Malkor is the name of the large blue gas giant located in Kuron dark star cluster.
Originally drawing the gas mining corporations it was found the many 'moons' would prove far more profitable than the gas giant itself. With the establishment of mining colonies on the moons their designation among the miners and traders became known generally as Malkor Rock to distinguish between the gas mining operation and the mining on the moons, later becoming Malkor Rok.
Scientists speculate that during it's formation the gravitational well pulled in a local asteroid belt to producing numerous rocky moons full of various mineral wealth. These moons vary in size and composition with the largest moons being mined and hollowed out to act as hubs for trading it's immense mineral wealth. The largest of these is the city state called Ebonleaf
