This is an old revision of the document!
Speaker A: No, I went to weddings where that was the case. But.
Speaker B: It'S fun.
Speaker A: It's an interesting exercise. You know, you can make a thing. But is it fun? You know, want to be interesting but not overly complicated.
Speaker B: That's the hard part.
Speaker C: Of them is fun. But that number crunching.
Speaker A: Yeah. So how do you do that in a way that's interesting but fairly simplistic? So I think in any system, there's math, but how do you make the math work for the fiction? Superficial.
Speaker B: Has to work for math.
Speaker A: Yeah. But I think there's a place for those systems. Like, I think Pathfinder is fun. I think Path Builder made it enjoyable. Like, I can't imagine not having Path Builder. I try to keep track of all that stuff. I can see why for a while they're even dnd trying to do, like, the little cards to, like, keep track of your skills so, like, people can go, well, I'm gonna cast this, you know, try to, like, put something in front of people so they keep track of it. But there's just so much stuff to keep track of. Sometimes in some of these systems where.
Speaker C: I'm like, I don't know, online MMOs are able to hide it.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: You don't see all the number content in the background.
Speaker B: Right.
Speaker A: Well, so sometimes it's like. It's still, like, comes to the front in, like, crafting and stuff. I've literally reinstalled an MMO before, opened up, like, the storage interface and saw, like, here's 12 different kinds of currency.
Speaker B: And then uninstalled the game.
Speaker A: It's like, you know that feeling where.
Speaker B: You'Re just like the. The Asian, especially the Korean, that way. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. That was like Lost Ark was a pretty neat, like, a cool game, but, like, you keep playing and it's just like, currency, currency, currency, currency. So you just like.
Speaker C: So it's like a microtransaction.
Speaker D: No, no, it was just different current.
Speaker B: Currencies for different things.
Speaker C: So the game world itself, depending on where you were, had a different currency.
Speaker B: It was just for different things. And there was, like, tons of subsystems. Like, Black Desert Online is like, the same thing.
Speaker A: Like, what was the one that we also. No, not for sudden. This was actually a while ago we played the mmo, had the really cool artwork that's kind of like watercolor paint. Why am I blanking out?
Speaker D: New World.
Speaker A: Yeah, New World was actually. New World was pretty enjoyable, but definitely was grinding. No, this was. It was the sequel. Really good artwork. Why am I blanking out on Guild.
Speaker B: Wars 2 Guild Wars.
Speaker A: Guild Wars 2 kind of got to that point of their material system for crafting.
Speaker B: Yep.
Speaker D: I never got into it.
Speaker A: I crafted a bunch but man, even while I was crafting it got even more grandiose. They had a release for like it was an update in an expansion thing and it just added so much content. That was actually one that I did install. Look at my inventory and just uninstall it. Like not interested. It's actually why I don't go into like Warframe and some of those. They're fun to like run around and play. But there's so much like I. I'm playing this not to learn. Like I don't know because they want you to buy platinum or whatever.
Speaker C: Interested on that?
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: It's all like to push you towards spending money. Yeah. Like first to send it was probably the push. Like you could go grind stuff and they at least gave you the drop rates which like some of the stuff you needed to like level your character was like one to like 6%. And it was a boss fight you had to go do. So there's like 40 minutes.
Speaker D: Just gone 40 minutes.
Speaker B: And then if you were lucky. But before you could do that you had to go do missions, the farm for the thing that could activate the boss but also.
Speaker D: And that could have like allow you.
Speaker B: To pick the drop that you want. So you have the chance at the 1 to 3%. No, it was insane. It was like oh my. Or you can like, you know, $10, $20, $100, more than that. Whatever you could just buy. Yeah.
Speaker A: There's a character I'm like, oh, that's kind of an interesting support looking character I'd like to unlock because we might run around together and. But I started doing the math and unlocking it and it was all that kind of stuff. I'm going to have to fight like six different bosses, but each one of them I'm going to have to get like the special component. But to get the special component I have to go to these events that are on a timer and I have to actually farm a thing to actually get the event. And you have to use a special type of like, you know, fire or whatever to unlock it, do the battle and maybe that drops. So there's a percentage chance to get the percentage chance to get the percentage chance. I'm like, oh yeah. The boss fights were fun.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: Like the game was good.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: When you did it. But it's like I don't want to have to fight the same boss 50 times and still Maybe not get the thing.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker A: For a character and it's just like no.
Speaker B: Yeah. Or that's at least don't probably spend more money than like a new game. Yeah. To get the character or something. Like it was stupid.
Speaker A: Warhammer has. It's grainy. It has a little more dialed in, they're a little more balanced. Like I look at the grind and I go. I'd probably do that. But where I'm at in my life. Not quite too.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: It's like I've run around with Caleb a few times, shot some stuff up, but it's kind of fun.
Speaker B: But it's like I just can't drive.
Speaker C: You're not ready to go back to wow?
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: Well, I actually. Right now I actually do have a wow subscription but only because Katrina's dad's playing. And so when he comes and visits I open up my wow subscription and then we sit and play and just talk like that's that. I'm just playing with my, you know, father in law and that's fine. Yeah. He knows.
Speaker C: I was just thinking of the level of grind that I don't think WOW will ever be able to get away from it.
Speaker A: Well, he doesn't like that either. And they've opened it up where you can do some of the instances with other people. They've turned some of the instances into 10 bands and there's a lot of focus on five man content and pick up stuff. It's more arcadey of getting into stuff. They still have the big grinds but I'm just not interested in any of that. So I enjoy. I've just been playing the new characters in classes I've never played and hanging out with my father in law, that's fun, that's cool. But I actually haven't played for a couple of months, actually several months because they're not in town and I'm never awake when they're. I think they're in Georgia. So I'm never around when he's playing.
Speaker B: So. Yeah, the three hour time difference is huge. Yeah.
Speaker A: Plus he's, you know, retired.
Speaker B: So.
Speaker A: He'S the. Every once in a while he'll call us at like 6:30 and say you're burning daylight. It's one of his favorite jokes. Then we'll talk to him for a.
Speaker B: Minute and go back to bed.
Speaker A: So he. He gets up early and goes to bed at a reasonable hour. We turn him into a little bit of a night out though when they come to town, which is like 10pm for him. His huge night Out. But it's good. But, dude, I played Classic Wow. I'm like, this feels good. I played the updated wow. And I was like, this is a whole other game. And I could tell it's made for, like, ADD fidget spinners. There's just so much that was in my face. I was like, there's too much going on. Like, I want my old interface. Introduce this to me slowly. Like, this is crazy. There was so much stuff, but it was fun. It was just surprising how much it.
Speaker D: Had changed since classic was enough for me.
Speaker B: I'm done.
Speaker D: We played that one for, like, a month or two, and it was like, world's too different. I have to relearn the whole map again.
Speaker B: Well, I think they introduced a bunch of new, like, system stuff, too. I think the classic and they condensed a lot. They got rid of a lot of stuff.
Speaker D: The.
Speaker A: The trees for doing. Your skills and stuff are very different. I wouldn't say it's bad. You just have to get, like, used to it.
Speaker D: Like, this is a new game. I'm gonna go play something else.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: It is a new game.
Speaker D: Oh, man.
Speaker C: I didn't mind the map change. I was frustrated with the phasing.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: Yeah. All of a sudden, some of that was cool and some of it was frustrating.
Speaker D: Yes. Like, oh, here's a whole new map. Have fun. I was too ingrained. And I know that. I know the routes and stuff if I don't want to relearn all this.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: There's just so many thousands of.
Speaker C: Being underwater. That was actually a comfort.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: I enjoyed that. They did to thousand Beatles. You gotta run around on a boat.
Speaker C: And run on the bottom of the bed.
Speaker A: Yeah. That was kind of fun. There were some elements.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: But the full new game was absolutely.
Speaker D: Yeah, there's too much.
Speaker A: I wouldn't say it's bad. It was just so jarringly different because you have your expectation of, like, I'm gonna play wow. It's like.
Speaker B: A remaster saying wow's a bad game. It's like saying, fortnite's a bad game.
Speaker A: Right.
Speaker B: My cup of tea. Yeah. They're raking in, like, billions of dollars. A great new. Apparently, they're doing something right.
Speaker A: Yeah. And it's not like their storyline's been extended and stuff. And some people may still talk about it, so at least they've still got.
Speaker D: Their lore family, which is the racist Darth Vader.
Speaker A: What's that?
Speaker D: All the A.I. darth Vader.
Speaker A: Oh, yeah. Where the people were going and talking to him in Fortnite Yes.
Speaker D: Oh, they're racist.
Speaker B: Oops.
Speaker A: That's driving to get us off on a tail.
Speaker D: No, Fortnite's fun. So you understand the meta. And then it's like, this game's not for me.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: Just, I like playing with you guys because we kind of have. We Borg a little bit. Yeah. And then I like playing support stuff, but I'm just not as good a Twitch Revised person anymore. So, like, we play cities. I'm like, I'm totally fine helping patch the ship. You know, we're gonna go kill everybody. Will you please drag the ship to us? Absolutely. I'll do that. That sounds great. And occasionally it's like, all. All aboard. Let's go kill him. And I'll follow Nick up. One of my most popular positions is to watch Nick's butt climb up the ladder.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: And then just follow suit and make sure he doesn't die, because then everybody else dies.
Speaker C: Don't we play that anymore?
Speaker D: Like, it's so buggy.
Speaker A: Yeah, I watch Wizard Levins on Twitch. I watch a couple people play it.
Speaker B: Yeah, we still watch.
Speaker D: I still watch streamers.
Speaker B: It's pretty fun to watch, but we have, like, over a thousand hours. And then they've added so much new stuff that would have been sick when we were.
Speaker D: Yes.
Speaker B: Like a grapple hook gun. Now they put, like, zip lines all over the island.
Speaker D: No, you can grapple people. Like, if you're doing cannon to cannon, you can actually shoot people and fall over to your boat.
Speaker A: What's the big streamer?
Speaker B: There's boxy. There's boxy Fresh. That's probably the biggest hot streamer.
Speaker A: Anyway. I don't remember which one it was. It was one of the more popular ones, but he did that to a guy on the ship and just wasted him as soon as pulled him under the ship. And I was like, I don't remember that.
Speaker B: That's pretty cool.
Speaker C: That would be amazing.
Speaker A: So much stuff in the middle of combat, too. Like, that's pretty deadly. We just.
Speaker B: Boxy. He was fighting. He found, like, some toxic. Since he. Because the best thing in that game is, like, you. You, like, swim over a rowboat, over to someone else's ship or whatever event they're doing and just sit there and hide and just watch them do the thing. And when they finish it, you take. You kill them and take the loot or. Or try and just steal it without seeing.
Speaker A: Yeah. I waited for them, like, 20 minutes with them hiding, waiting for an event.
Speaker D: We've been waiting, like, five minutes of the best gameplay it's just fun watching people do this though, because the PvE is not hard, like, and the players in that are on a whole nother level of bad. And everyone knows that most players are just bad at the game. And it's like how you have a sword that blocks everything and you can sword lunge and just kill like all the PB in the line.
Speaker A: It's kind of like Minecraft. It's kind of like Minecraft without the enchants.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: You all have the same gear.
Speaker D: There's like, oh, that's the best part. Everyone has the same weapons.
Speaker A: Everything's cosmetic, so there's nothing you can do. Even playing yourself up against someone else. That's 100. Even if that guy killed you, he either, like exploited a bug, got the jump on you, or he's just better than you. But there's no. There's no. Like, his. His weapon does more damage. It's like, nope, it does the same amount. You've got fruit you can eat to heal up and it's all timing.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: And reflex.
Speaker B: It's pure skill game. It's awesome.
Speaker A: That part I really like.
Speaker C: Those are rare.
Speaker A: Although.
Speaker B: Yes.
Speaker A: I have to say, even though it's probably unhealthy, I get a kick out of how salty people get.
Speaker D: Oh, it's the best.
Speaker A: And Nick and Mike will both have a soundboard application up. So they like throw music out. So it was a Christmas time one and Nick's near their ship and they have a proximity sound where if you like, you can talk into the comms and your opponents can hear you. So Nick's playing Christmas music and we're stealing their stuff. We're stealing.
Speaker D: And then they all died. Like, one crew just died laughing to where they couldn't function. They're like, what?
Speaker A: Yeah, there have been a few times where they were like, where are you? And end up stopping with them. Then yeah, they're like, just let us go and then we steal their stuff anyways. But that part's been pretty fun. Weird sounds or squeaks sound or Mike playing his farts.
Speaker D: Oh, I do that all the time when I have it installed. They just hide on their boat and just play a fart sound.
Speaker A: They start looking around.
Speaker D: You watch them run around, try to find you. You can you.
Speaker A: We did do a kind of exploit thing where they call it, it's tucking, but that's like hiding on the ship. But you hide in a certain way where your head is inside an object. Your, like name plate disappears. So even if somebody's close, they Won't see. They have to see your body.
Speaker D: Well, then they finally added emote. So because that's like, now you can just tuck. They have barrel tucks. Now you can hide as a barrel. I haven't played since they did that. Now you can hide as treasure chest. Now like the actual loot, you can become a mimic.
Speaker B: Y. Yeah, basically.
Speaker A: So you just fully went into it.
Speaker D: Oh, yeah.
Speaker B: They embrace the tuck. That's awesome.
Speaker D: They have a blow dart gun that you can change into whatever you hit someone like singing, turn into their pirate and look like them.
Speaker A: Wow. I've seen Nick actually tuck at the. The control wheel of the ship and have them piloting it. Oh, yeah, he's stuck, right? He's like tucked right next to them and they don't even see him. They're just like running up. They're just looking out at the sea, driving the ship and like your bad guy's about to kill you and he's right here.
Speaker D: That's the best hiding. Sit there and watch them.
Speaker C: But it's amazing that the, the company embraced it instead of trying to nerf it. Oh, I'm sorry, but your name plate always has to show. So when you tuck, your name plate's always going to. But it'll cut through the barrel for.
Speaker D: Oh, they were smart. And they designed like actual pirating into.
Speaker A: The game's only like 20 bucks. Like it's a. A lot of entertainment for 20 bucks.
Speaker D: It is now with all the content.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: There's so much to do.
Speaker A: I think on sale, it's like 15 or something. Yeah, it's been pretty good. But you guys are deadly. You, you two and Mike.
Speaker B: It's a great.
Speaker D: No, the salty people are the best.
Speaker B: When they talk crap. They call you bad and then he doesn't destroy you.
Speaker D: Then they get quiet. They're running their mouth till they start getting what? And they're just dead quiet. And you're like, huh.
Speaker A: Then they really.
Speaker B: They realize there's a skill gap and it's in their deficit.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker D: Or if they use gamer words, you go, what was that? Because if you record them, you can send it in and it'll get banned. And so I had. Well, it's obs, but just record your screen. So I had that just set up on a hot. So someone would say like the N word, you know, or like, you know, you're like, what was that? That's all my learned. But it was rare you ran into those people.
Speaker B: Yeah, it was like five.
Speaker D: Yeah, it was fun.
Speaker B: Like a.
Speaker D: Like, what was that?
Speaker A: What's also good is there's that this. When they do this big fortress out of all the treasure, there's this highly explosive barrel that they would get.
Speaker D: And the Mega King.
Speaker A: Mega King. But everybody would. They'd always try to like put it up on the top of their mast, like to try to get it away from blowing up their ship. Like if it went off, it shouldn't like kill the whole ship. It'll just damage it. But that's one of these. We just watch and just wait for them to like, the person, you know, starts climbing up the mast and then it's like. Sniper rifle. Yeah, I was gonna say it just kills everyone on the ship. It starts to sink. Because now nobody can like fix this.
Speaker D: Ship starts to sink and they need.
Speaker B: As well pick up treasure. That was also a skill, like a skill lift test. Because for whatever reason, like people that aren't good at the game would always bring like these exploit the explosives onto their ship, like first person. So when I'm just watching, it's like, well, we probably won't have to worry about these guys as they bring like they explode.
Speaker D: The first thing out is the thing that hits sink your boat.
Speaker A: So there's one guy watching me like, I think that's all the treasure Hazy watch the last guy hopping into the ship. You know, kills everybody on the surface of the ship and you just go take all the.
Speaker D: Some of the fun is you hide in the crow's nest where they take it and then as they're driving away, you light it and drop it down. Then something just blows up on their deck.
Speaker B: Which it'll.
Speaker A: It'll like one shot the ship.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Even if it's not the biggest. If it's the biggest ship, it won't one shot it. But if nobody's around, if they're dead, it'll take too long. And the ship last thing from taking water on and nobody's around to repair it.
Speaker D: Some of the funniest stuff.
Speaker A: Yeah, it's made some people pretty.
Speaker D: But the end game is things tough to waste other people's time because you don't care about gold or anything.
Speaker A: Thank you both for the fun that we've had in this game. Because I never would have found that fun on my own.
Speaker D: All about wasting other people's time.
Speaker B: That's what after you become a the pirate lord is when you. Because there's like three factions that you max out and then you get like five or six. Yeah, there is now.
Speaker C: So can you be like max out with all the factions or do you pick one and the others hate you for it?
Speaker B: No, no, it's a very. It's just a total open sandbox game with proximity comp. And it's kind of like. It's kind of Minecraft, sort of without building. Like, you're like you're out here to go make your own adventure. They have some lore stories that you can go into, which are pretty fun.
Speaker A: You can get quests to go find certain treasures. And sometimes there's a quest string like you're talking about the story.
Speaker B: Yeah, there's events where you go fight PVD stuff. Go fishing. Now that's a wheel to go. My shark.
Speaker D: It's huge.
Speaker A: Ghosts.
Speaker B: Yeah, ghost. Those are always fun, too. Stealing fish.
Speaker D: Stealing fish heist were always the best.
Speaker C: You just swim under and take it off the hook.
Speaker D: Before they can really. You put. If they're not paying attention, like, because you stand there when you reel it in, you stand there with it. And so they don't put in their inventory. You can just grab it off their line and, like, run off with it. Or before they made them treasure. Now. So you actually have to have them on your boat with their trophy side before they went in your inventory. But then your inventory could only hold five. And so people would do a storage crate and you could put infinite in there. And so the best would be if you could sneak on. Why they're fishing. Grab that storage crate that's full of their fish. Swim away.
Speaker A: Ouch, that hurts me.
Speaker D: Or if you're fighting them or they're doing it and they spot you, you go to their food barrel and you bite all their heads off. Because then they can't sell them. You just sit there and eat them.
Speaker A: That's like cruel.
Speaker D: That's even worse. It was like.
Speaker A: You'Re like, you're not even getting any benefit from this. It's like, actually, I'm having fun.
Speaker B: Yep, that was always fun. Sneak in and just eat all their fish because you can't steal it all. That was back too, then before the barrels, because they made your ship has barrels for the supplies and those float up now. But before they didn't, they just. So if anything in there, it was gone. So, like, if they had a ton of fish and they were sinking of it, like. Or if we could, like, sink or whatever, we would just eat all the fish.
Speaker D: Yeah, we would go eat all their food or steal all their planks for repair.
Speaker B: Yes. That was always fun.
Speaker C: Now you've got a big ship. Could you repair it and steal their ship?
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: As long as you keep killing them, you can drive their ship. Like everyone. You can man anyone's ship in that game. That's what makes it fun. You respawn on your ship, but if you keep killing them or like if they're on an island, you can just like send their boat away.
Speaker B: Put up.
Speaker A: The sails and then jump off.
Speaker D: We've had one chase and you were with us. We had our galleon and we were chasing a boat. I don't remember. It's probably another galleon. And so me and leg, we shoot. Actually you shoot out the cannons too. And so we shoot. We see a boat and it's the three man, which is a brig. It's a little bit smaller than the guy. And we're like, oh, we see a boat, so we shoot out to it and they're on the island and we just take it. And somehow I think we cut off that other boat and we just rambling with these other people. And it was just funny because we like came out of nowhere in this bridge.
Speaker B: Yeah, because I shot. I left boat and Paul got. I left into the ship and he goes, stop the other boat. And so Paul is driving. Trying to drive a galleon by yourself, which is nearly impossible.
Speaker A: Yeah, I was doing it, but it was like, like come around. Bring the boat to the other side of the island. I'm like, okay, because there's like four points that you can go to.
Speaker D: Like you have to man, like you.
Speaker A: Have to rotate them and it takes a second and like bring the sails up, down. It's. It's like a mini game. But it's just like. Because it's so big, you have to.
Speaker B: Run back and forth and still it takes a long.
Speaker D: It takes longer on the bigger cells too to pull them up. But no, that one was crazy.
Speaker B: I remember cuz I was on the. I think it was a break. We were chasing dude. I was like on the deck that I dropped anchor fighting guys. And I just see you guys like come from behind an island. Like full speed on the.
Speaker D: Just like ram them and jump on their boat and anchor them. No, like they was insane. One of the best games ever made.
Speaker A: We had somebody chasing us one time where we were going to log. But they showed up and so we like, we were tired, we didn't want to fight. But so we just like took out and chased us. But then we just started dancing on the deck and we were like, we're just going to log when we get to the side of the map. We let them chase us all the Way to the side of the map and then just logged out.
Speaker B: It's like, okay, so, yeah, so we log out and then your boat sinks. So they just chases. And then all of a sudden, your boat just like, sinks and there's nothing on it.
Speaker A: We don't feel like fighting you, but we're still gonna waste your time.
Speaker D: We're just hanging out.
Speaker A: This is one of the last things we always do is like get on the shore, like, instruments. Play instruments, and then burn your ship to the ground while you're playing instruments. And it's just like a ritual for us. So the real light was we'll just do that while we're still on the ship.
Speaker D: That was that game, was it?
Speaker A: We were definitely the thieves part of Sea of Thieves. So I'm gonna take all our time talking.
Speaker B: Yes.
Speaker A: That was the most unexpected fun I got out of 20, 25 bucks.
Speaker C: A lot of them hit. Really does come down to the social aspects.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: Playing with you three is absolutely a lot. I really rarely played that myself.
Speaker B: No.
Speaker D: It's hard mode solo.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: Well, like, you guys broke me too, because I didn't want to go do the PVE stuff. Like. Like there's a ship. Like, I'm not gonna attack that by myself.
Speaker B: No. All right, let's see. Last time.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: Oh, let's see. Yeah. I mean, who got the letter from Nora? Next time, the stories about circulating about ghostly wells heard at night.
Speaker D: Just checking. That's Andrew's.
Speaker B: Then you guys arrived at Braves Landing. Giggle Circus was there about a month ago. Yeah. You guys talked to Ramses.
Speaker D: They like, send out runners before to say, hey, we're coming to town every day to show up.
Speaker B: Dude. Giggles Circuit. Just a circus.
Speaker D: They'll probably search it and wait for him.
Speaker C: And if they knew where they're. If people knew where they were going, they might try and take them out.
Speaker B: Yeah. There's a 15 enforcers were friendly. You guys made the plan. And team one was Cash and Doc to take out Frank. Incredible.
Speaker D: Well, yeah.
Speaker B: The second team was Jack and Audrey and Raul. They go take get Happy in the ledger. That went super smooth. Then after some negotiations with Happy, he agreed to cooperate. Let's see. Yep. And then the next day, you guys took the red. I guess took a short nap. So it was already the next day. Let's see. Happy Roan running the town bell unannounced. Jack's leadership, or I guess the town takeover. Doc calls out the enforcer squad and friendlies are exiled after rationing. Then Frank's fate was decided by the crowd of chanting throwing the river cinder block and Carter's cut. And then Ramsey forms a town council with Hackney. Some others rollouts appointed sheriff. The party rested until noon and then they went to go ambush the coin. You guys ambushed him. I guess this is where he will pick up too. And I forgot I had a couple review things but yeah so you guys. Jack recognized Otis and then he had a floating Gatling gun. There's the 12 tough spawn.
Speaker C: Just gotta get working again. Lightning the strange things to get.
Speaker B: See Doc and Jack got started fire. Otis fired back with his Gatling gun and it disappeared. Three tufts went down in the initial exchange. Cash blew up Otis's horse with dynamite. Then Audrey disabled the Gatling gun with light Beat is in. Ollie turn five of the corpses into Scout and then Jack down to Otis. And then the doc got the other the remaining people to surrender. So you guys have seven tufts and like 10 horses or something like that. We haven't done anything else but yeah before we pick up I did print. I just printed. They're just like the scale just kind of rough how the scale works. So you guys can read over that if you want. I'll help stuff make a little more sense. When I say something is scaled. The book is kind of unclear in some points and the example they show is like kind of counter victory of what is written. Well we're gonna do this so that those are based. These are pretty much straight out of the boat. Just optimized I guess. No, I don't got anything else. Yeah. So you guys are outside of bridge landing a couple models and standing around with Otis's body and some cuffs and skeletons. Oh yeah. Steve, I just gave you a copy of Ollie's character sheet there I believe.
Speaker C: Yeah, I said that I wasn't quite sure.
Speaker B: You can drive her around during comb.
Speaker C: Unnatural armor is that just reduced by 2?
Speaker B: It's scale too so it actually. Well it'll generally do it by juices damage by 2 just most stuff you most damage stuff you fighting only has has been skill 1 most of the time.
Speaker C: So yeah I was just trying to figure out zeros.
Speaker B: Oh yeah.
Speaker C: And then the two it's like. So it's good armor or bad armor.
Speaker B: Yeah, that's the. That's like the weird thing with scale. She doesn't have protection but she does against most stuff she's against scale one.
Speaker A: She's dressed in video game female armor. It's just like red Sonia bikini.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: So it's actually worse than regular armor.
Speaker B: Yeah. So you guys are by the corpses. Oh, this is bought.
Speaker C: Check out Otis. I'm figuring if he's got a floating Gatling gun, he's probably got a point.
Speaker D: I would take the Gatling guns pipe to my own.
Speaker A: Making sure that nobody else is around. So kind of. I don't know. The Gatling gun would have docked a little spooked. Just making sure that there's not more coming.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: So I guess it'd be just down the road, just a little bit.
Speaker B: Making sure we're clear. Okay. Not like too far right within. I shot made 100 yards. 200 yards. Yeah.
Speaker C: Andre's making the assumption that the big top has the coin. It actually could be any one of the thoughts when he's starting there.
Speaker B: All right. Yeah. You search through his pockets and you find five.
Speaker A: Five coins?
Speaker B: Yep.
Speaker A: Holy cats.
Speaker D: Wow, he's rich.
Speaker A: A lot of heads.
Speaker B: Yeah, he did.
Speaker A: Congrats.
Speaker B: And then based on what we found.
Speaker C: Out, Let me show the person I'm supposed to go after by taking this guy out of order. Does that mean I now have two people after me? I don't know that I'll probably find that out.
Speaker B: So you wouldn't. You wouldn't know.
Speaker D: Check the map.
Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. So you have no idea because your map still shows the coin in the Fortress of Light up there. But. Yeah, there's. Yeah, you don't.
Speaker C: Well, I know what I'm doing for my downtime. At least a good chunk of it.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: Well, if he was after you and you're after someone else.
Speaker C: No, he wasn't after me. He wasn't.
Speaker A: He was after Jock, but he was following us. So how would he know if it weren't for the coins?
Speaker C: Have lifelong experience together. Well, not anymore.
Speaker D: Yeah. Tell Audrey to look for papers or anything on him too. Any information.
Speaker C: Yeah, see if there's a Wanting poster for you. How much you're worth.
Speaker A: 10 silver.
Speaker B: What?
Speaker C: Controlling interest in a major railroad.
Speaker B: I say you would find. You would find like, I guess, a list of things and books over crossed out.
Speaker C: Is Jacques one of them?
Speaker B: Yeah, Jock's on there. He's not crossed out, though.
Speaker A: Congrats on.
Speaker D: Yep. They didn't have cover.
Speaker B: Probably.
Speaker A: Yeah, that was rough. We got messed up.
Speaker B: And there's one other name on there that's not crossed out yet.
Speaker C: So I get that list to. To Jock with all the other paperwork, orders, letters.
Speaker B: There would. There wouldn't be like. And there. There'd be like some. He'd have some point and stuff, but he had. Not really carry like any correspondence type stuff. Yeah, no reason. Like a bloodhound. He had this list of targets and that's what he does. I'd say there. There are seven names on there total. Two left to finish. Hey J.
Speaker C: You recognize any of these? I mean other than yours of course.
Speaker B: Nope. Say that GM that's your fault if.
Speaker D: You recognize or not. And then start rounding up all the guns. That's the tough if they were hired. Are they part of stable and cena?
Speaker B: I'll say they probably all worked but they're pretty large.
Speaker D: They work for Sable.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: Well that's unfortunate.
Speaker A: More than working for who?
Speaker D: Sable and Senior. Where I'm from.
Speaker B: Where?
Speaker D: It's the trading company I used to work for.
Speaker B: What's it called?
Speaker D: Sable and Senu.
Speaker B: Hanging with smugglers. How do you smell it as stable? It's just like stable without.
Speaker A: Okay, gotcha. This trading company.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: Smuggling. Kind of a black ops black market.
Speaker A: Where are they centered?
Speaker B: On it.
Speaker D: Other side.
Speaker B: Living in a shore.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: Thank you.
Speaker A: I was making a note because I never noted that before.
Speaker B: Shadows carry what the sun cannot see.
Speaker D: Y.
Speaker B: And you would have like learned that like they do blood contracts but they're people that work for them. Yeah.
Speaker D: If you leave here one such life.
Speaker C: So how do we get you out of your blood contract? So it's not like we find the piece of paper and burn it and set you free.
Speaker B: No. Kind of think of like their. I guess their leadership kind of does it like the Templars do in Dragon age. They prick you with a needle because they're. They're based out of a monster controlled territory. Yeah.
Speaker D: Used to be a big fishing village before the weird.
Speaker B: Can they track you with that?
Speaker D: I don't know.
Speaker B: I say Jock probably wouldn't. Wouldn't know.
Speaker C: Because his coins didn't show up. Audrey would guess.
Speaker A: Yes. Well they're probably eventually fake your death.
Speaker C: Figure out a way to break the contact. A piece of paper with the blood on it or a vial in a bottle to.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Just hope you guys whatever it is you're doing to clean up.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: I'd ask this house where they can't like did they come from the initial.
Speaker B: I say this group and then you got. He would have picked them up in torn water just the capital Gridwater. That's where they live, where they're from.
Speaker D: So I would just line them up after anyone's got any more questions.
Speaker B: Say they're all.
Speaker D: They're all kind of like how young are they?
Speaker B: They'd all be like. They'd be different ranges, all different ages. Late teens probably to late twenties maybe.
Speaker D: Either lie here next to Otis or break your oath.
Speaker C: Run away and enjoy.
Speaker B: The.
Speaker D: Either come to brave landing and build something worth building or lie down in the dirt giving them pure roll.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: Intimidation. Wrong.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: I think when you say one of the newbies. Oh, looks like that's not a problem.
Speaker A: Way to start the next.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: Things to happen here.
Speaker B: Right.
Speaker A: It's awesome actually. It makes fictional sense.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: That one really needed it.
Speaker B: Yeah. All of them very much like other gang members or cult people are. Yeah. Say they. They all like. So we'd rather we will die for Sable. Your choice.
Speaker C: To make it easier, would you empty your pockets out first and put it here on hold that. A handkerchief on the ground.
Speaker A: That's a lot. Both my pistols and behind. Behind them and oh yeah, keep them gun tr.
Speaker B: Maybe if you have like a few more coins and like cigarettes and like random pocket stuff. Nothing. Nothing of note.
Speaker C: Well, he's tired of picking through dead people's pockets at the moment.
Speaker D: Get the money before it's covered in blood.
Speaker B: Exactly. Don't have to washing now.
Speaker C: Dude's over easy.
Speaker D: Nope. And then I'd probably start with like the oldest one. Got them now.
Speaker C: Execution style. Back in the head.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: Make it quick. Then after each one I'd be like, you guys really sure you want to do this? Definitely the younger guy.
Speaker B: Yeah. And if you want to try and check with any of them after you kill one, he's telling you go ahead.
Speaker A: So this is after the first one.
Speaker D: Yeah, yeah.
Speaker B: She walks up and shoots the first one.
Speaker D: The oldest looking one. The 13 almost double sixes. The swing.
Speaker B: Two of them.
Speaker D: And I would be more like also like we can protect you guys. We have a fence we're building. We can deal with people.
Speaker B: Like I was going to say. Yeah. After you or you ordered them to like stand in age and then shoot the oldest one. Say two of the youngest on the end. Well, they're like wait, wait, wait. You're offering something better. A lot better though.
Speaker A: I kind of walk not close behind.
Speaker B: But say you have to agree that.
Speaker A: You may have to go into a process to test your honesty.
Speaker D: Sorry.
Speaker B: But.
Speaker A: But his words are true.
Speaker B: They're like better than the lane in the dirt.
Speaker A: Death wise. I actually say have that shoe other two. I'm behind them though. I click both my guns.
Speaker D: There's six of them right now.
Speaker B: There's seven total killed one and two. Two.
Speaker A: So I say that's the other four. I guess.
Speaker B: If you give me a roll. You're trying to con so.
Speaker A: I Guess I would say, like, I tell them, like, back him, backing him. What he says is true. And as a doctor, this is not my favorite course, but I'd rather help somebody with a new life and put somebody on the ground. But I don't mind bleeding you if I have to.
Speaker D: They're from stables. That's all Jock would deal with.
Speaker B: 11 is this mind no appeal.
Speaker A: Appeal, sorry. 9.
Speaker D: They.
Speaker B: You don't get any more takers.
Speaker A: Just look at you and you're like.
Speaker B: What.
Speaker D: Do we have to.
Speaker B: So you can still go. I was just gonna say, like, you can still, like, shoot when it goes down. It's just two of them converted, so I. The difficulty got harder. So, yeah, Doc just wasn't as convincing. Or these guys aren't ready. Just.
Speaker A: So you shoot one.
Speaker D: I did shoot one and do the same thing. We're down to three, and that's 12 dice.
Speaker C: Morale track.
Speaker B: Boom.
Speaker C: Check.
Speaker B: All right, so there's. Yeah, there's actually three.
Speaker A: There's three left.
Speaker D: There's four.
Speaker B: Oh, yeah, I didn't say the last. With some, like, coaxing from there. Two other guys that. Well, there's that, but no, the two other guys. The two other people. So there's the other people, but they don't exist because they don't even have names. Two of the other guys. Two of the other people are like. Like, you know, like, come on. Yeah, come on, call us. Go. Let's do something different. Yep. We've been working with Otis for just killing people for the last couple months.
Speaker D: Standing by the list. You guys been.
Speaker B: Like, yep, we've been around Grim Waters hunting down.
Speaker D: Hunting down the deserters.
Speaker B: But.
Speaker D: Building something sounds better than tearing down.
Speaker B: So, yeah, with your. With your 12, that's not enough to convince the others that you have. And you guys have five more people. And these guys will actually be like, toughs.
Speaker D: They can help with security or whatever they want.
Speaker B: You want to do that. So you got five tough followers figuring out what's needed. Yeah.
Speaker D: Jaques would definitely be like, sign up for an account.
Speaker C: Maybe later to the mine.
Speaker A: Which in this case is a good thing. Just like send them to the mines.
Speaker D: Round up the horses and gun.
Speaker B: And so how do you. I guess these guys converted. How do you treat them?
Speaker D: Be a little bit where I just watch them, but it wouldn't be like normal.
Speaker B: So the way you like them have.
Speaker D: Their guns and stuff, I'd give them their six shooters. Or if they had them, be like, yeah, they.
Speaker B: Everyone like. So that's kind of like a pocket knife, like Everyone has a pocket knife in a six shooter.
Speaker D: But then, like, this world for me, Jock would know that he's better. Like, it's kind of like I'm this skill level. I could probably take these people.
Speaker B: Yeah. Oh, and they probably have a sense of that too after.
Speaker D: And it's kind of arrogant. Like, I'm better.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: Audrey looks.
Speaker A: I would actually. When he hands back the guns, I would ride around in my. Get on my horse right around for no sake. He gave you your life and then treated you with dignity. Just remember that as you go forward.
Speaker D: And we have skeletons with us right now.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: Otherwise it could be like that.
Speaker B: And like, Ollie, like, while you guys were talking, like, she was like, like shoving the bodies and stuff, like into the woods and like skeletons dragging them.
Speaker C: Out by the ankle.
Speaker B: Just dragging the bodies into the woods and whatnot. That would be sobering to watch. And then she, like, then she. I guess she goes and like asks you Jock, if you care if she gets skeletons out of these other bodies.
Speaker D: Sends up the do doc.
Speaker A: I just sigh and just bring my horse away.
Speaker C: Meanwhile, Audrey runs over because he wants.
Speaker D: To see how, like, just don't let certain people see you with them. They will not be kind of.
Speaker A: I just say, ollie, I like you, but yeah, townsfolk may not take you kindly out.
Speaker D: So that's like, no Skylax comes inside the walls.
Speaker B: He's like, fair enough.
Speaker A: We'll probably have to figure out how to deal with our relationship with the weird and the magic.
Speaker B: It's like, if it's gonna be too much bother, then we can just not. That's fine.
Speaker A: So I guess it's not so much the bother, it's just that what kind of culture of town are we going to run? And it's going to be. Have to learn to be comfortable with the weird because we're going to bring a lot of it down and it's always going to have to be outside the walls or are we going to have to have a little bit of a marriage that's got to be in.
Speaker D: The walls as well.
Speaker B: Are you gonna send them to the. The mines? If you. If we take me down there when.
Speaker A: You have to place some there. There's some critters in there. There's that be really handy for clearing those.
Speaker B: They make good, tireless, mindless workers.
Speaker A: That makes a lot of sense.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: Mindful.
Speaker A: I was like, I can't believe I just said that out loud.
Speaker B: She chuckled. I see you're coming around.
Speaker A: Shake my head. It's only because I like you. Only I'm beginning to like you guys. Only good enough promise, though, to show you some sights.
Speaker B: I look forward to it. It's been a fun ride so far.
Speaker D: Instead of getting them jumped and jumping people. All we've done with her.
Speaker A: Look, we might be the last group you see sights with too. Who knows?
Speaker B: She would laugh. Chuckles up to. Yeah. Had a long life and ends at some point.
Speaker A: Just promise me that if I get taken out, don't raise me as a. As one of your playthings. I guess. I guess if you had to save yourself to do it, I might be somewhat okay with it. And then he just goes, if you're.
Speaker B: Dead, you probably won't mind because you won't know. I will not use your body for a worker.
Speaker A: Well, that's nice.
Speaker C: Are they maintaining any of their skills when they're raised?
Speaker B: They're.
Speaker A: No, I just. With a bedside manager.
Speaker B: You guys have, like, clockworks. I guess they're like, minor. They're just kind of think of it like it's just a. A machine. It just does what it's told. It doesn't. It doesn't think. I don't. I don't do that stuff. That's. That's gets dangerous.
Speaker A: The ones that she's raped, are they like, preserved or are they like.
Speaker B: No, they're. They're just literally skeletons. Like the bones, like, ripped out of the bodies. I guess they're. They're less bloody now because it's raining or drizzling, but they are like. It's like. I mean, like you think of like a chicken bone or something. Like you like. Yeah. And you peel all the meat off of it.
Speaker A: I can remember she raised the whole body of. Just kill these.
Speaker B: No, she just ripped this body out of the body for sure.
Speaker A: That would speak. Can you imagine? Like, one of your buddies just got shot and then it's just like.
Speaker B: Yeah, gross.
Speaker A: That would be demoralizing.
Speaker C: Put the meat suit in the forest.
Speaker B: Yeah, that's easier to carry. That's what she's. That's what she'd had the skeletons been doing or just like, moving the bottom sleeping bag.
Speaker A: Just throw it.
Speaker D: He's so nasty.
Speaker C: Sorry. As a warning.
Speaker A: What are those flags? Yeah.
Speaker B: Oh, so you couldn't do this.
Speaker A: Would you say I did that to myself?
Speaker D: Having home, meaning a bedroom.
Speaker A: I would ask those guys. Nothing you need to say now. But he would ask for their names and then, like, shake their hands. Welcome aboard.
Speaker B: Let's go. Head back.
Speaker D: With horses and guns and people. They're like, hey, we found something. Your sister send a message to their head.
Speaker A: Yeah, that's true. That should probably be standard practice. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker B: Say. Yeah, I think that may be something.
Speaker D: She's just the greener. And then it's like.
Speaker A: Oh, that's kind of what I mentioned. Like you need to be okay with us checking that you're actually honest with what you're saying.
Speaker D: Oh yeah. No. Doc would watch for that stuff. But he would treat him like normal.
Speaker B: Yeah. Always just wary.
Speaker C: Audrey is.
Speaker B: I say too. I think during like in combat she would have dropped like her. Her illusion. So she would have been like the skeleton in a duster with a cowboy hat on. Like just.
Speaker A: Let me show you how much you.
Speaker B: Were out of your league coming out of the woods and just like speaks this language that you get. Like you. You guys are a little. Are getting like a little more used to what she's saying. But those guys have nothing but Buddy's like exploding spy skeletons. Stand up. But she put her costume back on.
Speaker C: You see where we're at? We're about what, day and a half from the mine.
Speaker D: Yeah. I think something.
Speaker B: No, because you guys only wrote out like a mile or two from town. So you're like you're. You're roughly, you're about a day from.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker D: Yeah. The miners are like.
Speaker B: It's like midday.
Speaker C: I was thinking if I took Ollie and the skeletons to the mine so she could check that out. And honestly Audrey's kind of.
Speaker A: Guess she needs a place to hold up for now.
Speaker B: Yeah. Well, she'll be able to hold that hold up.
Speaker C: But I'm also wondering if the worms can be necrotized.
Speaker A: Oh, the centipedes.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker A: That would be crazy. The big one.
Speaker D: A big one in the water.
Speaker A: That would be crazy. So center skeletons. I wonder if she can raise non human.
Speaker C: But that would be. So Audrey's thinking of taking Ollie to the mine while you guys go back to Gray's Landing.
Speaker D: And that'd work and adjust. And I'm fine with doing downtime for a while too.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: Because.
Speaker A: Yeah, we need to. Yeah.
Speaker B: And also just like the calendar wise, you guys are like three weeks ending from new year, which is just gonna be like a big. It's like a week long celebration except for Sabbath.
Speaker A: That's a good time.
Speaker D: Yep.
Speaker B: Too. So you guys are like three weeks. Two. Three weeks from. From that and the new year goals around.
Speaker C: Aubrey might just spend the two weeks, come back to Braves Landing for the festival and just train at the mine because he needs all the way for the.
Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
Speaker D: No I'm fine. Do downtime for like a month. We don't have anything pressing.
Speaker C: Well, unless Emil tries to retake.
Speaker D: Yeah. Well, that's why we need to probably stay too.
Speaker A: What the council wants to do and.
Speaker D: Fortifications and then see if a meal shows up with a force or sends people.
Speaker A: I would mention to you like we should mention to the council about maybe having. Since we're around. Celebration time is making one of the days like a liberation day for the city that they celebrate every year.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker C: Is it just a day?
Speaker D: It's a week.
Speaker C: No, no, it's a month.
Speaker B: There. Yeah. That is like. Here we get all. Like some of the notes I wrote down. So you guys can also add more to it if you want.
Speaker A: They make a scarecrow and then they.
Speaker B: Throw it in the.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: In the lake. That's the best part of the celebration. Yeah.
Speaker B: That's.
Speaker A: Kids don't always have to know why. But they're gonna be super excited about Braves Day or.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: Liberation Day for that. Oops.
Speaker A: I like brave data.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker C: Burning scarecrow.
Speaker D: Could be.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: Not a full reenactment, but no.
Speaker B: All right.
Speaker D: Brave day BR1 ever.
Speaker B: No, it's. It can be on the 12th because that's the one that have 912 for.
Speaker C: Your freedom in the new year.
Speaker A: I didn't get a statue in you shock.
Speaker B: So you had what Scarecrow and Frank. Frank Crow thrown into the.
Speaker D: Yeah, they throw them in the river. That's fitting for whatever reason.
Speaker A: Maybe it throws going body stuffed with strawberry. Also with paper.
Speaker D: With people.
Speaker A: They want to let something go.
Speaker D: There you go.
Speaker A: Change their life. They stuff the scarecrow full of papers. Nobody sees what's on them. Fireworks and fireworks. Oh, it has to be fireworks.
Speaker C: So the body goes down and you watch it all burn away.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: Kind of cathartic.
Speaker A: Yeah. The way you can watch your thing burn. Whatever it is. You put stuff in the body. A little morbid.
Speaker C: Well, once we get it on a boat with a pyre. Like a Viking funeral.
Speaker B: There you go.
Speaker D: This keeps explaining.
Speaker C: Well as you got more worries to get rid of.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: They have to have the reenactment of the. The town guard. Like taking the stuffed body down to the docks.
Speaker D: Yeah. It always takes it chucking it in.
Speaker A: But I do like the lighting of the fire instead of sinking in just so people can watch their stuff burn.
Speaker B: Yeah. You burn it on the river.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: Yeah. That river is like flies.
Speaker C: Incorrect. My flaming arrow.
Speaker D: Any dragon breath. And you shoot it with a gun.
Speaker C: Some of that moonshine.
Speaker B: There we go.
Speaker D: I suppose we still have like 12 months old. That's just cash.
Speaker C: Post bits all over the place.
Speaker A: A bad day if you roll sneakers.
Speaker C: We just call him Stubby.
Speaker D: Yes, I think I'll be able to.
Speaker A: Call him because he's usually carrying more than one stick.
Speaker D: I got the bandolier. His red mist is nasty.
Speaker A: Reanimate this. Get a can of cash. Have a cash for dinner.
Speaker B: Yeah. So New Year's is the first week of the new year and it's feasting, mud wrestling, gift exchanging, singing and dances, log burn for the week, games and mud ball fights. Oh, no rocks.
Speaker D: Yeah, no rocks allowed.
Speaker A: Oh, no.
Speaker C: If that much made out of sand, it would just be dirt clot, considering how much it rains.
Speaker D: Always mine.
Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. So I guess while. When Ollie goes to raise a skeleton and you run over, she's like, why don't you give it a go? And she will start telling you the words and the motion. So if you want to roll, it'll be a demanding. So you'll need a 13 plus.
Speaker A: You're saying that and I just walked in. Trot a little farther away at my horse.
Speaker D: I don't notice. I'm getting the guys and horses all rounded up.
Speaker A: Yeah, I don't want that to go. Orion, fire my direction.
Speaker D: We have like 12 buffalo guns now or something.
Speaker B: No, they. There's only like four. Oh, yeah.
Speaker A: It was just that first group.
Speaker B: That group of them.
Speaker D: Yeah, four of them was. That's a lot, though.
Speaker B: And then they all had. And then the rest of them were armed with repeating.
Speaker D: Right? Yes. I would be getting all that time on the extra horses.
Speaker B: That's good. Okay.
Speaker A: Plus I can make my downtime. I'll make a bunch of that oil for the town for.
Speaker B: Yeah. You go through the motions and then always. And then, like, as you like, complete the spell, you realize it's not. It wasn't complete. It.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: It wasn't 100. Correct. And Ollie's just like close. More practice. You'll get it. But then she goes through and does the same thing. And then.
Speaker D: That's pretty nice.
Speaker B: So It's. There was 12. You kept five. Right. So there's seven skeletons. Oh, whatever.
Speaker D: She kept.
Speaker B: Well, no, the. The.
Speaker D: Oh, yeah.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: I would ask Ollie, like, how long can you keep the skeletons like this?
Speaker B: Oh, she's. She goes. They're just imbued with enough energy to keep them moving and then follow her by purple commands.
Speaker A: How far away can you be from.
Speaker B: They're just there. Don't need any range. So like, if.
Speaker A: If they were at the mine, you could like run around. Would they still be able to keep doing their thing?
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: And they wouldn't be taxing on you.
Speaker B: So like no interesting like I mean and then I'll need to. Well we would need to. We'd want a supervisor down there because they're. They are stupid. Right. Tell them to pick like if you want if we told them to like go like hit that wall they'll just keep hitting the wall until turned out.
Speaker A: They dug to the other side of the world.
Speaker B: Yeah they'll just keep digging big tunnel like this they'll just do that straight until something new is told them to do. They'll find someone that runs 24 7.
Speaker D: Yeah buddy.
Speaker B: So it's like you'll want a foreman of some kind.
Speaker D: Yeah yeah.
Speaker B: Keep an eye on us.
Speaker D: We have to get our own trains. Hope everyone we kill we just send skeletons. Having this train full of skeleton.
Speaker B: I.
Speaker D: Have to take over a train line.
Speaker A: The good thing about it being skeletons is you actually can't recognize them that they were somebody you cared about you.
Speaker D: No.
Speaker C: That one must broke his arm in the past.
Speaker A: I don't think they're doing dental records this time period.
Speaker C: That one's got gold teeth.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: Let me take those. He doesn't need them.
Speaker B: Yeah I probably would. Well.
Speaker D: Back to Braves Landing.
Speaker B: Yep.
Speaker A: Watch a negotiate with the council on what the weird's going to look like here. I think you're that's I have an agreement with you that it's going to.
Speaker B: Have to be inside the wall.
Speaker A: Yeah Otherwise it's not going to be our kind of city other the people we're.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: We don't want to like draw attention to us from the outside but we need the people to be okay with it.
Speaker C: Those skulls and farmers Got it.
Speaker D: Not yet.
Speaker C: Yeah Audrey plan on skirting landing to go to the mind okay.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: Shake your hand before you go.
Speaker B: Travel safe. Yeah.
Speaker C: You got any extra rations?
Speaker A: Yeah, I'll be probably good but I'd be like don't see something strange at the mine. Little blood suckers.
Speaker B: Strange.
Speaker A: Small footprints.
Speaker C: I'm better.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: Or if the critters have taken over.
Speaker C: I'll give you a call. I know they think you tasty.
Speaker A: Yeah just oh they came down. Don't get yourself into or trouble the.
Speaker B: The critters did it or the tunnels. The tunnel. The tunnel we had.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: I come out into the. The little fort that's there.
Speaker D: You're trying to scout things to shoot.
Speaker C: That's where the baby vampire slept.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: But yeah Audrey would just kind of go into secluded training.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker C: Because he's got that great big book.
Speaker D: Salt.
Speaker C: Probably not a good idea to do that in grays.
Speaker D: Yeah that makes sense.
Speaker B: Yeah. So to get there I guess because that's probably by the time you guys are all done it's around by around 2pm ish. So you could get halfway before A little more than halfway before it got dark. Unless you want to ride through the night. Get there whenever. Probably.
Speaker C: Considering the craziness of the day. Probably would end up camping up. We've got enough skeletons for security. I'll ward off a few things or at least.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: Watch when you came on.
Speaker C: Oh even if they're just there.
Speaker D: Yep.
Speaker C: Tell him to be like come go for it.
Speaker B: So they probably wouldn't just attack the skeleton bolts. Yeah.
Speaker C: But you're in firelight.
Speaker B: Yeah. So on. I guess we'll have.
Speaker C: Bandits would definitely second.
Speaker D: What the heck.
Speaker B: Yeah we'll do. We'll do a make camp. You are following mine. This would be a mind role.
Speaker C: Okay.
Speaker B: What's an applicable career you have on.
Speaker C: Ray would probably work for that.
Speaker B: Yeah. I'd be fine with that. 8. So the RP and then now you need to stay sharp. So same roll again.
Speaker C: Base is 11. So.
Speaker B: All right.
Speaker C: 14.
Speaker B: Okay. I'll say. While you're making camp, you do hear brush lane like on the edges of the firelight you like catch the glimpse of several cemetery walls creeping around the edge of the perimeter. So they're like an overgrown coyote. They're like careless nose protruding teeth. Their forepaws or whatever are kind of like extra long and more dexterous. More like heavily muscled. But they're, you know they're generally like caron eaters and very smart and there is a bounty on them in.
Speaker A: Any.
Speaker B: Green water always probably a week.
Speaker C: So I pointed them out.
Speaker B: So that.
Speaker C: You know what they look like.
Speaker D: And.
Speaker C: For now they're staying out so we should be fine. But if they get too close.
Speaker B: I. I said nice. No they're. I said they are a danger that you're going to need to deal with the fact that you see them kind of like circling around. Okay. They're kind of like probing to see what kind of reaction as they creep closer do.
Speaker C: How do they react to Anlin.
Speaker B: I would say you. I don't think we have any idea.
Speaker C: I was thinking lore wise but yeah.
Speaker B: Otherwise. So these may be. These probably actually would be creatures that used to be like coyote wolves but got mutated. Twisted. Yeah. Or mutated by the weird. But yeah. As you see like the couple on one Side you hear rushing light coming up behind you. So once you and Ollie give me priority roll.
Speaker D: No.
Speaker C: Other stats.
Speaker B: I want her. Yeah, she would have. Or anything like that.
Speaker C: Audrey got an 11.
Speaker B: Okay. Yeah. So you get to. I think. Yeah. So you guys. You both still act first. Yep. You see, rushing out like that was undergrowth coming through. Most of them are, like, focusing on the skeletons. But there are a few coming at you. You see about 15.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker C: Yeah, I get comment. I'll shoot at the closest one coming in.
Speaker B: All right. All right.
Speaker A: Give him the read, by the way.
Speaker B: Oh, the Hearthstone.
Speaker A: Yeah. Okay, son, you're coming back. I'll give you the ring. And I said it. I activate it and just set it.
Speaker C: In a. I'm back in the basement.
Speaker A: Just so you are able to come back when you want to and not have to do a day's travel.
Speaker B: Sorry. 11. Yep. That hits. You just need a nine or better D6.
Speaker C: And I roll triple threes. So three points.
Speaker B: Yep. That one burst the flame and hits the dirt.
Speaker C: And then Ollie would do an eldritch last. So does that fall under the necromancy?
Speaker B: It's just her mine plus range. So it's plus four. Wow.
Speaker C: So that would be 10.
Speaker B: 15.
Speaker C: For six.
Speaker B: Smokes. Another one.
Speaker A: That's got to be demoralizing for the pack. Just the music playing in your head while you're there. Make this smaller.
Speaker B: I need double shots for the skeletons. Give me just. Just a flat roll. Seven. Oh. All right. So scroll, I guess. Four. Four eats my snake eyes.
Speaker C: Pair of twos.
Speaker B: All right, so just roll a D6 for. Damn.
Speaker A: Just watching this fight. It's like the most clutchy fight.
Speaker B: All right, so the. Let's see. Yeah. So the. The skeleton and wolves. Some of them are clashing. When the wolf dies. Yeah, when the wolf dies. Let's see if. Since the other packs is a 10 to hit you actually. I guess. What's your defense? Just one or two?
Speaker C: My defense is two.
Speaker B: All right, so it's 11. So now, see, you know, Ollie says three and Ollie. Yep. So you guys both dodge the attack. See? Is there enough? Again. Oh, that didn't.
Speaker C: That's just the base. So.
Speaker B: Yep, that hits. Yeah. That's all you sneak night or better.
Speaker C: Four damage.
Speaker B: Yep. Another one.
Speaker C: Seven for Ollie's potish blast to hit.
Speaker B: Yeah. Goes wanted. Skeletons again. See? Flat balls. Four. All right. They got a five or three damage. So one of the skeletons breaks down at the same time.
Speaker C: Thinking about. If I'm doing math, battles like this.
Speaker B: What color? All right. The the ones that are attacking all are attacking you. Ollie and Audrey, they both those packs, those collections miss.
Speaker C: They're all color coded for quick grabbing from the bag. So I got blind some greens.
Speaker D: We need more.
Speaker C: That'll speed the process. So we do orange for always attack. Green for always attack.
Speaker B: All right, you guys are back up.
Speaker C: Two more different color. Then we'll have damage to. If we manage to connect.
Speaker B: Purple. That'll work.
Speaker C: That's now the flask.
Speaker D: There it is.
Speaker C: Okay.
Speaker B: Audrey missed. Okay. Plus four. So 10 that hits.
Speaker C: So she hits. But double ones for the eldritch blast.
Speaker B: So two damage.
Speaker C: Well, it's 60 high, so.
Speaker B: Oh yeah. Yeah. Wounds one, no kills. And then I guess the scout ends. Four. Four. These guys roll 80. Let's talk about that by pre damp engine. Another skeleton falls down. No, no hits on you guys. So back to you guys.
Speaker C: Eight for Audrey.
Speaker B: Let's do this.
Speaker C: Double sixes.
Speaker D: For.
Speaker C: For Ollie.
Speaker B: Ollie, Ollie. So yeah, roll Ollie's damage. Use Ravel Slayer.
Speaker D: Yeah, Ravel slave.
Speaker B: Four. Four. Yeah. So. So she like start like put extra openings and shot four Eldritch blasted and dusted for more. And they. You run off on their turn. So the rest they split. Half their pact is decimating or. So the.
Speaker C: The collection for the bounty on this is it just like an ear or like their tail?
Speaker B: Whatever. Yeah.
Speaker C: I asked Ollie first. It's like, can we do the skeletons from the prequels? Do.
Speaker B: We could, but I don't. I guess they can pull things. They're not like super big. They're like large dogs.
Speaker C: Well, I was just thinking as far as guard dogs.
Speaker B: Guard dogs.
Speaker C: Where we're going, I kind of explain what we're. We're dealing with at the mine.
Speaker B: Could they be helpful? Yeah, at least. I mean, they'd be useful for attacking. They could attack, I guess so you can see they're not super durable, but they do some damage. You can do some damage.
Speaker C: So that I would consider that. Because I'll probably need the tail for balance. So if we can use them for cleaning out the mine, then it's worth passing on the bounty.
Speaker B: They wouldn't need their tail for balance or anything. It's pretty much like a dog's tail.
Speaker C: Okay, well, if they're used to it. But of course they're just bones, so it doesn't matter if they're.
Speaker B: Yeah, I was gonna say they have. She's like they don't have any intelligence. They're basically like automatons or golems. They're not super intelligent.
Speaker C: They have their Job. Yeah.
Speaker B: That's.
Speaker C: How the skeletons help me pull them all together into one when location.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: And she does. She's like, oh, do you want to try your hand at raising this couple skeletons that got broken?
Speaker C: Yeah, give that a shot. Can I do that with advantage?
Speaker B: With the third Advantage from what?
Speaker C: Because she's there to make kind of.
Speaker B: Teaching or I lower the difficulty to 11. Okay. Since you've gone through it once already.
Speaker A: So.
Speaker C: 12, 13, 14.
Speaker B: Yeah. Yep. If you finish the spell she likes claps you on the back. But it's like, there you go, you're getting it. Make a necrot of you. Necromancer out of you. Yeah.
Speaker C: All skills serve a purpose.
Speaker B: And then she's like, well, you want to try your hand at a. Whatever these things are. This will be at 13. Okay.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker B: That's crazy. If I get like, close. Not quite there.
Speaker C: How many RP points is it spent to up about one.
Speaker B: So two to one. Two to one. Yes. You spent two to go. It's only one point.
Speaker C: I'll spend two RP points to get that victory.
Speaker B: Yep. So, yeah, so you raise up one of the cemetery wolves. Oh, she's like, oh, there you go. Now you got yourself a couple skeletons and a cemetery wolf to order around. And then she goes into. And like her. Her words at her. Her emotions and words she uses are a little different. And then you kind of like get the gist because it's like this is like a mass version instead of an individual, actually. I guess so you have a skeleton and a. That you can tell to do things. Yeah. And then. Yeah. So she cast the full. Like the master, like a stronger version. And all the. The other seven explode out. And now it is like seven Wolverine.
Speaker D: Dodge for the mind.
Speaker C: Well, I'm curious to see how they'll do for attacking.
Speaker B: So just like they're rabble and they have 3 GP to each, just so you know. So there's.
Speaker C: So you've got seven skeletons total.
Speaker B: Yep. Seven skeletons. And you get one.
Speaker C: So you've got six. I've got one of them.
Speaker B: Yep.
Speaker C: For seven. And then seven total rules or eight total.
Speaker B: Eight rules.
Speaker C: What time of night morning is this?
Speaker B: I'll say you guys rode like an hour or two into night, so it'd be like eight or nine, like nine, ten o' clock before you actually stop to make camp. And that's. So it's not like you'll be able to get a night's rest.
Speaker C: Okay, well, I was thinking if they have a tap close to the witching Hour. So early morning hours. Then we probably just break camp and. And head.
Speaker B: It's early night. Okay. Much fresh. Fresh meat.
Speaker C: Well, then that has me a little. I have the skeleton. Toss the bodies far enough away from camp that.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: If the wolves come back.
Speaker B: Yeah. They drag all the.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker B: Move your camp. You everywhere. Move camp. Ride for ride in mile and further away. Okay. Yeah. That night will pass without issue. All right, you guys, when you get back to town, what do you want to do? Bring this.
Speaker D: When we get greeted by.
Speaker C: Probably one of your.
Speaker B: One of the previous enforcers would have been like keeping watch at the gate. And they might have like, either like, sounded like a horn or like it's different.
Speaker D: Oh.
Speaker B: Like a dinner. Like. Like a triangle. Maybe that's just something that. That always happens there.
Speaker C: Also skeletons king.
Speaker D: Shot down.
Speaker A: Because Just a couple of gunners.
Speaker B: Yeah. There'd just be like two people at the gate.
Speaker A: I would actually get down from my horse and go to like, shake their hands, get their names. It's kind of like this is new, you know?
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: And you're like, how's your first watch in the new town?
Speaker D: You know, like.
Speaker B: Doing the doc thing.
Speaker A: Of mixing a little bit.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: Dude, you would have met.
Speaker A: I don't have to get your names from.
Speaker B: Oh, it's Vincent. People just call me shadow. He's like 6, 3. He's an old guy. He's like. He won't be that old. He'll be in his 30s. He was 67. But that little old guy, it might be in this.
Speaker A: He could have been a little weird tattoo.
Speaker C: People might live to 140.
Speaker B: Yep. Yeah. So Shadow agreed to Latino, brown, brown eyes, some braided ponytail. It's like amethyst color. Because the weird. He does give you like an impression of it. Like, he could be savage when he needs to. And the other person is a lady, younger, like early 20s, African, sky blue eyes. So her eyes really pop out of her face. Gilbert. Yeah.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker D: That's broken.
Speaker A: What's her name?
Speaker B: Catherine.
Speaker D: Ask if the council generous. They're out doing their thing.
Speaker B: They'd probably actually. They would probably be. Yeah, they'd probably be. I mean, you could.
Speaker D: I'd go find something.
Speaker B: Go find one of them. Ramsey's would probably. Yeah. And probably since you guys like, this is all new, they'd probably be discussing some changes and whatnot. Or she'd be in the forge.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker C: Here's a forager. Frank's house that just became the new council chamber.
Speaker A: I should mention the house has a new safe in it. Move the Safe from one house to the other. So he's gonna have to haul it back or just leave it in the living room or wherever it is that we left it. It's in the basement. In the basement. That's okay.
Speaker D: It's like, in the middle of the room. All the places.
Speaker A: That you wouldn't want to, like, port that into a place where it had a weak floor.
Speaker C: Four and five out of town.
Speaker A: Thank you.
Speaker D: Yeah, no, I'm checking with you.
Speaker A: And then I see my sister. I give her a hug and get.
Speaker D: A council meeting about these new people. They can talk to them. Sort d.
Speaker C: Sure.
Speaker B: Yeah. I need to enter. Head there and discussing, I guess. Just discussing. I guess.
Speaker D: There'S a line. Just wait.
Speaker B: There wouldn't be a line because, I mean, this is farming community. So, like, everybody's, like, working and fields still need tendon. Yeah. So most people are there. It's just. Just deciding on, like. Like, for, like, honestly, like, taxes and like, any kind of, like, particular rules they should have and that, like, that kind of stuff. But for the most part, I'd say it was probably, like, Happy is kind of in charge of, like, that stuff and just get approval from the rest of the council, kind of. He's like the senior manager or whatever. So, yeah, you'd get. You'd get an audience of them pretty quick and then roll over, be there.
Speaker D: Picked up new people on the road, throw them in. Be like, oh, they're former. This we had to deal.
Speaker C: With. But Ramsay's no. Sable and Z. Yeah.
Speaker B: Her being in the.
Speaker D: And definitely being a pel.
Speaker B: Rider.
Speaker D: Pel Riders would know about it.
Speaker C: Well, I'm just thinking they're spread out all over the place. It might be only if you serve the pel Riders in that general vicinity because you'd have a lot of dealings.
Speaker D: And, like, say, won't see you doubt they do kind of fight the church with her, like, relics. Some probably ran into all over. No, got him.
Speaker C: So you seek redemption.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: Sort them out.
Speaker B: Yeah. So, yeah, Ramses, I guess, like, I don't know if you would tell them. Who would have shared, like, more of your plan while you were writing back in time. Okay. Yeah. So then Ramses would just basically, like, say, this is what's expected of you.
Speaker D: If doc sister would probe their head. I think jocks had it once. He doesn't know.
Speaker B: And then, yeah, Rolla would just be, like, off to the side probably just, like, probing and listening to their brains as they're talking. And she, like, just gives, like, a nod.
Speaker D: Mention we have all these new guns and horses for your chair.
Speaker A: I mentioned to you to the side. Like, did they track you here?
Speaker D: Probably.
Speaker A: Are they going to be able to track them here?
Speaker D: Probably. Yeah.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker B: Guess.
Speaker A: Do you mind if I talk to my sister about that?
Speaker D: Oh, yeah, I'd fill them in.
Speaker A: It's like we need to figure out if there's something we can sever between Ollie and my sister and Ramses. Maybe they can figure out if there's a way to cut that. But before we cut it, be like maybe get you in the five or however many. How many get signed of the.
Speaker B: Yeah, right.
Speaker A: Yeah. To have you guys like ride out some in some direction and se it and then go back.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: If we figure it out.
Speaker C: Pick a boat out in middle of the ocean.
Speaker A: Yeah. So they don't think that guys are actively embraced.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: Yeah. So they would probably get assignment, maybe some jobs or just.
Speaker D: Expand the city, keep bringing people in.
Speaker B: They'll say you got like 20 new people in like two days.
Speaker D: Yeah. Building houses would probably not say.
Speaker B: That may be like the job that they're given. It's like building home.
Speaker D: You got to build your house now.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: Three pregnant ladies.
Speaker A: One of them is about to.
Speaker B: I said they're all. They're all put up in Frank's house. Frank's former house. Because. Yeah, I was going to say the flop house would probably be about capacity now. Yeah. So, yeah, they'd be given.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: Jobs that build homes. Build their homes and the flop as well. Or go work at the ranch.
Speaker D: Yep.
Speaker A: Like the crappiest houses, nails ever.
Speaker C: So you need a cut, straight line. Okay.
Speaker A: There's like nail points inside everywhere.
Speaker C: That's for hanging stuff. Best way to hang a hammock is have something one way to do it.
Speaker B: Right.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: Yeah. So they'd get squared away then probably.
Speaker D: Just wait for Andre to come back and chill.
Speaker B: He's gonna be down there like what, two weeks? Oh, yeah. Yeah. So something like that. Yeah, that's what I was gonna say. Unless you have like some stuff that you. Some mission or something you want to go. Do you do downtime?
Speaker C: You got to sort out the weird of Ray's landing.
Speaker B: Yep.
Speaker D: No. Then probably during downtime, it would be at one point just talk to the council about the SA one. See now and little weird.
Speaker C: Weird is weird.
Speaker B: Yeah. That could be something.
Speaker D: Yeah. And a meal. We'll probably see something maybe.
Speaker B: No. Yeah. So downtime. Yes. We can do each person and what you want to call, I guess. How much downtime do you guys want to take Because Right. So basically you can either spend XP or work on a project. So like you want to do multiple like projects for the best like week. That'll be multiple people. So stay like a month and then like XP is part of. Would be like a week of training. Okay. Kind of like would eat like oh as well if you wanted to level up stuff. Do one or the other essentially. I have that too. No, I meant to ask them to see how you might be able to sprint those.
Speaker D: By bending a month or so figure out between or longer if they have to. They don't have anything to impress.
Speaker B: Yeah. I'll print the advancement. Yeah. You can spend XP to increase your credit rating on a 1.1. No, I'll participate.
Speaker C: Charts and table.
Speaker B: Thing the XP part and then if you want to do projects we can discuss that. It will assign difficulty. You may end up in needing to spend more than a week on each project depending on how many points you.
Speaker D: Have got nine xp.
Speaker B: You guys are gonna level. Let's just do that first and then we'll do projects.
Speaker D: Yep. It's chapter seven between adventures.
Speaker B: I don't have.
Speaker D: Oh, 90.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: 90.
Speaker B: Oh, I can.
Speaker C: Can you improve more than one thing in a shop when you're spending XP?
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker B: Yeah. So it's basically you're either leveling or you're doing downtime projects per week is how I'm just going to. Okay. Deal it. So yeah, if you want to like up your multiple careers. Yeah. You can do all that stuff.
Speaker C: So I'm looking at upping my mind to 3, which would be 5 XP.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: And then upping the the sorcery to 4 which takes out my 9 XP. And then as a project studying with. With Ollie And I've got that cult book.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: My.
Speaker B: That bumps your sorcery to one or whatever it was.
Speaker C: Yeah.
Speaker B: Yeah. And then also if you have any RP you want to convert to xp, do that too and just burn all your burn that the rate 10 to 1 if I remember right.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: And you can also buy new boons and get rid of flaws. Spend an XP to increase your credit rating.
Speaker A: One xp.
Speaker B: Yeah. For one. For one. Split it. Attributes and combat abilities are expensive. Careers aren't too bad. Careers are getting sank. Yeah. And your careers do cap out at 5. Unless you have a boon that says it can go to six and you can train new careers. The first level would be one xp. And then if you want a new boon I have the book so you can look at. Yeah. Because there are some of those are really strong Is there a back suburb I don't think so if I convert.
Speaker D: All my RPM.
Speaker A: I have both right.
Speaker D: Now I never spent RP I'm 35.
Speaker B: Years late I'll see if there's any I know this has some yeah I don't think they're.
Speaker D: I'm not gonna spend the increase on it.
Speaker B: I guess there are actually some good booms in here too yeah I will probably do that next.
Speaker C: Max out my sorcery capability spend the Rex exp get some mind and put my range because I said that way more than I thought it would.
Speaker B: Index if you write over it with another with a mark with the marker again yeah just right draw just scribble on it with a marker and a moisten it up again to let you straighten it off it.
Speaker C: Just didn't spend.
Speaker B: The fast method become permanent yeah green.
Speaker C: So I'm figuring any wounds that we had on that last battle travel and.
Speaker B: Whatnot oh yeah you guys should yeah you're all four it would be full he loves the end of the city regardless.
Speaker C: It.
Speaker D: Saunders are just two Yep.
Speaker C: Next time yes Peter's for buildings.
Speaker B: Yeah as long as it's makes sense Makes sense yeah for the stuff you've been through and if you have questions just.
Speaker A: Ask it's actually I'm going back through the stuff I've done Sure I did.
Speaker B: Yeah I'm going to take dead eyeball.
Speaker D: Shot through one range increment lower.
Speaker B: Yeah have to make sense especially after your.
Speaker C: Rabble removal techniques Wagon1.
Speaker B: That'S amazing I.
Speaker A: Take deaf hands just because of my doctor stuff.
Speaker B: Yeah Audrey ready for projects you have more than like how many do you have that you want to try or do you just well the book's the big one.
Speaker C: Yeah and training with that and then probably trying to see if I can fix my eyesight if that's even possible that'd be almost a research and then the the cool inky hand that I've got.
Speaker B: So if so yeah I say that the book reading the book to bump your thing we'll say that's a legendary project so that'd be the four downtime points which I think I think is your sorcery career would apply to that so that would give you four points so you could do that in one week. Okay we just have to do we'll do the goal so I guess we could do that one first if you want removing your like fixing your ink hand I'd say that's that would probably be uncommon and then your eyesight thing that will probably also be a legendary. I think. Yeah. So yeah. If you want to do all three of those that would be three weeks. Three more weeks. Assuming you make controls on all of them.
Speaker C: Yeah. As far as the priority it would be the books first and then the thing. Because I'm still functional.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: I mean I got the glasses. I just know I need to go back to Bra Landing before New Year's.
Speaker B: Yeah, that's. I'm going double check the calendar which I think it's.
Speaker C: The occasional break to show Ollie all the ins and outs.
Speaker B: Of this place that.
Speaker C: That we found so far.
Speaker B: Oh yeah. The.
Speaker C: For the mine this was a stable. We think there's critters in here.
Speaker B: Close the door.
Speaker C: This is the entrance to the main line. There are critters in there. And then the. The offices and.
Speaker B: Can't call it.
Speaker C: Cafeteria lounge.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: Fireplace like.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: And then up on top and the doors that go down there are critters down there. It matches with the mine and I regular with cool stories about baby vampires and how tasty Doc was.
Speaker B: Yeah. So yeah there's like the. Yeah. The front has like that small fort was constructed into the hill. Got like the 20 foot wide iron doors. Guard tower about 20ft up, 25ft off the ground. Like old like rusty weapons and cannonballs up on the lookout tower and the stable. And then essentially like the office area for on duty four minutes and stuff.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker C: There are like three offices along that long wall. The stairs blown up it.
Speaker B: That's right. Yeah. That mess hall or lounge.
Speaker C: Yeah. It didn't really fit one way or the other. There were tables but there wasn't cooking space. But there was a great big fireplace.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: Down at the end.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: We've seen a lot of gold in here. Came before but centipedes are bit problematic.
Speaker B: She would probably like poke her head in there and like looked around. So I'm like in the mind you must like really didn't see really discouraged her. She's like very much like adventurer.
Speaker C: Watch out for the great big pool of water. There's a big one down there.
Speaker B: Yeah. Like when you like open up the door like you do like you can see even see like on the ceiling and stuff. You do see like the faint like flicks flecks of like gold that sparkle in the water something like all the corpses that you guys blew up the.
Speaker C: And that powder burn ring. That was our escape last time.
Speaker B: Lots of fun.
Speaker C: And I point out the one way it's like if you go back there we're pretty sure. That's like a hatchery for the centipedes. Saw a lot of eggs. We didn't go fully back in there. That got a little dangerous quick with all the. The youthful enthusiasm that almost like a little kid showing on.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: This is going to be our secret base.
Speaker D: Eventually.
Speaker B: Yeah. So if you want to I. You spend the. The week this the second week, I guess studying that book. You just give me Sorcerer remind Sorcery. You just need. Let's see, 11 or better. And you have the DP points and your sorcery depth 4. Yeah.
Speaker C: I'm spending a hero point on that one. Double ones. I've lost all my knowledge. Who am I?
Speaker A: The Book of Swords.
Speaker D: You know we're not going into the library again.
Speaker B: No, no, you actually only have one week, so. Yeah, after this week he'll travel back or we're done with you for New Year's. So there's only one week until New Year's.
Speaker C: So I got you double fours on that one. So worth it. So that puts me at 4:15 for the month.
Speaker B: All right.
Speaker C: Minus for three.
Speaker B: I've spent the week studying and then after that you get. You'll be traveling back up. You bringing. Leaving all the skellies or are you guys leaving those there?
Speaker C: Probably weaving them there during that week while I'm studying. We'd probably clean out one of the rooms, probably the stable and just have them stand ready in the dark corner.
Speaker B: Guard themselves. Yeah. So yeah, you would open that and like they have like faint like pale like glowing like green eyes. Like kind of like little orbs that kind of just like so little flyers. Like you open the door, you just see like all these green eyes. What seven and eight, like 15 pairs of glowing. These glowing orbs just tilling back that.
Speaker C: That's a pretty large stable too.
Speaker B: So all the way towards the back.
Speaker C: And kind of hidden to the side. Maybe a simple defend command in case somebody.
Speaker B: Yeah like they'll. Yeah. You can tell them to like defend themselves. What happened?
Speaker C: Pack up. What are those?
Speaker B: Oh yeah. They say to you. So I guess for the second week, this is the. The week before New Year, you have a project you want to work on.
Speaker D: Work on shotgun. If I can do that.
Speaker B: Yeah, let's say that would be.
Speaker A: I want to kind of like story my workshop, my. What do you call it? Your downtime activity into also one of my boons.
Speaker B: I want to do first rate facility.
Speaker D: We need to upgrade the facility.
Speaker A: No, I'm thinking like it's just the new town, you know, Doc's like one, we want to have a good like place where you can do venison or elk. So it'd be like, I want to make a bunch of that gun oil as like my alchemist project, but I want to combine that by doing first trade facility. It's like, hey, we want to do this, but we're gonna have to like bring these supplies here and like make a place to do this to defend the town as like an upgrade to the town. Does that make sense?
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker C: Well, you can't make it over a campfire in the middle of it. Yeah.
Speaker A: And tell them like, I want to be able to make this stuff here and when we come back, we can make more of this gun oil. So if we really have to.
Speaker D: You saw the barber surgeon?
Speaker A: What's that?
Speaker D: You saw the barber surgeon?
Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. You could like upgrade that place if you wanted it.
Speaker A: Yeah. So if it could be like combined between like a doctor place and alchemy.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: And then just. So that would be first rate facility for two points of xp. But then in my downtime is making more of that gun oil.
Speaker B: Okay, well, yeah, so I guess that would be sort of like the way you're describing is kind of like. So if you want to like build the facilities, like that would be a project itself too. And then if you want to make stuff, that would be another how much.
Speaker A: Time it takes and how much time we have.
Speaker B: So you have. So you have a week right now. We'll do one week. And then if you guys want to do stuff during New Year's or just chill out, party for that week and then we'll go on and do workout or as much downtime as you guys want. So yeah, so those. So upgrading the facilities is. Would be uncommon. So that's two points a career. Yeah, two.
Speaker A: And I have three in both medicine and alchemy.
Speaker B: Okay. So yeah, so alchemy. Would you. So you could use that career to cover that and then. Oh, so we'll say that one will take a week. So if you want to give me the role for that, that's just a hard roll, which is a 10 or better.
Speaker A: Plus. So it's just my career or is.
Speaker B: There anything else mine plus career? Okay, that's good.
Speaker D: That's what I.
Speaker A: My billboard. Oh, there's double six. So. So it's 18.
Speaker B: All right. So. So you did get a crit success. Yeah, let's say with a crit success, I'll say you could the. When you went and actually like looked at the barber surgeon's Place you realize it didn't like it wasn't going to take as much time as you thought to like get it upgraded. So you were able to also build your. Build some say your career worth of potions there. The gun oil you wanted to make.
Speaker A: I don't remember how many get made at a time.
Speaker B: It doesn't. Let's see. Let's see. I don't remember. I know this is inventions. That's right. This is would be fall under the inventions thing. Did we say it was uncommon last time? I don't.
Speaker A: The gun oil one I think was. It was the. The 1d3 healing potion that was common.
Speaker B: Yeah. So yeah. Oh that's right. Because it. Because it increased the scale. Yeah. So yeah, I think that was uncommon. Yeah. So you can look at see where that. That's probably an uncommon invention. We made it temporary. So say that's uncommon. So that's two dp. Oh it's three doses on a successful wall. Yeah.
Speaker D: Killing had two or I think I only had three.
Speaker B: So if you combine TF alchemy and what was your other doctor. Yeah that gives those. Gives you six DP if you combine those.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: So you'd spend two to upgrade and then I guess you have four. So if you want to make six dope cents you can and that's just a hard roll. So. So you can do that with a bonus die from your crit success and then your pump shotgun.
Speaker D: I just show Ram. Here's my schematic that I worked on been working on. Why every time we're traveling by train.
Speaker C: Well, the engineers gave you a look over.
Speaker D: Yeah, that's true.
Speaker B: Yeah the rat intelligent rat guy. Okay so yeah. So you'll have six.
Speaker A: Okay.
Speaker B: Gun oils.
Speaker A: I don't know if you want to track brave landing supplies or I can put it on my spreadsheet.
Speaker D: It'd be easier for you because mine would be all handwritten. Might get lost in the book.
Speaker C: You're getting a special tab just for specialty effects.
Speaker D: You're the accountant.
Speaker B: That's right.
Speaker C: You feeling happy?
Speaker A: I already have like five, six tabs now.
Speaker B: Okay. Now this would actually just be an uncommon invention because a hulk shotguns would be somewhat advanced for this area for this time period but not not undo the next.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Facilities have a place for you to.
Speaker B: Work pinch.
Speaker D: Docs or just live at Ramsey's blacksmith.
Speaker A: So I was going to add first rate facilities once they're built give a bonus die towards the activities that happen in it.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: We'll have to build another one itself. To build one some point update the blacksmiths.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: Well, once we get the mine running.
Speaker B: After, it'll probably be the black. Yeah. So you're. I think it's just uncommon. I think you just need 10 or better.
Speaker D: Nice.
Speaker B: Hard. Yep.
Speaker D: Buy anything.
Speaker B: It would be your mind plus inventor, right? Yeah. You have inventor. Yeah. You have.
Speaker D: 10 plus five.
Speaker B: So I say how many? How much inventor rank? Three. Okay. You have three. Nice. Yeah. So you can easily make one.
Speaker D: I start with one. Show Ramses how to do it. And it'd just be like the tube one. So you just like.
Speaker B: Yeah, it's the.
Speaker D: It'd be such a simple.
Speaker B: I mean shotgun. The pump. Shotguns are really simple. There's not a whole lot moving in them. Yep. All right. Doc builds Alpha Stage 3 for the first rate facilities. I should make a note. Raised land my native.
Speaker D: Upgrade.
Speaker B: All right. And then. Okay. And the jacket is shot. And then what do you do? You guys?
Speaker D: Does that cost xp?
Speaker B: No. Oh, okay. That's just a downtime. So it's your level in order to. If you can spend XP to give yourself more DP points. So if you have. It's the project points, which is downtime project points, which is basically just your career that you're using to make that. Okay. So you can just spend XP to add to your DP amount. So it's just one for one. If you wanted to make a second pump, you could. If you have an extra xp, you can make a second. You have two.
Speaker D: That's what I would do.
Speaker C: Son. That has a little brother.
Speaker B: Yeah. You guys spent like an intense week at the. In the blacksmith doing that. Building it. Everything you learning a little bit of blacksmithing and the processes. You're helping Ramses.
Speaker C: So by doing that, could he add.
Speaker D: That as one of the careers and smithing that career?
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: And then when you.
Speaker B: So you could spend one XP and get blacksmithing, that's you. Yeah.
Speaker D: Because you can't. I don't think you can.
Speaker B: And then if you wanted to go to level one, you'd spend another xp.
Speaker D: Yeah. I don't know. Or is that just attributes that you can't jump?
Speaker B: It's everything. You can't jump anything. So if you wanted to, you have.
Speaker D: To do another downtime. I think you could.
Speaker B: Yeah. There's a blacksmith career.
Speaker D: Can you add multiple careers, like to a roll or do you have to pick one?
Speaker B: No, it's usually it's just one. Okay. But to like. But if fictionally, if it makes sense, I'll probably allow it.
Speaker D: I'd Definitely take some advice.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: You6 XP and convention. If making stuff doesn't cost XP.
Speaker B: No, it's just the skillful DP if you want to have more DP to apply to and then it just costs time basically. And hopefully you don't fail the rule. So if you didn't have such high careers, it would take multiple down times to complete a project. It's like if you only had two sorcery, you would have made two progress and spend more time. Whatever. But yeah, but it's been quite a while. Yeah. Okay, so shotgun times two and then yeah, if you want to go blacksmith zero we can do that for that part of that week. Yeah, I'd be fine with that because that would make sense that you're picking up. Starting to pick up some basics. All right, so then for week three would be New Year's. Do you guys just want to do any downtime projects or just describe your revelry or both?
Speaker A: I want to raise a couple of my one attribute and one combat skill. I want to do agility and range. So I want to actually spend some time with Jacques and be like, I'm missing too much. Like, I'm gonna get us killed out there.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: I'm like, can you like help me get better?
Speaker D: Tell you the pump? Like, no.
Speaker A: Yeah, well, like I'm gonna get us killed out there. And if we go into the oh, hi. The Shadowlands, I gotta be able to hit broadside of a horn, so.
Speaker D: And I'd probably pull in anyone that wants like.
Speaker B: Oh yeah. If you want to spend like your downtime doing training, like doesn't have an.
Speaker D: Idea what's coming if it comes.
Speaker B: So I'd say this would be something that would happen after New Year. I'll say New Year's is like a big deal. Yeah, it's a big deal. So you want to do only shooting. Yeah, so we want to do Jacques shooting. Like clinic on the third week of downtime.
Speaker A: Were the enforcers that we had. Were they ravel?
Speaker B: Some of them would be.
Speaker A: Can we say after this that they're toughs training by giving them the training.
Speaker B: If you want to spend an XP per rabble you want to make tough all.
Speaker A: I don't have any left.
Speaker B: I'm spending all because tuffs are a huge, like are a pretty big jump from route between route within the system.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: It's worth a shot actually because I think there is a recruit. Yeah. So if you wanted to convert Bravo. Okay.
Speaker A: You're right. You remember seeing that. That makes sense. So when we do the training. That'll be three points to go from one to two for agility.
Speaker B: Right?
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: From one to two. Yeah. Because that's your old plus the new.
Speaker A: And then for combat, going from one to two would also be three.
Speaker B: Yes.
Speaker A: That would be for my range.
Speaker D: Or the drain.
Speaker B: Yeah, you can. It's the same thing. Yeah, both of them. You can.
Speaker A: I think it max is a 5, but I think with your skills you probably can have six because one of your skills probably max.
Speaker D: No, I'm not gonna go. That's a plus six.
Speaker B: Right.
Speaker A: But then I have my like death commands.
Speaker C: Never know.
Speaker A: I'm choosing defense for two, facilities for.
Speaker D: Two and a quick recovery for two.
Speaker B: That's 12.
Speaker A: Quick coverage is symbolic of meeting doctor.
Speaker B: On my own bedside.
Speaker A: So I'll heal two instead of one.
Speaker B: If I rest at night. Yeah. It's one XP to heal. It's tough. Okay. So if you want. Yeah. Is your sister enough?
Speaker A: She's more than a.
Speaker B: She's technically a rival. Which is a quote left to you guys.
Speaker D: That's good.
Speaker A: I think she would kill me. At the very least.
Speaker B: They technically get xp and then enemy rivals being xp. When you guys get xp, there's mostly like key match. But not just make rivals. As I eat them. Yeah. The same way they'll get. They may get upgrades and their hair.
Speaker A: Could all use the same book that.
Speaker C: I was studying from and up her life.
Speaker B: I'd say with that book she wouldn't really learn anything.
Speaker D: I know. Yeah.
Speaker C: Well, it probably be a different area.
Speaker A: You're like really struggling with it and you're like, this is like the very hungry caterpillar of necromancy.
Speaker D: This book has pictures.
Speaker B: Easy. I'll just say if you spent the week, you would like begin to understand that like she's. She knows more than just necromancy. That's like her. Oh yeah.
Speaker C: Oh, that was just her. Hey, if it was sorcery, I'd say couldn't bump that up. You just had necromancy written down.
Speaker B: Yeah, because that's just like. That's just gonna be her magic. Like everything okay she does is generally going to be like sourced in necromancy. Just what she likes. Like, you don't. You guys don't know. She probably would have told you. She was probably like early 30s to late 20s when she was in the library and she was in there for like eight years. She would have told you. She was already. She was already quite well trained when she went in there. She just spent her time studying like in there. And Hiding.
Speaker D: Okay, so she survived that long.
Speaker B: Very well. And then as long as you find.
Speaker C: The Jack Daniels and the paste pastry.
Speaker B: Cart and then, like, raptera, like learning magic, there would be kind of like, you know, like Star Trek when they have, like, the kids are, like, in fifth grade and they're, like, doing calculus or whatever. Like, that's kind of like, kind of like in magic school.
Speaker A: So.
Speaker B: She would have, like, gleaned stuff from that book, but it wouldn't be anything to, like, enhance her skill necessary.
Speaker C: No, that's fine. It's just when you said they would have xp.
Speaker B: It's okay.
Speaker C: What can I do to enhance her capabilities?
Speaker B: She would. If you want to. She would probably have six xp, I think. How many adventures has she's been on? I guess the library. That'd be two. And then going to movie. Guys, I. Before I use. If you want to spend 4 XP on her, you can. And I'll just update my coffee later. All right, so we had. So yes. You guys spend the week. So let's see. We had. Week one, I guess, was essentially training stuff and projects. Or now week two is your actual projects. And then week three was party. So week pull. And I can. Depending on, like, what you. If you guys describe, like, building more things or something, that. That will take longer than, like, you. Yeah. So week four, we have jocks after.
Speaker D: Everyone'S hung over.
Speaker B: That.
Speaker A: People throwing up.
Speaker B: Yeah, you would have. So you guys wouldn't have had any trouble getting back. Yeah, because you would have hearthstone. Yeah. Do this part. Stone back. Let me.
Speaker D: It's just a week of shooting from the hip.
Speaker B: This isn't helpful. So that was a party. So you have to work on getting some fake points back. A few.
Speaker C: Okay. Profession and boons next time the.
Speaker B: The XP builds up. All right, so I'm gonna say this is a repeated 10th in 1867.
Speaker D: Yeah. And every week jock wouldn't, like, ride out and just do like. Like go out a couple miles from the place.
Speaker B: Sure.
Speaker D: And just do, like, perimeter.
Speaker B: Right.
Speaker D: And see if anything's coming. And just to get out.
Speaker C: Dude. That actually, while you're doing patrols, check see if there's anybody else with coins close by.
Speaker D: Yeah, we can do that whenever.
Speaker C: And then those five coins.
Speaker B: Sure. Yeah. Doing that. Yeah. And then I guess also this doesn't come up too much, but do for. I guess, you as a player, do you want to pursue anything with Rala and that we. That could be abstracted too. Like, probably not. Okay. Character. Like, for your character. Whatever. Like, if you want to like go on dates or dances. If you were. If you were drunk, would you pursue it? Probably.
Speaker A: Because I just have a week of partying.
Speaker B: Yeah. So like that it doesn't have to be any more than like yeah, no jock probably would.
Speaker D: But we'd also just hang because if she's that savage and knows has that type of like just mind. It would just be like common.
Speaker B: And it doesn't have to be romantic. You guys could. You could just be its friend or whatever. But if you want to build friends. But who knows if you want to build that relationship. Yeah, you are.
Speaker D: He would be.
Speaker B: And if you want to put time into that because there is this system does have. It does have like a relationships. Like it's not like it's. It's like. It's more of like from like. Like hostility all the way up to like your allies or whatever. So like it's a.
Speaker C: You want to make friends.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: Make peace. So if you want to like do that stuff. Like they would just simply push like for a relationship to be more than just like comrades.
Speaker D: It'd be like comrades.
Speaker B: And you guys can. Anyone can do. Yeah.
Speaker D: It'd be like comrades and probably friends.
Speaker B: Just.
Speaker C: Look at docsing. You two ride out to go on patrol. It's like do predators out on the plane.
Speaker D: Yeah, we probably would.
Speaker B: Yeah. I'll just say it's time to drama. And she'd be open to like.
Speaker D: Yeah, you're sister.
Speaker A: It's like whatever you got your hands full. You piss her off. She's gonna just give you an involuntary.
Speaker D: Chiropractic session in your head all the time.
Speaker B: No.
Speaker A: Ready to tell her something. She's like liar.
Speaker D: Talking to people. Liar.
Speaker C: A lot of relationships anyway.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: Doesn't give you a look. It just shows up in your head.
Speaker B: I was gonna say. Yeah. With you guys spending time, she probably. She would ask. Ask if you would be open to like a more permanent mental connection and still maintain your private. Like you can still like so you can talk from anywhere.
Speaker D: I be open to that. That'd be helpful her way.
Speaker A: You know what's going on at home.
Speaker D: If we're out and out and she's showing up.
Speaker B: Yeah. Or a meal.
Speaker C: A trimmer in the fore.
Speaker B: Okay. So week four. Yeah. We did shooting school and then just other general stuff. Sir. I guess any more specific kind of project like because you guys are. I mean if you guys want to like if we want to just sit here for like an entire year and like build a community and stuff that's we can do whatever time Passage we want. That's up to you guys.
Speaker D: I could be at least a month, maybe two months.
Speaker A: We also are kind of waiting to.
Speaker D: See if Emil is like waiting because.
Speaker A: We kind of want to be here if he takes a shot. Not to mention kind of plan on.
Speaker C: What are the fences.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: Defense is also our next moves when we leave.
Speaker D: And it would be after doing like the shooting school to see if any, like, how good people were.
Speaker B: Right.
Speaker D: I would evaluate that.
Speaker B: You know, like, the Sable guys were good. Especially the guys that had the buffalo.
Speaker D: Right.
Speaker B: Yeah, we had like four. Maybe some of them survived.
Speaker D: Well, we trained.
Speaker B: One of them survived. But yeah, we brought all those guns back.
Speaker C: And one of the other trainees.
Speaker B: But I was gonna say, yeah, this could also be something too that you're doing like the whole time as you're just imparting your knowledge and getting other people.
Speaker D: Everyone's walking around with cap gun, quick draw, you're dead.
Speaker C: Once they graduate, do they get a brain?
Speaker D: No brains.
Speaker B: They get a cigarette. Yeah.
Speaker D: Special cigarette.
Speaker C: You show your nerd. You gotta put the cigarette in your mouth. Somebody's gotta light it from 10 yards away.
Speaker B: Oh, matches. Yes, that should be it. Because we actually used to do that, not shoot at each other. But we. We had a. We had a little block. You put matches in them and you actually shoot them with BB guns. And you can light them. There's a lot of fun. Yes. That I think would be.
Speaker D: Yeah, I do games like that.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: During the new year while you're drunk.
Speaker C: That might be something that's got to be added. A rifle range.
Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Yeah. Otherwise. Yeah.
Speaker D: Not in town. So they don't.
Speaker B: Yeah. You go out somewhere. Yeah. You know, like half a mile. Certainly there would be a lot of like swamp farm around you guys too. So when you ride a mile or do and go shooting or whatever. Yeah. Jock considers you a good enough shot when at 10 yards you can fly that someone's match.
Speaker D: Yeah. So.
Speaker B: Yeah, I'll say so like during week five or that mortar. Yes.
Speaker D: Now someone licks them up.
Speaker C: Do I need to roll for coin activation?
Speaker B: Oh, yes. Yeah, let's do that actually. Yeah, let's do that and. Yeah, we'll do that.
Speaker D: Yeah. One thing else.
Speaker B: Okay, yeah, we'll do all that.
Speaker A: What generally happens when you activate?
Speaker C: Then I can trap him. And each coin will open up. It has an ability or something.
Speaker A: You can do this in a safe place.
Speaker C: And when they same place is always recommended.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: Go find a bar.
Speaker B: I say there was. It wasn't.
Speaker C: But it wasn't anything big last time.
Speaker B: Yeah, it wasn't.
Speaker A: Just haven't prepared the town if. If anything is visibly happens. Just keep that in mind.
Speaker C: We need another one of those teleporters.
Speaker A: If you're out in the middle of, you know, town square licking coins and something weird happens, you're on your own. My hair's on fire.
Speaker B: I didn't say if you. If you really want to look into another Hearthstone thing. Ollie probably would have been could help like decipher that and figure it out. And that would be like a month long legitarian project between her.
Speaker A: It's like the duplicate.
Speaker B: Yeah, duplicate wanted to work on that and ram similar would be good.
Speaker A: Not to mention to have two way.
Speaker B: On a trip you would need rams. If we could teleport back to the.
Speaker D: Year that'd be good.
Speaker B: Yeah. Okay. So yeah yeah, I'll make a note of that. We can deal with that next session but we'll do Audrey's coins and then we'll call it for the evening. Cool. Noted that.
Speaker A: A lot of dice.
Speaker B: I enjoyed that brave landings.
Speaker D: Just keeps importing tons of guns and bullets.
Speaker A: That's why Emil hasn't showed up yet.
Speaker C: He's like oh, if anything as soon as he got wind and then he gets up there and hears all the gunfire for practice shots. I'm not sure he'd be like I gotta come back with more men.
Speaker A: Or there whenever there's lots of. Dylan. I was thinking, my brother, that Axis and allies. I tell you about that the anti aircraft gun thing. I was going to actually win a game against my brother. He's four years older than me of access and allies. And I had to roll like there's like 35 or 40 V6s that he had to roll because an anti aircraft gun gets to shoot at all the airplanes. They get one die for every airplane that's coming in. But they have to roll a one to hit out of six. And he rolled over 50% or once out of like 35 or 40 dice. Like it was. I just was for it. He just died laughing on the floor. And I was like. Because the game was over. He was like. He's like, well, I think you won. And I'm like well, we got to do the roll, you know. And he rolled and I just like decimated. And I was like I quit. Like I just concede because there's just no way I can win with half of my air force has been taken out. But like the probability at this point. Yeah, but like the probability of rolling more than 50. I wish I knew exactly, but I know it was over half because we were counting it.
Speaker B: Right.
Speaker A: Like rolling over half of them. A 1 in 6 chance of rolling the number you needed. I'm like, that's just ridiculous.
Speaker B: That is.
Speaker A: So whenever I see a lot of D6s, that pops into my head.
Speaker B: So, yeah, so we'll do one. Do one, get a nine or better. Okay.
Speaker C: And that's a sorcery and a mind added to it. Okay.
Speaker B: No, it would be mine and sorcery that we did last time. Okay. Oh, yeah. Arcane roll. Yeah.
Speaker A: Got this.
Speaker C: Actually, I'm in really good shape because my occupation is at a five and my mind's at a three, so I'm starting at an eight.
Speaker B: Nice.
Speaker A: And you have to get a nine. Oh.
Speaker B: Guys. Yeah.
Speaker A: I was prepared for legendary. You had to roll out a tire.
Speaker C: Five is the wall.
Speaker A: So.
Speaker C: 10, 13, 15.
Speaker B: All right, number between one and five.
Speaker D: Which one would you like?
Speaker C: Three.
Speaker B: Oh, I don't even know what that looks.
Speaker C: 15 again, we'll do two.
Speaker B: Let's say as long as you don't. I was gonna say, as long as you don't get snake eyes, then I don't think it matters because you finish.
Speaker C: No, we're safe. No, double ones. Six and three.
Speaker B: Yep. That's five. Hopefully that font's gonna let me get enough gravity. It works. Wow.
Speaker C: That one's going to come in handy in the future.
Speaker B: I can tell.
Speaker C: Was 30.
Speaker B: Yep.
Speaker C: 23 left.
Speaker D: 23. Weren't these.
Speaker C: No, they got a bunch of them.
Speaker A: That first one.
Speaker B: I will. Yeah, I'll say. Like on one of your patrols with. Roll it and you. You probably would have ran into Skull at some point.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker C: But that would be an interesting conversation.
Speaker B: So we'll do that. We'll have that next session.
Speaker C: Scalp.
Speaker B: And then you do. Would you guys send further scouts out? Like, people out like, half a day? Right. Or would you go out, like, that far and, like, I'd probably go out that far. Ride, like, half a day out and then, like, just patrol around and then spend the night and come back. Yeah, I'd say I'm one of those longer patrols you do see, like a small wagon train with, like, 20, 40 nudes on it. All pretty heavily armed. Right.
Speaker A: Am I with you guys in these type of patrols or not?
Speaker B: That'd be up to you guys.
Speaker A: Depends on the nature of.
Speaker B: So. Well, we'll deal with that.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Actually, if I'm with you, I have a spy class, so I can get details.
Speaker D: If you wanted to be. It would Just be to get out of town for like a day.
Speaker A: Yeah, I'm just. I'm just used to getting into trouble with you. So I'll just go.
Speaker B: Okay. All right. So let's see. Did we learn something new and important about the world?
Speaker D: We made things.
Speaker B: Oh. We never think shotguns can be popped.
Speaker A: Did you learn anything with the book or with.
Speaker C: Skeletons don't just have to be humanized.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: I don't know if that's about the world.
Speaker D: No, I don't think we did.
Speaker B: I'd say that's a no. Okay. Do we overcome noble monster enemy?
Speaker D: Not really.
Speaker B: You loot metal, treasure coins. Five of them.
Speaker D: All the buffalo guns, I guess. Or four.
Speaker B: Do we solve a problem without violence?
Speaker D: 50. 50.
Speaker B: Not really. Probably not.
Speaker D: Reuse violence to solve the vehicle intimidating.
Speaker C: Some of them didn't get shot, so I guess that was.
Speaker D: We got one.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: No. Yeah.
Speaker B: Let's see. I don't know if we have any highlights.
Speaker A: Low lights, upgraded the town.
Speaker D: Yep.
Speaker A: And we got five new peoples. And you only had to cook a few fools. I guess. Actually we did solve a problem without violence. In that you offered them an opportunity without killing them all.
Speaker D: Yeah, that's true.
Speaker A: Because you could have just shot them all. But you were like, let's give an opportunity for these guys. Given that they were your mates of sort.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: That Jacques actually rather than do what you normally would have done, he said you all have an opportunity.
Speaker D: I wasn't gonna line them up because.
Speaker A: The problem was they were choosing whether or not to kill.
Speaker B: Be killed.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Now you choosing to kill them all. I don't know if you guys agree with that, but that was actually showing restraint and trying to solve a problem. And we have five guys because of it. So.
Speaker D: Yeah, I would say we should get.
Speaker A: A point that own horses, if that makes sense.
Speaker B: Yeah, that's fine. That's. These are more for you guys decide on.
Speaker A: I thought that was good. It's a big boon to the town to get five jobs.
Speaker C: Another one's turned into scouting, which is a boon too.
Speaker B: Any new long term goals?
Speaker A: I have to think about it for me right now. But it's more.
Speaker C: Nope.
Speaker B: Sam, get the mind your stuff out.
Speaker A: I need to like touch base with.
Speaker D: My sister, deal with whatever's coming in the wagon.
Speaker B: Yeah. Yep. Next session projects and I just got.
Speaker C: To figure out what to do next. Backup healer comes to mind. Boons come to mind.
Speaker A: Replicate the.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: I got six xp and I up my strength to one. And then I took that dead eye.
Speaker C: Both on my rp.
Speaker D: My gunslinger to three. Even though I just.
Speaker B: What was that?
Speaker D: Oh, I bumped my gun slinger to stream.
Speaker A: Only help.
Speaker B: I was gonna say for like intimidating people. Or if you're like trying to like doing like trick shot like shots outside of combat. Or if you like will somebody.
Speaker D: That's true.
Speaker C: I don't want to waste all these good people's time. Just you and me.
Speaker B: That's true.
Speaker D: All right.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: Okay.
Speaker A: Oh yeah. I guess.
Speaker B: Yeah. I guess. What after downtime going into the minor like or zine or something completely different.
Speaker D: We have skeletons that maybe the mine to start it. Yeah. Well, like as a worker seed. Unless we want to do your orzine thing first.
Speaker C: We've got the orzine and the elderite that are kind of along the way.
Speaker B: And the mine.
Speaker C: But he's in.
Speaker B: I say Blackrock can have Eldorite in it.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker B: You guys learn. Yeah. I think you guys decided like that was.
Speaker D: It was probably in there. We didn't go that deep and.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: And it could be wider. It's a big bottom.
Speaker C: So let's do the one so that.
Speaker B: You could have learned that black rock had. I think that's what we decided.
Speaker A: Dr. Want to figure out about that magnetic mushroom. If we can grow it and figure.
Speaker B: Out how to use it.
Speaker D: I need to spend the time fixing that Gatling. I forgot.
Speaker C: So if we did the hearth and the Gatling gun for projects. Once we get that done. Because we want the hearth at the mine.
Speaker D: Galley down.
Speaker B: Right.
Speaker D: We just stay at the base that braves landing.
Speaker B: If the world goes well and you.
Speaker C: Can make two of them.
Speaker A: First just as defense. If the mine's in trouble. We can go like get the posse and go hit the mine. But if it's defending the town. We need to be in town. But yeah. Maybe we can make more Milanos.
Speaker C: Then it's like, oh, they lured us to the town so they can attack the mine.
Speaker A: But I'd rather lose the mind than lose the people.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: Because we can retake the mind or retake the town would be harder. We'll see what's 25 guys show up.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker D: See what they are.
Speaker B: Oh yeah. The Hearthstone project all look definitely as 100% a legendary one. And then you guys may need to actually build facilities to be able to even work on all that stuff too.
Speaker C: I was thinking the blacksmith might need to be upgraded.
Speaker A: You may have to take the first rate facilities.
Speaker D: I probably will.
Speaker B: If we take the vine or just do the blacksmith kids up there. Yeah.
Speaker D: So that.
Speaker B: That may be a multi. That will probably be A multi month project. That's fun to build something that and you may need to go some places to get mats or more info back to the library.
Speaker A: So in the first rate facilities. If I have my tools in the first rate facilities I would get my mind and my doctor. And two bonus die for any medical activities that.
Speaker B: Wow.
Speaker C: You do cybernetic arms.
Speaker B: What's that? Quick drop cybernetic arms.
Speaker A: I don't know.
Speaker C: Robotic guys?
Speaker B: No, no.
Speaker A: Not yet.
Speaker D: Depending on who sent probably a meal jock may go deal with a meal.
Speaker B: Yeah, they have to. Or have a understanding of good stuff. Yeah. Oh, and then I'm playing on pizza next week at 5. That's so good with everybody for the 4th, I guess.
Speaker A: Is that on the 4th? No, I was gonna say the 4th is the day.
Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. The 4th. We're definitely gonna be as you Standard session, you know. Standard session, huh? Still a question.
Speaker C: This is curiosity. If I put the coins on my horse and the horse is in the.
Speaker B: Ring.
Speaker C: Does it track the ring.
Speaker B: Or is it shielded.
Speaker A: Or does someone find out where our horses are?
Speaker D: We don't know where our horses are.
Speaker B: I guess I have no clue where that goes. You don't know if they're in some weird. Like if there's somewhere else on the planet we could do it for another world. Check the bath. They're just.
Speaker D: Cho wanted to go back, asked him how it was and he's like.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: My horse probably hates me because I keep bringing him out to like in the middle of combat, like kick this guy.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: Reminds me of as triple as it is was an old Bill Cosby thing. He's like. He used to watch the Lone Ranger on tv. He goes. Invariably he'd be chasing the bad guy and he'd run out of bullets and he throws the gun and the gun always hits Silver the horse. He's like. I'm waiting for one time where he's like jumps on his horse, hi ho, Silver away. And the horse is like, wait a minute. We're gonna talk about this before I go. You need to understand, every time I go out, I'm the one that gets hit with the gun in the teeth, not you. The horse finally complains, you know, for every episode of it was jumping out.
Speaker C: Of that second story window onto the back of the horse.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker C: I don't blame the horse one bit. Moving over just.
Speaker A: Yeah. The horse is like, no, I'm done with this. We're gonna get a new horse.
Speaker D: Yeah.
Speaker A: So another twist.
Speaker C: What if our horses have ponies of.
Speaker A: Their own in the pasture.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: That'S why they want to go back to get all their other ladies. And families are over there.
Speaker C: The herd's growing. We can't be gone that long.
