out of the subway and there's like three sandwich shops.

Speaker B: It's a different type of survival in New York.

Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. It's like concrete jungle.

Speaker C: Instead of this, instead of the rural jump.

Speaker A: There's nothing very less, much less to distract you in the rural settings than urban.

Speaker C: He said that when the New Yorker would come to Idaho, he'd said, where'd the. Where'd the New Yorker go? He's like, we went out east three days ago looking for gluten free muffins. We haven't heard from.

Speaker B: I don't think you would make it.

Speaker D: You showed me a picture. You want these leaves, right? And we don't know where you went at.

Speaker A: Right.

Speaker C: Not these leaves, not these leaves, not these mushrooms.

Speaker D: Chestnuts need to be cooked first.

Speaker B: People have to learn how to do that again. Every song. Like, people just get sick and die. If we don't know that. That's not base knowledge anymore. Like yeah, you shouldn't eat that.

Speaker C: Like people. I talked to them. People pick.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: Like grow tomatoes and pick mushrooms and stuff appearing. The restaurants buy it. Yeah but you know in bigger cities it's like no. Everything is shipped in and yeah. Yeah but we're gonna pick mushrooms in Central Park. I don't think so.

Speaker D: They might not be the shrooms you're looking for.

Speaker C: No.

Speaker D: Unless you are looking for that type of shrimp.

Speaker C: They happen to be in a bag already.

Speaker B: No, it's just that knowledge isn't common.

Speaker D: Rooftop gardening is about as close as they can see.

Speaker C: I don't have that knowledge.

Speaker B: Like the ability to make fire. Make fire.

Speaker C: I can make fire but that's about it.

Speaker B: Here's some sticks. Figure it out. I got smoking. Couldn't get them.

Speaker C: I've done the string one that works pretty good actually.

Speaker A: Learn how to use flint.

Speaker D: I want to learn how to spark.

Speaker A: That's it. That's like that. Like if you have print have to do fire making. Just have. Yeah have that block of magnesium. That's what it feel almost a match level of ease. So nice to have the magnesium. Get your little like dime pile of magnesium and all your. As long as your fire like your base stuff is constructed well, it's usually like a few strikes and you're done.

Speaker D: We're doing 9840 years ago almost. That's like.

Speaker A: Yeah, I have one. I'd probably see a lot of people move head towards the coast. That usually happens just because it's easier access to resources. But I guess depending on what time frame this happened I may not be a lot of resources left in those days. All the dirt might suck you and my unbelievable growth.

Speaker D: I think depending on what happens. Depending on what happens. Yeah. We're too close to Spokane. We better move back a bit.

Speaker A: Section over here. Yeah. Yep. We'll do. It'll depend on hope depending on if we finish all this. But when we finish this little arc here will be probably shifting most likely beyond everyone. And then I'll have some stuff on the site that guys should at least read or look at.

Speaker D: Decide to be better to continue on and try and convert it or start a new character.

Speaker A: Oh making your guys characters and everyone is it be pretty. It's very straight.

Speaker B: They might just gain some other skills or something.

Speaker D: Some functionality.

Speaker B: Yeah. Like jockson changing bit just because of little backgrounds you have to take.

Speaker A: And it's. It's pretty modable. So it'd be fairly easy to make your own career up if we needed to but there's a very large selection. Cool. And then if you don't have one for like Audrey's case, you'd probably most likely just be in a student career until you like learn some stuff if you wanted to go that route.

Speaker D: But until I decide what I want to be when I grow up.

Speaker A: Yeah. Basically that's what it is. Or you just can't. Or your character isn't like fleshed out enough to have a background in something or open up and they have the student background and it has some different boons with it. All that stuff will be taking care of one in the session that we swap over.

Speaker D: Considering my newfound friends might be something akin to animal tamer and yep, just wild child, I might end up going south. Joining the pack.

Speaker A: Last time while galloping, Jeff looked over his shoulder and sees the pack of horror talents following them at a truck. One's parrying Audrey into mouth. Jack shoots at it and the bullet glanced off its head. Doc firing misses and the pack headed into the woods. And two like stayed behind at the edge. Jock. Doc. Charge. Dope knock through a Molotov on one. Jock shot the other one in the face with his shotgun. They ran away. Then Doc and Jock follow the trail for two hours and realize they're being led in a circle. Continue for another hour and find Andre in the road or the trail. I guess it's probably not really a road where you guys are at.

Speaker B: Big road.

Speaker A: Actually, it'd probably be a little old road. You have to unmaintain the road. There's a talon sitting at their hard town sitting across on the other side of the trail. Doc approached cautiously, spent a few hours working on Audrey and the rain. Went to town watching. And Audrey regained consciousness. And here's the the deep venom like voice in his head asking if Destin is okay. Well, then Audrey learns. The pack of talents was asked by New Nook to serve Audrey and they agreed to the pack leader Lapu introduced the other Talons to Homa, Togen, Kitna and Mosi and their pack ne Swiftcrest. Then Lapu asked Audrey if Doc could work on Togen. So Doc started taking lead out of his face. Audrey asked Jack and Doc about the about his horse and Lapu says tahoma, fine, come back. So Jacques sets off following Tahoma to look for Nox. And then Jacques returns four hours later riding Chuckles or riding knots. That Chuckles meeting behind him. Audrey's already asleep with Lampoos standing over him. Doc and Jacques set up their tents and go to sleep. You wake up Tomorrow, rain in the morning and a fresh deer carcass. While you guys are prepping for the day. Talked about what to do next and plans for the future now that you have epoxy of talents. And then we. You guys travel for five days to get to Audrey's marker. It's downpouring with 99 humidity because it is the height of monsoon season. I'm building a rocket ship.

Speaker D: Is it a water rocket?

Speaker B: Yeah. I don't know. Water power.

Speaker D: I have the talon snoop on the bag.

Speaker C: So pals moving castle. We just need a fade spirit powerful one.

Speaker D: We just feed them more.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: In this case you have to feed them souls though.

Speaker A: It's awkward.

Speaker C: That is.

Speaker D: That is awkward.

Speaker A: Yep. So you guys following Audrey follow his map. You eventually come up around 2pm you have about six hours of sunlight left. You come up to about a 10 foot wide sinkhole in the ground with.

Speaker C: Water running into it.

Speaker A: And you can see in about 10ft before it gets dark.

Speaker D: So the sinkhole or rain hole.

Speaker B: Rain hole, yeah.

Speaker D: Visualize like waterfalls.

Speaker A: Yeah, it is kind of like all the way around and then, and then you can see that like it's like maybe like a 10 foot drop. And then you can see that it like has like around like a 60 degree angle where it like angled down into the earth.

Speaker B: There's some rules about going underground and pouring. Right. You don't want to be underground.

Speaker D: So I'm visualizing a little bit of goonies here in that water slide seat before you find the ship.

Speaker B: Might be another slide we can go down.

Speaker D: Does it look like there is any way down into the sinkhole short of a cannonball?

Speaker A: You could climb like you climb down in it. I mean there's, you're, you're in like savannah. So there are like heavy like grass and there are would be like clumps of trees, like some trees here and there if you needed to like wanted to anchor a rope to something or.

Speaker D: But it's more natural sinkhole than something that was created in stairs carved in along the edge, right?

Speaker A: Yeah. It does look like it's a sinkhole that opened up.

Speaker D: This happened upon us that led us there. Lau, do you smell anything coming from this gaping chasm before you jump in?

Speaker A: He just, he just goes earth so there. So yeah, he, he, he just goes. We look.

Speaker C: Sounds good.

Speaker D: I'll look with you. And I don't know would this be a writing scenario or considering they're two ton and.

Speaker A: You get the image of like one of them just like like climbing into the hole. And then like turning around and then like. Or like being like partway in and then like just like standing out like because they could. They could. They could probably just about as big as they are. Get like be at the bottom and like stand like reach up and like. Because they're. Because they are seven foot at the shoulder. So probably like.

Speaker C: How many of these right there?

Speaker A: Five of them. Tell me one of them would have like basically would fill the hole up for the most part. You could use it then to like climb down.

Speaker D: But how wide is the diameter. Diameter of this hole?

Speaker A: It's like ten foot acrylic. It's like a ten foot.

Speaker D: Ten foot seven.

Speaker A: Yeah. Diameter. They pretty much plug the hole. Yeah. They could make a talon ladder out of one of them. And that's kind of like what the fission you get from lot of shows.

Speaker C: I just take out my rifle, watch the area.

Speaker D: I go down the light. The spike should be pretty good for chemicals.

Speaker A: Yeah, you would. They would. Yeah. So you see like walk. We kind of just like squeeze this like in there like. And then you get like. You get like. I guess you hear like 30 foot slope.

Speaker D: Is it big enough for the talon to go through down the slope?

Speaker A: No. Then he's like. It's like drops down to like like a five foot high like. Okay thing.

Speaker C: Thanks very much. If you want to tie off to him here.

Speaker D: Ties to the leg of the talon.

Speaker C: Be fine as long as he remembers. It's time.

Speaker D: It's all pull my leg. Is there anything else to. To anchor on once we get down there and we see that slope like a root or.

Speaker A: Yeah. Why don't you give me a person so that's marked.

Speaker D: 8 and we'll see.

Speaker C: How.

Speaker D: Much smarts I got. So each like here can be useful.

Speaker A: Yeah. You do you find there are a few like tree roots from this hole that you could tie a rope through if you want to.

Speaker D: Okay. I do that just because if felon slips. Not that they would. That would be a mess.

Speaker A: All right, so we got Audrey and.

Speaker B: Jacques are down in the hall.

Speaker A: Audrey's. Yeah. So you can like see down there. Like you see that like after about 10ft looking down there that it gets dark. You hear water running down there. Of course. But you do see now like the little bit of light that you're down now that you're down in there. It does look there. Like it's. It's not an entirely natural. Keep.

Speaker D: Sliding down. Unless somebody talks me out of it.

Speaker B: No, that's where we need to go.

Speaker C: You can't hear it, but I just see you go down and go. Just watch the horizon around us.

Speaker D: And as I'm going, I'd ask Lepu and the other Swift crest to guard and make sure nothing comes in after us.

Speaker A: They would all, like, when you guys got there, there was always, I guess, while you guys are traveling, you never see the whole pack. There's usually like, one or two with you most of the time. Okay, within, like, you know, within vision. But the rest of the time, you don't ever see the entire package. Maybe at night. So I don't know how many. How if you guys have ever gone out, like, just out in the woods with dogs, usually, like, one of them is near you, and then the other one is just, like, running around somewhere. So then they take turns. At least. The paradox I've done that with before riding, it was weird. They'd, like, swap, and then one of the slides behind you, like, drafting because he's tired, I guess.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Yeah. So that's kind of like what you see is, like, you'll see. You'll. You all like, one of you. Like, you always have a vision of at least one, like, of one talent. And then you can build, like, the other ones. They could be possibly hundreds, hundreds of thousands of feet away. Just out.

Speaker D: Yeah. I thank them for their help, and as I'm getting ready to slide into the darkness, ask them, so how far away can you be and still hear me?

Speaker A: You're just. Oh, he just like, no distance. No distance.

Speaker D: You might not hear me say it, but you just see me get this cheese and grand, and I go down the mudslide.

Speaker B: You go.

Speaker A: Well, yeah, I was gonna say how you just sit down and slide. You got your rope on you. All right. Yeah. So you go sliding in the dark.

Speaker D: I don't know how I would control my descent.

Speaker A: But you could wait, like, if you wanted to, like, slow it, like, lower, like, slow yourself, like, with the rope. Yeah. You don't have.

Speaker D: I'm just like. And if it gets too freaky, you try and clamp down and.

Speaker A: All right. Yeah. So you're sliding down the jock. Are you waiting or are you going. All right. Okay.

Speaker B: So you have a lighter or something? Some light.

Speaker D: I do have a lighter. I had to trade for it. Work in the mercantil.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: Light sources.

Speaker A: So, yeah, as you're sliding down there, give me a React to danger roll as you're going down. And then all of a sudden, there's a porticellus right in the middle of the thing.

Speaker D: I will. Is it big enough that I might try and slide through it or.

Speaker A: No, this is like very much you're going to. You're hitting it.

Speaker B: Okay.

Speaker A: Well I mean I guess depending you depend on the role but like right. The fiction wise. It's just like there out of the dark.

Speaker B: All right.

Speaker D: I will probably grid it and that gives me M11.

Speaker A: All right. Yeah. So yeah, you're going down. You just like so the feet would.

Speaker D: Brace against the pork close I can.

Speaker A: Go and yeah, Jock, you would hear that like boots on metal sound still alive down there. Yeah.

Speaker D: You wouldn't believe what I found. I don't know how to get through it though. This could get interesting.

Speaker A: So. Yeah, so like just as you like, right as you like hit there. Like you can see that like ashinova. Yeah. You actually wouldn't. You can't see anything because it is black sensors going down.

Speaker D: It's like going down like this and all of a sudden it's like pure black. And the feet just hit. Correct. Is it like dripping water from the top like it saturated whatever's above us?

Speaker A: No, you'd actually. You just. You just feel like water running down under you. That's kind of like as pretty much almost was like a water slide.

Speaker D: Bracing myself with my feet on the portcullis. I pull out the lighter and kick it off.

Speaker A: Yeah. So you see you flick that on and like just on the other side of the porticell so you can see it. It gets flat but that lighting. But then it's as she goes into black. Fun not fighting. Anyway.

Speaker D: As I kind of bend down and adjust. Can I see a switch for the corklist A lever or.

Speaker A: You don't see any way to open it where you're at.

Speaker C: Okay.

Speaker D: I read this information back up to tja.

Speaker B: How big is this tongue?

Speaker A: So when you get down in there, it's like you could. It's about like five feet. Like on the. The top of it you can see that looks like it was either built or car. Like it looks like it was. You could probably like just see like some faint like brick work or whatever. But you don't like if there were stairs there, they've been covered with sediment stuff and over like who knows how.

Speaker D: Long it drip before the hole fell in.

Speaker A: Yep.

Speaker B: I got hold of the rope and try and go slowly down. Okay.

Speaker A: Yeah. You have no issues as you're going down. You can see like Audrey's little light down there 30ft away. A little pin break of light.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: And then. Yeah, you get down there next to them.

Speaker D: I thought about using the farmer's helper, but I didn't think I could get.

Speaker A: Far enough away that would definitely be activated.

Speaker B: So loud.

Speaker D: My cutest backup out of the hole.

Speaker A: Yeah. So. And that's. And yeah. So it's. You have about five. Like a five foot by five foot area. You're in the porticellus is blocking the way.

Speaker B: I want to know if we have any sort of light source besides your layers.

Speaker A: You. You guys should have lanterns. I'm pretty sure some of you guys had lantern.

Speaker B: Yeah. It's already an option, but I didn't so that.

Speaker A: No, yeah you guys would if you. You have them. So I. I assume jockey torches or lantern or something. So I'm pretty sure you guys had. Had oil. I know that for sure. And lanterns because you used them at the black rock or found some.

Speaker B: You probably found some.

Speaker A: So you. Yeah. Jack, you have a lantern if you.

Speaker B: Dig out? I could.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: Yeah. I'd say you could have had that down. Yes. I would have brought it on your belt or whatever. Yeah.

Speaker B: And then look around.

Speaker D: Once the torches lit, I take my lighter food.

Speaker A: Yeah. So you get in there and you see that the tunnel like after the Porticells is like. You see do see like mud and water like going into the room into like further down the tunnel. But it gets flat and then your light dies out about. Yeah. Another like 15ft out.

Speaker B: Anything along the walls on our side, you don't.

Speaker A: You see some like very old stone work. But that's. Yeah. And then you can see that like there's actually like a regular do. And you would notice too that there is like a fair amount of like mud instead of piled up on the porticellus. I got a beer.

Speaker B: I don't know if I want to.

Speaker D: Use it or not.

Speaker C: That's right.

Speaker B: You. I start just wiping away some seven. There's like on the brick wall or something on the stonework wall. See how you find like hit a button or lever.

Speaker D: Okay. If you're doing one side, I'd probably do the other.

Speaker A: Yeah. As you guys are doing that, you don't. Don't find anything.

Speaker B: Try pushing and pulling all the things. Make sure might just be a pole.

Speaker A: Pushing or pulling on it. Doesn't like you can hear it like you hear it like shaking. It's like after like a little bit it gets a little bit looser. But at first then you can see it like moving the sediment mud at the bottom. As you kind of like shake it a little bit and tell it it's quite rusted. And hole.

Speaker B: Any hinges.

Speaker A: I don't see any.

Speaker D: So it looks like it's coming out of the ceiling.

Speaker A: Yeah. It looks like it's just weighted.

Speaker D: Like a castle port plus.

Speaker A: Yeah, exactly. Yeah, very much like that. And it's just like a bunch of like rusted iron bars. So it's with a couple probably like four cross support beams across the.

Speaker D: How rusted is rusted? If I like pound on it, am I like flaking off large amounts of metal? Like it's going to crumble it so old and rusted or.

Speaker A: Yeah, if you like you shake it, you do like, you do get some rust. So you could potentially just like break it with some effort.

Speaker B: I'd help do that. Started just.

Speaker D: Yeah. We'll pull it down. It's either that or we crawl back up and I send the farmer's helper just down the water's line. I'm afraid we both might get a moderate wound.

Speaker B: Yeah. Concussed probably.

Speaker A: Yeah. So both of you like reefing on it and like shaking eventually like part of like the. The center. A few of the center ones like actually like break. He's finding the trap.

Speaker D: That's what the rusted bars are for. We send them first.

Speaker A: Yeah. They are eventually able to like break a bend or break enough of it that you can like step through like a hole. Like a hole in a fence or something like that.

Speaker D: Well, it's my map. I guess I should go first.

Speaker C: That's responsible.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: Mind if I borrow your tool?

Speaker A: I'll hold it for you.

Speaker B: Yeah. I just give you my lantern if you're up front.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: Sit through and look around the room.

Speaker A: Yeah. So you walk down like about 10ft and then you enter into this room that's. It's about 10 foot by 10 foot. So everything is like lit up now in here. The first thing you would notice is on. On the walls the floor has mud and like water like running on it.

Speaker D: But it's gonna be draining somewhere.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: And it is like it. There are. Yeah. So you come in, it's. You see diamond shaped pieces of like marble colored like alternate, like black and white on the wall. Up higher they look fairly. They look old and dusty. Like no one has been in here in a long time. And there probably be like possibly some like moss or other like damp growths on them. The ceiling is just made out of like natural stone. But on. But in the like the center of the room, it's been painted and carved to resemble a huge granite skull. So you can actually see that like it's been like parts of it been carved out. So it actually has like a bit of a three dimensional like relief to it.

Speaker D: So is this like a flat ceiling or is it like an arched.

Speaker A: The ceiling in here is. This one is, is flat. Okay. Yeah. So you can get like a nice. Yeah, you look at this nose that takes up the vast majority of the ceiling. Then you can see on the, the floor now that once you get, as you get closer in there you actually start seeing like glints and reflecting off the floor. And you can see that the floor is actually like, like a giant like section of like a geode. It's been like cut like smooth. So it has like all the white and purple crystals inside of it. It's been like polished. And then across the way from you are two doors. One of them is like stone.

Speaker B: And.

Speaker A: Then the other one is brass. You get like glints of like semi precious stones glinting off of it.

Speaker D: Off the brass one or off.

Speaker A: Yeah, off the, off the brass one. The stone one looks fairly plain.

Speaker D: Okay. I pass this information up and then.

Speaker A: I guess another thing you would see like kind of like in the corners are some skeletons.

Speaker D: Are they holding a torch? Holding what like decorative skulls?

Speaker A: They don't. You don't particularly see any goods or anything on them and they're. They are some like rags and stuff, but they're very old looking.

Speaker D: But I'd probably walk up to the skeletons. Are they real skeletons or are they carved?

Speaker A: No, they're like looking at them. They look like authentic skeletons.

Speaker D: How are they attached to it all?

Speaker A: Oh, they're just like, like they were like either like killed or like died in this room.

Speaker D: Oh, they're like playing on the other side or.

Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. They're not, they're not decoration. They're.

Speaker D: That's what I was visualizing. Like four corners. That's like. All right, skull on the ceiling, guy in every corner. This isn't creepy at all.

Speaker A: That would actually. We should add that to the. Yeah, let's add that because that's a really cool visual that there are like carve stone skeletons like holding the ceiling up. But there are like human skeletons that are. Look like they died. There's a couple trapped or. Yeah. Or something killed them.

Speaker D: Something.

Speaker A: Okay.

Speaker D: Yeah, I'm going through. I. But check. No. What's inherent. I continue looking like is there other than the doors, is there any writings on the walls or.

Speaker A: No, it's just like a very like ornate like entrance room.

Speaker C: Okay.

Speaker D: You're missing all five here.

Speaker C: I'm just. Because the guys are occasionally looking for our friend.

Speaker A: Yeah. When you shot up the, the tunnel, they'll say, you see, you hear like some stones slide in like the corner of the room and you hear like metallic ears whirring.

Speaker B: Oh boy.

Speaker A: And then out of the, out of the four corners, you see four like clockwork tarantula looking creatures that are. They're about like three foot tall. Come, come like running out.

Speaker C: Do I hear the shot come up the tunnel?

Speaker A: You might hear them actually during a downpour. No, you, you hear nothing. You hear no shouting.

Speaker C: Well, no, you don't need a shot.

Speaker D: I was shout.

Speaker A: Oh that you shot.

Speaker C: In a cave.

Speaker A: So we show that in movies.

Speaker C: And I'm like, well, they're all deaf now.

Speaker B: Yep.

Speaker C: Okay, gotcha.

Speaker B: And don't shoot.

Speaker C: I'm just up there. My piece.

Speaker B: Yeah. Join the rain.

Speaker D: But how big are these clockwork tarantula things?

Speaker A: They're about three foot tall.

Speaker C: That's pretty big.

Speaker A: Yeah, they're pretty large. And they have what you can see like. Actually no, you wouldn't see any. You would just see like all these intricate gears in like their abdomen and stuff like whirring and there might be, have like a faint glow in there. Like I guess the thorax is the part where all their legs are connected. Yeah. Yeah. They see like a little faint glow coming from there. But they are rushing at you. They're coming down the. Starting to come down the walls.

Speaker B: Jock, I would have went in there.

Speaker D: If you hadn't.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: Because of the light and I'd be curious.

Speaker A: Yeah. Okay. Yeah. So you, you would see that too. Jock. And both of you. I'll see you're in there. Maybe all of a sudden you were standing at the door.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: While Audrey walked in and moved around and then. Yep. You see four of them come rushing in.

Speaker B: Draw my shotgun and aim for, I don't know, probably aim for joints.

Speaker D: I'm trying to decide if it's worth taking a chance to stick a knife in the, in the glowing spot.

Speaker A: Yeah, you certainly can try. Remember this is like a 10 by 10 room. So it's, it's going to be cramped in here really quick.

Speaker B: Yeah. Are backing out.

Speaker A: They can. Yeah, I was going to say they can almost reach you right away.

Speaker B: That's probably. If I saw hey Audrey going for it. I probably would be grabbing them and backing up. Yeah. Backing up with the shotgun.

Speaker D: I fight like a ton.

Speaker A: This is, this is just going to be a. Basically this is just for navigational purposes. Yeah. I was trying a different mapping message for this yeah. So this is. This is kind of the general. Other than otherwise. It's actually a square.

Speaker C: What is this one?

Speaker A: This is the room there. Oh, no. Oh. I built it differently.

Speaker C: Oh.

Speaker D: So we want to get to the other side of the portfolios. Trim, bottom, echo.

Speaker B: Probably be smart. Don't want to end up grab me by the collar.

Speaker D: I'm figuring that's what we're.

Speaker B: I saw you, like, going through your knife and like, moving and be like, nope, we're not doing that.

Speaker A: Yeah. So as you guys, as you guys, as you joint Audrey back with you and are watching and assuming you're drawing your gun, pulling them, you see two of their mouths open, the ones across from you, and then the bottom left corner, the southern. Their mouth open. And the mouth opens and a jet of green acid comes shooting out at you, at both of you. What do you guys do?

Speaker B: So I'm grabbing Audrey. I'd be like, jumping back when I saw that. Like, I want to care if it was like, land on the back or whatever.

Speaker D: Human shield.

Speaker C: You're young, you'll heal.

Speaker B: No, it would be like just diving out of the way or something.

Speaker D: Well, the knife's not doing anything. I only grab me. I'm probably put that away. But I've got the sawed off shotgun, so if they're. They're close enough.

Speaker A: Oh, ten foot easy, like, easy range. So. So. But both of you are you. I mean, you also see the. The acid come flying at you.

Speaker D: Oh, it'd be like. Yeah, I'm not pushing back. I'm. I'm helping with the yank.

Speaker A: Yeah. All right, so both of you guys give me your reflex.

Speaker B: Anytime.

Speaker D: Eight, nine.

Speaker A: Okay. Okay. So I guess you have nine. Yeah, I'll say either can get. Yeah, I'll say either a glancing blow, like you both catch a glancing blow, or you can both get away. But Audrey's shotgun gets dropped because the sudden, like, yank and dive.

Speaker B: So you want your shot, you can come back later.

Speaker D: Yeah, it'd probably be dropped.

Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. So the sudden you peel and tugging, and then the acid is in the process of jumping and hand clips the wall. Shotgun gets dropped, but the acid hits.

Speaker D: Does it hit the shotgun?

Speaker A: No, you didn't. If it was like six minus, then yes, your shotgun probably would have turned. Your shotgun probably would have been melted. But yeah, you see it, like, start sizzling on the. On the stone wall. And they are. And they're still like.

Speaker D: Are they like, closer to bundled together in the center?

Speaker A: The two of the edge ones are. And then like, these guys Would have, like, come scurrying down this way. So they're. I mean, they're fairly packed up. They're coming. They'll be. One of them climbed. Is in from the bottom, and another one is coming from the top. So they're like. Yeah, two.

Speaker B: Well, now.

Speaker A: Yeah. So the two. There's two, like, the. The stone, like, opened up in the four corners of the top of the ceiling, like, right behind the skeleton heads that were in the. And they came out. Two of them. Like, pair of them, like, scurried down and, like, shot acid at. Or shot acid at you. But no, now that they're coming into the tunnel after you, there's one on the CE and then one on the ground. So they're coming at you two by two.

Speaker B: They had a glowing thing on their.

Speaker A: Face, or you can see, like, a faint glow in, like, their thorax where all their legs and joints kind of.

Speaker B: That's another shot.

Speaker A: And then give me a. Give me a scrutinized roll. That's really smart, Alex Lord.

Speaker C: Let's go.

Speaker B: Seven.

Speaker A: Okay. So, yeah, you have those questions. You ask. Or I could just tell you something.

Speaker B: Was useful or valuable to me. Yeah.

Speaker A: So, yeah. Is your only one that actually. I'll say, too. As part of that bargain of not getting hit, the lantern gets dropped, too. So it's, like, dropped at the base of the door as you guys dove through because someone. She would have had to drop the lantern to yoink him and draw your gun.

Speaker C: Maybe they just take lanterns.

Speaker A: Yeah, but no, I was gonna say, as it's drawn to the light, as the top one comes in, you see, like, a faint, like, glint like glass that's in their abdomen. 2.

Speaker D: You have a quick shot. You can definitely shoot at him before.

Speaker B: Yeah, I try and aim and fire that.

Speaker A: All right.

Speaker B: Ten.

Speaker A: All right. And you're shooting at the one on the brief. Right.

Speaker B: If I could see the little glass thing.

Speaker A: Yeah, okay. That's what. Making sure. Yeah. You fire, and you hear glass shatter. And then you get a really strong, like. Like that. Like a really strong, erect, like, acidic, like, smell. And you see the one, like, fall off the ceiling and land on the other one. And they both are kind of, like, melting. The other one is still scurrying coming at you as that second. As the ceiling one fell on it. And so it's still approaching, but you can see it's like. It's like smoking from acid.

Speaker B: I just legs on one side. If I go 8.

Speaker A: 8.

Speaker B: For, like, put myself in danger, I'll just push Audrey behind me, backing up, shooting.

Speaker A: All right. Yeah. So you shoot. You break one joint and then it's like at your. At your feet.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Crawling up on you. And it's actually. Yeah. It goes to try fight. You see like these like, mechanical, like mouth starts open up.

Speaker D: As I see it open up, I pull my pistol, stick it in the mouth and pull the trigger. I figure I can't miss. But watch me. I'll roll it.

Speaker A: Oh, this will be more like. Is the. That does effective damage. What the fiction will be appreciate.

Speaker B: No ricochet.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker C: Make sure you don't stick it in his head accidentally.

Speaker D: Nine.

Speaker A: All right, so less effective or you're in danger.

Speaker D: I got Jock in front of me. I can't. He'll protect me.

Speaker B: No.

Speaker A: All right. Yeah. You shoot it and there's a fainted like a small explosion inside. And it like kind of like peels open and then it like curls up like when that spider dies. But then a stream of acid comes flying at you from across the door, like from the top of the door as two more come rushing in. This is at you, Audrey. So what do you do?

Speaker D: Probably try and flatten myself against the wall. Dodge out of the way all another 10.

Speaker A: All right. Hits the wall by you. All right, Jacques, we got two more coming in. One on the floor, one on the ceiling.

Speaker B: Now I see the glass piece or not.

Speaker A: No, you know, like where it is. So this is more of an aiming fire.

Speaker B: Aiming fire.

Speaker A: You kind of know what you're looking for, where to shoot it.

Speaker B: Hey, that's it. Well, yeah. Get 14. Wow. Double six.

Speaker A: Yeah, you just. And drops. And parts of it melting from the inside. And you see like the same little like flash or something like inside it, like shattered or exploded. And then it falls like on top of the other one. But this one goes in this one, you can see it start to open. Like the acid port on it opens up.

Speaker B: What do you do? Are we still in the hallway?

Speaker A: Yeah, unless you guys ran out. I mean, for. You can only get up.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: You have like 10ft till you back into the port cells. So I feel like you're only like backed in. Like you're like halfway in there now. So you're like five foot ready to.

Speaker B: Dodge it and aim and fire.

Speaker A: Say you can. Yeah. You see the port open?

Speaker B: That'd be 10.

Speaker D: Use it more often.

Speaker C: Yeah, yeah.

Speaker A: Yeah. That one collides with the. The acid port and punches through. Oh.

Speaker C: You see like that.

Speaker A: You see the. The flash of light inside it and it like crumples up like A dead spider.

Speaker B: How much baking soda do we have, Bill?

Speaker D: We have yet to really search our bags once per section.

Speaker A: That's true.

Speaker B: I have 50 pounds of baking soda on my horse.

Speaker D: There's also enough water coming in behind us that.

Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. Like there's. There's not really anything like that.

Speaker D: I probably fly through and kind of tiptoe my way through the. Get my shotgun and the lantern.

Speaker B: Yep. I can stand there for a few just to see if here anymore.

Speaker A: Talk.

Speaker B: A little bit louder than normal.

Speaker A: Yeah. You guys don't. It's quiet in here.

Speaker B: Who's ringing that bell?

Speaker D: Is there anything worth scavenging off? The spiders. One of them's got a key around his neck or, you know.

Speaker A: Yeah. They just. You and both of you guys would probably be amazed at like what the.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Maybe Jacques maybe a little less just because he's had more experience in world. But that would be. These would be like something you've probably never seen. Especially Audrey had never seen these before. No. He's just maybe even jock.

Speaker B: Yeah, Jack, probably. He'd look at him be like kind of fascinating. It was like this mechanical thing that had weapons on it.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: As far as Jacques would understand that.

Speaker A: But they look to be like made out of like brass or something like that.

Speaker D: Are the holes still open in the ceiling where they came out?

Speaker A: No, those are closed again. Yes.

Speaker B: We know how the scallop died.

Speaker D: You see Audrey open his mouth like he's going to yell up and then he stops.

Speaker C: Little experience from the Centipede cave in addition to this one.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: Well, Centipede was a little different.

Speaker B: Those.

Speaker D: We can kill them and they wouldn't come die. But mechanical things. So you think stone door or brass door. Originally I was thinking that's for everybody. So stone.

Speaker A: Yeah. They say when you like, look at the stone door closer, you do see that there's runes carved into it and also some along the. Like the door.

Speaker D: What about this in the. In the dime store novels.

Speaker C: But I don't know.

Speaker D: Can you read it?

Speaker B: I look at the rooms and see if I can be like. Nope. Showing me.

Speaker D: You see me go out to port clothes. Use the rope to climb up before you go. Hey, do you read Ancient.

Speaker B: Some lovely filth down there.

Speaker D: And if there's no reaction and we don't hear anything back. Give him a nudge. Would be a gentle nudge.

Speaker C: What does he do?

Speaker B: I don't know.

Speaker D: If you didn't hear my yell, I.

Speaker C: Wouldn'T in the ring then.

Speaker A: No, he.

Speaker B: He climbed up.

Speaker A: Yeah. Audrey came and Climbed up. Okay. Yeah. So how far away were you from?

Speaker C: I was just on the lip of the ledge.

Speaker A: Yeah. You would have heard him for sure enough.

Speaker D: You mean Agent?

Speaker C: Not normally, but maybe abnormally.

Speaker D: Good for me.

Speaker C: Okay. And how many of the pups are around you?

Speaker A: Just see, I just look, I just.

Speaker C: Walk up to la, pat him on the neck. So, yeah, apparently I gotta go read something. Make sure my guns are nice and secured. Take my rifle down. Actually, I think I put my rifle on the horse since it's like a bit. Let's get anything.

Speaker A: All right.

Speaker D: Bring your waiters.

Speaker A: Softly cleaner mud for.

Speaker C: A bit.

Speaker B: Living the life.

Speaker D: Said help you grab the rope and I'm already soaked. You'll see me slide on down.

Speaker C: Well, I'm standing in the rain so.

Speaker D: You can slide on down too.

Speaker A: Okay.

Speaker C: I mean, I'm wearing leather, but.

Speaker B: All right.

Speaker C: Watch out for the spiders.

Speaker A: Yeah. So you guys get down there and. Yeah, you're facing the cheater.

Speaker B: I'll say.

Speaker A: You do notice that the water is. Flows towards the black the brass door.

Speaker D: Take you to the stone Dory point out all the cool runes that are around.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: Okay, so what is this possibility that I would recognize these from like past messing with the fake creature?

Speaker A: Like. No, I don't. You wouldn't have any experience with these particular runes. Okay.

Speaker C: How much do we understand about how using our abilities is really difficult?

Speaker A: I think you would probably have a sense that it costs. It's costing you something to tap into them. But you. I would. You wouldn't know what the end or maybe it really depends on how you as the player want the corruption to manifest. Like, is it. Is it this stuff changing in you, like physically, mentally? Or are you like feeling like parts of like yourself going away as you're tapping into this?

Speaker C: I think when I described it originally power that over time I hear voices. So maybe I'm just more and more like fake connected or weird connected, but not necessarily in a way that I can control. It gets more leaky dreams that aren't mine.

Speaker D: The voices are like, hey, I know what that is.

Speaker C: So is it a D6? Do you mind?

Speaker A: No, I think you will like the beast. You're weird. Yeah.

Speaker C: So you do this cut in half.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Oh, yeah.

Speaker C: So well, all right. I was thinking of the Price is Right in with the climber on my.

Speaker B: Way up, back over a bit and find that.

Speaker D: Then we changed the game to WinCo.

Speaker C: When I go over the. Yeah, so eyes flare purple and.

Speaker A: I'm.

Speaker C: Talking to X Man Zman Zestic.

Speaker A: You know.

Speaker C: Hello old friend. Question about some fun language. Just reading off what I see. I'm describing what I see.

Speaker A: Yeah. He replies oh first he's like secret will join us.

Speaker C: Well, I am hearing some things that I'm pretty sure are closer to you than they are closer to me. But we'll see.

Speaker A: At the very least I may find.

Speaker C: Myself a hopey librarian come see you in a old fashioned. Right. Good luck.

Speaker D: Any chance you can assign one of those voices to my head that can answer these questions.

Speaker C: And say also in here canticle looking spiders. That helps at all.

Speaker D: Skull line see.

Speaker A: List describe the door and scale it to the school. He replies that those. You reply that the. The runes.

Speaker C: Runes.

Speaker A: Are quite ancient even for this world. And then he also says to pass through that door will cost you something.

Speaker C: Can you be more specific?

Speaker A: He goes it depends on the strength of. Actually no he. He would just reply it.

Speaker D: What it.

Speaker A: Costs you will be up to the Andwin and its will. The fates of the An. Or you know, I guess.

Speaker C: Would.

Speaker A: Yeah up to the the winds of the Andwin.

Speaker C: And Doc would understand that.

Speaker A: Yeah. The Anuin is the. Is essentially like the fade or the. The place that connects all. You can go anywhere in there. But also like it's like the origin of a lot of. A lot of. Actually I guess it would be the origin of like all stuff that like considered magic. It's the origin of like dragons and demons which generally is where a lot of power comes from either.

Speaker C: Would you be crossing over going through.

Speaker B: There.

Speaker C: Or is it still in this?

Speaker A: No, he is. He's conveyed as the. The runes.

Speaker C: That's what they're saying.

Speaker A: Yeah. The runes. The pass through the door will be. He will sacrifice something and he's like from these ones it could be a memory, a skill, a year of your dreams, your most treasured possession. Your shadow or your reflection.

Speaker C: So interesting. Not really fond of looking at myself anyway. So maybe that's a good one.

Speaker D: Is there a coin slot?

Speaker C: I got scorched.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: I get details on like the rooms.

Speaker D: What can be gained by going through the door?

Speaker A: Yeah. So it's generally one thing you ask. All right.

Speaker C: That's literally all that scripture. I dig up the dirt skill with more Q and A about it. Yeah. I just get as much info I can about the runes and what he knows about what we would get for painful things.

Speaker A: Like this goes. That's for you to find out.

Speaker C: Like that's why I came here.

Speaker A: You asked me about the door and the runes and I told you the.

Speaker B: Door and Runes were.

Speaker A: They will cost you a sacrifice when you pass through them.

Speaker C: I was asked into like a cheap shop next to the saloon.

Speaker A: It's always a pleasure.

Speaker C: Maybe I'll come visit you in person.

Speaker A: You're welcome to find me.

Speaker C: When I say have you heard from my sister?

Speaker A: Why would I figure it out here?

Speaker C: Might as well ask Tip my ethereal hat. Feedback in the flash.

Speaker D: In a good way.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: All right.

Speaker C: It's probably bad juju. Good day. Price sounds weird whatever the price is. I told them about the possibility of shadow or fix up my value all.

Speaker D: That stuff would Audrey's not change once he's down here. Does it like zoom in as he's closer to be more direct or.

Speaker A: No it would just get you to the point because like Scorsese would want.

Speaker D: To watch or well something like that. If it zoomed in a little bit then Audrey might be able to which door he's supposed to take where that scorches is leading into because he's like looking at the room. He's kind of fingering them around a little bit. And then you go over to the brass one and look at the pretty stones. There's no knob on either one of.

Speaker C: Them to my knowledge.

Speaker A: Yeah. There doesn't seem to be like any story locking mechanism or.

Speaker D: And I'm figuring they're like the portcullis. It looks like they've slid down out of the the ceiling more so than hinges on the outside.

Speaker A: Yeah. You don't. You don't see any hinges but it could be because they are they open inward so you would see the hinges.

Speaker D: So after that info it's. I don't know which one you want to play with. Water is going towards the bronze but.

Speaker B: Wants to do.

Speaker D: But you're the treasure hunter. Don't get that itch that like the treasure is this way. Isn't that how it works?

Speaker B: Water goes down maybe wrong. Unless you want to figure out what that means to lose something fast. Something.

Speaker D: Feels. He doesn't have much left to lose.

Speaker C: How does the door open?

Speaker A: How's it open? I don't think anyone's tried to open any of it.

Speaker C: You want to open this kid.

Speaker D: Gotta open one of them. I go to a bronze one. It's like it feels pretty steady too and it's got gems embedded in it. So I guess wanting the the wealth and the riches. I'd probably start with the broad store. Pull out my knife and see if I can jimmy out a gym. Hope it doesn't kill me.

Speaker B: Watch the holes where the spiders came.

Speaker C: Out.

Speaker B: Cle them out to do like. Those things came from these holes.

Speaker A: You say that and I just keep.

Speaker C: My eyes on you. I pull both my p.

Speaker D: We'll check one, and if it doesn't pan out, then it's like.

Speaker C: Why didn't you tell me that in the first place?

Speaker A: Yeah, it's not very hard to, like, pop a gem out.

Speaker D: Are they just, like, socketed in?

Speaker A: Yeah, kind of like a ring or whatever. They're. They're fairly easy to, like, pop out or just like, little filigree or whatever that's like holding them in.

Speaker C: What type of gems are they?

Speaker A: Various semi precious gems. They'd be worth something if you wanted to collect some.

Speaker D: How many are there?

Speaker A: You roll me like 3v6 and see.

Speaker C: How many gems are in the door.

Speaker A: Well, there's 12 gems if you want to get them.

Speaker D: I'll figure out how to open this door yet. So as I'm working it out and the door is not opening, I just kind of make my way down on that.

Speaker A: Are you trying to, like. Are you actually trying to, like, open the door or are you just picking out gems?

Speaker D: A little bit of both, because I have to get in there to wedge it. So there'd be some pressure on the.

Speaker A: Door and say when you, like, put some pressure on the door, like, silently starts to slide, like, swing open.

Speaker B: Very carefully.

Speaker D: Watching out for spiders or any other mechanical. I don't know how many gents.

Speaker A: I was gonna say. If you want to sit there and pick all of them out, you can. There's 12 of them.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: It says that as the door open your. The light shines onto. Let me see, like, on the. On the walls, they've been, like, wallpapered with a pattern of, like, gold crowns, like, cover the walls, and there are spots where, like, it's been torn and, like, peeled away, and there's looks like there's, like, plaster behind it. The ceiling is covered in, like, tiny black tiles. They're all an oval shape. And as you, like, staring at them, they actually all look like they're just like the backs of, like, beetle carcasses embedded into plaster, like scarab type beetles. And then if you, like, look down, I guess as you, like, look across at the floor, there's like, random, like, pillars about 3 to 4ft apart, like, spread out around in the room. And then you can see that the, like an inch below those pillars is just water. Like, looking down there, you don't see the bottom. And the pillars are spaced, like, far enough away to be, like, a little Bit of an awkward lake pop and you do see a door directly to yourself and then one here. I'll just spread those out. The one here south you see glints of semi precious material on it. But this door looks like it's like. Was probably brass but it's like got.

Speaker D: That lovely green patina.

Speaker A: Yeah Green patina all over it. And the one to your west has rusted. Is covered in like rust. There are also some runes carved into the stone door posts around it.

Speaker D: Rusty door has runes on far side of the room the south door which requires some fun footwork.

Speaker A: It will take a little bit of footwork to get to either door. The room's a. To get to the to the west door you'll need like two hops. Then they get to the south door. Only three hops.

Speaker D: Either that or we lose something to gain. I don't know. I don't know if we gain off the other boat.

Speaker B: My game whatever's on the map.

Speaker D: I find it interesting that the rusty door has rooms. I was hoping to have some bodies. I've got 30 minutes. But they're definitely not recently dead.

Speaker B: They might be they just got blasted with acid. I already got knocked at all.

Speaker D: Well it's not for a clear point. When you place your hands on the recently been diseased and being mechanical they wouldn't have been alive.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: Yeah that's true.

Speaker D: I'm learning that the skills although cool I'm not quite sure how to use it Unless every night I play a bad pig and try and make cursed objects.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: To use the next my skills.

Speaker C: I.

Speaker D: Have yet to be flaming escape cloud.

Speaker B: Pillars. You have to jump too.

Speaker A: Yeah. Or you can jump in the water and swim over to the door. You don't have to go in the. You don't have to jump. Oh I forgot. Yeah I totally forgot.

Speaker D: I thought it was almost like a. A glass. You can see the water underneath but it bottomless.

Speaker B: Yeah. I thought. Yeah.

Speaker A: No, yeah it's.

Speaker B: I thought there was pillars high up and then really far down in the water.

Speaker A: No the water is pretty.

Speaker B: Don't. You missed your cloth.

Speaker D: Yeah.

Speaker B: Let's see. The beetles look lifelike or are they just pictures?

Speaker A: No, they look like someone actually like took the time to collect all the beetles and stick them into the plaster.

Speaker C: That's what it looks like.

Speaker A: It'd be like the scarab ones or maybe like the. The normal like little like black and it's just. Yep. They're all just stuck into the ceiling.

Speaker D: Before we attempt this I would shoot once into the Ceiling. Because if there's all. Yeah.

Speaker A: Oh, I did. I did forget something. When you like shone your light down in the water, you actually see a bunch of like rotten looking fish swimming around.

Speaker B: I don't think I wouldn't go in that route.

Speaker A: No. Yeah, I totally forgot that. Yeah. So there is like rock looking undead.

Speaker D: Fish swimming around, fish below, scarabs above. Fancy hopping.

Speaker C: One way to take your light.

Speaker B: I don't know if they're waterproof fuses.

Speaker D: I. I would still. I'd have the door like getting ready to pull it back and I would fire into the ceiling of the. The scarabs just to see if they're. If it triggers them.

Speaker A: Yeah, you blast into the ceiling and you just like shatter a few of them and chunks of plaster fall off the ceiling and you see like, like brickwork, like stone.

Speaker B: Oh, maybe the beetles don't come on.

Speaker D: Did the pieces fall into the water?

Speaker A: Some of them, yeah.

Speaker D: Where did the fish do?

Speaker A: They swam around. Some of them probably would have like grabbed, you know, like fish do and like fish food hits the water. Like there would be a little bit of that. But they look like river fish that you've like seen. They just look like rotten from them and stuff.

Speaker B: Keep going or going number one.

Speaker D: Jacques, you're the treasure hunter.

Speaker B: Gotta pick one.

Speaker D: Even if it's true, considering the runes, exact a price that we don't know. Probably aim for the patina door.

Speaker B: All right.

Speaker D: And hopping as close as I can in pillar to pillar because I don't press the floor.

Speaker A: The floor is water. Like it's not. It's obvious that it's just open water. So if you miss, you fall in the water.

Speaker B: Playing wipeout boxing.

Speaker A: And there is like across like in front of each door is like a little platform so you can like there's space to safely land there.

Speaker D: How many hops to the south?

Speaker A: It's three to the south door, two to the.

Speaker B: Oh, your reflex.

Speaker A: It's.

Speaker D: It's a zero.

Speaker A: It's strength or reflex.

Speaker B: Oh, I got grit.

Speaker A: Yeah, grit.

Speaker D: I will try to grit.

Speaker C: My puppy just hugs the platform, lands flat on.

Speaker D: Falls off the ball on the first jump.

Speaker A: Okay. Yeah, you jump across and you like almost like almost fall in and like your foot breaks the water and see one of the fish dart up and take a chunk like out of your boot. You have a hole in your boot.

Speaker B: Hole in boot.

Speaker D: And we'll spend a luck. Okay, so that gets me to a 10.

Speaker A: All right. Yep. You. You hop closer to the south door.

Speaker D: I don't want to Put any more holding my boots.

Speaker B: You got spares on your hood?

Speaker D: Not sure if I'm up for spending six lot to. To get me. I rolled a four.

Speaker B: Oh, no.

Speaker D: Oh, wait a minute. We're adding grit to that.

Speaker A: Yes.

Speaker D: Which means my nine would have been.

Speaker A: Okay, so you have no hole in your. Okay, so you have no hole in your six. You'd have to spend one to get to a seven, and then you. Then you'll have a hole in your boot.

Speaker C: I got a hole in my boot, actually.

Speaker A: No, I'll say. Yeah, I'll just say, like, most of your boot gets ate off. So be it.

Speaker D: So. Well, with my boot, but left my foot.

Speaker A: Yeah, I was gonna say. So you can lose a boot or you can actually, like, take actual, like, damage to your person.

Speaker D: Oh, I lost a boot. I'm walking along the climb. I had this, like, leather cuff.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: And it slid down to my ankle. And everybody knows how. Holy. My socks are now.

Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. So you. So you're at the door, and it's like, when you get up, it looks like the pattern is like, the same as the other one. This one's just been. Got corrosion on it from being in the water and stuff.

Speaker D: Same gems and everything.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: I gotta replace my boots. You see me pop out the gems.

Speaker B: That door doesn't hurt. And Jack's gonna laugh.

Speaker D: Yeah. At least I got 24 downs. If need be, I can feed into the fish when I jump.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: So we push it open.

Speaker A: If it.

Speaker D: If it pushes open like the other.

Speaker A: One, it does it. Oh, this one, it has like a bit of a squeak. And then you hear like, that squeak echo in the next room. Then as you open it, this room keeps getting bigger and bigger. And your light doesn't reach. You don't light the room up. This room feels much bigger. You do see, like, directly above you is, like, metal. Like a metal ceiling looks. It looks like a single sheet that's been like, there's like, swirls in it. Like, it's a different blends of metal in it. And then you. You're at like a top of stairs that they go down. And then there's.

Speaker C: See.

Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. So there's stairs that go down into the darkness into the room. There's like, right from the walls in here made up, it looks like right rectangular pieces of, like, rust. Rusty iron that's about four feet across. And like, the. The stairs, you see as they go down into water, and they're like, you know, like the concrete that's got, like, tons of Little, like, pebbles in it. That's like, what it is. It goes down and probably, like, it's kind of hard to judge, but like 30 to 40ft away from you, like, almost like straight down. That distance is a glowing light.

Speaker D: An angler fish. Yeah, Those goblin fish has little.

Speaker B: Yeah, it's the angler. I think there's multiple.

Speaker A: And that's like, all you see in here. Otherwise, it's like a lake out to where your light seeds out. Like, 15ft. You don't see any more no rotten fish? Nope. You just see the, like, straight, like, down the. Like down the stairs. And then like, off, like, 20ft from, like, the wall you came in. It's like a glowing. A faint glow from the center.

Speaker D: I turned back and I look in the other room with the, like. You guys coming?

Speaker B: Like, what's down there? Yeah.

Speaker D: I think the next test is swimming.

Speaker B: Jump.

Speaker D: I really understand, but he's kind of like 10.

Speaker B: Nine.

Speaker A: Okay. Out of nine, you get a hole in the bottom of the boot. Or you can take like, the minor loot or you can take a. Some sort of other cost.

Speaker B: Get some more boots. Later.

Speaker C: Walking the town with no boots liner. I'm like, why are we going back here?

Speaker B: There's Rob showing that on the road. Nice boots.

Speaker C: The doc actually says that. He's like, why are we going down here?

Speaker B: He's got a map to something.

Speaker C: I stink my head.

Speaker B: You can stay up here if you want.

Speaker C: Jump the first jump.

Speaker A: Well, I see you'll need to wait for him. These are like two foot.

Speaker C: I get them twos. That wouldn't hurt.

Speaker A: Oh, he just did a second one.

Speaker B: Some luck to do 10. How many of them are there?

Speaker A: There's. There's three jumps.

Speaker B: I just made it across okay.

Speaker A: Yep. So you come up behind Audrey. You're like, in a little landing that's probably like 5 foot by 5 foot. So it's kind of crowded. And then it goes. The.

Speaker B: Went to my horse and bought a ten foot.

Speaker A: Like ten foot wise.

Speaker C: And then how much between the water and the.

Speaker A: Like an inch.

Speaker B: Get a surfboard for my horse pouch once per session.

Speaker D: Don't you know we surf at Mystic Flats?

Speaker C: So it's an eight. I'll just take a tr.

Speaker B: Just watch doc fall in the water probably.

Speaker A: So, doc, you lose half a boot, half your bottom of your boot.

Speaker C: I'm gonna make that one a 10. That one a 10.

Speaker D: Hey, if I gotta buy you boots.

Speaker A: All right, so you guys get across.

Speaker D: I mean, this is all because of Audrey, so. And then we can be Besties. Because we all have matching boots.

Speaker A: Yep.

Speaker C: You just see me? Come here. Look at you. Look at my boot. Look at you.

Speaker D: What, you want to change our name to the sock game?

Speaker C: No.

Speaker D: You can tell Audrey is doing this to kind of like, lighten the mood.

Speaker C: Because he's scared Doc actually might wear nice socks.

Speaker A: He's probably more mad about his socks. I was gonna say you could get a hole in a boot and a soft. If you'd rather have that instead of.

Speaker C: Half of it, it's fine. The worst pedal.

Speaker B: While anyone.

Speaker C: Yeah. Takes care of his feet.

Speaker D: He knows about you, you know, Want.

Speaker C: To deal with corns.

Speaker A: Oh, yeah. So you guys. So there's like a. Like a 5×5 landing where you're at, and then it's just stairs that descend into water and then like, down, like, 30, 40ft. It's hard to tell how deep it actually is with the refraction.

Speaker B: Are lanterns waterproof?

Speaker A: No, I don't. No, they wouldn't be.

Speaker B: Well, if you got dark vision.

Speaker D: Check the sticks.

Speaker B: Toss.

Speaker D: Finn, is there any reaction of the coin being in this place?

Speaker A: I guess. Is this. I guess for player lore wise, I mean. Yeah. Right. But I'm just saying, like, as like, you player. The Steven table, too, like, would there be, like, a bit of, like, a pull to another piece? Like as you got into a certain proximity? Like, maybe there'd be like a little.

Speaker D: Like a tug or, like.

Speaker A: Yeah. Something that's, like, tingling. Yeah. I mean, that's up to you. Like, up to you guys if you want that to be a thing. Yeah.

Speaker D: Otherwise Audrey's like, what the hell am I doing there?

Speaker A: Yeah. So there would be like, a little bit of a toad.

Speaker D: And if he's going for a swim, he probably kick off his other boot. It's not like it's going to do him any good anyway.

Speaker B: That big doctor, like, this is your adventure. See what's in the water.

Speaker C: I don't know.

Speaker D: Can we waterproof this guy?

Speaker C: Like, we'll have to go back out.

Speaker D: Well, that's one of the reasons why I asked. It's like, what sort of range do we have? So if we come out at a different spot, hopefully.

Speaker B: This is like modern games, and it does exit loops, not old games. We had to run through the whole thing.

Speaker C: Right.

Speaker D: What's your horse's reaction to being herded?

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: That'S tree.

Speaker A: You guys would have, like, tied your horses up? Yeah, I would for sure.

Speaker D: But if we came at a different spot.

Speaker A: Oh, yeah.

Speaker B: We just have to walk back, be.

Speaker D: Gentle, coax the Horses toe where we're at now.

Speaker B: Walk back with no shoes.

Speaker D: So yeah, kick off the boot. I might kick off my socks just so I don't lose them. Go for a swim. As dog said, I'm supposed to go towards the light. But every now and then I wonder what the cost would have been for going through that other door.

Speaker B: You already know kind of a cost.

Speaker D: Yeah, it's already cost me a boot.

Speaker B: I'd run back and look, I ain't jumping that.

Speaker D: Go back around and down the sinkhole if we're going to do that one.

Speaker A: Yeah, so we'll. Yeah. So when you jump in the water, say you have breath. Is your grip plus one.

Speaker D: Okay.

Speaker B: How long is the grip?

Speaker A: This is, this is, this is more fiction stuff. So like basically like when you do something that's like strenuous, like an act, like more of like an act just like swimming is not going to like be a big deal. But like when you're. Whenever you roll 2d6 then you'll have the, you'll either have to spend a breath market while you guys don't actually have the ability. So if you take a minor wound or if you run out or take your last breath. So if you drown. Oh so yeah. Okay, well I was reading this. Okay, so if you took a deep breath, which I'm assuming is going to be. It's going to be grit plus three. So you, you were you prepped. You didn't just. Yeah, it wasn't sudden. I'm in water. Yeah. See. So yeah, plus grip plus three.

Speaker B: Doc would take the drag of a cigarette before going to the water. It's minus it minus three.

Speaker A: Wireless smoke bubbles. Joe.

Speaker D: Yep. Down he goes.

Speaker A: All right, so Audrey goes for a swim. Yeah. So you're not gonna, you don't need to like. Well let's say we'll just actually. Well, there's no, there's no danger yet other than like drowning or whatever. You're in a dungeon. You're swimming. Swimming is dangerous.

Speaker B: Actually.

Speaker A: Yeah. Give him. No. So yeah, you get down there. Now that's.

Speaker D: Oh, I go to the light.

Speaker A: You're swimming down there.

Speaker B: The light moves.

Speaker A: Oh, we'll say you spend a breath to get down there. So mark one of those off. You get down there. You get down there and it looks, it's like, it's about like a four foot diameter hole but it's filled with like long like rose looking thorns and you can see that they actually are kind of like almost like there's like a little bit of like Breadth to the whole thing.

Speaker D: So they're moving almost like a.

Speaker A: It's.

Speaker D: I want to say like a kelp or see an enemy or like if there is a curtain is correct. Is it like it's floating back and forth?

Speaker A: No, it's just. It's. They're. They look like they're like big like maybe like 3 inch long. Like rose thorns. Almost. Almost shark teeth. This kind of like. And there's like a slight like breathing, like breathing type feel to them. A dune worm. And then.

Speaker B: Can you ride one?

Speaker D: Maybe I gotta get my weird on.

Speaker A: And then you can see that that is like about like an. And it's like lit up for about like six feet. So like enough space for like there's about six feet. And then it looks like. I see. Yeah. And then you can't really see what's beyond there. Okay.

Speaker D: So after seeing this I go ahead. I'd swim back up before anybody else comes down.

Speaker A: Yeah. So I'll say that would take like while you're examining and I'll like taking it in. That was a breath. And then swim up would be another breath. So you're.

Speaker D: And then take another deep breath. That would take me back to five.

Speaker A: Yeah. When you jump back in. Yeah. So.

Speaker D: Okay.

Speaker A: Yeah. So. Yeah. So.

Speaker D: So I take a deep breath and I tell you about these glowing rose throwing things in the distance and see anything else in the water? So it looks like that's the next step. I'm not going to ask anybody else to go play with the roses.

Speaker C: But.

Speaker B: Where was the glowing.

Speaker A: It's from like it's like bioluminescent stuff like inside. Because the whole like six foot length is lit up.

Speaker D: Thorns.

Speaker B: Yeah, it's just like a glowing thing in the water.

Speaker A: No, it's like the tunnel is like lit up so you can see that it is like six feet in and it ends. Did it go anywhere or did it.

Speaker B: Just end in thorn?

Speaker A: You. Since you didn't have any more like a source of light down there, you like you couldn't. You couldn't see like what was there, but you could tell that it was not like a wall. Like there's an opening like a cavern or something on the other side. But you don't know if it's still full of water or not on the other side.

Speaker D: Might have to swim back up. So then way we go deep breath, get down and time the breathing. So hopefully it's as big a hole as possible.

Speaker A: Yep. That's gonna. Yeah. So you. Yeah, you get down there, spend a breath and Then the swim through there. You will need to react to them to see if you can get through there. And that's. I'm fine with the grip or reflex. And you're trying to swim through it.

Speaker D: Nine.

Speaker A: Okay.

Speaker D: Unless I count all my grit.

Speaker A: Yeah. So I will say. So this is, this is your choices. You can draw blood or get poisoned.

Speaker D: I'll draw a little bit of blood.

Speaker A: Okay. So take a. A minor wound. Scratches. As you're like swimming through there, you get scratched up and there's some blood enters the water. As you're just about like, you get to the end. As you're like swimming through there, you go to like get to the end and your arm pops out into air. And then you tumble, you tumble into a room. About like two, like a foot or two into a room. You guys, I guess you would hear it too. You would probably feel it more than hear it. But as you're swimming through there and there's like little drops of blood getting pricked off, you hear. You feel like a roar, like vibrate through the water. And then you, you feel like current, like water coming up behind you as, just as you get through there. You guys see the surface of the water. You see something block out the light briefly by the hole and you see the surface of the water like that.

Speaker D: Throwing like a gator would do.

Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, something like that. But yeah. So you get into that. Yep. And you land on stone and it's like bone dry in there.

Speaker D: Any. Is there any light coming from the tunnel with the bioluminescence?

Speaker A: There's like enough to see that like there's a little. There's like a wall behind you where you tumbled in. Like, but that's very like faint in here.

Speaker D: Okay. Are there any like torches or any.

Speaker A: You don't see anything. If you start feeling around in the room, you realize it's like us like a five by five room. I guess it's a, you know. Yeah, it's just a five by five room. So like as you like go to like stand up, you like hit your head on the ceiling, but you feel it out and it's just a little like five by five room. And then as you're like work your way to the other like, like, I don't know if you like follow the wall, you find a door.

Speaker B: How big was the thing?

Speaker A: It's hard to tell because it was like the. It blinked out for like a second. It would like, it like swam by like whatever it was like blinked out the light for a brief second or Two yell.

Speaker B: Let's see if Audrey here's ask to be found. Anything on that side? I don't know.

Speaker D: Where's the shot?

Speaker A: Yeah. No, you don't like yelling. Yelling. You hear it kind of like echo in the room because there's about like 10 foot of ceiling between the water and the urban. From the water to the floor. About 10ft.

Speaker B: Go for a swim. I guess I go with you.

Speaker C: At the same time, though, if there's a thing on the water, you're gonna be like, let's see if more blood comes up.

Speaker D: Go for a school. Yeah, School with two.

Speaker C: I take my water flask. I'm trying to do a smart thing and like, empty it out and actually like, basically get air in it and then cap it.

Speaker A: Okay. I'll say that it can give you one breath and some buoyancy maybe. Cool. You gotta set the lantern on the.

Speaker C: Oh, you're not dying with the lantern.

Speaker A: Lantern down. Yeah. So you would have. There's like, a little bit. I'd say you have like 10 foot of vision in the water as you like. And I put that word. At least it's visible. Yeah. Yep. No, I was. I was double checking to make sure. Yeah. So Audrey. Yeah. You. You feel around in there. I'd say you. You would feel like. You'd feel like the same gemstone pattern. Like you're like. As you're feeling the door. All right, so we'll wait for these guys. As you guys dive into the water, how much air did you have? That's your grip plus three. Because assuming you're taking a deep breath, I have four. Okay.

Speaker C: Did you grip plus three?

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: Okay, so with my weather balloon, I have four.

Speaker A: Okay.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: You start swimming down there and I'll. Yeah. As you. You both dive in there.

Speaker D: I'm gonna.

Speaker A: Say you feel like a big, like, push of, like, water coming at you. What do you do?

Speaker B: My neck and try and get. Dodge.

Speaker A: It.

Speaker C: Might push a water, like, behind.

Speaker A: Like, you feel like that you feel something like, coming at you from, like, the water displacement. Like, it's kind of like you can kind of like feel. Feel that like, coming at you.

Speaker C: Will our guns fire in the water?

Speaker A: I'll say we'll have to roll just a flat because, I mean, they should be able to because they are actual, like, bullets. But since the.

Speaker D: Depends on how well they cringe her.

Speaker A: Yeah, I was going to say just from. Yeah. Manufacturing def. Like any of that kind of stuff. Let's do a flat roll as long as above 6. It goes off if not. It's dead. Basic dud. Pop the primer in. It doesn't go anywhere. We won't jam your gun though.

Speaker C: So that would suck me not being the. The best like grit wise. I always just take like both my pistols out. Just be like behind me and just.

Speaker A: All right. Yeah. So yeah, Jacques, you. I was gonna say it's coming out. You feel. You feel that? And like just out of the glint from the. The lantern, you get the sense that this is probably like a 16 foot alligator swimming at you with its mouth that's coming right at you.

Speaker B: I can.

Speaker A: All right, that would be a. React to danger but with disadvantage because you guys are in water. So roll one and pick the two lowest. Oh, you could roll three dice. Basically use the two lowest. Four. All right. Yeah. So Doc is your back. You see. You just see Jacques basically get like grabbed in like the center by a giant croc. So you'll take a. The top. The severe look at this wound as you're grabbed by the alligator and it's like crushing you and it's starting to dive down. Yeah.

Speaker C: Close to my tail is this.

Speaker A: Well, I. I assume you guys like basically like dove in. I'd say you actually would get like fast out of the way. So you'll get minor bruises. Okay. As you. As this thing like eats, grabs jock and it's going down, I shoot it.

Speaker C: In the eye area.

Speaker A: All right. And give me an alien fire. All right. You hit it in the. You hit it in the. All right. Like that's both guns. You hit it in the eye. Yeah, you hit the eye but it keeps. Yeah, yeah, you hit it in the eye and it like rolls. So I say Jacque, you take a major one and then it like as it rolled it like lets you go. So you're bleeding profusely in the dark now.

Speaker B: And underwater. That's also.

Speaker A: Yeah. Roll a 2D6. Actually no. You would spent a breath as you got a bit. So you're down a breath. Same with you, Doc. Via spent a breath for rolling. Yep. Or you can take a minor instead of spending your breath.

Speaker C: But I still have the minor business, right?

Speaker A: Yes. All right. Doing yuck.

Speaker B: And I'm trying to start stabbing it. I'm still stuck in his mouth.

Speaker A: That it like when doc shot it in the eye rolled and it's completely black. Trying to find a wall.

Speaker B: Start going in terms of standing direction if in black.

Speaker C: Well, if you're close, I'd be like pork chop sandwiches. I'd be like grabbing you. Like get up.

Speaker B: I Think I got pulled. And then you got pushed and then you shot.

Speaker A: Yeah, you. You. You probably would actually dark.

Speaker B: So I'd just be trying to find a wall.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: There's still the bioluminescence.

Speaker A: Yeah. So you have the bioluminescent reference and then the lantern. So I'd say you're in the. Basically in the middle between the distance wise. And then I pull the hammers back.

Speaker C: Can I see the thing coming?

Speaker A: I don't know where it went. No. Yeah, this is like. There's like almost. There's gonna be almost no warning before you see it.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: So I back up into a. Like a corner and start like. Like edging my way, like towards the corner so I can start, like going up and know where I'm at.

Speaker A: Oh, yeah. So the jog, you're just holding in the water. I'd be swimming.

Speaker B: I'd just swim through the hole.

Speaker A: Oh, you're swimming for the breath.

Speaker C: How far away from the whole army?

Speaker A: He's about halfway. I said you're. I'd say you're about a third of the. You got a third of the way there. You. And the angle wise, you. You can't see him swimming for that.

Speaker C: So question you have. No. Is it big enough to go in the hole?

Speaker A: You wouldn't. You. I'd say you wouldn't really know necessarily how big the creature is or how. Or definitely not how big the hole is down there. So you wouldn't. You don't have that information.

Speaker C: Okay, well, I just wouldn't be swimming back up. I wouldn't be going through the hole.

Speaker A: All right, back to you.

Speaker C: Both of you.

Speaker A: Actually, no. You're bleeding and stuff. So. Yeah, give me a. I can't see where you went.

Speaker B: Nope.

Speaker A: No. Yeah. So y'all give me a defied danger as you're swimming disadvantage.

Speaker B: Is it swimming?

Speaker A: No, you're just.

Speaker B: I say last one it was.

Speaker A: Yeah, I'm doing. This is. You're not. This is just swimming. And depending on what. So you can just use reflexes.

Speaker B: Well.

Speaker A: All right.

Speaker B: So one arm, like, hanging on as.

Speaker A: You'Re, like, swimming up. You look down and you see the maw coming for you.

Speaker B: Use my intestines as a floaties.

Speaker D: Are you supposed to take your pants off?

Speaker A: Yeah. So what do you do?

Speaker C: My belt of Molotovs and just drop it below me. Keep swimming up. So, like, it would, like, be the first thing that his mouth touches. Thinking maybe it will fake it out if it thinks it touches something.

Speaker D: Drunk gator.

Speaker A: I would honestly.

Speaker B: You can.

Speaker A: You can drop those. But if you don't try to like, still get out of the way, like, it's still would like if it clamped down and it will. It will still get like part of your legs. All right. And we serve yourself with sauce, react with the. With disadvantage. So you go three and use the two lowest and a real fast system.

Speaker C: Trying to figure out.

Speaker A: No, this is more about maneuverability in water versus a waterborne creature. So it's a.

Speaker C: I suspect sue to not get absolutely annihilated. So I'll be a seven.

Speaker A: Okay.

Speaker C: You see the lowest two, right?

Speaker A: Yes. Yeah.

Speaker C: Was that reflexes?

Speaker A: Oh, you. I would say you could use smarts because you describe dropping cunning or smarts. Actually. Yeah, I was going to say outwit trick. Yeah, I'd say that would be cunning with you, like dropping your mall tops to try and.

Speaker C: Cunning or reflexes.

Speaker A: Yeah. Okay. Yeah. So it comes and it like hits the. The bottle. So it like instantly snaps, but that catches part of your leg. So you'll have a moderate. Yeah. This tier two gash it on your leg and you're bleeding out and swimming.

Speaker C: So he's got a bad taste in his mouth.

Speaker B: At least maybe I taste it might be alcohol.

Speaker A: So then. Yeah, so Jacques, you get down there. So you're. Give me a roll to swim through the. The tunnel if you're getting later. No, it'd be with your reflexes because you're. You're swimming or in grit. Yeah, you get. As you're. You're getting down there, you, like, are feeling the. You start feeling that rush come up behind you. And like, just as your feet get in the tunnel, you feel like something hit the. Like hit the wall behind you. You kind of feel like that extra push they get kind of like propels you into the hole and you roll and bump and land. Like, roll into Audrey and you get.

Speaker B: Covered in a ton of blood.

Speaker D: You're a mess.

Speaker B: I'm not the big gator.

Speaker A: Oh.

Speaker D: And I would start trying to, like, limited first aid that I can do in the dark. We gotta stop the bleeding. Here, use my socks.

Speaker C: Oh, you actually still have one of my s, which I do have to.

Speaker D: Do, but that would be a minor.

Speaker C: But you could stop the bleeding.

Speaker A: Yeah, I was going to say it would. It would pass it. So you'd have. You would just have those wounds. And then like, doc, you get up, you manage to get back up on the. The stair. Like, get up onto the. You find the stairs and get out of the water.

Speaker C: I'm back up away from the edge with my pistols out and getting my crap out, including my lighter. See how much of that stuff I made if he comes up.

Speaker B: One of.

Speaker D: Those jaw movies where mouth.

Speaker C: Where I start patching myself.

Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. So you guys would be able to like stop the bleeding, but the wounds you still have though, two majors and.

Speaker B: Or one major and one moderate.

Speaker A: Major and moderate. Yeah. Yeah. Because I say you got bit and then you got like roll at the end. Yeah. So happy for hp. Yes. I've decided I'm not a fan of tags. Even though I guess in this technically, I guess you guys have like what, 7hp, right?

Speaker C: But I mean, depending on what happens.

Speaker A: Yeah, it might be.

Speaker C: It might be 3hp if you get shot.

Speaker B: Good.

Speaker D: Severe bullet to the head will end you just as quick.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker A: Yeah. Okay, so you guys are set up. Yeah. So you guys. So Audrey and. Yeah, no. Well, there. There's like a very like faint like you have like a foot of like.

Speaker B: Dim light around the lanterns back there.

Speaker D: I got my lighter. It's like I found the door over here as I pointed out in the dark and you can't see anything anyway. Kind of flip open the lighter again.

Speaker B: Hold mine up.

Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. So you guys are able to light it up a little bit. And it's just. It seems like a fairly like just plain room with like a little treasure. Like you can't even stand up in here. It's like a weird little five by five box room with like a four foot door in the center of the.

Speaker D: We stopped the bleeding in the dark. I flipped over and said, whoa.

Speaker A: He would be all, like all porn filled, like bite marks across this.

Speaker D: I said, I buy you a boot, but damn.

Speaker B: Got my whole new outfit.

Speaker D: Is Doc coming or should I put hope in the next?

Speaker A: I don't know.

Speaker B: We got stuff right in the water.

Speaker A: I was gonna say. Yeah. For all you guys know, Doc. Doc may just be dead.

Speaker C: That's all I know. You might be dead.

Speaker A: Yeah. So you say you pushed open the door or is that.

Speaker D: It's like do we push it open or do we wait and see if Doc shows up?

Speaker B: Do the five minute roll and see if he appears. Wait five minutes.

Speaker D: I might push the door open a.

Speaker A: Little bit just to see if it's.

Speaker D: Lit on the other side.

Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. As you start to like push it open, it's. You see like warm like fire torch light. And then you also like see like shimmering silver wall, like, like liquid mercury. And then you would see like some. Actually like some gold kind of like a painting or two. Like well actually, I guess. Yeah. You would just see like some lard. You'd see like some gold coins on the floor and then you'd see like mercury. Looking like a wallet made out of mercury.

Speaker D: It looks so much more inviting. If I see this, I would finish pushing it open and I hope you get into the other room, find something.

Speaker B: To prop that door open so at least there's light out.

Speaker A: Yeah, that's dark.

Speaker B: Makes. Since we don't know if he makes.

Speaker D: It through, I think we'll hear them.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: The thud.

Speaker A: Yeah. See you. As soon as you like step into this room, it's lit with like one foot like tall, very thick candles. But there's no like melt on them. They just are like burning. The flame looks normal.

Speaker D: The gold coins on the floor, do they also. He's gorgeous.

Speaker A: No, they look like just regular like gold coins. Some of them you don't recognize like the stamp or anything like. And then some of them. And there's different kinds. The ceiling looks like it's like lumpy and uneven stone that looks like it's been partly like melted at some point. Kind of like, I don't like how like obsidian like kind of has like that look when you like chip it or whatever. The geometric arcade designs made from multiple different shapes of wood covers the floor. So like the spots you can see that like the wood floor is very intricately shaped in it and it's been like sealed with the thick like coat of like lacquer or whatever. So it's like still very shiny and brand new looking. And then of course on the, the walls, the wall that you like see as you're opening this is a. They're actually kind of like rippling like they're just made out of like mercury. And then you see like as you're opening this like you see like it's a big room. I have 40 foot by 40 foot room and it's just full of like gold strange like looking artifacts. You see like mummified bodies on display and like paint like folk like paintings and stuff. And some are like kind of. They look like they're hung on the wall, but other. Most of it's just kind of like piled around in the room. And then in the center on the back on a very like imposing looking throne card from weathered bones of some sort of like ancient dead beast and rusted iron and tan leather. As a, as the throne in the backrest is shaped like a jagged spine of a giant creature. Vertebrae are like kind of like standing tall to make up the back dress, then it's, like, adorned with, like, weathered spurs and worn holsters that are just kind of like, hung on it like trophies almost. And you can, like, the bit of the seat you can see it's fairly. It's probably wide, big enough for, like. You can see part of, like, faded cowhide. And it's got the foot rest. It's just like a slab of sandstone. And then, like, I get like, on the front of the armrest, like, kind of coming down or, like, cross, like pistols and branding irons and horseshoes. And it's been engraved with, like, silver inlay, but it's, like, kind of, like, tinged from age. So it's kind of blackish. Yeah. And then you also, as you open the door, you get a very faint odor. Tobacco and gunpowder and, like, sage. And then sitting on this throne.

Speaker C: You.

Speaker A: Notice he's, like, kind of draped in a patchwork duster made of, like, scorched leather. And, like, almost. It almost looks like specters. You can see like spirits or something. Almost kind of like floating out of it, going back in. Like, it's, like, made out of, like, pieces of, like, tattered pieces of souls.

Speaker D: And this is matching, like, folklore.

Speaker A: That I guess would be like, you guys for. To say yes. It. Like, maybe this is some folklore story that people tell to, like, give themselves. Like, maybe he's like something of, like, a legend that the Pell Riders stole for, like, their own mythos.

Speaker D: Okay.

Speaker A: Of, like, this avenging, like, person or spirit or something. Okay.

Speaker D: Just the way you're describing it, this is. It's either something sold, it's been forgotten, but the guns are on the side, or it's something that's more of a modern tailworm.

Speaker A: I would. I would say it's. It's. Well, have a little bit of both. Probably more so in the forgotten times, because you. As you guys were looking in this treasure, there's, like, stuff that be like, something from, like, ancient, like, Greece, Rome, or even, like, even older. Just there's all sorts of weird, like, random crap in here that you guys would just be like, what is this stuff in this room of this treasure hoard?

Speaker D: Oh, and I'm trying to find Jack of a comfortable spot to lean him up against the wall as we're waiting to see if Doc pops out, because we don't know if he was lunch or not or even beginning to approach a throne in this scenario.

Speaker A: And then. Yeah, so you see, like, the tattered soul is, like, coming off. It's like dust or the scorched leather and then you can see that he's like a. A skeletal form. Glows faintly with like a greenish shimmer, like phosphorus almost. So like you can see like he's glowing. And then he's got a wide brimmed hat worn and riddled with bullet holes. And then when you like find like as you take in his face, it's almost like a. Almost a skull looking because of like, it's like the skin has been like so dried and like. Or he's just so gaunt that he's like. Looks like a skull.

Speaker D: He's the ghostwriter of this world.

Speaker A: That's. That probably is like. Actually it was really a good idea. He's not. Not quite like that. I have a picture too, and I'll show you guys that. Yeah, the generative image stuff came up. That's pretty good. But yeah. And then so as you take in his face, it does look like it's a skull. He doesn't actually have like, lips either. It's like almost like Skeletor kind of like that. And then his. In his eye sockets, they blaze with a. With an eerie amber light. And then he's like, he's sitting there kind of like. Kind of like relaxing with his like, feet up on the. On the. The sandstone foot rest. Somebody's holding a staff in his bony finger or like weathered fingers that. It's a long stick of yucca that had been like hit by lightning. So you see like burnt, like smarts down like where it's. The veins or its pathways of moisture would be. And it's adorned with like rattle. You can see like the rattlesnake piece. Like rattles are all scraped off it. And you see carved runes down also down the length that have like a very like, kind of like pulse to them.

Speaker D: Please don't look at me. Please look at me. I'm not really here. I'm just sitting.

Speaker A: So I'll show you the generated image too. That's pretty good.

Speaker D: As he calls my name, sitting Jack up in the R. Fell and bleeding.

Speaker A: Yeah. So he like, yeah, you take all this in, you get like Jock in there propped up. And then you just in like a very like and dry, like raspy Texas accent. He just goes, howdy, partners. Congrats on making it down here.

Speaker B: That your pet out there?

Speaker A: You call Bessie a pet? I guess if you want mostly the turd, only the worthy should make it here.

Speaker D: Just nod my head and I keep looking back at the door like, come on, Doc.

Speaker A: He goes, oh, you're. You're waiting for Your companion. I don't think he's coming.

Speaker D: You never know. He could surprise us yet.

Speaker A: He looks pretty comfortable at the top of the stairs there.

Speaker C: You can't. I can't do you good.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker D: No, but I don't know what you're doing either. I'm comfortable in the top of the.

Speaker C: Stairs catching myself after being bitten by a big large croc.

Speaker D: Yeah but do you have the courage to go swimming again?

Speaker C: The only thing I would have done was make sure I was like the bleeding had stopped. And then I would look at the edge to see if I could see him because I don't know if he's dead. If there's no blood in the water.

Speaker B: Then I might have been a tunnel.

Speaker C: If I go back to the edge and I see the croc, I mean I've got like both pistols out and my lighter in my pocket and I.

Speaker A: No say you would maybe see like faint like barely like maybe 10ft into the water. And then there's. Then it's just black. And then there's the bioluminescence. Like faint and glow green light down there where you guys saw Audrey pass through. But.

Speaker B: Major moderates.

Speaker C: I mean I just saw somebody get.

Speaker D: I. I know bit down the middle.

Speaker B: With an alligator, you know.

Speaker D: But we're giving you the 5. 5 at least five minutes before.

Speaker C: I'm trying to think of what doc would do with that. If there's a big alligator in the water. I don't think that he would just follow you guys.

Speaker D: No.

Speaker A: Like because you're also still like essentially like a human and humans like you wouldn't.

Speaker D: Oh the fear level would be there. That sense of crazy stuff.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: If I were to see him like floating in the water, you know.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: I might go in and get him. But if I don't see him I'm not like going back in.

Speaker A: No.

Speaker C: I did see that he got let go of. So he's either floating or he's gotten somewhere. That's all I'm doing. Fixing myself up.

Speaker A: Yep.

Speaker C: So the.

Speaker A: The cowboy. That's what he said. He's like your friend looks like he's comfortable at the top of the stairs.

Speaker D: I thank you for letting me know that he's still alright. Kind of introduce myself. It's like I have no idea. While I'm here, I found this coin and a map that brought me here. Can you tell me what this is about?

Speaker A: Did you you. Yeah. So if you want you introduce. Did you introduce yourself?

Speaker D: I introduced myself and. And I begin to approach the. The throne a Little bit. And it's like, you're amazing. And if I knew the. The lore of whatever it is because I could see a Ghost Rider character type thing just kind of absorbed for lore for the Pale Riders as far as that punishing justice.

Speaker A: And yeah, there would pro. Yeah, I say that I could see them. Yeah, they would have pulled like something up and probably. Yeah. Because it would been like. Because they've been around for like several hundred years at least. So they like that old. The old world, I guess the old prevail floor and like mythology stuff has probably been mostly erased by the church or the church doing its best to erase all that.

Speaker D: Well, what they could adopt and pull it right.

Speaker A: And they would adopt stuff like that. And I'd say that's probably where the idea of the pro writers, like when you see this guy, even though he's like. You have kind of like that sense of odd danger. But yeah, when you introduce yourself.

Speaker D: And Henry might actually address him as being the first pale writer being his religious background. It's like before the Pale Riders there was. You are the pale writer. And I don't know what his reaction would be to.

Speaker A: He would pro. He would. He would like booming laugh and then like spit and like busted them for like, like ruining his legend and being called and calling him wannabes. Oh and then also. And then he would like curse Mithras for trapping him here.

Speaker B: Why don't you just go out and reclaim that title?

Speaker A: He chuckles and goes. He just goes, boy, first, would you like to feel better? And two, if you want to slay a dragon, then by all means.

Speaker D: So it's a dragon that's keeping you here. We didn't run into him. The gate. If you told me about the gator.

Speaker B: I'd say life would not just like, oh, I swam in the water.

Speaker D: I think he tried to take a bite of them.

Speaker B: No, I would.

Speaker A: Yeah, so you can. I'm just writing. Yeah, so you can. I can. I can write and talk. That's why I've started going to written notes. Way easier to listen and write.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: No, show me what you got.

Speaker B: Sarcastic.

Speaker A: He did. He just goes, I like your attitude, boy. And you see like the top of his staff and like some of the snake eyed gold actually light up and all your wounds are gone.

Speaker B: And it would be. Name's Jock, not boy.

Speaker A: He tips his. He tips his hat and he goes, good to meet you. Audrey and Jacques. I'm Orzine. Like I like the attitude. This goes from your, from your look. Look at you. You're a fellow gunslinger.

Speaker B: I'm down a few on the.

Speaker A: He just. He just chuckles a little bit. And then he turns over to Audrey and is like, oh, about that map and your scorches coin. I do have one for you if you beat me in a hand detective hole.

Speaker B: Like, do you know how to play that, Andrew? No.

Speaker D: And it's a really weak.

Speaker C: You're like, darn it, my time had come.

Speaker A: He does like a booming laugh that like, bounces off the wall. It's like, oh, it's an easy game.

Speaker D: How many hands can we play?

Speaker A: You get three tries. After three tries, you're mine and you will join my collection. And he kind of like goes like this with this other hand and you can see like there's people from like all like, different, like, errors.

Speaker B: Is that what the art is on the wall?

Speaker D: No, that's the displayed mummies.

Speaker A: Yeah, there's. You can see that, like there's dozens of mummies in there along like the wall. And I'd say you'd probably even see like, occasionally, like, ones would actually, like. You'd see like, faces or like heads bob up to like the surface of the mercury and then like sink back in. These are just like mummified, like, heads.

Speaker D: So if I win and it shows how to get out.

Speaker A: Don't put you right at the start. You. You'll get a coin and a pick of something in here or something else.

Speaker D: Audrey asked one final question about the other door, the rune door.

Speaker A: There's a treasure on the other side of it. Your gunslinger friend might find it helpful.

Speaker B: We'll check it out maybe.

Speaker A: And it will. The door will not harm you if your will is strong enough.

Speaker D: What about the second runic door? The rusty one?

Speaker A: Oh, that's just a fun circle for you chose wisely.

Speaker D: There's a nervous laugh. It's like, okay.

Speaker A: That'S jelly. Lives in there.

Speaker B: What is jelly?

Speaker D: Always put it on toast.

Speaker A: Yeah, similar, but it dissolves. People and things, they just go walk around in the oven and up you'll find Bob. Bob Moss.

Speaker C: He's a planet now Vendor.

Speaker D: That would have been an interesting person with the plague.

Speaker B: Yeah, Bob Moss got out of control, right? Lacquer root one.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: No.

Speaker D: Little bit above everywhere. All of a sudden you have to blow up the planet. Hope it doesn't float someplace else.

Speaker B: Descendants of.

Speaker A: Evolutionary. That's the origin of our. Of the Fractary universe and Sabicola universes.

Speaker B: Bob Moss.

Speaker A: Bob Moss is the precursor. Everything is just taking place inside. Bob Boss followed everything.

Speaker B: Stars outnumber we'll find a planet and then it'll just turn at us.

Speaker D: Kind of like ego, but this one's kind of soft and jelly.

Speaker C: This planet's just not orbiting anything. It's just moving around space on its own.

Speaker A: Yeah, that's no moon.

Speaker D: So that's what happened all around.

Speaker A: It got paint.

Speaker D: Oh, it was one of the original Star Trek where they. There's a single celled organism going around like digesting planets and everything else.

Speaker C: I think we remember something about that.

Speaker D: We've got to blow it up. It's getting ready to divide. So anyway, Texas.

Speaker A: He'S like, yep, you have three tries or you join my collection. You win one, you get your token from Scorches and some other request fulfilled.

Speaker D: Okay, so how does that work? Do we have numbers? And then we're rolling two dice.

Speaker A: I'll go get a packet. Card out. He often he turns and looks at Jacques. Same deal applies to you. No token for you, but you win a hand, get a boom.

Speaker B: Why not?

Speaker A: And he goes, if you reduce your try, your chances to two, I will bring your friend. He has granted he must play as well.

Speaker B: Let's do it.

Speaker D: He gets a boon too, right?

Speaker A: Of course. Same deal.

Speaker B: Gotta fix him too, because he's hurt.

Speaker A: He'll be whole when he arrives.

Speaker D: You know, let's do it just so we can see the reaction on his face.

Speaker A: No. Yep. So the Doc, you're like, man, you've probably been sitting there for like 10, 15, maybe 20 minutes taking care of yourself. And all of a sudden you appear next to Jacques and Audrey and then you take in the entire thing. And then as you're like taking this, taking in, when I see him, I.

Speaker C: Just like, immediately I'm like, look at you guys.

Speaker A: He just laughs and goes, welcome to take your best shot. Do you hear like a huge like booming laughing like the Texas access goes, howdy, partner. Go ahead.

Speaker C: Let'S look at you guys.

Speaker B: Hope you know how to play cards. We're just playing a card game.

Speaker C: Is that why I'm here?

Speaker A: Yep.

Speaker C: How did I get here?

Speaker A: He does another booming laughter. Your boys emptied you in to play a hand to hand to Texas. Hold them with me.

Speaker C: And I just say, let me guess which one of you, both of you.

Speaker D: We thought about it and we didn't want you to be alone.

Speaker A: Doc squares well, and he also goes, but as your reward for getting here, you can have these rings. And then just appearing on one of your fingers, there's a very nice silver ring with horses like all around the, like engraved on the outside of it, huh?

Speaker B: Hate when your brain forgets how to spell simple words.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: Instead of Forza's house.

Speaker B: I gotta go this word stop, right?

Speaker A: Yeah. So you see like appearing an intricately crafted ring. It's shimmering silver with veins of like opalescence. Light kind of course through it. Through the. Through its band. There's tiny carvings of galloping horses encircling like the surface on it. And it's like so detailed, they seem to like ripple and move. When the ring like catches light and you're like looking at it, it looks like they're actually like almost running around here. Galloping around the ring. In the center of it sets rest as smooth oval jam. And then as you like kind of taken to the gym. Let me see it. Kind of like, it almost kind of like draws you in feeling. It has like kind of that feeling of like drawing you in.

Speaker D: So kind of a fire opal or a moss.

Speaker A: It's. Yeah, it's got looking.

Speaker D: It's almost like it's on fire.

Speaker A: It's got. Yeah, it's got like swirl in it. Like as you're looking into like, it feels like you're looking almost into like space or whatever. But it's. It's shift between midnight blue and starlight. Starlet Silver.

Speaker D: Do I see running around outside?

Speaker A: Not yet. You know, you guys still could find them, but you'll have to do other work to do that. As if it contains a piece of the open sky. So you could like. Cool. And he goes. He goes. Well, assuming you win a hand of each of you, this will allow you to store and summon your horse at will. And it will also. It also allows you to have a unspoken bond with your skeet, allowing silent communication and unwavering loyalty from your horse. So it will do as you ask.

Speaker D: I can already imagine some of those conversations.

Speaker A: It doesn't grant like, sentience like to your horse or anything. The horse is still just the horse, but it will like do like whatever you ask to the best of its ability.

Speaker C: Give me a beer.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Food.

Speaker C: Food.

Speaker B: Inside an apple.

Speaker A: Running away.

Speaker B: Food.

Speaker C: Food.

Speaker A: Yeah. Basically. That's a horse. Yeah.

Speaker D: Where are we going? This way. I want to go this way. I want to go there.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: Why is he on my back again?

Speaker A: Turn that off.

Speaker B: Yeah. Trying to sleep. Dark out here.

Speaker D: You know, if I get a little closer to that tree, I might knock.

Speaker A: Them off or like at night.

Speaker D: What was that?

Speaker C: What was that? Did you hear that time?

Speaker A: Their ears are like.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: Was that. Did you hear that?

Speaker C: Radar dishes.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: Wolves Wolves over there.

Speaker A: Grass move. So yeah, he like, so he.

Speaker B: We playing legit Texas holder.

Speaker A: Yeah. So what we're gonna do. So what. So he explained, like, he goes, you'll. I'll deal. You'll deal two cards each of you to everyone. And then we'll do the flop. Three cards and then hands from there. Like that's. And then we'll reveal hands. And then it does.

Speaker D: So no discard. No, it's just straight up.

Speaker B: Anyone have a picture of what some of the hands are?

Speaker A: I have like all. So you guys asked.

Speaker B: So I always forget like the like royal flush.

Speaker A: Yeah. So like so the rank. So the. The hands are straight down. Yeah.

Speaker B: Royal.

Speaker A: Yeah, It's a royal flesh. A straight flesh. Four of a kind, full house. The flesh is all of the same sweet soup. And then straight. If you don't number order. The full house is like it's three pair or two. Three and two.

Speaker B: Ye. Yeah.

Speaker D: Considering the last time we played cards with dice, which is pretty much Yahsi.

Speaker A: Yeah. That's why I decided, like, let's do this. This will be interesting because I didn't want to do like any kind of full on blown, like betting stuff. Oh, no, this fits this.

Speaker C: Just hope you get cards.

Speaker B: See who's making a new character for the new system.

Speaker A: Entirely possible. And to do it the Omaha style.

Speaker C: Where you get four cards down and then we have to get rid of two. In Omaha, you don't get rid of the two. It's just everybody over that.

Speaker D: A would probably be already planning. If I lose this.

Speaker A: Can I be.

Speaker D: Your eyes on the outside?

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker D: Nothing says I got to go swimming in the mercury.

Speaker C: Of course, I haven't heard anything about this. She's like, what do you mean if we lose this? Eyes on the outside. What's going on? What happens if we lose this? I only heard if we win this.

Speaker D: Let'S just say it'll be a comfortable life here.

Speaker C: Oh, thanks, guys.

Speaker D: And now he tries to put the best spin on it.

Speaker C: I just look at the guy. I just say, this isn't the first time. I've almost died with these guys.

Speaker A: He just laughs. It ain't gonna be the last.

Speaker C: Can you fold the hand and have.

Speaker D: It not count against you?

Speaker A: He goes, what's the fun in that? Yeah, that's for the flop. Her hot boys reveal.

Speaker B: I got a pair.

Speaker D: We're almost the worst.

Speaker A: So you guys. Yeah. So his high card is we get.

Speaker C: Two more cards that come out.

Speaker A: No worries. Let's just do it this way. Yeah. I just said Flop what we do.

Speaker C: That's fine. I mean, do whatever.

Speaker B: Yeah. The flop is use.

Speaker A: If you wanted to.

Speaker B: Still beat him.

Speaker A: Yep. You do.

Speaker C: Yeah, I don't have anything.

Speaker A: Okay. And then his. He just has. So this would be nothing from.

Speaker C: He got a straight.

Speaker A: Does he have a straight?

Speaker C: Jack, queen. No, he doesn't.

Speaker A: Sorry. Yeah, he needs.

Speaker B: He needs a tin.

Speaker A: See, you guys all draw.

Speaker C: If that jack could come up.

Speaker A: Yep. So I say you guys don't. Didn't actually lose on that. That was a draw. So you guys.

Speaker B: Here's my two.

Speaker D: We all winning?

Speaker A: No.

Speaker C: So he's got to win. Okay. If we all lose one, then we're screwing up.

Speaker A: So he goes. It's individual. Okay. So. Yeah. So he just goes. Well, Mr. Jacques stink on this boon or wish you would like.

Speaker D: You want my coin?

Speaker B: That's your burden.

Speaker D: The way I got it was kind of so that.

Speaker A: That what we'll do is we'll. We'll do three, and if no one has a hand, we'll do the next two. Yeah.

Speaker D: This is for everything. We only get two shots at this.

Speaker B: At least there's draw.

Speaker A: Yeah. I was going say that was a draw. So you guys are fine. Because he didn't win either.

Speaker B: 7.

Speaker D: I know, I know. You shuffled these cards.

Speaker A: Well.

Speaker C: You have outside street draw.

Speaker A: You're. You're. You're safe, though, because he. I don't think he gets. Yeah, the two. Two cards were jacks or fours, but. Right. But you have a set in one. But.

Speaker D: Five, six.

Speaker A: But we can do those. But yeah, that doesn't.

Speaker B: Okay, that's.

Speaker A: No. So he goes. Well, Mr. Roland.

Speaker C: My mother calls me Roland.

Speaker D: And you.

Speaker C: And you.

Speaker A: Oh, yes. Well, think on your boon or wish or knowledge.

Speaker B: Yep. I have to think about it.

Speaker A: I'm like.

Speaker C: Nothing's been described to me. I'm just like a boon.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: We get a boom.

Speaker A: And also, like, do you know this is like something you guys can actually think on.

Speaker C: Sure.

Speaker A: Because we'll probably just do this in the end. Yeah. Here. And maybe pick up.

Speaker B: Then I'd lean over Andre and help him be like, Audrey's probably sweating a little bit.

Speaker A: So you guys haven't lost yet, though. You haven't actually lost a hand because he's got nothing. You get six. Two again. I'm gonna go get the other again. Oh, never mind. Yeah, sorry.

Speaker D: I play two hands.

Speaker A: No, that's. They'll just. That'll just be.

Speaker B: Dang face card city. Oh, gang.

Speaker A: Oh, he's got a pair.

Speaker C: But he's a jack.

Speaker A: Yeah, he Got. Oh, yeah. So he ends up a two pair. Yeah.

Speaker D: Yeah. Like I said, eyes outside. Hey, have you ever heard.

Speaker A: So you guys actually, like. You see, like. Because I guess actually too, like, before you guys started playing, he just, like, kind of, like, tapped his staff in like, a nice, like, super luxury poker table. Like, popped up and he walked over. He left his staff over at the. Leaning up against the.

Speaker B: He would have done that before. Jock would probably look at the family and be like, nothing to drink.

Speaker A: All right.

Speaker B: Poker without a drink.

Speaker A: He just laughs. My apologies. It's been sometimes since I posted. And he just snaps his. And he just goes, like, what would you like to drink?

Speaker C: I just look at him and go, based on the setting, none of that cheap stuff.

Speaker B: The oldest stuff you got, the dealer's choice. He's like, all right, here's not vinegar.

Speaker A: He just goes.

Speaker B: And a Shirley Temple for Audrey.

Speaker D: This might be my last drink.

Speaker C: Yeah. Might as well just give him the real thing.

Speaker B: Roy Roger or whatever was the guy's word.

Speaker A: Roy Rogers, Pomegranate. He said, how about some whiskey from before the veil?

Speaker B: That would work.

Speaker C: Yes, please.

Speaker B: Doc might have transported someone at one point. He would, like, maybe.

Speaker D: No, like, oh, so if I lose this, I get to stay and play cards with you forever.

Speaker C: I get out my water flask and my hip flask, put them on the table.

Speaker A: He goes up, like, two, like, bottles of.

Speaker C: I still put those on the table. Take some with me.

Speaker A: He's like, oh, you could.

Speaker B: You.

Speaker A: You can take the bottles with you. But he goes. He flicks it over at you, and he goes, how'd you come across this gorgeous coin?

Speaker D: I give him a rundown of. There was an old guy in town, and he told me these cool tales, and I thought this would be really great. And somebody killed him, and I. Whoever killed him didn't find it.

Speaker C: I did.

Speaker D: So I don't know if they're chasing me. I don't know how he got it. Is one of those things he never really talked about.

Speaker A: Well, since fate, fortune to that day, I will fortune you with one more. With an extra tribe.

Speaker B: We got all the luck. No.

Speaker A: Oh, look at that.

Speaker B: Almost your goggle.

Speaker C: Okay, gonna come down to the inside. That's the outside street.

Speaker A: Oh, yeah.

Speaker C: Six or a jack.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: Seven, eight, nine, ten. But they're not all the same speed.

Speaker C: See, that's where it's an outside straight, meaning you need one of the cards on the outside.

Speaker A: Oh, you beat up.

Speaker B: Well, you got a straight, dude.

Speaker A: No, not a full straight. That would just. That's Just yeah. Oh, actually, no. Yeah, you do have a full straight. Yeah.

Speaker B: So you do meet up.

Speaker A: He just lets out a boomy, laughing Audrey, Fate, the anwin favors you greatly, it appears.

Speaker C: It's like, you're gonna get a chance to grow up.

Speaker D: Audrey is just like complete like one do one.

Speaker A: He just like laugh like, yes, sir.

Speaker B: Here, winner takes a drink.

Speaker A: And he.

Speaker C: I'm like.

Speaker A: He reaches into his. Into like his like pocket and flips another Scorches coin to you. Oh. And then when you grab that they. You feel the other one kind of.

Speaker D: Like a magnetic pole.

Speaker A: You feel it pull and then it stops. And then there's a two on the. On your token now.

Speaker D: So how many of these do I need? There's this like that card game they're playing back in Mystic Flats where I gotta get them all. What are the rules to this game? Can you tell me?

Speaker A: He goes, it is. You do need to collect all.

Speaker D: Was that Dragon Balls? I gotta get seven of them.

Speaker A: Oh, he just chuckled at seven.

Speaker B: No, you might know Dragon Balls.

Speaker A: He goes, Try 30.

Speaker B: Or go on an adventure.

Speaker C: Gotta catch them all.

Speaker B: Be the very best.

Speaker D: What happens if I live long enough to get all 30 of them?

Speaker A: He goes, you could become me, but you're doing such a good job as you. Oh, you wouldn't be me, but like me. You could become like me or whatever. Oh, we'll grant you a wish with relatively unlimited power. I played this game. He's like, well, time doesn't mean anything to me anymore, so I don't know a while prevail. I played the game and won. And then I scattered the coins to across the globe. People shouldn't have this, but it's all.

Speaker D: Part of the game.

Speaker A: Yep. And he look like just like a big old laugh. And that's the gist of it. Scorches is a foul demon, but he likes his games.

Speaker D: Audrey would have no idea what to request for a boon. So he'd probably look at a. Or say, you played this game. You know what I'll probably need.

Speaker A: And.

Speaker D: And I would leave it up to Orazine to.

Speaker A: He would like just off the. The top. Like, he would just be like, you're gonna need wise and loyal friends.

Speaker C: I'm like, well, you're screwed.

Speaker A: He chuckled and laughed.

Speaker D: Audrey take you seriously in his jaw.

Speaker C: I take a drink.

Speaker A: Yeah. He would laugh. But then also he would just be. It's like if you aim to collect them all, you will need to kill any holders on site. Don't even ask for it. Just take. Because they will be coming at you with the same mentality.

Speaker D: Will they be marked in a way that I can identify them?

Speaker A: Your coin will tug.

Speaker D: Okay.

Speaker A: By then it's. They're very close. So.

Speaker C: Is there a way he can increase that code?

Speaker A: Collect more Instead you got two. You gotta pull it 20 yards or so.

Speaker D: So the pole is roughly.

Speaker A: Oh, it's just going to be like.

Speaker D: The number of 10. 10 yards per point.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: At 20 yards.

Speaker A: Actually, let's make it. Oh, let's do 50 yards of coin. Yeah. So I think we'll probably just pick up here next time. Since 9:00. That will be a kind of a good segue and. Yeah. And also think on some more stuff for him. And he may also just have offers, too. If you guys don't have anything particular or if you think it's like something that. Like an item or some sort of power or something that you want, we'll start. We can discuss all that too.

Speaker D: But anybody who has a coin gets an aura. Actually, I'm kind of curious what sort of things. Like I said, I don't know what I'm doing for the game.

Speaker C: Oh, like what. What can we have?

Speaker A: Yeah, he would probably just tell like some more like some of his trials they. He went through and all. I'll make some up. So for next time. So, like, we'll start here again. And like just Laura relaxing with them and hanging out or whatever. You guys can talk to him more because he's like. He's like disturbing and he does have like that aura of like, danger. But also he's just kind of like an interesting guy.

Speaker D: I figured if he wanted to be dead, I'd be dead.

Speaker B: And then.

Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah, because he. He would like his. Since he's collected them. And then you're just a kid, you tell that like, he likes you. Like, likes you. But also.

Speaker D: He fears for what I'm about to do. But there's some of that.

Speaker A: But it's more of. It's unfortunate that a child found, or, you know, a teenager found, has got wrapped up into this.

Speaker C: But it wasn't too early to begin the training.

Speaker D: But that might be a good thing to request.

Speaker C: Good thing for you, bad thing for the world. You got trained early.

Speaker D: Does he know Nanook? Would he know that name?

Speaker A: Oh, yeah, he. He would.

Speaker D: The deity that sent the talons to find it.

Speaker C: Oh, okay.

Speaker D: And it could be the boon might be training a way to. To easily return to there.

Speaker A: Yeah, there's a. And then like as you. When you guys are looking at Everyone. And there's like boons in there that give you stuff. But then there's also careers that like some of those careers could just be like knowledge that he ends up giving you or stuff. But yeah, that's.

Speaker B: Why not.

Speaker A: Well, we'll probably do next time is we'll meet and do the character creation and then jump back into this as your. As your every win characters. And then that way too we can work in some of like his stuff that maybe he tells you guys so you can help build some of that as well.

Speaker D: Yeah. Sorry if I totally touched up garbage.

Speaker A: To do Ancient lore. Oh, no. That's. No like, for me, it's like the gm. Like, I don't necessarily like August. I'll get inspiration for some things occasionally, like, you know, at times and make up stuff. But I really enjoy it when players come up with stuff. It's just like the skeleton holding up like in the carvings and like him being like a Ghost Rider legend character.

Speaker D: I was trying to think of a character with this description. Almost sound like Ghost Rider, which is all vengeance. And it's like, well, Hell Riders are pretty much going around slapping down anything the.

Speaker A: Yep. And then. Yeah, so we'll. I'm. I'll consider this adventure is basically completed because it is. So you guys will have. I haven't calculated it yet, but you will have, I think, several XP points to also spend on everyone. So you're not gonna. So there will be some, like, instant progression and Jock will go through that door.

Speaker B: R. He told them there's that other room.

Speaker A: Oh, up there. Yeah.

Speaker B: He told him there's treasure.

Speaker D: The first one, not the second.

Speaker B: Yeah. I don't want to meet Chill.

Speaker A: Yeah. So I guess we'll do the quick.

Speaker C: He used to go in there and do his trick, then make Jelly a pet.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: I have a feeling Jelly would dissolve me before I make it up.

Speaker B: Can we put Jelly in the rings and then pop in a Help Monster. Go Chili.

Speaker D: Oh, do a donut.

Speaker A: Consider your mount.

Speaker D: But I was wondering if. If a talon would be considered a mount or just. It had to be a horse.

Speaker A: So my. So this is GM to players and you guys would probably include this on your own. My idea with the horse rings is you can put your horse in there and then ride the talons wherever you're trying to travel or into battle, whatever.

Speaker D: Yeah. Horses for going into town.

Speaker A: Yeah. Or other things. Places where the towns don't want to, like, don't really want to go or whatever. Because your horse is going to do anything you ask of it. Now when you pop whatever horse you pop out of that ring as you can just like think and it'll go. It'll do the thing. So if wanted to go grab something with its mouth and bring it to you. It's gonna stuck in jail.

Speaker D: Go get that chair.

Speaker A: Get us it. It will do that to the best of its ability. So you will have a horse like we end up because you. I mean in real life you can train horses that do that kind of crap. Which is hilarious. So it'll be somebody's run that horse.

Speaker D: Do a barrel roll.

Speaker A: Did we learn anything new?

Speaker B: Yep.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: Learned a lot.

Speaker A: Did we overcome no monster or enemy.

Speaker D: I want a card game.

Speaker B: Yeah. We won card games and it turned into mommies loading and mercury.

Speaker A: Did we loot memorable Treasure the rings.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker B: And the boons and whatever we.

Speaker A: Yeah. Because that like what he's offering you is. Is very open ended and he'd make that clear.

Speaker B: Did we get a piece of loot from his room as well or was it just a boom?

Speaker A: That's like. That's like what he's saying is like if so if there's like an eye if you want some like like crazy weapon or something.

Speaker B: Yeah. I have to look at every wind.

Speaker A: You can think it up. You can like this likely will be in here because I also ever when you're more hero like as far as like dealing when you're fighting stuff but it's. It's. I'm just reading and looking at how damage stuff works. It feels more dungeon world esque is where like you can just like lay waste to like trash guys. But you can also get like overwhelmed by trash if you're not smart. So it has. It has that you'll be more durable and well it depends on what you're fighting because a dragon can still straight up just one shot you or something very large could still just straight up wreck your character. Any lowlights or highlights?

Speaker C: I don't know.

Speaker D: That gator was pretty freaky.

Speaker C: My friends tried to kill me.

Speaker B: That was a highlight Almost dying with a highlight know.

Speaker A: Yeah. I was surprised you didn't just access your weird and rip it.

Speaker B: I was going to if it bit me again.

Speaker A: Yeah man.

Speaker B: That guy be really mad because I.

Speaker A: Killed that.

Speaker C: Me not a got a card game after that.

Speaker D: I don't know the way he healed you. How healed that teeth.

Speaker A: That's true. Yeah.

Speaker D: Might decide you know what one isn't enough. Maybe we need two.

Speaker A: Just I guess plans for next session will be like new characters and then and Then I guess. Do you guys have an idea where you want to go to that door. Oh that's right.

Speaker D: And I don't know. Do you have a lead on your sister?

Speaker C: I don't yet. And then whatever I can get to.

Speaker B: The new mark on the map and then I can go clear out that mine.

Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker B: My guy will definitely be more in the crafting.

Speaker A: Yeah, that's all everyone. Like it has project systems so like and it actually has levels. So if you want to like try and build a mythic item you can which would be something you. You could find a mythic item in here. It's pretty free form as far as like.

Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, I'm totally open to trying new systems.

Speaker A: The magic, the magic system is also free form. It's basically a. It has different magnitudes of like spells and after I think the second and third magnitudes are like level nine like level dungeon world stuff to where like you're just like killing an entire town or possibly I think fourth might be like planet level skill. It's not something, it's not something you can't cast those like in combat. I think you can only do can trip in first level spells in combat. The other one's actually take time to do. It's kind of interesting. But yeah, I'll have a little. I'll get a thing posted up.

Speaker B: Do you have an Iron man suit in there on?

Speaker A: If you want to build like you could craft something similar to that.

Speaker B: That's probably what I'm going to do is craft it. It's like look into more like Weird west stuff. Yeah, that's why Jock's going to change a little bit. That's what I wanted to kind of do. But wild ones.

Speaker A: Yeah, wild, wild ones. I'll be.

Speaker B: Doc will be more into crafting and buildings.

Speaker D: Before he died we gave him a heart, brought him back in his skin.

Speaker C: Body, pulled this pistol out. It's got like three different scopes on it that are like this long.

Speaker B: First we build Jarvis.

Speaker C: Right.

Speaker A: And I will say as far as like invention stuff, anything up to 1900 like Earth and his technology will be fine. And what I think what we'll do is a tiny bit of steam cold. We'll do rolling. Yeah. Like well as the years advance like mythic stuff could be. Well there's the whole fan like magic part but like as far as like invention wise we can up to go for Tesla like 30 years. Yeah. Like from the current decade. So like amer like Earth 1860 to 19 or 1890 like that spread Anything in that spread is valid for inventors to make up. So. So you may find some wacky stuff.

Speaker D: So if I get a motorcycle, does it fit in the ring?

Speaker B: Yeah, basically making like weapons.

Speaker A: No, because it's not a horse.

Speaker D: It's an iron horse.

Speaker B: Yeah. Put a bunch of horses in on cycle.

Speaker C: Probably be a little more like healing anyway. Anyhow. At any cost. Yeah. So if it's a little bit strange and people don't realize that it's strange, but it gets the job done.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: Like if I have medicine that people don't want to know where it comes from. I dreamed it from like the. The blood of baby vampires. Like, they don't know this doc has this.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker C: Because I'm thinking like Old west, he had like the snake oil. So I got the cabinet full of snake oil, but it actually works.

Speaker A: Usually there's actually.

Speaker C: Don't know where it came from.

Speaker A: There's a. There is a. Essentially like that career is in. Bloodstep down is one of the careers as like a charlatan type oil salesman guy.

Speaker C: And then.

Speaker A: Yeah, we'll go through all that. All you guys really need to do is kind of look at. Look at some of the. Just get a kind of idea. It's very. It's A2D6 systems, all D6s. But it seems like it'll be actually a really neat system to play. Especially for Old West. Yeah. Yeah. So tomorrow I'll post the link to stuff that for the pages to. You should read.

Speaker B: They survive the car.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: Audrey was getting a little nervous.

Speaker A: I was getting a little nervous too.

Speaker B: But it's like, yeah, I gotta be so d. The person that needed to win the card game. The people that were just like there to play it, like, yeah, we won.

Speaker D: But I got nervous after the first two. Six, two.

Speaker B: Yes. That was crazy.

Speaker D: What are the odds? Well, it must be a sign. And that's what I'm like, how about we negotiate? If I lose this, you just send me out on errands.

Speaker A: He would probably actually be up to that.

Speaker B: That's like he's trapped here.

Speaker A: Yeah. Because I'll make some more. I'll write some stuff. More stuff about that.

Speaker D: Because I mean, as dangerous as he is, he is interesting and friendly. I could see Audrey saying, you know what? You help me out a lot in doing that on the side. As long as it's not like overly weird. It's not like we're gonna go drain the blood of chickens.

Speaker B: And.

Speaker D: What I need to throw people into the faith.

Speaker A: No. A lot of it would probably be actually like recruiting and gathering power to take on vision. A lot of it would be. You would be dealing with a lot of the tribal people and possibly.

Speaker B: Split the veil.

Speaker A: He put the veil up okay. A thousand years ago and before that people had like basically like free reign I guess to the Anwin. So you had all sorts of spirits and demons and dragon type. Like all sorts of crazy stuff will come out of him and both you know, good and bad and tricky and that's. I'm just going to use the hand one of like where a lot of like magic comes from and where a lot of like the fae type creatures and demons. Right. A lot of that stuff comes out of or that's the origin of where they are. And then they may build you know like the hells and other realms. The other planes I guess were built by people that came out of the canon.

Speaker D: There's a novel you might like. It's called Dark Thorn. It's Sean Speakerman. It's very similar and when's there and that's where a lot of the magic of mythic comes from. But it's an urban fantasy. So Merlin start calling but he's got gatekeepers and there's like seven gates and then one's a free roaming agent on both sides and it's. They make sure the magic doesn't come through. They got to guard their portal and on the mythic side you've got all the. The politics going on with your. Your mythical stuff. But at one point in England one guy said we're gonna go conquer it and went through. So you've got that ongoing battle with the magic and the first book was you know what, we're going to take this back magic back and we got modern world and we're going to go conquer the rule of this. I was like that would be a massacre. Modern science would decimate.

Speaker A: So it's.

Speaker D: But it's got a lot of the mythology and craziness going on with portals like you got with England. But you've got the Night Guardians which could easily play into the mythos you want to create.

Speaker A: Yeah, I'm kind of toying with the idea that it's called the precursor right now. But that's essentially like where everything comes from and then there's the culmination where everything ends and then eventually goes back to their precursor. But between that are like out of that came like primordial dragons and humans and they basically like combined to like form universes or whatever like their offspring or like all These other things. Cool. Then I'm kind of toying with, like, different levels of those that are like, active and like, places really. I guess more of a complete, like, saying that even like. And then I think. And then like, I guess the Primordials are like things like. Carousel is a primordial because he keeps time. He keeps time. I guess he's just like a force that you can't really do anything to other than you try and act outside of him.

Speaker D: Which would be epic in and of itself.

Speaker A: Yeah. I have some other stuff written down, but kind of toying with it and then input. I'll probably eventually write some more of it up and put it on the website. So you look at it easily, add to it or say, this sucks, let's do some. Some different stuff with it or whatever. But a lot of this will probably be just stuff that's tied into anything. I'm just kind of having like a universe multiverse thing. And then I'm kind of toying with the idea of if you time travel, you don't actually. You actually. They're jumping into another verse quantum. Yeah, you're. You're actually leaving the one that you were in into another one. So you're not acting like you're just changing. Changing verses, I guess.

Speaker D: So if you went back in time, hoping to take out somebody. Wrong universe.

Speaker A: Yeah, that's. Did you do it?

Speaker D: Yes.

Speaker A: But yeah. And that's why I'm kind of toying with the idea that time's like. It's just like the wheel. So it just like it's just always rolling or whatever.

Speaker D: So it's all just a circle wheel of time.

Speaker A: Yep. It's kind of just a circle. And then there's like infinite wheels. So you're just. When you travel back in time, you're just hopping to a different spot on a different wheel or on a wheel that its current time is over where you're trying to go back. And then if you kill someone and then jump, like up forwards, if you're time magic strong enough, you might get lucky to be in that universe where they died. Or that would just be the universe you jump into as they died. At some point, maybe you didn't even kill. Like, you probably didn't even kill them. But they're dead in that universe.

Speaker D: Armageddon. It's all gonna end. Gotta go back and try and fix.

Speaker A: It and end up someplace else. Yeah, that's all kind of lore stuff I was thinking about, but I probably. I probably will have like all my gold skit or like you could actually go to anything that IGM And I'm totally fine with other people saying like oh we're gm. And you can actually travel to the world UGM through the handling link to whatever it gets is connected to it. So if you wanted to actually get into call stars without number sector you could like find a way to it from that through the handling if he wanted to be. If he's okay with it. And same with like anything that's more about like a table for thing Nick GM just he wants to say hey, we can hook this up. Then you can get there somehow.

Speaker D: Dragon Age with bullets.

Speaker C: Like it's like Pathfinder technically is multi world. So they're like if you're doing sci fi stuff and you're on another world, you might merge science and magic. There you go.

Speaker A: You know that's like. That's why I'd be curious to see how everyone actually plays because it seems like it has really good rules for vehicles and vehicles of different scale fighting each other and stuff. So we. You. We really could like do dungeon woven space in the way actually do have. Someone did write a supplement for Dungeon World that or you can use all the playbooks and stuff and like fly around in a spaceship. It'd be interesting. Yeah.

Speaker D: For subtables. You don't have to do that.

Speaker B: Anyway.

Speaker D: The level of creativity that's where dungeon will really shines is.

Speaker A: Yeah that I think I love the Playbook idea. I think that's one of my favorite thing about Dungeon World is the playbooks are like here's your character and it's kind of gives you framework of what it's supposed to play like what it is. But there's still enough leeway that you can do a lot of stuff with it. Yeah. And I just want to get tired of old West Weird West Ulta. I have a couple sci fi systems that I might throw out for the.

Speaker B: Table to vote on where we'll go.

Speaker A: Fantasy or do something else.

Speaker D: This has been a very nice change from fantasy.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: Even though it has fantasy elements to it.

Speaker B: Yeah.

Speaker A: I'm still like also too like. And your guys have input on this too is like how much like actual like magic type stuff you want to see from other people. Like right now I'm kind of like since the veil's been torn, there's active resistance against I guess the anwin coming through that like maybe like 10% of the population has actually has access to the weird if they're in like this. I'm just going to call them, I guess the church lands or the civilized lands versus the tribal wilderness type lands. They're definitely more weird based because that's what they were originally doing anyways before Mithras arrived.

Speaker D: Does make our next conversation with Ramses more interesting.

Speaker A: Yep.

Speaker C: Hey, we met actual Pale Rider.

Speaker A: And.

Speaker C: He doesn't like, have you ever heard.

Speaker D: Of Ory where you hear that from? Or if that was even allowed.

Speaker A: I was gonna say that.

Speaker D: That would be like.

Speaker A: That probably would have been like struck from their record, like early. What would have been his name or seen his name? Like, I think they would have done their best to erase. Erase and incorporate. Yeah.

Speaker D: Like, the only reason you know about Moses is because somebody wrote a book and it made it out of Egypt.

Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. A lot of that. And just how like, a lot of the, like, it's very similar to like how they. How old pagan religions have absorbed them and changed them to fit Halloween. Yeah, how that. It's very similar, like in this world has is. That's a very similar thing has happened from when Mythmas arrived.

Speaker B: Easter for sure.

Speaker A: That's how they've been shifting stuff. And then it's just gotten way worse in the last 10 years because the veil got torn.

Speaker D: Which would actually be interesting when you're celebrating one holiday and you got to go into a town and you meet somebody who's celebrating the original holiday and they've got the information you need for.

Speaker A: Oh, and you guys will get to roll damage dice again.

Speaker B: Yes, please.

Speaker D: I've been too worried about that. I'm more worried about whether or not I hit anything.

Speaker A: Yeah, you'll still get to do that too.

Speaker C: But.

Speaker B: I don't think I want to ever play a system where you need to auto hit.

Speaker A: It feels weird. Like, this one's better because it like, better than Uncharted Worlds because at least I like to narrate like how I feel like the fight should, like as far as like damage goes. But then there's also like the expectation of players too that like, I'm just shooting this thing, like in the face or whatever, and it's not dying. And so like Uncharted Worlds was even more abstract if you just rolled in the play, like depending on the role the player and gm, like described the result. Like how the whole fight went or like the player had full control if they got like the 10 plus or the 6 minus the GM had. It was just strange system wasn't very fun. No, it was. It had some neat things, but the combat in it was like super. Let down.

Speaker D: With the negotiation and storytelling on this system. I kind of like how quick combat can move.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker D: Which has been a plus.

Speaker A: Yeah. Everyone does have initiative, but it's pretty simple.

Speaker D: But for a small group, it really works.

Speaker A: Yeah. But also, like, it is like dungeon world, where a lot. A lot of the stuff. You'll probably fight it just get one shot at anyways. So it'll be. I'll be curious to see how it plays out. Yeah. And if it's absolute garbage and we don't like that, we have. I have some other weird bus systems.

Speaker C: There's probably some systems, too. You could just make western.

Speaker A: Oh, yeah. I mean, we could play. We could see the dungeon world and play Western. It wouldn't take a whole lot to, like, change some of it to be. Oh, you're using guns instead of, like, bows and arrows now.

Speaker C: So I know you got a new hat.

Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker C: I feel like this system is very particular, like the horses. And someone has to have this.

Speaker B: Pull it.

Speaker C: You have to have this.

Speaker D: But this would be really easy to skim for any other system.

Speaker A: Yeah.
